The Wolf and the Lamb
A wolf finds a Sheep cub drinking water in a river
He decided not to show him his violent instinct
He then decided to present arguments to justify why that lamb
deserved to be devoured
Ah, your handler! I remember that last year you grossly insulted me!
that's not possible!
replied lamb with a choked voice
Last year I was not even born
then the wolf replied
Did you feed on the my grass
Not my good sir! replied the lamb
At that time I had not even tasted grass!
again the wolf said
You're getting water from the river that I drink
No!
exclaimed the lamb
the current bringing water falling from your mouth
It's coming my way!
At that moment the wolf attacked the lamb jumping on it and said
Well, I will not run out of food just because you deny every reason I present
Moral of the story
For those who want to practice injustice no fair defense will have value

3 Things You Need to Know About Empty Nest Syndrome - Duration: 5:29.
3 Things You Need to Know About Empty-nest Syndrome.
Even though life can be full of unexpected changes,
empty-nest syndrome is a must, and all parents must be always set to embrace this phenomenon
characterized by emptiness and sadness.
Empty-nest syndrome isn't a clinical diagnosis, but a post-parental period, boredom and the
feeling of loss when children-turned-young-adults begin to move out of the family home,
either for school or to settle on their own.
Human beings are the only creatures on earth that allow their children to come back home
– Bill.
Imagine the feelings, when you being the first kid of the family move out at age 18.
Parents might be finding it hard to believe you could adequately take good care of yourself.
Or being the last child of the family, bidding goodbye to mum and dad.
Profound sense of loss that might make them vulnerable to depression could set in.
The popular global health insurance service company, CIGNA HealthCare postulated that
family life cycles have five stages:
Independence from your parents.
Settling down with a partner.
Becoming a parent to your own children.
Launching your adult children into their own independence stage.
Your retirement years.
Although this grief of separation is serious, but there are things you must know in order
not to be caught aware by this transition from full house to an Empty-nest,
and as well as to get over the difficulty in adjusting to an Empty-nest.
Indeed, there abounds some things no one ever tells you about this post-parental period.
#1 - Empty-nest can promote relationships.
In a research carried out by Psychologist Karen L Fingerman PhD, author of Aging Mothers
and Their Adult Daughters; students were surprised on how his research proved them wrong.
"Students always think their parents are doing worse now that they're gone.
Of course, you want to think that when you move out, your mom must be devastated, but
that's not validated by the research."
Fingerman's study indeed prove that parents feel a sense of loss when their nests empty,
but, increased satisfaction and improved relationships do occur.
An unprecedented number of mothers now work outside the home, giving them a role beyond
that of parent, Rebecca A Clay wrote in the American Psychological Association journal.
In his 2000 research published in the Journals of Gerontology: Psychological Sciences and
Social Sciences (Vol. 55, No. 2).
Fingerman says:
"The empty-nest syndrome doesn't exist in the way it has been portrayed in the popular
literature.
People do miss their children, but, based on what I've seen in my research, what happens
is actually the opposite of the empty-nest syndrome."
"People may worry about losing their child when the child leaves home," says Fingerman.
"In fact, they're not.
They're going to have a more mature, more emotionally meaningful and deeper relationship
with them to look forward to."
#2 - Motherhood is an evolution.
Distance doesn't have to be a barrier for you being a mother to your children, now the
little decisions you once help them make has given way to bigger life decisions.
Dr Phil McGraw, a Los Angeles mental health professional recommends parenting from a distance
and in a different way.
"Say, 'I'm not going to stop being their mom, I'm just moving to the next phase.
I'm going to start being their resource, I'm going to be their soft place to fall
on the phone, on weekends and I'm going to become a mentor in a different phase in
their life.'
It's just ever changing.
You're not going to stop being an involved mom, you're just going to change phases."
#3 - The Empty-nest would be refilled.
Linda L Bips, an assistant professor of psychology at Muhlenberg College in Allentown reports
huge increase in parental involvement in college students' lives.
"Parents are much more involved with their children now."
At Muhlenberg, an ever-increasing number of parents are attending their children's plays
and sporting events, becoming part of the parents' association and finding other ways
to continue their involvement in their children's lives," reports Bips who is the author of
Parenting College Freshmen.
Robin, Dr Phil's wife cautioned that our children aren't moving away from us, but
are moving toward their own life.
She added that, to deal with not physically seeing your child, consider getting computers
with web cams, rather than demanding visits from them which
might obstruct their success whenever they notice how bad Empty-nest is treating you.
Well, those are the 3 things you need to know about empty-nest syndrome.
Really cool information isn't it?

The Best Veggie Burger Recipe – Better Than Store-bought - Duration: 4:36.
We're Adam and Joanne from inspiredtaste.net and welcome to our kitchen.
We are making our veggie burgers.
These are packed with good for you ingredients.
When we were coming up with the recipe, we really wanted to pack in as many veggies as
we could.
We didn't want them just to be a bean burger, we wanted to actually have vegetables in there.
So we use beans as a base, but we add mushrooms and carrots and onions and broccoli and spinach
and herbs and garlic.
There's so many good things.
And it comes together in a really well formed patty that is just so good.
Look at that burger.
Oh, it looks so good.
So many veggies.
Let's go make it.
First things first, we add brown rice to our burger mixture.
You can use any kind of rice or swap it for other grains.
Look for our tips on how we cook perfect brown rice in the recipe on Inspired Taste.
Mushrooms add lots of flavor to the burger patties.
Use a damp paper towel to brush any dirt off of them.
When they are clean, roughly chop them into 1/2-inch pieces.
In addition to the mushrooms we need carrot, broccoli and onion.
Chop these into small pieces, just like the mushrooms.
For flavor, we need two garlic cloves — just smash and peel them.
They are going into a food processor, so you don't need to mince them.
Throw the vegetables and garlic into the bowl of a food processor.
Add some olive oil, spices — we love smoked paprika and chili powder.
Then season with salt and ground pepper.
Close the lid and process until coarsely ground.
Now for the best flavor and texture, we want to roast them.
Spread the ground vegetables onto a baking sheet.
Spread them with a spatula until a very thin layer of vegetables covers the majority of
the baking sheet.
Roast for 15 minutes.
While the veggies roast, get the beans ready.
Just add them to a baking sheet.
Once the veggies have been in the oven for 15 minutes, you can slide the beans into the
oven alongside them.
By baking the beans, they dry out, which helps to prevent mushy burgers later on.
While we have the oven open, give the veggies a stir then pat them back down and bake for
another 15 minutes.
While the beans and veggies finish baking, we can get the rest of the ingredients ready.
Rinse your food processor then add walnuts, spinach leaves and your favorite fresh herbs
to the bowl.
Process until everything is chopped into crumbs.
Once the veggies and beans have baked and cooled slightly, add them to the walnuts and
spinach and pulse a few times to incorporate them.
Now add breadcrumbs, eggs and tomato paste.
Pulse until everything is just combined.
You want to keep some texture, don't pulse until a smooth mixture.
Scrape the mixture into a bowl and fold in the rice.
By the way, if you don't eat eggs, don't worry!
We have shared tips for removing them in the notes section of our recipe on Inspired Taste.
This mixture makes 8 burgers, just shape them into 1/2-inch thick patties.
To cook them, heat some oil in a skillet and cook over medium-low heat until firm and browned
on both sides.
And there you go.
Our meatless veggie-packed burgers that hold up when cooking, fit nicely on a burger bun
and don't smoosh out the sides when you take a bite.
Most importantly, though, they are delicious.
Enjoy!

GIULIANI: THERE WAS NO COLLUSION - Duration: 11:23.
and know about that me beforehand okay and that's the one that people really
key in on and and you've given us information about things that are not in
the bloodstream of America yet and now they are and as we learn more we have
guide Vinson who was with us today and he has a couple of follow-ups if you can
hang on for just one second hey mister thank you so much for calling in just I
just want to make this crystal clear for the audience because there are so many
meetings it's hard for all of us to sort of keep track so the questions are very
simple number one regardless of whether or not collusion would be a crime is it
still the position of you and your client that there was no collusion with
the Russians whatsoever on behalf of the Trump campaign correct okay and the
second question is of that meeting that we knew about at Trump Tower with the
Russians and high-level people within the Trump world
the Trump campaign at the time you were saying again for the record that the
presidential nominee Donald Trump at the time did not know about the existence of
that meeting prior to it occurring yes I'm glad you asked it very very clear
yes and let me make one slight amendment when when I say the Trump campaign I
mean the upper levels of the Trump campaign I have no reason to believe
anybody else did he only want was I checked with her obviously the top four
or five people all right you know what before and and Kennedy is here too she
wants to get in a question but before we go there I want to follow up with
something that you said because you said one of the meetings that may not have
happened are supporting that Michael Cohen had Donald jr. Jared Kushner Paul
Manafort Gates these would have been the upper people and the Trump campaign that
you're talking about in your amendment here correct okay got it Tennessee
hi mayor Giuliani they have all denied it right ask you a more broad question
because we've heard some of the parameters that you have laid out for
the president sitting down in an interview with Special Counsel what does
Special Counsel want from you what are some
the guidelines they've given you what are they requesting from you from the
president I can't go into all the details number one because that you want
to keep it as pill it's not privileged but it's confidential as possible
and second they keep changing I mean it's a negotiation so keeps changing but
the central parameters of it are and we believe they're not entitled to ask any
questions about obstruction because obstruction is can't could not have
happened under article 2 of the Constitution the President had a right
to fire call me he's got ten good reasons
he can't go try to construct the 11th good reason and now they're trying to do
it by looking at tweets I've never heard of obstruction by tweet or the theater
of the absurd if they want to talk about collusion which as I told you we're very
clear on we would we would we might allow the questions on that we didn't
think they were trying to trap them into perjure and that's what we do it
negotiating if there's some area where we can visually agree it'll be helpful
to them and we wouldn't feel like we've been we've been trapped mr. Giuliani at
this point you know we do have a Democrat guest on our couch today Adrian
Elrod she worked very closely with the Hillary Clinton camp one of the things
that we have learned via Adrian and other Democrats is that there is this
thought that we might be coming more to a close with the investigation that
Muller has knowing what you know and we don't know all of what he has are you
now yes or a no on a sit-down between the President and Robert Mull well you
think first time no on a sit-down until until we get we get ironed out exactly
what they want to do and then if the process is we have five co-counsel
senior people will advise the president he decides and he's always blamed in
favor of doing it well what are you telling about that what what what do I
say right now I'm telling him no way we're not gonna do it as a politician or
as a lawyer as a lawyer I can't I can't be a pal I mean I can't
be a politician it's too confusing if you try to be both
and that was a very good question because there is a whole political when
you're representing the president you're not just representing you know and there
is a whole protocol aspect to this yes however I do think the political climate
has changed a bit and it is I think people will understand much better now
and maybe one of the reasons we're EMS eyes the point about the legitimacy of
the investigation is we want to show that maybe he shouldn't be testifying in
an investigation that has no legitimacy and so I agree I agree with them
the woman who did you mention that I have the sense that he's near the end I
don't know that he hasn't said that he did say one thing that I could sort of
support that with two months ago act before all this stuff happened he was
aiming at the beginning of September at the time to get the report in he never
said it but I thought he was thinking of the of the November of elections and not
wanting to do a Comey interesting real quickly can I just do a fast follow-up
you say that you think the political climate has changed in terms of what's
happening now with the president how so and why well I think that go back to
rewind realize you didn't have the radon cone you didn't have the Horowitz report
kind of beating up on the legitimacy of the Hillary Clinton investigation and
also the beginnings of the counterintelligence investigation
against the let's say the Trump campaign has never been a subject of that but I'm
not sure I know what that means yeah the way they define it and he he he
it seems to me that were at a natural ending point now and I hope I hope it
happens because ultimately remember he can't indict don't have the power to
indict he said he wouldn't anyway right so what does that mean it means you
write the report he's got plenty to write a report okay can I ask you
quickly at this is Melissa Francis again I just want to clarify you're talking
about a second meeting that you say was going to possibly come
out in the media but it didn't happen so now it's not going to surface as a
meeting it didn't have and it didn't happen and that's yeah what I want to
say Don junior walked into president Trump's office and said no no okay all
right so the public record contains a leak mm-hmm by :
okay he was president at a meeting in which Donald Jr came in and informed the
president we deny that happen we say it didn't happen and if they had happened
it would have been mentioned a long time ago on the various hours of tapes that
we have the second meeting was brought to my attention through Jay Sekulow both
both of us dealt with it with two current reporters essentially the same
information about this meeting that took place three days earlier with a whole
group of people every one of those people says it didn't happen and why do
I mention it because first of all I thought it was going to come out second
my experience is that when you have stuff like this phone around it comes
out and I don't want it to come out and be unrebutted when it originally comes
out part of what we're trying to do here the jury for this case is the American
public the Congress yes but the Congress is a creature of public opinion and how
has things shifted just a device 22 percent net toward the president meaning
disapproval of MoMA not investigation has gone up some polls have but over
fifty percent used to be down to 37 38 and the president's position is shifted
by about an equal number including his approval rating so so I said the expect
you can it seems to me there be more understanding why you might wanna just
run in there and and and testify also all of you put on so many a lawyer and
you say that we would be at it we would be out of our minds that we put the
president know through a questioning that has to affect the public do I you
know I I he's the president's own we make you testify we're gonna get
disbarred you know it's interesting what you say
and you know people may watch this and wonder okay so they're getting their
their influence from from Fox News or other media that the actual truth of the
matter is there are a lot of people both sides of whatever political aisle that
you might draw who say and the legal profession separating out the politics
should be crazy to put your client into a situation when you know that he's not
economic with his words and it might get a little dicey and who would do that
with their clients so would you have separated the two hats that you wear
because you were formerly a politician mayor that's great city I understand
that I want to go back real quickly just to some points I'd like it if you
represent a doctor you got to be aware of the fact you represented a doctor
sure you can't pretend you're not and and also also he would not be testifying
and normally as you know defendants don't testify in grand juries or the
prosecutors right make up their mind without that why why are you just going
back to something you just said post Melissa's question why do you feel it's
necessary to get on the record with things that haven't been asked yet or
that are not what yeah what's coming well when I thought when I thought when
I thought it was gonna be published I wanted to get out in front of it and the
reality is that I can't I can't comment on the tape unless or the situation
unless we are attacked then I'm allowed to do that so we weren't being attacked
and I would actually I would actually be much my advice would be a lot easier if
every one of those tapes was out there if you had all the transcripts so can I
get two straight though because you know the reporting this morning is that
there's only one recording with the president's voice on it yet you talked
about and I wrote it down 183 tapes or recordings what is on those that would
be so different if they don't contain the President and even if you don't name
names and you probably can't it's it's a big question it is but it's easy dampen
there are only twelve recordings of any substance 1183 yeah the other the others
are call me back see you later how the president did this today the
president did today the Pres there's some of them have a little
substance to them but I think nothing harmful to the side whichever side

Rigoletto: an essential guide to what to listen out for in Verdi's most famous opera - Duration: 4:42.
Verdi was a very progressive thinker and so for him a curse is a thing of
nonsense. He wasn't superstitious he didn't believe in the supernatural so
how do you make a curse real? Well, he realized of course that a curse
is a matter of perception. Now, the actual curse spewed forth by Monterone is
full of rage, fire, brimstone, wrath everything they expect.
Fantastic music, it's extremely expressive, it's extremely mysterious,
something is going to happen. After the tumult and upset of the first scene,
Rigoletto is left on stage by himself and we hear this rather Wagnerian
chord articulated with a base rhythmic figure. It's angst, fear, worry, then he
heightens the tension by raising the top note.
He's looking for solace he's looking for some sort of comfort and we reached the
dominant, the most comforting chord in music, from here we know where we are going.
The C that he's about to sing
desperately wants to rise and that is in fact what Verdi first wrote but if this
C which is imbued with such a desire to move stays, repeats and doesn't
resolve
everything is left hanging. Verdi based this prelude on the curse. Solo trumpet
and trombone start the entire piece
and so one of the great baritone soprano duets begins. To music of surpassing
beauty we learn about a father's almost obsessive love and the daughters naive
trust. At the end of the duet Rigoletto leaves and he entreats his
daughter never to go out. The curse so prevalent in Rigoletto's mind must come
to fruition somehow and it does so, of course, through the Duke.
The beautiful girl he was talking about at the beginning of the Opera is
Rigoletto's daughter Gilda and in his second aria he says that he has never
felt like this before. So he waits till Rigoletto leaves
and he sneaks in, disguised as a poor student knowing that's what Gilda will
like, he surprises her and she is irredeemably lost. Gilda, trying to find
out what is going on in her own mind, begins her famous aria.
Blossoms to a new chord
she says his name to herself. New chord...
showing all the emotions that she's going through.
Her last line is extremely important and unfortunately prophetic. She says 'even my
last breath will be yours' and so we have all the ingredients for a great tragedy.
This is one of the great evenings in the theatre. I hope you enjoy it.

Coming~
...There's a fidgety looking guy standing outside.
Is he a friend of Mikan's...?
Ah...!
Jeez!
What's up with her?
She just led him outside acting all frustrated...
*sigh*
I can't believe he came all the way to our house...
If he was a friend of yours then you could've invited him in.
He's not a friend.
We are classmates though...
He confessed to me and I turned him down.
H-He confessed!?
I-I see...
Grade schoolers these days sure are something.
...
But if you turned him down, does that mean there's another guy you like?
Muu...
Eh...?
Wh-Why are you glaring at me?
It's nothing...
I was just reminding myself that even with amnesia you're still you.
...If I was going out with someone, it'd be nice if he was reliable whenever I needed him.
You sure set the hurdle high, Mikan.
*sigh*
Hm?
Nothing~
...We had clear skies earlier, but now it's suddenly coming down hard.
Huh...?
For some reason I feel really uneasy.
Am I bad with thunder...?
No, I feel fine...
But it's making me restless.
Was Mikan the one who was bad with thunder?
I've got a feeling.
Let's check up on her.
Ah, R-Rito...
Kyaa!
*whimper*
Mikan came to cling onto me, and now we're back in my room.
So you were bad with thunder.
Did your memory come back!?
No.
I just felt nervous when I heard the sound of thunder...so I was worried about you.
I see...
And that's why you came out into the hallway?
Yeah.
It's okay now, your onii-chan's here.
Rito...
What did we always do during times like this?
Last time...
...um, we...
...we slept together.
R-Really...?
Th-Then...
Top: Sleep on the bed together. Bottom: Hold Mikan's hand until she falls asleep.
...We've been holding hands while going to sleep for as long as I can remember.
Hey, can you tell me what we were like when we were kids?
I can't stay forgetful forever, you know?
You're right...
Then I'll talk about when we went to the park one time.
About the time...when I rushed out of the house, and you followed me there.
I wasn't planning on telling you until you remembered...
But it's a good chance, so I will.
We made... a snowman there.
You and I did it together, you know?
But when we finished it looked awful.
Hehe, your taste in things really showed.
I see...
So the one I was always laughing with was you.
When she says it like that, I feel like I can just picture it.
*yawn*
Rito, I'm starting to get sleepy.
I see.
I'll sleep too.
...Make sure you keep holding my hand, okay?
Good night, Rito.
Mm, morning, huh...?
Let's try to go to the bathroom without waking Mikan up.
*breathing in her sleep*
Mm...
*breathing in her sleep*
Sorry, but I'm letting go of the hand, okay?
Mmm...
I-I can't let go...!
She's returning the grip!
...Hehe.
Well, just this once, okay...?
Rito-san, good mooor...ning?
Geh...!?
I see.
So that's how you two are...
N-No!
You're misunderstanding things!
*breathing in her sleep*

give you a ball and chain
it's not like me to be so mean
you're all I wanted
just let me hold you
like a hostage
gold on your fingertips
fingertips against my cheek
gold leaf across your lips
kiss me until I can't speak
gold chain beneath your shirt
the shirt that you let me wear home
gold's fake and real love hurts
and nothing hurts when I'm alone
and let me crawl inside your veins
I'll build a wall
give you a ball and chain
it's not like me to be so mean
you're all I wanted
just let me hold you
hold you
like a hostage
like a hostage

Customer profile: Snowplanet - Duration: 1:43.
Snowplanet is 13 years old.
So when it first started it was just really skiing and snowboarding
and later on we introduced lessons.
But now there's a lot more to it than that.
We're always tracking visitation, we're growing every year.
We're very proud that we did 155,000 visitors last year,
which puts us in the top four resorts in the country.
We're always trying to expand the offering
throughout the 365 days a year that we're open.
So there's tubing, tobogganing, you get corporate groups coming through.
Now we're getting like 400 kids in the school holiday programme in July.
We're in the development phases of some virtual reality experiences
for people who don't want to go on the snow.
We've got a very unique dining experience called Le Petit Chef.
We're run it in this room, it's a table for six,
where we've got this little chef
and he wanders around the table and he uses some very very very special
techniques to cook some food and then the food magically gets brought in
and served on your plate.
There's only five of these around the world.
We're the only one in the Southern Hemisphere,
so if you want to do a 3D dining experience
I think you've got to go to Paris or London or Stuttgart or somewhere like that.
If we didn't keep changing the products, we didn't keep changing the offers,
then it would become stale.
Because at the end of the day it's 200 metres long
and that's all there is to it.
So we're trying to find reasons to attract people
to come to Snowplanet beyond the snow.
