McLaren 570 GT 720HP Review by AutoTopNL - Duration: 9:47.

we're starting today

with a short history lesson

and it's short

because just 5 years ago

McLaren started building supercars

for the street

and they started of course

with the MP4-12C

which was a super fast

very impressive car

which was very ugly

especially the front

if you ask me

but then came

the McLaren P1

and that was going to be

the direction of the new design

for the future of McLaren

we got beautiful angles

air flow slots

gorgeous sharp lines

and this meant the MP4-12C

became the 650S

which was roughly the same

mechanically very impressive car

but then with that lovely P1 styling

next was the 570S

which is more affordable

compared to the 650S

and in that series

came the 570GT

yes, we made it

we're 5 years ahead now

and that's the one we have today

the 570GT has to compete

with the Porsche 911 Turbo

built for the street

instead of the track

so it's a bit more leather

instead of alcantara

it's a bit softer

instead of harder

and that drives really well

on the road

but

then there was

the 720S

and there you are with your 570GT

you might think "I should have waited"

I would've bought a 720S

there's a solution

I'm not driving a 570GT today

but I'm in a 720GT

by PP-Performance

the benefit of buying

a McLaren with a lower

power output

is that apart from the 720S

they all have the same engine

only the software is different

so with very limited means

you can get the power up

to a crazy amount

that's what PP-Performance

have done with this 570GT

it's from a customer

so big thanks to the owner

for letting us drive it

because this car

has a different downpipe

and different software

that's it

and that gives you 720HP

and that means the 570GT

is no longer

the softer and slower member

of the McLaren family

it might even be one of the fastest

because it weighs next to nothing

this is terribly fast

that traction control

doesn't know what's going on

It's thinking

"I thought we only had 570HP"

it's constantly working

to get the power down

and when it succeeds

which is from around 150 kph

it's so ridiculously fast

and thanks to that downpipe

the sound is more free as well

so all of those gasses

are no longer blocked

by the catalytic converter

because it's gone

and that gives you

a wilder sound

more of those bangs we want

and the exhaust itself

is stock

but it produces

so many great sounds

it's the first

turbocharged supercar

that really convinces me

because sometimes

it almost sounds

naturally aspirated

a bit like a Lamborghini

I would almost say

and at high revs

it produces a different sound

and then BOOM

a big bang from the exhaust

it's too good for words

the cool thing about a GT

is that it looks different

from it's S brother

the rear end is different

and you have

that 'Touring Deck'

lined with leather

where you can store your bags

it's a bit more isolated in here

so it's a bit more quiet

a bit more comfortable

the suspension is a bit softer

there's a 1200Watt sound system

with a carbon fiber subwoofer

never heard of that

but it'll sound great

at the next birthday

the highest amount of HP

I have ever driven

was a 983 HP

Mercedes C63 AMG

by GAD Motors

but even though this

has almost 300 hp less

I think this is at least

as fast as that

that gearbox

the aerodynamics

all mean

you don't really need

1000 HP

to be as fast as or faster

than 1000 HP cars

it does come in first place

when it comes to aggressiveness

because Oh my god

this thing is so aggressive

it's like an ex-con on heroin

it's insane

so to end this video

what is the gem

in the McLaren family?

I think the cars

with the lower power output

they almost all have the same engine

just take it to PP-Performance

and they will unlock

the true potential of your car

with very few means

thanks for watching

New Lego Dinosaur Playmobil Large Zoo Playset Toys With Jurassic World Surprise Dino Unboxing - Duration: 16:45.

Wow guys check out this awesome Playmobil zoo we build with all these

awesome Lego dinos Wow it's going to be a lot of fun stay tuned to watch me

build the zoo and to put the dinos in it Wow cool

New Lego Dinosaur Playmobil Large Zoo Playset Toys With Jurassic World Surprise Dino Unboxing

super for one with the Velociraptor and also one with the Dimetrodon guys if you

do like any of these toys that are I'm reviewing you could also purchase these

by clicking my link below the video I have an Amazon link it doesn't cost you

any extra I do get a small commission from Amazon so it helps me out and wow

these are off first of all the Dimetrodon set has like like a flying

fish or something dragonfly a little eyelid there another look at it here if

you look at the back of it so it looks really cool let's check it out

and this is what's in the box got a bag various parts here you got

pieces of the palm tree that the Dimetrodon you have the little islands

here a piece of a palm tree and then you've got some water effects from here

so I'm going to go ahead and put it together and then we'll check it out

Wow guys this Dimetrodon set is really awesome you get a lot of detail let's go

ahead and check the cap what comes in the package first of all you get the

cool island with the water you get a awesome little black snake with like

green and yellow stripes on him you get a tiny little scorpion here so grass the

gross here you got a lily pad with the flower they're kind of surprised they

don't give a frog okay and you gave a lily pad but no frog and you've got this

off flower here you put on all these flowers individually so that looks

really cool you've got this plant here you got like ah this looks like some

type of a flying fish over here yes it does how bowls to so you could put it on

different areas of plate set and then over here you've got like a tree

looks like part of it is dead but part of it like these orange leaves up here

up there in the tree you've got an awesome little dragonfly and over here

you got a really cool-looking plum tree and then on top of all that

you've got a awesome Dino I mean if you went and bought a Dino set without all

this with just the Dino from like other manufactures you would get the Dino for

the price of the whole set so you get the whole set plus the Dino great value

this is like a rubber material this sale it's that'd be like a sale or the spiked

on his back there and then he is like an orange and brown color with his stomach

yellow it says Playmobil over there and then he does have moving legs he or she

most dinos are she's but I really don't know he looks like it so and then uh the

mouth does open and close you can see it's got teeth here it's got feet on its

nose so I don't really know what is going on there but a great job with the

eyes two tiny little black guys so this guy is awesome I mean I reviewed a lot

of Dinos this is really good quality for the price you're paying for and then we

have another awesome set this is a Playmobil super force set with a

velociraptor well here is a good look what comes with awesome let's go ahead

and open this up one here you got some type of a plant here this looks like

part of the base got part of a tree and different parts there and then you got a

tree bunch of colorful leaves the little blossoms er this little alien guy I

apologize I did not watch the super force series so if you know what any of

these guys are called let me know in the comment section down

below okay let's go ahead and take a look at this

super force set 2 because it's really cool and it does come with a little

velociraptor I want to take a look at him first

because on this set is actually very affordable odd Amazon's got this one for

under $7 but is the add-on item so if you want to check that out in the video

description the description below but this one his head will move up and down

his arms the stationary but his legs move also

so for its a really cool little velociraptor I really like it a

Playmobil makes some really good high quality toys that will last for a long

time and for smaller kids is preferable to Lego the set goes together similar to

Lego but they're more playable for smaller kids so then you got this uh

like I said I'm not really sure what her name would be is like a bunny figure so

it comes with a boomerang and then you've got this like scientist with a

cool little magnifying glass and actually it actually magnified stuff so

it's a real working connect fine class her head turns her arms move

she could stand up and sit down claw her off it looks like and then

let's go ahead and take a look at the set it's okay so first of all the set

comes with three mushrooms then over here you've got a big palm tree here

like a peacock shape you have a snake here that fits right on to the tree so

you could fit it in anywhere are there slots on the tree put in a lot of

different position it's like red green and like a lime green and then you've

got some really colorful plants this one is purple and pink you've got like a red

plant down here if you turn this you see it's got like orange moss growing off

the pine tree there and then you got this plant in the back

that's like green with like purple flowers growing out the top like I said

really cool set guys I like this because it has the gyno in it and if you guys

did like my stop-motion at the beginning in this video make sure you guys leave

me comments and let me know what you guys would like to see change because I

have a lot of fun making those stop-motion videos for you guys okay so

another really cool thing you can do with the Playmobil set is combine them I

have a really cool off Playmobil zoo state here so I'm going to go ahead and

combine it with some of these pilings we got here so here

ahead in build sequin here you use your back walk at the back display where you

can put like your I link in here and then here

going to add another suit another kids here with the other Island over there

you probably want to leave a space between them or instead of that one like

this big one here that space between them you could leave space for the

people to walk then you could have awesome exhibits in here here we're

going to go ahead and put the Dimetrodon in the cage there with the Velociraptor

hopefully they won't eat each other then we will go ahead and put this multi guy

up in the tree over there and then I got some other parts from

other time ok all set here we have a couple like little eyelids put into the

you set here so we're going to take these eyelids and put one back here and

we're going to put one in the front here so right now the zoo is looking pretty

good of course now we need some other cool

time so we have a Lego t-rex here this guy's really cool I get full reviews on

all of these by the way so if you haven't seen those you can go to the end

of this video to the Lego Jurassic off growth playlist and then I got some

little baby t-rexes that little brown baby t-rex here Cuban

tortillas Oh mommy correct and then I got a little blue t-rex here but you can

also put with mommy t-rex then I have a big t-rex here which

is going to be daddy so we're going to put daddy t-rex

in here with mommy and babies over there and then I wonder is this an indominus

rex Wow mommy and ominous rex so we're going to put mommy and ominous rex in

with the die more put on hopefully they won't eat each other and then we have a

little baby Lego and dominate spray so we're going to go ahead and put that on

in there with mommy and then we have to be careful oh no we can't mix herbivores

with carnivores carnivores are dinosaurs that eat meat herbivores are dinosaurs

that eat plant so we have a little triceratop there which we're going to

put in that other cage we had over here and then we have a little purple

triceratop which we're going to put the next

over there to that what else do we have Wow then we have a couple velociraptors

so let's go ahead we're going to put one Velociraptor in here with the die more

put on and we're going to put the other Velociraptor in here

with the t-rex family good idea mommy and then you don't want Ross wrapped

around their babies well anyways that's where they're going to go and then we

have another big Lego Velociraptor which we will put it oh boy come on got a room

okay we're going to put that guy in with the t-rex dinos back there so now we

have an awesome little zoo with velociraptors and t-rex is in one cage

other cage we have the die more feed on we've got a couple indominus rex is we

got a little baby velociraptor and a bigger velociraptors that would be

velociraptors blue over there and then we got a couple Triceratops here and

then we're going to put an entrance so of course we're going to need a worker

here so you could go off and buy tickets so we're going to need people then we

have a mommy here with first son we got another mommy here with her daughter and

they are going to buy tickets so once they buy tickets here then they could

enter the zoo to see the animals let's see where they will go oh here comes a

guy with wheelbarrow I'll look we're going to load this up with food for the

dinos so this one they're going to eat flying fish and snake and the herbivores

are gonna get playing so this guy will just take the wheelbarrow right up

here and then he's going to jump back so they don't fight him and these dinos are

going to come right up to the edge of the cage and they're going to eat boy

that looks yummy on that after they eat he's going to load his wheelbarrow up

with food for the herbivores and of course the herbivores he doesn't have to

be afraid of because they're not going to eat him to take it right up to the

cage and throw it in for the herbivores yay they have food too oh no he's

getting too close to the cage all the doughnuts is right behind them quick

somebody help oh look it's the other guy is spoken in

with the fork oh good run Joe run wow he just got out of there in time okay well

anyways guys this is the zoo that you guys help me build what do you guys

think I think it's awesome and it was a lot of fun if you did enjoy it please go

Varianza condicionada - Duration: 14:06.

Hello, in this video we will study one of the

main formulae of conditional probability

We say that the variance of a variable

is the expectation of the conditional variance plus the variance

of the contitional expectation.

This formula has a funny symmetry,

which I consider pretty aesthetic,

and I am not alone.

In fact, there is a rhetorical device called spoonerism

to describe this sentences.

The expectation of the conditional variance

plus the variance of the contional expectation,

is like that priceless piece of spanish literature which says:

"cuando la tormenta se avecina, mi vecina se atormenta." (When the storm is approaching, my neighbor is afflicted)

To demonstrate this formula is not our goal here

but we will make use of an easy example

to illustrate how to perform the calculations.

Next, we will present some cases

where this formula can be useful for geneticists.

We will use the formula to calculate the variance

of the score obtained by rolling a six sided dice.

First of all, we will calculate the variance via the conventional method,

that is, whitout making use of conditional probability.

If we call x the score obtained by rolling the dice,

we will calculate the variance of x by using, as usual,

the expectation of x and x squared.

Let us calculate the expectation of x as the sum of x times the probability of x

that is, 1 times its probability, one sixth, plus two times its probability, etc

ant the result is 21/6.

The expectation of x squared is the x squered times the probability of x,

that is, 1 squared times one sixth, etc. And the result is 91/6.

Well, to calculate the variance of x via the conventional method,

that is, as the expectation of x squared minus the expectation of x, all squared.

In this case it gives 91/6 minus 21/6 squared.

Simplifying, 35/12.

Please remember this result, 35/12, because we will repeat the calculation

conditioning on the result of the roll being even or odd.

Now, the variance of the score

will be the expectation of the conditional variance of the score

given the score being even or odd

plus the variance of the conditional expectation of the score

given the result being even or odd.

Let us do the job step by step.

First, we need four expectations:

The expectation of the score given the score is even,

given the score is odd, and both expectations of the squared scores.

I will calculate the first in detail while filling the rest of them.

In this case, when the score is even, the valid scores are 2, 4 and 6,

each one with a probability of one tird.

We are using the same formula, that is, the sum of x times the probability of x,

but in this case the probability of x is the conditional probability,

the probability of x given even.

The other expectations have been calculated in he same way.

For the expectation of the conditional variance, we will calculate the variance of

x given even and the variance of x given odd, and then we will average them.

The variance of x given even is the expectation of x squared given even

minus the expectatuion of x given even, all together squared.

Total, 8/3.

And the variance of x given odd equals the expectation of x squared given odd

minus the expectation of x given odd, all together squared.

Total, also 8/3.

Now, the expectation of the conditional variance of x given parity is easy,

becasue we know that the probability of a even score or an odd score

is 1/2 in both cases.

The expectation of the conditional variance of x given parity

is 1/2 times 8/3 plus 1/2 times 8/3, and here you have the fisrt part solved.

Now we will calculate the variance of the contditional expectation of x given parity.

This part is easier because the variance is the expectation of what is inside squared,

I skipped a parenthesis may be unnecessary,

minus the expectation of what is inside, all together squared.

For the first part, please remember the conditional expectations we calculated

previously were 4 and 3, and we average them weighted by using their probabilities, 1/2.

The second term only consist in averaging the conditional expectations

and squaring afterwards.

And we solve to get the result of the second term.

Finally, we calculate the variance of x as the sum of the variance of the conditional 78 00:05:47,341 --> 00:05:52,712 expectation and the expectation of the conditional variance, which are

8/3 and 1/4. The sum is 35/12, as we calculated previously.

Well, as you see the calculation is pretty much complicated, but our motivation was

to show that both results match and also the become familiar

with the expectation of the variance and the variance of the expectation.

During the second part of this video, we will show some application examples.

First, as we can read in several Henderson's papers, we say that the variance

of the genetic value of any individual equals the selection index variance,

plus the predistion error variance.

Taking into account that the selection index is really the conditional expectation

of the additive genetic value given the phenotype,

the additive genetic variance equals the variance of the selection index,

that is, the variance of the conditional expectation

of the genetic value given the phenotype,

plus the the prediction error variance, wich is the conditional variance of the

additive genetic value given th ephenotype.

As we know that the conditional variance does not depend on the phenotype itself, we can

replace the conditional variance with the expectation of the conditional variance.

I want to show you another example. The EM-REML estimate of the additive genetic

variance, which has two terms:

a quadratic form of the selection index, meaning the variance of the conditional

expectation and a second term involving the inverse of the coefficent matrix of MME,

which means the expectation of the conditional variance.

This formula was taken from the Mrode's book, for instance.

Another example, also taken from the Henderson's papers,

where the variance of the breeding value can be obtained from G,

which is the matrix containing the (co)variances of additive genetic values,

minus C, meaning the prediction error variances wrutten as a matrix.

Now, by using the conditional probability formula we will calculate

the intrafamiliar variance.

Let us assume that a sire and a dam have your progeny,

another couple have two progeny, and so on.

Let us call V A the additive genetic variance for the whole population

and I will call V I the variance of each group of full brothers.

Although the term intrafamiliar variance usually refer to some phenotypic variances

involved in familiar designs, here I will use the term intrafamiliar variance

as the variance of additive genetic values within the half brother groups,

or full brother groups.

Well, we say that the variance of A is the expectation of the variance of a

given both p and m, that is, the additive genetic values of both parents,

plus the variance of the expectation of a given both p and m.

Let us describe each term:

Additve variance is the additive variance :),

The variance of a given p and m is the variance of all individuals sharing

the same parents, that is, what we called intrafamiliar variance,

and the last term, the expectation of a given p and m, can be obtained

following the following rationale: the additive genetic value of an individual is

the average of the additive values of its parents.

Now, we will continue with a few algebra. We know that the variance of p

is V A, as this is true for all individuals, and the variance of m is also V A.

Then the intrafamiliar variance equals 1/2 of the additive geentic variance.

Here we have assumed that the variance for parents and progeny is the same, V A

and the parents are unrelated.

Now, we will analyze the half brothers scenario.

We will go a bit quicker.

Now the additive genetic variance is the intrafamiliar variance

plus the variance of the expectation of a given p,

which is the intrafamiliar variance plus the variance of p/2.

Following the same argument as in the previous case and solving for V I,

the result is now 3/4 of the additive genetic variance.

I will finish this part by saying that we have now three values for the variance

of an individual. One, when we do not know anything, which is

the additive genetic variance. Two, when only one parent is known,

which is 3/4 of the additive genetic variance, and

three, when both parents are known, which is 1/2 of the additive

genetic variance.

As the information we have for an individual increases, its variance decreases,

which agrees with our intuition or our common sense.

Nevertheless, we have to say that when mathematics do not

agree with the common sense or the intuition, we have to revisit our numbers or

to revisit our intuition, and that cases usually finish in interesting ways.

To finish this video, I will comment the meaning of the conditional probability

functions such as a given p. The function a|p is a function of a,

and p is just a parameter, a constant. Something observed.

It looks paradoxical that something unknown, like the additive genetic value of the sire

of an individual, can be assumed somewhere as an observed number.

This paradox have an explanation.

When trying to solve by using a science, we implement that in three steps

During the first step, we move the real world to the theory of the required science,

the probability in this case. Usually this step is known as modellization.

During the second step, we solve the problem inside the probability realm.

Here we use albegra, inference, calculus, computing, etc.

And during the tird step, we move the obtained result back to the real world.

This step is usually called the interpretation of the results.

So, the terms such as the expectation of a|p are nonsensical everywhere but in

the second step. They have no meaning during the first or the tird step

because they do not exist in the real world.

During the second step, into the probability realm,

assumig that p is a constant, that the additive genetic value of the sire

of an individual is observable, can be very useful.

¿Why? Becasue it helps to our rationale and allows us

to reach interpetable results during the tird step.

The expectation of a|p is p/2 if we know p

and that is true when we are into the probability world.

That´s all folks. I hope you enjoy it and see you next time.

(Moğolca: Олгой-Хорхой, "Olgoy Horhoy"), yani "bağırsak solucanı"

demektedirler.

Patladığı zaman ölümcül zehrini kurbanının her yerine saçmış oluyor.

Frank Herbert'in dev kurmaca bir sistemin kumullara ritmik dev dalgalarla çarparak

Chicken baked with lemon + potatoes baked in bacon - Duration: 7:32.

Chicken baked with lemon and Provencal herbs + Potatoes baked in bacon (2 recipes)

If you get in the way of subtitles - turn them off!

Hello! My name is Dina. Welcome to my "Recipes Collection" channel.

Today we will prepare a delicious, aromatic, festive dish -

A chicken baked with lemon and Provencal herbs, and a garnish served with fresh potatoes baked in bacon.

In fact, these are two separate recipes, which I decided to unite this time, because they perfectly complement each other.

This recipe will appeal to lovers of Italian cuisine, as it contains the entire bouquet of aromas of Provencal herbs.

Chicken, baked entirely in the oven - it's a pleasure, because cook this dish is simple enough, and the result in the end is great.

And if to this delicious chicken, serve the garnish with fresh potatoes baked in bacon

Then we will get a full festive dish, the preparation of which we now and will.

For this recipe we will need: • 1 large chicken • 2 lemons

• 100 gr. Butter • 2.5 heads of garlic

• 1 kg of fresh potatoes • 250 gr. Chopped bacon

• 5 onions • 50 gr. olive oil

• 1 tsp. Rosemary • 1 tsp. Thyme

• 1 tsp. Oregano • 1 tsp. Sweet peppers

• 1 tsp. Seasonings for chicken • salt and pepper

To begin with, let's do the chicken.

I have a large chicken, weighing about 2 kg. It must be washed and dried.

Sprinkle the chicken outside and inside with salt and grease it from all sides with the juice of one lemon.

We put the chicken aside, let it go wrong.

In the meantime, we mix all the spices.

In a separate bowl pour thyme, seasoning for chicken, oregano, rosemary, paprika and mix everything well.

We will postpone one teaspoon of the prepared spicy mixture, it will be necessary for us for preparation of a potato.

Prepare a fragrant butter.

In a bowl with soft oil, grind 4 cloves of garlic,

We add a peel of one lemon,

Prepared mixture of herbs,

A little salt and black ground pepper.

Thoroughly mix the creamy mass until smooth.

We will lubricate this butter with this oil, but for now let's set it aside.

Prepare the rest of the food, cut the onion with a large straw approximately 5 mm thick.

I will use 2 kinds of onions, white onion, which will give a spice, and aroma to our dish, and red sweet onions.

All the sliced onions are poured into a separate bowl and we'll take care of the garlic.

I took 2 heads of young garlic, without peeling, cut each across into 2-3 plates.

Lemon should be washed and cut along into 4 parts, it will be needed for the stuffing of the chicken.

The products are prepared, the chicken is slightly soaked in lemon juice, we take a refractory form, in which we will bake everything.

From the chicken, merge the remains of lemon juice and put it into shape.

Further it is necessary to separate the skin from the pulp of the chicken, gently lift the skin, especially in the area of the breast and legs.

We spread the prepared fragrant oil under the skin of the chicken, trying to distribute it evenly.

We lubricate the chicken inside and outside with oil residues.

Try to carry out this procedure very carefully, so as not to tear the skin, unfortunately, in my case it was slightly torn.

We fill the wings behind the back of the chicken so that they do not burn,

We bind the legs with a culinary thread,

And in the abdomen we lay a lemon cut into quarters.

We put the chicken out of the way and deal with the potato.

I pre-washed the young potatoes with a brush, but did not peel the peel.

We wrap each potato with a strip of bacon and fix it with a wooden toothpick.

Sprinkle the prepared potatoes with salt, black pepper, a mixture of herbs and lightly pour it with olive oil.

Let's return to the form for baking.

We place the chicken in the center of the form, and around it we spread a large chopped onion.

On top of the onion, put the chopped garlic.

It turned out the so-called "onion pillow", and on top of it we lay out the prepared potatoes.

Using a brush, grease the potatoes with the remains of spices and butter.

And now the chicken and potatoes are greased again with olive oil.

All prepared for baking, send the form to a preheated oven, the temperature in which is 150-160 ° C (302-320 ° F)

As for the baking time - look at your oven, it took me 1 hour 20 minutes.

The dish is completely ready, we get it.

Here's a baked chicken with lemon and Provencal herbs and potatoes in bacon, we got it.

The chicken, cooked according to this recipe, turns out to be very soft and tender, the meat practically lags behind the bones.

The aroma of lemon and Provence herbs gives the chicken a unique original taste.

Young potatoes, baked with crispy crust, soaked in the aroma of smoked bacon, a bouquet of Provencal herbs and olive oil, it turns out very tasty!

Such potatoes can be safely served as an independent dish.

It is ideal for a friendly picnic and a festive feast.

Prepare you and this wonderful dish for your family and friends, I wish everyone a pleasant appetite!

GST FOR COMMON MAN | EXAMPLES - Duration: 14:04.

Hello Friends!!!!

Today I'm going to explain, the most anticipated tax change in India called GST or (Goods and

services Tax), in the language of a common man like me.

This is the most revolutionary step taken in respect to tax reforms which has a potential

to reap huge benefits for India in the long run.

I know, there are tons of information available over the internet and other news mediums.

Some are saying that it will take away the cascading effect, CEOs are going gaga over

the ease of doing business whereas others are churning out slogans about 'one nation,

one rate'.

But what does it mean to you?

Will you end up paying more Or less?

Is it an additional tax burden on you apart for the other taxes?

What is GST?

I'll try to explain all these questions in as simple terms as possible.

But for that, let's first understand the current tax structure in India and how GST

can be a game changer: In India, currently, we have two kinds of

taxes.

One is Direct Tax and the other is indirect tax.

What is direct tax?

Direct taxes are those taxes that are paid directly by an individual or company.

Like Income Tax.

It's liability cannot be shifted to somebody else.

Ok, so what is Indirect tax?

For these kind of taxes, the liability for paying the tax, can be shifted to someone

else.

In most cases it is the consumer i.e people like us.

Let me explain this a bit more: Have you ever carefully seen your bill from

a supermarket?

It will have a plethora of taxes.

Depending on the groceries in your shopping cart, you could be paying VATs at different

% from 5.5% to 14.5%.

So, for a bill of let's say Rs.5000, you will have to cough up another let's say

475 Rs.

As tax.

The scenario becomes more complex if you try to dine out.

Not only you will have to pay VAT, but also Service Tax, Krishi Kalyan Cess, Swachha bharat

Cess.

So, on a bill of Rs.1000, you need to shell out Rs. 56 as service tax, Rs. 2 as Krishi

Kalyan Cess, Rs. 2 as Swacch Bharat Cess and a VAT of Rs. 20.

The service tax plus the two cesses goes to the Central Govt. for the restaurant services

that you availed.

The State extracts VAT from you for the food product that you consumed from the restaurant.

In the third scenario, you went for a movie with your friends.

There, you will be slapped with an entertainment tax of almost 30%

So, let's summarize the taxes that we actually pay…..Excise duty, Service Tax, CST, Custom

Duty collected by central govt. and Vat, Entertainment Tax, Luxury Tax, Octroi or entry tax collected

by state gov.

So, to get rid of all these taxes, Central Govt. is bringing in a new unified tax, called

the GST or Goods and Services tax which will abolish, all these taxes.

It is also a form of indirect tax which will be levied on Goods and Services.

To be very clear, it will have no impact on the direct taxes that you are paying.

So, if we go back to our earlier examples, Shopping in a Super market, will be subjected

to GST, same goes for Dine out and movie tickets.

Also, the GST on every transaction within a State will be split equally into a Central

GST and a State GST.

When goods are shipped from one State to another, the Centre will collect an integrated GST

from the seller which rolls both into one.

In simpler terms there will be three types of GST, CGST collected by center which is

replacing Excise Duty, ST, CST and Custom Duty, SGST or State GST is replacing Vat,

Entertainment Tax, Luxury Tax, etc.

Now that we have a basic understanding of what is GST and types of GST, let's see

the benefits: #1) It will remove cascading effect or Tax

on Tax.

Let's understand how it will happen For the sake of simplicity, let's assume

the current tax amount is 10% for every level.

There are generally 4 levels in any kind of supply chain.

Manufacturer, Distributor, Wholeseller and Retailer.

Manufacturer buys raw material for 100 rs.

And creates the product.

So, let's say a value of 50 rs gets added to it.

So the price of the finished product now is Rs.150.

Since there is a tax of 10%, 15 Rs, gets added to the finished product as tax.

The Distributer buys the product from manufacturer at Rs.165 and Adds value of 20 rs.

Price of the product now is 185 Rs.

Again add 10% Tax to it, i.e 18.5 rs, this will make the value of the product as 203.5 rs.

Wholeseller again repeats the same process and now the cost of the product becomes 223.85 +

Taxes.

So now the price of the product is 245.85.

At the final step, the retailer adds his profit and taxes and finally the consumers buys the

product @ 292.43 rs.

Now if we start from the manufacturer at every step there was a tax paid.

And that same tax is again taxed in the next level till it lands into the hands of consumer.

In other words, tax is again getting taxed.

This is also called cascading effect.

Now let's look into the GST System.

Raw material of 100 rs and a value addition of 50 rs.

The product price becomes 150 rs.

But this time the manufacturer has to pay a tax only on the value addition that is on

the 50 rs which will be 5 Rs.

But the selling price will not increase and the purchase price for the distributer will

be 150 rs.

He adds value of 20 and pays a tax of 2 rs.

So, the price will be 170 rs.

Same for the wholeseller and the price of the product now is 190…the retailer adds his

profit of 20 rs and pays a tax of 2 and finally the product price is 210....which is paid

by the consumer.

So in totality, the product that you will be purchasing under GST system, technically,

will be 58.23 rs.

Cheaper.

This brings me to the obvious question, will GST bring down the prices?

I would have loved to say 'YES'….but the answer is both 'YES' and 'NO'.

Firstly, if the retailer is kind enough to pass on the benefit to the cosumer rather

than pocketing the benefit, then only you will get lesser prices.

But my common sense says, that will hardly be the truth.

Secondly, based on GST slab, which I'll explain later, some of the prices will go

up and some will come down.

#2) Reduction in black money: Black money is the money on which taxes have

not been paid.

There are certain persons who show less income by not showing all the transactions.

By doing this they not only save indirect taxes but also report very less income.

Since GST provides benefit by eliminating cascading effect, everyone will want to avail

the benefit.

However, to avail the tax benefit paid by the previous person in the supply chain a

transaction document or some sort of proof is required.

Hence, everyone will insist on an invoice.or pakka bill.

This way for each transaction, GST will have a trail right from the manufacturer to the

consumer and this can be accessed by the income tax department.

Also, PAN card and ADHAAR card will be required for filing GST returns

#3) One India, One Market: There are a dozen of taxes that prevents India

from becoming a common market place.

Under GST there will be only a single tax imposed all over the country turning India

in to a common Market.

#4) No entry tax/Octroi Every time goods are moved between states,

the trucks carrying them, needs to be pay, entry tax at the state border.

This is a tax that is collected by state.

If the truck moves between multiple states, it has to pay entry tax at every border.

Also, the counter part of Octroi is CST or Central Sales Tax that is collected by Central

govt. for movement of goods between states.

Some manufacturers refrain to do business between states because of Octroi and CST.

GST will make transportation easier by replacing CST and Octroi.

It will reduce the overall transportation cost for doing business.

#5) Quicker transit Another clear benefit you can expect from

GST is that it will crunch the time taken for goods to move across the country.

Today, if a truck is moving produce from Punjab to Tamil Nadu and passes through 7 different

States, this movement becomes extremely slow due to the entry tax process.

By official estimates, about 6 hours is lost from a 24-hours transit because of this tax

paying process.

GST, by doing away with such hold-ups, may help trucks zip across State borders.

That means products arriving to you in a much more fresh condition, thanks to GST!

#6) Ease of doing business: In the current tax system, every business

has to comply with various tax authorities like Income Tax, Vat, Service Tax, etc. and

file many returns with such tax authorities.

After GST implementation, there will be only a single registration, single return and less

paper work.

So, a business can focus more on their customers, rather than the paper works.

Ok that's about the benefits, but what's in it for Common people like me.

How much we will have to pay?

In the current tax regime, Indirect taxes on Goods are between 27-32%, whereas for Services

it is somewhere around 15% Under GST, Since a lot of the products and

services will come under 18% bracket, cost of many goods should come down, whereas the

cost of some services will go up.

There will be 4 main tax slabs ranging from 5% to 28%

Tax Rates Products Some of the products under 5% Edible oil,

sugar, spices, tea, coffee (except instant) Coal (instead of current 11.69%)

Mishti/Mithai (Indian Sweets) Life-saving drugs

Under 12% we have Computers, Processed food We have 18% on Hair oil, toothpaste and soaps

(currently at 28%) Capital goods and industrial intermediaries

28% will have Small cars (+1% or 3% cess) Consumer durables such as AC and fridge

Luxury items like BMWs, cigarettes and aerated drinks (+15% cess)

High-end motorcycles (+15% cess) Beedis are NOT included here

Other than this, we will also have a category of 0% tax, which is on day to day items like

food grains.

Some of the items that are not included in GST are Petroleum Products like petroleum

crude, motor spirit (petrol), high speed diesel, natural gas and aviation turbine fuel, Alcohol

for human consumption, Electricity, tobacco.

However, this list is not exhaustive, so I've shared links to the entire list of GST rates

in the description box below.

Also, link to all the resources used th this video are also given in the description box below.

Please take a look As I see it, GST is one of the most impactful

changes in tax, that will be implemented from July 1, 2017.

Over the long term it will be very beneficial to the common people like us.

Also, it will fuel the next level of growth for India.

That's all for today.

Why Am I So Hard On Myself When Other People Don't Like Me - Duration: 6:07.

the topic today is why am I so hard on

myself when other people don't like me

hello my name is Augustus and I learn

about social barriers and norms to help

people become their true self in life if

you like my videos please hit subscribe

and let's get into a topic for today why

am I so hard on myself when other people

don't like me we all probably felt this

at one point when that one person says

hey I don't like your hat or I don't

like your hair or even worse I don't

like your face then like here it really

hurts us because it's something that's

very personal to us and we take it

personally and we feel really bad about

ourselves and we don't want to do that

again we don't we don't even want to

wear that hat again or show up to in

front of that person we feel really just

hitting ourselves constantly and feeling

like we're such a bad person because of

it and it's not a very good feeling and

this is not emotionally healthy as you

can see you might be watching this video

because you know that it is not

emotionally healthy and you want a

solution and the simple explanation for

this is that you like other people more

than you like yourself explanation wise

that's simple very clear-cut that is

exactly what it is you value and like

other people more in you like yourself

other people might disagree with me on

this but you have to value yourself the

most it doesn't mean other people are

not important but you had to have

self-respect you had to

self-acceptance and you have to be able

to see yourself as something that's

valuable and that you are willing to

invest in so that you can actually and

will want to take care of yourself like

if you don't see yourself as valuable

then why would you invest in yourself

like if you see other people is more

valuable yeah you will listen to them

more but here that is what you don't

want to do because then other people's

opinions become like they have so much

more weight than your own opinions and

we do not want that to happen so here we

had to learn to really value ourselves

and respect ourselves as a person respect

ourselves and learn to be okay with

conflict conflict is probably something

that most of us see is bad and I know a

lot of people one will do anything they

can to try to avoid conflict because it

makes everyone feel bad

I mean who looks for conflicts actually

no I know there are some people that do

to look for complex but conflicts is

important and we have to learn how to

manage conflicts and be okay with

conflicting things because when other

people are challenging your thoughts you

have to learn to be okay with that

challenge and be able to fend off

opinions that are potentially hurting

you if we do not learn how to handle

conflicts then everything that people

say will feel like a personal attack

conflict is your boundaries learn to

protect yourself and learn that hey it's

okay to disagree with someone you can

still be friends with someone else even

though you disagree with what that

person is saying that person may not

like your shirt but hey it's perfectly

okay because I like my shirt and it's

okay for that person to disagree with me

and I am NOT any less of a person

because I disagree with that other

person so learn to practice that learn

to be okay with disagreements be okay

with conflicts and the question for

today is how do you deal with people

that don't like you what do you do let

me know so thank you guys for watching

as usual and stay strong stay safe let's

keep on walking this social journey

together and become much better at

talking with people sharing yourself

expressing who you are and empathizing

with other people so I'll see you guys

next time

plays right
