Youtube daily report Jul 24 2017

It turns out that it's all too easy for us to fall into a sort of rut in our thinking

and it can feel so comfortable, so good.

We can feel so certain that it's right that we can't even realize that we're stuck

in a rut.

Part of this is called "Einstellung," right, this kind of effect.

And that is this sort of you see one approach to do things and you are convinced it's

right— And even it if isn't the best approach you just can't see other approaches because

you've already locked in that first approach.

And to some extent we do that in everything we do in life because as we grow, as we grow

from infants and we're maturing there are synaptic – we're born and kind of our

earliest years we have lots of synaptic connections.

And as we don't use some of them they just wither away and die.

So even by six months of age what happens is you've lost the ability to even hear

certain sounds of other languages because you haven't actually used those circuits

yourself.

So what you want to do in your life is you want to try to expose yourself to novel stimuli

as much as possible.

So I mean that doesn't mean that you have to like live a topsy-turvy life, but try things

like sitting at a different place at the dinner table or brush your teeth with the other hand.

And, of course travel is a great way of getting out of your comfort zone.

One of the things that I think is very interesting is Nobel Prize Winner Ramon y Cajal had said

that—he's considered the father of modern neuroscience and he'd worked with many geniuses—And

he said, you know, "I've worked with these geniuses, and," he said, "I am not a genius."

He said, "What I am is persistent and I'm flexible when I see that the data is telling

me something different than I thought it should tell me."

So he was able to change his mind.

Now what happens with really smart people, those geniuses who Ramon y Cajal was referring

to is they're super smart.

So they're used to being right and figuring things out quickly.

They tend to jump to conclusions and they haven't had the experience of changing their

minds when they're wrong because they haven't been wrong that often.

And what that does is that makes them less flexible in the face of changing data or even

being more open to different ideas.

So I think it's really important to try to keep yourself flexible, try to talk to

people of different opinions, listen to them.

Of course you'll be forming your own opinions, but you'll be surprised if you listen carefully

how you can find yourself being a more open and caring person just for the fact that you've

listened.

My background is a little different in that I worked for several years as a Russian translator

on Soviet trawlers.

So it was an eye-opening experience for me because it allowed me to realize how easy

it is for people to get in an echo chamber where they have no idea that there are other

opinions and other ideas that are outside their own echo chamber.

So I saw that on the trawlers that I worked on.

There was no exposure to Western ideas and Western thoughts.

And so they were convinced that all capitalists were evil, that people when they got to shore

they would be kidnapped and tortured and terrible things would happen to them.

And, of course, that wasn't true at all.

And their conceptions of the West were completely wrong.

And what I see, another thing was just that they were terrified of saying the wrong thing.

It was truly a totalitarian society where if you had "wrong think" you were in big

trouble.

And to some extent I see a little of that going on in our society today.

People become very polarized because they only listen to news that relates to something

that backs up the world view that they have.

And so it's almost a little bit like the old days when I was working with the Soviets

because there's this sort of group think that "we're right."

And also fear if you say the wrong thing amongst your group.

And this is a dangerous sort of societal situation to fall into where you're not listening

or talking to one another.

And I think it's important that as much as possible to maintain dialogue between different

ways of thinking about things.

And as far as false news comes—or fake news—comes about, I'm familiar with fake news from

decades past, right?

Because the Soviets were masters of fake news!

And fake news can come from any source, and it's not just your side that's the source

of the good news.

It's both sides that can put out fake news.

And so I think critical thinking involves not being totally vested in one side or another

but being able to step back and be dispassionate and not be quite so emotional about the things

you might hear in the news that are built to push your emotional buttons.

Aman ep. 16 - What Happened When I Cold-Called Companies | The Great Grad Job Hunt - Duration: 4:11.

Hi everybody!

Welcome back to the channel, you're watching The Great Grad Job Hunt, another episode with

me, Aman.

And today's video I'm going to tell you guys a bit about an alternative way I went about

looking for jobs and contacting companies.

So, he other day, I tried something different in my approach, while searching for jobs.

Usually, I'd be browsing job advertising sites, or looking at vacancies online, or

I'd justbe subscribed to email alerts, and just wait for the next email to come through.

But instead, I got on the internet, and I did a bit of reserch, and compiled a listed

a list of 10 consulting firms, small-medium sized firms and I chose 5 local ones, and

5 within central London, and I decided to just to ring them up.

So, I essentially went cold calling

And I decided to chose small sized firms as with it comes a level of intimacy and it felt

a bit more personal – and I guess that it gives me a good chance to sort of introduce

myself and let the company know a little bit about myself, and they could get to know me,

as opposed if I'm applying online, or blindly emailing in CVs to larger companies, where

I'd just be another number of many others that are doing the same thing .

So, having rung up the 10 firms, I got quite a mixed set of results.

So a few of the firms said that the person in charge of recruitment wasn't in and that

I had call back later, or to leave my email address.

One phone line was disconnected – two kept going to answerphone.

So it was quite a mixed bag.

And, one of the companies was actually a mobile number and the person who answered was actually

talking very quietly and inconspicuously and they didn't even have a website – so I

steered clear of that one afterwards.

But, something that I did find particularly surprising was that some of the smaller, family

run local independent firms, they appeared to be more professional and knowledgeable,

compared to one or two of the medium sized, city firms I called.

And, they seemed to have a lot more knowledge of all the processes within the company and

various opportunities that were available to graduates/prospective employees/interns

and so on.

Whereas, one of the larger firms, that I called, or medium sized city firm should I say, they

honestly didn't have much idea about what schemes or programmes were available to graduates

or interns or even work experience and that did come as a bit of a surprise.

So I guess I learned from that you shouldn't really think less of a smaller, local or an

independent company, compared to a medium sized city one.

And, another one of the city firms that I called was just blunt and downright rude to

me and told me to go and read their website for the job that I was asking about and the

website didn't really have much information on it anyway.

So that was interesting,

Also, with one of the local run firms, I actually managed to speak to the director of the company,

who answered the phone and he sort of gave a mini-interview on the spot, regarding my

experience, my degree, my work history and what not – and that seemed to go well as

it appeared to like me and asked me to send my CV over.

So in my eyes, that went quite well.

And just earlier today I recieve a phonecall from a company I'd rung before and they told

me that the internships had all been taken but they did ask me a few questions and the

woman said she liked the sound of me on the phone and she said she may possible open up

another internship position for you if you are interested, so that defintiely was very

promising and this was just by making a phonecall.

Overall, I'd say it was quite an interesting experience ringing up firms – I know I personally

enjoy talking to people, so I guess I felt more comfortable in a way doing that as it

gave me a chance to show my personality and who I am.

Even though I did get a range of results, some promising, some not so promising – it

definitely is something I could recommend as at the end of the day, you have nothing

to lose phoning up a company.

The worse they could do is not answer, or put the phone down !

Anyway, that's all for today's video – thank you for watching and hope you all found it

helpful.

Please do make sure to subscribe to our channel, follow us on twitter, like us on facebook,

all that other great social media stuff and I look forward to seeing you guys all in the

next video.

Chuck Schumer Finally Admits The Truth, Says Democrats Must Blame Themselves For 2016 Loss - Duration: 4:12.

Something very odd has happened to the Democratic party in the last few days, and that odd thing

is they actually seem to be gaining a little bit of self awareness.

Senate minority leader Chuck Schumer gave an interview to the Washington Post recently

where he admitted that it wasn't James Comey's fault.

It wasn't the fault of the Russians.

It was the Democratic party's own fault, and that they needed to blame themselves for their

2016 presidential election losses.

He said when you lose to a candidate who only has a 40% approval rating, there is nobody

to blame but yourself.

He's absolutely right, obviously, but the question is why is Schumer finally understanding

what the rest of this country has been screaming since the election?

If you want to win, you've got to run on issues.

You can't simply run on the fact that you are not your opponent, which is what happened

in 2016, and that's one of the reasons we lost.

Democratic party only talked about issues 25% of the time.

Chuck Schumer either is finally understanding that or realized that he cannot continue to

be an effective leader, to gain new voters to the Democratic party unless he comes out

and publicly admits what most of us have been screaming about for eight months.

Now, in addition to Schumer's statement that the Democratic party needs to blame themselves,

the Democrats have actually crafted a new message that is far more populaced than anything

they have talked about in the last decade.

They say this coming election is going to be about jobs.

It's going to be about focusing on the middle class, talking to people, getting involved,

fighting back against Republican policies that are designed to hurt the poor and the

working class while helping only the one percent.

Now if that sounds familiar, it should, because that's exactly what Bernie Sanders has been

saying since the first day he came to the Senate.

Democrats finally understand, you know what, that's a winning message.

We see poll numbers.

We understand what's happening.

We finally understand why this guy, Bernie Sanders, is so damn popular, so we're going

to do that and come up with this new message.

Well that's great.

That's what we've been waiting for.

But there's a problem.

There's always a problem.

So far, it's just a message.

It's not a plan.

It's not a set of policy proposals.

It's just a new message.

Until the Democratic party steps up, balks at their corporate donors, stops taking their

money, start enacting some of the policies that they're out there saying they may want

to do, propose some legislation that actually helps workers, until then all of this is just

talking points.

That isn't good enough.

If the Democrats truly want to win in 2018, they have to basically do what they're already

talking about doing.

I know you can't get it passed, but you can propose it.

You can write it, you can sponsor it, you can introduce it, and then let the Republicans

take the fall for failing to pass it.

Have something that you can show voters and say look what I tried to do, but I couldn't

because of the Republicans.

We get rid of them, and this, this piece of legislation, whatever it is, will become a

reality.

That's how you win over voters.

Not with talking points, but with action, with evidence, with genuine concern proving

to them that you absolutely mean what you're telling them.

Until then, until you do that, you're going to continue losing.

So yeah! Let me get right into it. So the first thing I picked up was this really

cute floral embroidered bodycon dress, it makes my boobs look really big! (laughs)

It has like a sweetheart type of fit and it's super super short and tight and my

favorite thing about it was that it was stretchy and it has really long bell sleeves

The embroidery makes it look so on-trend it kinda has like that you know

boho retro vibe. Alright so then the next thing I picked out was this peach

bralette top. It's like a lace material it has a gold zipper in the back. I did not

like how this one fit on me, it made my cheechees aka boobs (laughs) look really

weird but if you have smaller--- a smaller bust, I think it will look really nice or

maybe just use a different kind of bra underneath. I didn't have on a bra by the way. Ok so now the

next thing that I picked out was this two-piece thing so I don't really like two

pieces because I'm working on my gut area and yes two pieces don't really go well with me

but I really like the color of it it's real pretty it's so Orange and it's a

really nice soft fabric. It has like a collar detail and also like this wrap type of

thing going on in front, I don't know if you guys see that. It's super cute I think it's

like perfect for going out like to a cute event. okay so the next thing I picked

out was this bodycon dress I love bodycons by the way it's a really nice nude

color. I got this one in the size medium It fit perfect but I

definitely need to work for that the shapewear because like I said, my

little tummy area wasn't hidden enough but it is super cute color and the

fit was just right. I also like the details in the front

It has the mesh cut out type of thing going on and a little small keyhole

at the top side. So I like this one a whole lot. Then the next one I picked out was a

very casual outfit this is really on trend it's like a skull and roses detail

tank top has like a faux suede string and you get this really cute

plunge neck and curved hem and the material was super nice. I paired

them with these nice distressed jeans. I love how they fit on my butt and it

does expose your side boob (laughs) So in the description box below I will

leave the links for where you can get all these things from. Once again everything

was from Charlotte Russe. If you like this video give a thumbs up so I know to make

more videos like this and thank you so much for watching I will see you in the

next video. Bye!

Ford Repair Irvine - Duration: 2:06.

Hi, Francisco, Francisco's Automotive.

I'm here to talk to you about Ford, Mustang in particular.

If you live in the city of Irvine and you need help with a Ford, you came to the right

place.

But right now, let me talk to you real quick about Ford Mustang.

Look at this my friend, look at this beautiful machine, 1967, immaculate!

And this thing is clean, fast, well put together.

I mean this is, look at it, 289, and then they went to the 2001 and the other one over

her, uh Mustang GT, another beautiful machine.

But let me show you my garden.

This is my garden.

Now, I'm here from 6:00 in the morning to about 6:30 at night and this gives me a lot

of peace.

I love my garden.

But let's go back to Ford.

I've been working on Ford since the 80's, Ford is one of the better companies, that

didn't take a bell out, they make the Ford Fusion, 35-40 miles a gallon, if you get the

right price on a twenty grand get the Ford Selma, get the- get the simple one.

F150, one of the best trucks made.

So anything that you need help with on Ford, give me a call.

Francisco, Francisco's Automotive, 714-375-2661.

Give me a call with any of your questions, on any automotive questions.

You want to buy a car, you're going to sell a car, I'm writing a book on how to buy a

car.

You're going to teach your daughter how to drive or your son?

Put them in a big parking lot, make them do a figure eight backwards, make them learn

how to handle that vehicle, it's very important.

Let me show you my shop on the right.

This is my shop.

I specialize in electrical and air conditioning, and it goes all the way back.

I've got a ten bay automotive repair shop so call me with any of your questions, 714-375-2661.

Thank you very much for watching the video.

Corvette Repair Newport Beach - Duration: 3:53.

Hi, Francisco, Francisco's Automotive.

If you're watching this video it's because you live in the city of Newport Beach and

you need help with General Motors, Corvette in particular.

I've got a couple of beautiful corvettes right here.

You've got a 2001 hardtop, 2001 convertible.

I'm going to talk to you about how important it is to do the fluids in all of your cars;

in particular, a Corvette.

Now, I'm going to talk to you about my shop and about Corvette, but let me show you my

garden first.

This is my garden.

Beautiful garden, I love my garden.

It gives me peace of mind.

I'm here between 6:30 in the morning and six o'clock at night, sometimes more, and this

gives me peace.

But enough about that, let me talk to you about my qualifications to work on your Corvette.

I specialize in electrical and air conditioning, I've been working on General Motors since

the 80's.

Let me show you some of the equipment.

This is called a Master Tech.

This is a General Motors scanner from the 90's, and then it evolved into a Tech-2.

Tech-2 is- it came out in 2000 to 2012, 2005.

Now, it's a laptop computer.

A lot of the new cars don't even have a plug to plug in one of these that we plug in.

A lot of the new cars don't even have that, they're going to be wireless.

This is a- a lot of shops you go to, they have a scanner, like a Snap On, I have one

too, but this is like a generic one, this one I use when the other ones are busy.

But I have dedicated scanners for General Motors.

Now, a lot of the data now a day's is held in the cloud.

We can do- we can can reprogram computers, we can refresh computers, we can do anything

any dealer can do.

And a lot of the information is kept in the Cloud, I don't know which cloud it is, but

a lot of it is.

So enough about that, I specialize in electrical and air conditioning.

You cannot do anything without electrical.

I mean you've got self driving cars, self parking cars, you have cars that open and

close their own doors, ABS, traction control- especially on a car like this!

Electrical controlled transmissions...

So let me show you my shop a little bit.

So if you live in the city of Newport Beach, it's right next door to us.

I can give you a ride, I can pick you up, I can rent you a car overnight if I need to.

This is my shop.

It goes all the way to the back, we're doing a little bit of clean up right now.

Like I said, I've been working on GM's since the 80's.

Why should you come to Francisco's Automotive?

I give a three year, 36,000 mile warranty on most of my work, I can pick you up, I can

drop you off, if I keep your car overnight I can give you a rental car at my expense.

So, if you've got any questions, any automotive questions, give me a call.

714-375-2661.

I'm writing a book on how to buy a car.

If you're going to buy a car, if you're going to sell a car, god forbid you get in an accident

or somebody you know gets in an accident, I can refer you to a body shop.

You can't just take your car anywhere.

And I don't recommend you take it to where your insurance company sends you because they're

working for the insurance company.

So, any questions on any automobile, please give me a call.

Again, my phone number is 714-375-2661.

I've got three daughters, I can fix anything except a broken heart.

I stole that from one of my friends, Scotty.

Thank you for watching the video.

Learning to Drive & Pass a Road Test is "Not A Spectator Sport" | You must practice to be successful - Duration: 5:48.

Hi there smart drivers. Rick with Smart Drive Test talking to you today about my

absence in the last week. And I do sincerely apologize in not letting you

know sooner. As some of you may or may not know, I have a rental property on

Vancouver Island and I went down there, sort of as a working holiday, to get the

place ready for a new tenant as the last tenant had left. And I learned that the

last tenants did a runner in the middle of the night and left me with mountains

of crap. To the point where I filled a 40 cubic yard bin. So unfortunately the

YouTube channel has not been answering comments in the last week. So I promise

you that today I will get to all of the comments and answer those for you. And I do

apologize for that. Now there's a relationship between my mistake with the

tenancy and being a landlord and driving. That both of those things are like so

many things in life. When we're learning how to do something it's experiential. In

other words, we have to do it before we're good at it. And one of the things I

learned about being a landlord is that you don't rent to anybody who doesn't

have a credit rating because if they don't have a credit rating and they're

not gonna take care of a credit rating, they're not gonna take care of your

property. And I learned a few other things as well, but it's the same thing

with driving. And in the past little while, I've had smart drivers ask me

questions about how much do they turn the steering wheel when they're going

around the corner. And every time, with those people, I respond to them and I

move them back a little bit in terms of their learning. [LOOKING AT COMMENTS] hey Manny Manny is the

boss. How are you this morning. So what I do with those students is I move them

back a little bit to the fundamentals of learning. And the fundamentals of

learning to drive a motor car are working the primary controls and have a

good control over the primary controls: the steering wheel, the brake, and the

throttle. And for those of you driving a manual transmission

obviously the clutch. You have to go to a parking lot or to a closed

circuit area and you have to work in a parking lot with those primary

controls before you can get to a point where you can figure out how far you

have to turn the steering wheel to go around corner. Because I cannot tell you

how far to turn the steering wheel to go around the corner because it every corner is

going to be slightly different. And because every corner is slightly

different, driving becomes dynamic. And how far you turn the steering wheel is

going to be experiential. You're gonna have to do it to learn how to do it. And

the only way to do that is to go and get some of those 36 inch, one meter tall,

pylons, and go to a parking lot and work with the primary controls. And move the

vehicle around and actually--you know--be a bit aggressive with the primary

controls. Crank the steering wheel all the way to the right and all

the way to the left and see how far it goes. Back up hard, hit the brake hard,

throttle hard. Do all those things and and that's going to help you learn

how to drive. It's kind of like my tenancy - you're gonna make mistakes and

that's how we learn how to drive is by making mistakes. It's the same thing with

my tenancy. Unless I did it, people could explain to me until the

cows came home about how to be a landlord, but until I actually do it,

you're not going to be good at it. And it's the same thing with driving, you

have to do it to learn how to be good at it. So, as I said, I will get to all the comments and

questions today. I'm back and I'm going to put a very concerted effort into that.

[READING COMMENTS] Miguel, rinwhr - hey guys. How's it going? So I'll answer all the comments today and get all

your questions. If you have any more comments or questions or I've missed

them, please just send me an email: rick@smartdrivetest.com and i will be

more than happy to answer your questions and comments. As well, congratulations to

all of the smart drivers in the last week who have passed their road test. That is a

great success... a huge hurdle that you've overcome. And your put the time and effort

to pass. And I really appreciate you letting us know here at Smart Drive Test,

because it's really the reason that I do this, is to help smart drivers to pass a road

test and be successful in you know getting some freedom, if you're getting

your car license--your passenger vehicle license. And for those of you getting a

commercial license, starting a career as a truck or bus driver. And that's why we

do that here,. So I'll get to the comments. Again I'll say that and if you have any

comments or I've missed you by all means leave me an email: rick@smartdrivetest.com

and I'll be sure to get back to you and help you out with that. As

well, I'll start getting some videos up again this week

and try and catch up on that task as well. And if you have any video

suggestions that you want, just put them in the comments and I'll be sure to try

and get those done for you as well. I have another dashcam from Auto Vox that

I'm going to do an unboxing and it has a rear-facing dashcam and it has a backup

camera. So I've got to hook it in to the car because you've got to wire it into

the reverse lights to get the backup camera to work. So I'm excited about that

and doing the unboxing for you. And I'll get those videos for you available and

we'll see how it goes and hopefully I'll have another great product for you that

you can put on your older vehicle and get yourself a backup camera. So that's

one of the other things that I'm working on for you in terms of bringing you new

automotive technology and whatnot, and helping all of us to be better drivers.

So I'm gonna go and start working on the comments here. Have a great day! Good luck

on your road tests. And remember, pick the best answer not necessarily the right

answer. Bye now.

your number will be one down.

I'm number 11 now. They said that this year, number 11 is lucky.

Okay.

You will get new clothes and we will start.

Go ahead.

Girls, over here. Come and choose your size.

Look and see if it's your size.

If you picked, then come sign here.

Look at the sizes.

Sign your name.

Look carefully and thoroughly.

What is your size?

Check the sizes before going.

Check the size.

You like snatching other's things

I think that it's in your nature.

Oh, sorry.

But if you mean this shirt,

then go ahead and take it.

But if you mean a man

it will be harder.

Because he

came and see me himself.

What happened?

Why do you have to push me?

Why did you push her?

It's...

I didn't mean it.

There might be scars.

-Let me see. -Scars?!

You can't have scars.

Where is it?

Let me look at your scars. I made you fall, I'll take responsibility.

There are no scars.

And no need to take responsibility.

It was an accident.

So was it an accident or intentional?

I misunderstood.

Right now, I am okay.

Okay. You're okay, that's good.

Girls, get your shirt and go back home. Why are you all looking?

Come, I'll help.

I've got deceived by you before,

I won't let it be a second time.

-

Yes.

Fah, what is it?

Let's talk at home, Fah.

Okay. I'm at the bathrooms. Hurry and come then.

How did you get it?

It fell out so I picked it up.

Wait.

Did you read it yet?

You should thank me, not ask questions.

Did you read it?

No, I didn't.

Why? Is there something?

P'Praewprae.

Thank you for picking it.

Let's go.

-Poo. -You. I'm shocked.

-I'll take you. -No.

You, stay away from me. Others will see.

Why will you care?

I'm not your secretary anymore.

What other status will you use against me?

The manager of the competition?

Why haven't you leave yet?

Khun Grace.

I'm sorry. I thought that you

Whoever, forget it.

If you're going to be Miss Perfect,

don't be manner-less like this.

I'm sorry.

I will be careful.

You need to be careful

because I still don't trust you.

Yes.

Hurry and say it.

Such a good encouragement.

You are really an adorable mother.

Say it quietly, Fah.

Hurry up and say it.

It's more of your problem.

You don't feel anything?

That Dao gets to be in the competition?

Because their is no Jieb to help her. She won't go far.

No. I don't believe it.

Nang Dao is very good.

She can do everything.

-Therefore, we can't let it go. -Then what?

How can I chase her out?

There's the working team and managers..

I'm not stupid to defy the rules.

You are really following the rules, P'Praew.

But...

have you forgotten something?

That they also forbid people who have a husband and children.

Nang Fah.

If you help me with Dao,

I won't talk about this anymore.

Okay?

Khun Poot looks familiar.

Have we seen him before?

At the beauty pageant you won.

Sailboat ride with barbecue in Paraty - Sailboat Radu part 2 (s01e09) - Duration: 9:55.

In this episode...

We released the moorings and motor-sailed around in Paraty.

I learn a new knot! Dri drives the boat!

We have a barbecue on board.

And we take the road home.

[Yawning]

Wow, I'm sleepy!

Ah... Dri's still sleeping.

I think I'll get up...

Let me see how the weather is.

Wow, what a sun!

Now I'm going to get ready, wash my face and see how things are out there.

Good morning people. I just woke up here. As you may have seen.

The day is very beautiful today. It's already heating up.

Now we're going to have breakfast and soon we should go out to...

...go to some little island or s beach in the area.

Rolezinho!

Look at the Júnior turning the autopilot on, people!

Later we're going to go to this beach here.

Saco do Bom Jardim ("Good Garden Bag").

Here it says the next turn that it will do?

Yep.

"Turn right in 100 meters."

Here I was trying to make a knot that Junior had taught me.

Look at the encouragement of my beloved, dearest Adriana.

What a mess.

It's the first one, right darling.

Yes, you can. Turn!

So is it right?

It's right.

Does the wheel never end?

It ends.

Ended up!

Come back now, come back!

Keep coming...

Turn fast!

Line up there.

Passed, now you correct.

Everybody wants to see, you...

...navigating.

A little more.

Calm! I'm going slowly. I am perfect acceleration, João, you know!

She takes the car and changes the clutch to leave with the car,

like, she changes it and the clutch must change with precision, you know. It can not be over accelerating.

It has to be perfect!

Mine is perfect.

Perfect.

Junior:Make a performance.

JP:Underwater dancing. Oh !!!

Dri:Come, my dear!

Let's jump!

Those like that, right?

Wow, how strange to jump in the water without diving equipment!

Wow! It's very strange, right?

Dri:It's very strange to fall into the water like this, deep, without diving equipment.

Wow, what is this Adriana?

You're doing a flip here, Some "twist" turn.

Júnior asked us to see if the water entrance under the sailboat had any barnacles.

And there I am! Coming back from another mission completed, with the knife in my teeth!

Junior:What a delight, people!

Look here! Wait, I'm going to give a little lift for you to see.

JP:Look there!

I do not know if you like...

...I think this sausage here, my friend, it's gonna be awesome!

Look, it's coming at you there.

There on your right, Dri! It went between you... it got scared away.

I thought it was transparent... But he is not.

It is the color of water.

It looks transparent.

Preparing to leave, from here... from where we were anchored.

Attentive! Attentive!

Marina 188.

Sailboat Atent... Sailboat Radú calling.

Dri:[laughs] Sailboat Attentive!

Radio:Positive. This is marina 188. Confirm channel 10?

Confirm channel 10.

So what do I say?

Junior:We request support for mooring, we're already at the edge of the marina.

We request support for mooring, we're already at the edge of the marina.

Radio:Go on Radú.

Go on Radú?

Dri:Follow Radu. Speak, speak, repeat!

We ask for mooring support.

Okay. I ask you to wait five minutes because Rafael is giving support here on a... boat.

Junior:Okay.

Okay, over.

Radio:Okay, I'll return to the 16th, over and out.

Junior:16, speak up.

16!

Dri:Ah, boy!

Lot's of adrenaline!

Just like on the planes now comes one of the most tense parts...

...and most dangerous of riding on a sailboat. Is to enter the marina, with restricted space

and having to do mooring maneuvers.

Even more that you will have to park your sailboat in reverse!

Look that! Pay attention and see how it is

complicated and how laborious it is to enter in reverse.

You have to have lots of ability!

Dri:Put it in reverse.

The mooring was a success!

We helped Júnior and Débora enter their parking space throwing the cables on the pier and...

...pushing the neighboring boats.

Then we covered Radú with all the bonnet.

Lots of wooork!
