Youtube daily report Jun 25 2017

There seems to be a lot of discussion about oil prices and its impact on stock prices

Will it be a major factor at play next week? What about other factors?

The kind of fall in oil prices that we have witnessed recently have not been witnessed since 1990s

People are concerned that the fall may become precipitous and increase in intensity in the days to come

The oil prices have been falling for the reason the supply of oil has been exceeding demand

US Shale gas and OPEC price cuts are not being able to overcome the demand aspect

Just because has be falling that doesn't mean that it will keep falling in a straight line

There could be a short-term reversal though medium to long term trend is downward

Oil seems to be in oversold territory

Many industries such as paints and tyres which use oil have been benefiting from falling oil prices

If oil turns around some of the gains accruing to the airline industry and tyre industry may also get reversed

The factors towards correction accumulating for some time will increase in force this week

Trade disagreement between US and Germany, Brexit issue for UK and India's discussion with US on IT are issues that will pressure markets

There are a lot of negative factors. A correction has already started this week. The number of declines are far more than advances

The trend will continue. The week will open on a weak note. There could be an sudden upside by the middle of the week

That should be used by investors to exit rather than create fresh positions

The trend is very much downward. People should rather be on the sell side rather than the buy side

I think we are looking at a steep correction in the next three months

A viewer has asked a question about the relationship between mergers and acquisitions and stock prices

M&A make the combined entity a stronger business entity but may not enhance shareholder value

CLIOMAKEUP LIPSTICKS - REVIEW & TEST (ENG SUB) | MrDanielmakeup - Duration: 16:06.

Hi guys! I'm back with a new review.

I'm very happy about these videos because I really have fun while filming them.

Let me know if you find them helpful, please leave comments down below for any suggestions.

Today I'll review the new lipsticks by Clio Makeup Shop, released about one month ago.

A lot of people messaged me asking if I had received them for free or if I had to buy them.

I bought the lipsticks on the website on the day of the launch:

I think it's part of my job to test new products in order to provide an opinion about them.

I don't really care if I receive them as PR, I never wait to get them for free in order to try them.

My priority is to test the products, give my opinion and create high quality contents for you guys.

I also need to be always up to date with trends and new releases.

This is my passion and also yours, I believe, so I think that honest opinions are very important.

I want to underline this, since it's often given for granted that we all work the same way, but it's not the case.

Every time a fellow You Tuber is involved in a project, like in this case Clio, who is also a friend,

I want to support them by purchasing their products.

It's just a symbolic gesture, but I think it's a way to express affection and respect towards my colleagues.

It's something I do with pleasure: for example, I've always purchased Cindy's new products by MULAC.

Although I don't always manage to mention them in my videos, it's something I always do.

Let's now move to the review and see the lipsticks.

I took some time to try and study these products.

I could have done a video three days after the launch with my first impressions,

but in order to provide a complete opinion, it's necessary to take some time to understand the product.

Clio released two lines: Liquid Love and Creamy Love.

Both of them are vegan, cruelty free, paraben free, dermatologically tested and made in Italy.

The Liquid Love collection is made up of four shades, which I got,

three of which are completely matte and one is metallic.

On the website it says that they're all very pigmented and comfortable on the lips.

Let's now see them up close.

The packaging is very cute and it reminds me of MAC's liquid lipsticks.

It's a transparent cylindric bottle with a tapered rose gold lid.

At the base you can see the shape of a classic stick lipstick.

I don't love the graphic side, as there is only a little melting heart, which is the symbol of the Liquid Love.

There's nothing else and I think this makes it a bit anonymous. I would have least put the logo.

I'm starting with Nude Sunday, a warm peachy nude.

I'm applying it on my lips.

The scent is quite strong and it reminds me of those strawberry and vanilla lollipops

because it's sweet but it also has a fruity accent.

I do like it.

The texture is not liquid, but creamy, almost like a mousse, and they're very pigmented.

The applicator is the classic angled one.

After five minutes it becomes no-transfer and it dries in a completely opaque finish.

In comparison to the other three shades, this one feels a bit sticky within the first hour.

After about one hour, the sticky feeling fades away. Anyhow, it doesn't feel uncomfortable.

You do feel the product on your lips, though. You don't really forget you're wearing it.

The positive aspect is that it feels comfortable and it doesn't dry out your lips.

It's very long lasting, it only fades when you start eating particularly oily foods.

The next one is Fire Kiss.

This is what it looks like when completely dry: it's a vibrant cool red, kind of a strawberry red.

The colour is beautiful, the texture is creamy and pigmented

and after five minutes it dries in a matte finish with a very subtle golden luminosity to it.

After about three hours from the application, it fades on the corners of the mouth.

Red shades are very difficult to create and this performs really well.

This is Play Hard.

It's a bright fuchsia and it represents Clio very well because she loves these shades.

Like all the others, it's creamy, pigmented and after five minutes it becomes matte and no-transfer.

It feels comfortable and non-drying on the lips, and although you feel it, it doesn't bother.

It's long lasting and it fades when you eat something that is very oily.

This is Hell Yeah, the metallic one.

You need to be a bit more careful with this shade, as it's not pigmented with one swipe.

It does become very pigmented with a second swipe.

I'll first apply it and then I'll tell you what I think.

This is what it looks like when dry. It's a dark plum shade with pink, copper and golden reflections.

I really like this colour although you need at least two swipes to get full pigmentation.

Once dry, the finish is a metallic matte.

For what it concerns the comfort, you do feel it on the lips, but it's not bothering as most metallic lipsticks.

It's very long lasting, as the other colours.

My final consideration about the Liquid Love is that they're quality products,

the colours are quite classic, except for Hell Yeah,

they're well pigmented, the texture is creamy, you feel them on the lips but they're not drying, which is good.

They perform well, so the Liquid Love are approved.

For what it concerns the Creamy Love, I got five shades.

Let's now see them up close.

The packaging is quite nice, with a white base and a rose gold lid.

Once again, it reminds me of MAC's packaging, and I also think that something is missing, like the logo.

It looks a bit anonymous as there's no brand on it, only a small ice cream, symbol of the Creamy Love.

This line is in fact inspired by the creaminess of an ice cream.

Let's now see the actual product.

I'm starting off with Sei Mio.

It's extremely creamy and it glides on very easily.

You need to be a bit careful because of this, although the nudes are easier to apply.

The tip, although you can't see it anymore, has the anatomic shape of the lips.

Sei Mio is a warm brownish nude with the same scent of the Liquid Love, but much less obvious.

It has good pigmentation and the finish is luminous and creamy, although it's supposed to be semi-matte.

It's lightweight and comfortable on the lips.

After about one hour and a half from the application, it fades on the sides of the lips, but it's easy to touch up.

Let's move on with My Lips But Better.

It's a medium warm pink with good pigmentation and a soft texture.

This shade leaves a white line on my lip after about one hour from the application.

I usually hang in the studio, I talk, I sing and at some stage a lighter line shows on the lip.

This happened to me in the past with other lipsticks and it doesn't look good.

I even asked Giulia to try it and she got the same issue. Let me know if it happens to you guys as well.

The next one is Baciami Stupido.

You need to be quite careful with these darker shades, as they're very creamy and they smudge easily.

It would actually be better to apply them with a small brush or to line the lips with a pencil.

This is a cool-toned red with some blue micro pearls to it.

The texture is like the others and after a while it becomes slightly less luminous.

In comparison to the other shades, this seems more solid, in fact the tip still has its anatomic shape.

I prefer the texture of this one in comparison to the others.

I'm sure many of you will ask why I didn't get Cremosino, since I love nude shades.

I wanted to get it, but I got Rosa Indiano by mistake, which is a bright fuchsia cooler than Play Hard.

I personally don't like fuchsia shades and I would have preferred Cremosino.

This actually feels like ice cream, I think it's the creamiest of all.

You need to apply it carefully because it's super creamy and bright.

I'm now going to show you the last shade.

The last one is Midnight Call.

It's a dark burgundy shade.

Since it's a bit thinner, if you look closely, you can still see the colour of your lips.

Apart from this, all the other characteristics are the same as the other shades.

My final consideration is that they're very creamy and I was hoping they would adhere better to the lips.

The finish is luminous and creamy, almost semi-matte, but far from being matte.

The colours are all classic and quite consistent for what it concerns their characteristics.

My Lips But Better has the problem of the white line.

I don't really trust Midnight Call, since it previously transferred on my teeth,

so I wouldn't wear it or use it on others.

I wasn't particularly impressed by this line and I wouldn't repurchase them.

I'd rather suggest you the liquid lipsticks, which are quality products.

So this was my review on Clio's lipsticks, let me know if you also tried them.

Please give this video a thumbs up if you liked it and leave your comments down below.

Don't forget to subscribe to my channel and to follow me on Instagram, Snapchat, Facebook and Twitter.

I send you a big kiss and I'll see you in my next video!

FIRMOO GLASSES REVIEW + How to get FREE SPECS for yourself! - Duration: 5:27.

hey guys welcome to my channel I'm Ella. I am so excited to film this video

because I finally got my firmoo package! So if you're wondering or if you want to

know what my thoughts are regarding this brand and how I got it for free and how

you can snag it for free then just keep watching so this is the package and when

you open this you will get another pouch and when you open this you will get another pouch

but anyway when you open the pouch this is the product you'll get and inside

this pouch there's a bubble wrap which definitely is a good thing 'cause

you'll know your order is safe. And then your order comes with this pouch. Inside it you will

also get a hard case like this so it's really really cute because it has a map style

they also engraved their brand name here which is Firmoo global online

optical store. I got excited when I saw the back of it as it has our country. When you

open it, it looks like this. This is the style that I got so this is in the

style.. wait..I have a cheat sheet here. This is in the style lyc1928. If you want this

specific glass the link for this glass is in the description box below so it looks

like this but first I was a little bit disappointed because I feel like this

isn't the best style for my face shape but of course that is totally my fault

because I got really really excited when I went to their website because

there's a lot of styles to choose from. It's so hard to choose but then due to my excitement

this was the style I chose. But after a while of using and wearing this

I feel like it looks OK now. I don't think it's that bad for my face shape

This is the style. It has some gold accents here and here on the sides

and also here surrounding the frame and also when you wear this it doesn't feel heavy

it's very lightweight and because of these things right here I don't know

what you call this but because of those things it doesn't fall off that easily

it also comes with a wiper. I won't be wearing this all

throughout the video 'cause I feel like it would be really annoying for those of

you who are watching this 'cause the light is reflecting on the lenses

inside the pouch we have a screwdriver and screws in case you

want to adjust the nose pads then yeah I ordered this on June

14 and after two days they shipped it out and on June 22 I received my order

What I like about this specs is that whenever I smile it won't touch my

cheeks so I can smile all I want On their website, you will find a lot of

chic and new styles everyday. So they update everyday which is a good thing

and wait.. I will go to their site and will try to show you their website so

it looks like this and at the bottom here there are three things you need to know before

buying an eyeglass or sunglasses. First is the "measure your PDA"

or pupillary distance. So that is the distance between the centers of the pupils in each eye so yeah

you can measure your old shades or old glasses and then check their website

to know the specific measurement on the glasses that you like so you'll know

if it will suit you or not and then the second one, they have glasses

for each face shape so round, oval, heart just click it and

you'll be redirected on the page with the glasses that are good for that specific face shape and then

the last is they have a video here on how to buy glasses online that is really

a good thing. I didn't check the last two things which I should have

they have glasses for women men and for kids and also they have a one on one

service so you'll get your own customer service representative they have a

consistent pre-sale and they also have a BOGO sale or buy one get one for

free so that means you will get two glasses for the price of one

the link for that will be in the description box below and to be honest the shipping fee

is quite expensive it will cost you $18 if you are ordering

it from the Philippines that is around 800 pesos but if ever you'll buy a lot of

glasses for your loved ones for your friends, everyone or if your total

order will cost $55 then they offer free shipping fee for that. $55 or more in

the Philippines and $30 dollars or more the US and the thing or the information

that you are waiting how I got my specs for free. If you're a YouTube content

creator then all you have to do is email them at service@firmoo.com

or if you're someone who wants to buy quality prescription glasses online then

this is a perfect site for you the link will be in the description box thank you

guys for watching I hope you liked this video give it a thumbs up if you did

subscribe if you haven't already and I'll see you on my next video bye!

And I forgot to include my post notification shout out so my post notification shout out

goes to Pages and Polish thank you for turning my notification on so if

you want to get notified or get a notification post notifications shout

out all you have to do is turn the notification bell on just beside the

TOP 5 | NYX FACE AWARDS UKRAINE 2017 | Life | Harmony - Duration: 10:16.

Life is an eternal confrontation between kindness and evil.

These forces are majestic, but without each other do not exist.

Equality reigns between them.

And if you look deeper, there is a fine line between kindness and evil

which can not behind or evil, good or bad because

everything is perfect in it.

Her name is

Harmony

Hello! My name is Yana

and I am very glad to present you my look for the final stage of Nyx Face Awards Ukraine.

Harmony perfectly combines the absolute opposites, so the basis for the look are elements of the classic characters: the angel and the demon.

Namely: wings and horns, a combination of white and red colors.

Let's get to makeup!

I started working on the makeup with putting on the face, neck and area of the clavicles of Jumbo Pencil in the shade of "milk".

Now on the neck area I put cream paint in the shade of "Fuchsia".

From the jaw line I stretch the color with my fingers down the neck, to get a uniform gradient.

I contour my face with the same paint.

I set the cream textures with a transparent powder from the "HD" series.

Using red shade of eye shadow from the palette of "Ultimate" Brights, I make the color more intense.

Using matte shade in "Stripped" I make contouring more embossed.

After a thorough shading in a white base, the red color turns pale,

I give it a new life, using the orange color from the "Brights" palette.

I apply the highlighter from my favorite contouring palette.

Jumbo pencil helps to brighten the water line.

On the inner and outer parts of the upper eyelids I apply the already familiar red shade,

I apply the same highlighter to the center of the eyelids and blend them.

I stretch the color on the lower eyelid, leaving the part along the ciliary line untouched.

In the center of theyelids I put a waterproof eyeshadow base, it perfectly fixes glitter.

Lining my eyes using Epic ink liner.

I put on mascara and glue on fake lashes.

Drawing lines with the eye pencil in shade «2».

And I strengthen their color with Vivid Brights in a shade «Vivid Fire».

When a human finds harmony with his life, his heart blossoms.

This I wanted to show by stylizing the human heart in a rose. I start with a sketch.

Using lipstick for creating ombre effect in shade «2» I overdraw the petals of the rose and blend the color.

The burgundy shade from the favorite palette "Love in Paris" helps to create shadows.

Lipstick "Liquid Suede" in the shade "Cherry skies" will give the rose its basic color.

I add shadows with a matte shade "Stripped".

Define edges with the liner.

Overdraw leaves and buds using black eye pencil.

Use shade "Stripped" to add shadows and volume.

I fill in the buds with lipstick for creating ombre effect in shade «2».

I draw the contour with liner and soften the transition with black eye shadow.

Around my heart i blend Jumbo pencil and red and black shades of eye shadows.

With white body paint i draw the moon.

Adding more shades and blend them with clean brush.

Drawing the sun on my forehead.

I draw decorative elements and proceed to draw shadows on the rays of the sun.

I put eyeshadow base on all white elements to fix the glitter.

Decided to darken up the bridge of the nose.

And again: eyeshadow base and glitter. On my eyebrows and lips.

Creating ombre effect on my lips using the same lipstick as before.

Adding some more shine :)

Creating the contour with the same lipstick and blend it towards my heart.

Using setting spray i put glitter all over my shoulders, chest and hands.

Thats it! Makeup is done. Lets get to the crafting part!

For the wings I made a frame of rigid wire.

. I glued foamed polyethylene to both sides. The material is very light and easy to work with.

Cut out many feathers and glued them with hot glue, starting from the bottom.

Attached straps from the reps tape and decorated them with feathers and rhinestones.

To create wings I took 16 m2 of polyethylene. And three days of work.

When they were done i decorated them with petals and roses.

To create headpiece i used the same wire and glued it with feathers as i used for wings.

And decorated it with roses and gems.

Horns are made out of foil, i put inside each a wire so they won't bend and stay in shape i want them to be.

I glued fiber to them to add more texture.

Then i painted them with acrylic paint and decorated with gems.

Please don't forger to cover the ends of wire with hot glue.

Decorated my dress with petals and roses.

I also sewed a decorative element to my dress and decorated it the same as a dress.

And look is done!

Thank you guys for watching! Hope you enjoyed!

OMG THIS SONG Book Tag [CC] - Duration: 10:28.

Hello there it's Samantha and today I'm coming to you with the Omg

This Song Book Tag. This tag was created by

Kate From Kate's Books Date and I will link her video down below

and I was tagged by Meagan from Meagan Precourt so thank you so much

Megan, for tagging me!

I have been

loving this tag and just waiting for my exams to be over so I could Film this video

because I love this tag I think it's awesome!

It reminds me very much of the Playlist Book Tag but it's a little bit different.

Basically, there are nine questions.

It's like a category sort of thing and then there's a question for a song

and then a question for a book.

So you have to choose a song and a book!

I'm just going to get on into it because I feel like it could be

potentially very long.

So question number one is: MY JAM - a song you must listen to every time it comes on, no matter

how old or how many times you've listened to it.

And the book question that goes along with this is: a book

you'll never get sick of.

And for that that is obviously, Harry Potter!

I adore Harry Potter so so much.

Question number two is: THROWBACK - a song that reminds you of

the cringiest time of your life.

The book question that goes along with this is: a book that also reminds you of this time, or just something you

wouldn't like as much if you picked it up for the first time now.

There was this one series I really liked. There were only

two books in It and there were supposed to be more, I swear

because it ended on a cliffhanger, but she never wrote anymore.

The first book was called Bite Me. It was by Melissa Francis.

I've definitely talked about it on my channel before, but I really enjoyed the two books.

It's about this girl

who, she was a vampire and nobody was allowed to know. And basically she had been dating someone.

She was forced to break up with him because

their parents decided to get married.

So her mum decided to marry his dad.

So they couldn't be together because they were gonna be step-siblings.

And it was just full of tension and it was wonderful.

Total trash! But it was really

fun! I wanted to see more from the series, but I think, if I reread it now, I would probably think it was a bit shit!

Number three is: REPLAY - a recent song you've had on repeat right now.

And the book question that goes along with this is:

a recent favourite book.

In the month of June, I read The Martian by Andy Weir.

I listened to it on audio book, and it was SO

funny! I loved it so

so much! I can't wait to watch the film! I haven't actually done it yet!

I loved the book it was so funny!

If you don't know what The Martian is about,

it's about this guy who gets left on Mars and it takes 4 years for NASA to send a crew out there, so

he has to try and learn to survive on Mars for 4 years and then a whole bunch of things happen and it was just,

my fave! It was so good!

Question number four is: GETS ME - and it's this song is ME.

And the question for this is: This book is me in book form.

I'm really not sure what book to go for for this, but I remember that, a few years ago,

Karla from BooksAndOtherNerdyThings made a video where she like connected a booktuber to a character

And she said that she thought

I was really similar to Isla from Isla and the Happily Ever After and when I read it I totally related.

I don't know if it's still accurate to me, because it's been a few years since I read that but I'm going for Isla.

Another one would be the Upside of Unrequited

because the girl in that has like never dated anyone,

and she's 17 years old. She's always had all these unrequited crushes and I'm like

ME. Single forever.

The next question Is: WUT and it's - weird but I like it?

And the book question for this is: a unique book that stuck out to you for whatever reason

Only one I can think of off

the top of my head Is This Savage Song by Victoria Schwab because it's a

YA book but there's no romance in it which like

never happens so it's pretty unique for that reason and also it's about

monsters and normally like all paranormal books are like Vampires of Werewolves.

The next question is: LET'S GO

Best pump up song for workouts or just life

We all knew there had to be some Panic! in here didn't we.

The little intro

song it's Panic! At the Disco.

So if you didn't know they were my favourite band, now you know!

The book question to go with this is a book that's

inspired you.

I'd say one I found really like inspiring and motivational was Connor Franta's Book - A Work in Progress.

I really really liked that book.

I really liked the photography in It and it really just had a feel to it of just like... I feel like Connor Is one

of those people who really just wants to like get the most out of life and I really felt that in his book.

It was really

inspirational in that aspect.

Also, his photography is just beautiful so it made me want to be a better photographer

Question number seven is: CHILL - Favorite chill or relaxing song.

The question for this is: a book, you'd curl up with and read on a rainy day.

I live in England.

Every day is rainy.

But I'm currently reading History Is All You Left Me by Adam Silvera

A lot of that takes place in winter in New York,

so it's kind of rainy and dreary, so I think maybe that one would be a good book

to read when it's horrible outside,

but apart from that I can't think of anything!

Question number eight is: ADDICTING - a guilty pleasure song

And the book question to go along with this is a guilty

pleasure read, or trashy/fast/light/fun read.

And for this one, I'm going to go for the Lux series by Jennifer L Armentrout.

These books are such trash, just complete trash but I love them!

SO enjoyable. The characters are ridiculous but great! I just love it!

Question number nine is: NOSTALGIA - Throwback you look back on fondly.

The book question for this is: a book you read forever ago that you look back on fondly,

or reminds you of a happy childhood time.

I'm gonna go for The Little House on the Prairie Books by

Laura Ingalls Wilder

I loved these books so much when I was younger!

I think I got the whole box set for like my ninth birthday or something like

that. There were nine books and I think I read

seven, so I never read the last two which was really annoying, but I really want to re-buy them because

I miss reading them. I thought

they were so great I loved them.

Anyway, those are all of the questions

I'm going to tag: Red from Little Red Reader,

Kassie from MissSassyKassie, and I'm going to tag

Alexandra from Books on My Nightstand.

You guys are tagged, unless you've already done it, in which case, I'm sorry.

That's going to be all for today's video, so I hope you liked it,

and if you did, please give it a thumbs up.

If you're new here, feel free to subscribe down below.

And I'll see you very soon with another video. BYEEE!

INFINITE - The Chaser MV(Eng/Greek) - Duration: 4:16.

Don't be sorry, you can abandon me spitefully and leave If that's what you want, yeah, goodbye

But that doesn't mean I have given up too My love wins

Aiya, go first, uhgiya diyuracha Uhgiyadiya, I will win her back

Even if you're ahead for a bit, I will catch up~

Protect her, so she won't forget me

I will go till the end to the place where my person is

Forget it, I knelt down and beat my heart That paused in front of the words of separation

Go away, I drag myself, who is burnt with sadness That is like rotten firewood

Why is your cooled heart making my heart race And wander every day?

I'm calling you, making myself stronger with love

Iya, go first, uhgiya diyuracha Uhgiyadiya I will win her back

Even if I'll hurt for a bit, I will smile once again

Protect her, so she won't forget me

I will go till the end to the place where my person is

Narrow the streets so I can catch you

I will risk everything to find my person

Yes, I tried to cast you out with a spiteful heart As I trampled on my instincts

My obsession toward you became faint And I'm calling it all love once again

Again today, I can't let you go or cut you out As if I'm possessed, I chase after you, who is filled in my eyes

I'm sorry girl, I don't ever want to let go of the line that is you

But it's okay because I will turn back your heart

It's not a big deal even if my heart is ripped apart

Protect her, so she won't forget me

I will go till the end to the place where my person is

My heart is like that, I only know one thing

So even though it is bent and in pain, it will love you

Don't be sorry, you can abandon me spitefully and leave

If that's what you want, yeah, good bye

But that doesn't mean I have given up too

What is Bible Armory? - Duration: 1:34.

This is a story about Michael.

Years ago Michael was what many people might call a comic book nerd.

He collected his action figures, read superhero comic books, painted armies of small model

Warriors and competitively played in trading card game tournaments.

The story gets interesting when Michael bought a Bible at a used bookstore and decided to

start reading and highlighting that Bible.

As Michael read, he changed.

He kept reading and highlighting and reading and highlighting until he had spent more money

on highlighters then he had spent on the Bible itself.

Michael stopped buying action figures.

He stopped playing trading card games.

Then Michael wanted to bring together his newfound love for the Bible and his old love

of trading cards.

Soon after Bible Armory was born.

And he began to publish the Bible on cards that can fit in your pocket.

You can find Michael and these Bible Armory scripture memory cards at BibleArmory.com

and on YouTube and Facebook.

Please help support Bible Armory by liking Bible Armory on Facebook and subscribing on

YouTube.

There are many struggles in this life so remember: the Bible is the Armory where we may equip

for the struggle.

Francisco Lopez and c/o Chamber Orchestra - Ibert Concerto - Duration: 2:52.

It is a fantastic experience

you meet many colleagues

which you have been playing with for many years

in youth orchestras

The people with I made my first musical steps

And now, you meet them in a project like this

where I come in front of the orchestra as a soloist

and without conductor

It is a very interesting project

You learn the piece in the best way possible

Usually when you play as a soloist

You play the concerto for the conductor

and he is the one encharged

coordinating the orchestra

Here there is no conductor

In a natural way I took that responsability

The same as all the members of the orchestra

which also take the iniciative

We are making decissions together

to find the best musical understanding as a group.

It is an extraordinary way of working on chamber music

in a huge ensemble like the orchestra is.

Chamber music allowes you to have a complete picture.

As an orchestra musician, every week

it is a new project, opera or symphony orchestra

every week is different.

Then, you have no time

to get deep in each piece you are playing

and being completely aware of what is happening.

The more you know what is happening around you

every part in the orchestra

the easier it is for you to play and understand it

What makes this orchestra very special it is that from the very first moment

From the first rehearsal, that knowledge is there

It is impossible to make it work without this preparation

that brings you to the point where you know very well

what each of your colleagues is playing.

Mănăstirea Sf. Ilie - TOPLITA - St. Elias Monastery (Harghita, Transylvania, Romania) - Duration: 8:03.

Sfantul Ilie (Saint Elias) Monastery is situated next to the European road E578, in the western part of Toplita

At the entrance is this gate with cells and bell tower, dating back to 1928

The history of this monastic settlement begins in 1910 when a wooden church, made in 1847, was brought here

The Orthodox monastery (abbey house, cells, bell tower, annexes) was built between 1923-1928

The founder of the monastery and the one who brought the wooden church is Miron Cristea, the first Patriarch of Romania

In 1928, Miron Cristea sanctifies the monastery with the patron the Saint Great Prophet Elias

St. Elias (Elijah) is celebrated on July 20 (Orthodox style) as a Miracle Worker and bringer of rain

The wooden church (made in 1847) brought by Miron Cristea in 1910 and installed in the garden of his parents

The main entrance to the monastery is a wooden gate, decorated with many Romanian symbols:

The coat of arms of the Diocese of Alba Iulia, the Holy Trinity, medallions of Romanian saints and rulers, the 7 hills of Rome,

Emperor Trajan, King Decebal, the mythical she-wolf suckling Romulus and Remus, Dacian Flag, Tree of Life, Infinity Column, etc.

Exterior canopy

The bell tower at the entrance to the monastery

The tricolor flag of Romania

New buildings, including the Bidding Prayer (Chapel) with the patron the Spring of Healing

The statue (bust) of Miron Cristea

The wooden church (1847) St. Elias brought by Miron Cristea in 1910 and the fountain, in back

The church has a small bell tower and a shingle roof

The church (1847) was brought here in 1910 from the nearby village of Stânceni

We enter the wooden church through the covered porch, located on the southern side

The church is composed of a closed porch, narthex, nave and altar (with the "proscomidiar" and "diaconicon")

The pillars and pilasters are carved

The miracle-making icon of the Virgin Mary with Baby Jesus, dressed in gilded silver

It was sanctified by Miron Cristea himself at the Holy Sepulcher of the Savior and then in Jordan's water

The nave of the church is covered with a semi- cylindrical vault supported on an octagonal base

On the vault of the nave is represented Jesus Pantocrator surrounded by the heavenly powers

The original painting of 1847 did not resist transport and had to be remaked

The original painting made in 1847 by the master Gligorie in Piatra Neamt is kept fragmentary

The iconostasis was carved in linden wood and painted by George Ressu (nephew of the Patriarch)

The icon of Virgin Mary with Child, sanctified by Miron Cristea at Jerusalem

The church was repainted in tempera on canvas, applied on wood

The painter is Dumitru Belizarie, acknowledged for the return of the church painting to the Byzantine and medieval Romanian traditions

The narthex of St. Elias church has a pentagonal shape and is covered by an octagonal vault

In the narthex, somewhere on the wall, there is also the votive painting of the founder

Patriarch Miron Cristea appears as a member of the Regency Council, protecting the King Michael I

In the western part of the narthex is the tombstone covering the tomb of the founder's parents

Between the old wooden church and the new chapel there is the statue of the founder

Miron Cristea (1868-1939) was born here in Toplita and was the first Patriarch of Romania (1925-1939)

The chapel of the monastery, much larger than the wooden church, was built and painted in frescoes between 1984-1994

The chapel was sanctified on July 20, 1994 with the patron of the Healing Spring (the first Friday after the Holy Easter)

The chapel consists of open porch, narthex, nave and altar

The fresco painting was made by Manolache Petrache (from Vrancea) and Ioan Botis (from Maramures)

The painting of the iconostasis is made in oil by hieromonk Sofronie Cantea, living in the monastery

In front of the big icon of the Mother of God there is the miracle-working icon "Sweet Kissing" (Child Jesus kisses his mother on the cheek)

This is one of the three icons sanctified at Jerusalem by Patriarch Miron Cristea

Divine services are daily, regularly, in the evening and in the morning

At the entrance of the narthex there is a choir, having a staircase and a small church store

Above the door from the entrance to the narthex is the ensemble "The Cover of the Virgin"

Annually, on the occasion of the celebration of the church patron, July 20 (St. Elias) at Toplita Monastery there is a great feast

There are many pilgrims from Maramures, Moldova, Barsa Country, Nasaud and even from abroad

The court of the monastery becomes too small for the crowd of believers, many in popular costumes

The buildings on both sides of the chapel house the abbey house, cells, the library and the museum

Cells ("The House of the Livings")

Bust of Miron Cristea

The Saint Elias wooden church

In the garden behind the church live many animals in harmony

The Abbey House ("Patriarch's House")

At the foundation of St. Elias Church, in the west, is the crypt of the Miron Cristea family

Next to the church is the fountain of "aghiasmatar" (holy water basin), with blessed water

It is said that the water here has the grace of healing, which is why the monastery also has the patron "The Healing Spring"

Trapeza (dining room, living room, at a monastery)

Xenodochium (guest house) recently built, with a capacity of 150 seats

Exit to the main gate
