the prices you have the payments are too high we never make a rash decision these

luxury homes that is not what success is by the way none of those things can
attain success by itself success it's hard work is what you don't see in these
coasts hard work okay I'm not talking about this hustle and grind I'm talking
about hard work doing tough days confronting tough situations confronting
bad people getting rid of people firing people hiring people making mistakes get
knocked down rejection losses mistakes with investments

to maintain to fly that thing how do you make sense if that's what I want to know
I want to know from the successful people how did you do it what did you do
okay what did you do every day what did you do with your money every day I was
talking to a friend last night a guy that works closely with me I greatly
respect this guy and he asked me a question is I grant what would happen if
you got wiped out completely like you had nothing left I'm like did they took
all my check and all my savings my business collapsed

you have to go build self-confidence look self-confidence is the only outfit
you can't buy this is an inside job you got to study you got to learn you got to
practice and you have to you have to do the hard thing
self confidence comes from repeating experiences that are difficult same
place courage comes from you know the guy that does something that's
courageous is given the title of being correct it's not because he went war
courageous it's because he wouldn't give something the only thing I know for sure
it will change your sense of self if the actions you take getting in front of
other people other people people you don't know people you're scared to talk
to you're sick my trembling do your pitch until you don't tremble anymore
self-confident an inside job is kind of since you put on not a car you bribe
this is not something you buy this is something you decide your targets at the
end of the day or even focusing on the success you have today okay like I've
already got in my book today that I worked out this morning that's a success
I already have on fueling my bank of confidence and trust me no matter where
you're at in life no matter what we've made it or not made it you're gonna need
to make it yeah you hadn't made it you're making it in the process of
making it or you're you're you've already made your gonna want confidence
every day when you wake up when you go to that next level you're going to need
confidence and the way I do that is I write my goals down write my target down
or write my day I keep whitespace off my calendar
I'll write my targets for the day my successes our goals down twice a day
what is your daily ritual first I want to admit to you I am not everyday doing
my ritual I am a flawed human being I am not
perfect but I'm good all I got to do is win most of the time now I do know this
first confession is I'm not perfect second confession is this okay I'm
better I am happier I have more energy I have more confidence I get more done
when I have words when I wake up in the morning the first thing I do is wake up
to this thing first thing I do is I'm on the right side first thing every day
when I'm running my day when I'm in control of my day when I'm having my
best days I wake up regardless a feeling the first thing I do before I roll out
of bed is write my goals down mm-hmm okay now when I'm talking about writing
my goals down right here I'm talking about journaling my future not reporting
my past you might ask what are some of your goals I don't know whatever I'm
thinking about four billion dollars in real estate mmm okay average 20% return
that's what I just wrote down I'm writing it and so I'm right I'm just

so the problem in my search for love early on in my life was not the manner
in which I went about my service voraciously if that's a word but the way
in which I define love and was looking for look I used to measure love based on
what I felt with someone you know what I mean is that that unbelievable
intoxicating sensation that compelling feeling where you go days without eating
maybe no sleep are very little completely consumed by another human
vision but with that comes a couple of problems you become the effect of some
sensation number two the sensations believe it's fleeting
it's impossible to maintain and that electricity between two people doesn't
always mean you're compatible today with a bit more maturity than a younger man
than I was it was on the hunt I know love is much more than just a feeling or

limited to something you and I feel or experience love is an action love for me

it's something I deliver every day also love is not limited to just one person
for me look I love many people my wife whom I cherished my kids who had died
for my older brother who died when I was 20 my sisters who are still alive my mom
my dad I'm formulated their only years of my life they aren't with me today
with him meant so much to my friend my co-workers the people that I admire
people like you depend on I love those I also love my business and my client I
love my employees I love the community I live in my church I love my products I
actually love my products are substantial things that I love and want
to care for he loved it and limited the people and it's certainly not limited to
a feeling for me love is what I do for each of these people these things that I
admire careful love is an action I see love much like I see courage
courage means you take action even though you're fearful and love for me
many times means I'm doing something that maybe I'm not comfortable with
inconvenient and that requires effort I find the more
I practice and demonstrate love and do loving things the more capacity I have
to actually experience other people loving me and maybe admiring me number
one is the media is suggesting to America that marriage is terrible that
marriage is bad on TV what do you see you hear about the failing marriages you
don't hear about the successful marriages this is a problem for America
okay because this is this is the problem for this is teaching people to quit and
to give up when they made a commitment to stick with it hang in there make it

here I'm just telling you this okay when I married my wife I'm like I'm in it to
win it dude you can't get rid of me there's nothing you can do Elena

I'd make it impossible there is nothing she can do it would convince me to leave
her I've slammed the door on that alternative so if I slam the door on it

like got this whole new bigger you know whatever it takes totally different
motivate totally different vibe going home and rapport together
happiness confused with feeling good I know okay I'm an expert on this the
first 25 years of my life I was only interested in feeling good like a child
like an immature kid at 23 years old I wanted one thing feel good do not do
anything to feel good okay I did things that were like that made me feel bad
about myself because I felt good for that long everything from alcohol drugs
I did anything and everything maybe like using my life just to feel good for a
moment at sacrifice real happiness for feeling good look the truth is there's a
major difference between feeling good for a moment and creating happiness in
your life this is my little simple formula for how to be happy there's
three simple steps number one you have to be responsible for your happiness man
your wife can't give it to your mommy can't give it to your daddy can't
your kids can't bring you happiness they can make feel good okay a hug for my
little girl makes me feel good but it can't make me happy forever okay number
two you have to dedicate yourself to being great at something look when
you're great at something you're gonna be happy period when you're not good at
something I'm not good at plumbing or electricity okay literally I can turn
the switch on in the room but after that I'm lost I'm not happy after that I
can't for this happiness after that because I'm not great at my video
anywhere you're mediocre or below par and not great at something nothing that
the last one is there's a big difference between being happy and feeling good get
on a happiness scale this is what I did like in my marriage okay probably one of
the most difficult place and the most important places to be happy and to feel
good in your marriage so what I do in my marriage okay if I always look hey grant
where are you right now on a scale from zero to 100 get on a happiness scale if
I'm above 90 and I'm good how can I raise it a couple points I don't think I
got to be a hundred I don't need a they need a hundred to get out of college
okay so I'm looking at man how happy Mr skillful in my marriage in my business
in my work with my family with my children how happy am I I'm above 90 I'm
good I'm below 90 what can I do right now increase this to match my privates
