because we've heard some of the parameters that you have laid out for
the president sitting down in an interview with Special Counsel what does
Special Counsel want from you what are some
the guidelines they've given you what are they requesting from you from the
president I can't go into all the details number one because that you want
to keep it as pill it's not privileged but it's confidential as possible
and second they keep changing I mean it's a negotiation so keeps changing but
the central parameters of it are and we believe they're not entitled to ask any
questions about obstruction because obstruction is can't could not have
happened under article 2 of the Constitution the President had a right
to fire call me he's got ten good reasons
he can't go try to construct the 11th good reason and now they're trying to do
it by looking at tweets I've never heard of obstruction by tweet or the theater
of the absurd if they want to talk about collusion which as I told you we're very
clear on we would we would we might allow the questions on that we didn't
think they were trying to trap them into perjure and that's what we do it
negotiating if there's some area where we can visually agree it'll be helpful

matter is there are a lot of people both sides of whatever political aisle that
you might draw who say and the legal profession separating out the politics
should be crazy to put your client into a situation when you know that he's not
economic with his words and it might get a little dicey and who would do that
with their clients so would you have separated the two hats that you wear
because you were formerly a politician mayor that's great city I understand
that I want to go back real quickly just to some points I'd like it if you
represent a doctor you got to be aware of the fact you represented a doctor
sure you can't pretend you're not and and also also he would not be testifying
and normally as you know defendants don't testify in grand juries or the
prosecutors right make up their mind without that why why are you just going
back to something you just said post Melissa's question why do you feel it's
necessary to get on the record with things that haven't been asked yet or
that are not what yeah what's coming well when I thought when I thought when
I thought it was gonna be published I wanted to get out in front of it and the
reality is that I can't I can't comment on the tape unless or the situation
unless we are attacked then I'm allowed to do that so we weren't being attacked
and I would actually I would actually be much my advice would be a lot easier if
every one of those tapes was out there if you had all the transcripts so can I
get two straight though because you know the reporting this morning is that
there's only one recording with the president's voice on it yet you talked
about and I wrote it down 183 tapes or recordings what is on those that would
be so different if they don't contain the President and even if you don't name
names and you probably can't it's it's a big question it is but it's easy dampen
there are only twelve recordings of any substance 1183 yeah the other the others
