Senate Passes Critical Motion To Advance Obamacare Repeal Efforts

Update 3: Vice President Mike Pence cast the deciding vote and the motion to begin debate

on a repeal of Obamacare has officially passed.

Update 2: With just two Republicans, Susan Collins (R-ME) and Lisa Murkowski (R-AK) voting

'no', the Senate has just passed a critical "Motion To Proceed" bill which will allow

for debate to officially begin on a repeal of Obamacare.

The official tally included 50 'yes' votes which will allow Vice President Mike Pence

to cast the deciding tie breaker vote to put Republicans over the edge.

Update 1: With 50 votes cast so far, two Republicans, Susan Collins (R-ME) and Lisa Murkowski (R-AK)

have voted 'no', and Senators McCain (R-AZ) and Johnson (R-WI) have yet to vote.

Both Senators will need to vote in 'yes' in order for the Motion to Proceed to pass.

Apparently Senator Johnson has still not made up his mind as he's currently huddling with

Mitch McConnell on the sidelines and McCain's whereabouts is currently unknown.

After months of debate and wasted time on efforts to draft an Obamacare 'repeal and

replace' bill, moments from now the Senate will vote on a procedural motion that could

result in a "skinny repeal" of Obama's most controversial piece of legislation, without

the replacement part, later this week.

While Republicans still don't know exactly what they'll be voting on, The Hill noted

that a 'skinny repeal' would likely include a repeal of the individual and employer mandates

as well as the medical device tax as a way to bridge to a conference committee with the

House.

Senate Republicans are considering passing a dramatically scaled-down version of their

ObamaCare repeal bill as a way to pass something and set up negotiations with the House, according

to GOP aides.

The measure, known as a "skinny bill," is intended to be something all Republicans can

agree on, so they can pass a bill and move to a conference committee with the House.

Aides say the scaled-down bill would likely just repeal ObamaCare's individual and employer

mandates and the medical device tax.

That would be a far narrower measure than the most recent Senate replacement bill, which

also scaled down ObamaCare's subsidies and cut Medicaid.

Senator Rand Paul, who was a vocal critic of the Senate's last 'repeal and replace'

bill (see: New Op-Ed From Senator Rand Paul Blasts GOP Decision To "Keep Obamacare"),

has confirmed that he will vote in favor of "whatever version of CLEAN repeal" can be

passed with just 50 votes.

Paul tweeted that Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) told him the upper chamber

would take up the 2015 ObamaCare repeal bill previously passed by Congress.

�If this is indeed the plan, I will vote to proceed and I will vote for any all measures

that are clean repeal,� Paul said

Paul has pushed for a vote on the 2015 bill, which repeals large parts of ObamaCare's requirements

and regulations, instead of the GOP repeal-and-replace plan that Republicans have been working on

this year.

If that measure can't get the 60 votes it needs, which is unlikely, Paul said he would

support "whatever version of CLEAN repeal we can pass."

And, in a stunning series of last minute reversals, Senator Dean Heller (R-NV) and Senator Shelley

Moore Capito (R-WV) have also confirmed they'll support the motion to proceed.

Meanwhile, adding to the dramatics of today's critical vote, Senator John McCain has returned

from Arizona, after being diagnosed with brain cancer, specifically to participate in the

process.

MY STRANGE HIKING HOBBY | SA VLOG #22 - Duration: 7:10.

Good morning! It is, yeah, 5:55am

with my friend AJ here.

And we are about to head to a confluence point here in Colorado.

So I started doing this maybe three years ago, where I tried to find all of the confluence points in Colorado,

a confluence being where an integer latitude and an integer longitude line cross.

So I have this map of Colorado here where I marked all 31 of them with circles.

Or I guess the pink circles are ones that I've already done.

So we are right here right now. I actually only have four left to do in Colorado, these two and these two.

And AJ and I are gonna hit this one up right now, and this one up right now.

And it's actually the third highest confluence in North America, so it's like 12,000 feet.

It's definitely gonna be a run; 14 miles round-trip. That's like 20 kilometers maybe, or something.

AJ you're the, you're the runner of the group, how's this gonna go here?

Well it's gonna start out on a road, so that'll be some easy jogging for Gavin here... [Need that!]

The hard part's gonna be when we're off trail. When we're off trail we're gonna be what's called "bushwhacking."

We have GPS waypoints on our watch that we're gonna be using to navigate us so we don't get lost or eaten by bears.

So, uh, yeah, let's do it. We'll see how I survive.

In English we have the expression "to get your feet wet," which means to do something for the first time,

to try something new. In my opinion, getting your feet wet is, like, one of the worst things that could possibly happen on a hike

or on a run. Ruins your mood. But, it's not gonna ruin our mood today... We have to do it. We don't have a choice, so...

So we're almost five miles in, maybe five miles in.

We're heading up that way. Maybe a little closer up there.

Here's our trail here... do you see a trail?

This is gonna be off-roading a little bit. But that's the fun part. This is Colorado my friends!

Colorado in the last ten to fifteen years, we've had a problem with beetle-kill pines.

It's this little bug. It'll get into the bark of the tree. Burrow. And the tree tries to protect itself.

It exerts so much energy trying to protect itself that it ends up killing the tree.

And so you can see the effects of the beetle here.

And so you can look through here; maybe 50% of the trees, if not more, are dead, and will eventually fall.

It's under control nowadays, but it's a burn risk in the future, so, we'll see. That's what's going on.

So another, kinda, really popular tree up here in Colorado is the aspen,

which is this; it has the leaves that dance

But it's actually one big organism, a lot of these systems. Like look at how the new aspens are growing out of the roots here.

And you can see the tall ones right there.

And in the fall the leaves turn bright yellow. It's beautiful.

First of all, air's super thin up here. Breathing heavily.

Second, we just went above tree-line. So you can see down here that

the pine trees stop growing at a certain altitude, normally just before 12,000 feet, would you say?

Usually just above 11,000.

So it's not warm enough for them to grow up this high. So you kinda see the trees stop, and it just becomes... just...

Alpine tundra it's called!

Alpine tundra. Grass. Rocks. Scree.

So we finally arrived. Someone, we found out, had put this stick up here,

this marker, in 2001, and as far as we know only one other group has visited here since then,

and we're the first since 2010. Pretty cool.

There's snow up here, you can see. And if you look on the GPS here... there it is!

Woo! July baby!

And, once we're up high, we're back in cell phone service again! Great time to check your messages, huh?

Yes.

You go to the wild to escape it all and now we do this...

We have quite the cliff here.

Woah!

Back down into the trees down there.

And that over there is San Luis Peak. It's a 14er. It's the highest mountain in the area.

"14er" means 14,000 feet or more, and there's 52 of those mountains in Colorado.

Still got some more snow there. You got a guy talking on the phone right here.

And the confluence... is back down over "dayuh".

You can just see the stick. Life is good baby!

Found a stream.

So what do you do now? Delicious mountain water, in theory, but...

you gotta purify it first. What's that?

This is a UV light. So it kills all the little microorganisms and stuff. Like 99.9% of microorganisms.

We just arrived back at the car. About six hours or so.

Immediately changed into sandals. Got more water. Not mountain water. Food.

About to eat my sandwich over here.

Worth it. We're exhausted, but... awesome. Awesome awesome awesome.

Couple Split the House First up we have a couple who decided that

their marriage was definitely over.

The couple from Phnom Penh in Cambodia had been married for eighteen years but the husband,

Moeun, had thought that his wife was cheating on him for a number of those years.

He suspected that she was seeing the local policeman behind his back.

There was no argument at first, he asked his wife if it was true, they quite reasonably

decided to separate and then it came to splitting up their possessions.

This is where it gets just a bit crazy.

Not being able to agree on how the house should be divided, Moeun thought that the best way

forward would be to cut the entire house down the middle - literally.

His family joined in to help and together they sawed the house in half.

We are assuming that Moeun must have been drowning his sorrows prior to the decision

to chop the house up, and that his family had been drinking with him to show solidarity

at this difficult time.

However the decision came about, they followed through with it, and once the house was in

two halves, Moeun's family carried his, obviously useless, half to his parent's house.

Just imagine what would have happened had Moeun and his wife had had children!

In the Doghouse After being married for 50 years, Eliza, a

70 year old Romanian woman finally decided that it was time that her and her husband

separate.

She said that her husband had been spending all their money on feeding the stray dogs

around their neighborhood.

Whatever pension had been coming in for the couple, the husband was spending on buying

food for the dogs he so dearly cared for.

Now don't get us wrong, He's got a good heart for doing something like that, However

he does need to prioritize family over anything else.

Now what he did not realize was that he was leaving their house empty and without any

meals.

Originally Eliza thought this act of kindness was touching, However after continuing this

for so long, It led to their relationship ending.

The husband was feeding over 20 stray dogs which meant food from the house was being

taken out.

Unable to deal with the loss, she decided to file for divorce.

Not Allowed to See Her Face This break up was all because a man attempted

to have a look at his wife's face.

The Saudi couple had been married for thirty years when the husband's curiosity got the

better of him.

They had married when his wife was just twenty years old, and at fifty he still hadn't seen

what she looked like.

She had been born in a village nearby the city of Khamis Mushayt, where women adhered

to the tradition of keeping their faces covered all of the time, even whilst sleeping.

One night, whilst his wife was sleeping, the husband lifted up his wife's veil to try and

get a glimpse of her face.

Unfortunately his wife caught him in the act, waking up whilst he was lifting her veil and

getting very, very angry.

She told him that she wanted to divorce him for his betrayal and despite him apologising

profusely and promising never to touch her veil again, she was having none of it.

It might seem to be an odd custom to Western women but in Saudi it is very common for women

to remain completely covered from their husbands.

Next up we have a cheating husband who was caught out by the pet mynah bird.

It all happened in China in 2001 when a wife began to notice that their pet was repeating

parts of phone conversations had by her husband and his mistress.

She had been away visiting her parents for the past month and realised that the bird

must have been listening in on the extramarital activities her husband had enjoyed in her

absence.

The mynah bird was saying things like 'be patient', 'I love you' and even came out with

the word 'divorce.

The wife went straight to a lawyer, taking the bird with her as evidence.

She told the lawyer that she wanted the bird to testify against her husband in court but

was advised that that a court would not allow an animal to testify.

She divorced her husband anyway, without the bird's help.

All In So i think it's safe to say that we all

know gambling can go way too far.

People with a gambling problem more often than not lose everything they own ranging

from their life's savings to losing their cars and even their own homes depending on

the situation, However this bet took the game to a whole other level.

A Russian man by the name of Andrei Karpov, lost his entire savings in a game against

his opponent, Sergey Brodov.

He really wanted to play more but had no more money to, so he did the unthinkable and decided

to put his wife up as a bet.

Now just take a wild guess as to what happened next?

Of course Karpov lost the hand and with it, his wife.

When Sergey showed up at Karpov's home to take what he had won, his wife as you'd

expect was absolutely furious.

She then divorced Karpov and began a relationship with Sergey.

They twere later married.

Talk about not folding when you had the chance.

married for twelve years when his wife decided that she was leaving him.

He was completely devastated.

She took everything she owned except for the dress she got married in.

Kevin contacted his now ex wife to ask her to take the wedding dress away but she refused

telling him that he could do whatever he wanted with the dress.

Kevin didn't do anything with the dress at first, but then he had an idea.

He started off by creating his own webpage which he titled My Ex-Wife's Wedding Dress.

He then tried to come up with novel things which he could do with the dress, keeping

a record of them on his website.

His aim was to use the dress in one hundred and one ways.

Kevin's wife was none too impressed when she found out but he didn't back down and refused

to stop his online log.

In fact, he's become something of an internet sensation with hundreds of thousands of followers.

He has been on TV and has even written a book about his wife's now famous wedding dress.

Crazy Judge Ruling Now this one is quite crazy to say the least.

While filing for divorce, citing physical and mental abuse, the aspiring-to-be-ex Mrs.

Chana Taub hit a roadblock when the judge dismissed the whole case, based on what appears

to be the fact that the couple pretty much living in an old 80s sitcom where a couple

would end up drawing a line down the middle of their house and splitting up all the objects

amongst themselves.

Only in this case instead of a line, it was a wall built down the center of the three-story

home.

And we don't mean some kind of temporary thing to teach them a lesson, but an actual wall

of plywood and sheetrock through the middle of their Brooklyn residence.

It certainly seems more practical than the previous one where the whole house was just

cut in half but i digress.

What's more, it wasn't even their idea.

An earlier judge had ordered the wall built.

The reason for the wall being ordered was for the simple reason that neither husband

or wife wanted to move out.

What's ironic about this situation is that the husband was given the dining room portion

of the house while the wife was given the kitchen portion, so it's almost as if the

judge was trying to set up some sort of reconciliation dinner……...Nope, it just cause more bickering

between the two.

I'm Shane Bacon.

And checking in on the Travelocity tour stop map,

we're out west first in Sacramento, California.

And a reminder, this is the first ever Topgolf in California.

And then we'll move on to Chicago, make sure the winds are down, so

players can compete and possibly move on to Las Vegas.

But let's start in California and Sacramento.

>> A beautiful day in Northern California, and a lot of new teams competing for

the chance to go to Las Vegas.

>> Phil Krass and Ryan Blair not one of those teams.

Competed in Phoenix and made the trip to the state capital to give it another shot.

We also have a promising father-daughter team competing.

>> I'm just carrying the team.

>> Whatever.

[SOUND] >> They were on a mission and

ended up posting big numbers in the qualifier.

Looking at the leaderboard, they made it into the finals as the number four seed.

>> Krass and Blair getting closer to finding California gold.

And Dunn and Brown sitting up top, dominating the field in the qualifier.

In the finals, team Bondura struggled in game one.

Dunn and Brown continued to play well,

earning a trip to Las Vegas as Team Sacramento.

>> I honestly didn't know where we were at the end, so

missing that final ball on shot 20 was kind of a dagger for me.

But apparently, our first round scores got us there.

We're definitely excited to represent Roseville in Vegas.

>> Congratulations to Dunn and Brown.

They will be headed to Sin City as the California representatives.

We head east to the Windy City for the next leg on tour,

where the competition is getting underway.

>> Ahn and Tutwiler came out strong in

the qualifier easily earning them the top spot in the finals.

[SOUND] >> Looking at the rest of the leaderboard,

some strong teams at the top could give Ahn and Tutwiler a run for their money.

[SOUND] >> In the finals, the sixth seed, Lang and

Paulish, were emerging as the team to beat.

Ahn and Tutwiler were struggling to get it going, maybe feeling the pressure.

Lang and Paulish had the lead following game one, and

you know I tell you time and time again I can slap a video that has absolutely

no imagination in it no work in it whatsoever but I don't like doing that I

take pride in my work and I like to put actual comments from people that are

frustrated on the video I also like to show you the views that the video has so

this blitz right here has a hundred and ninety five thousand views okay it's

pure craziness I don't have it a glitch i think i have one glitch that was

documented that went up that high but i'm ever legit youtuber that does the

right thing all the time it's a shame to see me doing the right thing never

getting the proper attention from gamers that are probably looking for a lot of

good tips and then you see somebody scamming or lying to the community and

this is what they get so that's why we always do these segments we raise

awareness and at the same time we sit and talk like we always do

so the glitch have one hundred and ninety five thousand views if you look

at the ratio between the like to dislike it's huge

i don't have any of my videos sitting at seven thousand six hundred likes this

video has seven thousand six hundred likes and that always

makes me ask the question how did that youtuber manage to get this many people

fooled how many kids clicked on this and

plastered himself this is a working glitch and they got tricked at the end

of the day in the age that we're living in where people are just coming up with

so much information but most of it is lies it's a shame to see something like

this and not voice your opinion it just wouldn't be right so I wanted to ask you

a question before we document this glitch if you take the title paste it in

the YouTube search you're probably going to come up on the youtuber or somebody

similar who maybe copied his title okay but I shied away from pointing the

finger at other peoples before but I think the yeah squad family is super

strong I think we're very strong and I have people right here on the channel

off of the top of my head zombie Donovan elite gaming the a squad for life he

took the name of the yeah squad Sam and he put it on his YouTube these people of

course we got Wiggles everybody else pardon me if I forget somebody but do

you guys think it's a good idea to point the finger and say this is the video of

the youtuber who's lying to you or not I need to know what are your thought

patterns on that you know I shied away from doing that but when I see people

like this that are I call them compulsive liar but at the same time I

know there is money in the background and when you put money in the background

people do some crazy things let's get into this glitch right here

okay this glitch is a little bit complicated in the way this youtuber did

it and it's a child I'm thinking we're dealing with a child here he sounds like

a child the entire time he's saying give me credit for this glitch if you put it

on your channel because I'm the founder of the glitch well you have a good

imagination kiddo okay you have a very good imagination but it's sad that you

put it toward a lie instead of actually trying to link up gamers on something

that works this is how the switch works make sure you call your mechanic and

figure out which garage you have on top of your list so in my case I have the

300k apartment in Eclipse tower now I'm going to go to that garage and you need

to make sure that the garage is full once you go in there figure out which

card you want to duplicate in my case we're going to duplicate the Vagner and

it's a brand new vehicle for this DLC we have an allergy right beside it that's

social club allergy and that's how you're going to duplicate it in this

glitch before you launched iton is a job by yourself you need to also set

location to last we can set our location to last we're going to launch the

mission Titan of a job and once you launch you're going to be spawned in the

garage once you're here this is where this kid really became very smart and

started passing out ideas getting the card that you want to duplicate get out

of the garage ready for some exercising here once you do that go back in the

garage now get out with the allergy and get out

of the garage and then go back in the garage guys if I get one of these steps

wrong please follow what's in the video because what's in the video is what's

right but it's a little bit complicated as I was doing this I'm like I'm

basically getting an exercise going out getting in the character is just jumping

around ok the key part is you get into the card that you want to duplicate and

you take it outside blow that car sky-high now that the car is gone I'm

going to go back inside the garage you got to swap locations you can swap that

car with the allergy that's going to replace it then you're going to call on

Moore's mutual and then after that after you called Moore's mutual you're going

to swap it again then you're going to take the allergy outside it's very

complicated ok trust me the steps in the video are the

true steps and it's what the youtuber did once you go out with that allergy

from the garage get ready now ok because you're going to blow up that allergy

you're going to call your mechanic you're going to hammer that a button or

the X button on the controller for 10 seconds once you have it for 10 seconds

requesting the allergy that you just blew up just call them the Wagner all

right once you call on that pull up the phone super fast and call Moore's mutual

and request the allergy that you blew up in a second or so you're going to see

the other car spot on the side get into that car and start running into your

garage super fast once you get the animation of you driving into the garage

you need to click start and find a new session now because you have last

location set you should spawn outside with the car that's out there with you

in our case we got the Wagner and we spawn right outside with that car

drive it in and lo and behold in his video of course he duplicated 2x 80s and

he kept saying I'm the founder you make sure you link me I'm the founder of this

this and that it's it's crazy okay but of course it doesn't work it doesn't

work there is no glitch here whatsoever that the game doesn't we've seen

glitches that are very strange so I can't say you know this is this is not

the proper step for a glitch but this was a fake this was a glitch that we

never came across this was a glitch that's not documented on any other

channel it's only working for him and usually when youtubers do stuff like

this is just for attention for a boost of traffic and you know what a worked

you know it worked he has one hundred and ninety five thousand views like I

said lots of gamers that are hating on him but they don't know any better

because no one is linking them up honey a share of the game we're saying you

know what you guys somebody's testing the glitch for you somebody is letting

you know the glitches working or not alright so that's a glitch okay if you

here for the glitch testing glitch testing is gone if you're here to hang

with us let me tell you something about my weekend okay my weekend had my

brother-in-law in it he was here visiting and my brother-in-law is not

really into the whole YouTube thing so he was telling me sheriff when you're

live streaming I was hitting the social blade and I gotta tell you man that the

live stream is not really helping your case I'm like I understand the last team

doesn't really help my case actually it hurts the video that I put before and I

shy away from the live streams but at the same time I love hanging with these

guys and it's what the yeah squad is all about so the Xbox just dimmed down a

little bit over there let's not get booted so what he told me is how come

this guy remember he's on the outside of the soul JAMA with the youtubers right

like how come you don't calibrate with any youtubers I told them it's very hard

I've reached for a lot of people from the beginning and most people that I

reached out to they turned me down they never see like they just they look for

short term they think to themselves on using them they don't see that I'm

trying to grow my channel and grow their channel at the same time maybe we'll

mesh together and we'll be you know something very strong it's like that's

really weird how come they don't see something my

that I'm like you'd be surprised the type of people that I dealt with so I'm

going to tell you a little story okay for people that are wondering you share

why you don't link somebody on some of the YouTube you know videos that you do

because sometimes actual youtubers come here with fake usernames and try to link

up themselves or you know the actual person who found this or the actual

video was this you know what I mean stuff like that

sneaky games that happen now I want to tell you something those youtubers that

you love so much I've reached out to them in private videos okay and I told

them I said you guys I love each and every one of you and I want to work with

you guys and as we work together we're going to become a lot stronger and trust

me I've poured my heart and soul in the video trying to explain everything and

when I do something man I do it right but that was also my last stab at ever

trying to work with somebody on YouTube most of my friends on Twitter they said

listen you're Sheriff you've got where you are all by yourself with the support

of people that love you depend on those people waste your time on those people

stop wasting time on other youtubers that have very short sight of what

business models are like most of these youtubers they think to themselves that

if I gain a subscriber they're going to lose that subscriber they don't say to

themselves that we are networking that we are growing together the image that

you guys see on YouTube is completely different from the image what's behind

the scenes so I have private messages of some of the best youtubers that you guys

like harassing me harassing me okay but I keep that to myself because there is

no point of putting it out in the open it falls on deaf ears most subscribers

maybe not on this channel but maybe they're subscribers they have an image

of them that's completely different than what's portrayed in the background when

they deal with somebody that's on the same level as them trying to reach out

trying to do business something like that that's why I steered away from the

drama and I don't waste my time on anything anymore I figured do your

videos man do your stuff here with the ass plugs am they can have your back

you're going to recommend you they're going to click the thumbs up they are

going to have your back the warrior fighting

anybody else let's keep doing what we're doing because we're strong in what we're

doing and you know I see it we're about to hit fifty eight thousand subscribers

never dreamed of it you know I do want the 100k we'll get to it and we'll get

to it super strong by the way you guys I'm moving away a little bit from GTA

and kind of attaching myself to the other channel that's not to say you're

going to feel any dip in the glitches and the support and stuff but I'm not a

Ahhh, the Hammerhead.

One of the most easily recognizable creatures in the sea.

Take one look at this amazing fish and you'll know exactly how it got its name.

But, just calling him a Hammerhead is like calling your new Lambo a car.

Stick around and find out why.

There Are At Least Nine Species Of Hammerhead Shark.

When you think of a Hammerhead shark, you probably think about just one fish, but the

truth is there are at least nine different species of Hammerhead sharks.

The Hammerheads are a group of sharks in the family Sphyrnidae, so named for the unusual

and distinctive structure of their heads, which are flattened and laterally extended

into a "hammer" shape called a cephalofoil.

These Hammerhead sharks can be found all over the world in temperate to tropic waters — in

reefs, coastal waters, continental shelves and open oceans and even brackish waters,

such as bays and the mouths of rivers.

The Great Hammerhead Shark Is The Largest Of The Hammerhead Sharks.

Of all the species of Hammerhead shark, the Great Hammerhead Shark is the largest, with

the longest recorded reaching 20 feet long.

It can also weigh over 1000 pounds.

Of the nine known species of Hammerheads, the Great Hammerhead is one of three species

known to be dangerous to humans.

The other two are the Scalloped Hammerhead and the Smooth Hammerhead.

The Unique Shape Of The Hammerhead Shark's Head Allows It To See Better.

Indeed, rather than using each eye independently like most fish do, the Hammerhead shark uses

both eyes together to see stereoscopically.

Hammerhead sharks have a 360-degree range of vision.

This means they can see all around them, whether in front of them, behind them, above them

or below them.

So you're not likely to sneak up on a Hammerhead.

Not that you'd want to.

Three Species Of Hammerhead Sharks Do Not Have A Hammer-Shaped Head.

Most Hammerhead species have pretty similar-looking heads, except for the Scoophead, the Bonnethead

and the Scalloped Bonnethead.

The heads of these sharks look more like the end of a shovel than a hammer.

Some Hammerhead Sharks Live In Schools.

This family of sharks has an unusual behavior of forming schools or "shivers" to use

the proper term which can be up to 500 members.

A shiver of scalloped Hammerhead sharks can consist of hundreds of sharks.

But, most shivers are comprised of 10-20 sharks.

Each shiver has a social structure that determines hierarchical dominance according to size,

age, and sex.

Sharks usually stay in shivers during the day and separate at night.

Hammerhead Sharks Love To Eat Stingrays.

Stingrays are by no means an easy meal, but some Hammerhead species don't mind the challenge.

Patiently, they swim close to the ocean floor in search of stingrays buried in the sand,

and when they find one, they pin it down with their large head before it can sting.

Hammerhead sharks are carnivorous and feed on a variety of prey.

Aside from stingrays, Hammerhead sharks also eat fish, squid, octopi, and crustaceans.

Sometimes they eat other sharks.

The great Hammerhead shark, in particular, is known for eating smaller sharks of its

own kind, even its own young when food is hard to find.

Female Hammerhead Sharks Give Live Birth.

That's right.

Hammerhead sharks do not lay eggs.

Instead, they are viviparous giving birth to live offspring.

Medium-sized Hammerhead sharks have twelve to fifteen pups, while the great Hammerhead

shark can have as many as fifty-five.

As soon as they are born, the pups can swim and hunt on their own, and swim away quickly

before they are eaten by mom.

Hammerhead Sharks Can Get A Nice Tan.

Believe it or not, the Hammerhead has the ability to sport a nice tan!

They are one of the very few animals who tan from the sun.

This happens because Hammerheads are often cruising in shallow water or near the surface

for extended periods of time.They don't need to worry about getting sunburned, though.

Their skin doesn't get damaged in any way, which is why scientists study them to find

new ways of preventing skin disease in humans.

Hammerhead Sharks Rarely Attack Humans.

Of the Hammerhead sharks, only three species have been known to attack humans — the great

Hammerhead shark, the smooth Hammerhead shark and the scalloped Hammerhead shark — but

only 17 times in the past 450 years.

Also, none of those attacks were serious enough to be fatal.

Most Hammerhead shark species are very small and quite harmless.

Hammerheads May Be Able To Follow 'Highways' In The Ocean Using The Magnetic Field Of The

Sea Floor.

By comparing and analyzing the differential between strength and weakness of these magnetic

fields, the Hammerheads can follow a consistent route, routinely tracing the paths of ridges

and valleys which radiate outward from the sea floor.

Hello!

My name is Jackson Bird and welcome to another episode of Will It Waffle?

Since it is summertime and the weather is fine

– and by "fine," I of course mean, "friggin' hot and sweaty and gross and SO HUMID" –

I decided to waffle the one food that I cannot get enough of this summer: watermelon!

(coughs) Also, I'm sick.

(sarcastically) I love being sick over the summer.

It is my favorite thing.

Yep.

Let's go throw this on the waffle iron!

Alright, so I gotta admit I did actually prepare

for this a little bit more than I usually do for Will It Waffle?

I chopped the watermelon.

Y'know, I know usually don't think these things through, but I just had a little bit of, of

a hunch that putting an entire watermelon on the waffle iron... well just that the waffle

iron wouldn't close, really.

I'm sure it would've waffled fine, by my standards.

(sniffs) There's still some crayon on here from uh September?

I guess was the last time I waffled on this iron.

Oh my gosh.

So... gonna be eating some crayon wax with the watermelon.

Oh, how, oh yeah let's just make a circle here.

Oh... maybe.

Ahh.

Will Watermelon Waffle?

This does not in any way smell like watermelon.

This just smells like salty.

Not because I didn't clean it before this.

I spend half my life cleaning this waffle iron.

Oh, I'm telling ya, it just really does not smell appetizing.

It's been sizzling a ton.

It's all that water and moisture in the watermelon.

I mean, you can't push it too much because the rind of the watermelon is right there.

Resisting.

As it should be.

We should all be resisting right now.

I don't know, like I don't know how much more it can do.

That is definitely a cool site to behold.

Now, alright, it didn't come down as much on this one 'cause this, this slice was taller.

I didn't slice these very evenly.

I cannot explain to you how bad this smells, especially for it being a watermelon.

Like knowing it's a watermelon is what makes it so gross.

It's also just like... ohhhh I shouldn't have touched it!

Oh it feels weird.

Oh that is like a slimy, like it is way too smooth.

It's way smoother than a watermelon should be.

Oh this is so wrong! (crying) I don't want to...

It looks cool, but it's so disgusting.

Eughhh.

Alright, here we go.

Eugh.

It's not that bad.

It's not... (spits out) No, okay, I give –– hmm.

It's the cooking spray!

That's what made this taste so bad!

Alright, so.

You should not use cooking spray.

It's got enough moisture in there.

I don't think you need it.

And then it will probably taste good.

I also don't recommend putting crayons on your waffle iron before that.

Let me try to just eat the inside, yeah just eating the inside is alright.

It's just like hot watermelon.

Yeugh.

Alright.

But for today, watermelon does not waffle.

(sad trombone noise) Yeah, I'm uh, I'm gonna say stick to eating

your watermelon raw.

You might have been wondering if I've totally quit my YouTube channel, -

I've been working in the official fastfood stand of the pessimists.

This is where I've been working this summer.

He is Kyösti Kallio, a former president of Finland.

He's supervising my work.

Like last year, we went to Midnight Sun Film Festival of Sodankylä.

I went to see films.

A lot of films.

But my favourite brother preferred the playground.

The name of my favourite brother Nanook means a polar bear in the inuit language.

So it was obvious we had to have Nanook meet a real polar bear!

Even though you haven't seen me performing in these videos for a while -

thousands of people have seen me live on stage -

in the amateur theatre here in Puolanka.

We still have three more performances in August -

At midsummer we followed the Finnish tradition -

to have a bonfire.

Then we went to Ilosaarirock...

Today I want to talk to you about the toxins that's affecting your family and especially

your kids.

Now, when it comes to child, especially baby products, they're very toxic.

They're full of Formaldehydes and fire retardants and colorings and other toxins around there.

Especially when it comes to personal care products - soaps, shampoos, stuff like that.

So what I want to help you do is help avoid some of that stuff.

Any furniture that you're getting, any clothing you're getting, you want to try to get organic

as much as possible.

Also when it comes to things like cribs and beds and mattresses, sheets - you want to

try get organic there as well.

And try to get it without the fire retardants and without the chemicals that are involved

in that.

Number two, is you want to make sure that the products they're getting - so the shampoos

and the lotions and the other things, the diapers any of that stuff - you also want

to get organic and natural.

Because those chemicals can get into the body and overwhelm the detox systems.

Leading to allergies, leading to digestive problems, leading to Attention Deficit Disorders,

neurological issues, autoimmune problems, weakening immune system.

Very common because of toxicity.

And then you want to pay attention to food, the products they're getting in, the things

that they're drinking, the food that they're eating, you want to get this organic and natural

as possible.

Babies that use formula.

Formula can be very toxic.

Even though it says it's good a lot of times just coming from things like soy, there's

a lot of additives in there, a lot of unnatural chemicals that go into that.

So, the best thing to get is more natural whole foods.

Breastfeeding is amazing and really get away from the processed foods as much as possible.

And then if they're drinking water.

Make sure it's filtered water.

We're getting the toxins out of there.

So these are the different areas you want to pay attention to - personal care products,

the cleaning products you use around the house.

Now if you wouldn't want your child drinking whatever you're cleaning with, because of

how toxic it is, you should not be cleaning with that.

Because it's doing the same thing.

So get natural cleaners.

In fact, one of our favorite cleaners is just using some white vinegar and water.

It works amazing.

There's a lot of other organic natural cleaners on the market there as well.

Barack Hussein Obama perfected the art of using government resources as political weapons

against his opponents.

According to The Hill, recently declassified memos from the NSA and FBI show that under

Obama, these agencies gathered and disseminated information on American citizens in a manner

that broke the law.

These documents were only made public thanks to litigation by the American Civil Liberties

Union.

If it hadn't been for them, the Obama holdovers in our intelligence agencies would never have

spilled the beans on Obama's wrongdoing.

The NSA searches hundreds of thousands of phone numbers and emails as part of its Section

702 warrant-less spying program, which was created by Congress under George W. Bush in

2008.

It's not surprising.

George W. Bush, like his father and his brother Jeb, is an unapologetic establishment figure

who aligned himself with the neocons instead of with true conservatives.

Although the NSA supposedly has rules about how it can monitor Americans' digital conversations,

it has continually followed a policy of "rules were meant to be broken."

Under Obama, there was a complete disregard for the law.

ACLU staff attorney Patrick Toomey stated, "Americans should be alarmed that the NSA

is vacuuming up their emails and phone calls without a warrant.

The NSA claims it has rules to protect our privacy, but it turns out those rules are

weak, full of loopholes, and violated again and again."

Under Section 702, the NSA can intercept and use information that was incidentally collected

on American citizens–but it's supposed to be carefully protected.

If information was wrongfully collected on an American, it's supposed to be promptly

destroyed.

However, the NSA has subverted this rule through the use of "destruction waivers," which

allow the NSA to keep intercepted data on Americans.

The newly released documents show that the NSA made significant violations of procedures

by improperly using these waivers.

They're doing all they can to spy on Americans.

What's worse, ACLU's legislative counsel, Neema Guliani, states that most of these cases

have nothing to do with terrorism.

The reasoning behind having these spying systems in place is to protect the United States from

terrorist threats.

However, the documents indicate the NSA rarely collected data on Americans over anything

terror-related.

If that's the case, why was Obama's NSA spying on American citizens?

We know he didn't really care about stopping terrorists.

As a Muslim sympathizer, he'd love to see the spread of the Islamic State around the

world.

As with the IRS scandal, Obama was simply targeting his political enemies–namely conservatives.

It's disgusting what Obama was allowed to get away with.

Now the truth is out and we must fight to put this Socialist criminal behind bars.

Justice is long overdue!
