It was the synthetic answer that the guides of humanity

offered to analyze the thesis of evolution

that involves us all.

We are people, in the perspective of spiritist knowledge,

that we leave the "not knowing" for the continuous learning

towards the perfection.

We are those who experience a pre-humanity

stage rehearsing our

evolutionary process: in the mineral, developing attraction;

in the vegetable, the sensitivity; in the animals,

to experience the instincts

until we flow into the primitive man,

in the position of simplicity and ignorance.

Here free will unleashes and we are making conscious choices;

we will, therefore, from there, experiencing the perception

of themselves and being able to make decisions that generate

discomfort, for us or the other, consciously.

It is a slow and gentle process in which reason and

emotion are blossoming to gain much higher statures

in the evolutionary phase in which we find ourselves,

composing our humanity

towards greater possibilities in the field of intuition,

of our divinization along of the millennia that will come.

In this period, however, our choices

make us opt for ways that can be painful

or not, and therefore, if our choices

do not observe the Laws of Love, we generate pain, suffering,

which we call evil.

We leave a process of comfort,

of ignorance, to experience, by choice,

painful consequences that

we generate in ourselves or in others.

Therefore, it is not necessary to do evil

to achieve the experience of enlightenment,

by experimenting with everything that suits us in humanity.

It is necessary to make choices, in spite of the fact that evil

also serves as an inner experience to

learn good, even if it is by this tortuous way.

If we do not observe love, pain teaches us to love.

But, necessarily, we do not need to experience

evil to make evolution; the evil that causes pain.

We need to get out of ignorance, in the

trials of right and wrong, to try to live life,

the provational processes that embed us, sometimes,

some kind of discomfort,

aiming to assimilate enlightenment experiences,

galvanizing our process of enlightenment

that is lost in the nights of the millennia.

Hello brothers and sisters in Christ.

Welcome to the 4th video of the "Proving that Jesus indeed resurrected" series.

In the last video I spoke about the most famous alternative theories that tries to explain the Resurrection. We analyzed each one of them and we saw they fail on some argumentative level.

So in this video I'm going to present to you the Resurrection Theory, the hypotheses of a supernatural phenomenon that can really explain our 3 facts (the empty tomb, the post-mortem appearances of Jesus to a lot of people and the sudden origin of Christianity).

How does this theory fair by our criteria? For those who aren't understanding what I mean by "criteria", I advice you watch the 2nd video of this series so that you understand the rest of this video.

I spoke about several criterions that historians use to analyse in depth a theory that fits best on explaining historical facts.

Well, the Supernatural Resurrection Theory definitely has the best explanatory scope (one of the several criterions). It explains all 3 facts—the empty tomb, the post-mortem appearances, and the origin of Christianity— whereas the rival explanations only attempt to explain one, or perhaps two.

It also has tremendous explanatory power. This might be it's greatest virtue.

On the Resurrection theory, it seems extremely probable that the tomb should be empty, the disciples should see appearances of Jesus alive, and they should come to believe in his Resurrection.

The plausibility of the Resurrection is also high, once we accept those 2 premises I mentioned in the 1st video, that God exists and that the accounts of Jesus found in the New Testament are generally reliable (I made videos over this matter, I'll leave the links to them in the description box below).

Moving forward to another criterion, the Resurrection Theory is not contrived, because it requires no new suppositions. The other hypotheses all require many more new suppositions, such as that the disciples were all liars or deluded or hallucinated, or that the centurions really didn't kill Jesus.

Additional things has to "fit in" the story to make sense... And that's just guessing. The Resurrection Theory doesn't require anything in addition.

Finally, the Resurrection Theory is not disconfirmed by accepted beliefs. Sure, someone might say, "Well, it contradicts one accepted belief, that men just don't rise from the dead!"

But this isn't a real contradiction, because we can believe BOTH that dead men don't naturally rise from the dead AND that God supernaturally raised Jesus from the dead.

There's no conflict there. We agree that, without supernatural aid (this is key!), dead men stay dead. But we're not arguing that Jesus rose from the dead naturally or by his own effort. We're arguing that God the Father, in a supernatural act, raised Jesus from the dead.

There have been unexplainable cases of people who were declared dead and many hours later comes back to life. Surf the internet for yourself over this issue.

There's no scientific explanation for this. The fundamental question is: did these people came out of death by THEIR OWN power?

Of course not. This was a divine act. Only God could permit such thing to happen. These cases close enough to what we can call a resurrection. Several people were pronounced dead and after many hours -- some cases 24 hours later -- they were alive.

Therefore, coming back from the dead isn't a never-heard-thing. Remember Lazarus being resurrected by Jesus? (cf. John 11:38-44).

There are also accounts of this sort of phenomenon perform by christian saints. Again, they did this not by their own effort, but with divine assistance.

So in the end, what are we left with? Well, we've seen how the 4 naturalistic theories I spoke in the previous video—the Conspiracy Theory, the Apparent Death theory, the Displaced Body theory, and the Hallucination theory—all have devastating flaws and fail to account for all the evidence.

Only the Resurrection Theory fairs astonishingly well. It does account for all the facts, it requires no contrived new beliefs, and it seems very plausible given that God exists and Jesus prophesied his own Resurrection.

All this means that we can know from a fair, historical analysis—just as historians analyze any other event in ancient history—that God did in fact raise Jesus from the dead.

Some skeptics tries to debunk the Resurrection Theory...

The first objection is this: "The stories of Jesus' Resurrection are just recycled versions of pagan myths about dying and rising gods. It's all made up."

So how should you respond to this? Well, you should say two things. First, ask which specific myth or which mythical figure does the story of Jesus parallel? If the other person can't point to specifics, it's a sign that they're just regurgitating something they've heard but for which they have no support.

The fact is, there is no direct parallel for the Resurrection of Jesus. It's a totally unprecedented event in human history.

We do have stories of mythical gods being assumed into heaven (such as Hercules and Romulus.) We have stories of heroes disappearing into a higher realm (such as Apollonius and Empedocles).

And there are examples of god like Osiris and Adonis that represent seasonal symbols for the crop cycle, dying in the dry season and coming back to life in the rainy season. But even in these latter cases, there's nothing like the Jewish idea of Resurrection.

In the stories about Osiris, for instance, probably the most commonly suggested parallel, Osiris was murdered and then his body was dismembered and scattered around the world. Later, the body parts were recovered and rejoined, and he was rejuvenated.

Osiris then journeyed to the underworld, where he became the lord of the dead. He did not resurrect with a glorified body and walk with men on earth, as Jesus did. He was not alive again, as was Jesus, but was instead a "dead" god who never returned among the living.

In every case with these alleged parallels, the comparisons between Jesus and pagan gods are spurious at best, and in most cases they share little in common, so this just isn't a good argument.

Moreso, it completely ignores the firm, historical evidence we have about these events. Pagan myths are not rooted in history; Jesus' Resurrection is. His existence, his death, his resurrection are historical.

We can research history and see evidence all surrounding Jesus and his life; pagan myths are not rooted in history.

My friends, this is what I wanted to say in this video. Don't miss my next one! I'm going to mention more common abjections and how you should respond. It's good to have knowledge of these things so we can bring people to the Truth,

open people's eyes to encounter Jesus Christ so they can worship and have a relationship with the One True God. This can transform their hearts for the better and get a better chance to be saved.
