BATMAN ROM For Galaxy S7 and S7 edge - Duration: 8:44.

Hey what's up guys, I've got many requests to try batman ROM which I'm using right now

as my daily driver and I believe this ROM is one of the best choices among all other

Ported ROMs , Shark jungle is here and I'm gonna make a full review on this ROM , The

review is 7 parts I highly recommend to watch all of it , you can use the time line in the

video description to reach any part easily, Now let's get started

Installation Enter recovery mode

Make sure to do a nandroid backup after making a backup go to wipe then swipe

to factory reset now go to install and select batman ROM file

then swipe to flash , It will launch the Aroma installer

Follow the screen instruction and choose what ever you want carefully

-choose bat kernel which is great kernel -for snap-chat users make sure to select magisk

for root -If you want to do modifications to the user

interface make sure to select modded UI. -you can update your bootloader and modem

if you want -now choose all the Apps you want to remove

before starting the installation process -Finish the installation and reboot system

-the boot animation should show up and if it didn't then you will have to update your

bootloader, tutorial link is in the video description.

-Performance in this ROM is very Good and I believe this kernel is the best kernel for

galaxy S8 ported ROMs , it's very fast and stable , no heat at all compared to other

kernels Multi tasking is snappy and fast , you can

switch between Apps very fast and have them running in the background without any problem

,Antutu score is 121k which is not very far from the Stock firmware score

Sensors I have no complaint about the sensors, All

of them responding nicely without any bugged sensor,

GPS antenna Cached 3D fix while indoor in less than 30 seconds and the accuracy reached

20 feet which is fantastic for navigation.

Battery Life Battery Life will vary from user to another

according to screen brightness , using wifi or 4G and the frequent APPs you are running.

According to my usage while connected to WIFI I've got 4 hours SOT ,you will got less if

you are connected to 4G or playing high graphics games , the st-by time is good ,but keep in

mind that all ported ROMs are not as good as Stock based ROMs in battery life so keep

in mind the pros and cons

Gaming performance is awesome , I've never seen any abnormal lags or felt any abnormal

heat, Every thing running very smooth and fluid.

Features -This ROM is A full S8 port so you gonna have

all S8 features on your device and I'm not gonna waste your time talking about those

features cause I already mentioned them on my previous reviews so If this is your first

time to know about those feature , then you should watch my previous review

This ROM has batman settings App which will give you the ability to do a lot of customization

to your system UI on the App welcome screen you can find donation

links so If you like the ROM , you can support the developers

ROM download links is here too and some other useful links

System UI settings Battery features like , battery bar , Stock

battery visibility and you can change its color , 3 minit battery is available if you

like it Clock and date adjustments , using 3 minit

clock or using batman App settings to do the customization you want

WIFI and signal icon position enable 4g instead of lte

choose custom icon which is very cool feature Some lock screen settings like

enable rotation show next alarm

unlock with fingerprint without waking up the screen first

Some cool stuff for recent panel like showing the RAM bar

and Matrix animation is available too

You can change the behavior of volume button as you want from this page

Recents and back hardware buttons long press adjustments but options are limited

Network traffic meter preferences which is always a good feature to have on any custom

ROM

Status bar colorizing , you can use global color or you can choose unique color for every

icon You have 3 virtual buttons.

power , home and recent you can assign any virtual button in only

one position and those buttons are on the top of the screen(left, right and center)

dynamic status bar and I think batman ROM is the only ported ROM that has this option.

data usage to appear or hide in the notification panel

and some misc settings in this page

Phone settings to enable automatic call recording and it's working without any problem

Framework preferences for power menu options and it has all the options you gonna need

Notification panel has some cool adjustments like

quick pull down from right side enable or disable heads up notifications which

is quite annoying sometimes blur effect is also a cool feature

you can change all notification panel colors from this page but it's very annoying cause

you have to reboot system UI every time after any adjustments

another cool feature which is the GIF animation in notification area

there are 5 animation to choose from you can change notification area background

with image or color gradients display device information in the notification

area and customize its colors and choose your favorite items

enable carrier label with custom text and custom color

reboot menu button on the top left of the screen

App shortcuts for magisk , viper 4 android OTA updater and busy box

Now to the camera and the coolest thing here is that face stickers are 100 working and

I believe this is the first ported ROM got this feature to work but make sure to flash

the face stickers zip file in recovery .

Bugs -I can admit that the ROM developer TkkG1994

and his team have done great work and I appreciate their efforts to give us a great ROM without

bugs and I highly recommend to try this ROM and use it as a daily driver

I hope I covered everything you want to know bout this ROM.

If you like the video plz don't forget the like button and subscribe to my channel stay

tuned for my next review , Thank you for watching , Peace.

How to lose fat by cycling your carbohydrates - Duration: 5:40.

hey guys it's Kevin Kreider more than just muscle in this video I want to

share with you on how to carb cycle

I want to say first of all I do not promote carb cycling unless you're an

advanced athlete and you're going to plan on doing this temporarily for a

short period of time the reason why you want to do a short period of time is

because I used to do advanced strategies like this to get that extra edge this is

not going to solve your fat loss problems or you're bulking problems this

is just a short-term solution a band-aid if you will to put over the problem so

you don't to deal with the later for a marathon runner or a different type of

athlete in that case there are carb cycling techniques you can do to help

your performance but it's only short-term you're going to suck at life

for a little bit

more about promoting a good sustainable lifestyle something you can maintain and

do consistently and grow on and continuously grow and get better as your

journey your life goes on because if you want to do this short-term yeah that

could work but the thing is what's going to end up happening and what happened to

me at least is that I look really awesome for a very short period of time

it was so hard to sustain that I developed eating disorders bulimia a

little bit of body dysmorphic disorder which is when you look at your body

you're like oh my god doing fad you know you're you know that

friend that says that right that overly excessively works on many the

cheeseburger look but when you do that and you're like shut the hell up you

know like you look right and really in my mind I thought it was looking worse

than I was looking bad and that's a body dysmorphic disorder you have a

disillusioned image of yourself and it's not healthy and I would only recommend

this if you're around like 10% you want to get down to that extra edge like 8%

temporarily and this is how people do it nutritionists or sports nutritionist or

people who are fitness experts the first thing you want to do is figure out your

caloric intake and you want to figure out your low-carb days your low-carb

days are going to be most of those days you're going to be a very low carb what

you're going to do is multiply your body weight times 11 this is a very

aggressive number by the way guys 30 35 % of your daily intake is going to be

from protein 50 percent of your daily intake from the calories from that

calculation are going to come from fat and the rest of this can be from carbs

so it's very low carbs like 15 20 % of your daily intake is going to be from

carbohydrates that's most of the days and then what you're going to do is find

and strategize one or two days that you're going to have a really high

intake of carbs and it's usually once a week that you're going to plan that out

or once every 14 days oh and by the way on those low-carb days that you're going

to do the only time you really going to eat those carbohydrates that 50% of your

daily intake of carbohydrates it's a post-workout the reason why you

want to do that is because you're more insulin sensitive your body will use and

absorb the carbs like sponge afterwards so it's not turning

into fat or less likely to turn the fat afterwards and your low-calorie anyway

so the likelihood is pretty pretty low pick up that one day of carbs that you

want to just basically carb feed what you want to do next is multiply the body

weight times 11 which so look for example if you're two hundred pound male

multiplied by eleven and that's about 420 200 calories now on the carb refeed

day you're going to multiply back same body weight by three and I believe

that's around six thousand six hundred calories I'm just going off at the top

of my head what you've been going to do wrap your protein down so it's going to

be about 20% of the 6006 on your calories is going to come from protein

then 60% of that daily caloric intake is going to be from carbohydrates and then

20% of that daily caloric intake it's going to be from that very high

carbohydrate day it's going to be strategic I'd really recommend you doing

this on a day you're still training like I said so your insulin sensitive and the

carbs are more likely to become stored as fuel not as fat and have the bulk of

the carbohydrates carbohydrates pre and post-workout this is not part of that

80/20 principle that I follow that 80% of the results you're going to get are

going to come from 20% of the things that you do this is advanced this is

only if you're trying to be elite this is not if you're above 10% body fat

that's my recommendation recommend actually calorie cycling if you're going

to do this I have that in my programs and I'll post that video below to

calorie cycling is just much more flexible it's not as aggressive and it

doesn't burn your willpower out and just exhaust you and make you think too much

I hope that answered your question the only reason I did this video is because

a fan asked hey can you do a video on calorie cycling so I did it if you guys

want to see more videos just write in the comment box like it if you don't

like it and don't like it but write in the comment box I'll try to get to all

the videos as soon as possible and guys please subscribe to my youtube channel

just shows that you really like this content and I really want to give this

to you so just subscribe show some love and also you can take the body design

tool it's a free survey to take and it will

guide you to a customized workout program designed for you based off the

questions you answer thanks a lot guys and I'll see you next week

NO ARTICLE: GENERALLY SPEAKING - Duration: 5:43.

hi !today we'll talk about no article because generally we can guess where to

put definite article, where to put indefinite article but when not to put

article? that is the question !so today I'm going to show you. articles are there

to help us understand what we are talking about exactly and if we use

indefinite articles it means that we're talking about something abstract or

something general and when we use definite article it means that we're

talking about something specific .the absence of article - zero article is the

case of talking about something in general. so here are layers of talking

about things generally. the first layer is indefinite article that we use when

we talk about things in general, and when we talk about something for the first

time. and it is used with countable singular nouns like a dog a car a tree a

person . next layer is when we talk about countable nouns that are plural. here we

do not need an article dogs are lovely. women deserve equal rights. banks are

closed on Mondays. vegetables are good for you

so, plural countable nouns - no article. if you are talking about specific pack of

dogs you can say the dogs were angry, like those dogs who bit your ass or

like in a recipe take, the vegetables and put them into the broth so you're

probably have some vegetables listed in the recipe and now you're supposed to

move on with them so you're talking about specific vegetables - plural

vegetables. but they are specific so here we'll need definite articles - this

is a different case, when we talk about things generally - no article . next is

uncountable nouns and also when we talk about them generally . uncountable

nouns are very big block of nouns so let's get into specifics. let's take

materials and substances and abstract nouns. so

when we talk generally about these uncountable nouns as materials or

substances they will not have any article and let me give you an example

of how we can generally speak about them. there's a saying - blood is thicker than

water. and as little tasks you can google what it

means but here blood is not a specific blood - we don't say human blood and

animal blood whatever blood. we don't we don't specify whose blood we're talking

about. so it's just the concept of blood but in a sentence like : they took the

blood from him. when we start to specify and have, and realize the origin of the

blood there will be a definite article. when the material starts to get some

type of origin, when we know where it's from not in a general sense . or I don't

like coffee but the coffee was terrible. so I don't

like coffee in general but that specific coffee was terrible - still a substance

but in the first example I talk about it generally in the second example I

talk about specific coffee. and abstract nouns - things like love, beauty

hope, hate, weather ,strength. also when we generally talk about the concept of the

thing - no article. like in the phrase"fine whether friends" for every person the

definition fine is different so it's just a concept. yeah ,but the weather was

fine - means the specific weather in the specific day was fine hence we need

an article. or a very simple example I like listening to music

and the music was loud. in the first example we talk about general music not

specific music. I like listening to music and then the second example specific

music is loud, so we need a definite article and it's still an uncountable

abstract noun. so let's sum up :when we talk about things in general we either

use a definite article in cases of singular countable nouns like a

dog and we don't use any article when we talk about plural countable nouns like

dogs and friends and people and when we have uncountable nouns like materials

abstract nouns and many many other things. but ! here's a list of things that

you just have to remember not to put an article before them : names

towns, cities, countries, unless we talk about the government specifications like

the United States - the states need an article not America. America doesn't need an

article. Lakes, islands, continents mountanes, planets , sports games and meals.

so no the before breakfast . so I hope it was helpful and interesting

I hope I'm back. yeah and don't be sad. what? yeah, so thank you for watching

subscribe to my channel you are not a subscriber and yeah I'll see you in my

next video. bye!

Case Study: When My Business Failed - Duration: 4:57.

Hi. Lee Phillips.

I'm an attorney.

Yeah, you knew that.

That's okay you'll get over it.

I want to talk to you for a minute about

the possible bankruptcy of your small company.

And I'm going to tell you a story.

It's a personal story.

It's my story

everybody's got one

and it was many years ago

a bunch of guys came to me and said, "Hey we're experts in this.

"Phillips, you finance the company,

we'll run it,

we've done it for decades, we know how to do it, absolutely

no problem

we can make a ton of money

you just put up this money you're the silent investor."

And so I did that.

I knew these people for a long time.

I knew they'd operated their company.

Should work.

I was pretty hands-off for about six/eight months.

Then they came to me and they wanted more money.

And I said wait a minute

why do we need more money?

You're supposed to be making a ton of money.

And I started to look into it.

The real short story is

is these idiots hadn't even kept the checking accounts.

They'd thrown the checking account statements away

and this is before the day when you could get everything online

and go back 60 years

We didn't have any bank records.

We didn't know anything.

and I started to look at it

and they were really under water.

They owed the printers

they owed, you know, everybody in their book

for money, the services that they had provided.

And it was my name that was on the line.

I could put more money in,

a little bit more money, not a lot.

So I fired everybody

and I had some disgruntled employees at that point

and they called the IRS on me

and the IRS came in and did their six-week audit,

it actually took a week in the office.

They found five or six hundred bucks,

but it was just harassment.

And I had a bunch of creditors.

What do I do with them?

Well I could put the more money in and try and make it work myself

but supposedly the experts haven't been able to make it work.

So what I did is I went to each one of the creditors.

I went to the printer. I went to the all the suppliers

I went to everybody and I said look

we've paid you on time

we've done everything right for eight months

our company is going south

I can put a little more money in and try and make it work

or I can pay you 30 cents on the dollar that we owe you.

if you made good profit on us so far, hopefully that will cover your base cost

you won't lose money, but you won't make any on this round."

And without exception

every one of the dozen or so people that I went to

gave my story

said we've never had anybody come to us and say, This is the situation,

what do you want me to do?

I could declare bankruptcy.

The bankruptcy attorneys would eat twenty cents of the thirty cents I was offering them

and they knew that

and at any rate they were just happy as a clam to take the 30 cents on the dollar

and without exception they said, "Phillips,

we will work with you again any time.

One condition

and that is you're really going out of business.

You're not going to just go down the street and start over again next week

and screw somebody else."

"Nope nope nope

We're closing this one down.

We're through with it."

And I have worked with a number of those people over the years

and they have continued to tell me

that they've never had anybody come to them and say

"This is what the situation is,

how can we work it out?"

Rather than going bankruptcy

along that line.

I found it much better to go to the creditors and try and work it out with them

and they knew business,

they've been in business.

They've seen lots of people be in business.

Businesses don't work.

The question is can I honorably shut the business down

even though I'm underwater?

And the answer to me is, yeah you probably can

and I hate to say this,

but if you can keep the lawyers out of it,

everybody's going to get more money, period.

So how you handle it, up to you.

Just a thought.

My story on shutting a business down and trying to deal with the creditors.

Stan Collymore gives verdict on Chelsea transfer plans following squad reshuffle - Duration: 2:42.

Stan Collymore gives verdict on Chelsea transfer plans following squad reshuffle

Stan Collymore gives verdict on Chelsea transfer plans following squad reshuffle STAN COLLYMORE has hailed Chelsea's transfer business this summer. Chelsea boss Antonio Conte has splashed the cash this summer.

The Blues snapped up Alvaro Morata from Real Madrid last week having missed out on Romelu Lukaku to Manchester United.

Prior to the Spanish target man's arrival, Antonio Conte also secured the services of Antonio Rudiger from Roma and Tiemoue Bakayoko from Monaco. More signings are expected, but Collymore insists Chelsea have already made some savvy acquisitions.

He told The Mirror: "Morata is a very good signing and the addition of him, Rudiger and Bakayoko means Chelsea have done some good business this summer.

"I have to say that Im actually finding my opinion of the Blues, as a whole, is changing for the better. "If you look at the work technical director Michael Emenalo and Conte have done between them, its pretty impressive.

"They have got their business done in good time and have got players at the right times.".

Chelsea boss Antonio Conte Despite the fresh faces at Stamford Bridge, some fringe players have been moved on. Chelsea have offloaded Nathan Ake to Bournemouth for £20m.

Kurt Zouma has joined Stoke on loan, Ruben Loftus-Cheek will spend the season at Crystal Palace and Dominic Solanke has opted to move to Liverpool.

Although there has been an exodus of young stars, Collymore has defended Chelsea's strategy. He added: "Their academy is working well and, while they could do better in promoting players to the first team, they are at least producing players.

"If someone else gets the benefit, then it is tough luck on Chelsea for not blooding them.".

Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp offers transfer update on Lazar Markovic - Duration: 2:03.

Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp offers transfer update on Lazar Markovic

Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp offers transfer update on Lazar Markovic LIVERPOOL boss Jurgen Klopp says he wont stop Lazar Markovic from leaving the club. Lazar Markovic looks set to leave Liverpool.

Markovic, 23, joined the Reds from Benfica for £20m in 2014. However he has failed to make much of an impact on Merseyside, scoring just three goals in 34 appearances.

The Serbia international has spent most of his time with the club away from Anfield, on loan at Fenerbahce, Sporting Lisbon and most recently Hull. Markovic still has two years left to run on his Liverpool contract.

But Klopp has confirmed they are ready to offload the forward this summer.

He told the Liverpool Echo: "With Lazar, it's no secret that if he finds a club then we will negotiate. It was like this last year too. "He's a really good player. I like him as a person.

Jurgen Klopp wants to sell Lazar Markovic.

He's now fit and another one who is in the best shape since I've known him. Before he had problems with his groin but now he's good. There will be a club out there who needs him.".

Cesc Fabregas admits Alvaro Morata will be under pressure at Chelsea next season - Duration: 2:05.

Cesc Fabregas admits Alvaro Morata will be under pressure at Chelsea next season

The Spaniard, 24, will be expected to replace Diego Costa at Stamford Bridge as the Blues' top scorer from last season is set to head for the exit door in the coming weeks.

And Fabregas, 30, admits Morata won't have much time to adjust to the demands of the Premier League.

He says the striker, along with last year's summer signing Michy Batshuayi, are going to have to improve quickly to get Chelsea firing in all competitions. Alvaro Morata is set to lead the line for Chelsea next season.

"They are two young strikers who will have to improve as quickly as possible because they are our main strikers," said Fabregas.

"When you are the main striker for Chelsea you need to fight for all the competitions and if you are going to fight for all competitions you need your strikers to score lots of goals.

"That's why I'm saying they are taking this challenge and they will be under pressure.

"When you're the striker of a top team this is what you live with and they will have to cope with it. "I've always had a good understanding with him (Morata) to be honest.

"He's always been a striker with a little bit of everything. He has a lot of potential, the same as Michy Batshuayi to improve. It's up to them how far they want to go.".

Alexis Sanchez: Paris St-Germain propose player-plus-cash deal for Arsenal star - report - Duration: 2:32.

Alexis Sanchez: Paris St-Germain propose player-plus-cash deal for Arsenal star - report

Sanchez, 28, is currently the subject of much transfer speculation. He has just 12 months left to run on his £140,000-a-week Arsenal contract.

And the Chile superstar is currently stalling on a bumper new deal worth around £1m-a-month. PSG are desperate to take him to the French capital.

But Arsene Wenger remains adamant Sanchez is going nowhere this summer. However, according to France Football journalist Nabil Djellit, they are hoping to change his mind with a player-plus-cash offer.

He claims the French giants are willing to include either Lucas Moura or Blaise Matuidi in a deal for Sanchez. PSG has proposed players to Arsenal in the Sanchez deal (Lucas or Blaise Matuidi), tweeted Djellit.

The Chilean was not in Paris on Friday. Lucas, 24, made 53 appearances in all competitions for PSG last season, bagging 19 goals along the way.

Matuidi meanwhile, was a regular at the heart of their midfield but the Frenchmans future in Paris remains up in the air with his contract set to expire next summer. PSG are trying to sign Alexis Sanchez.

It remains to be seen whether the prospect of landing either Lucas or Matuidi will tempt Wenger into parting company with Sanchez.

My mind has been made up for a while now, he said, when quizzed on the former Barcelona mans future last week.

I think Ive made it clear a few times that he is not for sale and this is my stance.  .

Lionel Messi wants Barcelona to sign Marco Verratti… but Neymar demands Philippe Coutinho - Duration: 2:26.

Lionel Messi wants Barcelona to sign Marco Verratti… but Neymar demands Philippe Coutinho

Barca desperately need reinforcements in the middle of the park. Andres Iniesta, 33, didn't perform consistently last season and suffered several injury setbacks.

The 2010 World Cup hero has been a stalwart of the team - but looks to be on the slide. Influential Barca superstar Messi wants Verratti to be drafted in.

(as his replacement) The Italy international has been a standout performer for Paris St-Germain since joining the club from Pescara in 2012. However, PSG are cash rich and have so far refused to entertain selling their prized asset.

Lionel Messi wants Barcelona to sign Marco Verratti.

Spanish news outlet Don Balon say Messi believes Verratti would adapt better to Barca's playing style better than Coutinho. Messi is also reportedly concerned that Coutinho's arrival could create a Brazilian clique in the dressing room.

Neymar and Coutinho are close pals from the Brazil national team. And it's suggested Barca's pursuit of Coutinho could be designed to keep Neymar happy after the 25-year-old emerged as a top target for PSG.

Spanish daily Sport claim Barca have launched a final offensive for the Liverpool star and club officials are currently in London.  New Barca boss Ernesto Valverde have had a tough summer in the transfer market.

The Catalans have only snapped up Gerard Deulofeu from Everton for around £10m and Nelson Semedo for £30m from Benfica.

Barcelona chiefs in London for Philippe Coutinho talks: Liverpool want £89.5m - report - Duration: 2:35.

Barcelona chiefs in London for Philippe Coutinho talks: Liverpool want £89.5m - report

Barcelona chiefs in London for Philippe Coutinho talks: Liverpool want £89.5m - report BARCELONA have launched a final offensive to sign Philippe Coutinho from Liverpool, it has been claimed in Spain.

Coutinho, 25, has long been linked with a move to the Nou Camp. And the Spanish giants appear to have stepped up their interest over the past week.

Sport claim Barca already have representatives in London and negotiations are moving forward. But the Reds are unsurprisingly determined to keep hold of their star man.

Coutinho committed his future to Anfield until 2022 in January, penning a new five-year contract worth around £8m a year. And, according to Sport, Liverpool have slapped an £89.5m price tag on the Brazilian playmaker.

But Barca reportedly believe they can land Coutinho for around £72m, especially if he pushes for a move. Sport say they would also need him to accept a lower basic salary with the potential to earn more through performance related bonuses.

Nou Camp chiefs are said to be keen to sign Coutinho to appease his international team-mate Neymar, who is currently being linked with a world-record move away from Catalonia. Liverpool value Philippe Coutinho at £89.

Sport also credit Paris St-Germain with interest in securing his signature but they claim the former Inter Milan man has his heart set on joining Barca.

He made 36 appearances in all competitions for Liverpool last season, scoring 14 goals and assisting nine in the process.

Let's Chat: Ready-to-wear vs. Me Made - Duration: 9:43.

Guys are simple stitches and scenes. Thanks for coming back and today. We have a bit of a

different thing going on

I'm actually in Carrizo Springs, Texas. It's not too far from the border of Mexico

my husband

had a work thing and

So I came with him um

So while he's off doing his tests on this flying and stuff like that

I'm here at the hotel room, and I thought you know what?

I'd like to talk to you guys about some things, so that's what I'm doing

so the Topic is

recently

someone made a posted in regard to

selling vloggers and bloggers that

make a whole bunch of makes are kind of in the same boat as

Ready-To-Wear unethical Fashion Producers

and

um that kind of I

Don't know I guess to be frank it kind of ticked me off a little bit I

Didn't you know I didn't respond because that's just asami

so

But I wasn't thinking about it

And I thought you know what she this person doesn't know who I am this person doesn't know anything

So I'm not going to get riled up about um

You know her opinion?

But I did

Think about that for a while because this is back

Shortly after a fashion revolution week if you don't know what that is google it. It's something that you should know about

um

so anyway, she made that comment, and I just got to thinking about it and

You know it, just it bugged me and so I thought I would talk to you guys about it kind of see what your thoughts

Were on the subject now?

I

Saw for myself, but I've only recently started sewing for myself

I mean I've been sewing for a lot of years, but I've never had a me made wardrobe

And I never really I never I don't know I just never thought about making one

so obviously my my

Wardrobe is kind of small

and so you know I'm a lot of makes to

To do to get you know not clothes to wear because I want to get rid of the ready-To-wear stuff

that's still spinning or

unflattering

excusing

so I do I made quite a few things and I so for my husband and I so so for our three children and

I so for other family members brothers nieces nephews

And I also so for a friend's so that's it's a fair few

bit of people and then I so for and I

Absolutely, enjoy it wouldn't change it for the world

So in my kind of Month-To-month

Breakdown I do make quite a few things

I

Think about my average is probably like nine nine to ten items a month

This month in and june. I've kind of been

because I've been sick haven't been feeling well because of my

Autoimmune disorder disease that I have I just haven't been feeling well

And so I haven't had really the energy or whatever and then I got a cold on top of it

But I'm going down right at home. So anyway this these past two months. I haven't made I haven't done

What's typical for me which is several quite a bit of makes now

So when I'm building, I'm building my wardrobe, and I'm trying to build their wardrobes

So that's essentially five ord robes that I'm trying to build

And it's not going to be done

anytime soon

so

There's that there's you know maybe that person just really likes clothes a lot

maybe they

enjoy having a

large selection of things that they've made maybe they have

various

Roles that they kind of fill in their life. Maybe they're a mom. Maybe they also work outside of the home

Maybe they sew for family or friends. Whatever. It doesn't matter

It's how they choose to spend their time and their money and it's really not up to anybody else to kind of

Put a stamp on it. I guess and say if this is bad because you make too many things a month and

Another thing to think about is - does this person who made this comment. No or her fabric comes from I?

Don't know where mine comes from not all the time

Now I know that there are fabric companies

who

designers companies who are putting that information on

their fabric or in you know in their stores type of thing where they're saying this fabric was produced here in an ethical fashion by

fair Paid

workers

And that's fantastic. I wouldn't mind purchasing that fabric if I find it and I could afford it um

Let's see but I you know that's that's another thing to consider does this person, then that I don't know that

She does I know I don't know where all my fabric comes from because sometimes I buy off ebay

Sometimes I buy off of etsy and those people don't

Necessarily know where that fabric came from so you know I mean that's like a little hole

Just kind of a round Robin going round and round

but

anyway, that's

So I so for a lot of people. I don't have a large wardrobe. I don't know where my fabric comes from neither does she

She doesn't have the right to tell someone

Or make that blanket statement that the people who sew a lot

are wrong

now there's other bloggers and vloggers that I know that they make a lot of items and

They don't keep everything

Some of them have etsy shops

So where they've made a whole bunch of things well

You know they'll put it on the blog take photos and put it in their video

Or what have you and then they put it on their essays shop too, so that's there's nothing wrong with that

In fact that's smart you know because guess what you're blogging blogging

Maybe that's a source of income for that person so they have to make a lot of items to kind of keep up

With you know the pace of demand of the people who are reading and watching

and

Then there's others who maybe their fashion designers. Maybe they work for fashion designers, or they're turning out makes?

So it's kind of like I

Don't know. I don't know and just I guess just really pissed me off

so

There I mean that's kind of

Where I'm at. I mean so like what do you think do you think that the person makes 17 things in a month? That's wrong

Do you think that kind of puts them on the level of Ready-To-wear?

Maybelline call makers

And I know what ready-to-wear companies that you know

turn out

so much stuff, so

What do you think do you think that's the case or do you think that this person probably should?

not

Make like in statements like that

How do you how do you feel about how do you feel about what you make a month?

Do you think you make too much you think you make too little do you think you are?

On Par with ready-To-wear company. I know I'm not I mean

I make a lot of stuff, but there's no way that I could keep up with Ready-To-wear

companies

So yeah, I'm just kind of interested in what you think about that

so leave me comment below and let's kind of have a conversation about this so that's it for this week, and

I'll be back at you guys and on something else. Thanks for watching take care if you like this video

Go ahead and like and please do comment because I really would I

Really would like to hear what you think and?

I have a discussion about that and if you haven't

Already go ahead and subscribe and also. Thank you to all the new subscribers. It's so great to have you guys here and

Assist me take care guys bye

Faces of Fighting - Gilmar Oliveira - Duration: 17:43.

My name's Gilmar Oliveira, I'm 39 years old.

I've been competing since I was 19.

I live in the city of Gama, Brasília, in the Federal District.

I like doing jiu-jitsu.

Everything I do, I try to master.

I intend on doing it up until God allows me.

Actually, I wasn't looking for jiu-jitsu,

I knew very little about it.

I was looking for boxing at the gym,

and I saw a jiu-jitsu class.

I liked it and decided to try it.

At that time, people had a very backward perception of this sport,

also of Vale Tudo fighting.

They thought it was only about punching.

There was a lot of prejudice.

I'd hear jokes that we were grabbing each other,

Silly things like that.

I started competing 3 months after I'd started to train.

I've always been very competitive,

There were athletes at my gym whom I thought of highly.

They weren't even high ranked yet,

at that time there weren't many of those.

The guy who was surprising on the mat, was a purple belt.

We were dazzled by his game.

I thought to myself: "I wanna be like him, I wanna get there."

It's a pity, because he's still my friend,

but he stopped at purple belt... and I continued.

He could've had a longer journey.

I saw it as my purpose, though.

I think that's how students see me today,

"I want to be like this guy."

It's how students see other top athletes.

Athletes admire a bit of each.

I get a lot of compliments on my game,

from people I don't know,

who aren't even from my academy.

I feel very good when it happens,

because the same admiration I had towards my purple belt friend,

today athletes have towards me,

even black belt athletes.

It's very important.

I like it.

I like the adrenaline when you step on the mat,

with someone you don't know,

or with a guy who you know is a good competitor.

I enjoy this feeling.

Once, at an Abu Dhabi qualifier in São Paulo,

I fought a guy to whom I practically had to

show my ID,

very nice guy, we became friends after.

It was last year and he couldn't believe I was 38.

He was complaining that he was 31, fighting in the adults category.

I told him he still had a lot in front of him.

I feel good fighting both in the Adults and Masters.

I've fought only a few times in Masters, I still fight more in Adults.

You always have something to learn, even at local competitions.

You shouldn't discredit anyone.

At times, someone you've never seen before surprises you.

This happens a lot.

I exposed my foot at this competition.

I did something very silly, a white belt mistake.

Not to belittle any white belts,

but I couldn't work for three months,

neither give classes.

It complicated my life a bit.

I was fighting this guy who I know, he's from Ribeiro.

I was already winning 12-0,

If I'm not wrong, there were 15 seconds left in that fight,

I had a rear naked choke locked in,

but he's very strong, kept holding my arms, defended very well.

What I wanted was to submit him.

When I crossed my legs to get a better squeeze,

he took the opportunity to throw himself to the back,

and I ended up breaking my tibia.

I shouldn't have done that because it was simply arrogant of me.

Even though I was winning the fight, I wanted to finish him.

Even if I'd let him come after me, he wouldn't have caught up on points.

He apologized to me later but it happens in fights,

I don't hold any grudge,

I like him a lot, he's a very nice guy.

That's it.

I've already had some difficulties in doing guard,

until the middle of my time at purple belt,

so I started to police myself:

"If I want to be a complete guy, I need to learn both",

because most of the guys at my weight category, over 100kg, don't do it.

Maybe very tall guys with long legs do,

but shorter guys like me, who are 1,80m, don't do guard.

I look to do it.

I usually surprise opponents in my weight class,

because I pull guard.

When I see too much standing and nobody's pulling guard, I go for it.

I'm considered fast for my weight.

Many people have told me that.

So I'm always ready.

I want to surprise, not to be surprised,

so whatever the guy does, I'm prepared for.

I think the majority of competitors are like that.

If I fight a guy and see fire in his eyes,

I know he's up to something.

If I notice he's a judoka, I take it to the ground,

because I know he's got a good base.

I'm not very good at takedowns.

I do have some aces up my sleeve,

but I won't stay on the feet with a great judo fighter.

<< Gilmar Oliveira plays from the open guard,

due to his flexibility.

With all that strength, he's able to put his foot behind his head.

He's very explosive and flexible.

When we noticed it, I told him not to do closed guard,

and play open guard.

I advised him to do closed guard only to finish guys,

and that's what he does.

I remember a competition where his opponent asked me:

"Professor Piezi, do you only teach Gilmar to take the back and submit?"

I replied: "Isn't that good?"

<< I've never seen a light roll with Professor Gilmar

and I don't know it.

Sometimes I see him playing around with white belts,

and I think to myself: "I wish I were this white belt"

because I've never experienced that.

He's never out of shape and I think that's exceptional.

He was born genetically gifted to do jiu-jitsu,

because he works a lot as a security guard,

so, unlike others, he doesn't have much time to train,

but competes like a professional.

<< Many top athletes who know Gilmar's potential,

meet us at events such as the Brazilian Nationals,

they always ask: "Where's Gilmar?"

We explain the difficulties he's got.

He works, has family, children...

If an athlete wants to go on this path of competitions,

and become a professional,

He needs to have this freedom to

travel, compete every weekend,

He needs to get sponsors,

because it's expensive.

So, unfortunately sometimes he's stuck,

managing his situation at work, training, family and children.

I think this is Gilmar's biggest difficulty today.

<< I work as a security guard.

It's brought me some good things and good friends,

who admire me and somehow found videos of my fights.

It was a very good thing for me,

because I've gotten many new students through that.

Now I have a group of doctors who train with me.

It's a private training.

All of this started here from my work,

but until that moment no one had really known about it.

I was known only for what I do here, at the hospital.

I didn't talk about what I did as an athlete.

I was discrete about it as I don't like talking about myself.

I don't have a sponsor,

I used to have one.

I do it because I love the sport.

I pay out of my own pocket.

Sometimes the doctors who train with me help me.

I don't work out very much,

basically, I don't work out.

When I have some time, I run here and there,

or do some working out in the street.

I'm not much for gyms,

I don't go to the gym.

Thank God I have friends in many places.

This really makes a difference in my life.

I'm welcomed wherever I go.

Many friends invite me to their academies.

This makes a difference because I get a lot of different training.

I think the old graduation system should come back,

where your instructor looks at you and analyzes you.

I think there should be this differentiation.

If an older guy doesn't want to compete,

he's at the academy only because he enjoys training,

let's see how we can evaluate his progress slowly,

He'll never be a top athlete.

At least for the ones who wanna compete,

they should be evaluated by the instructor,

not by how long they spend in each belt.

<< When Gilmar enters the fight zone,

we all go in with him.

This makes us very happy.

It makes the academy work better.

Students push themselves harder,

especially the ones who like competing,

If there were a doll of Gilmar, they would all want one.

<< What I see often and try to talk about it with some beginners,

is the ambition to be better than you.

They can become better than you but it takes time.

Sometimes they come at you and end up injuring you.

I tell them to be patient and go slowly,

and teach them some things.

Everything gets better that way.

I always try to help my training partners.

If I see they're doing something wrong,

I finish them and then point out where they made the mistake:

"You have to improve this or that, your position was wrong."

I work in this way with guys whom I even don't know.

I'm used to helping people.

There are some who say: "Man, you are so strong!"

but they forget that you can also be a technical guy,

because if it were only strength... I grapple with guys who are as strong as a horse.

When I fight in the ultra heavy category, I'm usually one of the smallest fighters.

When they talk too much about my strength,

for a guy who basically doesn't work out,

It makes me wonder if anyone recognizes my technique...

My dream is to one day get up on the podium with my son next to me,

for me to be there, cheering for him in his corner,

later he'd be in my corner supporting me,

for me to go there, give him a hug and put a medal on his chest.

My daughter Leticia admires me too,

She says to people that her father is good.

I can tell she's proud of me,

but when I tell her to train a little with her brother, she doesn't want to,

very rarely she does.

I hope it will change,

because if she wants to, this dream would be our trio.

The three of us on the mat,

the three of us on the podium.

<< I'm a fan of your dad!

<< My son, Nícolas, is still very little, he's only seven,

but I really want to see him one day fighting in the Adults

I'll be in Masters, I don't know which number...

but I'll be there fighting.

Science and Art # 1 - The portrait of Lavoisier made by Jacques-Louis David (1788) - Duration: 5:27.

Have you stopped to think how much science and history of science you can learn

from artistic works?

In 1788, on the eve of the French Revolution, the painter Jacques-Louis David delivered a portrait

of the French chemist Lavoisier and his wife, Marie-Anne Lavoisier.

It's currently considered one of the most important portraits of the eighteenth century, but it has been

forgotten for more than 100 years.

It was made in oil on canvas and has the dimensions of 259.7 x 194.6 cm. (102 1/4 x 76 5/8 in.)

Among other works, the painter Jacques-Louis David is also known for:

The Oath of the Horatii (1784),

The death of Socrates (1787),

The death of Marat (1793),

and also by various representations of Napoleon.

David was one of the main representatives of the artistic movement called neoclassicism,

and the portrait of Lavoisier presents aspects very characteristic of this period: as

the simplicity, the harmony and the purity of the forms.

In the portrait, the couple wear noble but at the same time very sober clothes, a clear

opposition to the ornaments and decorations exaggerated and quite common in the previous artistic periods,

like rococo and baroque.

Apparently David did not want to emphasize the wealth and assets of the couple, but

rather for what they represented from the scientific point of view, and for this very reason he purposely distributes

by painting a series of scientific instruments that were crucial

for the work of Lavoisier, as well as being a great way to explore his technique,

since it is possible to clearly distinguish metallic parts, water, mercury

and glass (in which it is even possible to observe a reflection of a window and other room

furniture).

It is worth remembering that at the time the painting was painted in 1788, Lavoisier was

at the peak of his achievements, being recognized for his public service, his work in

Parisian urban planning, his work in the economy and also in agriculture

According to a receipt dated 16 December 1788,

Lavoisier paid a total of £ 7,000 for David's painting, a value corresponding, 1996, to

$ 280,000, higher than that paid to the painters of King.

In addition, at the time of the painting, Lavoisier was preparing to publish the work

that would define him as the leading chemist of his day: Elementary Treatise of Chemistry (Elements of Chemistry),

and it is precisely in the manuscript of that book that Lavoisier seems to be working.

The chemical instruments represented appear to have been chronologically

placed in the scene, beginning with: 1) an aerometer (or hydrometer), used for

measuring the density of liquids, which Lavoisier began to use in 1763.

2) Balloon for collection and weighing of gases, 3) An old model of gasometer, to collect

gases using mercury, adopted in 1774. 4) And a Pneumatic Instrument.

For Lavoisier's position, David may have been inspired by Johannes Tangena's

depiction of Descartes between 1650-1652.

However, it is quite interesting that Lavoisier's wife, Marie-Anne,

takes the lead role in the painting.

It was not common in France for full-length portraits of couples, especially with the featured

woman.

Marie-Anne is standing, well lit, in the center of the picture, with mysterious eyes turned

to the audience, while Lavoisier finds himself in shadowy parts, with an admiring look

on his wife.

Some historians point out that this is due to the important role of Madame Lavoisier

in the works of her husband and that she also lent herself to the role of muse inspiring David, who

was her drawing teacher.

The neoclassical style of David therefore influenced the artistic works of Marie-Anne.

In some representations of her laboratory work it is possible to see some of these

influences, such as the common neoclassical symmetry, the harmony, the theatricality of the scene,

and how to portray the husband in heroic poses.

Marie-Anne was also responsible for illustrating the Elementary Treatise of Chemistry,

and in the portrait, David made a point of putting a

folder in the background where possibly these drawings are.

According to some historians, the picture was exposed briefly in the Hall of Painting and

Sculpture of the Academy of Fine Arts in Paris,

but with the Storming of the Bastille on 14 July 1789, which marks

the beginning of the French Revolution, the director of the Salon asked Lavoisier to withdraw it,

after all the success of the couple could attract attention from the looks of the rebellious.

In the place, the picture Paris and Helena, also of David was placed and that brings all the elements

that we comment on the neoclassicism.

Thus, the portrait remained in the hands of heirs of Lavoisier

until 1924, when it was bought by John D.

Rockefeller and taken to the United States.

It's currently exhibited at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York.

If you plan to go to New York one day, do not forget to see this work of art

and it has a lot to do with science!
