JERRY: Hello everyone, I'm Jerry Savelle, thank you for
joining me today. I have Pastor Justin Bridges with me and we're
to continue our study on keys to a flourishing lifestyle. Those
of you that have been with us for the last three weeks, I
trust you've enjoyed the broadcasts, the lessons, and I
certainly would love hearing from you and all of you that are
partners with us, I want to thank you, once again, for your
partnership. You are so special to us and I'd tell you, we
wouldn't be able to do all that we do all over the world if it
wasn't for faithful partners like you. So thank you partners,
for believing in us, thank you for your faithful support.
Justin, we've been talking about keys to a flourishing lifestyle,
spirit, soul, body, financially, and I believe the holy spirit
would have us to deal with that in particular on today's
broadcast where healing is concerned and living in divine
health. I want to read 3 John, verse two once again. We've read
this on some of the previous broadcasts. "Beloved I wish
above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health
even as thy soul prospers." So notice here, that two specific
things that God had John to write, and this is on the mind
of God. This is God's greatest desire, that we prosper and that
we be in health. Say that with me. God wants me to prosper, and
God wants me to live in health. Say it again. God wants me to
prosper, and God wants me to live in health. Now, notice
living in health, that's flourishing physically. Living
in divine health. Up until just a few months ago, I have lived
in divine health all these years up until a few months ago when I
needed to have some surgery on my throat where there was a
plaque build up in the main artery that causes the blood to
flow from the heart to the brain. I had no idea. I had no
symptoms. You would have thought, and they said it was at
least 75% to 90% blocked. You would have thought that I would
have had some kind of symptoms. But God's enabled me to live in
divine health all these years and I didn't even know that
there was a problem, until I went to have a physical and they
said, "We recommend that you have the plaque removed. It's a
routine surgery," they said, "You'll be in the hospital,
we'll make an incision on your neck, remove the plaque, you'll
be in the hospital probably a day and a half, go back home,
take a few days, possibly weeks to recover." But while I was in
there and they made the incision, some of the plaque
broke off and went through that artery to my brain and I had a
stroke. JUSTIN: Yeah. JERRY: Now, I was not counting on that,
I don't think the doctors had counted on that. It was
definitely Satan trying to take my life but God wouldn't allow
it, praise God. So, they had to go in and remove ... They opened
that incision again, and found out once again that I had had a
stroke. I lost total use of my right arm, I lost total ...
There was a total memory loss, I didn't even know my family. I
didn't know one scripture and I'd been studying the Bible and
preaching for 48 years in the natural. It was certainly not
what I expected. So, I began believing God when I finally was
able to start remembering the scripture again after a few
days. Scripture began coming back to me. And one of the first
scriptures was the memory of the upright is blessed. JUSTIN:
Amen. JERRY: Praise God, and I started confessing that. The
memory of the upright is blessed. And you know, three
weeks after I returned home, I was back preaching again.
JUSTIN: You were. JERRY: And I've been preaching ever since
and God did an amazing miracle in my life, got the use of my
right arm back, there's no evidence that I ever had a
stroke, and God's just done marvelous things. I've seen a
lot of people since then who have experienced strokes and
they still have the effects of it. But I'm telling you, all
that Word that I deposited in my heart over 48 years, the Word is
medicine to your flesh. And God has given me a fresh start, a
new start, praise God. I'm preaching more now than I ever
have. JUSTIN: Yeah. Well I remember when you were going
through that and we first got the report and we were praying
for you and I remember seeing something and it was so awesome
to watch you walk to Word. Walk in not just preaching this, but
walking in it. And I remember when you were at the hospital
and Ms. Carolyn had sent me a video, and you were in the
hospital walking around, and what you were doing is you were
taking your arm and lifting it up. Even though you couldn't
move it, faith as an act. JERRY: It was just dead weight. JUSTIN:
Faith as an act and I remember going to the church the next day
and telling them about that, or that next Sunday, and I reminded
of a message Smith Wigglesworth spoke, how all he did
from the platform was, "Faith is an act. Faith is an act. Faith
is an act." And I just watched you. It was just an action. Even
when you were doing all the things, the things they were
having you to do with the clay and all that, is watching, I was
like, "Faith is an act." And so you jut didn't lay back and sit
there and take it. JERRY: No, I wasn't going to accept defeat.
JUSTIN: That's it. JERRY: And I remember saying to Carolyn and
Rachel and different ones that were in the hospital with me
there, I said, "Faith without corresponding actions is void of
power." And I said, "Get me out of this bed, and I'm going to
put my robe on and walk around this hospital wing." And so I
started walking around that wing, now I'd have to hold my
arm up. JUSTIN: Mm-hmm (affirmative). JERRY: If I let
go of it, it'd just fall. And I started walking around that
hospital and I was not going to give up. And they thought that
first time around, I'd want to go back and get into bed, and I
said, "No, I'm going to keep going." And I walked and I
walked and I walked and finally, I heard the doctor say, "If he
shows some improvement tomorrow, we'll release him and let him go
home." Well I didn't know what they were wanted to see, but I
was determined I was going to produce it. And so, they
released me the next day, and I knew once I got home, I'd be in
my environment, I'd be in a Word environment, and I knew that my
recover would be almost immediate. JUSTIN: Amen. JERRY:
And so, I started confessing the Word of God, I started doing
things that in the natural I wasn't able to do, they said
they were going to send a therapist out and they were
going to send me through a medical boot camp and that it
would take several weeks for me to recover. Seriously, I was
back preaching in three weeks, had total use of my arm back,
preaching the Word of God and I've been traveling all over the
world ever since and almost nonstop. And praise God, I am
living proof that God desires above all things that you
prosper and live in health. Because I'm doing it, praise
God. Amen. JUSTIN: Amen. JERRY: So God wants us to flourish in
every area of our lives. Now, let me go back, go back to
Calvary, that's where it all begins. The Bible says in Isaiah
chapter 53, verse 4 and 5 and verse 11. "Surely he had born
our griefs and carried our sorrows, yet we did esteem him
stricken and smitten of God and afflicted." The Holy Spirit just
interrupted me, Justin, let's pray right now. There's some
people that are watching this broadcast that are victims of
strokes. JUSTIN: Amen. JERRY: Let's pray over them right now
that they'll have the same miracle that I had. Praise God.
JUSTIN: Well Father, God, I just thank you. JERRY: Thank you
Father. JUSTIN: That you're no respecter of persons.
JERRY: Jesus name JUSTIN: And you're the
same yesterday, today and forever. JUSTIN: And so we
speak-- JERRY: Yes Father. JUSTIN: --to anyone
that's had strokes, we speak to any of
the results of a stroke, anyone that may not
even be aware that they might be possibly to have a stoke, I come
against any of those symptoms in the name of Jesus and I command
perfection. I command every part, every limb to work and
function correctly, their mouth to function correctly, every
part of their body, I declare paralysis needs to cease and
desist in the name of Jesus and I declare that the life of God
is flowing through your body from the top of your head to the
souls of your feet in Jesus' name. JERRY: Jesus' name, amen.
Now, you do something you couldn't do before. You just ...
If you couldn't life your hand, take that hand and lift it up as
high as you can and begin to praise God. JUSTIN: Amen. JERRY:
So do something to show that you believe God is doing a work in
your life right now. Amen. So once again, Isaiah chapter 53,
"Surely he hath born our griefs, carried our sorrows," notice it
starts with the word surely. It's a sure thing. JUSTIN: Amen.
JERRY: No guess work here. JUSTIN: no. JERRY: He did it.
"Yet we did esteem him stricken and smitten of God and
afflicted. But he was wounded for our transgressions. He was
bruised for our iniquities. The chastisement of our peace was
upon him and with his stripes we are healed." JUSTIN: Yeah, amen.
JERRY: Praise God. JUSTIN: Amen. JERRY: Can you say that right
now with the stripes of Jesus I am healed. Say it again. By his
stripes, I am healed. That's not some day, you are the healed
right now, praise God. JUSTIN: Amen. JERRY: Healed from the
crown of your head to the souls of your feet and Satan's trying
to rob you of your health, but don't let him doing it. That's
what he was trying to do to me. But don't let him do it, I
resisted him and just like James chapter 4:7 says, he had to
flee, praise God. I am ... The results is I don't have any
symptoms of a stroke, God has blessed me, and I'm living in
divine health, and praise God he's no respecter of persons.
Now, Galatians chapter 3:13 says, "Christ hath redeemed us
from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us. For it is
written, cursed is every man that hangeth on the tree." And
if you read in Deuteronomy chapter 28, the curse of the law
it is included in the curse of the law, every sickness and
every disease known to mankind. JUSTIN: Yeah. JERRY: Deuteronomy
28:61, also every sickness and every plague, which is not even
written in the book of the law is under the curse, and thank
God you have been redeemed from the curse. Say that out loud. I
have been redeemed from the curse. The Bible says is Psalm
107:2 and this is very important, "Let the redeemed of
the Lord say so, whom he hath redeemed out of the hand of the
enemy." So it's important that you begin saying that you are
the redeemed. You're redeemed from sickness, you're redeemed
from disease, you're redeemed from poverty, lack, and want,
and you need to be talking it, praise God. JUSTIN: Amen. Amen,
it has to keep coming out of our mouth. And thinking about, this
sickness is under the curse. You know, and when you were talking
about Isaiah chapter 53, you realize that's not just healing,
it's the whole man. Bore our grief, carried our sorrows, and
with his stripes, we're healed. It goes back to show that he
wants us to flourish in every area, in every part of our body.
And it's something that we need to continue to come out of our
mouths. I'm reminded of Psalms 103, "Bless the Lord and all my
soul and all that's within me. And forget not any of his
benefits, who forgives us of our iniquities and heals us of all
our diseases." All of our diseases, not some, but all of
our disease. JERRY: That's right. JUSTIN: And that's
something that needs to be our proclamation and needs to be the
thing that we're decreeing and we're blessing the Lord. Why?
Because, he is the healer. JERRY: That's right. Psalm 107,
in the New Revised Version says, "Let the redeemed of the Lord
tell their story." JUSTIN: That's good. JERRY: Hallelujah.
And the Message translation says, "All of you set free by
God, tell the whole world." Hallelujah. JUSTIN: Amen.
JERRY: That's what I'm doing. I'm telling the
whole world. JUSTIN: Amen. JERRY: I am redeemed.
I'm telling the whole world. I am the healed by the
stripes of Jesus. Do I look like a man who just a few months ago
had a stroke? Had no use of his right arm? Total memory loss? I
thank God that the Word of God is medicine to my flesh, he sent
his Word, and he healed me, and he delivered me, and I'm
flourishing in health, and that can be your testimony as well.
And what does it say? Let the redeemed of the Lord tell their
story. JUSTIN: Amen. JERRY: Tell somebody, I am the redeemed. I'm
the healed by the stripes of Jesus. Can you say amen? JUSTIN:
Amen. JERRY: Amen. JUSTIN: Amen. As you were talking about that,
it goes back to what we dealt with last week. The word has to
be the final authority. The Word has to be the final authority. I
was thinking about this as you were talking, and I was thinking
about really with Jesus, because Jesus it says that he is the
visible representation of the invisible. And as we talk about
his Word, there's a time in Mathew chapter 8, where Jesus
was ministering and there was a man that Luke says, he was full
of leprosy. But Mathew chapter 8, he said, "Will you make me
whole?" And Jesus says, "I will." Now, it's something ...
think about this, it's just a small phrase, I will. Say that,
I will. JERRY: I will. JUSTIN: You know, the Word will there,
in the Greek is the word thelo. Now get this, Dr. Savelle
in the Greek, this word means, it's what I like to do. So when
Jesus says, "I will," he's saying, "It's what I like to
do." It's what I like to do. In the Greek, it also means it's
fond of what I'm doing. It's fond. JERRY: He gets pleasure.
JUSTIN: He gets pleasure out of healing. It's what I like to do,
so when he told that person with leprosy and he reached down and
touched him, he says, "Will I? It's what I like to do." JERRY:
I can see him with a smile on his face. JUSTIN: It's what I
like to do. And right after that, in Mathew chapter 8 with
the Centurion, he said, "Come, will you come and heal my
servant?" And Jesus says, "I will come and heal him." What is
he saying? It's what I like to do. God's will is that we would
be healed in our physical bodies. Healed in our soul.
Healed in our mind. Healed in our finances. It's God's desire
for all of humanity. JERRY: Amen. Psalm 34:19 says, "Many
are the afflictions of the righteous, but the Lord delivers
them out of them all." JUSTIN: Amen, all. JERRY: That's
flourishing, spirit, soul, body and financial. JUSTIN: Amen.
JERRY: God wants us to flourish in every area. He wants us to
live in divine health. Affliction means pain,
suffering, sickness, adversity, and God's word says that he will
deliver us out of them all. Psalm 107:20, "He sent his Word
and healed them and delivered them from their destruction." 1
Peter 1:23, "The Word of God liveth and abideth forever." And
he goes on to say in verse 24 and 25, "The grass withers, the
flower fades, but the word of our God endoureth forever."
Praise God. The Word, the Word. The Word, hallelujah, is
medicine to your flesh. JUSTIN: Yes. JERRY: Now, if you're not
taking any Word, if you're not putting any Word in your life,
then you're not putting any medicine in your flesh. You
know, if you went to the doctor and he said, "I've prescribed
this medicine and I need for you to take it three times a day for
the next week," what would you do? If you wanted to be well,
wouldn't you follow his instructions? Well, the Bible is
medicine to your flesh. It's God's prescription for health.
And if you go to the Word of God, and particularly look up
all these healing scriptures. Praise God, if you look up all
the healing scriptures and just meditate on them, get them in
your heart, speak them out of your mouth, then his Word will
be medicine to your flesh, praise God. You will begin to
enjoy divine health. You will flourish. Spirit, soul, body,
and financially. John chapter 17 and verse 17, and I mentioned
this once before, on a previous broadcast, "Thy Word is truth."
That means the highest form of reality that exists. You say,
"Well the doctor said I'm sick." That's a reality. You know,
you've been diagnosed and the doctor said you're sick. That is
a reality. I'm not doubting his word. But it's not the highest
form of reality that exists. There is a higher form, praise
God, and that higher form is the Word of God. So if the doctor
says, "You're sick. I've diagnosed you and you have this
pain and you have this disease," well do you say, "Thank you,
sir, I appreciate your diagnosis, but the Word of God
says by his stripes I am healed. Hallelujah." So, the Word is
medicine to your flesh and the more Word you get in you, then
the healthier you're going to be. JUSTIN: Yeah, and there's
something that I learned from you many years ago, where you
talked about don't let go of the Word because it has ... Don't
let go of your confidence. Put confidence in the Word and don't
let go of your confidence, why? Because, it has a great
recompense of reward. I mean, there's a payday on the other
side of me holding onto this Word, having confidence in the
Word and holding on to that Word with confidence. It says there
will be a payday. JERRY: Yeah. JUSTIN: And we will not draw
back from it. JERRY: Amen. Praise God. JUSTIN: We won't
draw back from it. JERRY: Don't dare give up. God wants you to
live in health, he wants you to prosper, he wants you to
flourish in every area of your lives. But, it takes the Word of
God to get there. JUSTIN: Yeah. JERRY: Without the Word of God,
it's not likely that you will ever flourish in every area of
your life, so spend quality time in the Word. If you need
healing, go look up all the healing scriptures. If you need
financial break through, look at all the scriptures that pertain
to financial breakthroughs and get them in your mouth, get them
in your heart, hold fast to them, and dare to believe them
and God will cause his Word to be confirmed with signs
following. That's how you live a flourishing lifestyle. These are
the keys that we wanted to bring to you during these broadcasts.
And so, I leave this with you, before we go to our announcer,
make a quality decision that you're going to get in the Word
and you're not going to be talked out of it. Stay in the
Word, the Word will set you free in every area of your life.

RYAN: I'm Ryan. TONYA: And I'm Tonya. And we're
the Flowers. RYAN: And this is our partner story. TONYA:
In 2009, we moved from Redmond, Oregon to Fort
Worth, Texas to start our family. We quickly became
pregnant and were very excited to have our first child.
Unfortunately, we did lose that baby, but we had great support
from our pastors at Heritage of Faith Christian Center. RYAN:
Right. And then, while in service, one time when Dr.
Savelle was speaking at Heritage of Faith, he talked about sowing
a significant seed. And so we sowed this great piece of baby
furniture that was going to be perfect, but we knew in our
hearts that we need to sow into another couple that was
expecting a baby. TONYA: We got pregnant again, and we had a
beautifully, healthy, perfect pregnancy. We welcomed Lucas
into our family. About four years later, we began to start
believing for more children. And we had four consecutive
miscarriages within one year. RYAN: We went to the doctors,
trying to find out exactly what was wrong in the natural so that
we could, like Dr. Savelle says in his book, Prayer of Petition,
it would give our faith a target. So we could physically
speak to the hormone levels and all the changes that had to
happen in your body. There were a lot of times where it felt
just impossible. We felt like giving up. But then, at church,
I found Dr. Savelle's book Called to Battle Destined to
Win, and that book inspired and encouraged me so much, just to
keep standing, to just keep plugging away. And I think he
says in there, when you get to the end of your rope, tie a
note, and hold on. And that's kind of what we did. TONYA: We
got pregnant a fifth time, and when we went to the doctor we
found out we were having twins. We were really taken back and
overwhelmed by God's goodness, and he really surprised us with
two little ones. RYAN: When I first saw that it was twins, and
through this twin's pregnancy, I wasn't feeling physically, you
know, what Tonya was going through. So the devil tried to
come at me with fear-thoughts of, "Oh now, it's twins. You
were planning for one baby, now you're going to have two. How
are you going to be able to support this family that's going
to know, like, triple in size? How are we going to afford all
this different stuff?" So we continued to stand for God's
provision. So much so, that by the time the babies actually
came, we'd been blessed above and beyond, so that we had
diapers and wipes to last two babies for a whole year. TONYA:
We were excited to welcome Wyatt and Timothy into our family.
They were perfectly healthy. Had a perfect delivery. Because
of the faithful partners at Jerry Savelle Ministries,
we were able to use these resources to build our
faith, and believe God for our family.
JERRY: Keep those testimonies coming, you hear me?
Share with us what God is doing in your life, and particularly
as a result of the messages you're hearing on this

testimony here earlier, from someone in India that has been

"I have not worked since March of this year, however, God has
provided and continues to provide for me, and my family.
He is the God of surprises." Here's one from Karen a month
ago, "I watched your show on your teaching of prayer of
petition. After watching, I wrote a check, I sent in my
seed, four days later, I received a message from a client
interested in buying my company's product, two weeks
later, I closed the deal and the commission came in a month and
on time to pay a huge bill that was due. Praise God."
Jacqueline, "I got the full time job with benefits that I was
believing for all these years." And Coleen, "I wrote a prayer
request back in April to ask for prayer for my husband who had to
be tested for possible prostate cancer, praise God he does not
have any cancer and he's getting good reports, thank you for your
prayers, and thank you for your ministry." Praise God, that's
exciting. I appreciate you taking the time and sharing
those testimonies with us, and no testimony is too minute, I
want to rejoice with you in what God is doing in your life. If
it's important to you, it's important to us, praise God.
Justin, we have some other prayer requests from friends and
partners and some of them, I want to read. Here's one from
Latasha, she needs healing for her mom, here's one from Robert,
he needs healing in his family. One of them is on medication,
experiencing hallucinations, and healing from female problems.
Nancy, she needs healing and free from addiction, so let's
pray over those and believe God for miracles in their life.
JUSTIN: Amen. Father, you said in the Word- JERRY: Thank you,
Lord. JUSTIN: That if anyone was sick, that we should call the
elders of the church and they should pray over them, anointing
them- JERRY: Yes. JUSTIN: With oil, and the prayer of faith
would save the sick. So father, we release our faith on their
behalf right now. We command tumors, you be gone. We command
healing to manifest. We command issues that are within the
woman's body, we command them to be made whole- JERRY: Thank you,
Lord. JUSTIN: In the name of Jesus. I thank you that just as
that woman with the issue of blood was made whole, I thank
you that every woman is made whole right now in the name of
Jesus. We release our faith for deliverance. I thank you that in
the name of Jesus, restoration is coming to every family, to
every marriage, every one of our children. I thank you, we call
our children into the kingdom of God, and we just thank you that
our lives are flourishing. Their lives are flourishing and their
increasing more and more in Jesus name. We thank you for it.
JERRY: Hallelujah. JUSTIN: Amen. JERRY: Praise God.
The Bible says, "Let them pray the prayer
of faith. Faith believes even before it sees
results." So, I'm believing God for results in your life, and
I'm looking forward to the testimony of you sharing with us
how God has come through for you and God has healed, God has
delivered, and God has met your need. Praise God. Listen, once
