With style, a goalscoring style that's associated with Madrid, a winning style and a style to
fight until the end to get the result and leave everything out on the pitch.
And also to have quality because we have that, we have great players.

Is Gengar Good Throughout Pokemon Generations? I History of Gengar - Duration: 8:35.Gengar, the Shadow Pokemon, and the dark side of Clefairy.
Except, not really.
Pokemon Moon's Pokedex description states that Gengar "wishes for a traveling companion"
due to it once being human.
So it sucks the life out of people while hiding in their shadow, hoping to use the life force
that it gathers to create a companion.
That's, dark.
Perhaps this hobby assists in Gengar's competitive performance across generations.
Let's find out!
This is the History of Gengar.
I will be covering these competitive formats.
Gen 1, Gengar's High Speed and Special stats make it an offensive monster, since Speed
increases Critical chance thus increasing damage output.
It has versatile offensive moves to cover most situations.
Lower Health and Defense stats make its weakness to the common Earthquake problematic.
The high usage of Psychic-types cause the Ghost to be weary, at the very least to Alakazam
(since it out speeds).
Having Ghost and Poison moves using the Attack stat for damage calculation make STAB pointless,
and Gengar doesn't even receive any good offensive moves of those typings.
Being the fastest Sleep inducer of the meta, possessing immunities to Normal moves and
being the second fastest Explosion user in the game allows Gengar to carve a spot for
itself in the meta.
Since waking up from the Sleep status burns your turn and no Pokemon is immune to the
move, Hypnosis could be quite threatening even if it was unreliable.
Explosion halves defense of the target, thus it is generally used to suicide when Gengar
finds itself in a tough spot.
Standard sets usually include Hypnosis, Explosion (Dream Eater & Double Team), Thunderbolt (Thunder)
and Mega Drain (Psychic).
Strong matchups include any slower Pokemon that is weak to the coverage it carries or
has low Special.
Weak matchups include Alakazam, Golem, Rhydon (fear Mega Drain), other Psychic-types (Starmie,
Exeggutor and Hypno), and Tauros (Speed tie and Earthquake).
Gengar was Over Used (OU) in Smogon tiering and considered top 10 overall in the meta.
Gen 2, the Special split leaves Gengar with 75 Special Defense, making it frailer against
Special assaults.
Which hurts even more considering that the newly introduced Dark-type moves are Special
based.
Starmie's standard set carries Psychic and Misdreavus, a new Ghost, rubs salt in the
wounds by being the superior spin-blocker, Perish trapper and Snorlax counter.
Oh, but it's not all gloom and doom for Gengar.
Gengar's type coverage is more diverse in this generation through gaining access to
the elemental punches.
Wide type coverage combines with Destiny Bond and Explosion to create the best assassin
in the meta.
Gengar's sets were either offensive or Perish trapping with Thunderbolt being the default
coverage to slap on sets due to Gengar's STAB moves being Physical.
Its strengths are unchanged, but the same cannot be said for its weaknesses.
There are no hard counters to Gengar.
The best checks include Raikou, Umbreon, Houndoom, Tyranitar, Steelix, Snorlax, Quagsire and
Blissey.
While a bit shakier: Zapdos, Rhydon, Golem, Marowak, Misdreavus, Gengar, Heracross and
Miltank can be used as long as they can apply enough pressure to force Gengar out.
Gengar was ranked Over Used (OU) by Smogon tiering and considered top 12 overall in the
meta.
Gen 3, Levitate grants Gengar 3 immunities: Normal, Fighting and Ground.
It also gains Will-O-Wisp to burn Physical attackers.
The shift to IVs and EVs don't bother Gengar, since its stat spread is strictly offensive
anyways.
If anything, it just softens up its victims.
Once again, Gengar's set variety proved to be its greatest feature.
Strong matchups include any Pokemon that are weak to Electric, Ice, Grass, Status, or Fire.
Weak matchups include Blissey, Snorlax, Regice, Zapdos, Celebi, Jirachi, Tyranitar, Metagross,
Raikou and Dusclops.
These Pokemon can soak up the Special hits either naturally or after set up, then take
Gengar out with their attacks or, in the case of Raikou, out speed Gengar altogether.
Gengar is still Over Used (OU) by Smogon tiering and is considered top 4 in the meta.
Gen 4, the Physical/Special split for moves results in Gengar gaining Special STAB moves
while losing some coverage options and gaining others.
(Loses Fire/Ice Punch; gains Focus Blast and Icy Wind) Some Physical Attackers gain access
to Dark moves for coverage, which is bad news for Gengar.
Strong matchups include anything slower than Gengar that is weak to Ghost, Fighting, Fire,
Ice, Grass, Electric, Burn Status, or Explosion.
Specific strengths are based on the move-set being used.
Weak matchups include: Pursuit, Spiritomb's Sucker Punch, Scizor, Blissey, Snorlax, Jirachi,
Bronzong, and Scarfed Heatran.
While countering Gengar can be difficult due to the variety of its move-sets, it can be
easily taken out by 1 or 2 neutral hits.
Gengar was ranked Over Used (OU) by Smogon and considered top 23 in the meta.
Gen 5, unlike most Pokemon Gengar did not receive new moves or a hidden ability.
As a result, its strengths are unchanged.
Natural Special tanks and Pursuit users still give Gengar trouble, but the new meta is faster
than ever before.
This leads to more Pokemon that can naturally out speed Gengar, Choice Scarf users, and
strong priority moves.
Even so, Gengar was ranked Over Used (OU) by Smogon and considered top 35 in the meta.
Gen 6, with the introduction of Fairy-types Gengar has a reason to use Poison STAB, such
as Sludge Wave.
The hold item, Assault Vest, makes breaking through some Pokemon more difficult.
Strong priority moves are still common in the meta, but Gengar's defensive and offensive
dominance over Fairy's makes it more useful than ever before.
New threats to Gengar include Mega-Loppuny, Metagross, Gyarados, and Gale Wings Talonflame.
Gengar was placed in Smogon's Over Used (OU) tier and considered top 21 in the meta.
While many Mega forms gave Gengar trouble, it received a mega evolution of its own.
The new form improved its already great Special Attack and Speed along with light buffs to
its defenses.
Taunt and Destiny Bond on top of this allowed Gengar to act as a stall-breaker, wall-breaker
and revenge killer in one grinning package.
The Shadow Tag ability made it an efficient trapper who could easily choose its own matchups.
As a result, Smogon banned the form to the Ubers tier.
Here, the meta could more easily take advantage of the Mega form's weaknesses.
Losing Levitate made Gengar weak to Ground once again, Pursuit users can still pick Gengar
off, and Ghost-types are unaffected by Shadow Tag and Shed Shell allows its holder to escape.
Moves such as Baton Pass, U-Turn, Volt Switch and Parting Shot also allow Pokemon to escape
from Shadow Tag.
Choice Scarfers, Priority moves, and naturally faster Pokemon can out speed and knock out
Mega-Gengar, as its defensive stats are mediocre in this tier.
Even so, Gengar's Mega form was considered top 12 in the Ubers meta.
Gen 5 VGC, Gengar was often over-shadowed by Chandelure.
However, Gengar's lack of a Water weakness and higher Speed stat gave it an edge.
Due to its frail defenses, users had to be wary of Pursuit, Tyranitar, Sucker Punch,
Latios, Cresselia and most strong offensive Pokemon, as they can all easily take Gengar
out.
Gengar still managed to hold a place in the top 32 of the VGC meta, despite these factors.
Gen 6 VGC, Gengar is used in its Mega form as well as its base.
Its role on teams is similar, with the biggest difference being that Chandelure is no longer
a competing factor for a team slot.
Dark-types, Conkeldurr with Guts and Assault Vest, Choice Scarfers, Greninja and Pokemon
holding a Lum Berry Check Gengar efficiently.
The Mega and base form held the top 12 and 19 rankings in the meta, respectively.
So, how good was Gengar?
Well, it has been a top-tier Pokemon in every single generation due to the variety in its
coverage, move sets and ideal offensive stats.
Taking all generations into account, Gengar is great (90.75%) overall.
That's it.
I will have another video up next week.
So, leave a comment of what Pokemon you want me to cover next.
Until then, stay cool my Noobs.

practices with Hong De we haven't done a performance since as in our style this
is our first time and I felt like it was amazing it feel really easy for really
good was really synced together as a head and tail pair. How was it for you man?
it was good I could feel first performance since China and I could feel
it all everything that i learn't in China beforehand coming back help me stay calm
when I got little bit surrounded in there but uh yeah
It felt pretty easy as well perfect because in Melbourne we train from 6 to
8 9:30 10 o'clock at night and that's like 3 3 3 to 4 hours of training and
we'd go non-stop I'll be lifting him all night would be doing the Hong De steps and
dancing and then our just doing like a 10-minute burst of our performance
seem like nothing so I feel pretty good ready for the next one see you guys soon
alrighty guys we just finished our lion dance we are on the way
back to the Academy to drop off the gear dropping everyone off so they can go
home but I feel really good about it the times we spent in Melbourne with
Hong De training for 3 to 4 hours a night seemed like that this performance was the
easiest thing in the world and I felt really confident in lifting SH Mitch
and dancing in general and SiFu and SiMo was saying that we look a lot
more bouncier in our dances which is you know a characteristic now that we have
so yeah I still really satisfied with our lion dancing today Mattias you're in the
back there give a brief description of how you're
feeling after that lion dance your first performance after Chinese Year New
absolutely amazing great enjoyable fun
SH Mitch turn the camera to yourself mate just describe how it was you after training in Melbourne
well I was actually kind of nervous ah to start
because we hadn't performed since China oh yeah a few months ago and in
Melbourne the style lion dancing we practiced for me training that was a
lot different to practicing for our performance back home so I wasn't sure
if I'd be able to get through a dance I'm starting a bit nervous but then I
remembered about all the stressful times I've had before that have turned out just
fine and as it turn out this wasn't this one wasn't stressful at all so yeah went
pretty well nice alrighty guys I am driving so I'm
going to keep my hands and my face pointing towards the road
however SiFu's cameras which SiMo was using while she was walking around with the lions
she was recording some of the dance today so here you go check out some
of the footage we did really well I'm so happy about it

BIC: The Company Behind the Pen - Duration: 10:33.Writing lies at the foundation of modern society.
It is a technology that few of us think about, and today, we will explore the company behind
the pen, BIC.
Before the advent of metal pens, the western world's writing instrument of choice was
the quill.
Finding bird feathers wasn't very hard, and ever since 600 AD that's how most writing
was done.
Once the Industrial Revolution got underway, improved metallurgy and mass production techniques
resulted in the dip pen.
It was essentially a metal nib mounted on a handle; it could barely hold more ink than
a quill and it's practical use was about the same.
The first truly practical pens appeared at the end of the 19th century.
They are what we call fountain pens, and the innovation behind them was that they had a
reservoir of ink inside.
The first commercially successful fountain pens were built in 1884 by this guy, Lewis
Waterman.
He was originally an insurance broker, but one day when signing a very important contract,
the prototype fountain pen he had bought for the occasion broke and leaked ink on the whole
document.
This accident eventually resulted in the deal getting cancelled and Waterman losing his
job.
Making the best out of a bad situation, Waterman decided to build a better fountain pen, and
it was his design that truly made fountain pens the dominant writing instrument of the
next half century.
It wouldn't be until the 1930s that fountain pens would finally meet their match.
The man responsible for that was Laszlo Biro, a Hungarian journalist.
He had noticed that the ink used in newspaper printing dried quickly, leaving the paper
dry and smudge-free.
When he tried using the same ink in a fountain pen, however, it wouldn't flow into the
tip because it was too viscous.
After seven years of trial and error, Laszlo developed a new tip for his pen consisting
of a ball that could freely rotate in a socket.
As the ball ran along the paper, it would siphon ink from an internal cartridge and
spread it out evenly.
What Laszlo had created was the ballpoint pen, but the timing of his invention was a
bit unlucky.
As Hungarian Jew, Laszlo was well aware of what was happening in Germany, and so in 1938
he packed his bags and moved to Paris.
While there, he got the lucky chance of meeting the president of Argentina, Agustín Pedro
Justo.
He was so impressed by the ballpoint pen that he told Laszlo to emigrate to Argentina, which,
of course, he did, as he wanted to be as far away from Germany as possible.
Once in Argentina, Laszlo set up a company for his pens and by 1943 he was selling them
to His Majesty's Royal Air Force in the UK.
This first generation of ballpoint pens wasn't perfect, however; the metal case was prone
to leaking and the ink would often clog.
Most of Laszlo's non-government clients ended up returning their pens, which drove
his company to the brink of bankruptcy.
To keep the company afloat, Laszlo resorted to selling the rights to his pen in Europe
and in the US.
The man who bought the European rights to the ballpoint pen was a Frenchman, Baron Marcel
Bich.
He had entered the pen business in 1945, when he had bought a damaged factory on the outskirts
of Paris and used it to start making fountain pens.
Marcel fell in love with the ballpoint pen, and in 1950 when he heard that Laszlo was
selling the patent, he threw $2 million at Laszlo to get it.
With the patent in hand, Marcel used his considerable resources to acquire plastic and precision
stainless steel technology from Switzerland.
Now, keep in mind, plastic was still a very new invention in the early 1950s and it had
only been commercialized a few year prior.
The shaping machines Marcel bought were cutting edge for their time, capable of shaping metal
down to 10 micrometers.
The design of Marcel's pens was as simplistic as it was brilliant:
The pen's barrel was shaped similarly to a pencil, making it very hard to roll off
a table, and since it was made of transparent polystyrene, it was easy to see when you were
running out of ink.
What truly made Marcel's endeavor successful, however, was his understanding of economies
of scale.
You see, the pens that Laszlo sold were very expensive, and although they were vastly superior
to fountain pens, it was very hard to justify spending the equivalent of one week's wage
for one pen.
Marcel, however, streamlined his production and bought everything in bulk, allowing him
to sell his pens for a fraction of the cost: only 50 centimes, the equivalent of 18 cents
in the US.
Marcel's initial plan was to sell the pens under his family name, but once people told
him how English speakers were pronouncing it, he decided to drop the H.
Thus, in 1950 he established Societe BIC and began flooding France with his trademark pen,
which he called the BIC Cristal.
Unsurprisingly, the pen was an instant hit, surpassing everything on the market both in
terms of quality and price.
Within 3 years, Marcel was selling 40 million pens annually.
He could barely keep up with the rising demand and so he started opening subsidiaries left
and right: by 1954 he was operating across Western Europe,
and just two years later his pens were also sold in South America and Africa.
Marcel didn't enter the US market until 1958, and he did so in a very interesting
fashion.
Remember our friend Lewis Waterman?
He was the insurance broker who started making fountain pens in the late 1880s.
The company he had started was now the largest manufacturer of fountain pens in the US, but
the ballpoint revolution had left them near bankruptcy.
To gain a foothold in the States, Marcel offered to buy Waterman and he did so for $1 million.
He repurposed most of Waterman's factories to make ballpoint pens, and he kept the fountain
pen division as a luxury brand, which is still around to this day, although as a separate
entity.
In 1961 French artist Raymond Savignac created the BIC Boy, which has remained a part of
the company's logo ever since.
That year the company replaced their stainless steel ballpoints with much harder tungsten
carbide, which they still use today.
By the end of the 1960s BIC pens were sold on every inhabited continent, and Marcel was
looking for other products to add to his arsenal.
In line with his philosophy, he needed something cheap and disposable that people would use
every day: a pocket lighter turned out to be the perfect candidate.
Much like with the ballpoint pen, Marcel's affordable lighter outperformed all available
alternatives and was capable of producing 3,000 flames over its lifetime.
Its release in 1973 was met with universal acclaim and today lighter sales make up over
35% of the company's revenue.
Just two years later Marcel found another market he could conquer.
In what was essentially a declaration of war on Gillette, BIC released a disposable safety
razor in 1975.
They heavily undercut Gillette and have been a thorn in their sides ever since.
Although BIC have had a hard time outcompeting Gillette, razor sales are still a big chunk
of their business, making up almost 24% of their sales today.
As a lifetime watersports enthusiast, Marcel established BIC Sport in 1979, which made
windsurf equipment and sailboards.
Although BIC Sport is still around today, it is a very minor part of the company and
it hasn't been very successful.
Marcel's future endeavors, however, would fare even worse.
A few months after starting BIC Sport, Marcel decided to enter the clothing market by purchasing
Guy Laroche from its founder for $10 million.
At first the deal seemed great, but with the legendary fashion designer in failing health
and incapable of making new designs, the fashion company soon became unprofitable.
When Guy himself died in 1989, things became even worse after a series of failed successors.
Marcel was also getting pretty old at that point and was starting to make mistakes, like
when he tried to enter the perfume market in 1989 and failed so miserably, that he scrapped
the whole line of perfumes just two years later.
Marcel died in 1994, and his son Bruno took up the reigns to fix the company.
His first move was to strengthen BIC's hold on the pen business by buying Wite-Out and
Tipp-Ex, the two largest correction brands in the world.
He sold the unprofitable Guy Laroche in 2001, and it eventually ended up in the hands of
a Chinese company.
Since then BIC has tried to venture into the realm of consumer electronics by selling mobile
phones, tablets and hydrogen fuel cells, but the results have been lackluster at best.
Even today, their most successful products are Marcel's original trifecta: pens, razors
and lighters.
In fact, just in 2016 BIC sold 7 billion pens, 2.5 billion razors and 1.5 billion lighters.
If time has shown anything, it's that the company's success lies in the simplicity
of their products and judging by their failure to profit from anything more complex than
a ballpoint pen, they would do well to continue honoring Marcel's legacy.
