Biurowiec Focus - metaliczny pomruk doskonałości | Architecture is a good idea - Duration: 16:57.

6 hectares, 4 blocks, 3000 people,

a garden, a square, an apiary...

this way one can describe a small town.

But one can also describe this way a single building.

This one. "Focus" office bulding in Warsaw.

Designing an edifice wich will have 62 000 square meters of overall space

is an enormous task.

How did Kuryłowicz & Associates Architecture Studio manage to do that,

when they designed it nearly 20 years ago?

Let's take a closer look!

Winner of prestigious titles, like Construction of the year, or best public building in Warsaw, Focus opened in 2001.

Four, independent, 12-storey office parts are standing on three levels of underground parking garage.

They are aligned around a glazed atrium, measuring 25 by 40 meters.

From the outside they form a gigantic cuboid.

The overall dimensions are impressive: 65 by 67 meters.

Height: nearly 50 meters.

When I was still studying, I talked about this building with its chief designer, and my professor,

Stefan Kuryłowicz.

And he pointed to the fact, that this building will be seen not only from the front, but also or even mainly, from its sides.

It is situated next to very busy "Łazienkowska" thoroughfare where people are on the move.

So they will be looking at the building rather from either side.

On the move, and outside rush hours this can be a fast, dynamic move.

So in order for the building to be characteristic and memorable, it should consist of large elements that one can see while on the move by bus or by car.

And so it was designed so that it appears a bit defferent on each side.

From the east, the wall is clad with stone, but there are two glazed oriels.

They create a contrast between the glass and the large, dark, stone-clad surface.

From the front there's a smooth glass surface, crowned with a large cornice projecting far out, and resembling

a fin or a wing.

In the centre, behind the glass plain a hole has been cut. It houses a winter garden.

From the west, the wall is generally flat, but there is one oriel, shaped like a kiosk, projecting far out of the building.

No matter whether we look from the park here, or we drive from the west or east,

there always is a large, characteristic element that we can see from afar, making this building memorable and distinguishable.

But when we approach the building, we start to see a variety of smaller details that decorate the building like an ornament.

Front, double-glazed facade ends above the ground floor,

revealing the entrance which resembles a bit a gate to a small town.

After entering the building we can appreciate the size of the atrium, and diligence with which everything here has been designed.

In any detail one can almost feel that the architects enjoyed designing the building, and filled it with their talent and... state-of-the-art technology.

The union of architecture and technology is emphasized everywhere.

The building is meant to resemble a supermodern machine.

And this is a key feature of the movement in conteporary architecture represented by this building - high-tech.

Precision, perfection, modernity - these are characteristics of a good high-tech building, achieved by uniting aesthetics and technology into one.

I think it was the use of state-of-the-art technology in architectural design and construction and its exposition in this building

created this feeling that when one enters this space, not knowing it was opened 16 years ago,

one can think that the grand opening was yesterday, or last week.

This space is so modern and filled with modern technology.

It is visible everywhere and emphasized in the architecture of this edifice.

The essence of this thaught about the building and its ornamentation on the edge of architecture and technology in my opinion are these stairs

standing on small rollers.

I think it is in this detail that you can see this diligence, joy or even love for designing and caring about the tiniest of details.

Because often in architecture, even in such grand buildings, the devil is in the detail.

There are so many of these details that students can come here and look for inspiration if they have any problem desiging their projects.

How to join different types of surfaces, different materials, how to attach various elements to each other.

Any architectural problem is solved here possibly in many ways in different places.

But if this building consisted of only high quality details, if it had everything designed perfectly,

but it lacked office space... it wouldn't have any sense.

The essence of this building, the reason it has been built are over 30 000 square meters of office space.

And in the case of many office buildings it is often so that the floor slabs are identical and repetitive.

One plan can be repeated dozens of times to create a large building, but one whose office space is boring or indifferent.

Here the architects worked hard not only to create a building that supports people in their everyday work tasks,

but also whose spaces are diversified.

And now let's take a tour around the building in search for this variety of office spaces, because in many places there are some accents,

things that make these spaces varied and interesting.

First stop - terrace on the 5th floor.

Probably only from this place you can fully admire the vastness of the atrium, how huge this space really is.

Far larger than just a hallway, more like a town square.

And architects who designed it related to the appearence of urban squares.

For example they analyzed the size and proportions of Old Town Market Square in Warsaw,

to make shure that this enormous space had the best spatial quality,

and affected the guests and employees like the perfect urban spaces from the past.

One of the key questions here - how high should the roof be?

If it was lower, it could appear to crush the space.

If it was higher, we would feel as on the bottom of a well.

This height, above the fifth floor seems to be perfect. We feel that we're inside, in an atrium,

while at the same time we perceive this space as a market square of office-town of Focus.

Here, on the fifth floor we can get a glimse of what is one of the most characteristic elements of the building's exterior.

and we perceive this space almost like an old market square where Focus is the small town.

Probably the first mega-window in Warsaw, let's have a look!

And here it is. The mega-window with a winter garden inside.

It is seemingly cut out of the building roughly half-way through the depth of the office space.

The rooms here are a bit narrow.

This place is a little inside and a little outside.

Because this is only the outer layer of the facade.

This is a single plane of glass, it is ventilated with spetial holes, so that the air can flow in and out freely.

This is the south face of the building so it can become really warm. Right now it's quite hot, because today is a very sunny day.

So this acts like a winter garden should. We catch the energy from the sun and store it here.

Thanks to the fact, that this space is cut out from the building and completely glazed both to the interior and exterior,

people who have their desks or conference rooms here can feel as if a small part of the park opposite has been transefered here.

This acts like an embassy of the park inside the building.

Something that acts as a park in the office-town of Focus.

This is a very warm space, so let's go to another, this time air-conditioned space.

Way up!

Right now we're in office space - seemingly very normal.

But also here the architects included some diversity. This is the east face, so the one with two glazed oriels.

I'm standing in one of them, so in a way I'm outside the building.

And I'm looking at its facade clad with black stone from the outside.

Maybe it's an architectural reference to "thinking outside the box"? I'm looking on the building's boxy solid from the outside.

What's most important for me in this view are the details that ore on this elevation.

When we look at the building from afar, we can barely notice them, as if they are just an ornamental lace on the building,

Only here, up close we can appreciate the scale of these large objects and their architectural, high-tech, technological quality.

The east face has two oriels, the west face - only one, but what an oriel this is!

A cuboid projecting close to three meters out of the elevation.

And what could be housed in a glazed room on the ninth floor, like this one?

It's simple - a chairwoman's office! One of the best corner-offices in Warsaw.

Here, on the seventh floor you can actually go out of the building.

Not only go out to fresh air, but there's a balcony with cantilever of around two meters attached to the north face.

It has partially glazed floor, fully glazed side parapets.

The view over the center of Warsaw is magnificent.

But what's interesting is not only what can be seen from the building, but also the views that the building itself offers.

Things that we possibly didn't think about or haven't noticed.

The back elevation is cracked, the upper stories create a small canyon.

Standing here I see the skyscrapers in the center, but there first I see this canyon, then the mega-window through which a see the trees in the park.

Here's this urban landscape, there's almost pastoral, park scene.

Also present are some high-tech details, for example these mountings.

You can say - it's pure technology, these things attach the glass to the wall.

But these are the things that make up the architectural expression of the building.

We finish our tour of Focus on the terrace on the eleventh floor.

Just under the great cornice, projecting far away from the facade.

Only here you can see how far, actually, and how large it is.

I don't envy the people who had to build it.

But it the size of the whole building that made this building a bit controversial.

Critics argued that it was too large, gargantuan. That it diminished, dominated its surroundings.

These surroundings from the west being small streets with one, two, or three-storey buildings.

The author of the building had an surprising rebuttal.

It isn't that Focus doesn't fit the surroundings. It's the sourroundings that don't fit Focus!

At first you can say, that this view may be a little bit over the top... maybe not a little bit.

But when you dig into this notion, you have to admit there's something in it.

The context of this building are not the small streets to the west, because it isn't situated on these streets.

It stands on Łazienkowska thoroughfare, almost a highway with 10 lanes.

This is the direct context to which the building had to be adapted in mass and scale.

When Focus was being finished there weren't many large buildings around.

But if large buildings are to be built, isn't the center of the city the perfect place for them?

This thoroughfare here lines the border of the center of Warsaw.

It was that Stefan Kuryłowicz, a visionary designed a building adapted to a context that was not yet here.

But as an experienced architect he knew, that this context was going to emerge.

And he was right!

A few years after completion of Focus new large office buildings together with a skyscraper were built to the east.

Together these buildings form a large scale gate or border between green park area and the urban core of the center.

Of course the architects felt the responsibility for each decision.

Both the Polish investor and architects knew that they're developing something that will change this area

and will affect the views from the sourroundings.

They approached the design process in an interesing way.

Of course the building wasn't designed by one architect but by whole team within Kuryłowicz Studio.

They also hired an external controller, an experienced, highly esteemed architect.

He controlled the design process to make sure that the building was being designed according to highest standards.

Everyone understood the significance of this project. They knew they couldn't let down the expectation.

And I think it is visible. Even here, on the eleventh floor, barely visible by just a handful of people are these posts.

They are crafted with passion and with joy.

Every thing from the general shape of the building to the tiniest of details is designed with heart

Perhaps it's the combination of meticulous care, joy of working on large scale project, sense of resposibility for the outcome,

resulted in this effort's success.

16 years since the building opened, almost 20 since the designing started,

it's still strikingly modern and can still set the standards in terms of diligence and technology.

When we enter this building we still can hear the metallic murmur of perfection and modernity.

5 Texts To Prevent A Man From Pulling Away - Duration: 9:58.

How many times have you met a seemingly great guy, only to have him pull away, or even vanish

from your life?

Sadly, most of us know that feeling all too well.

What if I told you then, that there are certain text messages you can send a guy to stop him

from pulling away?

Interested?

Stay tuned, because that's exactly what I've be covering here today.

Hey ladies, Amy North here, welcome to my channel!

For those of you who don't know me I'm a relationship coach from Vancouver, Canada.

You may also know me from my program, The Devotion System, which is a complete guide

on how to not only find love, but also how to lock down the man of your dreams and have

the relationship you want and deserve.

Whether this is your first time popping by my channel, or you're a regular viewer,

thanks for watching!

As I briefly mentioned, today I'm going to share with you four text messages that

you can send a man to prevent him from pulling away.

While this sounds like a hefty claim, believe me, these work!

But, before I get too far ahead of myself here I'd like to quickly ask that if you

enjoy this video, or find it at all helpful, then please take a quick second to subscribe

to my YouTube channel.

To do so, just click the red button below, and remember, it's your support that allows

me to keep coming out with new content for you.

Now that that's out of the way, let's get started.

The first type of message you can send your guy is what I like to call the "Escape"

Text.

But, contrary to it's name, this is the kind of text you WANT to send to a man to

stop him from escaping.

So, what is the "Escape" text?

Well for starters it's a fun, creative message that you send to your man.

But what is really great about it is that by using the simple but powerful words I'm

going to teach you, you will be able to give him something that no one else can: a brief

break or escape from reality.

Since Escape texts are designed to get your guy to think outside of the framework of everyday

life, these kind of messages not only let his mind wander to another, perhaps pleasanter

place, but they're also great conversation kickstarters.

So, if you're looking to be his breathe of fresh air, then the secret is to come up

with creative, intriguing questions to text him — the kind of messages that will give

him an opportunity to live in make-believe for a moment or two.

For instance, instead of sending him a plain ol' "tell me something" text to get

a conversation going, or asking him the same boring, routine questions, spice it up and

make your texts exciting.

A few good examples of Escape Text messages are:

"If you could have one superpower, what would it be?" or, "If you could live in

any era, which one would you choose?" or, "If you could go anywhere in the world right

now, where you choose to go?"

As you'll see, these text messages are short and to the point.

You don't need to dress them up because when you ask a question that's interesting

enough, it's compelling enough on it's on so you don't need to add all the bells

and whistles.

Just be sure to ask questions that will make him feel a spark of childlike wonder again.

The kind of questions that will set his soul on fire and make him think good thoughts.

Have fun with these texts and make them your own.

Remember though, while this is a great opportunity for you to learn something new about your

man, be prepared to answer whatever questions you ask him, too!

The Escape Text is a great way to keep him close and to make time for the two of you

to converse in your own little bubble for a few minutes.

Plus when you're the one giving him these mental vacations, he'll look forward to

hearing from you.

The next type of text message to prevent a man from pulling away is the "Wish you were

here..."

Text.

As you may conclude from the name, these are the kind of messages you can send a man to

tease him and create sexual tension.

The kind of messages that will make him want to drop what he is doing and get to wherever

it is that you are.

Now, that's not to say that he will or should actually drop his plans, but the point is

that these kind of text messages will evoke THAT MUCH emotion in him that he may for a

moment or two consider doing so...

Of course these texts can be as PG or R rated as you're comfortable with, but that said,

keep in mind that even though your man may not come right out and say it, every guy wants

sex.

So with that said, you may want to get a little bit frisky with these.

Now, you may be "thinking, but Amy, my guy isn't your typical man's man.

Sex isn't the most important thing to him" and while that's totally fine, it doesn't

mean he doesn't want sex as well… it just means he's more reserved saying so or admitting

it to you.

That's why "Wish you were here" texts are such a smooth way to peak his interest

and attraction to you, which in the long run, will do wonders for keeping him close and

committed to you.

So, what exactly is an "Wish you were here" text?"

Well, simply put, it's a descriptive text for you to tell your man what you'd do to

him if he was there with you.

Of course these can be pretty fantastical, meaning, you can say things that you wouldn't

ACTUALLY do, but by painting him a picture for him to think about you'll not only turn

him on, but you'll begin to associate your text messages with feel good, romantic feelings.

When that happens he'll look forward to hearing from you.

Examples of "If you were here" texts are:

"If you were here I would slowly push myself against you and kiss your lips so softly."

A more R-rated one of these texts would be something along the lines of:

"If you were here right now I would climb on top of you, unbutton your shirt and trace

my fingertips down your chest to your…"

You don't even have to add in the more provocative words.

Implying it alone is enough to make him ooze with anticipation.

Just remember, making your texts descriptive is key because men respond best to messages

that make them literally feel or imagine something in vivid detail!

Some good descriptive words to use are: feel, touch, grope, graze, shiver, tingle, taste,

lick, crave and so on.

If you're interested in learning more powerful phrases to make your man wild with desire

for you then visit my site and watch the free video presentation.

The URL is www.coachnorth.com/texting, and to make it easy for you I'll be sure to

post it in the descriptive below.

Now, the third kind of text you can send a man to stop him from pulling away is the basic

flirting type of message.

But instead of stopping there, let's spice it up a bit and call this one the Seductive

Stanza, because yes, like poetry, these kind of messages should pull on his heart strings

and stir up emotion in him.

By subtly seducing your man with text messages you'll have him hooked.

Best of all, doing so is SO much easier than it seems, just be sure to be creative, playful,

and use your imagination.

An example of a Seductive Stanza could be anything from, "Guess what I'm wearing

right now?" to "The things I'm going to do to you when you come over tonight…"

Just remember to wait for a response before messaging him again.

The last thing you want to do is scare the poor guy away!

The fourth kind of message you can send a man to prevent him from pulling away is a

"Ego Stroker" text.

As the name implies, that's exactly what you're going to want to do in this kind

of message.

There's no denying that relationships can start to get stale after a while, what's

worse though is when complacency sneaks in.

When this happens it's easy to let things slip between you and your man, and before

you know it he's pulling away or feeling unappreciated.

So then, by being the woman who makes your man feel good about himself and the things

he accomplishes, he'll want to keep you around.

I mean, why wouldn't he, YOU make him feel good.

Not to mention, as the old saying goes, "if you don't, someone else will..."

To make sure that he feels like number one in your book, text him Ego Stroker messages

that shine on his intelligence, physical appearance, sexual performance, attitude, how he treats

you, the works!

Just be careful not to over do it or your words will start to lose their magic.

Also be sure to only say things that are true.

For instance, if he's terrible at going down on you then you don't want to stroke

his ego by saying he's great at it.

Instead, pick something else that you truly believe he excels at and make it the focus

of your text.

Just be honest and speak from the heart.

A few examples of an Ego Stroker text would be something like, "I love your arms and

how strong they are.

When you wrap them around me I feel like nothing in the world could harm me."

Or "You're such an amazing kisser.

The way your lips feel pressed against mine is electrifying," Or "Your mind is my

favourite mind.

The way you think and how creative you are… it's inspiring."

Again, make these your own and you'll have him tied around your finger.

The fifth and final type of text I want to share with you today is the "Go Your Own

Way" text.

What this kind of message is designed to do is to show your guy that as much as you love

having him in your life, you still have your own agenda and other priorities, that you're

busy living your own fun, filled life.

So, even if you have nothing going on when your guy texts you, you may want to fib a

little bit and tell him that you're doing something other than sitting around.

Now, I'm not condoning lying here, so if you are genuinely keeping busy, that's even

better because your story will seem more real.

That said, if you are having a quiet night in, catching up on all your favourite television

shows, you might want to spice up the message you send him by saying that you're doing

something else, something more creative or mentally stimulating.

This message works wonders for preventing your man from pulling away, especially when

it comes to situations where he asks you to hangout with little notice.

Since the key to keeping him intrigued is to make him work for your time and attention,

by not being too available or ready to go anytime he comes calling, requiring a few

days notice when it comes to making plans is a powerful move.

So, to give you an example of this kind of text message, let's say that you're just

getting home from a long day at the office and your guy texts you asking if you want

to grab dinner in half an hour.

Instead of saying "Sure!" or "I'm just going to have a lazy night in," instead

spice it up with something like "Hey, I would love to join you for dinner tonight

but unfortunately I already have dinner plans with some friends.

I'm free Friday though if you want to raincheck?"

Again, make this your own.

If you don't want to tell him that you're going out then say that you're busy working

on a project, or that you're having someone over.

Whatever you tell him, just make sure it's not too fabricated or unbelievable.

The message you're sending is that you're "going your own way" tonight, so you'll

have to catch up with him soon.

It can be hard to turn him down, especially if you're really wanting to see him, but

remember, nothing good comes easy.

Well, that just about does it for this video, as always thanks so much for watching.

Hi this is Peter Stanley, welcome to my channel

started out with a Cinnamon Basil

and Sage plant

both using the Kratky method

a Tiny Tim tomato

and

now, they, this is how they look now

this is the Cinnamon Basil and Tiny Tim

and the Sage plant

they are growing very well

this is video of the Tiny Tim

it's got a lot of fruits on it

it's getting unwieldy

I've had to lean it against the window for support

they're all getting fed

Dyna-gro 7-9-5

and all of these are getting

just western facing window sunlight

this is the Cinnamon Basil

I've cut off of this several times already pruned

the top and the sides

it's growing really well

using it a lot in salads, I need to

add

I need to move it to a larger container soon

as you can see the roots are

filling up and

it's drinking two thirds of that container every two to three days

this is the Sage plant, it

a few weeks ago it ran dry and lost a lot of leaves

it's making a comeback, there are a few leaves still look kinda burnt

but overall I think it's doing really well

also have some plants in an AeroGarden

and I have another Tiny Tim tomato

and I've had to prune it back some

it's got several fruits on it as well

it looks like it may have a little bit of fert burn on some of the leaves

but I think it's okay

this is the Lime Basil

it's flowering a little

this is a Dwarf Mexican Piquin

pepper plant

and it is

it's growing like crazy

it's exploding with flowers and

and fruits, I've actually

pruned it back a few times as well

there is a...

fruit that is...

is almost ripe

and a few others behind it

well I wanted to share that with you

I hope you liked that

How to stay in USA for free - couchsurfing | Ako bývať v Amerike zadarmo 4K 2017 - Duration: 9:35.

we gonna tell you something about COUCHSURFING

and about our experience from USA

how we travel throught three cities

couchsurfing is like philosophy of sharing

it's great project

that someone realize this kind of idea

and that so many helpful people are living on our planet

willing to accept stranger in their house to accommodate

and show their world

if you want to travel low budget

anywhere in the world

especialy in expensive countries like USA

you can use couchsurfing

you need to register on www.couchsurfing.com

you fill out your profile

you'll find a country you wanna visit

and you search for a host that are willing to accept you

and than you'll write him/her request to stay with

but it isn't so easy

but hosts are not going to accept you just like that

saying Hi I'm Katka can I sleep in your place? Thanks :D

NO

you must read profile of your potential host

find some common characteristics and share the same interests

and it's like a KARMA

OK I'll accept a stranger in my place and someone othter will help me find place to sleep in world

you'll find friends all around the world

you'll teach new stuff from eachother

that you'll see their world

So here is our experience in USA

We started in Washington D.C.

we were there for 2 nights

we lived with Jay

Jay is amazing person

he is an ophthalmologist

his flat is in centre od D.C.

very close to metro/subway

and I'm still astonished from his kindness

I still thinking that we people from Slovakia

are scared, we fear another people

we don't want to show them our life, our privacy

but couchsurfers will show you their whole world

and they'll accept you

they give you keys from flat

so when we came back earlier

and Jay wasn't home we simply just enter

this building is a place where we try out for the first time couchsurfing

welocme in Washington D.C.

we return here because we forgot to take metrocards

this is bed that we sleep on

Jay is very kind and helpful person

He's a great host and I'm looking forward to show him Prague

mostly the host provide for you a couch or extra bed

but Jay gives us his bed

I'm still surprised and shocked about that

he gives us towels

we can use whole apartment

he also give us food, beer, snacks

He even take us out for a dinner

but we pay for food

he don't want it from us but it was our way to say thanks for your hospitality

and we order this "healthy" pizza

we are all full

little bit surfeit

it was a great pizza

this is how we live in D.C.

there is a pool on rooftop

yoga lesson for free

gym for free

and a garden with park

it's really nice in here in centre

and every first friday of month

the building serves free breakfast

sweets, croisants and fruits

I want his neighbour :D

every are scented candle and the smell is awesome

so that was D.C.

than we we're in Boston

that was really funny experience

because we met our host just for 2 minutes on street

give us keys and went to party

so we enter the house

Jamaica plain 198

Hi from second couch from Boston

we're in classic american wodden style house

like from Fairy Tales - The 3 Little Pigs

we randomly met our host outside his building

and he just keys and contact on his roomie

and went to party that we'll see eachother in morning

he's living with 4 roomates

so one of them show us around

and we're here just sitting laid back

going to use Playstation or help with emptying bottles behind me :D

Creme de Banana

sightseeing time

bathroom all what you need

classic kitchen

room 1, room 2

our room in livingroom

TV, playstation 3 some games and movies

we should watch Hangover 3 or play Golden eyeeee

or we should go to sleep

Thanks for a lovely day in Boston

to Veronica and Bob it was awesome :-*

we wento to sleep and in morning wake up

we don't met Asad anymore but we write him a letter

thanks for everything

leave him some snacks and beer

and left the house

Person living in Boston

in house

with few other roomates

has left us crush in his place when he wasn't home

and we barely see eachother

Would you do that for some random stranger?

And the last couch was the best experience

we stayed with Bill

he lives in Brooklyn NYC

we lived there for whole week

he have one roomate Manon

she is from Netherlands - Amsterdam

she love to sing

we understand in this she want to be a singer

trying to achieve something

is the key!

You can't give up you must keep trying until you reach your goal

we slept in living room on spreading couch

New York is the city that never sleeps

It's true people go to bed after 1-2 a.m.

and it was quite a shock for us

because we want to wake up early to see as much as possible

first days we wake up early

but then we get so tired that we sleep until 11 a.m.

it was worth it because the people showed us other site of NYC

they took us to jazz club

to party

i feel like in Jamaica

Jamaica find us again

in NYC

it's instant love for the rest of our life

Bill took us also to bbq party

there was lots of people mostly friends of Bill

I find new friend from China and India

Bill invited us on bbq party in centre of Brooklyn

on 99 Scott ave.

we were in Japan one year ago

whitch is the best?

Tokio and Kyoto

Cheers

Jamaican beer Red Stripe

in Brooklyn

tremendous flavour

this dude have funny moustache

you must see that

moustache like a d'Artagnan

so cute

The closer my departure from New York gets

the more i love this city

I must say that couchsurfing is amazing

because it's not about staying in hotel room

and go for a walk like a regular tourist

but you'll get to know the locals

cultural exchange

I'm going 100% couchsurfing after this

Bill is a wonderful person he host people from all around world all year

organize meetings and hangouts

very pleasant experience

and I recommend it to everybody

this is a big THANK YOU to all our couchsurfers

Bill, Asad and Jay :)

First I was afraid of couhsurfing

but it's superb positive experience

It's not only about saving money for hotels

It's about to see and get a real touch of the city

It's about making new friends from all the world

learn something new from them

it was the most cultural rewarding experience in my life

and from now I'm starting to host other fellow traveler's

because doing good and positive things makes me richer and hapier

What I really love about this is a fact that we have an opportunity to see normal life of locals from all over world

and I must say that these three guys have heart on the right spot

and they thinking is different like ours

and I admire it so much

I also want to be a greater person

and help others

don't think only myself

and throw away all prejudice and fear

If mankind think like Bill, Asad or Jay

the world would be a better place for living

bye-bye

Thanks a lot and GOOD VISION!

It has never happened to go

I do not know in an exhibition

Or a firm-modeling exposure

And to see in front of you

A plastic, a diorama

Made in digital

Where more than one train is present at the same time.

As we know

The peculiarity of digital

Is to allow control

Of each single convoy

Independently of each other

This is through a digital protocol

Which is transmitted through the rails

Up to the Decoder, who deals with it.

This type of power supply and / or control

Presents a small problem

In the "analog" wagons

Which simply draw current from the track

And being analogous

As they are not equipped with Decoders

They then have a semi-wave rectifier

Since the digital signal can be

Very coarse

Compared to a sinusoid, like the alternating current

These wagons will have a diode bridge

To make the current similar to a continuous signal

And then they will have their internal lighting

Powered by this diode bridge

This type of power supply has a major disadvantage:

The digital

Provides that rails are permanently powered

Unlike the old plastic made in analogue

Where the track sections were disconnected

Otherwise the "parked" locomotives would continue to move

As they could not be controlled individually

Here, look

Maybe in a somewhat hidden area,

Hidden to the public,

Where scenery is not realized

But is still visible to viewers

See 4 or 5 convoys

All illuminated

If the first time you see it

The impression is "WOW that handsome are all enlightened!"

At a realistic level

This perennial illumination loses realism

As well as in a hypothetical deposit

Find all lighted wagons

Is almost impossible

Okay, let's say that on 5 convoys

2 are illuminated for internal cleaning

Perfect, no one has anything to complain about

But to see them illuminated all 5

It's a bad thing

This also presents a big problem

Energy consumption:

Assuming they are all lit up

And assuming that the consumption of each led goes around the 10/20 MA

A consumption per single irresistible element

We multiply this consumption for all the led present in 10/15 carriages!

Formed plastics, perhaps from a single track

From a diorama where only one track exists

Maybe about 2 meters

On a single track, where however long time has been spent

To realize the whole setting, so with a very nice visual impact

Then maybe this track that makes a bend

And ends in a small deposit on the back

From which to choose which train to pass

Have all the lighted carriages

Means that even if the train the viewer will see is only 1

Or 2 depending on the tracks present

You will have the same fuel consumption as 5 convoys

And this consumption becomes important when the transformer is only 1.

This happens predominantly under the 2-rack feed

Because, precisely because it is 2 rails

Each carriage will have its own outlet

In 3-track systems

Being the socket on the shoe

Put a shoe for each carriage

In addition to significantly increasing friction

And therefore the force required for the locomotive to tow the convoy

It would cause a sudden consumption of the drill bits

And a consumption of all mounted shoes

Then finally, through the current conductor hooks

This thing is avoided and one convoy is used

But the point is the same

If this shoe is connected

To the pipeline that passes through the train

Until that shoe will take over

All carriages will be lit.

The goal I'm aiming today

Is to equip, our mythical pilot carriage

She always lacks...

Of an object as small as it is very interesting

this small normally open relay (N O)

Will be positioned in the rear area

In the carriage bathroom

And on the one hand will have a direct connection to the skate

This connection is where the relay's mobile contact is present

On the other side will be connected to the current wire hook

Being normally open, though

This relay when not excited

It will not pass current

So I can hook up to this pilot car

Every type of wagon

Without having any problems

Even more if this carriage is to be pulled

By a locomotive of maneuver

Equipped with first or second generation telex digital hooks

Which, when connected with a current-wiring harness

Would have caused a short-circuit as they were put to ground

That will not happen

As normally that hook

Even though it is a current-hook

Will not be powered

This relay at this point will then be connected to the Decoder

Through the AUX 2

This will allow me to control it through digital

So if I wanted to

Station this convoy equipped with this carriage

In a waiting bin

I can use two buttons to disable the interior lighting of the wagon

And maybe switch on the cabin

That you saw in the last video (link in description)

A little touch of added realism

Suppose the drivers are talking

The rest of the wagon is off because the passengers are not present

And it would not make sense that other 3/4 carriages are lit.

TAC, button control, relay de-energizes

And the link opens

Thus allowing the whole convoy to go off

I'll tell you more

This carriage

Has been thought, or rather in my head is thought

In a configuration that also includes,

Behind the locomotive,

A boot

Why a luggage?

Because in certain circumstances it is used

But mainly

Will perform the same function

As it is a luggage compartment

And having the interior occupying less space

It will be even easier

Mount the twin of this relay

To feed or not the 2 hooks

And I will tell you more

Do this kind of job

Using the inner duct

Will allow, as the relay is connected to the skate

Once the relay is energized and then the circuit will close

The 2 skins will be in connection

So by chance at some point

The luggage shoe

Will be spot where for dirt

He can not catch the current

In reality the current will come from the driver's shoe

And being crazy units

And since the cutting of the tracks to see if it is engaged or not is done through the mass

I will have no problem connecting the shoes

As the wheels will close the cutting circuit, the two things will not interfere,

To indicate if the track is busy or not

I talked enough as an introduction

Now let's see the work to do

The first thing we're going to do

It is therefore to be removed from the hook door to NEM standards

The previous hook

And see how it will be positioned

The new current conductor hook;

Since it will work on a Märklin system

I opted for an original Märklin hook (but any standard conductor hook NOT OK)

To avoid problems with other rollers

Who will have this hook

It was a mistake

As inexperienced

Mount the additions in this back

It is true that the aesthetic effect is far more beautiful

But they will not be seen as covered by the carriages

And also undermine the proper functioning of the displacement kinematism

So I must at least eliminate the tubes

That would be the brakes and electric air pipes

And hook, hook reproduction

Currently present above the NEM eyelet

We ran the thread

In the hollow above the carriage

Which will slip through the hole

Where the lighting wires initially passed

Using the present guide, then we'll hit it in the back

And thus doing cinematic will have no problems

Not even the trolley

The wire will be welded directly to the hook

To get the best contact possible

The green wire was welded directly to the back of the hook, as can be seen

Sliding the wire into the channel

Then it will be fixed so that it is not so visible

And here we will position the relay

The green wire has been connected to the bottom pin

While the red thread just above, which runs the carriage long

Is directly attached to the skate

At that point of union

There is a link to the logic board

While the thread that comes down is the link to the skate

The upper red wire is connected to + on the LED board

As I said in the other video

It's as if it was a lengthy COMMON

And the green wire will be connected

To the purple wire of the AUX 2

To connect this 12-volt relay

We will use two resistors of 470 ohm in parallel

As depending on the route where this carriage will travel

We would need a different resistance

There is no standard for tensions in railway modeling

In my system will travel around the 16 volt

Then 400 ohms would be needed

On a 14v system would suffice 200ohm

Putting two 470 resistances in parallel

We will have about 250 ohm resistance

With a dissipation power of about 0.5 watts

Therefore it should allow the carriage to adapt to each system

At this time we are doing a test of operation

Both the interior lights and the light in the cabin are lit.

The relay made its typical sound

So it is turned off, so it is activated

To verify that there is actually current

We tried, through this metal tweezers,

To short circuit the system

As you have heard

The relay has been deactivated for a short time

As it detects the short circuit

The Mobile Station temporarily interrupts current at the plant

Just remove the shortcut

The Mobile Station will reset the system

Since the short-circuit lasted a few milliseconds

And the system returns to work properly

At this point the last work I have to do

It is better to fix resistances

As one of the two wires is too long

And now you can see that it is very bad

We will arrange it around in this position

Shortening the green wire

This is because we have electronic components on the right

We will avoid contact

With the upper plant

At this moment I'm also holding the cabin light on

To verify that the resistance does not get too hot

But touching it with a finger, and after more than a minute of operation, is not heating

So we are in a proper security situation

At this point, I fix the wire and pass the carriage closure

Here we are at the final test

Cabin light

Which allows to emphasize the interior

It might be a strong crumb

But not so much, being a light to be used during parking

Normal internal lights

These already present in the factory

We simply put in the interior cabin light

And then, how can you feel

Relay for conducting the hook

The relay is normally open

So there will be no short-circuit problems

Unless we go voluntarily

To enable this feature

Jobs on this carriage are finally over

I am very pleased with it

And I hope that this small series of jobs will be liked

I thank you

And we'll see you at the next videos of modeling!
