This video shows how to use linear scaling to calculate a linear functions input into output

A voltage signal is shown in channel #1

The task is to recalculate it using function y= -12*a+6 (y-output, x-input)

First step is to enter the menu and go to log. channels settings

Channel #2 is in "data from other channel" mode (the very same settings could be applied to the source channel #1 as well)

Right now, not-modified value is copied into channel #2

Let the precision be the same as in the source channel

Next step is to use processing: linear scaling

As the function is y = -12*a+6 for input a = 0, output is y = -12*0+6 = 6

For input a = 10, output y = -12*10+6 = -114

The signal 0...10 V is now scaled according to the function

As a result, the user gets a signal in range of -114...6

Because the function is y = -12*x + 6

a bonus tip at the very end that is about illustrator antibody but first I

have two ways that you can improve your typography right now so the first way

you can improve your typography is going to be demonstrated on this business card

so take a closer look at the right-hand side of the business card what do you

think is wrong with it taking into account the typography what

would you say could be improved what I'm going to show you right now if we apply

something known as hierarchy the typography layout instantly looks more

appealing and professional hierarchy is one of the most important aspects

typography layout because firstly it draws the viewers attention to important

information and it also indicates where they should be looking but also it makes

the whole typography layout or seem more interesting and professional it's a

quick and easy way to spruce up your typography right now it doesn't have to

be limited to typography however it can also be used on graphics as well as

you're now seeing on screen but yeah keep in mind hierarchy when you're

actually working on typography to demonstrate the second way to improve

your typography right now we're going to look at these two liquor designs here

you notice that both logo designs have two fonts being used would you say they

look good together like an a-list celebrity couple your font should be

paired in visual harmony and they shouldn't clash in any way the fonts on

the first tee logo designs achieve this I feel but as we move down to the second

two Lego examples you can see how easily it is to create confusion and a lack of

we open up illustrator and we take the type tool by pressing T on your keyboard

you're going to be met by a standard font a font size font kerning and so

forth this can be annoying because maybe we want to start typing with all our

settings already selected to do this and go into window type and then choose

character Styles in the new box we can choose add new style

give you a new style a relevant name and then choose your settings so firstly you

can choose a font but also the size of the font the kerning styles and so forth

this is an awesome feature and TIFF because you can save multiple different

styles for example I could set up a style for main body of texts on them say

a brochure for example and then I just need to simply come into this window

here and select the star once after it's been saved with many different styles

saved you wouldn't have to waste time faffing around with setting up your

character styles or your type I'm all out of time today but hopefully in this

Gosia miała na sobie eleganckie kremowe spodnie, do których dobrała biała bluzkę z dziwnymi piórami na rękawach.

Uwagę zwracał też fikuśny kapelusz, który nieco przypominał lądujący statek UFO.

Na zamieszczonym na Instagramie nagraniu Gosia pomachała fanom w stylu brytyjskiej królowej.

Nam z kolei do złudzenia przypomina Melanię Trump.

Pozostaw maseczkę na włosach przez około 30-40 minut, po czym dokładnie zmyj ją wodą.Stosuj maseczkę 2 razy w tygodniu.

3. Awokado i jogurt naturalny.Jej obydwa składniki są wartościowym źródłem białek, wapnia i kwasów tłuszczowych – substancji, które znakomicie regenerują suche włosy oraz pomagają przywrócić im miękkość i blask.

Składniki na maseczkę.1 bardzo dojrzałe awokado.¼ szklanki naturalnego jogurtu (100 g).Sposób przygotowania i aplikacja.Przekrój awokado na pół, usuń pestkę i wydobądź zielony miąższ. Następnie zmiażdż go widelcem tak, by powstała jednolita zielona pasta.

Kiedy pozbędziesz się grudek, dodaj do pasty z awokado jogurt i również dokładnie wymieszaj.Wetrzyj „białe guacamole" w suche włosy, dokładnie pokrywając poszczególne pasma maseczką.

Pozostaw ją na włosach przez około 40 minut, aby składniki aktywne miały czas zadziałać, po czym dokładnie zmyj letnią wodą.Stosuj maseczkę z awokado i jogurtu 2-3 razy w tygodniu.

4. Masło kakaowe i olej kokosowy.Ta nieco egzotyczna maseczka stanowi bardzo silne źródło antyoksydantów, które w naturalny sposób chronią włosy przed działaniem szkodliwych czynników zewnętrznych i związanych z nimi wolnymi rodnikami.

Zarówno masło kakaowe, jak i olej kokosowy cechują się wysoką zawartością naturalnych olejków, które dogłębnie nawilżają mieszki włosowe, zapobiegając jednocześnie ich nadmiernemu wysuszaniu się.

Kiedy otrzymasz jednolitą mieszankę masła kakaowego z olejem kokosowym, zdejmij ja z ognia i odstaw do ostudzenia. Nie dopuść jednak do powrotu do ciała stałego.Wcieraj niewielkie ilości powstałego oleju w poszczególne pasma włosów na całej ich długości.

Dokładnie pokryj miksturą również skórę głowy.Pozostaw kakaowo-kokosowy olej na włosach przez około 30 minut, aby składniki aktywne miały czas zadziałać, po czym dokładnie zmyj strumieniem letniej wody.Stosuj olejek 3 razy w tygodniu.

5. Dynia z miodem.Dynia na suche włosy? Brzmi nieco zaskakująco, lecz w rzeczywistości dynia cechuje się bardzo wysoką zawartością składników odżywczych, które pozytywnie wpływają na kondycję włosów.

Można powiedzieć, że pomarańczowy miąższ dyni działa niczym naturalna odżywka, która dogłębnie nawilża i odżywia kosmyki.

Earlier this week at Wimbledon, the American player admitted she doesn't enjoy speaking to the media because she has other things to do.

And she doesn't enjoy watching other players on TV either.

Asked how it was to see Roger Federer in action, Venus said: 'I don't really watch tennis.

That's about it. I would be uneducated.

I don't really watch tennis.

I watch my match, and that's all.

I'm sure he plays amazing, though.' Williams defeated Alexandra Dulgheru in three sets on Wednesday and will now face Kiki Bertens in the third round.

'I'm going to try to play well.

I don't know what exactly to expect other than to continue to try to improve my game', Venus said.

'I've done that in both my matches, just continued to play better and better throughout the match.

I feel confident that I can do that.

What happens on her side of the net will be out of my control.

Professional Headshot Tips - What Do I Wear? - Duration: 2:55.

Let's jump in with the questions I've had submitted from my

community. Something that I am asked repetitively by my clients is WHAT DO I WEAR?

I was hoping Cat you'd be awesome and share your knowledge and advice on what somebody

should look to wear for a headshot photoshoot?

Well the bad news is there's no one-size-fits-all. The good

news is, is that it's what you feel comfortable in. The key to looking

good in your photos is preparation. firstly I'll talk about personal

grooming. if you need your haircut, if you're gonna dye your hair if you're

going to have your eyebrows done, don't have it done the day before or the

morning off, because you know we all have those moments where we're like oh I'll

just have my hair cut and it doesn't feel right it takes a couple of days to

grow into it. don't try something new just before

you're gonna have your photo shoot. These photos are going to be with

you for several months potentially years, so you really want them to represent you,

the way that you look generally. you might change your hair, you might do

other things, but you know really you want them to represent you as you are.

Clothing wise you want to feel comfortable. You don't want to turn up

and you know really not feel, because your body language changes when you wear

the right clothes. if you are wearing something that's too stiff or too tight

or uncomfortable you're gonna you know that's gonna come across in the photos.

you want to work clothes that are kind of tried and tested but you've worn

before, that you felt comfortable before, that people have complimented you on

before, you know you want to also be appropriate and

relevant so, if you have a dance company for example the last

thing you probably want to do is turn up wearing a corporate suit because it's

just not relevant for your organization and what you do and who you are.

The people that I know that run dance companies are dancers. and

so you want to turn up wearing that because it's as well as the verbal

cues that you're going to give on your website or on your social media,

think about the non verbal Q's that what you're wearing is giving.

I know that when we went for a coffee once Jemima, you were wearing a neck scarf that

had cameras on it. that's so relevant to what you do! and it wasn't

kind of blaringly shouting photographer at me but it's just a

really nice subtle tie into what you do, so things like are really important.

Just being at a networking event and having that on,

I've had people come up to me and say, 'Are you a photographer?'

Yes!

That's great, it's really good.

be limited to typography however it can also be used on graphics as well as

you're now seeing on screen but yeah keep in mind hierarchy when you're

actually working on typography to demonstrate the second way to improve

your typography right now we're going to look at these two liquor designs here

can choose a font but also the size of the font the kerning styles and so forth

this is an awesome feature and TIFF because you can save multiple different

styles for example I could set up a style for main body of texts on them say

a brochure for example and then I just need to simply come into this window

here and select the star once after it's been saved with many different styles

saved you wouldn't have to waste time faffing around with setting up your

character styles or your type I'm all out of time today but hopefully in this

Two Koreas wrap up basketball friendlies - Duration: 1:51.

The first inter-Korean basketball friendlies in over a decade wrapped up with a draw and

both sides taking a few wins.

But, according to our Oh Jung-hee, this was more than just about the competition, rather,

a chance to learn more about each other and explore ways to improve sports exchanges adn

cooperation.

Wrapping up the second and final day of Unification Basketball Games,... the South and North Korean

officials shared their impressions of the friendlies.

A farewell dinner was held in Pyongyang on Thursday evening,... hosted by Choe Hwi, the

chairman of North Korea's National Sports Guidance Committee.

Choe said,... seeing the players running together,... he felt the two Koreas are, in the end, one

-- sharing the same history and language.

"In sports, there's a winner and a loser... but, there's no such thing when it comes to

achieving unification.

Let's further strengthen our sports exchanges and win even more gold medals at the 18th

Asian Games."

South Korea's Unification Minister Cho Myoung-gyon said...

every game had been heart-warming.

"I believe we'll move much closer to reconciliation, peace, and unification if the South and the

North go together, just like our basketball players did.

I'm sure the success of these basketball games paved the way for more inter-Korean sports

exchanges."

The two Koreas played four games in total -- two each on Wednesday and Thursday.

On Wednesday, the teams were a mix of South and North Koreans.

Master the Third Shot Drop - Pickleball 411 - Duration: 4:02.

Hey everybody, it's Rusty from Pickleball Channel and we're at the Minto US Open

Pickleball Championships where these courts have been used by thousands of

people all week long. And even though the sun's gone down we were able to squeeze

in a special Pickleball 411 showing you how to learn and apply the

third shot drop. So let's learn and play.

Pickleball 411 is powered by Hyland's Leg Cramps proud supporter of

On today's Pickleball 411, I'm excited to

be joined by Seymour Rifkind, the President of the International

Pickleball Teaching Professional Association. Riff, thanks for being here.

Riff: My pleasure. Rusty: Riff and the IPTPA certified

professionals have been helping people learn pickleball all around the world. So

what are we going to show them today? Riff: Today we're going to talk about the

third shot drop. That's a shot that many people are intimidated by. Well, we're

going to show you through progressive learning a simple technique of how you

can not only learn it but begin to apply it at the lower skill level. Rusty: So let's

break it down. Riff: The basic principle in pickleball is whoever controls the net

controls the game. And the third shot drop allows you to effectively

transition to the net.

The third shot drop is really nothing more than a long

dink so that's where we're going to start.

So once you develop consistency and proper technique in your dink, take two

steps back and do the same exact technique with a little bit greater

follow-through. Once you've taken those first two steps and develop confidence

and consistency in your stroke, simply take another two steps back and at that

point you'll be in the transition area in the middle of the court.

So how this modified game is going to work is, we're going to change the

dimensions of the court. We're going to reduce the size of the court by

approximately four feet and then we're just going to play a regular game.

By shortening the court, more of the return of serves are going to land softly

in the transition area. So at this point your long dink is actually the third

shot drop in a modified game.

As you move back, you're using the same exact

pendulum swing; the only thing that changes is a higher follow-through.

Remember the apex of the ball progressively moves back with you.

Now that you're consistent at the modified game with the short court, let's

take it another step further. Simply move the baseline a little bit further and

continue playing your regular game. Once you develop consistency at that next

level now you're ready for a regular full court game.

Remember the third shot

drop is nothing more than a long dink. Follow it up to the no volley zone line, I

promise you're going to win a lot more games.
