Youtube daily report w Jul 26 2017

what's up guys its cubing on my mind and today we're going to be doing some F2L

walkthrough solves so before we start this video I just wanna start out by

saying I don't think it matters how fast you are but you should be able to learn

something from this entire video since these are going to be white cross F2L solves

you are going to hold green in front and yellow on top and you're going to do

this

so the first F2L pair I see here is here back here

I do a U and they stack and by R' U you and moves it out we my doing

our to it brings the saw up and I just do you prioritize of setting these all

from the back so we're doing a YouTube put it behind here here you an are prime

to hide the corner and pull the edge out then doing you bring it back up and

there pears YouTube insert these two so by doing a

you Prime I put the corner back here I hide it some of the edge over make a

backup pair rotate insert all right now finally we have this one so I'm going to

rotate it to view our prime to hide it to to our YouTube and then actually as

opposed to entering it so I'm going to do it au I'm going to do a backslash

hammer to orient everything and then from here I can just do a zbl oh alright

next algorithm

alright so the first pair I see are these two so the corners already has

placing the edges over here it's actually much easier than you think

so if there's a nephron that L prime you to tell and that basically what it does

is I'm moving it up then do you to move it over put it back in slots in to do

now so it's pretty straightforward so then I see we have this one and this one

then do a u le YouTube L Prime set them up for 8 3 move in sir coming

out of these two I can do a u2 to put the edge in its right place our prime

charism up u prime orange move them out of the way and we're just going to

actually insert this in the back so that this slots in front so that we can just

do this going to be u prime and actually cool our rhythm for this case is doing

an F inverse XC f prime are you are on and then we just have a really basic

last letter next out alright so first up to L for

our C are just these in the back here so if I move the enter here will be set up

with there's an insert so you that they're doing are you and I do an r2

just so I can cancel into a eg prime R this is in place

then I see these two so I can drink you Prime I could do it are you prime are

two so that's what the quarter here I'm using down here at you ad prime R u2 R

prime to tear them up names are let's advance our room but I use it sometimes

okay YouTube stack D to move it out like that

stay in the back final to offer is this one so a good way and so this is just L

u L u L u Prime that puts it back on top mon-fri try an

outline and then we just have a really easy

this one and this one actually you try to put it back here our brand-new bar I

set them up for a 3d adventure charger you prime L ul Franz what's tonight

now I see this pair go do a YouTube are Tron to hide the edge YouTube just Eket

how are you prime and scissors back now I see I see these two which do you

offering and sort of car you park on and then because they are to this I can

actually do it you to tell mr. strepek up for I uses rotation are you are fine

pair then pop and sir and then once I always have a really

easy player all right final Walker

alright first step to over SC are these two orange and green or the gray here I

can just do them a at spa or use our price stop moving

this edge over here up offenders to a front you can both use this one so I'm

just going to do a s crying after next you to L then the time

victim of the you crime our friends you are you and I can answer in the back to

the salt frontline education part from YouTube our I'm trying

our prime you are and we got these back our farming prime are two primes our

pursue our and primarily black X so much for watching make sure to check out some

other videos thanks for watching guys

#7 Viaggio in Alentejo (Cante Alentejano + Celina da Piedade + Chocalhos) - Duration: 11:18.

...this last documentary, "Pôr A Caixa a Cantar"

is even better than the last one

it shows a real prospect of what's the position of bombo musicians

especially in the Douro Region

and their sense of...

...of dependency they feel, at the idea of beeing funded by the city council

or by any public entity

so, eventually, they refuse the funds

can you clap, André?

right now?

You're from here, aren't you?

here, from Alcáçovas?

I live here

I'm looking for people who sing

Cante Alentejano

Listen

do you need to leave, today?

no, I can stay

tomorrow the festival begins

The Festival of Chocalhos [goatbells]

blue and yellow, it's a tradition

it's traditional

it's traditional

what's your Country? Italy

Italian?

good evening everybody

here's a friend

a friend and a reporter

that man over ther

is the President

of the Direction

in absence of the President, he's the one who...

...he's a member of the Direction

The Choir of Alcáçovas' Workers has 70 years of existence

here we only sing in the alentejan way

look,there they are

ah, these are... - some of them

this, here, is the stage

if a band come to play, to make people dance

so, wasn't this Cante Alentejano a thing of miners?

no, there'sno mines here

so it depends

only farm workers, here

only

and so the songs that you sing are farming songs

exactly

"Mondadeira Alentejana"

"Mondadeira" is the woman who went to cut the grass

reaping out the grass

"Mondadeira Alentejana" is a work-song

those women went in the field

mowing weat, d'you understand?

with the sickle

which is a rounded tool, like this

mowing weat

when we were baking our bread

so there's the song "Mondadeira Alentejana"

The Cante Alentejano has 3 elements that always have to work toghether

that are: the "Ponto"

what's it called?

the "Ponto", it's the one who begins the song, he's called "Ponto"

and then you need to have the "Alto"

and you need to have the "Coro"

they would do nothing by themselves

it's called "Ponto" because he starts the song

and there's where the whole song starts

the backing vocals are the bigger ones

and the lead vocal is the thinner one, like mine

which have to be heard above all the others

everything's in the head, we already know everything

even if you don't know the melody?

you don't need to read in the papers

and how do you do it?

it's all here in the head

is it instinctive

it is

it's here in the head, it doesn't go away

this is a computer, right? our head is a computer

and so from the head it doesn't go away

when somebody begin a song, I already know what he's going to sing

I already know before

and so I begin the song in a higher tone

and the others follow me with the backing vocals

here we have 50 songs

or more

songs by us

they're our songs only

it's nobody else's repertoire

it's our repertoire

we write our songs

ah, they're not traditional?

no, no, no

we write them

do you understand?

we write our songs for us

we write the song, we write it down

and then we introduce it and jundge if we like it or not

and then we learn it

there are all-female groups, as well

here in Alcáçovas we have 5 groups

3 of men and 2 of women

what you will see tomorrow

that's not the pure Cante Alentejano

it's a show by an artist

who asked us to join her for a bit

then, during the dinner, maybe we'll sing, like that

that's the alentejan way

you get a drink in, you get out a song

she's alentejan, too

Celina da Piedade, I guess

the clapper board!

my name is Celina da Piedade

I'm a musician, I'm...

...a musician

I'm here today, we're in Alcáçovas

we're here at the Festival of Chocalhos because I'll be playing live with my band

in this case, today, we are a quintet, we're 5

and we'll play toghether with all the local choirs of Alcáçovas

that's 5 choirs

and with an instrument, which has been invented here

that is the Alentejan Chocalhophone

it's a chromatic instrument

built with the handmade goatbells made in Alcáçovas

Alcáçovas has the UNESCO world heritage

for its practice and art of construction of goatbells,

Alentejo is, in this moment, in a crossroad, a turning point

a very interesting one

the newer generations are interested in the traditional way of singing

it's been almost like a cultural revolution

let's go

every Chocalho has his own sound

and then it depends of the land owners

choosing the Chocalhos with the sound they like

maybe everyone with the same sound, low, or high

the bigger bell, or the louder one

it's different from the others

and it could be used for the sheep who mostly walk alone

or the greedier one

the "bad" sheep

so you know where it is

Mister Simone, ifyou want to walk around in the Alentejo

my first advice is...

get free of traditional music

what I suggest, Simone, if you don't know much about our traditional music

look for what you can find beyond the Cante Alentejano

be prepared to get into the places

and talk with the people

and I suggest to look for...

...rather than the "Cante"...

...look for the tradition of improvised songs, impromptus

why do we sing?

because we like it

Reflector Cool Tube. Vídeo tutorial - Duration: 7:08.

Today we're going to learn how to install a Cool Tube reflector,

ideal for grow spaces with high temperatures.

We open the Cool Tube's box and we see that inside there are various elements,

the biggest one, that's the main part of the reflector.

We've also got instructions in English, the gland valve for the cable,

and the Plug & Play cable we'll use to connect to the ballast.

We're going to see how the wings are tucked away inside the reflector

and we're also going to see how to make the connections.

These are the two wings and the bulb holder…

The first thing we'll do is to remove the bulb holder

from this slot to be able to wire it comfortably.

Important, before we connect anything,

we need to pass the cable through this hole and not forget

to first fit the cable gland valve. Okay? Well that's the first thing we'll do.

Taking the cable by the stripped end, which is this one,

we insert it into the gland valve… and just like that, we pass it through the hole.

This nut need to go on the inside to get a good hold on the gland valve.

We pass it through here, the nut as well, we tighten firmly…

and we're ready to start the wiring.

We have 3 wires (Live, Neutral and Earth), the Live and the Neutral

have to be inserted in their respective holes on this side,

and we'll connect the Earth to the shell of the reflector.

But pay attention, the screws are here, inside the bulb holder itself, okay?

Let's start. We're going to unscrew first, so that the cable will go in,

one and two… enough to fit the cable and that's it,

we insert the blue on one side, and tighten.

It's vital to tighten firmly, so it doesn't come loose due

to the heat halfway through your grow, and now we fit the brown cable,

in this case in the other terminal… and the same, tighten, firmly with strength.

And the Earth cable gets connected to the casing if the reflector,

it's more of a protective measure than anything else.

We put it in its place and tighten it up.

This will mean that in case of any short circuit of any kind,

the fusebox won't be affected and we're safely protected.

Ok, we've got the cable hooked up, let's pull the cable through and put

the bulb holder in its place, in the slots that we removed it from earlier.

Perfect, we insert it, tighten it, and now we can pull the cable

to its full length and tighten the gland valve firmly.

Now we've got the Cool Tube wired up.

Now to fit the wings to the reflector.

Let's turn it around so we can see where each wing goes,

we can see the slots, which are here. We always fit the wing on this side,

with the blue side towards the bulb, that's the reflective area,

let's insert one wing into the slot and do exactly the same on the other side.

Don't forget to remove the blue plastic,

it's only there for protection before it's assembled.

Once removed, the wings will reflect the light much better,

and if we leave the blue plastic on, it'll melt and won't work properly to reflect light.

In the bag we can also find some little screws

which serve to fix the wings to the Cool Tube.

These screws are self-tapping and screw directly into the plastic,

pushing firmly to make a hole in the plastic to fix the wings.

We're going to get our Cool Tube reflector working now. Let's take the bulb,

holding it carefully with some paper so as not to touch the glass

with our fingers, and we sure it into the reflector.

Firmly, so it's well-fitted, but without forcing it and breaking it…

Ok, perfect, we've fitted the bulb.

2nd step: connect the Plug & Play of the reflector to the ballast.

3rd step: connect the ballast to the mains supply,

it'll take about 8/10 seconds to light up the bulb.

Meanwhile, I'll tell you how the Cool Tube is a reflector

designed to use with intake and extraction, in other words air is pushed

in one side and pulled out of the other side to reduce the temperature

in the grow space, and of the bulb itself.

What do we do in these cases? It's easy,

we take the intake and extraction ducts

and fit them on either side of the reflector,

and from here to the intake fan or extractor fan.

In this way, all the heat produced by the HPS or Metal Halide bulb

won't be released into the grow tent,

the plants won't notice it, instead it'll go straight outside.

There, you've seen how easy it is to assemble an air-cooled reflector,

the Cool Tube from Prima Klima. At www.alchimiaweb.com/en

Wind blew fiercely on the way to wind god 's road.

In strong wind, bullet hardly to hit target. A group of bounty hunter attacked Gloria in front.

Yggdra justice's bounty hunter from Fantasia brigade stated that Gloria is bad pirate band.

Pointed Centurio Buster gatling gun at Gloria, put 2 side on fighting status.

Gloria solved misunderstanding through battling.

Yggdra reconciled and shared money difficulty with Elisha.

Then became Gloria's member.

Obtained new comrade, Gloria passed through strong wall wind,

Set foot on wind's relic - wind god's road.

This place is wind's relic - Wind god's road, right?

The closer we approach, the weaker wind becomes.

We can call it "Eye's storm" right?

That's good. I won't have to aim carefully.

Marked place arrived.

Hey Lulu, don't just stand there. Hurry up.

Attack mode, switched.

Lulu?

But Lulu went searching for food. ..

Elisha!

What?

Are you OK, Elisha?

Exactly likeLulu... Even WILL in her body.

Impossible. Each people have different WILL.

Actually, same WILL does not exist. Unless it is twins.

What happen, everyone?

Original founded.

There are 2 Lulu!? How could it be?

Can't be unhappy more.

Shut up or you want to die?

I'm sorry, I was too excited.

Oh, I have failed.

You there, you are the one who control that fake Lulu, right?

It is first time we meet. I'm Ajo Gurafo. Call me "Dr" for convenience.

This is Lulu Mk-2. My masterpiece. Hey, say hello to them.

Good morning.

He seems like to joke.

Hmm, I wonder by what fate we meet each other here. Can you help me with Mk-2's activation experiment?

Activation, experiment?

She has just created recently. Her abilities is still unstable.

But she is still several times stronger than incomplete original.

Incomplete? What are you saying?

What? You don't know? I won't tell you. It's really stupid to tell anyone else my research accomplishment.

He's damn smart. We can't lose him.

The choosen one, place it here...

"Lost material" + "Sage's stone" -> ???????

Selection done. I recognize you a king. But king's power is still weak.

When this orb shines in great WILL, you can hear its name.

Do your best.

It's so stupid if don't pick this up.

That's good Lulu, let's me treat your wound.

Still joking? Stop it now!

I'm sorry.

Don't do anything stupid. Let's go to take wind's crystal quickly.

That's right. It's hard to think that guy is here alone.

Hey, old man, Ajo Gurafo is not Lukia's man, is it?

Lukia is so stupid if sends scientist to the front.

Why should I have a sales process? - Duration: 1:28.

Hi, I'm Mike Crandall.

At our firm, we specialize in sales, management, and leadership development.

One question I get asked frequently is "Why should I have a sales process?"

Why should I have a sales process?

You may have never even heard of a sales process.

And maybe you don't need one.

But if what you sell is big, expensive, personal, complex, technical, or people don't buy

it very often, you probably do.

Now what do I mean by that?

If what you sell is a commodity like bottled water, you might not need a selling process

because people know how to buy it.

But if I'm selling something like custom homes that people might only buy once in their

entire life, they don't know how to buy it.

Therefore, you really need a good sales process.

So again, if what you sell is big, expensive, personal, complex, technical, or people don't

buy it very often, you need a sales process.

It's one of the many things we specialize in at our firm.

We'd love to visit with you about that.

On the screen below is our contact info.

We look forward to hearing from you.

Once again, my name is Mike Crandall.

Good Selling.

New trends emerge as more Korean women put off marriage - Duration: 4:37.

More often than not the most stressful question for women who are past what Korean society

views as the ripe age for marriage is...

WHEN.

Times and traditions are changing though.

Kim Hyesung sheds light on new social trends created as more Korean women feel comfortable

putting that plan on hold or choosing to stay single.

Classy, glamorous, elegant.

Thirty-three year old Kang Bo-hyun, trying out different wedding gowns to find the one

just for her.

"It's so pretty.

Doesn't it look good on me?"

But this bridal wedding photo shoot is a little different.

Have you noticed?

There's no groom.

It's a solo wedding shot.

I "I'm in my thirties... and I want to leave a wedding shot of me when I'm young and pretty.

So I came here today to take pictures at a professional studio."

At around 300 U.S. dollars, the studio provides dress fitting, hair, makeup, bouquet, and

photo shoot.

Basically, the traditional couple wedding shot service package minus the actual ceremony.

The studio CEO says as a growing number of single women in their late 20s and 30s come

for the service, demand for solo wedding shots has gone up by 150% on-year.

"The term 'solo wedding shot' was coined just two years ago after a reality show featured

single female celebrities taking bridal wedding shots.

A couple of years back, customers were shy and asked if there were people taking wedding

shots by themselves.

Now, customers bring pictures asking "Can you take one like this?"

Solo wedding shots have become a new trend in our industry."

"In addition to capturing youthfulness and beauty by taking solo wedding shots, a small

but growing number of single Korean women are freezing their eggs in case they want

a baby later in life."

In this oocyte bank, eggs are frozen at minus 210 degrees Celsius until they are thawed

for artificial insemination.

Egg freezing started in the 1990s in Korea to help female cancer patients facing chemotherapy,

as their eggs and fertility system could potentially be damaged.

But recently, egg freezing has expanded to single women in their thirties.

This fertility center which charges around three thousand dollars to freeze eggs, has

seen the number of eggs increase 17 fold in the last five years.

"More women are freezing their eggs, thanks to an improvement in freezing methods.

We extract around seven eggs at a time and the survival rate after defrosting is over

80 percent.

Another reason is a growing number of single women in their 30s freezing their eggs, mostly

with professional careers who want to save their eggs before the age of 35 or 37 as a

kind of insurance."

A woman is born with all the eggs she'll ever have, around 2 million eggs in their ovaries

from age one.

Eggs can't be produced, the number just keeps decreasing as women age until the menopause,

with 35 marking a turning point.

The older the egg, the more problems it could cause, such as chromosome issues that could

result in birth defects."

Single women who want to expand their reproductive options are choosing to freeze their eggs,

and according to Statistics Korea, more women are getting married with men younger than

them.

The total number of marriages in Korea has been declining, while marriages between older

women and younger men continue to increase, reaching over 36 thousand last year, and accounting

for more than 15% of total first time marriages.

"During the industrialization period, people married for various reasons, like having babies

or for economic reasons.

Traditionally, the Korean family was one with the husband, older than wife, being the breadwinner.

But now the concept of an optimum age to get married, between 26 and 28 for women is gone,

especially as more women enter the workforce.

In Seoul alone, around one in five women aged between 40 and 44 are single.

Staying single or marrying late is no longer deemed abnormal in our society."

More Korean women are choosing to stay single or put off marriage.

It's a change which isn't good or bad.

But one thing's for sure.

It's creating new trends and is set to diversify Korea's traditional family structure.

No Degree: Apply For Job Or Internship? - Duration: 8:09.

Hey, what's up?

John Sonmez here from simpleprogrammer.com.

that link.

I got a question from—oh, and he gave me the pronunciation.

He's from Bulgaria.

He says Lyubomir.

At least I think that's Lyubomir.

Lyubomir says, "I can either go to the US to work for 14-16 hours a day for $10 an hour

(That's a lot of money in Bulgaria) or get an internship doing some programming for little

or no pay.

What should I do the 4 months in summer when I don't have college?"

He says he's from Bulgaria finishing up his second semester studying Computer Science

and Information Systems.

His college is extremely expensive, $5000 a year with a 60% scholarship.

For Bulgaria, that's expensive.

He's been doing freelance web development on the side for pretty lucrative amounts of

money, but it's not enough to pay for his education.

He'd either have to go to the US and work two jobs in the summer or have a large student

loan that I have to pay off after I graduate.

If I understand the question correctly, I think what he's saying is that he's either

going to go to the US and work 14-16 hours a day at about 10 bucks an hour or do an internship

doing some programming with no or little pay in Bulgaria.

What should you do in this case?

I would highly recommend—you know, I talked about this before in a video.

I think someone asked in a video about going to the US or staying in their country and

I had recommended going to the US.

If we can find that video, I don't remember the name of it, but I would highly recommend

going to the US and doing the 10-14-hour days for 10 bucks an hour just because of the connections

that you're going to make there, especially working at a company being paid in the US,

and the perspective change that you're going to have.

I mean I have my own world view and my own perspective, but I've seen on the flip side.

I went to China.

You can check out my videos in China and I've gone to a lot of third world kind of countries

or places where the cost of living is much less, where people make a lot less and they

live in a lot worse conditions.

I realized how plentiful the US is and how much opportunity there is here and how fortunate

I am to be here and to have that opportunity.

It's sort of made my perspective bigger to understand that opportunity that I maybe was

taking for granted.

I think, again, I haven't done this, but I think the other perspective is also valuable.

I think if you're from somewhere like Bulgaria and you come to the US and you see—I mean

I've actually had the other experience.

I'll talk about it in a second, but, essentially, I think if you come to US and you see how

much everyone's got—is making so much money and there's so many expensive stores, and

all of this stuff and how much things cost, it may motivate you and make you realize that

there is—because you're working in this global economy.

Maybe you're underpricing yourself.

Maybe you're undervaluing yourself because you're used to what is expensive or what is

the current value in Bulgaria, which is a lot less.

Seeing something more grand and more extravagant and of a higher level can make you want to—not

only want to reach that level, but it can make you realize that it's possible and that

there's—for a lot of people, it's the norm.

Now, again, there's opportunities and there's all of these things, but as we're moving to

more of a global economy especially for programmers, there is—a lot of it is perception.

A lot of it comes down to perception and I'll tell you like I've had this experience when

I've gone to places like Manhattan and gone to 5th Street in Manhattan.

You might think that you're doing pretty well, but you go to 5th Street in Manhattan and

you're like, "Man, I am poor."

Or you go to Vegas to some of these places in Vegas where—I went to this one restaurant

and they had this Japanese kobe beef.

Do you know how much that beef costs—like 4 ounces of beef?

I'm embarrassed to tell you how much it cost me, but it cost me like 200 bucks, something

like that.

It was like 150 or 200 bucks.

Somewhere around that range for like 4 ounces of beef.

Now, I wouldn't do that all the time.

Obviously, I'm not that rich but I wanted to try it once, and there are people that

do, that lived that way.

It expanded my mindset to say, "Wow.

This is interesting.

For some people, this is just a norm.

Why do I have such a limited mindset that I don't think this is the norm?"

I'm not saying that money is everything and that—you know, all this but I'm just saying

that sometimes seeing how the extravagant or seeing how the wealthy live can make you

realize that that could be your like—it could adjust you to that where it could set

your sights a little higher because a lot of times we set our sights too high or—I

mean too low.

We should set them a little bit higher.

I know this is kind of a weird way to go from your question, but, honestly, I would come

over to the US and take that opportunity and just—I feel like it will expand your perspective.

It will give you lot of opportunities in the future in the US versus doing an unpaid internship

in Bulgaria.

I think that it's going to carry more weight.

Plus, the other thing to think about too is that if you do try to get a job in the US

or you try to do freelancing, if you have US clients on your resume and on your portfolio,

that's going to make a bigger difference.

If it's all Bulgarian clients and you try to get a job somewhere else or you try to

court a US client, it's going to be harder because they're going to say, "Well, I don't

know like is this legit?

Does this measure up?"

They're going to have these perceptions and—if you're like, "Oh, I interned at IBM in the

US for four months," that's going to look much better for you.

Again, I don't know about this.

I don't have your perspective so I can't tell you 100%, but I would say that just for

my own experience and what I've seen and all the people that I know that—I know a ton

of developers that came over here from India.

There's one in particular that the dude started following my channel, I think like three or

four years ago and started reading my stuff and my blog, and he was making like nothing

in India like very little, and he came to US and he's making like almost $200,000 a

year in the US now.

I mean can you imagine that?

A lot of it was the mindset shift.

A lot of it was because—when I've talked to him, he said that a lot of watching my

videos and just realizing what was possible made him want that and set his bar that high,

and then all of a sudden he's—I mean it's unbelievable where he's been and there's couple

of stories like that.

I mean you've seen the one on my channel where i told about the story, the guy that emailed

me that—also from India—That end up being extremely successful.

I can't remember the—Skip MBA.

That's his name.

All right.

That's all I got for you.

Good luck.

How To : Long Scrolling Screenshots - Duration: 2:14.

Hey, Guys, it's me rahul.

What's going on?

Hope you are doing well.

Today i have a really really useful trick to show you guys.

So get ready.

I think We can all agree on one thing that google should add scrolling screenshots in

their new version of Android.Someday It is gonna be a reality, but until then we have

to use third party apps to get the job done.

Some manufacturer actually includes this feature onto their skinned stock rom as a standout

feature.

But If you guys don't have it,.

Don't worry there is an awesome app to take scrolling screenshots.

The app is called stitch and share, it is free on the google play store,so check it

out.

It is actually a complete app for taking and making long screenshots.

There are 3 differents ways or 3 modes to make long screenshots.

The first option is "Automatic capturing", it is pretty self-explanatory what this mode

does is it will automatically take screenshots and stitches them together while you scroll

down or scroll up.

It is completely automatic. The only thing that you want to keep in mind while using

this method, don't flick up or down, just slowly move the page down or up about 3/4th

at a time.

Once you have taken the screenshots tap on this save icon to save the long stitched screenshot.

If you have already taken the screenshots using the stock screenshot feature then you

can use any of the below 2 options, either you can tell the app to do the stitching automatically

for you or you can do it manually that is what those two options do.

I always prefer a long screenshot over multiple ones' so use this app wisely.

Hope you find something helpful in this video..

And I'll talk to you guys in my next video

One Year with the Sony A7S: The Viewfinder with Marcin Lewandowski - Duration: 4:04.

Welcome to AdoramaTV.

My name is Marcin Lewandowski

and in this episode of The Viewfinder

I will tell you a bit about

one of my favorite cameras,

the Sony A7S

and share my experience of using it for a year

and what makes it special to me.

I became aware of this camera

once people began talking more and more

about mirrorless.

As a longtime Nikon DSLR user

I wasn't really into the whole

mirrorless revolution

but one beautiful day

I did an overview

of the Zeiss Batis lenses

using the Sony Alpha 7R

for AdoramaTV

and it was then that the ice

between me and mirrorless

started to melt.

Shortly after that experience

I jumped at the chance

to get the high ISO beast,

the Sony Alpha 7S and armed it

with a 35mm prime lens.

I decided to keep it like that

and see what would happen.

Before trying the A7S

I originally thought it was a camera

with lots of gimmicks

offering just 12 megapixels?

I'm used to working with cameras

that has an output of 20 or 40 megapixels,

but the camera that offers just 12?

Well actually that is

in fact more than enough

and the Sony A7S can be

used for magazine work,

online use and it's safe for printing

even up to A2 size.

Another gimmick in my mind

was the 409600 ISO setting

which I never thought about seriously,

oh how wrong I was,

not only can it go where no one

ever dared go before

it performs like no one else

on the road there as well.

At the same time

the A7S provides a simply

spectacular dynamic range

of almost 15 stops.

I mean in terms of pure numbers

this is the ARRI cinema cameras area

and simply destroys

every photographic camera out there.

The amount of detail

that can be pulled from highlights

and shadows is breathtaking

It has ISO capabilities

I wouldn't have dreamt possible.

But these facts only

scratch the surface.

One of the things that I simply adore

about this camera is

the option to shoot silently.

I often work in theatres,

backstage areas, film sets

and other quiet places,

so being able to not only

move around silently

but also to be able to photograph

silently without the need

of a blimp is a blessing.

I imagine that anyone who has ever

pressed the shutter at the wrong moment

will know exactly what I'm talking about.

Another thing that makes this camera

stand out, because it doesn't have

a mirror is its size.

It's just nice and compact.

One of the functions of the A7S

that everyone keeps talking about

is video.

I personally know videographers

that value this camera pretty highly

using it for work as well as leisure.

I'm not a videographer myself

but the other day we made a music video

for Hooltai and Feandin

and from my perspective

the video capabilities are flawless.

It has everything I ever wanted

from a video camera,

from picture profiles,

the different video modes

including 120p

I spent the last year with the Sony A7S

and I really love this camera

and feel it's a glimpse of the future

of mirrorless photography.

From the moment I took my

first photograph with it.

I immediately thought

that with this much dynamic range

it promised to be a fruitful romance.

It accompanies me

everywhere I go with a camera

and it replaced the RX-100 Mark IV

Coming North in the national road, stopped in Coruche

to meet with friends and fishing

got into the wild and the road was good until there

then, got deeper and with moving sand

and the car got stucked

well, now I'm waiting for a guy, friend of a friend ! THANKS
