let's begin to talk about korean fashion

finally, and i would like to start

before split everything for seasonal categories

i would like to start with the evergreen

it reminds me when i went to Messina

anyway, remember to bring with you flip-flops when you came here in korea

let's strt with winter, because in January

has flower on it,

i think they bring out all their dresses...

you know, dresses of Forever 21, with all flowers

... those ones. Every woman has these dresses with flowers

so, if you came in spring time,

decorate yourself with flowers

summer, is the moment in which

males continue with striped shirts, since is

a summer/spring evergreen

but especially, summer time is the moment in which

pop up couple shoots, couple everything...

i mean, these were before as well, these couple lutz

but mainly in summer time these exploding

and you may ask "what are couple lutz?"

you need to know that in korea is widespread for couples get dressed in the same way

and for get dressed in the same way i mean

get dressed .... just...

the same!

i mean, there isn't a small similarity,

but completely the same

i saw also couples with the same haircut, the girl has the same haircut as the boy

to be completely in line, so just to say... how beautiful it is!

girls are more dressed in summer than in winter, just saying

now let's begin with the autumn

autumn became the season a little bit... just like.. s**t

mainly because you can only see brown colors.

in autumn is brown

2 economic brands and 2 fancy brands

that exist in Italy

starting with Zara, I have to say that in Korea

it costs a little bit... more

generally, about 10% higher

so, i don't know if it'll be good for you

go to Zara in Korea

but if you live here for 2 years, sooner or later, you will go there

indeed, H&M is similar with prices

i don't know why Zara costs more and H&M have same prices

for fancy brands

because i had to buy a ring for a friend's birthday

i compared the price with italian ones

and i think "oh wow, Gucci have same prices in Korea, so i'll buy everything"

i went to search info

for a belt... there is a belt of Gucci that i want, no matter what it takes

it's too wonderful!

i ask for the price

and I stand speechless, since i saw the price

on Gucci italian store, and it was a little bit different

effectively, going to check it out

i found out that

that belt on Gucci Italia

costs

295 euros

i mean, there are a lot of money, but is Gucci, guys

indeed, in Korea

it costs 480 euros

euros. I mean, It cost twice more

it's not possible

it's not feasible

fancy brands, to me, are better in Italy

that's for sure

because i also checked out Louis Vuitton and the matter is the same

Louis vuitton costs too much compared with Italy

so i think

it's better forget them if you come here in Korea for shopping

generally, it's better buying korean brands

and exist a lot of brands

similar to H&M and Zara

particularly, there is a brand named 8seconds

maybe is the most similar

to H&M and Zara's style

i really like it, and prices are

similar of our cheap brands

there is also a store more cheap, named (?)

and as i showed you

in Barbie video

there are a lot of buildings

with a lot of shops

where people can.. trade the price

so there are things very cheap

but remember

if it costs too few, maybe there is a reason

and can ruin your full wardrobe

with only one washing machine, so i'm warning you

Hi travellers!

Welcome to this new video!

Today we take you with us to Helsinki!

We had already been in Helsinki last year,

on January so...

it was freezing.

We had less than a day to visit the capital of Finland,

so what did we do?

We promised to come back as soon as possible,

and do it in the hot months,

to see the "other" face of the city.

And that's what we did.

I had a dream that I will explain to you during the video,

that I had not been able to realize during the previous trip,

so we came back for that reason too.

So, ready?LET'S GO!

Attracted by the exhibition dedicated to Street Art,

we are now at the HAM,

Helsinki Art Museum.

And the museum's slogan is that "Art is popcorn for the mind".

And with this it wins big.

But the other fantastic thing is that for children

there is a backpack that contains material for various activities

that they can do during the visit to the museum,

in this case related to street art.

A great thing, typically Scandinavian,

is that in all the museums, wherever you go, there is always space to play with children,

so you can enjoy the exhibitions and the kids do not get bored.

Now we are on Vallisaari island.

Up until two years ago, 2016,

it was a military island,

with military barracks, soldiers, etc.

but now it has been transformed into a nature park,

in fact, on the pier when we arrived there was a snake ...

We are leaving the island of Suomenlinna.

And so...

when we arrived the weather was not so good,

and it seemed like a ghost town, a ghost island.

But when the sun came out,

we started to appreciate it slowly.

Lunag Ri – David Lama & Conrad Anker walk the line - Duration: 35:19.

Yesterday, shortly before Conrad was flown out to Kathmandu,

he said he was probably not going to come back to try this mountain,

What about that lower stuff? It's bare rock.

We have now chosen a really steep wall to get to the ridge

for the simple reason that the flatter parts are too exposed to rocks and ice falling

On the first day we want to get up to the ridge and follow it from there.

This means more mixed climbing and ice climbing,

that will ultimately lead us to the summit, hopefully.

And the most precious thing of all:

Two brand new lighters, never used.

That's good stuff. Bic – those are the best.

Somehow you get the feeling that Conrad has the right gadget for everything

When you're up here and you look around to Cho Yu and to Everest just over there,

Lhotse, Nuptse,

you can't help but be in awe of nature

and the forces that create the Himalayas.

The 6000 meter peaks in the Khumbu, there's a certain allure,

because they have a certain symmetry and geometry,

they're primarily granitic,

so they're the good rock, the type of rock that you wanna seek out.

When we reached the ridge we realized it was going to be dark soon

but we also knew we had to keep at it if we wanted to make it to the top the next day, so

we kept pushing as far as we could.

I lead another two pitches on the ridge

that were quite demanding, because we couldn't get any protection into the snow,

and it was sketchy for climbing, too.

How ist it going, Conrad?

It was already dark when we found a spot for the bivy.

I found a crevasse where we could fit the tent after digging for maybe two hours.

It still saved us a lot of digging time, that little hole for the tent.

The next day we got up at two in the morning

and climbed the first pitches in the dark. It all went very smoothly.

But up on the ridge, we ran into some really bad snow and no ice for protection,

so we had to climb a few 100 meter pitches,

which means the lead climber climbs until he is out of rope and then the other follows.

So, when both are climbing at the same time, you wanna make sure

that one is on the right side of the ridge and the other one on the left,

so that the ridge is the actual belay, in case someone falls.

Do you mind following a few meters? – Okay!

Careful with the rope! There are rocks there!

When we saw how long and difficult the ridge actually is

especially the last 300, 400 meters,

I think that's when it dawned on us that this might not be working out.

Still, we kept pushing on until late in the afternoon,

but at some point we had to decide if we wanted to keep trying,

At first we played with some ideas like digging in at the summit or on the ridge

to wait through the night and continue the next day,

I feel like even if we dig in today

we might be able to make it up to he summit tomorrow

but it's gonna be a lot colder, more wind, and

the worst part is,

that I have my doubts that we make it back from the summit,

like climb the summit from here and get back to he tent.

Fuck!

I don't wanna say it, but I feel like we should go down.

What's your feeling?

I'm in the same boat.

But in the end going back to the bivy was the only right decision.

It was quite a challenge in itself.

There's no way we could have survived a night out there.

Giving it our best? Yes. Giving it our best. Giving it all?

That's the end of the day.

23 pitches.

That's a tougher, bigger mountain than we are.

Mountains win.

The day that we got down to the base camp, the morning after, I found out

that a friend of mine who was over at Tao Che had died,

so at that point,

at that point the real cost of what we are doing out here were apparent

and I didn't wanna play that hand with my family

I don't think losing our fingers and toes would have been the worst case scenario,

I think that would have been realistic, something to be reckoned with.

This surely would not have ended well.

When I think of Nepal I don't think of the mountains in the first place

I don't think of Everest.

I think of the steep, green terraces around the village my father grew up in.

I was in this classroom 35 years ago. – funny how nothing has changed.

It still looks the same.

Beautiful. I like it. A rebirth. Again.

I was neither proud of having part of my family in Nepal nor did I deny it,

but at some point I suppose you just ask yourself: How did I actually become

who I am today?

After last year's failed attempt and turning around 300 meters underneath the summit

the project has evolved. We put a lot of thought into it and prepared better,

and we also grew closer as a team.

Not climbing at all with Conrad Anker.

Just laying there. – Chilling out

It's nice, cause you know, it requires a certain amount of attention,

a little bit of attention but not, like you know, you have to train.

Yeah, but I think your littel bit of attention and my little bit of attention –

there's a little bit of a difference.

I mean there's nothing I can teach David in terms of climbing.

He is a way better climber than I ever was at my best, so he is the next generation.

But there is pacing and the way that we approach the mountain.

You have to trust your partner and when you have the right partner

you can hopefully do great things.

This ist he edge of cutting, the cutting edge of alpine climbing.

That's the real stuff out there. Hold on for the ride.

When we got going, the conditions were much better than the year before.

There was more ice in the wall and the rock was less covered in snow,

so it was really good and I was leading the first four pitches

an then another one on top of it.

But at the belay I realized that something was wrong.

Conrad took extremely long; he didn't seem well.

Just before the anchor he had to lean against the wall a few times,

and that's when I realized there was something severely wrong.

So I told him to take his time and climb up slowly, which he did.

At the belay he had to lie down immediately. He said his lungs and his heart were hurting.

The situation is this: Conrad doesn't feel well.

He feels weak and has had to push himself hard for the last couple of pitches.

We're now going to rappel down and get back to base camp.

Well, I always wondered when I was gonna get the message

that it's time to let go of this game

and I think I got it.

Hey Conrad...

I really think we should call the heli.

I don't think that's a question really.

I will call Jiban.

Yeah, my lips are numb and my left arm is numb

and those are indications of a heart attack.

Let's call the heli immediately. – OK.

Yes. Can you hear me?

Ok, perfect. Jiban: So we're having a problem up here.

Conrad isn't feeling well

because it seems like he could have a heart attack,

so we need an immediate helicopter rescue from ABC.

If somebody is hanging in a wall at almost 6000 meters, 500 meters above the ground,

and there's something wrong with his heart, then there is no reason to be disappointed.

There is only one thing: Get Down!

Well, now I'm here all by myself,

and I'm constantly thinking

that it's theoretically possible to do this mountain alone.

With different gear, maybe, a little lighter and on a different route,

with the necessary adjustments,

but in principle it's feasible, even if the chances are not getting better, exactly.

All by myself I knew I had no chance trying the same route because it's just too demanding,

so I chose an easier line that is slightly more dangerous.

I started out around midnight to avoid potential ice and rock fall.

I climbed until sunrise and arrived at camp 1,

I took a break in a little crevasse. I set up the tent, cooked water and ate something.

It's not gonna be real cozy tonight, but the good thing is: My cough is getting better.

I only had to drink something warm.

I continued climbing on the second day, about 100, 150 meters

up to the `Toblerone', a distinctive rock formation on the ridge.

That's where I stared belaying,

and during the second day I slowly kept working my way up.

Slowly, because I had to climb up, build an anchor,

and then go back down again to get the backpack,

because it was just too demanding to do it with a pack and without protection.

We're now past the Toblerone pitch.

Up next is the awesome Dry-Tool-pitch,

first on the Nepalese side, then on the Tibetan side.

On top you can see the head wall and the summit.

Now I am approximately

30, 40 meters from the high point Conrad and me reached last year,

and I'm going to set up the tent here because this damned backpack is killing me.

I could do this all very easily if it wasn't for the backpack.

From the last belay to here it was maybe 10 meters.

It took me over an hour with the backpack.

And tomorrow it is not getting any easier.

And when I stand on the summit, I'll be totally exhausted,

and can't go back or forth.

So I'm thinking: This ends here.

Because moving on

would probably be suicide.

Brutal.

The summit was the goal. No doubt about it.

If the summit is not the goal for a mountaineer

you might as well go scuba diving

or do something else. That's just the way it is.

You once told me, the real goal is to push your limits...

Well, that's the result, anyway, no?

I don't think I have ever pushed harder.

So... now it's after the climb. What feelings do you have now?

Feelings are something so ephemeral, you know?

You can't sum up being alone on the mountain with just one feeling.

It's 100.000 feelings.

So please leave me alone with your feelings.

Guendouzi's quality.He was good against Atletico Madrid on Thursday, but Matteo Guendouzi was even better against PSG on Saturday night

The young French midfielder has had a fabulous tour and his performances must be pushing him towards the front of Unai Emery's thinking in terms of the Manchester City match

Sitting just in front of the back four, Guendouzi gives a real balance to this Arsenal team

He constantly wants the ball off the defenders and seems to have total confidence in his ability when in possession, even when under pressure

And his passing ability is hugely impressive. Whether it's spraying perfect 50 yard passes like the one in the first half that sent Aubameyang clear, or its fizzing low balls through the lines to find the likes of Mesut Ozil or Henrikh Mkhitaryan, he seems equally adept at both

When he was signed from Laurent for just £8 million, Unai Emery said the youngster was in his first-team plans for the coming season

On this evidence, you can see why. The big Aubameyang question.He may not have scored, but Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang was electric in the first half when playing as the central striker

Constantly playing on the shoulder of the last defender, he caused PSG all sorts of problems with his pace and power

And his movement created all sorts of space for Ozil, Mkhitaryan and Alex Iwobi to run in to

But in the second half, once Alexandre Lacazette came on, Aubameyang was nowhere near as effective when playing out on the left

Can you really have one of Europe's most prolific striker's operating on the wing? It's the big question that Unai Emery will have to answer

The problem is, Lacazette went on to score twice - showing just how clinical he is in and around the penalty area

So ideally you want to have both players on the pitch at the same time. But in doing so, does that take away a huge part of Aubameyang's game? The captain situation

Unai Emery stated once again after the game that he wants five captains in his squad - as well as Laurent Koscielny

He listed Mesut Ozil, Aaron Ramsey and Petr Cech as candidates, while also saying he is looking for 'one or two' more

That's all well and good, but the fact is Arsenal play Manchester City on August 12 and someone is going to have to pen the captain's notes for the match day programme

So Emery has to make a decision quickly as who will officially take the armband, if it isn't going to be Koscielny - who will not play again until December at the earliest

The credibility of the captain's armband has dipped slightly at Arsenal in recent years, with the armband usually being taken by someone who isn't playing much football

It would be good to see that change this season. So Emery has to whittle down his list of five, to one

Arsenal's high press.It's been really notable watching Arsenal during this tour just how much they are trying to press high up the pitch

It's something Emery and his coaching staff have been trying to drill into the players from the start of pre-season - and we are already seeing the fruits of that on the pitch

Aubameyang, Ozil, Mkhitaryan and Iwobi were all putting pressure on the PSG defenders whenever they were in possession, looking to turn the ball over

Guendouzi and Mohamed Elney were doing the same, if the front four had been bypassed

It's encouraging to watch and Arsenal are only going to get better at it the more it is drilled into them on the training pitches at London Colney

Kolasinac's moment of madness This tour was a good opportunity for Sead Kolasinac to really throw down a marker to Nacho Monreal in the battle for the left-back spot

But, in truth, the Bosnian hasn't done that. It's been a big missed opportunity for the former Schalke man

The goal against Atletico Madrid came down his side and then the decision he made to lunge in on Timothy Weah in the second half against Paris Saint Germain was simply ridiculous

He was never gaining to get the ball, it was obvious that the only outcome would be that he would foul Weah and give away a penalty

It was a crazy decision from an international defender. One that will no doubt had been noted by Emery and his coaching staff

PICKUPS 16: Games + Hardware + Stuff | Ep. 150 - Duration: 11:31.

Hey, guys!

Welcome back!

It's been a while since my last pickups video, so, let's take a look at my video

game related finds from the last 120 days, or something!

Come on!

So, let's start with a couple of Retro Gamer Magazines, the Spanish edition,

these ones are the number 22 and 23

featuring Super Mario Sunshine on the cover of number 22

and Sonic on the number 23.

As I said on another pickups video, I love this version of Retro Gamer, 'cause they

focus a lot on the Spanish golden age of video gaming, back from the 80s and early 90s.

I grew up playing a ton of Spanish games on my ZX Spectrum, so the Spanish Retro Gamer

is more nostalgic for me than the English original.

Now, and moving on to games, I must first highlight that 90% of these recent pickups are racing games!

Come on!

So, let's start with Gravel, for the PC, that was released back in March

and that I finished in about 5 or 6 hours.

A really easy and fun little racer from Milestone that brought back a lot of memories from the

2007 Sega Rally and even DiRT 2 from 2009!

I've already reviewed it, so, if you want to know more about Gravel,

just click on the annotation on the top right of the screen.

Still, for the current gen, I've finally managed to grab Trials Fusion for my PS4,

this Awesome Max Edition containing all DLCs and stuff!

I grabbed it for the PC when it came out, but it's a digital copy, and made a review

back in the early days of the channel!

Feel free to check that episode also!

I absolutely love this game and the complete franchise!

I'm always trying to grab every game from the Trials franchise!

And a new one is coming! Yeah!

Really looking forward to that one!

The whole franchise, and this in particular, is one of those games

that we pick up and play for 5 minutes and we're done!

We can forget about it and move on with our lives!

Yeah! You know?

Another one that I already had in my collection, but on digital format

is Burnout Paradise, this version is the Ultimate Box

for the PlayStation 3, that is running right in that screen over there,

and it's from Criterion Games, you can't go wrong with Criterion stuff!

I guess that, from the entire Burnout franchise, this was the one that I played less.

It didn't grab me immediately like the first three games did.

Don't quite know why…

As I said, I also have it on Steam and that was the one I played when it was first released

back in 2008.

My kid just loves soccer games, so I had to grab, on a budget and for the PlayStation 3,

Pro Evolution Soccer 2018.

It was a gift for another successful year at school, so he deserves it.

Nothing special to point out in relation to other recent Pro Evolution Soccer games.

It's one more Pro Evolution Soccer game

and the last one to feature the UEFA Champions League.

As you know, the Champions League is going to FIFA.

Now, and thanks to Helder from the channel K-Games, I managed to grab a mint

copy of Gran Turismo 6 that was also missing from my collection.

And an amazing feature is that, after all the tons of updates, stereoscopic 3D is also

available!

It was a feature that came in Gran Turismo 5, but it felt a bit short and lifeless,

you know?

As for GT6, I'm having a blast playing it in 3D!

Amazing stuff!

And the game is gorgeous!

No doubt!

Now moving on to the Xbox 360, here's Need For Speed Shift developed by the same

guys that, nowadays, have offered us, racing fans, the Project Cars series.

I already have Shift 2, on the PC, and simply had to grab the first one, 'cause I want

to make something related to the series and the developer, also.

Both are amazing games, but a bit underrated in my opinion.

Now for the original Xbox I picked Total Immersion Racing.

Just played this game recently to capture footage for this pickups video and I always

intrigued by it every time I came across it in stores like CEX.

Never researched stuff related to this game and never read reviews in magazines or watched

videos on YouTube, so it was really my first try with Total Immersion Racing.

At the beginning I thought I was facing a simulator, but it isn't.

It's a mixed bag of stuff.

For starters, cars are indestructible, but I find the racing and competitive aspect

really good!

And, on top of that, it also sounds great!

Have to play it a bit more!

Now for a non-racing game:

here's Brothers in Arms: Road to Hill 30!

The first game from the franchise, from the Brothers in Arms franchise, amazing franchise!

Played a ton back in the day, this one and the two sequels that followed,

but on the PC.

I absolutely love them all!

The squad based mechanics in this World War II setting was extremely well implemented

and based on a true story of a parachute infantry regiment that was dropped behind enemy lines

on D-Day and I recall that it was a really emotional experience!

We really cared for the characters that absolutely felt real!

Something quite unusual when it came out!

Now, for the PlayStation 2, a game that I was after for quite a while

and that I just managed to grab a copy in extremely mint condition:

it's Enthusia Professional Racing, from Konami

that I've just recently brought to the channel

on that "Top 6" or... not top! On that "Another 6 (or 8) PS2 Exclusive Games" video

As said,

It was the first and last racing game coming from Konami and, sadly, they've opted to

release it right when Polyphony Digital was also releasing the highly anticipated

Gran Turismo 4.

It's not as demanding as GT4, nor as good, but it's, with no doubt, a pretty good experience.

Now, to conclude, a few older PC games, just like Men of Valor.

I've always been a fan of war games based on historical events, like in the first games

from the Medal of Honor and Call of Duty franchises.

As for Men of Valor, it takes us back to Vietnam and offers all sorts of missions, from recon

patrons, POW rescue, search-and-destroy operations, pilot rescues, etc.

If I recall correctly, it wasn't very well received, both the PC and Xbox versions.

By the way, I loved this game so much that I also have it on my Xbox collection!

I simply don't care what other people say!

Man, I loved it!

Another game that I absolutely loved back when it was released was Operation Flashpoint:

Cold War Crisis, from Bohemia and published by Codemasters.

This is the Gold Edition, that, besides the main game, features Red Hammer: The Soviet

Campaign and the always useful Prima Strategy Guide.

Awesome!

I recall that this game was critically acclaimed for its realism, and being able to simulate

military conflict situations on PC, its technology was even adapted as a special training

application for real soldiers!

Indeed!

This game really left a huge mark on me as a gamer in the beginning of this new millennium

and I simply couldn't stop playing it!

An awesome addiction to my collection.

And, to conclude, you know that, just recently, I managed to grab - finally grab -

the complete Screamer franchise,

on these two big boxes,

the series that really brought fame to Milestone back in mid 90s.

I now have all the tools to make a retrospective to the Screamer franchise,

obviously excluding Screamer 4x4, that also came bundled, but is not part of this franchise.

So, inside of this Injection Pack comes the very first Screamer, an Upgrade to Screamer 2 and

Screamer Rally.

And, along with it, came the standalone version of Screamer 2 and, as said, Screamer 4x4

this "Sold Out" version

that was a sort of offspring of the series, developed by another studio

and that I've already reviewed.

Also, feel free to check my review of this one!

Besides this, a friend recently donated to the channel a Macintosh LC from 1992 and a

Pentium II machine from '98, along with a 17'' monitor and a couple of Samsung

Speakers that I want to test in a future video.

Excellent figure. They did fantastic job with this figure.

I really liked the transformation. Nice and fun to do transformation. Smart engineering.

Very nice headsculpt. I also like all these sculpted details on his chest.

He looks very good! If I didn't have the leader class version I would totally buy this one!

It is worth the money!

As for the articulation, the head can fully rotate. It can look up, it cannot look down.

The arm can move up this far. It can bend from this joint here.

It can also bend from this joint here. There is rotation at this point.

There is rotation over here as well. It can bend at this point.

It can bend at this point as well. There is hand rotation and it can bend inwards.

Also, the hand can bend at this point as well so as you understand, the arms have excellent articulation!

Very good articulation on the arms! No waist rotation due to the design of the figure.

The legs can move upwards this far.

Backwards.

Sideways this far.

The leg can rotate from this joint here.

The knees can bend at this point here. They can bend forward from this joint here.

There is also toe articulation, they can move downwards, like this.

Generally, Starscream has good articulation. I really like him!

They did great job with this figure! Now, about the storage place of his gun.

You can place it on the side of his arm.

You can place it here on his back and it will look like this.

You can also place it on these holes here.

But the right way is to close the hand inwards, like this.

And connect it in these holes.

They have many similarities.

Both of them are excellent figures!

So let's transform Starscream back into his aeroplane mode.

Final thoughts... excellent figure! Both of his modes are very beautiful!

Good articulation and very good representation of Starscream from the movies!

If you want a Starscream figure based on the first movie, then this version is a very good choice!
