Youtube daily report w Jul 26 2017

Well good morning good morning. Today we are coming to you from Supara Chunkurchak and

we are currently doing a luxury yurt stay which is pretty nice because we've been doing

a lot of outdoorsy stuff so it is nice to kind of like pamper ourselves. Yeah. As our

trip winds down.

Basically right at the end of our trip. And yeah we're just relaxing here. We have a amazing

views of the mountains. Yes, mountains, forests. Oh gosh. Haha.

And yeah um we've just been relaxing this morning and now it is time for breakfast.

Yeah, and after breakfast we'll be giving you a tour of the whole property so stay tuned

for that.

So off to breakfast we go and we have a whole bunch of yurts here that we're walking past.

We're staying in number five but they have so many. Look. More up there. Tada.

So where are we headed Sam? We are heading to the Mother Station. Check out that. That

is the Mother Yurt. The Mother Ship. Off we go. It is so cool.

Breakfast time. Breakfast. So I think I'm going to grab some lovely spread. Going in

for fruit first. Nuts. Jams.

Well? Well we had a bit of a buffet so there was a wide selection and I went for my favorite

- a big piece of bread and here they have mmm fresh churned cream. Good morning.

We have fresh churned cream and then Kyrgyz honey which is my favorite. Oh, that is the

best. It is so good. It has a bit of a floral taste. It is probably some of the best honey

I've ever tasted. Like it just has such a raw taste to it. Yeah, so this is what I start

every morning with bread, cream, honey. Haha.

Can't go wrong with that.

Mmmm.

Isn't that good? Mmmhmmm.

And over here I'm just starting off with a salad plate and some fruit and then I'm going

to move on to porridge and maybe a little bit of bread and maybe some cheese too but

definitely some of that cream and honey on that bread. Oh yeah.

Good morning good morning. So as you can see I'm out on a bit of a solo mission this morning.

I'm going to be hiking by myself.

Audrey is back at the yurt doing a little bit of work but man it is just such a nice

day outside that I couldn't stay in. I should be doing a little bit of work myself but I've

just decided to go out, do a little hike and see if I can get some really awesome views

of the mountains off in the distance.

Early on into the hike I've already got a couple of different path options. This one

appears to lead more into the woods. This one appears to lead out into the sun. And

it is already scorching hot so we are going to go this way.

This is my first peak out of the woods and I have to say already the views are looking

really impressive. Now if I can only get to an even higher vantage point I should get

a better view of the snow-capped mountains.

Time for another quick update here. And as you can see I've made it already a fare distance

because those white little specs you see off in the distance that is the yurt we are staying

in.

And this is the part where the path is getting a little bit tricky simply because there isn't

really much of one. It is sort of lightly defined but I'm kind of just winging it to

be perfectly honest.

So this is perfect. This is exactly where I wanted to go in terms of flying the drone.

And you can see as I'm zooming in here that if I fly over the trees here I should get

a really nice view of the mountain. That is the plan Stan.

Well, that was an extremely successful hike and I would say drone flight. My main goal

was to get the drone over that hill with a nice kind of tree and mountain reveal and

I think I was able to do just that so mission accomplished.

And finally. And finally we've made it inside the yurt. I had to change because it got so

hot. Like seriously summer is here. But anyways you are inside the yurt. This is like the

little entrance. You've got a place to put your keys, your bag. Hello. Haha.

You can hang up your jacket. You have a little shoe rack.

They actually gave us some umbrellas. I know. You know it is a fancy hotel when they provide

an umbrella and this shoe thing. I don't even know how to use it. Is that called a shoe

horn? Maybe or awl or something like that? Owl?

A shoe owl. Awl like awl like A W L. What?

I could be totally wrong. Totally wrong. Come on in.

So we'll show you the bedroom next. Okay.

I'm taking off my slippers. Shoes off. Shoes off. There we go.

And first up we've got a little wood burning stove but there is no way we are turning this

on. Haha.

We do not need this. Yeah. In July. If anything we would be turning on this. The AC. Yes.

Okay.

And they gave us a yurt that actually sleeps three people. So maybe like a couple and a

child. So I claimed the this bed. Yep. All to myself. Haha. You took the big one and

Sam got the little kid bed.

Right because that totally makes sense. Because you're it is not like you're smaller than

me right? No. No no no.

It is not like I'm the big guy.

What else? And yeah we've got like a little desk area where we've just thrown all of our

computer stuff and camera gear. Yeah, a bunch of junk.

And then there is some paintings and other things along here. Here is another one that

is kind of cool.

Very representative of Kyrgyzstan here. We have the yurts and we have the mountains in

the background and of course let's actually take a look up here.

I know. That is the best part. The best part. This is where you can tell it is a yurt. Yeah,

and everything is covered in felt like the ceiling and the walls and they also have cool

felt designs with camels. Yep.

And last year we actually attended a felt making workshop where we saw how they work

the wool and how they dye it and like turn it into cool shapes. Yep.

So yeah, it has been a really really nice room. I slept so well last night. It is so

dark in here. Oh, the other thing we didn't show was that okay there is a lamp here. I

thought we had a kettle somewhere. I moved the kettle. Oh you did okay.

Was it there before or am I just imagining things? Yeah.

So we'll take you to the next room now. It is a little brighter here.

I call this the sauna room. It is seriously probably like 10 degrees warmer than the bedroom.

Yeah.

Um but it is kind of like a little living room slash office. Yes. Slash kitchen. There

is the kettle. I'm not going crazy. Yeah.

Yeah, here is the kitchen. Well not a kitchen a fridge. Sorry not the kitchen the fridge.

They have a few things you can purchase um basically chocolates.

Kymys. Yes, they have kumis.

This is the fermented mare's milk. Yes, you can get that. This is basically the list of

all of the items and the prices in Som. Yeah.

And it would be nuts absolutely nuts if I didn't show you guys the views from here.

I know the views are amazing.

Absolutely incredible. We have floor to ceiling windows and you can see the mountains. Yeah.

The forest.

It is a little overcast. Earlier in the morning it was man the views were a lot more spectacular

but it is still incredible.

Yeah, and oh wait you know what we didn't show? What? We didn't show the bathroom.

Oh, the bathroom. Yes, the bathroom. Come along.

But I really like this room. I spent the whole morning in here just like working on my laptop.

Yep, and looking at the mountains. Exactly.

Okay, bathroom. Bathroom.

We have a sliding door. And I just love their doors. Like they've used tree branches kind

of like as handles which is awesome. Yep.

So I'm going to let you go in first since it is a small bathroom. It is pretty small

but it has everything. It has a blowdryer. A hair dryer. Blow dryer. Yeah, I guess that

is what it is called too. And then there is a sink and the toilet, the rack and then one

of these types of showers that opens from each the side and then here is the showerhead

and yeah. It is pretty cool.

I think this is the first yurt where we've had on own private bathroom. I know. This

is a fancy yurt. That is how you know it is luxury yurt. Yeah, all of the other yurts

we've slept in the toilet was an outhouse and you had to like walk there. Right.

A few meters in the dark with a flashlight. Where is the toilet? None of that in here.

No. We are this is like a glamping yurt or something. Oh yes.

So into the forest we go. Sam was already wandering around here in the morning with

his drone. Yep. That is right.

He must fly the drone. Must fly the drone. This is a little bit of a different area from

where I actually flew the drone. I came here first in the morning but it was a little bit

muddy so I went and did a different route which should be great this time of day.

So we've been doing our own independent walk but here on the property they actually offer

guided walks and you can also rent a horse and do a horse trek and actually the one thing

that we turned down you can drink kumis. Mare's milk. Fermented mare's milk. Not just once

a day but I think like three or five times a day. Yeah. LIke they have this program where

you just drink that during your whole stay. It is supposed to be a health program apparently.

Supposedly a health program but honestly I don't love the taste. It is a little bit like

salty and sour. So we said no thank you instead. We politely declined. Politely declined.

Dance me to the End of WHAT! - Duration: 8:32.

Ah Dada Dada Dada

Dada Da

Da

Doo doo yep?

I'm not going to win any prizes for my singing voice my humming voice or anything along those lines

Then again, I do live in a country where

Leonard Cohen won a Juno for his singing voice

(or for singing anyways, the performance) and

he was good enough to actually comment on that when he won his Juno award,

to the effect that "Only in Canada" would he win such an award.

Bless his soul

Whatever a soul might be. I mean his body is departed, we no longer will be getting new work from him. I don't see

the Bacteria of Decay

suddenly coming out with a compilation album, a big chorus of microbes

consuming his flesh going"Yay!

This last track!"

At the same time much of what he admitted in this world

both in the form of like, his little son, or I guess grown son, and

as his body of work, is still out there propagating.

At what point you actually separate someone's work from the artist?

Tthat's an interesting one because

It's reassuring to actually think about the fact, yeah, Leonard Cohen's still going

Probably outlive a lot of us, probably

the same way that Jhengis Khan's

DNA is still going around something like 16 million

male Siberian descendants they figured out, after they mapped the genome of the human species and

started looking at individual populations

And

at the same time it's important to be able to separate the artists from their work.

for myself the example would be

Axl Rose of Guns N' Roses.

I rather enjoy a lot of Axl Rose's vocal performances and the work of Guns and Roses collectively

But I don't think even to this day I would like to be locked in a small room with the fellow.

Maybe going through all the things he has,

Maturation,

after heroin, after being a big star and all that comes positive and negative with that,

maybe he's matured, but nonetheless there's part of me that just does not like that fellow

(not knowing him personally) ever since he showed up on stage at

Elton John's Memorial concert (***I meant FREDDY MERCURY'S memorial, WITH Elton John, oops)

high, drunk, whatever like, "Wow,

you get a chance to actually like, pay tribute and

that's what you pay tribute with?"

I've also screwed up myself that way

That's another point of the separation between a person

their individual moments and

their work.

Without having

moral frailty how could any artist like even pretend to have anything especially in the lyrical

aspects

to say about what it is to be human, to have some kind of commonality

"Yeah, I have no attachment whatsoever. No Connection with the rest of human race, but they loved my work. Don't they?"

That would be an album

It's a strange thing this idea of like the separation of the artist from the work

for myself at least goes back to a short story by Stephen King

Where a black woman who, uhm, presumably in the states,

with a Mulatto son who's a great writer

is

explaining the odd story of how that son came to be and

that basically,

(so I don't remember it clearly it's almost two decades ago) through sort of an instinct the child was conceived

almost parthogenetically, like ourr supposed Messiah,

by her eating a rather dislikable

but successful author's,

Spooge off of his bad linen. This is a rather repugnant and important image, and it's a very interesting

analogy for

taking the work, getting something positive out of something that's "Wow that guy is a total piece of shit!"

It's very apropos especially when we're dealing with someone like Mr.. King

who writes of this. It's almost a very modernistic thing, a writer speaking of

writing just layers and layers and layers. He seems to be fond of this in

the weird labyrinth that he created over the years. He apparently started writing in large part

as self-directed therapy to deal with the nightmares that plagued him when he was a youth

And at the end of things I don't know if he's got much more left to publish, I

sort of stopped reading his stuff. I mean I was a

prolific enough reader for a long time, that I had read almost everything he'd written for a while (He's really light reading),

but even though I didn't like it, with the Dark Tower series,The Gunslinger, etc

Insomnia, all these different books, you start tying together all of these

works which were expressions of his subconscious

into the strange labyrinthine

"Kingaverse"?

Whichever you want to call it.

In that aspect

whether I like his stuff or not, or whether I'd enjoy his company or not.( I suspect he actually would be a fairly decent enough guy)

I'm somewhat happy for this kid who is having the nightmares way back.

There's a funny thing with

decency and like this darkness thing,

similar to how about two years ago (was that three years ago?),

when the thing that we can call islamophobia really started coming up in North America,

The people offering in one city in the States to actually walk

Muslim women if they felt unsafe walking in supposedly free America...

To walk them and be their guardians against anyone unjustly interfering with them

were a group of Satanists.

Let that sink in for a bit...

Admittedly of course these would be Laveyan Satanists,

meaning they're anti-theistic rather than necessarily worshipers of the Beast

(Which is always a weird one. It's like, okay

"Are you celebrating the worst of yourself or you just like really, really a fan of taking the underdog loser side of, ah, the

entire thing???" I mean like you're going to by the Christianity

It's pretty well got the end written out. That's sort of a strange

choice, and I don't think I've ever actually met a Beast worshipper, or at least not knowingly

But if something applies actually to my work in the security field and actually just my life philosophy in general

You can barely see anything with this old camera,

but what I do see I

could translate fairly well onto black fabric using bleach. That's my chosen, uh, two-dimensional art form and

It works very very well.

That's a kind of subtractive art as opposed to putting

Darkness onto light, because the world to me actually does exist in darkness except where light is incident upon it.

The point on that is as a security guard

It's an industry where a lot of people understand this, likewise a lot of metalheads, at least the nicer ones as opposed to

the worst cliches, which are actually fairly uncommon in my experience,

If you're not familiar with the darkness,

no one will ever carry a flashlight.

And I guess that's it.

This little light of mine

I'm gonna let it shine

This little light of mine.

I "missed a call" time...

The 4 Keys to a Passionate Purpose - Duration: 2:39.

Why do you exist? What's your sense of purpose? I love what George Bernard Shaw,

the writer said, this is the true joy in life, the being used for a purpose

recognized by yourself as a mighty one, the being a force of nature instead of a

feverish selfish little clod of ailments and grievances complaining that the

world would not devote itself to making you happy. Well, do you live like that? Do you

live waiting for the world to make you happy or do you live with a sense of

purpose? That sense of meaning, a sense of dynamic. Well, I hope it's the latter and

I want you to think about that for a moment. Too often, we simply live the way

those around us live or the way we were brought up or the way our habits, good

and bad habits direct us and what we need to learn to do is to live with a

sense of personal destiny, a sense of purpose, a sense of mission. Jean Fabre,

the scientist, did research years ago when he was studying what's called

processionary caterpillars. Now those are little caterpillars where you stick the

nose of one against the tail of the other and they'll just keep following

that one until they die and what he did is put a group of them in a circle so,

nose to tail, nose to tail, nose to end and they kept going around and around and

around for seven days, until they all died of exhaustion and starvation.

Well tragically that's how many of us live and I don't want you to live that

way. I want you to live with that sense of purpose that GB Shaw talked about a

sense of mission knowing why you're here on this earth what you're intended to do

and then I want you to wake up every morning and see that clearly and I want

you to want it desperately and I want you to accomplish it wholeheartedly with

your whole being and then follow it faithfully.

Those who succeed in life live like that. So don't live your life like one who

just goes around in circles stuck in a rut

until you die but realize that you have a sense of purpose and a sense of

destiny and you can make a huge mark on this world, but it's up to you.

Live with a sense of mission and purpose.

My Clearing experience: Ana - Duration: 1:05.

I didn't get the grades I wanted at A level so Middlesex was one of the

options I found through Clearing. I had heard about Clearing but I never thought

I'd go through it so when it came to the day I really didn't know what to do.

I made a list of universities and Middlesex was one of the ones I called.

I found the course that I wanted and the adviser on the phone actually said that I could do

the foundation year or just go straight into my course and I decided that

foundation year was best and then he just said the offer over the phone and I

was accepted in. I felt relieved because I didn't think I had a chance at getting

a place anywhere. Just because you didn't get the grades doesn't mean you don't

deserve to get further education so you just need to push yourself through and

make sure that the first year that you do actually is the best that you can do.

I feel like Middlesex is the place for me because it's in London very modern and I'm really enjoying it.

You can with Clearing.

He's now at phase 3 of a successful registration:

organising his co-registrants.

One of his chemicals has not been registered.

For that chemical, he has to organise

how to work with his co-registrants,

to share the workload, scientific data and costs.

John and his co-registrants must appoint a lead registrant

who submits the joint part of the registration,

before the co-registrants.

He got model agreements from his industry association

that will help their work.

One of his chemicals has been registered by someone else.

What should he do?

He must negotiate access to the data.

John, remember that you might not need all the data.

Check what information is required for the volume you produce.

Don't pay for what you don't need.

Data sharing shouldn't generate profit.

These negotiations can be tough.

So, don't leave this until the last minute.

Remember that you must share registration costs

in a fair, transparent, and non-discriminatory way.

Great work, John, you're ready for the next step!

2017 Large 4WD SUV Comparison - Mitsubishi Pajero Sport | motoring.com.au - Duration: 2:51.

Mitsubishi's ute-based SUV, the Pajero Sport, takes the Triton's proven platform and asks

more of it.

But how does the larger, heavier, family-friendly seven-seater cope against its strongest rivals

in the Australian Outback?

Our top spec Exceed model runs a 2.4-litre four-cylinder turbo diesel engine, mated to

an eight-speed automatic transmission and like all vehicles on test it has dual-range

four-wheel-drive.

With the exception of Isuzu's MU-X, the entry-level Pajero Sport undercuts its on

test rivals by around $3000.

Lightest, dimensionally smallest and with the best turning circle on test, the Pajero

Sport certainly has manoeuvrability on its side.

Overall ride comfort and feel at the wheel however was a sticking point.

On unsealed roads, the Pajero Sport was unsettled and hard to place.

The chassis is firm to the point of harsh and every bump in the road can be felt through

your seat and the wheel.

Off the beaten track, this was amplified and the stiff body hindered wheel articulation

making it feel less flexible than its rivals.

It lacks ground clearance required for advanced, deep rutted off-road terrain, but approach,

break-over and departure angles are in the ball park of its rivals.

And its sophisticated all-wheel-drive technology performed without fault.

In this company, the big Mitsubishi is the most environmentally friendly and boasts the

strongest load hauling capacity.

And on paper the Pajero Sport is the most frugal… but real world testing delivered

a different result… the worst on test.

When it comes to creature comforts and equipment, however, the Pajero Sport shines.

Hill start assist, front and rear parking sensors plus 360-degree cameras, blind sport

monitoring, adaptive cruise control and Mitsubishis's forward collision mitigation system and joined

by electric adjust heated front seats, and modern infotainment, including Apple CarPlay/Android

Auto.

It may not be perfect, but the Pajero Sport ticks many boxes when it comes to price, packaging

and performance - all in a plush, contemporary cabin.

And if it's value for money you crave the Pajero Sport is hard to beat.

2017 Large 4WD SUV Comparison - Toyota Fortuner | motoring.com.au - Duration: 3:04.

The Toyota Fortuner is based on the best-selling Hilux, how will it go against other utes based

In last year's off-road SUV comparison, the Fortuner triumphed thanks to its combination

of four-wheel drive capability, value for money and overall levels of comfort.

This year it faced increased competition from updated contenders, while it, itself remained

largely unchanged In mid-spec GXL trim, the Fortuner is priced

at the top of our pack, on par with the Ford Everest Ambiente.

Powered by a 2.8-litre turbocharged diesel engine mated to a six-speed automatic transmission,

the Fortuner's torquey engine powers across a wide rev range, to deliver more than adequate

power in normal driving conditions, or more tricky off-road challenges.

Like each of the vehicles on test, the Toyota Fortuner tackled all of our terrain challenges

with relative ease.

It proved surprisingly agile and easy to navigate through tight sections.

Its ground clearance is head and shoulders above the rest of the pack, ensuring confidence

in most off-road technical sections.

On gravel roads, the Fortuner's Bridgestone Dueller All-terrain tyres offered decent grip

levels, minimising slippage and delivering confident road-holding.

Its locally-tuned suspension managed lengthy stretches of corrugation well, minimising

jolts through the cabin even from substantial surprise pot holes.

While the Fortuner's suspension felt planted it was not as settled as the Everest on tarmac

at highway speeds.

We also found that steering feel fell away at higher speed, leaving us less connected

with the Fortuner on the open road.

Packaging-wise, the Fortuner, like other models on test lacks satellite navigation, which

is only available on the highest specification, Crusade model

It also misses out on Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and the leather upholstery of the Pajero

Sport Exceed and Colorado Trailblazer.

The cabin feel in the Fortuner is comfortable, and while it is equipped with cloth seats

and therefore misses out on heated seats, it is clearly rugged enough to cope with the

dirt and dust thrown at it on an Outback adventure.

The Fortuner also loses out on servicing costs, with a schedule that requires you to return

to your dealer every 6 months or 10,000 kms Last season's winner was still very much

a contender in this five-way comparison.

In fact, if the judging had come down to just off-road credentials then it's likely the

Fortuner would have taken out the title once again.

However, it's lack of amenities for the price does see it marked down.

There's simply better value to be had elsewhere.

2017 Large 4WD SUV Comparison - Isuzu MU-X | motoring.com.au - Duration: 2:41.

Isuzu is best known for its tough trucks, but it's also getting a pretty good reputation

for producing tough family-friendly SUVs.

We're here in South Australia's beautiful Flinders Ranges to see whether the seven-seat

MU-X can match it with its main ute-based rivals.

Let's do it!

The Isuzu's 3.0-litre engine is a low-revving, no fuss unit.

With 50Nm more torque and a new six-speed auto, it's also quieter and more refined,

making it more relaxing on longer drives.

The latest MU-X also makes a better long-distance tourer in far-flung places like the Flinders

Ranges, thanks to more comfortable front seats and some extra padding on the door arm rests

But while the long travel suspension is really good for low-speed off-roading, it does result

in a lot more body roll around corners than some of its rivals.

There's also a tendency to bottom out over Outback dips and drains – something its

better sorted rivals don't suffer from The news is better inside, with a new eight-inch

touchscreen and nicer finishes on the top-spec LS-Terrain model.

However, the infotainment system is still not as user-friendly or feature-packed as

some of its rivals, and there's little in the way of electronic driver safety aids.

For space and practicality though, the MU-X's cabin has few peers and there's good legroom

in all three rows, lots of storage options plus a handy drop-down DVD player.

Pity then that second-row passengers miss out on a 12-volt power outlet.

Hit some 4WD-only dirt tracks and the MU-X is more than capable, thanks to a part-time

4WD system that now delivers hill descent control as part of the package.

But unlike the Everest and Pajero Sport, there are no fancy electronic traction control aids

or lockable rear diff to help progress in really slippery stuff.

Although the standard fitment of grippy all-terrain tyres trumps some of its rivals.

You can't complain about the Isuzu's fuel economy, delivering a best on test 11.3L/100km,

while braked towing capacity is up there at a maximum 3000kg

2017 Large 4WD SUV Comparison - Holden Trailblazer | motoring.com.au - Duration: 2:34.

If you want a tough, off-road capable family SUV with a Holden badge, there's really

only one choice: the Colorado-ute based Trailblazer.

But while it's much improved from the original seven-seat Colorado 7, is it good enough to

out-perform its main rivals in the Outback playground of South Australia's Flinders

Ranges?

Let's find out It's not until you spend a few hours behind

the wheel in the latest Trailblazer, that you realise how much better it is to drive

than the old Colorado 7 One of the biggest improvements is how much

quieter and more refined it is – now you can hardly hear the 2.8-litre engine when

revved and there's very little wind noise from the side mirrors.

In fact, we reckon it's now one of the quietest of the ute-based SUVs

The other surprising thing about the Trailblazer is how well it rides on Outback dirt roads.

It now steers and handles more like a monocoque SUV than a ladder frame, ute-based one, and

steers quite confidently too Unlike the MU-X it doesn't bottom out when

travelling through flood drains and dips at speed – the locally-tuned suspension is

set up well for all sorts of terrain The Holden's cabin has also been updated,

so it's a shame the old slippery leather seats are carried over.

But the good news is the MyLink infotainment system is better than average, delivering

sat nav, digital radio and Bluetooth connectivity in a user-friendly package

Together with the MU-X, the Trailblazer is one of the best on test for carrying seven

adults, with spacious second and third rows, as well as 12-volt power outlets and climate

control vents for rear passengers The Trailblazer's part-time 4WD system together

with good off-road angles allow it to tackle tougher terrain with the best of them, although

you'll probably want to at the very least replace the slippery highway tyres if you're

really serious about off-roading

2017 Large 4WD SUV Comparison - The Verdict | motoring.com.au - Duration: 3:33.

Our 2017 Large 4WD SUV Comparison tested rival ute-based off-readers in conditions Australian

buyers intend to experience.

On this year's test we pit the Ford Everest <pause> Holden Trailblazer <pause> Isuzu MU-X

<pause> Mitsubishi Pajero Sport and Toyota Fortuner against one another in South Australia's

spectacular- and demanding - Flinders Ranges.

All challengers were as closely matched on specification and price as possible.

All were powered by a turbo-diesel engine and all were fitted with an automatic transmission

and dual-range four-wheel drive.

In spite of its off-road ability and rock-solid engineering, Isuzu's MU-X took fifth place

<pause> Our judges felt the MU-X was generationally older than the other vehicles on test, and

lacked the on-road refinement family buyers demand.

The MU-X also fell short where ergonomics, safety technology were concerned, ultimately-failing

to deliver the same level of value for money as its nearest rivals.

It was a similar story with Holden's twin-under-the-skin Trailblazer.

Despite massive improvements in drivetrain and on-road refinement, the Trailblazer fell

short on the ergonomic front, and lacked the ride comfort others on test exhibited off

road.

Off-road ability, however, was marked as competent, in spite of the omission of a locking rear

differential <pause> and while the Holden did offer adequate safety and infotainment

technology, our judges felt the value proposition just wasn't quite where it needed to be.

In third place was the Mitsubishi Pajero Sport.

Although competent off-road, the Triton-based SUV lacked the communication and ride comfort

required on rough, Outback roads.

The Pajero Sport aJo failed to offer the same level of space as its rivals, and in spite

a generous level of electronic safety and infotainment technology, decent ergonomics

and a decisive eight-speed transmission, fell short on areas including low-speed engine

flexibility

and fuel economy.

Game Of Thrones' Recap: Daenerys Plots To Defeat Cersei & The on Makes A Cowardly Choice. - Duration: 2:51.

he premiere of season 7 of 'Game of Thrones' was nothing compared to the second episode, which sees Daenerys' first team meeting, Jon accept a highly-anticipated invite and Theon's epic betrayal.

And so we begin. Stormborn, the second episode of season 7 of Game of Thrones opened exactly the way it should have — with a storm. Daenerys' (Emilia Clarke) council was meeting for the first time at Dragonstone as the

hey all agree that they can't stay for long, but what they can't agree on is what their next move will be. But first Dany wants to make sure that Varys (Conleth Hill) is going to be faithful to her. Though

he brought the Tyrell's and Dornish to her side, she doesn't trust someone who betrayed both her father the Mad King and Robert Baratheon, so she

makes him swear allegiance to her and promise to never conspire against her, or she will burn him alive. Well, she has the dragons, so he makes the deal. Click here to see our predictions for Game of Thrones Season 7.

Before they can continue their session, Dany is notified that Melisandre (Carice van Houten) has arrived to see her. The Red priestess comes on a night that is dark and full of terrors to tell Dany she wants to join her team

and she believes a prophecy about a "prince" who will save the seven kingdoms applies to her… and Jon Snow (Kit Harington). "Who is this?" Dany wonders. Tyrion explains the virtues of Jon and that he will be a great

member of the team, so Dany invites him to come and meet her and bend the knee. So many women asking Jon to bend the knee and it's only episode two. Talk about girl power!

Well, one girl doesn't trust the Mother of Dragons, and that's Sansa (Sophie Turner). When Jon gets the letter (with a super special secret message from Tyrion making it clear that it is authentic) his little sis tries to shut this

proposed meeting down ASAP. But Jon isn't so quick to dismiss the idea. Hey, those dragons would sure come in handy while trying to defend the North from the Night King and his White Walkers. Just saying, Sansa.

Meanwhile, Cersei (Lena Headey) is scaring everyone and their mother with fake stories about Dany and her army, saying they are gonna come and rape and pillage and it's gonna be horrible. So how does she plan to stop the

dragons? She and the High Sparrow have a plan that involves an evil little contraption that can shoot a spear right through the skull of a dragon. And just watching a preview of what that thing can do gives us chills, yikes! Jaime

(Nikolaj Coster-Waldau) is busy schmoozing Sam's father Randyll Tarly (yeah, remember that jerk?) because he wants him to be his ranking general

and is offering him the title of Warden of the South when everything is said and done. Well, there is nothing that can give Sam a worse relationship with his father at this point, so why not.

And speaking of Sam (John Bradley-West)! He's hanging at the Citadel, where things are a little better, but now he's having to watch the

Archmaester take care of greyscale patients. He just so happens to meet Jorah (whose arm he saw through a window last episode) who will be going mad from the stuff in six months if he doesn't get help soon.

Luckily, Sam can never not help someone (especially Jorah, once he finds out he is the son of Jeor Mormont, the late Lord Commander of the Night's Watch), and takes

some of those fancy books from the library to help cure him. Unfortunately the treatment involves literally peeling

the scales off Jorah's body. It's seriously one of the grossest GoT scenes we've ever seen, but weirdly heartwarming.

Finally we get to see Dany's council in action! We've got Dany, Tyrion, Ellaria Sand, Varys, the Greyjoys and Olenna Tyrell all in one room at a giant tabletop map of Westeros, looking like they're ready to play the most epic

Forging the dance talents of tomorrow - Duration: 3:38.

I met Diana three or four

years ago at an international competition.

She was only a young dancer then,

just taking her first steps in the dance world

but it was already clear she had great artistic talent,

and a talent for dance within her.

From early on Michele

proved to be incredibly determined.

That was something immediately striking about him.

That's why in the first year

we heard his teachers saying

"We need to put the brakes on Michele,

don't put your legs so high.

The leg should actually be here and not up there."

When I'm on stage, I'm a totally different person

I really enjoy changing my

personality, and really get into the role.

Dance for me is something I cannot

explain with words.

It's much easier to dance.

Having a talent is one thing, but the hard work you have to put into it...

Being a dancer, or in general a dancer's life,

is extremely demanding, it's really a tough life.

Besides being hard, it

can also be fun. And Michele and Diana

have the right passion to pursue it.

If you approach this profession with passion, you can do anything.

Nowadays it's not enough

if you are just a great classical ballet dancer.

These days, versatility is highly in demand

much more than, for example, when we used to dance.

We include this in the training programme we offer

Which balances the teaching of

classical dance techniques with

the teaching of modern contemporary dance styles.

We also work a lot with guest teachers and guest choreographers.

We offer all-round care. The boarding school is a very

important part of it as it hosts

national and international students.

Our philosophy is centred around this "care", this

comprehensive dedication to all aspects of dance teaching and life.

For me it was so strange because I actually

never cooked before.

Me too, I just learned when I came here.

As part of our unique system we prepare the students

through our school programme

for the demands of the international dance world.

And we try to do the same with the boarding house.

This means that our students must learn in the period they are with us

to be autonomous and independent,

both in their approach to learning

and in their private life,

so that when they leave the school,

they are, more or less, ready for

the demands of a life as a professional dancer.

And here we can see Michele.

I was so little. I was twelve then.

Overcoming Armenia's Digital Divide - Duration: 8:59.

Our village is Pshatavan, in the Armavir region.

By the way, I was in the Komsomol for two years after I finished school.

This is the story of my life.

I wrote a letter to one of my classmates. Of course, I didn't get a letter back from her.

Later, I got a verbal reply that "You had better not write me."

"I got your letter written on 5/11 and decided to answer it in two lines.

I'm very happy that you are healthy and your studies are going well.

I work in the field and do all sorts of stupid work. I'm getting very much tired from the work.

Still, I'm trying to find some time for books in the evening.

Greetings from all members of our family,

and especially from Hamest with her "piglets" [children -- ed].

Looking forward to your answer. I miss you. With love and kisses, Hasmik."

Sending an email does not have the same interest as sending a real letter with an envelope.

It's like you put your soul into the envelope. Sending an email is mechanical work.

-I can type as many emails in a week as letters you've received.

-You can't touch an email, can you?

-But you don't have to.

Look, now I have all my letters in my suitcase and I can open and read them anytime

I want to remember my youth.

My interest in digging into [everything] brought me to my profession and I explored journalism in a new way.

I ran as a candidate in the local, village council elections in the summer of 2016,

though I was sure I wouldn't get anything out of it.

Every village needs a young person who understands alternative resources.

I teach journalism classes. The aim is to use citizen journalism to depict the community's problems.

Our village's two former mailmen live side by side on our street -- Uncle Sargis and Grandpa Khachik.

-Hovo, is Grandpa Khachik at home?

-[In Soviet times,] we were receiving around 25 to 30 letters every day

for the [local] military unit and almost the same amount for villagers.

-You worked for a long time, didn't you?

-Around 10 to 11 years. I worked from 1970 till May of 1980.

-Why does one need a letter, anyway? Just push the phone button and talk.

-We didn't have this kind of technology in our time. We had telegrams.

-How many? -Seven.

-Place it! -I did!

-The internet is not a good thing. It affects children's eyesight and brains.

-Our children are abroad and we use [the internet] to talk to them. That's all.

-Don't you have a mobile? -No, I neither like it nor use it.

-Why? -It's a pity to put my money into it.

We live in a village on the border next to Turkey.

We hear their prayers every day. People already know that it's 1 o'clock, it's 2 o'clock, and so on.

-We're going to Janfida, the village next to Pshatavan, to my grandmother's home.

-What have you done today, Mash? -I painted with watercolors.

-What have you painted? -I painted Hayk.

-Who is Hayk? -My brother!

-Was it nice? -Uh huh.

-Mash, do you recognize who this is? -Yes!

-Who? -Grandma!

-Grandma? Grandma in her youth. -Yes, she's right.

We had a big family and there was a lot of work to do. So, when I could write a letter quietly,

I took a pencil, paper

and an envelope into the field [where I was working] and during breaks I was writing letters.

Later, I was taking them to the post office to send.

-How are you all? Did you get the package?

-Yes . . . you always laugh when you talk.

-Spread the wifi!

Since elderly people often complain that young people use phones too much,

they decided to show all the grannies

and grandpas what they're doing with their phones.

-Let's take a selfie.

-Thank you very much, my child! Always be so talented!

-Do you know what a selfie is?

-No!

-Here are you and me! Do you like it?

-Do you know what a selfie is? It's when you take a picture of yourself.

-Did you have such things in your time, Grandma Shushik?

-Ah! We had the kolkhoz [Soviet collective farm -- ed] and weeding. And land everywhere!

-Do you like it? -Yes, very much. A nice picture of me. Thank you, my child!
