somebody once said that "Everybody should go on an adventure"

It doesn't matter if it is big or small

goes to plan or does not at all

As long as it takes you out of your comfort zone and you experience something new.

So this is the story of my greatest adventure so far

Let's start at the beginning I hope you enjoy it as much as me

It is the tallest mountain in the UK

and we're gonna climb it!

the mountain at the other side of the country

it is a long drive so we will stop at different places along on the way

but that means we will have to leave really early

right so I thought it would be fun to stop here

It is a place called 'Colemere' I use to run around the lake here

Tommy was sleeping in the car so this will wake him up

we have to get changed

he is stripping in public!

We did film our run but you will find out later why I don't have the footage anymore.

So instead just try and imagine us running around this beautiful lake.

We are done now so back to Curtis after the run.

Just having a quick break and then we are going to meet my old school friends.

Tommy has never met them before

It is going to be an experience for me

let's see if they actually like me

So with that we set off to my old boarding school and my friends were there to meet us.

Being here brought back a lot of good memories and also a strange sense of nostalgia

it felt like no time had passed which is really good

we had a great time with my friends

before we knew it it was time to say goodbye!

And then just as we were leaving I realised

We had lost my GoPro Hero 4

I am worried about the footage we had on there and it is an expensive camera

and we don't know where it could be because

we have checked everywhere

I don't understand how we lost it

he is right we did check everywhere, I went into all the shops and gave them my phone number

I said if you find a GoPro give me a call

I've had no calls so someone must have stolen it

Quick update: we carried on searching but we couldn't find the GoPro

so we went to the supermarket and bought some meat

and we are going to have a BBQ!

because we spent so long searching for the GoPro we were very late

so we had to get to the campsite as soon as possible

that is a nice view, look at that!

yay!

so this torch is very special because it's not just a torch

well it is a torch as well

But you can hit people with the other side, so if someone attacks us

yeah exactly

you wouldn't want Tommy to hit you, unless he did that

get away from me! And then I knock myself out...

One day into the trip we're relaxing by a beautiful lake halfway up the country

not everything has gone right so far but I think that's all part of the adventure!

we have got to get up early tomorrow as it is time to climb Ben Nevis!

so it is another early start this morning it is 4:30am

I didn't sleep very well last night because we pitched the tent on a hill

which I think was a bad idea because no one else has put their tent near us

the nearest tent to us is over there

but they put it so they are sleeping down the hill

we're sleeping sideways down the hill

we had a five-hour journey ahead of us so we packed up the tent and jumped in the car and left.

so we have stopped at a services

I found a McDonald's

yes we found our first McDonald's!

the first Mcdonald's I have found all this trip

I want a mc muffin meal!

yeah!

yes it is great

so when I was in there I really needed some batteries for my microphone

they are really weird batteries, hardly anywhere has them

so I asked if they did and the only batteries they had were the ones I wanted!

they were really cheap as well because they couldn't sell them!

that is so good!

So I have got some batteries for the microphone now

we are going to drive the rest of the 140 miles. We will see you there!

so we've made it

we are just getting ready and changed into warm stuff

it's about 12am now we were meant to get here at 10am

It takes about eight hours to climb at the mountain

which means we are either get down here at 8pm or do the steeper path

I think we should do the steeper path.

right so that is where we were meant to be 'The Visitor Centre'

you follow the path all the way up there

but we've ended up here at the the youth hostel

This is slightly steeper

we're going to go all the way up and then obviously up the mountain

one of the guys said it is about another 20 minutes

we are seeing snow and it is really cold

my hands are red

it is actually quite comfy Rock

he is crazy and dehydrated

he is going a little bit insane

we have been seeing all these at the top

We are not going to balance some rocks!

it is all about perspective, because that is further away

as we were walking down the mountain I remember feeling a great sense of pride

that we had achieved the challenge that we set out to do and we'd done it together.

NEWSMAN Jon Snow has been given a dressing down by TV bosses over a foul-mouthed anti-Tory song at Glastonbury.

The veteran presenter, 69, sparked resignation calls after he was accused of chanting "F*** the Tories" by a festival-goer last weekend before posing for a photo on Twitter.

TV newsman Jon Snow has been given a dressing down following claims he chanted f*** the Tories at Glastonbury festival. Days later a guest on Channel 4 News claimed that Snow called him a bell-end after an on-air clash over bias.

Station chiefs confirmed Snow has been warned about his future conduct. A spokesman told The Sun: "Jon has been ­spoken to and reminded of his responsibilities around due impartiality.".

The journalist's antics at Worthy Farm were documented by Twitter user Danny Millea, who posted a photo of him posing with revellers which went viral.

Snow failed to deny the claims, saying in a statement that he had "no recollection" of what was sung.

But Tory MP Andrew Bridgen said his chants were a sackable offence, adding: "I think it's time Channel 4 told Jon Snow where to go. And former Tory minister Rob Wilson said he now had "no credibility for impartiality".

The presenter was angry guest Matt Kilcoyne (left) referenced the storm over his alleged chanting at Glastonbury.

My name's Abi, I'm 19 years old, and I really like to hike and backpack.

I really started seriously hiking when I joined a girl scout hiking group in the 6th grade.

Through them, I started backpacking in the 7th or 8th grade and I ha've been hooked since then.

A lot of hiking and backpacking is a mental game of knowing what your limits are and pushing

those limits is a really rewarding experience.

I really have to go out and hike and just be in nature just to kinda center myself again

and find an escape from crazy responsibilities and stresses of everyday life.

In a way, it kind of grounds me.

There's no extra noise.

It's just so calm.

My favorite thing about hiking and backpacking is probably all the really cool places I get to visit

There are so many different trails to hike and places to go and things to see.

You can't even see everything in a lifetime.

I've learned so many things from backpacking.

You definitely have to figure out how to roll with the punches and figure out what you can

deal with and when you need to turn around and what the best way to handle stressful situations is

I had to learn how to work with other people that I've never met before and how to coexist with them.

I've also learned a lot about myself and my abilities.

It's really hard to imagine who I'd be without hiking and backpacking.

It's honestly one of the things I love the most.

Meditation is an ancient practice done by people worldwide, of all cultures and religions,

and of all ages.

Meditation is a conscious practice that aids relaxation, mindfulness, and focus.

Numerous studies in medicine and psychology have shown how mediation lowers stress levels

and improves all-round health.

Ailments such as high blood pressure, migraines, insomnia and obesity can be greatly managed

� and in many cases completely eliminated � by practicing meditation techniques on

a daily basis.

The emotional and spiritual benefits are just as sound.

Those who meditate are more conscientious and at peace in their work and relationships.

Practising mindfulness can improve your decision making, grow your confidence levels, make

handling stressful situations more manageable, and give you a stronger sense of self.

Now isn�t this what every woman needs?

The role of a woman is all encompassing.

The female energy is known for its nurturing nature and sensitivity to other�s needs.

This often means we are juggling multiple responsibilities and commitments: family,

work, friends, and personal needs.

Fulfilling these roles with satisfaction requires strength and inner peace, and meditation can

help with that!

What are Mantras?

Mantras � which can also be referred to as hymns, affirmations or chants � are a

collection of words, or sometimes a single word, that hold psychological and spiritual

weight.

Words have incredible power.

Our thoughts are often words that are not spoken out loud, yet they influence our lives

completely.

We are all familiar with this reality.

We tell ourselves that the presentation we are dreading at work is going to be disastrous,

build up the negative anticipation in our minds, and then beat ourselves up when our

thoughts manifest and things don�t turn out well.

Mantras can help rewire this sort of thinking by replacing the negative affirmations with

positive ones.

As in the example above, imagine what the result would be if instead of fearing the

day ahead, you looked in the mirror and proclaimed �I am focused.

I exude confidence and positive energy!�

Even if anxiety started creeping up again later, you could simply breathe and repeat

your mantra as many times as you like or need.

The manifestation of these positive �thoughts� � said out loud � is extremely powerful!

Mantras for Women

You can practise these mantras anytime, anywhere.

There are no hard and fast rules to follow, so don�t worry too much about the ceremony

of it all.

With that said, it does help a lot if you create your own ritual, preferably one that

can be performed under any circumstances.

You may have a talisman, like your favourite ring, and every time you see it or touch it

would act as a reminder to say your mantra.

Seeing your reflection or setting alarms on your phone can act as reminders too.

Be creative!

You can also create your own mantras if you like.

Here are some powerful mantras to implement into your routine, for women from all walks

of life:

For Mothers: �I am strong.

My love is enough.�

It is always incredible to see a mother giving her all to her family, and still feeling that

she isn�t doing enough.

This mantra sets it straight: your love and all you do for your family is more than enough.

Take time out of your day to reflect on how strong you truly are.

You brought life into this world, and care for your child or children like nobody else

can.

You know how fierce you are.

You know you would do anything for your family.

During Pregnancy: �I am a bearer of life.

I was made for this joy.�

As wonderful as pregnancy is, it can be quite overwhelming too.

Your whole world suddenly changes � from your diet and lifestyle, to your relationship

and your body.

Let us not even get started on the thoughts of upcoming labour!

Yet, worry is the last thing you and your growing baby need.

Use this mantra to remind yourself that your body and your feminine energy, was meant to

revel in the beauty of pregnancy.

For Work and Studies: �Keep moving!

Progress is my reward.�

The great thing about this mantra is that it focuses on what progress means to you.

You may not always get the recognition you deserve at work or school, and projects won�t

usually run as smoothly as you want them to, but that doesn�t matter when you feel good

about your efforts.

Yours is the only praise you need, and the only yardstick you should ever measure by.

In Love and Relationships: �I attract love and honesty.

I am worthy of all that is good.�

You can use this mantra whether you are single or in a relationship.

The law of attraction is a very real thing.

If you send out signals that you are desperate for love and will settle for a relationship

even if it is toxic, that�s what you are going to find!

On the other hand, if you have love and respect for yourself, this is the energy you will

project.

Romantic interests will see your self-worth, and reciprocate it.

The exact same is true for your relationship.

Partners often blame one another for relationship problems, concentrating too much on what their

partner does wrong and what their partner should do right.

Rather focus your thoughts on being the best you can be, and radiate an aura of warmth

and openness.

Your partner�s response to this energy will be enigmatic.

Confidence and Health: �My body is my temple � I embrace it and nurture it.�

Unfortunately, we aren�t always as kind to our bodies as we need to be.

This is especially true for women.

We can be overly critical and harsh towards ourselves if our appearances do not conform

to the standards set by the media.

Every women has the right to accept her body as is this current moment: not when you lose

or gain weight, not when you straighten or curl your hair, but just as you are, right

this moment.

When you can do that, you tap into a much purer and deeper energy.

It is this energy that will drive you to care for your body, both inside and outside, exactly

as you deserve.

On a final note, feel free to have as many mantras as you like, and use them accordingly.

You may want to try to memorize some mantras at first.

This way you won�t feel stuck, and you will always have some go-to meditations that work

immediately.

Explorers and Natives – Canadian History #1 - Duration: 3:26.

We should start things off by me telling you that I'm no historian. I might get

things wrong, or I might embellish some facts. So let's treat this as if we're

friends meeting at the bar telling war stories. That being said any

fact-checking that you do have, please leave them down in the comments below.

Somebody once told me that Canadian history is almost the exact opposite of

America. Whereas in America people were coming here to settle the New World, or

to escape persecution, Canada was seen as an obstacle. Something to get around

or get past. Early settlers really didn't want to be here. These were just outposts

for a larger Empire. Well, I mean, maybe the Vikings did – whose remains have been

found in Newfoundland – but for the most part people were either coming here for

the fish, or to try and find the fastest route to India. Now, of course, there was

already people here. Aboriginals had existed here in Canada for centuries

before European explorers decided to show up. And there was this great array

of customs, art, and language. In fact on the west coast of present-day British

Columbia, in a very small area there were so many distinct languages that you could

go a couple of miles and not be able to communicate with someone at all. And I

will refrain from making the obvious Newfoundland joke here. The main

countries that were sending explorers to Canada were England and France. And

luckily there's been no conflict since! The third group that was just devastated

because of this European exploration was the native population. Which I don't want

to make it sound like all it was was love and peace here before Europeans

showed up. That certainly was not the case, but the native way of life was

definitely in for a rude awakening. There are different estimates about how many

natives were here before Europeans arrived. But the fact remains that their

societies were decimated because of disease and war. Their economies and their

way of life were left shattered. The two explorers we're going to focus on right

now are John Cabot and Jacques Cartier and they– What was that, Pierre? How did Canada

get its name? I guess I have time to tell that story. That's right, I talk to

beavers! Canada's named the way it is because of an accident. Cartier

misunderstood what his native guide was trying to tell him. Kanata – that word –

means village, or maybe more precisely a collection of houses. Cartier understood

that to mean the entire land and I mean back in those days once you've written

something in quill and ink... I mean you can't control+z that! Cartier would go

on to discover present-day Montreal, which was then just a large native

village. But Cabot was here for the fish. Cod specifically. Cabot really did want

to try and find gold in this barren land but was struck by just how much fish was

off of the east coast. The legends say that you could take a bucket and scoop

the fish out of the ocean. This turned out to be a little bit more valuable

than gold, at least to England. Canada's beginning is a mixture of three

distinct nations: English, French, and Aboriginals. And within those Aboriginals

there are dozens of distinct nations themselves. It has been the friction

between those three nations, and the sometimes peacemaking, that has made this

country what it is. This is, of course, not an exhaustive list so let me know what

your favorite resources, books, articles, films, and other things down in the

BREAKING: Federal Judge DESTROYS Anti-Trump California With EPIC Ruling | Top Stories Today - Duration: 3:08.

In the United States, we have a Constitution that governs all that we do.

The Anti-Trump Californians just got a cold, hard lesson from a federal judge about what

it means to follow the Constitution and be an American!

California — which is OVERFLOWING with Democrat/SJW types — recently passed a law that made

owning what they call a "high-capacity ammunition magazine" illegal.

U.S. District Judge Roger Benitez issued an interjection on the law, claiming that the

law is unconstitutional, according to The Sacramento Bee.

People should be allowed to use whatever magazine size they see fit for their situation!

We find it insulting that the Dems in this state are up to their old tricks of trying

to strongarm everyone into submission.

The problem with their state of mind?

It's purely delusional.

The Left has NO moral superiority, so why should they get a say in what everyone ELSE

does with their guns and/or gun accessories?

The law in question prevents people from owning magazines for their weapons that carry more

than ten bullets at once.

Benitez's interjection reads, "The State of California's desire to criminalize simple

possession of a firearm magazine able to hold more than ten rounds is precisely the type

of policy choice that the Constitution takes off the table."

It's nice to see someone stick it to these California Dems who think the world owes them

something.

They all walk around with their noses in the air — blissfully unaware that they're

hurting the people they swear they want to save from themselves.

Left-wing nutjobs have been doing harm to this country for a long time, but it's really

amped up since President Trump made it into office.

The odds are, it's because they know he won't bow to them — the way Obama did.

Refreshing as it is to see someone stand up to the SJWs and get their laws knocked down

— this is only a temporary fix.

This law needs to be overturned, and taken off the books as soon as possible.

This is all a slippery slope attempt at gun control.

As you can imagine, some of the people who handed over their magazines did so reluctantly.

They're all waiting for a pending challenge that would stop this law cold, so they could

be free to use whatever magazine they see fit.

Even the sheriffs in California are speaking up about the horrible decision here.

One Shasta County Sheriff, Tom Bosenko, said, "We're not going to be knocking on anybody's

door looking for them."

Bosenko continued, " We're essentially making law-abiding citizens into criminals

with this new law."

The pushback from everyone in the area seems like more than enough proof that this isn't

what California really needs.

This state has already seen the rights of Conservative free speech stripped — among

other things.

We're hoping above all else that this law, and others like it, are SHOT down, and citizens

in the state, and the rest of the country, are free to practice their second Amendment

rights.
