Youtube daily report Apr 5 2018

This age is sickly.

An ancient poison, an older rage

brewed in a cauldron newly forged.

You made me!

You made me this... creature!

What are you?

I am the land.

You are our champion.

This makes no sense. None of it.

Rational thinking only.

I mean you no harm. I… I need help.

Die, you fuckin' leech!

Jonathan?

A vampire?

Such a crude word.

No, you are now an Ekon

and that you shall remain.

Have the very streets of London become a mausoleum?

The previous symptoms leading up to this attack were the same

indestiguishable from the epidemic.

No. There was something more vile in these reactions. Something primitive.

Are you alright, Doctor?

I... I can't see.

Over there!

It ain't human! Get it!

Where is the monster hiding? It's still in England, isn't it?

Take your place among the bearers of the lance.

One of us! One of us!

I shall return as your judge and jury.

The Guard of Priwen has called for a second Great Hunt of our kind

and they will stop at nothing to eliminate us.

You believe you're just fighting a disease

but it's you, the disease, Jonathan, you!

We stand upon the precipice.

What prevails in the end I wonder?

The desire for blood, or to be of service to man?

K will sings "Now I wish it would be like that " by Lena Park [Happy Together/2018.03.22] - Duration: 7:34.

To win a chance,

they will have a singing contest.

("Chain" by Seo Moontak)

(You are on me)

(It's amazing from the start.)

(Just the first bar makes our hearts melt.)

(Minseok is unusually excited.)

(Their ears are delighted.)

(They form an imaginary band.)

(He's up next, and he's worried.)

(The pitch gets higher.)

(I am imprisoned by you)

(He's in the first-class seat.)

(Her singing engine is running at full power.)

(The listeners are recharged.)

(Her high-quality singing reaches its peak.)

(High-quality singing)

(That was blissful.)

(What score will Hyunah get for her performance?)

- Too bad. / - Gosh.

She got 87.

That was...

(She deserved a perfect score.)

- You were really good. / - She's amazing.

I can't stop cheering for her.

She really surprised me.

Her voice was so powerful.

K.will will beat her.

This shoot is not going so easily.

- How can I perform now? / - I know.

How can you give your all?

(I'm thirsty.)

- Why did she have to... / - He's struggling.

- You thought it'd be easy. / - Hyunah was amazing.

- K.will. / - Let's do this.

- It's Lena Park's song. / - Is he singing this?

("Now I Wish It Would Be Like That" by Lena Park)

We're so lucky.

- Our ears are delighted. / - Our ears are delighted.

- Our ears are delighted. / - I hope he sings well.

("Now I Wish It Would Be Like That" by Lena Park)

(The moment I left)

He's good. He's good.

(It's blissful.)

(I knew I would come back)

(This place, so accustomed to my eyes)

(She's spaced out.)

(I want to fly high in the sky)

(And embrace the stars)

(I wonder if I have lived,)

(forgetting about all the precious things in life)

(Now I wish it would be like that)

(I wish I can heal my tired heart)

(in your shade)

(K.will is pouring everything on this song.)

(I wish I can tell that to the people leaving far away)

(Thank you, K.will.)

- That was great. / - K.will.

The song's not over. Keep singing.

(This isn't right.)

He thought that was the end.

He poured everything.

He thought that was the end.

(It's hard to become the first.)

(He still sings passionately to the end.)

(As the song becomes long,)

(lip sync applicants appear.)

(I can see K.will's voice.)

(Who's the real singer?)

(I'm the real singer.)

(K.will pours everything one more time.)

(It's near the end.)

(Praise to K.will.)

- Hooray. / - Hooray.

- Hooray for K.will. / - Hooray for K.will.

(He finishes singing Lena Park's song.)

(It's over.)

(What's the score for K.will?)

(You sing like a singer.)

You got 92 points.

- He topped it. / - He topped it.

You topped it.

You sang with passion.

- Seriously. / - I'm exhausted.

He has never sung so passionately before.

It's the best one.

I've never seen him singing so passionately.

Is this really worth it?

- Is it really worth it? / - What are you saying?

Honestly, I thought it's too good for nothing.

You know

it's supposed to be over after one verse,

but there was a system error.

He poured everything in the first verse.

It usually ends after

- the first verse. / - But it didn't end.

Some songs continue until the end.

- That was this one. / - It was great.

He's still swept by the emotions.

He's still emotional.

He sang more passionate than his own songs.

He sang harder than "Immortal Songs".

He did such a great job.

I chose it because I thought I could stop.

I know.

I was shocked and touched.

What did you think of it, Jungwon?

You can be arrogant.

(You can be arrogant.)

(Chuckling)

- It was great. / - It was great.

You can use the chance you pick twice.

- In this order? / - Yes.

You can use it twice in this order.

- That's good. / - It's reasonable.

If you make a good choice with the chance,

you might go home as second.

Right.

Right now, it's 7:32 p.m.

Let's start "Sing My Song" now.

Do we start now?

"Sing My Song." From now until 10 p.m...

- Hold on. / - 10 p.m.?

- What? / - Not yet.

(Jaeseok was watching the monitor.)

(He found Urban Zakapa on Room Two monitor.)

(Does she get to go home as soon as it starts?)

(Is it going to be the new record?)

- Not yet. / - We haven't started yet.

- We've started. / - We were about to start.

- My goodness. / - We haven't started yet.

Why aren't you starting? Jaeseok.

That's awesome.

- You said it would start now. / - One second left.

(If they started it, she'd get to leave in a second.)

It started while he was saying it.

- Let's make it clear. / - I was about to say it.

You said now.

- No. He didn't say start. / - I didn't say it.

What did you say then?

- If I said from now, / - Now.

- Urban Zakapa's / - Unbelievable.

"I Don't Love You" just started.

If I said it, you could've set a new record.

- That was so close. / - You'll leave early.

It hasn't even been ten seconds yet.

He was about to start it.

She could set a new record of one second waiting.

I could've left in one second.

- I can't believe it. / - You have to admit it.

It was so close. You could've set a new record.

(Urban Zakapa's song is over.)

She's not talking about you old man!

Oh...

Dude!

You don't have a crush on the YouTuber

You have a crush on the character that the YouTuber is portraying

What?

Some more than others, but we're all portraying some kind of character on YouTube

I see

I think it might be hard to break down the wall between the Youtuber and the viewer/fan (there's a reason a lot of people in the entertainment business just go out with people within their circle)

[Szok] Andrzej i Agata Dudowie: Jak wygląda ich małżeństwo? || LVTszok - Duration: 13:57.

Andrzej i Agata Dudowie: Jak wygląda ich małżeństwo?

Zadowolona, pełna energii Pierwsza Dama to najlepsza wizytówka męża.

A jeszcze niedawno wieszczono im najgorsze.

Autorka książki Pierwsza Dama Rzeczpospolitej, Anna Nowak,

Pierwsza Dama długo zwlekała z przeprowadzką do Pałacu Prezydenckiego.

Rocznicę spędzili razem.

I choć pewnie przed nimi wiele burz, przetrwają je.

How to travel visa free to Belarus, Ukraine, Russia and Moldova | Tip Thursday 09 - Duration: 11:14.

Hey! What's up everybody? So welcome back to another episode of tip Thursday with

me, Conor Clyne, the Language Tsar and PureVPN. Go check out their link in the

description for virtual private networks and in this episode I'm speaking to you

from Brest in Belarus. I'm just here for a few days on the visa free and that is

the topic of this video. A lot of you have been asking me about the visa-free

regimes in this region so that's gonna be Russia, Belarus, Ukraine and Moldova so

let's get into today's video!

So today I'm speaking to you from the very appropriately named Sovietskaia

Street here in the center of Brest, Belarus which is on the border with

Poland and I'm gonna give you a little bit of an overview of the visa-free

regimes in this region. Now I looked at my YouTube analytics to see where most

of you actually are from, where you're residing and I saw that most of you are

from North America and Europe so in this video I'm gonna deal primarily with

people who hold those passports and so if you come from another country that has a

different regime so you should go and look that up yourselves. You probably

don't need as much at times. So just bear that in mind for the information in this

video. The first country I'm gonna start with is Ukraine and they have a very

similar regime to actually identical basically regime to that of Moldova

which is that you can travel with your passport visa free for 90 days

every 180 so that's in effect 3 months every 6 months so you don't have to do

anything in advance. You just show up with your passport as long as you don't

exceed those limits at that limit in terms of days that's 90 every 180

you're fine. You can travel around wherever you want in the country no

restrictions there nothing unusual. So that's pretty good. Those two countries

out of the four of them are by far the the best if you have a European passport or

a North American passport like Canadian or American. Now the country that I'm in

right now which is Belarus, they have a more restricted regime but they have

been opening things up recently in the last two years and they have made it

easier for you to come if you hold a European or North American

passport. So how it works is that you will have visa-free if you fly into

Minsk Airport. That's the capital, the National Airport and you can travel

anywhere in Belarus for up to five days visa free. You don't have to do much

more than just show up with your passport. You do have to have insurance that

is valid in the Republic of Belarus and in reality that just means that you buy

it at the airport. I paid six euros. That's probably

around seven, eight US dollars for the insurance in the airport. It was really

smooth. I went straight to the counter. It was on the left when I arrived in the

airport just before I went through passport control and there I bought the

insurance for the five days visa free. Now remember it's five days that includes

the day that you arrive and the day you leave so in effect it's four

nights that you get visa-free in Belarus if you fly to Minsk National Airport.

Now the other ways to come to Belarus visa-free are to come to two regions on

the border with Poland. Now I'm here in one of them which is the Brest region

so I'm in the town of Brest and we're right on the border. In fact the town is

basically the border town and you can come here also for well actually you can

come for technically ten days visa-free to Brest but you cannot leave the

designated area around Brest itself so you cannot go to Minsk. You cannot go to

any other part of Belarus. Now in reality if you come for more than five days then

you need to register with the police. It's not as simple as flying into Minsk

National Airport where you just show up with your passport and you buy the

insurance, you actually have to arrange some documents in advance to come here

to Brest and the reality is that I could only find one operator online who

did it at least simply who had an easy website to use and they limited it to

five days so even though the law says ten days in reality I could only get five

days visa-free and I had to buy a tour that included a taxi ride in that so that

was a little bit more expensive so in addition to the insurance I actually had

to buy ... I'm stopping for the red light because in Belarus you can't

jaywalk. There are fines. It's strictly enforced. So yeah I had to buy an addition to the

insurance I had to buy some tours and I got a taxi voucher included in that so

the whole thing came to sixty polish zloty. I paid it in zloty so that's

approximately fifteen euros and that works out I guess around just a little

bit under twenty US dollars. They then sent me the documents pretty quickly I

think I had all the documents within an hour or so and then I had to present

them to the border guards. I did fill out an immigration card and I'm

supposed to keep half of it until I leave but the second time I actually came

on this visa-free regime to Brest, they did not give me the immigration card

back. They said I don't need it so that will be interesting for

me to conclude with when I leave here and figure out if that is actually the

case and if I can, yeah, exit without a fine or any problems but they told me

with the five-day visa-free regime that I was saying just for five days and that

I didn't need to present that immigration card that slip did you fill

it on the exit so I said you're limited to the Brest region. Now the third

option, third way to come visa free to Belarus is to go to Grodno which is

a border town close to Lithuania and to Poland on the border and that's

pretty similar to here. Technically, it's ten days if you stay more than five days

you're got to register with the police and when I went there I registered. I

bought a ticket. I got a tour and I got similar documents sent to me so that's

all pretty pretty standard in terms of its consistent basically it's the same

as here in Brest. So they're the three ways to come to Belarus visa-free.

Now the big country Russia, Mother Russia so that is by far the most limited in

terms of visa free if you are a European or North American passport holder and

that basically only has one option normally to go visa-free and that's via a

ferry, a passenger ferry at certain ports for example at Kaliningrad, St. Petersburg

or Vladivostok you can go for up to 72 hours visa free but you are very

limited you have to stay in accommodation approved by a tour agent

and you can only stay for up to 72 hours and you have to arrive by ferry so obviously

you cannot fly into into Russia. Now there will be a derogation to that of

course for the football or soccer World Cup coming up here in 2018 so for a

limited period, about six weeks around at the time of the tournament if you have a

fan ID so you bought a ticket to some of the games you had all that

approved then you can actually go and visit Russia visa-free for the duration

of the tournament and that's just with your fan ID and your passport so that's

gonna make a lot easier. So people do not have need to get a visa if they want

to visit Russia for the football World Cup. Two other tips I want to give you

about visa-free with respect to Russia are firstly if you fly to Minsk here

in Belarus and you think okay I'm gonna arrive by plane and that plane is not

direct and it goes via an airport in Russia, you need to be aware of that you

will need to change terminal and or at least you have to change

the planes of course in Moscow and they will make you change terminal from the

international terminal to domestic so Russia and Belarus have an agreement that

it basically counts as a domestic flight and that means you got to change

you got to enter Russia basically if you fly to Moscow with the intention of coming

here and on the visa free and you will not be allowed into Russia if you do not

have a visa and that means that like what happened my friend, Andy, who's been

in some of these videos that he flew, I think he was gonna be ... just have to

change planes in the international terminal in Moscow and he would not need a visa

because for transits it's fine, he was told when you arrived in Moscow Airport

that he needed a Russian visa in order to catch his flight to Minsk and they

refused him entry and he actually had to get back on a plane and leave Moscow and

not go to Minsk and the next day he had to fly there so that was really a pain in

the ass can we say. So just be aware of that. The second tip I want to give you

about Russia is since Russia annexed Crimea that can cause some problems if

you go there and afterwards you wanna enter Ukraine. Technically Ukraine views

it as de jure which means legally their territory and

that you would have illegally entered Crimea if you went from Russia, the rest

of Russia because Russia de facto controls Crimea at the moment and they

could say that you entered the country illegally and cause problems. I've never

heard of anyone actually having that problem but that could be

an issues so just be aware of it if you go to Crimea. First of all you need to

get a Russian visa because the Russians say that it's their territory legally.

That's a course in dispute it's actually I would say de jure Ukraine but that's

just kind of not worth getting into an argument about for the purpose of this

video and yeah so just be aware of that that I can cause, might cause problems with

Ukraine sometime in the future the fact that you went to Crimea via the

rest of Russia or via Russia and something that's up to you. I can't

really advise on it. I haven't had any personal experience. I haven't been back

to Crimea since it was annexed by Russia. So that's my overview of travelling

visa-free in this region. I'm here in Brest in Belarus so that's giving you an

overview if you have a North American or European passport and you want to

travel to say Russia, Belarus, Ukraine and Moldova. There you go that's what you

need to know. Write me in the comments section below what you think if you've

actually travelled here we've had any additional problems. Maybe your passport

was better or less favorable in terms of these are three options to travel around

this region. Let me know about your experiences and yeah I will see you in

the next video, the next tip Thursday next week. I hope you found this video

very valuable. At least it's a good overview if you're coming here and

'до свидания!' from Brest, Belarus.

Tomáš Holub: CNB celebrates "china wedding" - Duration: 6:52.

2018 is a year of many important anniversaries.

For the Czech National Bank, however, the most important is one which most people may be unaware of

– the 20th anniversary of the introduction of inflation targeting in 1998.

Tomáš, why this anniversary?

For a central bank, choosing a monetary regime is a bit like getting married

– it takes away the institution's absolute freedom of action,

but it also gives its monetary policy actions a clear order, structure and direction for the future.

The 20th anniversary is the china wedding, so I think that's something worth commemorating.

Since you've just mentioned the china wedding,

how specifically does the introduction of this regime resemble a wedding?

There are two additional aspects.

First, when you decide to enter into marriage, you do so with the hope that it will last forever.

But it doesn't always work out that way.

It's similar with the monetary regime and the central bank.

The second similarity is that it's naive to think you can find an ideal,

such as a woman with the looks of Claudia Schiffer and the brains of Marie Curie.

If you become fixated on that idea, you'll probably be left on the shelf.

Likewise, the central bank must choose from the available options

rather than dream of something absolutely perfect.

What kind of marriage was the introduction of inflation targeting 20 years ago?

First of all, it was a marriage following a nasty divorce.

The nasty divorce was the currency crisis of May 1997, which ended the previous fixed exchange rate regime.

In fact, it turned out – to use the analogy again –

that fixed rate regimes suffer from a high divorce rate.

We were no exception.

What other options did the CNB consider 20 years ago?

There were two realistic options.

The first was money supply targeting, which was frankly a bride who was already a bit past her prime.

On top of that, she wasn't even offering a solid marriage, but rather a more open relationship,

figuratively speaking, in the sense that it had been shown repeatedly in many countries,

including the Czech Republic, that the relationship between money and inflation was very weak, very loose.

The second option – the bride who ultimately proved more alluring – was inflation targeting.

In what circumstances was the decision on the monetary policy regime made?

It was made in a bit of a hurry.

As a result of the divorce consisting in the May 1997 currency crisis,

the central bank had lost the firm order and anchor for its decisions

and had to start looking very quickly for a new system, a new regime.

We were in fact the first central bank in a post-communist transition country to adopt this regime.

On the one hand it was a marriage of convenience, but on the other it was a rather foolish one.

It was the kind of marriage where family and friends shake their heads

and wonder why these fools are getting married so soon.

They don't know each other properly, they haven't even tried to live together

and they are already getting married.

I must admit I was among the doubters

who thought the switch hadn't been prepared very well and might not work,

as did the entire team of the chief economist at Komerční banka, where I worked at the time.

So why do you think the relationship has lasted 20 years?

I'd say that it has not only lasted, it has matured.

That, I think, is the key to its success.

We have worked constantly on the relationship

and we have achieved the best international standard in terms of how our inflation target is configured.

We have made great progress in monetary policy openness.

We have greatly improved our forecasting tools.

So can we say, 20 years on, that this monetary policy regime has been a success even in worldwide terms?

I think it has been a success.

It even survived the tough test of the global financial and economic crisis

and the subsequent European debt crisis.

We eventually had to adopt an unconventional measure in the form of our exchange rate commitment,

which we discontinued only last year.

This measure was new and relatively unpopular, but it served its purpose in the end.

From a long-term perspective, I think it supported the credibility of the inflation targeting regime

and gave us a good starting position for the years ahead.

Is it true that a country which introduces inflation targeting will never leave it?

It has been true so far.

I said that the fixed exchange rate suffered from a high divorce rate,

but as Berkeley economist Andrew Rose shows in a recent article,

no central bank – apart from Slovakia, which adopted the euro – has ever left inflation targeting.

So the divorce rate is minimal.

Perhaps we could conclude this marriage analogy by considering

what challenges the inflation targeting regime is facing going forward.

The main challenge we have been faced with over the last few years

is finding the right relationship between monetary policy and financial stability.

The links between the two are growing over time,

partly because prices of new property – which are also an important variable for financial stability –

are gaining an increasing weight in inflation.

On the other hand, we try to set the rules of coexistence

such that financial stability is a nice neighbour for monetary policy,

a neighbour who is welcome to come round for dinner from time to time,

but shouldn't be too nosy and start interfering too much in monetary policy decision-making.

Thank you for the interview, Tomáš.

Thank you, too.

Kurt Cobain Dies On This Date In History: April 5, 1994 | SML TV - Duration: 10:01.

Kurt Cobain Dies On This Date In History: April 5, 1994

On April 8, 1994, the body of Nirvana frontman Kurt Cobain was discovered in a room above the garage of his upscale Seattle home.

It was later determined through forensic analysis that Cobain died three days earlier, on April 5, 1994.

As such, today marks the 24th anniversary of Cobain's death.

He was 27 years old at the time.

According to members of the Seattle Police Department, Cobain died as a result of a self-inflicted gunshot wound.

However, Cobain's death has been the subject of much speculation and mystery; many believe foul play may have been involved.

That said, the official, accepted version of events involves Cobain injecting himself with a large dose of heroin and shooting himself with a shotgun.

When news of Cobain's death spread, his large, devoted fan base was heartbroken, devastated and in utter disbelief, especially in the Seattle area, Cobain's home and the center of the grunge music scene and the tight-knit community that thrived in it.

Cobain's death was impossibly difficult to accept; he was a superstar who had reached the greatest heights of professional success.

He had more money than he could ever need, a wife and a baby.

The concept of Cobain turning around and taking his own life was unfathomable.

However, Cobain's fans knew of his deep personal struggles and the pain he dealt with on a daily basis.

Cobain's life was plagued with chronic pain, drug addiction and depression.

Not even stardom, wealth and success could make things right for Cobain, and for his fans, it felt like the whole world was sinking into despair.

Cobain Struggled With Depression & Pain During His Early Life.

Kurt Cobain was born in 1967 in Aberdeen, Washington.

As a child, Cobain showed an early interest in music.

He was described as introverted, yet despite this, he still enjoyed performing.

When Cobain was nine years old, his parents divorced, and he later stated during an interview that his parents' divorce had a profoundly negative effect on him and caused him to feel a great amount of shame.

In school, Cobain befriended a student who happened to be gay.

As such, he was considered to be gay by association, and was bullied relentlessly by other students.

This helped to inform Cobain's lifelong disdain for homophobia and pro-gay rights stance.

Some believe that Cobain himself may have been bisexual, though the more commonly accepted theory is that he simply did not like anyone being picked on for his or her sexual preference.

It is believed that around this time, Cobain developed either Crohn's Disease or IBS, causing him to experience excruciating stomach pain, which he struggled with for the rest of his life.

He also struggled with frequent bouts of bronchitis, adding to his physical discomfort.

In his late teens, Cobain's mother kicked him out of the house, and Cobain lived through several periods of homelessness.

During this time, he often slept on the banks of the Wishkah River.

He became more and more involved with the local punk scene, befriending members of the riot grrrl scene such as Bikini Kill.

Cobain & His Bandmates Formed Nirvana in 1987.

Nirvana was formed in 1987 with Cobain signing on as the band's singer and guitarist, Krist Novoselic as the bass player and ultimately, Dave Grohl as the drummer, who joined on in 1990.

Nirvana began playing small venues in the Seattle area, where they quickly gained a following and devoted fans.

They were pioneers in the grunge scene, and it wasn't long before they landed their first record deal.

Nirvana would release three full-length albums during the span of seven years and released a series of billboard-chart topping singles.

They found success quickly, going on tour almost immediately, gaining immense wealth, and becoming international superstars.

To call it a culture shock for the band members would be a gross understatement.

Cobain had a love/hate relationship with fame, as he was a private person by nature.

Cobain was also dealing with personal struggles which his growing fame and fortune seemed to hurt rather than help.

Cobain had become an unwitting symbol of a disillusioned, unhappy generation, and it was a large cross to bear.

Cobain Had a Tumultuous Personal Life.

Cobain met Courtney Love in 1989 and they became involved in 1990.

Cobain was not interested in Love when he first met her, but she relentlessly pursued him.

Eventually, they became romantically involved.

They both developed serious heroin addictions, adding to the volatility of their relationship.

Love was also a musician and performed with the band Hole, and she and Cobain ran in a lot of the same social circles.

Eventually, Cobain and Love were married and had a daughter, Frances Bean Cobain, who was born in 1992.

Love admitted during an interview with Vanity Fair that she shot up heroin while pregnant with her daughter, a claim which she later denied.

This led to state intervention checking on the welfare of infant Frances Bean; an event that was highly publicized, humiliating and traumatic for Cobain and Love.

Cobain went to rehab several times in an effort to get clean, to no avail.

He would ultimately disappear from a California rehab facility in April of 1994, shortly before his death, unable to overcome his heroin addiction.

Cobain Died On April 5, 1994.

Cobain's body was discovered on April 8, 1994.

It was determined that he died three days earlier.

According to the medical examiner's office, Cobain died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound after shooting up with a large dose of heroin.

A suicide note was found at the scene, as was a large amount of drug paraphernalia.

Some refuse to believe that Cobain's death was a suicide.

Many point to the amount of heroin in Cobain's system when he died, arguing that he could not possible have put his drug kit away and fired a shotgun with such a high amount of the opiate in his system.

Additionally, Cobain's suicide note raises red flags for some.

The handwriting appears to change dramatically toward the end of the note.

For some, this is an indication that someone else wrote the note, in whole or in part.

Should You Take Autism Advice from the Internet? | Where to Find Good Autism Advice - Duration: 5:28.

Today, I'm going to be talking about advice on the internet and why it's pretty dangerous to

take it in the autism world.

Hi, I'm Dr. Mary Barbera, autism mom, board-certified behavior analyst, and bestselling author.

You might know I fell into the autism world in 1999 when my firstborn son Lucas was diagnosed

with autism just one day before he turned three.

At the time I knew almost nothing about autism, and the rate of autism was one in 500.

The internet, for me, was just beginning.

I think I may have had my first AOL account.

I didn't even know how to do a Google search until right before Lucas was diagnosed.

The internet has exploded at the same time that the rate of autism has climbed from one

in 500 to at least one in 68.

The internet explosion has actually helped me spread my message and my step by step strategies

through my book.

That was published a decade ago.

Shortly after my book was published, I created my website, marybarbera.com.

I started a Facebook private page, which you can get to by marybarbera.com/facebook.

The internet has really helped me in so many ways.

I now run some Facebook Ads.

I started providing online courses.

For me, the internet has really helped us form a community and get good programming

out to the world.

People from over 45 countries have purchased one of my online courses, and we have a few

closed Facebook groups where we can talk and give advice when things from the course are

not working.

But there's the whole other side of the internet that is filled with what I would consider very

bad advice.

They're mostly on groups where parents congregate.

When I go on those groups and I see parents posting, they're really struggling with their

child.

It often times involves problem behaviors.

My child's biting.

My child's getting thrown out of preschool.

I can't figure out how to potty train, just all kinds of struggles that many people have.

What happens there is that other very well-meaning parents chime in and say, "Try a weighted

blanket."

There's just all kinds of crazy advice being said.

I, as a behavior analyst, can't ethically comment on those threads.

I can't comment and say, "Try this or try that," because I don't know the child.

I'm not on the child's case.

I've never assessed the child.

Even if it was ethically and legally appropriate for me to comment, I would run out of time

in a day because there's so many people struggling.

One of the best things I can tell you as a behavior analyst is we want to prevent problem

behaviors.

We want to spend 95% of our time preventing problem behaviors.

That's one thing.

The other thing is we need to be a lot more positive, so a lot less reactive to problem

behaviors and a lot more positive throughout the day.

Glenn Latham says we need to provide eight positives to every negative, and that's always

a good idea.

You do need to learn about applied behavior analysis to help you solve any struggles with

children on the autism spectrum, as ABA is the most proven treatment for children with

autism.

In an effort to help parents and professionals who are struggling to help toddlers through

teens with autism, I created a three-step guide which can you can download right now to

help you turn autism around with three steps you can start today.

I hope that if you like this video blog, you'll leave me a comment or give me a thumbs up,

and I hope that you'll join me on my journey to turn things around for two million kids

with autism by 2020 by downloading the link and downloading your free three-step guide.

Thanks a lot.

I will see you next week.
