WAYNE: Now enough about this, it's all about this deal.

Barbara, the board or the small box?

- The board.

WAYNE: The board.

This is yours, Carly, unless you take $500.

- You know, I really like playing,

so I'm going to take the box.

The box. WAYNE: Okay.

What's in the box?

Cactus toys.

Carly.

- But that's kind of cool, let's be honest.

Cactuses?

WAYNE: Yeah, for the kid that you love,

but you don't want to touch.

Cactus toys.

Carly, thank you for being on the show.

Thank you, sweetheart.

Take a seat.

Barbara, you have dodged two Zonks.

Now we're going to add one more letter.

Tiffany.

Ah.

C-A-S.

What could be that?

- Cash.

WAYNE: It could be cash.

It could be a Zonk casserole.

- Yeah, but I think it's cash.

WAYNE: It could be a cast.

- It could be, but I think it's cash.

WAYNE: $1,000 to not take the cash, if you think it's cash.

Why would I give you $1,000 to not take the cash?

- No, I'm going to stick to that.

I'm going to take the board.

WAYNE: What's on the board?

TIFFANY: Let's see.

WAYNE: Wait, wait, don't get so happy.

We don't know how much cash.

We could just give you one buck and that would be the thing.

Right? - True.

WAYNE: Okay. Tiffany.

Oh.

JONATHAN: It's the "Let's Make a Deal" vault.

WAYNE: How much cash is inside the "Let's Make A Deal" vault?

$7,000!

(cheers and applause)

WAYNE: Congratulations.

CHAPTER IV

A ROW WITH SAM

"What are you thinking about, Joe?"

It was his sister Clara who asked the question, and she had noticed that her brother was rather

dreaming over his books than studying.

It was the Monday night after the Saturday when the memorable game with the Resolutes

had taken place.

"Oh, nothing much," and Joe roused himself from a reverie and began to pour over his

books.

"Well, for 'nothing much' I should say that it was a pretty deep subject," went

on Clara with a laugh, as she finished doing her examples.

"It isn't one of the girls here, is it Joe?

There are a lot of pretty ones in our class."

"Oh—bother!" exclaimed Joe.

"Let a fellow alone, can't you, when he's studying?

We have some pretty stiff work I tell you!" and he ruffled up his hair, as if that would

make his lessons come easier.

"It's a heap worse than it was back in Bentville."

"I think so too, but I like it, Joe.

We have a[32] real nice teacher, and I've met a lot of pleasant girls.

Do you know any of the boys?"

"Hu!

I guess you want me to give you an introduction to them!"

exclaimed Joe.

"No more than you do to the girls I know," retorted his sister, "so there!"

"Now, now," gently remonstrated Mrs. Matson, looking up from her sewing, "you young folks

keep on with your lessons.

Your father can't go on reading his paper if you dispute so."

Involuntarily Joe and his sister glanced to where Mr. Matson sat in his easy chair.

But he did not seem to be reading, though he held the paper up in front of him.

Joe fancied he saw a look of worriment on his father's face, and he wondered if he

was vexed over some problem in inventive work, or whether he was troubled over business matters

concerning his new position.

Then there came to the lad's mind a memory of his mother's anxiety the night he had

come in from the game, and he wondered if the two had any connection.

But he knew it would not do to ask, for his father seldom talked over business matters

at home.

Finally, seeming to feel Joe's look, Mr. Matson, after a quick glance at his son, began

to scan the paper.

[33]

"Go on with your studying, Joe and Clara," commanded Mrs. Matson with a smile.

"Don't dispute any more."

"I was only asking Joe if he knew any nice boys," spoke Clara in vindication.

"I know how fond he was of playing baseball back in Bentville, and I was wondering if

he was going to play here."

"Guess I haven't much chance," murmured Joe half gloomily, as he drew idle circles

on the back blank leaf of his book.

"Why not?" asked Clara quickly.

"The girls say the boys have a good nine here, even if they were beaten last Saturday.

There's going to be another game this Saturday, and Helen Rutherford is going to take me."

"Oh, yes, there's a good enough team here," admitted Joe.

"In fact the Silver Stars are all right, but every position is filled.

I would like to play—I'd like to pitch.

I want to get all the practice I can on these small teams, so when I go to boarding school

I'll have something to talk about."

"And you're still set on going to boarding school?" asked Mrs. Matson, sighing gently

as she looked at her son.

"I certainly am—if it can be managed," replied Joe quickly.

[34]

Mr. Matson started so suddenly that the paper rattled loudly, and his wife asked:

"What's the matter, John, did something in the news startle you?"

"Oh—no," he said slowly.

"I—I guess I'm a bit nervous.

I've been working rather hard lately on an improvement in a corn reaper and binder.

It doesn't seem to come just right.

I believe I'll go to bed.

I'm tired," and with "good-nights" that were not as cheerful as usual he left

the room.

Mrs. Matson sighed but said nothing, and Joe wondered more than ever if any trouble was

brewing.

He hoped not.

As for Clara she was again bent over her lessons.

The Silver Star nine was variously made up.

A number of lads worked in different town industries, one even being employed in the

harvester works where Mr. Matson was employed.

Others attended school.

Joe Matson had attended the academy in the town of Bentville whence they moved to Riverside,

and on arriving in the latter place had at once sought admission to the high school.

He was given a brief examination, and placed in the junior class, though in some of the

studies the pupils there were a little ahead of him, consequently he had to do some hard

studying.

[35]

The ambition to attend a boarding school had been in Joe's mind for a long while, and

as his father was in moderate circumstances, and soon hoped to make considerable from his

patents, Joe reasoned that his parents could then afford to send him.

Among others on the nine who attended the high school were Darrell Blackney and Sam

Morton, who were in the senior class, and Tom Davis, whose acquaintance Joe had made

soon after coming to Riverside.

There was a school nine, but it was made up of the smaller boys and Joe had no desire

to join this.

In fact none of the lads who were on the Silver Stars belonged to the school team.

"Well, I'm through, thank goodness!" finally exclaimed Clara, as she closed her

books.

"And I am too," added Joe, a moment later.

"Hope I don't flunk to-morrow."

"Are you going to the game Saturday?" asked Clara.

"Oh, I guess so.

Wish I was going in it, but that's too much to hope for."

"Don't you know any one on the nine?"

"Yes, Tom Davis."

"He's the boy back of us, isn't he?

His sister Mabel is in my class."

[36]

"Yes," assented Joe, "but Tom is only a substitute."

"Maybe you could be that at first, and then get a regular place," suggested Clara.

"Um!" murmured Joe.

He didn't have a very high opinion of girls' knowledge of baseball, even his sister's.

When Joe reached home from school the following afternoon he saw his mother standing on the

front steps with a letter in her hand.

"Oh, Joe!" she exclaimed, "I was just waiting for you.

Your father——"

"Is there anything the matter with father?" the lad gasped, his thoughts going with a

rush to one or two little scenes that had alarmed him lately.

"No, nothing at all," answered his mother with a smile.

"But he just hurried home from the factory with this note and he wanted you, as soon

as you came home, to take it to Moorville.

It's for a Mr. Rufus Holdney there.

The address is on it, and I guess you can find him all right.

You're to wait for an answer.

Go on your wheel.

It's only a few miles to Moorville, and a straight road, so your father says."

"I know where it is," answered Joe.

"Tom Davis has relatives there.

He pointed out the[37] road to me one day.

I'll go right away.

Here, catch hold of my books, mother, and I'll get my wheel out of the barn," for

a barn went with the house Mr. Matson had rented.

A little later the lad was speeding down the country road that pleasant spring afternoon.

Joe was a good rider and was using considerable strength on the pedals when suddenly, as he

turned a sharp curve, he saw coming toward him another cyclist.

He had barely time to note that it was Sam Morton, the pitcher of the Silver Stars, and

to utter a warning shout when he crashed full into the other lad.

In a moment there was a mix-up of wheels, legs and arms, while a cloud of dust momentarily

hid everything from sight.

At first Joe did not know whether or not he was hurt, or whether Sam was injured.

Fortunately Joe had instinctively put on the brake with all his strength, and he supposed

the other lad had done likewise.

Then, as the dust cleared away, and Joe began to pull his arms and legs out of the tangle,

and arise, he saw that Sam was doing the same thing.

"Hope you're not hurt much!" was Joe's first greeting.

"Humph!

It isn't your fault if I'm not," was the ungracious answer, as Sam felt of his

pitching[38] arm.

"What do you mean by crashing into a fellow that way for, anyhow?"

"I didn't mean to.

I didn't know that curve was so sharp.

I'd never ridden on this road before."

"Well, why didn't you blow your horn or ring your bell or—or something?"

"Why didn't you?"

demanded Joe with equal right.

"Never mind.

Don't give me any of your talk.

You're one of the fresh juniors at school, aren't you?"

"I don't know that I'm 'fresh,'" replied Joe quietly, "but I am a junior.

I'm sorry if I hurt you, but I couldn't help it."

"Yes you could, if you knew anything about riding a wheel."

"I tell you I couldn't," and Joe spoke a bit sharply.

"I was into you before I knew it.

And besides, you ran into me as much as I did into you."

"I did not.

If you don't know enough to ride a wheel, keep off the roads!" snarled the pitcher.

"If I'm stiff for Saturday's game it will be your fault."

"I hope you won't be stiff," spoke Joe, and he said it sincerely.

[39]

"And if my wheel is broken you'll have to pay for it," went on Sam.

"I don't think that's right," said Joe firmly.

"It was as much your fault as mine, and my wheel may be broken too.

I'm going to look," he added as he lifted his bicycle from where it was entangled with

Sam's.

A bent pedal, which would not interfere with its use, was all the damage Joe's wheel

had sustained and beyond a few bent spokes and a punctured tire Sam's seemed to have

suffered no great harm.

"I'll help you straighten those spokes," said Joe cheerfully.

"It won't take but a minute.

I can have my father straighten my pedal at the factory.

And I'll help you mend and pump up your tire.

I'm sorry——"

"Look here!" burst out Sam in a rage, "I don't want any of your help.

You're too fresh.

You come banging into a fellow, knocking him all over and then you think you can square

things by offering to help him.

I don't want any of your help!"

"Oh, very well," replied Joe quietly.

"Then I'll be going on.

I've got an errand to do.

But I'd like to help you."

"Mind your own business!" snapped Sam, still[40] rubbing his pitching arm.

He made no motion to pick up his wheel.

Joe was half minded to make an angry retort but he thought better of it.

He wheeled his bicycle to the hard side-path of the road, and, ascertaining that his letter

was safe, prepared to mount and ride away.

"And mind you, if my arm is stiff, and I can't pitch Saturday it will be your fault,

and I'll tell the fellows so," called Sam as he leaned over to pick up his wheel.

"All right, only you know it isn't so," replied Joe quietly.

As he pedaled on he looked back and saw Sam straightening some of the bent spokes.

The pitcher scowled at him.

"Hum," mused Joe as he speeded up.

"Not a very good beginning for getting on the nine—a run-in with the pitcher.

Well, I guess I wouldn't be in it anyhow.

I guess they think I'm not in their class.

But I will be—some day!" and with a grim tightening of his lips Joe Matson rode on.

How To Make Your Relationship Last- Jane Fendelman Retreat for Couples Phoenix Arizona 2017 - Duration: 4:42.

Female News Anchor: Oh we all want to find somebody to love

right? And then what happens? You know

what they say; romance is easy

relationships are hard. We all know

sometimes a walk down the aisle does not

mean a fairytale ending but can we do

more to make it to forever?

Male Anchor: yeah marriage

counselor Jane Fendelman says she can

save any couple

Female anchor: any couple

Male anchor: from splitting up any couple

Female anchor: Any couple.

Jane Fendelman: any couple as long as they're both

willing to work it on.

Male anchor: They have to be willing we got to get down to

the nitty-gritty because you have a

retreat relationship retreat happening

this weekend.

Jane Fendelman: Right.

Male Anchor: And so the first step

obviously they're interested in

reconciling if they're coming to you

right yeah they have to want to. Jane Fendelman: Right,

this retreat is for people that are

doing good and what to do great, and

people who are in trouble and really

want to fix things and people who maybe

have even already separated. I see so

many people that are still in love

splitting up it's unnecessary.

Female ancho: huh?

Jane Fendelman: It's really simple they just need some

basic tools to really fix it that's why

I have such a good track record. Female anchor: Do you

think that we have just gotten into sort

of the mindset that half of the couples

will divorce so maybe that's me or maybe

that's I mean do you think we're

accepting sort of that marriage is not

forever a little too easily? Jane Fendelman: Yeah, yes

that and I think it's such a dark maze

that people just don't know how to get through.

Female anchor: Okay. Jane Fendelman: That it's so frustrating and their

heart hurts and they just want to get

away but what they don't realize is

they're taking all their patterns with

them into the next relationship, so what we

need to do is just really fix the

pattern because people who were still in

love shouldn't split up.

Female anchor: Right.

Jane Fendelman: That's so sad. Male anchor: What about cheating because that

especially nowadays with so many

different apps and websites and all that

stuff that kind of I guess propel and

and push people toward cheating

can you save that marriage?

Jane Fendelman: Cheating is

a tough one. Cheating is a tough one

because when people cheat they have a

really deeply engrained fear of love

when we cheat... so there's little ways

that everybody sabotage their

relationship we all have those patterns

we have to break, but cheating is kind of

the tippy top one because it's a vow you

and me whether you're in a monogamous

committed relationship or a marriage

it's a vow you and me, but I have had couples

in the 24 years that I've been a

counselor I have had couples actually

come back from an infidelity but it

requires a lot of personal evaluation

and growth, growth because it's a

type of immaturity it's a wanting your

cake and other cake too.

Female anchor: hey yeah

Jane Fendelman: so um yeah

couples can come back from an

infidelity but I can save any couple as

long as they're both willing to work and

they're both willing to be completely

bald faced honest. Female anchor: So while we have you

here for the next minute or so talk to a

couple who maybe in a good place what

can we do to strengthen our marriage

what can we do to kind of remind

ourselves can you get in the routine of

daily life or maybe you forget what it

is that I fell in love with or what do I

need to bring to the table that my

partner does deserve? Jane Fendelman: Like the courting...

Female anchor: yeah

Jane Fendelman: This is crazy because right when I

found out I was going to be on your show

I also got called by E Entertainment and

I did a counseling session with a couple

on Total Bellas it was so cool and it's a couple that's doing well.

It's JJ and

Lola and they're doing well they just

lost that depth of connection like life

gets busy and they're just missing each

other and so there's a video on my

website there's a teaser clip but if

your viewers want it

Female anchor: Okay

Jane Fendelman: Just text me or message me and i'll send you it for free

and it's called the bonding exercises

and it helps couples really get a heart

and soul connection with each other and

you have to learn how to... there's being and

there's doing and people have to do both

you can get busy busy busy where you

forget you lose your connection and you

forget to court and get heart and soul connected

and you have to stop and do it

it has to be like um...it's like a

precious plant your sacred relationship Female anchor: Practice, and tend to it.

Male anchor: You got to work on it yeah. Jane Fendelman: Tend to it and care for it. Female Anchor: We're going to have to have

her back because there's a lot to talk about.

Jane Fendelman: I agree.

Male anchor: There is but you still have openings for

your retreat this weekend information on

our website azfamily.com or go to JaneFendelman.com

Female anchor: Yeah two day retreat. You don't have to

stay there just for the day.

Jane Fendelman: Right you don't have to sleepover. It's Saturday and Sunday this

weekend. Female anchor: And you're gonna give everybody

hope so that's that's a really powerful

gift thank you so much nice to meet you Jane Fendelman: Thank You!

Eight Ear Washes | Auburn Medical Group - Duration: 8:22.

hey guys thanks for joining us Sharon

needs her ear clean right right okay so

this one here on the right more so than

the left but they both do shows there's

wax on them and in quite a bit just more

on the right is it feeling clogged yes

it feels clogged plus I've got that

range ringing from it how long has it

been going on on and off the ringing has

been going on for a few years getting

worse I mean I mean the plug field on

the plug feeling as me for a few weeks

forged as I tried right before I went to

San Diego I was gone for about eight

days and before I left I tried two days

of the hydrogen peroxide and I just

didn't relieve that it made it worse I

think okay well we will certainly go in

possibly the hydrogen peroxide is making

our job here today easier even though it

doesn't do any good for you at home I

still do recommend using like half water

hot water as hot as you can stand in

hydrogen peroxide and legt sit in there

usually it'll help but in this case it

wasn't enough I was getting straight

hydrogen peroxide oh yes warmth helps

and that's what we're going to do here

today yeah alright so get ready for some

warm water

sorry it's dripping on your arm there

try to hold it out

okay we do see the wax is starting to

come out already and we can see wax

moving around

over there and okay there you

so we've got this to you don't want to

see idea that's it okay to theatre not

to see it that's good oh yeah that okay

fine powder we're doing like that really

wow we're doing something here you go

unclog so with that out of the way then

I'll take another peek in there because

this is still ready y ax is still in

there in the right ear following first

washing and curettage and we'll start

what's the good it done will go a little

faster

but come out

that was probably yet so I'm going to

take on luck I get into the ear and

there's the eardrum

i hurting you what all right no wax same

moving on to the left ear I was gonna

close to each other there for eight

years and I get to see an ear doctor for

the same thing and when she saw the

eardrum she sang to it you did not say

I'm sorry 28 yeah she worked primarily I

think we children oh it was delightful I

generally been using to my eardrum

before I can do that what they call ASMR

where I whisper into your are you

familiar with that no that's the thing

on YouTube also work people will

generally don't look everything's on the

kids they'll put on it doesn't show

anything here it's a people put on

headphones and listen to recordings of

people whispering oh you're close to the

microphone and you know it kind of makes

you have that to show yeah apparently

that's a desirable sensation we go all

set

yeah you get the nordstrom then I'll get

the dutch brothers in little

commercialize it there we go makes the

pressure get your donation a little bit

then i can save these in cases of people

in their help but not with this device

yeah this one well here i'll just

briefly show it it squirts is it where

the whole I don't know where it's good

i'll show you which way it goes it's not

direct it hits the sides of it and

that's why it's considered safer than

just taking a syringe in this square

that's trading many devices squirts

great straight in

so we're going to call this after seven

of a lot 40 floors i think this canal is

shaped differently than the other one

now the doctor earlier to mention that

given what we've done here i think i'm

going to recommend that we don't

continue doing the washing but rather

that we have you used some

over-the-counter ear wax softening we

found out that we lost the audio on this

clothing that we did with sharon so I

have to repeat the the closing here

thanks so much for joining us we enjoy

doing this procedure this was unique in

that we didn't completely get that

cleaned out on her left ear and you can

see if I really wanted to get that out

but sometimes the better thing to do is

just let something not as invasive like

squirting water in a person's ear take

its time like the over-the-counter wax

softener let it do its job it's better

off for the patient lower risk of doing

something from a procedure and

everything comes out better in the end

it just takes a little longer it's kind

of frustrating when you want to see that

come out but patient's best interests do

what's less likely to cause them harm

and that's what we did in this case so

she went home did the earwax softener at

home we thank our patrons booboo Kitty

and Lindsay antwine who helped to make

this possible for everybody to enjoy and

everybody can see the behind the scenes

and some of the procedures that don't

make it to the regular channel by

becoming a part of the patreon until

next time does dr. mark Bunn telling all

of you stay good health

you

Why You Can't Put Off Love - Duration: 14:37.

The topic of love always, always

fascinates me. Why are there so

many people that are putting off things

like expressing their love to their loved

ones. Example, often people put off things

like spending time with their loved ones, their

kids, their personal relationships,

their parents, and I always hear the same

thing, "I don't have time" but the

amount of time they spend on

things that are not important in their life

or the amount of time they spend

worrying about things that either not

important or never going to happen is

huge. So how about prioritizing

prioritizing what really matters in your

life? How about utilizing down time to

think about what you want to do in your

free time? Let's talk about kids. Kids

need and want only one thing from you

and it's time. It's not quality time, it's

time. Time to goof off, time to play, time

to talk, time to feel loved, time to feel

important and time to learn from you

That's what they want to do. Nowadays

it looks like parents are scheduling every

minute of their kid's life but not so much

time to make them feel loved so let me

share today with you four ideas to

change that. Number one, make your kid

feel loved. How? Ask them, how do you know

I love you? How do you know I

love you? And what is it that I do or say

that make you feel loved by me? Simple

questions and you are going to get simple answers.

And if you have more than one kid

you're probably going to get different

answers with each of your kids and then

what you do with that information you

simply do or say more of the things that

they told you. They just just gave you

their love strategy. One of my kids

I asked him, how do you know I love you and he

says, well... because you

tell me. I said, okay great. The other one

I asked, "How do you know I love you?" and he says,

it's because, you know, you listen to me. I'm

like awesome! Because basically they give

you their love strategy. It's brilliant!

Simple! Do more of whatever answer they

give you. Do more of that. It works! Now guess

what, you can do the same thing with your

spouse or with the person who is in your

personal relationship. How do

you know I love you? What is it that I do

or say that make you feel loved by me?

It's amazing how much information you

can get from simple questions like that.

It's powerful. Try that. I guarantee

you're going to be amazed. It doesn't matter

if you're just starting a relationship

or you are 10 years or 20 or 50 years in

the relationship. It's brilliant and

sometimes we have the tendency to think we

know. Maybe we don't. Alright so try

that. Number two, I think it's time to put

aside the the time management thing, you

know, and let's start focusing on

mental management. So several times a day,

check, just check yourself, How am I

feeling right now? Am I feeling love? Am I

feeling excitement? Am I feeling joy? Am

I feeling happiness? Just check to see

how you're feeling and if you don't feel

any of those or if you want to feel more

of those, just ask yourself simple

question, what am I happy about in my

life right now? What about am I excited

in my life right now? Who do I love and who

loves me? And if you having a hard time

to come up with an answer because, Oh

there's nothing to be happy in my life

right now. That's okay, relax, take a deep

breath. That's okay and just ask yourself

what could I be happy in my life right

now? what could I be excited in my life

right now? I could have

more joy in my life right now and just

do this several times a day. So check in

and you don't need time for that. You can

do that in the shower, in your car, in the

bus, in the grocery store but what it

does. It gets

your mental state into the right place

it's a great place to be, having joy

happiness, excitement, love, the feeling of

love in your life. It's powerful. Try

that. Number three, be engaged with your

loved one. Be engaged with your loved one

let them know that you are here for them

and then act. Don't just say I'm here for

you, no, act. Be present. Let them know

you're here for them. Look at them in the

eyes, smile. Have you ever look at your

kids, have you ever like look at them and

for a few seconds and there's that beautiful

smile coming out of you or them at the

moment? That's powerful. Listen to them listen

your kids or your loved one. If they

want to share something with you, listen to

them. Be present, be present and listen to

what they have to say maybe for you, you

think it's not important what they're

saying but guess what, to them it is and

so when you get home spend the time to

be with your loved one be present

listen to them and I know some people

need a break once they get home, Oh I had a

terrible day, I need my break okay

take a break, you know, take your

break but make sure it's a mental break

make sure that you take that time to

either meditate or just relax by closing

your eyes. Read something maybe or do

some stretching, take a quick shower, it

has to be a mental break because if your

break is to check your email or watch

the news or check the game or do

something like this, that's just another

that's just another activity, that's not

a mental break, that's a distraction so

here's an idea on how you can do that. On

your way back home, just think about the

joy you can bring to your loved one just

think about the things you can do as

soon as you get home, just think about

how present you can be once you get home

and I know some people is going to say

well I got to pick up the kids, I got to

do the dinner, I got to do the dishes

I got to do.. okay, that's fine but during

that time, you can think about how to

bring the joy around you, how to be

present with your loved one just put

that stuff away that needs to be done

and take a break because you want to do

that instead of focusing i have to do

this, do that... no, take a break

you should be present with yourself so that

you can be present with your loved one

that's the best thing you can do for

yourself, be prepared, have your mental

state and if you're mental state is

not where you want it to be, change it

that's ok. Ask yourself some powerful

question that I just shared with you

and be the best. That's how you become

engaged, so decide on your way back home

to be fully engaged with your loved one

you spouse, your personal relationships and

with your kids. Alright... and number

four, schedule time with your loved one

go on a date. Have you ever been on a

date with your loved one, with your

spouse, with your personal relationship, yes

probably at the beginning, right? Probably

at the beginning of the relationship, you

probably bought flowers or you bought

some gift or you went to dinner or you set

beautiful things to them or you hold

them a certain way, right? Did you stop

doing that? Why? Why would you stop that?

Probably because life got the best out

of you and that's okay. Whatever happened

in the past doesn't matter, what matters

is what you do right now, the present is

now so make sure that this week or next

week, now, schedule a time with your loved

one. Hey, you know what, why don't we do

that, that day and whatever excuses you

may hear in the back of your head about, "Oh, it

can't be done, we don't have the time or we

have the kid, listen, it's all about

priorities. There's always a way and is

there anything more important than to be

engaged, connected with your loved one? I

don't think so.

being connected with your loved one is the

most important thing you can ever do

for your balance, for your life balance

so start with that. Give them the gift of

your time and vice versa. How about your

kids? Have you ever been on a date with

your kids? If you haven't, maybe it's time

to do it. Take the time to learn more

about who they are, what do they like, who

are they friends. Take the time to

coordinate with them. What a great way to

connect with them and by the way

scheduling time with them doesn't mean

taking them monday running practice

violin class on wednesdays, sunday taekwondo

No, what it means is

to find out where do they like to go

what do they like to do

and then do that thing with them

take them to the places they like. You

know take the time with them. Be with

them, be present, be engaged, be connected

learn from them, there's so much to learn

about the kids because one day you know

they grow up and they leave and then we're

like, what happened so create those

memories those engagement they will

thank you for later on and you have so

much joy you can get out of it. It's very

powerful. An example, my boys they love

to go to the park. I mean it's always, let's

go to the park let's play to the park

let's go to the park and so every

morning before going to school, we go to

the park. We just leave early and we go

to the park. And guess what, I am NOT

sitting down on the bench checking my

email on my device. No, I'm running

with them, I'm trying to catch them, we

play ball we play different things. They

get so excited every time they begged me

to go to take them to the park and I

always take them unless it's minus-20

degrees but it's an amazing way to

connect with them, they love that, I love

that. On a date, I ask them where do

you want to go, they always say the same

thing, we're gonna go sushi. I said okay

let's go sushi! I love sushi! They love

sushi, we had a great time so take the

time to learn more about the things they

like to do,

what they like to explore and things

like that and be connected. Don't do

something while you're with them. That doesn't

count, it doesn't count. If you have more

than one kid ,you can do date one-on-one or you

know, double dates, whatever works. Look,

what's important is to remind yourself

how lucky you are to have those people

in your life and vice-versa. Realize that

right now today, tonight, this morning

whatever time it is for you when you're

watching or listening to this, be aware

of that, how lucky we are to have them in

our life. So what I would love for you to

start applying those idea, see what you

might find out, give it a try and before

you say, well, that will work for me, I

don't have the time or I do it tomorrow

just do it now. Do it for yourself, do it

for you loved one. you deserve. They deserve it

The world needs more smile and more

joy. The world needs more love, the world

needs more of the good stuff so go

out there, be engaged with your loved ones

be with them and have an outstanding life.

Thank you.

If it's all for nothing anyway, who cares?

Here's something to keep in mind though... if you're right that there is no God, and

the religious folks are wrong, they've lost absolutely nothing.

However – if God DOES exist, then YOU Lose EVERYTHING.

Just something to keep in mind while you go out picketing against the equivalent of magical

unicorns – as you believe.

How does war really impact cinema? | HitFix - Duration: 2:15.

Where did the idea come from to have five, master filmmakers from today,

weigh in on five filmmakers who came back from war then.

Well it was interesting, it was a book by Mark Harris, an amazing book. And before the book came out I got a call

from Steven Spielberg and he said, "Try to come up with something different." And I thought, what is better

than a director to talk about a director?

Five filmmakers wanted to respond as so many millions of men and women responded. They chose to serve.

why do you think filmmakers now are not going over seas and shooting films, the way these five filmmakers did.

Well it's a completely different time. Back then those directors were selected because the message needed to

be sent out to young soldiers about the function of going to war. The films that was being made by the

army just weren't working so that's when they came up with the idea, maybe Hollywood can help.

Western civilization was at stake and we're going to fight until we win. These filmmakers changed the world.

Now you can have instant viewing of any given event on your cell phone. So it would not make any sense to have

A bunch of directors deciding to go to war.

So Laurent, where can people find you on social media, and where can they watch, Five Came Back?

You can find me on Instagram and on Twitter. And you can find Five Came Back on Netflix.

That's all the time we have for Five Came Back on UPROXX but for more information on the show, please keep coming back to HitFix on UPROXX.

Southern California Will Be the Proving Ground for Border Wall Prototypes - Duration: 5:14.

Southern California Will Be the Proving Ground for Border Wall Prototypes

BY WILMOT PROVISO

With the bids in on Donald Trumps border wall, now its time to pick the finalists

to build the barrier.

And it wont just be done on paper part of the process is building a prototype of

the wall for federal officials to judge.

And where will those prototypes be built?

In sunny Southern California the most liberal-infested state in this great country.

Oh, the irony.

The irony.

According to the San Diego Union-Tribune, a statement from U.S. Customs and Border Protection

confirmed on Monday that prototypes will be built on federal land in Otay Mesa, a community

in San Diego County.

Aside from being in one of the most liberal areas of the most liberal state in the land,

Otay Mesa is also home to one of two border crossings in the county.

In other words, its the perfect place to put up the prototype walls.

Up to 20 firms will be competing in the design round, according to the Union-Tribune, although

The Associated Press had previously reported the number as between four and 10.

The prototypes are expected to cost between $200,000 and $400,000.

The quarter-mile strip of federal land is within 120 feet of the border; its ideal

because it would allow authorities to judge how wall prototypes would work in a heavily

trafficked area.

The winners would be selected on or around June 1, and prototype building should commence

that month, according to AP.

While protests are expected, San Diego police said they plan to allow them so long as theyre

non-violent.

As part of our community policing philosophy, we work closely with any party or group that

wishes to express their views in a law-abiding manner, San Diego police spokesman Lt.

Scott Wahl said.

Needless to say, California liberals are furious.

State Sen. Ricardo Lara has even introduced legislation that would forbid the state from

dealing with any contractors who work on the wall.

Its clear that President Trump intends to stick taxpayers with the cost of a border

wall that will hurt Californias economy, environment and people, the Democrat said,

according to the San Diego Union-Tribune.

I introduced Senate Bill 30 to give our state a louder voice to say that building

a wasteful and unnecessary wall would be a huge mistake.

When it helps build the wall and manages to tick off California liberals, you know it

has to be good.

Please like and share on Facebook and twitter with your thoughts on the wall.

How quickly do you think the border wall can be completed?

GTA ONLINE CONTENT UPDATE 2017 - NEW GTA 5 DLC CARS, FREE MILLIONS FROM ROCKSTAR & UNLIMITED MONEY - Duration: 13:00.

what's up you guys and welcome to this

segment right here on your boy a sheriff

you guys we have so much as stuff to

discuss it's not even funny okay like I

got some stuff lined up here and finally

just to keep track of everything that's

happening but i'm going to give you

something like a word of advice in the

beginning there is no solo money glitch

when it comes to the Duke of death

please please get that out of your head

you're being played okay and you're

being played by some of the worst GTA 5

youtubers out there we're not talking

people back flick base we're talking

people that straight out just trick you

and they tell you the false information

I want to tell you guys something when

it comes to being on rockstars radar you

guys remember a while back I told you I

got a warning right here on this channel

rock star is so kind to the limit that

they didn't actually strike the channel

they sent a personal warning like I

couldn't have done it any easier and I

think they wanted us to keep the live

stream going so the warning was you know

be careful when you're selling the

allergies that sucks all they told me

they're like you know just be careful

you selling the allergy but it wasn't a

strike that's why we're able to stream

and we're not being disturbed whatsoever

but some of the gt5 youtubers will come

and tell you that rock star is watching

their channel and because we're watching

their channel there was a glitch on the

Duke of death and that glitch is active

and it's only active it seems like it's

only active for them now why did that

which was active or not you guys I want

to tell you one thing you know we have a

car salesman and he's got like a beater

in the parking lot or whatever arrested

rat rods maybe that's worth nothing and

then he comes tunes like but this is a

custom paint on it this car has a custom

paint on it you don't believe me it's a

classic you know I guys for five

thousand dollars you're like this thing

is not even worse $200 like it's a

custom paint man you know maybe you

don't understand the market but that's

what it is so this is what you guys do

right here because they have nothing to

sell there is no glitches happening

right now so let me give you best case

scenario k lets say by the way in the

background in the video you'll see some

stuff happening me trying to mix and

match some segments to coordinate with

our thoughts together so hopefully I can

mix and match every

together here the Alasdair what we call

the Duke of death the glitch does not

work it doesn't work for me I don't know

if it's going to work for you you let me

know in the comment section but even if

it does work for you and this car sells

for twelve thousand dollars you know how

much time you gotta sell this car in

order for you to make a million come on

now some of you guys had to be smart in

math let me let me hear it here you got

a solid 83 times boys you gotta sell it

83 finds in order to make a million

dollars now I'm sure you have something

better to do in your life not to mention

but if you don't have nothing better to

do in your life rockstar is got a daily

sell limit you're not going to be able

to keep selling all these look of that

so don't do it okay don't do it it's

going to be just a mess up it's going to

be sitting in your garage and for all

you know they come didnít the very next

day panic you and say warning warning

rockstar is tracking all these cars and

you are going to get banned or whatever

guys don't believe the hype keep its

doing down your share I'll always give

it to you the way it okay let's get into

something more exciting right now and

that is of course testing of the Duke of

death but before we get into the testing

you know what you guys I want to give a

big shout out to Bruce tango because

that dude is cool okay me and him we

talked on Twitter very briefly all right

but you can feel that he's a cool dude

like he's nodded to the drama what he

did is he did a different type of

testing while I did the speech testing

he did the shooting tests on these cars

and I'm here to tell you before we get

into this but as also the shooting test

is very impressive it's a little bit

expected but I would not have expected

this much so here's the deal the Duke of

debt can take multiple shots with RPG

we're talking to Koroma one shot if you

are sitting inside the Duke of death

while you see is doing the Titan have a

job to get the double play out double RP

we try to shoot some of the targets

around the car we had a hard time doing

it you have to be shooting from the

front window boom boom all right you

can't really shoot from the back or

anything like that even the size our

view was very controlled inside this car

that we can't do much

compared to the corona if you're sitting

in the back seat you have a 360 view on

anybody you have no restrictions if

you're in the passenger side or the

driver side then you're kind of

restrained a little bit but nowhere near

was a drink of death so you see it ups

and downs like every car doesn't have

its own attribute let's move on to

something else of course you have four

passenger to two passenger but then when

you go and try to shoot the Duke of

death with the missile that's on the

Buzzard you're looking for four missiles

to connect in order to destroy the

Koroma one missile and that baby is a

goner listen they both have their

attributes you can have to decide which

one you like hell if it's free for you

chances are you're going to have it in

your garage just like all of us we have

it right now so enjoy the game for what

it is they definitely offers so much

right now especially with a double pay

up double RPM emission it's it's just

amazing you know what I mean remember

that the game I showed you it's still

sitting here since we talked the last

time it's still sitting on my dad I

haven't played it right to it's just

collecting dust it's probably going to

get back there I'm just going to get rid

of it and I'm not even have played GTA

is still cool okay now that we covered

all this the glitch fake you know that

the attributes of the car which one

shoots and by the way shoutout to grukk

tango gammon good youtuber loved what he

does doesn't really care about the money

puts in the time I would encourage you

to go and watch that video when it comes

to which car gives you the more armor

more protection in it I enjoyed watching

it was nice but now let's go to my

strengths all right I'll of testing

these cars I like taking these cars on

the track now I'm not sure if I'm going

to be able to fit all the videos that we

have into this segment right here

there's always somebody coming and

saying oh look the share of data

ten-minute segments in order to cash in

on the ad revenue boys and girls there

is no ad revenue okay so if the video

gets fucked the same minutes please stop

complaining and just enjoy my company

i'm i'm enjoying your company hell I'm

enjoying your company i'm looking at

your comment so enjoy my company and

come with me on this ride right here

we're going to take this car on the

track that we always do where do we take

it we take it on taking off we always do

it nan kont

this way there is no catching up

abilities and nobody can mess you up no

slip stream and it's you in the car now

we were talking about this when we were

playing NASCAR the other day and I said

I said this cars gonna probably be a

disaster it's a muscle car and its back

happy you're probably gonna have a hard

time with the scar I take that back I

think right okay you want to say rock

stars watching a channel bro you want to

say that okay roxy is like hell no you

share this car is coming out with some

killer handle okay and they gave it some

really really nice handling I took this

car time that you guys do hyperfuse

which is while one of the moderators on

the chat he took his Dominator and man

we took it out to the track now here is

the deal top of the line power Dominator

okay we know that we know the Dominator

can control the track like crazy when it

comes to speed but this car what it

lacks in top speed and we're talking

very little here it makes up for in

turning ability and agility in deterrent

you guys know the final turn in the

stretch of the airport is very tricky

there is dust on the ground and also we

know now that the cars kind of snap a

little bit more because of turning left

at extreme speed they did patch that a

little bit but it's still being reported

that it's there some was that some of

the cars do suffer from the left turn

more than the right so just keep that in

mind in this car man this car took it

like a beast I'm not stalking pedal to

the metal you can't take it wide open

but what it made up for it destroyed the

Dominator on the first run what happened

is hyperfuse couldn't control the

Dominator I think it spun out from him

in the first time and next thing you

know I got the win now we tried this

again we tried it again a second time

and the second time you can see that

he's the one who got to win and it shows

how powerful that Dominator is if you

have it if you have the right driver in

the car you can really push it to its

limit and I'm going to share that with

you then there's one final thing about

the Dominator I gotta tell you about

some when it comes to the racing we went

for three times okay the third time I

still got the win again and that's that

risk factor ok that's the risk factor

want to have a car that has completely

top speed and you can just gas it pedal

to the metal but it might spin out on

you in the corner store do you want a

car that's a little bit forgiving and it

has a still somewhat of the top speed

and it's also armor so I mean it's

personal preference and it's going to be

something that you're going to

experience in the game especially when

you take them on contracts we love

taking them on a NASCAR track guaranteed

we're going to be playing with the scar

on the NASCAR track it has amazing

handling it puts the blackfin to shame I

think because it has top speed a little

bit better than it so I think more

people will be going toward the do cadet

more than the black skin so you got the

Dominator and the black pin right now

just hand in hand now we wanted to take

something very big and go to the drag

track okay your boys got a track that's

fully made up for this type of racing

and that's pedal to the metal we just

wanted to see if the Dominator is going

to stick up to it or not now here's what

I found out the sticker dominated the

racing one the one was the skin is

faster than the street version okay we

had different cars on the track and we

took off and next thing you know I see

that the Dominator that was behind me

with the sticker catching up and passing

me as well music was starting in the

back of the grid and he managed to catch

me and pass me that's the time that i

took the Dominator of fierce that the

Duke of death didn't stand a chance when

it comes to just drag you know drag

track it doesn't stand a chance but it

was a little bit decent compared to the

street Dominator which which says a lot

now I'm going to tell you something

about the Duke of that by the way if you

do have the app I was telling you

earlier in the other video if you do

have the app that you have the ifruit on

it and you can send custom plates you

can send the custom plate to the Duke

and you can have your own custom plate

so keep that in mind it you don't have

to be stuck with the white one because

maybe it's ugly under on the solid black

or the matte black you can always change

that you just need the app and you'll be

good to go I haven't done it yet and

haven't had the time I've been running

around today trying to get everything

done and with all the announcements that

Rockstar put out with

you have so many discounts you always

key yourself to go to the social site

and check out how much that stuff is on

discount some of the armored cars are in

discount the CEO building is on discount

I'm buying it on my dog on my modded

character so just keep all that in mind

there is so much information to wrap

your head around it if you are active in

the game now we are doing Tyson as a job

and we wanted to see what type of money

we can walk away from I know some of

these missions depend on how much crew

members you have in there because you

get a loyalty for that and also the time

that you put in we put in the time

because we were taking as mathematic

together we wanted to take a sweets

mathematic in order to have it on this

video hopefully I can get it done but we

walked away with fully $1,000 at the end

and that's good money ok that's good

money I'm not complaining if you play a

little bit for a whole week doing all

the missions you should have nothing to

complain about all right you guys that

should wrap it up don't get fooled on a

glitch ok it's just people trying to

grow their channels which is completely

understandable i guess that's the way

you tube work but i'm here to always

tell you is it going to be real or is it

not real now you slide in the video mine

salt 40 some people like to put that

video out and not give you a little

gameplay of it whatsoever because it's

not real it's not real all right now see

you guys on the next segment enjoy the

day i'm not going to be able to live

stream with you guys tonight man a

little bit busy but maybe tomorrow we

can live stream and take the star and

the NASCAR track have fun with it if you

do have any comments or concerns do say

it down in the comments section I'll try

to type up the designs that we had in

taking off also I want to say a big big

shout-out to everybody that participated

with me you guys bring it man time and

time again you guys come into the taking

off track you bring it with the drag the

drag track you had a big show also up I

really appreciate it i guess that's what

I'm trying to say really appreciate it

because having good people to connect

with is really really hard especially on

YouTube all right peace out everybody

else I we don't say peace here we have P

sound everybody I see you on the next

segment

UW Master of Health Informatics & Health Information Management - Duration: 3:21.

[Kathleen] The reason why I entered the Master's HIHIM

program is, one to really learn at a macro level how hospitals operate using enterprise

wide health information systems.

[Hamed] You really need to have a pretty holistic

view of everything to make technology worthwhile, to make the systems work for patients, doctors,

and everyone in between.

[Kathleen] The curriculum is pretty all inclusive, I

would say we start off with some leadership courses, and then we learn about really great

tools for conflict and management resolution methods, so that we can start using that in

a real work environment.

And then we start to learn about health information systems, we get down into the real details

into health informatics.

Learning about the information governments, health informatics, health analytics and then

we learn, also about policies, ethics, privacy and information security as well.

[Hamed] They also bring great guest speakers.

We've had a lot of CIO's come and speak with us.

A lot of directors for various organizations, and a lot of times that's the most valuable

part of some of the courses.

[Gretchen] The second thing we do is we build capstone

projects in the community, so students begin figuring out what they want do, and we help

them find a project that'll suit their interests and their needs.

[Hamed] You do not really necessarily need an IT background,

you don't need a technology background, and you don't need a healthcare background, you

just need to have an interest in learning this, and a passion for, you know, improving

healthcare for patients.

[Kathleen] I've had classmates who are operations managers.

I have classmates who are information or IT application analysts, so they're really, their

work is really focused in IT, and then we have, even one of my classmates is going back

to medical school.

[Hamed] The professors are a great combination of

academic and professional.

Most of them bring with them years of experience in the industry, which is great.

[Kathleen] The diversity from the professor's is very

helpful because one of my goals, getting into the program is, right, learning about the

macro level of how hospitals operate.

Not just from health, from the health information or IT side, but how do we affect all the other

different departments.

I think that our classmate, our cohort has definitely created a network that we can share

our experiences.

We can grow together, we often share new positions that have opened up within our organization.

[Hamed] I know I have the opportunity to make decisions

that really impact the outcome of patients' lives.

[Gretchen] The demand is there, and we're in the midst

of really an evolution, and it's exciting.

It keeps us all energized.

Dr. Pillai: How My Teachings Differ From Other Teachers - Duration: 4:07.

I have, many times, asked myself how different I am from other teachers. Mine is

eclectic and also the one that I have

discovered in my own meditations. And

then I include every other, every

tradition possible, in order to enrich my

teaching. I'm not going to be a person who

is going to say that, "Well, there is no

Karma and you go in, a you do, you know,

you are the most important person. And

you can become the President of the

country. You can become the celebrity in

your area." No. I have difficulty with

that teaching because ,although it is

theoretically possible, there's karmic

limitations. So I'm very, very deep into

the teachings of Karma. And the first

thing is to remove one's Karma. And then

come back and then say, "Okay, my karma is

all gone. Then now, I can do whatever I want

to do. That I can become the President of

the United States. That is a possibility

at that time, not when your Karma is

not erased. So erasing or karma removal

is a very important thing that's, that's

very key to my teaching. Otherwise, to say

that everybody is going to be a millionaire,

and you know, it's not going to work.

Although i have millionaire program

called Millionaire Yoga. But all of

them have a component of Karma removal.

But i don't teach Karma removal simply

just in traditional way either. I just

say that, you know, I can incorporate

neuroscience and how you are stuck in

an old reality because you involved the

decision making process and then, the

frontal lobe plays a very important role

in locking you into a rational logic

reality,

logical reality along with other parts of

the neo-cortex. And then you

have to go into the midBrain and use the

midBrain, the Pineal Gland. And then I

also incorporate astrology too. See,

because I'm 100% clear

that the planets are the agents of your

Karma, you know. The Karma is being

delivered through the planets which. you

know, brings good or bad luck to you.

And then, how to handle those Karma --

the planets. And then there are also

Karma beyond the planets too. So, how to

handle that too. So, my approach is

including sciences, contemporizing the teachings

of Karma and and also, making sure that

you never lose the practical reality.

That's the reason why I put so much

emphasis on taking care of your material

life. That is very, very important. And if

you just fail on that ground, life is

going to be miserable. So, it is very

important that everybody should take

care of their material life, which is

your money. And the best way to do that is using the Shreem Brzee Mantra and

the Initiation is really the key.

Two fast ways to multiply by 9 (KristaKingMath) - Duration: 3:55.

Here are two ways to multiply 9 by any number 1-10.

The first way involves using your hands.

So, if you hold out your hands, palms up, in front of you, and then you number your

fingers 1-10 from left to right, so for example 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 on the first hand, and then

6 through 10 on the second hand, always left to right, then multiplying 9 by any of these

numbers 1-10 just involves bending down the finger you're trying to multiply by.

So for example, if we want to multiply 9 by 1, we would bend down this first finger here.

So we would bend this finger down, and then we would ask ourselves "How many fingers do

we have to the left and right of this bent finger?"

Well, we're going to have zero fingers over here, and we have nine fingers over here.

Right?

1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9.

So what we would say then, is that 9 times 1 is equal to 09 or just 9.

In the same way, if we bend down this second finger, because we want to multiply 9 by 2,

so 9 times 2, we bend down the second finger, now how many fingers do we have to the left

and right?

Well over here we just have the thumb, 1, and then to the right we have 1, 2, 3, 4,

5, 6, 7, 8, so 1 finger to the left, 8 fingers to the right, so we can say 9 times 2 is equal

to 18 or 18.

Let's look at a couple of fingers on the right hand too.

So let's say we want to multiply 9 by 7.

So we would bend down our 7th finger, and then we want to know, what's 9 times 7?

Well we count the fingers on the left, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 fingers on the left, and just

1, 2, 3, fingers on the right.

So we can say that 9 times 7 is 63.

Or if we want to do 9 times 9, we would bend down the 9th finger, and we can see that we

have 8 fingers on the left, and just 1 finger on the right, so we can say 9 times 9 is going

to be equal to 8 on the left, 1 on the right, 81 or 81.

If you don't want to use your hands, here's a technique that's a little more mathy.

So let's take an example and say that we want to multiply 9 by 6.

So in this method, what we do is we take the number that's not 9, so in this case 6, and

we subtract 1 from that.

So 6-1 is 5, and then 5 we know is going to be the first number of our answer.

Then from there we say "What do we have to add back to 5 to get to 9?"

So 5 plus what is equal to 9?

Well in this case, it's 4 because 5+4 is equal to 9, so 4 then is our second number, which

means 9 times 6 is 54.

Let's do another example.

How about this method with 9 times 3?

So we want to do 9 times 3.

We just subtract 1 from the 3 and we get 2.

2 then is our first number.

Then, what do we have to add back to 2 to get 9?

Well, 2 plus 7 is 9, so we put that 7 there, which means 7 is our second number.

So 9 times 3 is 27.

And those are two simple techniques for multiplying 9 by any number 1-10.
