Why Broly is the Saiyan in Beerus Dream - Duration: 4:34.

Hello and welcome back all my dragon ball theorist there have been many comments on

maybe Broly could be the Saiyan Beerus dreamed about.

How could that be the case though?

He isn't a Super Saiyan God and Beerus already found the only Saiyan God in existence at

that time.

When Shenron was summoned he couldn't bring them a Super Saiyan God cause none exist and

had to inform them of the ritual in order to create a Super Saiyan God for Beerus to

fight right there.

The rest is history and Goku was chosen to ascend and attain God Ki in order to please

Beerus and see if the prophetic dream he had was right.

That he would do battle with a formidable enemy and that enemy was a Super Saiyan God.

Or was it....?

Well there are a lot of issues with Beerus dream and it's details or that if it even

was a Saiyan God.

After Beerus first awakened he went to a planet to get food that

he never had before and felt it would help him remember the guy he saw in his dream.

Whis curiously asked what dream?

His prophetic dream of course.

However Whis was quick to remind him that his prophetic dreams aren't very accurate

are they?

Then Beerus attacked by the natives there decided that he didn't want the food and blew

up the planet.

Then in that moment was reminded yet again of his prophetic dream and this unknown warrior

that caused him to rise out of his 39 year slumber.

The reason he woke up though and had this dream is because the Oracle fish planted this

seed before Beerus went to sleep.

He once predicted that in 39 years a formidable enemy of Beerus would appear.

So 39 years have past and now Beerus had a dream and is now looking for this enemy that

would challenge him.

Except what is his name...Beerus thinks it's a Super Saiyan God but then says in his own

words maybe or maybe not...

Remember Whis said his dreams aren't that accurate.

So when going back to the castle and seeking the one who first told the prophecy, the Oracle

fish actually forgot.

He actually doesn't know for certain his name but when threatened does scream out Super

Saiyan God and then Beerus quest for this Saiyan begins but as we know he is looking

in all the wrong places.

In a way part of the prophecy did come true because Beerus ended up putting in motion

everything because he wanted to fight a Super Saiyan God and wouldn't settle for

anything less.

So that's exactly what happened except while you could debate if Goku was actually formidable

or not for Beerus is one thing.

However the prophetic dream is that he would do battle with a formidable

enemy.

One thing Goku is not is an enemy of Beerus.

Then in Beerus flash back he states the ultimate warrior that no one

has seen yet.

However everything Goku has done is well documented and why they saught him out by going to King

Kai's planet.

So Goku is not the ultimate warrior no one has seen or the enemy that will rise up to

challenge Beerus.

He isn't either of these things.

So Beerus did have this dream influenced by a prophecy then being stubborn with his prophetic

dream forced an outcome he would be satisfied with for now but Goku wasn't the one.

The one in his dream wasn't a God.

He is a warrior that somehow no one has seen.

An unknown saiyan with black hair that is the ultimate warrior and a

formidable opponent.

Things in Dragon Ball get retconned all the time and Broly could be this saiyan that Beerus

dreamed about and what the Oracle fish prophicized.

No one has seen Broly and the Saiyans aren't actually fond of Beerus being that he wanted

to destroy them and asked Frieza to do it.

Perhaps Paragus had the foresight of things to come and escaped long ago and

has been plotting one day to seek revenge on Frieza and Beerus.

That one day Broly would be strong enough to challenge Beerus and kill him for what

he has done.

Broly and Paragus most certainly could of been planning for many years to get their

revenge.

They are an enemy of Beerus and now could be the time where Broly is that

formidable warrior.

Which is why now we are just learning of Broly this unknown saiyan.

The saiyan that Beerus dream was about.

Now I want to know what you think is Broly the unknown warrior that Beerus had a prophetic

dream about?

Could Paragus and Broly been planning for many years to seek

revenge on Beerus and now is that time?

Heart and smoke

When it comes to cigarettes, everyone thinks that smoking only causes respiratory illnesses, such as chronic bronchitis obstruction, or lung cancer.

However, as early as 1940, there was a link between smoking and the risk of cardiovascular disease.

Although smoking a few cigarettes a day, it also increases the risk of this disease.

Smokers, who have increased levels of oxidative products, include oxidized LDL cholesterol, and reduce the concentration of HDL cholesterol, a factor that protects the heart.

Coronary artery disease can occur, after only smoking a cigarette.

Causes cardiac dysrhythmia and sudden death.

Smoke increases catecholamine, a natural active ingredient in the body, such as adrenaline, which can cause arrhythmias,

life-threatening, extra ventricular, and ventricular fibrillation.

8. Aortic aneurysm.

Anyone can have aortic atherosclerosis, but smokers, who are at high risk of plaque build up.

The plaque, which causes the artery wall to weaken, and forms a bulge, or bulge in the artery wall.

The vessels are weak, so they can break.

In smokers, the incidence of aortic aneurysms was eight times greater, and the rate of death from aneurysm rupture was much higher than non-smokers.

They're also featuring the upcoming Green Lion Festival by putting up a green block

on Laura Street.

Come by and take a look at the first LEED certified tiny house on wheels.

We actually did an interview with Annie from eco relics when they built this tiny house.

20+ local artists, delicious food trucks and 35+ participating venues.

Sounds like a good time.

The event takes place 5-9PM rain or shine in downtown Jacksonville.

The same day, there's a whiskey release party at the Volstead.

Marlin & Barrel from Amelia Island is celebrating the release of their first whiskey product

distilled from a bourbon mash using 4 grains – corn, rye, wheat, and barley.

Owner and distiller, Roger Morenc will be on site.

And if you buy a bottle, he will even sign it.

The Whiskey Release party takes place at the Volstead downtown and starts at 5PM.

LeBron James' I Promise School opens in his hometown of Akron, Ohio, today.

The school, built in partnership with the LeBron James Family Foundation and Akron Public Schools, will serve Akron's most at-risk youth to help give them the tools to have a successful future.

James tweeted about the opening, calling it one of the "greatest moments" of his life.

Here's what you need to know about the I Promise School:.

I Promise School has a Unique Enrollment Process That Solely Focuses on Improving Student Performance.

As part of the Akron Public School system, the I Promise School is in a unique situation.

From the outside looking in, it looks like it has the resources of a lavish private school.

But it's public, and therefore has no tuition.

The school doesn't take applications for enrollment.

Instead, Akron Public Schools and James' foundation studied reading proficiency in its student body.

"Looking at reading data, we identified students who were a year, two years behind in reading," said Keith Liechty of Akron Public Schools, who worked closely with James' foundation.

This process identified more students than the school could fit in its first year.

So, they randomly selected the student body and then asked parents if they'd like their students to attend the new school.

In all, 120 third and 120 fourth graders are set to attend the I Promise School for the 2018-19 school year.

Each year until 2022, the school will add new grade levels.

Next year, second and fifth graders will be added, and in 2022, the I Promise School will function as both an elementary and middle school, serving first through eighth graders.

The School Receives the Same Amount of State Funding as Other Public Schools, but It's a Future-Thinking Commitment for Akron Public Schools.

Akron Public School District Treasurer Ryan Pendleton told the Akron Beacon Journal that the I Promise School took "serious amounts of money" to get off the ground.

While the school receives the exact same amount of funding as other schools within the district, the district is pouring approximately $2.9 million from its general fund for the 2018-19 school year.

As the school expands, the cost of operations will naturally go up.

In 2023, the district thinks the school will cost them $8.1 million.

Akron Public Schools sees the I Promise School as a "long-term investment" that will benefit not just the kids going to the school, but others within the district.

The school system expects to see smaller class sizes, increased enrollment, and better grades overall.

The district's contributions don't fully cover the costs to operate the school.

Having an NBA superstar like LeBron James at the helm certainly has helped the school get off the ground.

Contributions to the I Promise School from both local and national partners and foundation donates have eclipsed $2 million.

For example, The Peg Foundation, a Northeast Ohio initiative for mental health, is donating $2.

5 million to the school mainly for support services over the next five years.

The funding was necessary to keep class sizes capped at 20, and to hire the 43 staffers that will help manage the school's day-to-day activities.

The I Promise School is a certified STEM school, and has a lengthier school calendar than normal.

This year, the school calendar runs from July 30 to May 17.

And there's a seven-week summer school program for kids who need additional help.

Each school day also runs from 9 a.m.

to 5 p.m.

On top of that, all students will be provided breakfast, lunch, and a snack each day.

School supplies are provided to students, and the faculty will have a fully stocked teacher's lounge and workout area, including access to a personal trainer.

The building used for the school previously housed a closed school.

LeBron's foundation renovated the building extensively.

Now, when you walk in, there's a split staircase.

Murals of James, Jackie Robinson, Jesse Owens, Martin Luther King Jr., and Muhammad Ali adorn the walls.

And above the entrance, there are 114 James-worn basketball shoes.

Upper Deck plans to sell the other half of each pair, and the proceeds will go towards additional school funds.

The School has a Family Focus, With Support Geared Towards Everyone Involved in a Child's Success.

I Promise School officials and LeBron's foundation want to assist not just at-risk youth, but their families as well.

"I think the missing link in public education is that family wraparound support," principal Brandi Davis told the Los Angeles Times. "Because our students come to school and they're worried about things at home.

… We want to create that safe, that secure and that caring and loving environment for our families and our students so that our kids can focus on education.".

JPMorgan Chase & Co.

will assist parents who earn their GEDs from the I Promise Too Program with volunteer mentors who will help guide them on their next steps.

The mentorship program will be setup in the I Promise School's family resource center down the line.

Support for adults of parents will extend to providing career counseling and job resources.

The school will also be stocked with food bank donations that parents can access to cook for their families.

James Sees Himself When He Looks at the Students Who Will Attend the I Promise School.

In a video on his media platform Uninterrupted, James explained how he understands the struggle these under-privileged kids are facing.

I know these kids, basically more than they know themselves.

I've walked these same streets.

I've rode the same bikes on the streets they ride on.

I went through the same emotions — the good, the bad, the adversity.

Everything these kids are going through — the drugs, the violence, the guns, everything they're going through as kids, I know.

For me to be in a position where I have the resources, the finance, the people, the structure and the city around me — why not?.

On Twitter, he said, "This skinny kid from Akron who missed 83 days of school in the 4th grade had big dreams…big dreams for the kids in Akron to give them everything they could need to find their passion, give back to our community and change the world! This school is that.

The people are that. Akron is that.".

James attended Akron Public Schools for eight years as a kid, before attending St.

Vincent-St.Mary High School (located down the road from I Promise School).

Executive director of the LeBron James Family Foundation Michele Campbell talked about James' connection to Akron and his childhood as the driving force for starting the school.

"We all know which path he took.

He took the right path with some very good people around him and now we know him as the world's best basketball player.

He could've taken the other road, and we would've never known LeBron James.

He would've been a statistic like a lot of students who drop out of school," she told USA Today.

"Every one of these kids, maybe they don't become LeBron James on the basketball court, but they become the LeBron James of their passion and dream in life.".

But we don't eat off of them exclusively. We actually do do our dishes

BookTubeAThon 2018 | Day One! - Duration: 5:23.

It is the first day of BookTubeAThon and already I'm three books into the

challenge. I read the first two right as the BookTubeAThon started. It is 12

minutes past midnight and I've just finished reading my first two books

for BookTubeAThon. And now I'm gonna go sleep. The first book I read was The Journey by Francesca Sanna. This is a

children's book about the journey of refugees. The author spoke to many

refugees and immigrants about their journeys and their stories and from all

of that she created this story for kids and I thought it was really great. And

I'm gonna give it a 4 out of 5 stars. The next book I read was Marcel by Edna

Akaltun, this book is about a little puppy in New York City who doesn't like

change. I am giving it 3 out of 5 stars. Then today I read Return to Labyrinth.

The fourth and final book in this Tokyopop series. At times this felt like

bad fanfiction or maybe even like mediocre, like, kind of okay fanfiction.

Same with the art, it was kind of like, kind of okay fan art. It didn't feel like

what actually happens after the film and I know that this is just one creative's

idea and interpretation. And it's not like necessarily 'canon,' but it is

official. It's, you know, Jim Henson Company gave permission for this to

exist so they must have liked it enough. Um, I don't know. It had a really cute ending. I

liked the ending, I liked the message at the end. And yeah, a lot of the familiar

characters were in it. But a lot of the times when they were around, it felt

almost as if they were saying lines similar to the movie to try

and get you to make that association again. And it just it it felt a little

forced. I was just disappointed, I wanted to be amazing and I don't think it was

amazing. But it wasn't terrible. However if you do want to see Labyrinth in comic

form, I recommend this by Arcadia. This is, this

is really good. I really like this. It's a prequel whereas this is a sequel,

continuation. I'm probably gonna give this like, three stars, because I

didn't hate it. It is Labyrinth, it is this world I

like, but you know. So far I have completed four of the seven challenges

and three of the seven books. Coin toss, beautiful spine, book to movie adaptation,

the color green. This has been, it's been so chill. In fact I think the most stressful

part of this BookTubeAThon is going to be these videos, not the actual reading.

So... And in fact I've also read a chapter of The Magician's Land because I'm in

the middle of this series and it's not a part of my BookTubeAThon

TBR. But I'm still gonna read this this week, because I'm really into it. So then next

I did the video challenge, which was to recreate a book cover using everyday

household items in under five minutes. I think it took me two minutes to do it.

But yeah, cut to, cut to that clip.

So as you can see, I recreated Slaughterhouse-Five by Kurt Vonnegut. It

is a pretty simple cover, this, these editions of his books have pretty simple

covers. I think my adorable backpack makes a creepy slash adorable skull, so I

Why Broly is the Saiyan in Beerus Dream - Duration: 4:34.

Hello and welcome back all my dragon ball theorist there have been many comments on

maybe Broly could be the Saiyan Beerus dreamed about.

How could that be the case though?

He isn't a Super Saiyan God and Beerus already found the only Saiyan God in existence at

that time.

When Shenron was summoned he couldn't bring them a Super Saiyan God cause none exist and

had to inform them of the ritual in order to create a Super Saiyan God for Beerus to

fight right there.

The rest is history and Goku was chosen to ascend and attain God Ki in order to please

Beerus and see if the prophetic dream he had was right.

That he would do battle with a formidable enemy and that enemy was a Super Saiyan God.

Or was it....?

Well there are a lot of issues with Beerus dream and it's details or that if it even

was a Saiyan God.

After Beerus first awakened he went to a planet to get food that

he never had before and felt it would help him remember the guy he saw in his dream.

Whis curiously asked what dream?

His prophetic dream of course.

However Whis was quick to remind him that his prophetic dreams aren't very accurate

are they?

Then Beerus attacked by the natives there decided that he didn't want the food and blew

up the planet.

Then in that moment was reminded yet again of his prophetic dream and this unknown warrior

that caused him to rise out of his 39 year slumber.

The reason he woke up though and had this dream is because the Oracle fish planted this

seed before Beerus went to sleep.

He once predicted that in 39 years a formidable enemy of Beerus would appear.

So 39 years have past and now Beerus had a dream and is now looking for this enemy that

would challenge him.

Except what is his name...Beerus thinks it's a Super Saiyan God but then says in his own

words maybe or maybe not...

Remember Whis said his dreams aren't that accurate.

So when going back to the castle and seeking the one who first told the prophecy, the Oracle

fish actually forgot.

He actually doesn't know for certain his name but when threatened does scream out Super

Saiyan God and then Beerus quest for this Saiyan begins but as we know he is looking

in all the wrong places.

In a way part of the prophecy did come true because Beerus ended up putting in motion

everything because he wanted to fight a Super Saiyan God and wouldn't settle for

anything less.

So that's exactly what happened except while you could debate if Goku was actually formidable

or not for Beerus is one thing.

However the prophetic dream is that he would do battle with a formidable

enemy.

One thing Goku is not is an enemy of Beerus.

Then in Beerus flash back he states the ultimate warrior that no one

has seen yet.

However everything Goku has done is well documented and why they saught him out by going to King

Kai's planet.

So Goku is not the ultimate warrior no one has seen or the enemy that will rise up to

challenge Beerus.

He isn't either of these things.

So Beerus did have this dream influenced by a prophecy then being stubborn with his prophetic

dream forced an outcome he would be satisfied with for now but Goku wasn't the one.

The one in his dream wasn't a God.

He is a warrior that somehow no one has seen.

An unknown saiyan with black hair that is the ultimate warrior and a

formidable opponent.

Things in Dragon Ball get retconned all the time and Broly could be this saiyan that Beerus

dreamed about and what the Oracle fish prophicized.

No one has seen Broly and the Saiyans aren't actually fond of Beerus being that he wanted

to destroy them and asked Frieza to do it.

Perhaps Paragus had the foresight of things to come and escaped long ago and

has been plotting one day to seek revenge on Frieza and Beerus.

That one day Broly would be strong enough to challenge Beerus and kill him for what

he has done.

Broly and Paragus most certainly could of been planning for many years to get their

revenge.

They are an enemy of Beerus and now could be the time where Broly is that

formidable warrior.

Which is why now we are just learning of Broly this unknown saiyan.

The saiyan that Beerus dream was about.

Now I want to know what you think is Broly the unknown warrior that Beerus had a prophetic

dream about?

Could Paragus and Broly been planning for many years to seek

revenge on Beerus and now is that time?

The concept art of the zombies really shows how scary the game might actually be.

Real humans scanned in as zombies makes for some really realistic realism.

And even her Made In Heaven logo got a little bit of an overhaul.

And Leon has also changed with the times to get a little more crisp of a look.

BASIL LEMONADE | Ritzy Recipes With Sarita Gelner - Duration: 3:10.

hey Ritzy chefs today is all about summer sipping we're gone through a

major heat wave here in Missouri and we need something to cool us off so we had

a great idea to show you guys how to make homemade fresh crisp refreshing

lemonade and we're gonna take it a step further by using some fresh basil into

it so we're making basil lemonade today Bea and Tilly are gonna help me out this is

a quick easy recipe that you can do is I can make the larmor lemonade we're gonna

make normal lemonade basil lemonade any kind of lemonade you want to make I'm

gonna show you how to do it right now that snowman is a great snowman so while

the girls make lemon snowman we're gonna get started on our basil infused

lemonade you're just gonna need about six average sized lemons to get a cup of

lemon juice

the first step in making this basil lemonade is to get some basil infused

flavor how you're going to do that is by making a simple syrup in order to have

lemonade where all of your sugar is dissolved you have to first make a

simple syrup whether you're making basil infused or just regular lemonade that is

a very important step so we're going to put 3/4 cups water right into this bowl

that I've heated up sprinkle on some sugar when you make simple syrups always

just remember to use equal parts of water and sugar and then I just have

some packed basil leaves they're fresh from our garden all right toss them in

there perfect and we're just gonna let this steep we're gonna get all of the

sugar dissolved and then we're gonna let it cool off a little bit while the basil

flavors steeps inside

in the meantime we're gonna get started on the rest of our lemon I have a cup of

lemon juice with all of that good pulp left inside the seeds taken out we're

going to pour it right into this picture you can help me be to that I have two

and a half cups of filtered all right we're gonna pour this in girls gonna

help me all right triple pouring perfect so this is

a great base to our lemonade the basil simple syrup is ready we're gonna strain

out all of the leaves and pour it directly into our pitcher of lemonade oh

this looks good it's gonna smell good and taste good oh it's just a hint of

basil and all that lemon flavor girls let's stir it up okay go ahead stir it

till I give it a stir this is the last crucial step of making homemade fresh

basil lemonade perfect girls okay now we're just gonna pour it over ice and

hi it's tai bug and let me just rewind a bit so I've been feeling really

nostalgic this past couple of weeks and I was looking around on the internet and

on YouTube for some of the stories I used to hear growing up and I was really

sad to find out that they weren't on the internet really like you could find

stories about Goldilocks and all that but those are different types of stories

and the ones I grew up I'm Native American

I'm Apache and Cherokee and my godparents are in Navajo so I grew up

with a lot of those types of stories and like I was just really disappointed to

find that the stories I grew up with weren't online they weren't being told a

lot so I searched around my house and I found the book I grew up listening to

stories about these were my bedtime stories they are called

the telling of the world they're edited by WS pen all ish stories told by a

different person and he come compiled them all and like added art and all that

and just seeing this book almost brought me to tears because I thought we gave it

away and I just haven't heard them with such a long time I'm getting choked up a

little bit so I'm gonna tell you one of the first stories I was told from this

book and it's the creation of the world it's by the

River tribe sizes are the pit tribes and it's about coyote and Silver Fox and how

they created the world

so I'm not gonna read it word for word because I really encourage you guys to

get this book this book it's just such a perfect book and there's like a lot of

dialogue in here that doesn't really pertain to the story because it's kind

of like told between these two people so the story is told by Jaime de Angelo

sorry if I butchered that and I guess I'll get right into it it seems like

there was nothing everywhere but a kind of fog fog and water mixed they say no

land anywhere this here silver fox was wandering and feeling lonely he was

feeling lonely the silver fox I wish I would meet someone he said to himself

the silver fox did he was walking along the fog and he met coyote I thought I

was going to meet someone he said the coyote looked at him but didn't say

anything where are you travelling says Fox but where are you traveling why do

you travel like that because I am worried I am also wandering so the

coyote I am also worrying and travelling I

thought I would meet someone I thought I wouldn't meet someone lets you and I

travel together it's better for two people to be traveling together that's

what they always say well this coyote she says

what are we going to do now what do you think says Fox

I don't know says coyote well then says Fox I'll tell you let's make the world

how are we going to do that we will sing says the box so there they were singing

up there in the sky they were singing and stomping and dancing around each

other in a circle then the books he thought in his mind Columbus saw it come

that's why he made it come by thinking pretty soon he had it in his hand and he

was singing all the while he had it they were both singing and stomping all of a

sudden the Fox through the clump asad he threw it down into the clouds

don't look down he said to coyote keep on singing shut your eyes keep them shut

until I tell you so so they kept on see hands stomping around each other in

their circle for quite a while then the Fox sets coyote now look down there what

do you see I see something I see something but I don't know what it is

alright shut your eyes again now they started singing and stopping again and

Fox thought and wished stretch stretch now look down again what do you see oh

it's getting bigger show your eyes again don't look down

and they went on singing and stomping up there in the sky now look down again oh

no it's big enough so the coyote that's the way they made

the world they both choked down on it and they

stretched it some more then they Mane mountains and valleys they made trees

and rocks and everything took them a long time to do all that and that's the

very first story I'll tell you guys from this book

you guys want I'll make a series because there are so many good stories in this

book this is just one of the creation stories this one is specifically from

the pit trap but each tribe has their own variation of creation stories I just

I think that's so fascinating I'm infatuated with just everyone's

different ways of seeing the world and like it's just so interesting I hope you

How to Watch Trayvon Martin Documentary Series Online | Heavy.com

Rest in Power: The Trayvon Martin Story is a new six-episode documentary series that explores the life and death of Martin, whose 2013 killing had a major societal impact that is still felt today.

New episodes of the docuseries, which are each one-hour long, will air Mondays at 10 p.m.

ET on both the Paramount Network and BET, starting with the premiere on July 30.

Most are familiar with the story of Trayvon Martin, the 17-year-old who was shot and killed by George Zimmerman in 2013.

The killing of Martin, the investigation and trial, and Zimmerman's acquittal due to Florida's "Stand Your Ground" law sent shock waves throughout the nation and was a front-page story for months.

But while the shooting, investigation and acquittal are detailed in the docuseries, Jenner Furst, who directs with Julia Willoughby Nason, explained that Rest in Power is more about the lasting effects of those events have on present day America:.

The telegraphing in that opening montage, that is to tell viewers that this is not a story about yesterday.

This is a story about today and tomorrow, and the country that we're living in now.

It's our belief that Trayvon Martin was a fork in the road, and was an alarm clock for many Americans, in that there were positive things that came about as a result of that—a consciousness, a new civil rights movement—and there was blowback.

And we're currently living in the blowback.

The series made its world premiere during the Tribeca Film Festival in April, and in June the first episode was screened during the American Black Film Festival.

And the early reviews have been glowing.

"Rest in Power effectively and comprehensively situates the trial of this century within the broader political, cultural, and economic currents swirling around it, at once a consequence of and a catalyst for the clash of opposing social movements—white supremacists and black civil rights advocates—for which our moment is likely to be remembered," writes Paste Magazine's Matt Brennan, who calls it "the must-see docuseries of the year.

The series is based on the book Rest in Power: The Enduring Life of Trayvon Martin, which was written by Trayvon's parents, Tracy Martin and Sybrina Fulton, and published in January of 2017.

There were a handful of offers to produce the series, but the winning bid ultimately went to Jay-Z, who is credited as an executive producer along with Martin, Fulton, Furst, Willoughby Nason, Chachi Senior, Michael Gasparro and Nick Sandow.
