HOW TO MAKE COCONUT YOGURT - Duration: 4:44.
Hi and welcome to Steve's kitchen by the end of this recipe you're going to learn
how to make a delicious and thick super thick coconut yogurt and its rich and
full of probiotics. Now we've been doing a few good stomach recipes over the last
week we got that lovely sauerkraut, the german sauerkraut, the fermented cabbage,
which was really delicious and then we did the buttermilk as well last weekend.
Today we're taking it up a notch, something super delicious, strap yourself
in and learn with me how to make a delicious coconut yogurt. You'll see I've
got a variety of coconut milks and creams here and I've experimented with
them all so you don't have to. Now you'd have thought that a thick coconut cream
would work better than a coconut milk but I can tell you from my experimenting
the milk makes a nicer yogurt. It's just the right sort of texture, they both work
by the way. Now I've gone for a pure coconut milk by the way there's nothing
else in here, many of them do have emulsifiers and different additives in
it, doesn't matter they do all work. This particular brand that I found is perfect,
they are little Diddy tins but they're just the perfect size for me. Now whether
it comes in a can or a carton first thing you want to do. Let's give this a
good shake up, break up the fats, any solids that are in the top of the can
and then everything after this is pretty simple. Crack open the lid, pull that top
off and you'll see with the shake-up there are no solids on the top. Now we
take this coconut milk, now I've put the coconut milk into a glass jar just so
that you can see what I'm doing but a little tip here you could just do it
straight in the can it makes no difference. Now many of you will know the
cultures we use to make a dairy yogurt they grow naturally in milk but we don't
want to introduce these if we're going to go dairy free, so I've got some
probiotics, these are little capsules you can get in most chemists or supermarkets.
They're very simple, so simple little capsules, as you would find in any tablet
form. Take your little capsule give it a squeeze, a little twist and all those
little probiotics will come out. Just pour it on top of the coconut milk and
then just take a teaspoon and give this a good stir through. Now
these are the natural healthy probiotics that you find in the stomach and when
you put them into your coconut yogurt like this at room temperature they are
actually going to bloom. They're going to multiply, it's going to take a couple of
days for them to make a very thick yogurt. Now initially I'm going to leave
this for 24 hours, a little bit of muslin or cheesecloth over the top, just to keep
the dust out. In 24 hours time you're going to uncover your coconut yogurt and
what you're going to notice is there's often a little bit of coconut water at
the bottom and it will have started to thicken slightly. Not as thick as a
normal yogurt, although we're starting to get there, you can see but on the first
day what I like to do is just give this a stir through. Just to bring the coconut
water back into the milk. Cover it over and we're going to leave this at room
temperature for another day and by then it's going to be a lovely thick yogurt, a
little bit like a Greek yogurt. Now different temperatures around the house
will mean that this will take slightly varied times to actually finish but
don't worry it could be within one day or two days, it's certainly going to set.
Now by the second day, you just look how beautiful and thick this yogurt has set
and you can eat it just like this, I'll give it a try. My that is so delicious.
Now if you set that in the fridge for a little while it will set super firm like
a really dense Greek yogurt and I would serve this with some fresh fruits or as
I'm going to do now, I've got this wonderful homemade lemon curd, which is just a
great combination. Now just look at that, I think the combination of lemon curd
and coconut yogurt, you just can't beat it. Having said that I'd love to hear if
you've got a better combination but here goes, I'm going to tuck in and give this a
try.
Wow that is heavenly, it is so, so good. I love it. Now the reason we made this with
the probiotics also was to keep it completely lactose free and it still
tastes really delicious, so if you're intolerant towards any milk products.
This is the yogurt for you, oh it's so good, I'm going in for a second helping

Hi! My name is Mark Daniomi. I'm sixteen and this is two months on testosterone.
It's been a wild two months and it's even been just a wild month since I last
made a video. I've- There's definitely been changes with T,
I'm definitely having different voice, like, changes like my voice is deeper, I also... if I try and
change from this range, my voice tends to crack a lot (more) often, like when I try and go
into a higher range it tends to not stay in that range and this is just a lot more
comfortable to talk in.
I'm definitely getting WAY more acne.
It's starting to kind of become a problem, but it's a problem that
I can handle and a problem that isn't like life-changing. It's just kind of
annoying. There's a lot of like acne in weird places like on my arms, on my
chest, on my neck in some places that I wasn't expecting? I expected the
facial acne but not the overwhelming acne that I have been getting all over
my back and stuff. There's- I think there's been an increase in body hair I
guess? I don't know how else to phrase that sentence, like my legs seem to get
hairier, my stomach seems to get hairier.. Here seems to be picking up like
more hair like it starts- it looks like it's starting to get... like I'm starting to
words are hard but it's okay. You guys understand what I'm talking about. (I hope lmao)
One thing I have noticed is my emotions have definitely changed. How I
react to the world has changed.
I definitely feel like everything's been
toned down just a little. Like if I feel angry, I'm not as upset about it as I
think I would be. or if I should be excited about something, I'm not
really excited about it anymore. I think it's just kind of like toned down and
from what I felt, like all the emotions I have felt have been toned down just a
tad and I'm calmer, I'm more content.
The other day I was getting my blood drawn
and the lady called me by he pronouns. She corrected herself of course and said
she pronouns because she realized that's what was on my paperwork but it
was just- it was an- it was a new feeling that I don't think I've ever had a
stranger call me by he/him pronouns without knowing that I'm trans and it
was it was exciting but it was also me realizing that I have a much farther way
to go until it's a concrete situation where there won't be a hesitation in
anyone's mind and they'll just go straight to see him instead of like "oops
oh I'm- I'm sorry I mean- I mean she/her" I don't want that hesitation I want
people to be confident that I go by he/him pronouns and i definitely think the
voice will help that, I think once I start getting facial hair I think that
will definitely help like I think there'll be a shift there

you don't know what's behind the screen that you're talking to, you don't know
who's on the other side of your text message, who's on the other
side of your anonymous message, who's on the other side of your comment who's
on the other side the stranger's photo you took, you don't know the full
story and I think we need as a community, as a society need to keep that
in mind and- because when you send out that hate message or you post your
opinion and you don't know the full story it can really damage another
person especially hate especially like when you would purposefully go out of
your way to insult or hate someone, you don't know what's on the other side of
the screen. You don't know if they're on their last legs and it's important to
try and be positive and on that same notion- you don't know what's on the
other side of that screen, your friend might be having a horrible time and you
just need to be there for them and you need to support them and help others you
(but)also have to help yourself if helping someone else will destroy you
that's a battle and a choice you're gonna have to make. if you think it's
more important that you put yourself at risk for another human being go for it
but it might not be the best choice. (I don't mean to discourage you I just mean you need to pick your battles y'know)
I've been seeing a lot of hate I've been
seeing a lot of tragedies over the summer and I just wish we as a human
race would do more about it instead they're just sitting idly but there's no

Country singer Eric Church places blame on the NRA and gun lobbyists for last October's mass shooting in Las Vegas that left 58 dead.
Stephen Paddock, the lone shooter, shot from his Mandalay Bay hotel room at the crowd at the Route 91 Harvest music festival.
Church had headlined the show just two days prior to Paddock's rampage.
In an interview with Rolling Stone, Church said, "I blame the lobbyists.
And the biggest in the gun world is the NRA.".
Stephen Paddock, the lone shooter, shot from his Mandalay Bay hotel room at the crowd at the Route 91 Harvest music festival.
Church had headlined the show just two days prior to Paddock's rampage.
Here's what you need to know:.
Church Blames the NRA for the 2017 Las Vegas Shooting.
"There are some things we can't stop.
Like the disgruntled kid who takes his dad's shotgun and walks into a high school," Church said, before saying that the Vegas shooting was different, preventable.
In explaining why the Las Vegas shooting was different from others, Church seemed to take aim at Paddock's ability to amass an arsenal and bump stocks (Paddock owned 47 guns, 23 of which were found in his hotel room and 12 of those were fitted with bump stocks).
Bump stocks, legal attachments across most of the United States — for now — increase the rate of fire on semi-automatic rifles, effectively turning them into fully automatic weapons.
"I don't care who you are — you shouldn't have that kind of power over elected officials.
To me it's cut-and-dried: The gun-show [loophole] would not exist if it weren't for the NRA," Church said.
While the majority of Paddock's guns were purchased from stores across the southwest, in the initial aftermath of the attack, authorities were having trouble tracking guns that could have been bought at gun shows.
The gun-show loophole, as many have come to call it, refers to unlicensed firearms dealers selling guns to people at shows without a background check.
Licensed dealers must complete a background check on a potential customer before selling them a firearm.
Selling guns without a license, gun show or not, is not illegal.
Therefore, some background checks can be overlooked.
However, since most of Paddock's guns were purchased at stores, he submitted and passed numerous background checks.
Church has never been a member of the NRA and said, "if I was an NRA member, I would think I had more of a problem than the solution.
I would question myself real hard about what I wanted to be in the next three, four, five years.".
Church Recognizes That His Stance on the NRA Could Alienate Some Fans, But That's Fine With Him.
Country music has long been associated with conservatives and Republicans, who are more likely to be NRA members than their ideological counterparts.
So, it stands to reason that a portion of his fans are either NRA members or support the NRA.
Church said he doesn't care if he loses fans over his comments.
"Right's right and wrong's wrong.".
"I don't understand why we have to fear a group.
It's asinine.
Why can't we come together and solve one part of this? Start with the bump stocks and the gun shows.
Shut a couple of these down.
I do think that will matter a little bit.
I think it will save some lives," Church said.
Church Owns Six Guns & Considers Himself a "Second Amendment Guy".
In making his comments, Church made it clear that he doesn't oppose the second amendment.
He said he considers himself a "Second Amendment guy.".
"That's in the Constitution, it's people's right, and I don't believe it's negotiable. But nobody should have that many guns and that much ammunition and we don't know about it," Church said.
He went on to say that no one should have "21 AKs and 10,000 rounds of ammunition.".
Church's offhanded "AK" remark was probably made in reference to bump stocks.
AK-47s are fully automatic assault rifles.
Actual machine guns have been effectively banned in the United States for private citizens since the Firearm Owners Protection Act was put in place in 1986.
Church's feelings on stockpiling ammunition are closer to what actually happened in the case of the Vegas shooter.
Paddock fired 1,100 rounds into the crowd and had another 4,000 unused rounds in his hotel room.
Church Headlined the Harvest Festival Two Nights Before the Attack.
Church wasn't at the Harvest Festival during the attack (Jason Aldean was on stage), but he had just played the event two days prior on September 29.
It was his last show of the year.
He told Rolling Stone that it was one of the best shows he's played.
He found out about the shooting that took place two nights later on October 1 via text.
He said his first thought was, "I hope it's not our fans." He added, "We even promoted online travel options to make it easier for people to come.
I felt like the bait: People come to see you play, then all of a sudden they die.".
Some of the deceased were Church's fans.
Multiple members of Church's fan club were victims in the attack.
One of his deceased fans, Sonny Melton, made national news after his wife, Heather, buried him in an Eric Church teeshirt.
Church played a set at the Grand Ole Opry a week later, a show the Meltons had had tickets for.
"The reason I'm here tonight is because of Heather and Sonny, who died," Church said on stage.
"That night, something broke in me, on Sunday when that happened.
And the only way I've ever fixed anything that's been broken in me is with music, so I wrote a song for them.".
Church debuted his song "Why Not Me?" that night as a tribute to the Las Vegas shooting victims.

The competition is apparently on between Tori Roloff and Audrey Roloff.
On Father's Day this year, Audrey gushed and gushed and gushed over her husband, Jeremy,
praising him for his faith and his dedication to his family.
It was an incredibly sweet message.
But Tori may have just topped it.
On the occasion of her third wedding anniversary, Tori has gone ahead and made it impossible
for any other spouse to ever wish a happy anniversary to his or her spouse ever again.

Kobe and Jordan had a brotherly love relationship, but of course they were competitive, so when
in 2003 Jordan is making his last trip to Staples Center and scores 11 points including
a dunk off a steal in the first quarter giving the Wizards a lead, Kobe turned on the mamba
mentality.
Kobe would then score 23 straight points.
He would end with a franchise record 42 points in the first half including 8 3 pointers and
at one point 9 consecutive shots.
Years later on Jimmy Kimmel, Kobe said that Jordan was trash talking after the dunk in
the first quarter and so Kobe was not going to take that.
Kobe finished the game with 55 points and the Lakers got the dub. Jordan finished with
23 and even though he wasn't in his prime, Jordan got destroyed by Kobe and he did it
to himself.
I wonder though, if both Kobe and Jordan were in their primes, who would win in a 1 v 1?

half rebounds while destroying the Magic in 5 games.
Kobe Bryant would get his first finals MVP and shut all his haters up because he had

There was no denying that Kobe could lift a team through his style of leadership and
play and in the process, he had torched the Magic.
The Lakers had won by an average of 10 points per game and the Magic were struck by the
Black Mamba.

If I didn't include Kobe dropping 81 in this, I would be trippin'.
Kobe's 81 was one of the best examples of him straight up destroying his opponent.
On January 26, 2006, the Raptors would be up ahead against the Lakers in the 3rd quarter
by 18.
Kobe had already been giving the Raptors the work scoring 26 in the first half but it wasn't
enough.
With the Lakers featuring the likes of Smush Parker, Kobe took it in his own hands to will
his team.
Kobe dropped 27 in the 3rd quarter and by the end of the game, would have 81.
And it wasn't just simple inside the paint shots, Kobe was shooting over anyone who would
guard him, fading away, leaning, whatever!
Every single Raptors player would say that there was just no way to stop him.
Bosh said that they were just watching him shoot.
Kobe broke their spirits on his way to getting the Lakers a dub.
To me, it's crazy how Kobe can kick it up another gear, especially when challenged and
when he does kick it up another gear, I don't think there is anyone that could guard him.
I know a lot of people have Kobe in different places in their all time rankings and I get
that, but let's not forget about the time Kobe could absolutely destroy his opponent.

The show is expected to go on for the upcoming Demi Lovato documentary, but it's unclear when it will be
The singer's follow-up YouTube documentary is still moving forward despite her recent overdose, but it is on hold until she is ready to come back to the project, according to YouTube global head of originals Susanne Daniels
"It's in production," Daniels told IndieWire. "It's on hold right now. That's up to Demi what she wants to say and what she wants to do
" According to USA Today, the film was due to come out this fall but will now be bumped back until at least 2019

Asian Pantry Items for Back to School Lunches (including Kosher items) - Duration: 5:43.
hi everyone its melissa here from little kosher lunch I'm excited to see you
again and I am working on all kinds of projects when I haven't been on YouTube
so I'll have some other announcements coming for you soon about my channel and
other content but today I thought it was good to get back to basics and do
another grocery haul for you just to quickly recap the types of Asian things
that I'm stocking for my kitchen and pantry I did a big restock today because
I had run out of soy sauce of all things which was very depressing for my family
and we've been like scraping along so I went to the Asian supermarket today to
mostly buy non-perishable items for my pantry and a couple of things for the
freezer and in particular for those of you who keep strict kosher I wanted to
highlight the fact that I shop at many ethnic supermarkets
today it was the 99 Ranch Market but even the Latino supermarkets like
Vallarta and even like small corner stores there are so many products that
are labeled and supervised kosher products so for example my soy sauce the
Kikkoman brand soy sauce that I bought today has a kosher marking on it and the
same with with this kosher marked soy wrappers that I bought because I'm
getting ready to be restocked for camp lunches and school lunches to do sushi
which my family loves so the theme of this grocery haul really is especially
for those of you moms who are getting ready and into back-to-school mode if
your kids go back early you can be packing kosher or kosher style lunches
that are not like Jewish food or traditional European or American foods
but you can really do the ethnic foods that your family loves and still have
them comply and be kosher as long as you're not like sticking shrimp in your
sushi like I sometimes do at home so at the grocery store today I spent $63 it
was mostly because I stocked up on things like a giant soy sauce a giant
package of rice that I bought in a 15 pound quantity it lasts for a good long
while and I cook this in my rice cooker to make like a soft
sticky sushi type rice we also use it as our side dish rice for most of my
dinners and the other things that are really exciting that I got today that
are gonna be great and you'll see in my school lunches coming up soon are more
nori which I just am restocking there is a kosher variety that you can order on
Amazon that's called Seasnax and I'll link that up for you I got this really
fun multicolored soy wrapper to do little hand rolls for my daughter's
lunchbox and then today in addition speaking of like little wrapped things
I'm planning on doing a Vietnamese style summer rolls which is like a sort of
like an egg roll but not deep-fried you take a rice paper like this one you can
get it square or circular you dip it in boiling hot water or you know microwaved
hot water just dip it briefly and then you wrap up whatever you want to in a
little packet and we do that at our Vietnamese restaurant and we can do it
at home now I got the rice sticks noodles
for her that all fix up really quickly and then I can wrap up like shredded
vegetables you could do a piece of lunch meat in there and it's beautiful because
it's translucent so you can see what you've wrapped up in that rice paper and
that includes some type of dipping sauce either a soy-based or like a peanut
butter based if you have a school that allows nuts so that's like more
preparation for lunches coming up for you soon some other staples that I love
at the Asian market our digestive crackers you can get them McVitie's
brand which is the British brand at our Asian supermarket but I actually prefer
this one it has less processed stuff on the list of ingredients I got the cookie
selection is just so good I got these cookies these are a butter cookie so
they're a little dairy cookie they're not they're not marked kosher so kosher
style little cookie and these I'm going to be featuring in a video for you soon
about ice cream desserts along the same lines I picked
bananas to be having for banana splits including little baby bananas which are
so precious and fun to stick in a lunch box and then I also stocked up on our
golden curry mix which again this contains no meat it's not kosher per se
but if you're keeping kosher style this is a great like stew base that I use for
a lot of my dinners the last items I thought were ponzu sauce this one does
not have a kosher marking but it's great for dipping dumplings in in our
household I got some little baby bok choy which are so healthy and good and
then these were like the scorer of all scores
I thought all they had they're the little baby
croissants that they make at our bakery and I was not successful at saving and
freezing them last time because my children ate all of them immediately so
I got two packages and I'll stick one in my freezer and have one for little
miniature sandwiches and for breakfast so that is my $63 haul at the 99 ranch
there was also a little bakery item that I've already eaten on there on my
receipt so some of the groceries disappeared quickly but looking forward
to more content for you for the Fall let me know what's on your mind for
back-to-school and lunch packing needs and I'll have some exciting

HOW TO MAKE COCONUT YOGURT - Duration: 4:44.Hi and welcome to Steve's kitchen by the end of this recipe you're going to learn
how to make a delicious and thick super thick coconut yogurt and its rich and
full of probiotics. Now we've been doing a few good stomach recipes over the last
week we got that lovely sauerkraut, the german sauerkraut, the fermented cabbage,
which was really delicious and then we did the buttermilk as well last weekend.
Today we're taking it up a notch, something super delicious, strap yourself
in and learn with me how to make a delicious coconut yogurt. You'll see I've
got a variety of coconut milks and creams here and I've experimented with
them all so you don't have to. Now you'd have thought that a thick coconut cream
would work better than a coconut milk but I can tell you from my experimenting
the milk makes a nicer yogurt. It's just the right sort of texture, they both work
by the way. Now I've gone for a pure coconut milk by the way there's nothing
else in here, many of them do have emulsifiers and different additives in
it, doesn't matter they do all work. This particular brand that I found is perfect,
they are little Diddy tins but they're just the perfect size for me. Now whether
it comes in a can or a carton first thing you want to do. Let's give this a
good shake up, break up the fats, any solids that are in the top of the can
and then everything after this is pretty simple. Crack open the lid, pull that top
off and you'll see with the shake-up there are no solids on the top. Now we
take this coconut milk, now I've put the coconut milk into a glass jar just so
that you can see what I'm doing but a little tip here you could just do it
straight in the can it makes no difference. Now many of you will know the
cultures we use to make a dairy yogurt they grow naturally in milk but we don't
want to introduce these if we're going to go dairy free, so I've got some
probiotics, these are little capsules you can get in most chemists or supermarkets.
They're very simple, so simple little capsules, as you would find in any tablet
form. Take your little capsule give it a squeeze, a little twist and all those
little probiotics will come out. Just pour it on top of the coconut milk and
then just take a teaspoon and give this a good stir through. Now
these are the natural healthy probiotics that you find in the stomach and when
you put them into your coconut yogurt like this at room temperature they are
actually going to bloom. They're going to multiply, it's going to take a couple of
days for them to make a very thick yogurt. Now initially I'm going to leave
this for 24 hours, a little bit of muslin or cheesecloth over the top, just to keep
the dust out. In 24 hours time you're going to uncover your coconut yogurt and
what you're going to notice is there's often a little bit of coconut water at
the bottom and it will have started to thicken slightly. Not as thick as a
normal yogurt, although we're starting to get there, you can see but on the first
day what I like to do is just give this a stir through. Just to bring the coconut
water back into the milk. Cover it over and we're going to leave this at room
temperature for another day and by then it's going to be a lovely thick yogurt, a
little bit like a Greek yogurt. Now different temperatures around the house
will mean that this will take slightly varied times to actually finish but
don't worry it could be within one day or two days, it's certainly going to set.
Now by the second day, you just look how beautiful and thick this yogurt has set
and you can eat it just like this, I'll give it a try. My that is so delicious.
Now if you set that in the fridge for a little while it will set super firm like
a really dense Greek yogurt and I would serve this with some fresh fruits or as
I'm going to do now, I've got this wonderful homemade lemon curd, which is just a
great combination. Now just look at that, I think the combination of lemon curd
and coconut yogurt, you just can't beat it. Having said that I'd love to hear if
you've got a better combination but here goes, I'm going to tuck in and give this a
try.
Wow that is heavenly, it is so, so good. I love it. Now the reason we made this with
the probiotics also was to keep it completely lactose free and it still
tastes really delicious, so if you're intolerant towards any milk products.
This is the yogurt for you, oh it's so good, I'm going in for a second helping

Kim Dong-Yoon Dead: 'Mix Nine' & Spectrum Star Dies at 20 | Heavy.com
Kim Dong Yoon, a K-Pop star from Spectrum and Mix Nine, has died at the age of 20.
His death was confirmed in a statement from WYNN Entertainment.
The statement read, "The bereaved family, Spectrum members, and WYNN Entertainment family are all grieving the deceased, who so suddenly passed.
The family will be held quietly according o the will of the bereaved family." Kim Dong Yoon's cause of death has not been made public.
Speaking to Korean media, an official from WYNN Entertainment asked the media to "refrain from irrational speculation" regarding the singer's passing.
He turned 20 on June 3.
Xports News in South Korea reports that Dong Yoon died on July 27.
The other members of Spectrum are Minjae, Dongkyu, Jaehan, Hwarang, Villain and Eunjun.
Dong Yoon debuted with the band in May 2018 with their song, "Light It Up," according to Soompi.
The song was released on May 9.
All K Pop reports that the band is due to release their debut album, Be Born.
That article refers to Dong Yoon as gaining "a lot of popularity while on [Mix Nine].
A longer statement from WYNN Entertainment read, "Our agency's artist and Spectrum member Kim Dong Yoon left our side on July 27.
His family members, Spectrum members, and all the staff at WNNY Entertainment are grieving with a heavy heart over this sudden sad news.
We are so heartbroken and sorry to be conveying this sad news to Dong Yoon's fans, who sincerely loved and generously encouraged him.
According to the wishes of the family of the deceased, his funeral will be quietly.
We express our condolences for his final path.".
Mix Nine is a South Korean survival-based reality show that Dong Yoon made his first appearance on in December 2017 rather than join up with the band Spectrum.
He would join the band after his elimination from the show.
Dong Yoon made it all the way to the show's final episode which aired in January 2018.
Dong Yoon told Top Star News in an interview in May 2018 about his time on the show saying, "It was so hard to practice and I couldn't sleep at the time, but I was so proud of it after I came out.
When I was on stage, it was a great feeling… It's amazing to be an entertainer.".
