Youtube daily report Jun 9 2017

Audi A5 Moose test

Of the cars that we have reviewed, the A5 Coupe has been one the most successful on the Moose Test.

The maximum entrance speed that we managed to carry was 82 km/h, which is a very good result.

Whereas other cars, such as the Mercedes-Benz C Class Coupe,

are trickier to control and get used to on these conditions,

this Audi gave the driver a big sense of control and confidencefrom the beginning. The car reacted on a remarkably progressive way.

However, the tyres lost their initial effectiveness quicker than usual, so the entrance speed that we managed to carry got lower each time.

For this reason, the attempts that we show on the footage were done at the beginning of the session.

The driving mode that we were using at that time was Confort mode.

When we switched to Dynamic mode, the car reacted on a slightly rougher and unpredictable way,

but since the tyres were already a bit worn by that time, we did not find the results as meaningful.

Slalom

When driven through the slalom,

the A5 Coupe felt very agile because it could cope with the fast direction changes very well.

The effectiveness was similar when using any of the driving modes and the body roll was always small.

Hughes & Kettner interview with era 1 designer Michael Eisenmann (German/English subtitles) - Duration: 9:49.

A cozy chat with Michael Eisenmann

How did you end up becoming an acoustic amp designer?

That goes way back.

I developed quite the passion for audio tech in school

and opted to study electrical engineering.

Towards the end of my studies, in about 1985,

I decided I'd rather freelance.

So I started developing analog speaker controllers,

small speaker systems, and worked as an O.E.M. (Original Equipment Manufacturer).

That's how I met Udo Rösner, an acoustic guitarist

who had just taken over a guitar store in Recklinghausen, Germany.

The idea for an acoustic amp was born

of this acquaintance and over many beers.

That's when we set down the terms of trade.

It had to be small, dynamic, great-sounding,

easy to use, but with a streamlined look.

My fascination with this concept grew,

and that acoustic amp became my top priority.

The whole thing about real-time A/B comparison,

musicians hearing themselves over the amp, the original and the replica,

authentic sound reinforcement – it all culminated in the Akusticube.

We unveiled this amp at the 1991 Musikmesse with Lakewood Guitars.

I then founded AER with Udo Rösner and Susanne Janz,

who also worked at the Recklinghausen guitar store.

Exciting questions kept coming up over the years:

how does this kind of musical instrument actually work?

How does hearing work?

And above all, how do I, as an electrical engineer, measure what I'm hearing?

My experience and the things I do today are built on working directly

with musicians and branches of science such as electroacoustics

musical acoustics and psychoacoustics.

For me, it's become a sort of transmission line from the musician

and instrument into the pickup system, amp and speaker,

and back out into the room and into people's ears and perception.

How did the collaboration with Hughes & Kettner come about?

It's one of those stories that life tells.

I left AER for personal reasons in 2011 and started

looking for new partners who might be interested in my passion for acoustic amplifiers.

A friend in the industry put me in touch with Stefan Fischer from Hughes & Kettner.

We tossed the idea back

and forth from around 2013 to 2015,

and at some point he was hooked.

We got together in spring of 2015 in St. Wendel.

That's where I met the R&D people and the CEO and founder, Lothar Stamer.

The chemistry was right, so we dived right in!

This company's my partner of choice because of its great reputation,

skills in cutting - edge audio engineering –

which is one component of an acoustic amp –

its vertical integration, background in acoustics,

and the German location, which I found to be very promising.

Designing an acoustic amp with a

rock 'n' roll company was also a very exciting challenge

communicating with the various departments,

familiarizing people with a very different market,

bringing digital signal processing to the

more conservative acoustic player's analog world.

Now!

What's so special about era 1?

For one, it's the result of great teamwork.

A lot of trust was placed in me right from the start.

The collaboration was always results-driven and solution-focused at all levels.

Technically speaking, it's an extremely versatile tool for amplifying acoustic instruments,

even for complicated ones like the violin

and perhaps even traditional Asian instruments, which is a big market.

It comes very close to the original and takes the whole concept of being

small, loud, easy to use and very dynamic to a whole new level

and it's made in Germany.

What were your and Hughes & Kettner's priorities for era 1?

We built two independent channels that can conveniently

and authentically render two different signal sources.

One can be vocals; the other an instrument.

Hughes & Kettner already had similar high-quality digital signal processing capability,

so now we have diverse sound-shaping options –

for the overall system and not just the EQ at the user's disposal.

The ultra-efficient power amp delivers lots of dynamic range,

a fundamental prerequisite for a good-sounding amp.

Finally, we were able to use a closed speaker system

that doesn't produce the annoying noises associated with conventional bass reflex designs.

What musicians and instruments is era 1 designed for?

Musicians concentrate mainly on their instruments and expressing themselves musically.

They don't need an amp to perform unless the instrument

doesn't have enough power for the surroundings.

That's where era 1 comes in.

So it's for musicians who want to – or have to –

make their acoustic instruments sound as close to the original as possible.

Musicians who are willing to be inspired and motivated by the amp's response.

Singer-songwriters who'd love to have a convenient little sound system.

Acoustic players in bands

who want to hear themselves on stage and need that direct sound.

And also classical players who aren't big fans of acoustic amps,

but need the support of imperceptible sound reinforcement when the instrument is just not loud enough.

At the end of the day, all this is achieved with the cooperation of the musicians themselves.

Measuring technology notwithstanding,

it's the musician that has the final say.

Have fun with era 1!

BEST OF MALAYSIA AND SINGAPOUR | Alex & MJ - On the GO - Duration: 1:31.

I do not know if you remember but,

when we saw Singapore for the first time from our window in the plane,

you were pretty excited.

Yes! Because finally I was going to make you discover Asia

and make you taste the, oh so delicious, street food!

It's really special when you step on a new continent for the first time.

For me, Singapore and Malaysia represent the first time I put foot on

the Asian territory.

A continent that is rich in history and culture

and where wealth and poverty have been co-living together for decades.

And me well, even though I had been to Asia before,

I had never visited these two countries.

I discovered new things and rediscovered what I loved so much about it the first time.

Let's Play: Bendy and the Ink Machine | Chapter One Completed [300 Subscribers Special] - Duration: 22:12.

Welcome everybody to Bendy and the Ink Machine.

It was about time for me to start the BATIM gameplay.

Take a seat and enjoy :).

The game controls. I must learn how to play if want to play a game.

I'm with keyboard and mouse, so I must follow the controls below.

I have an objective. Okay, let's find this Ink Machine.

I wonder if I'm playing as Bendy or he will be my enemy. We shall find out.

Some people say it's a horror game. For a start it looks pretty sweet to be a horror game :D.

Who knows?

A film projector. But it's not even projecting a film LOL.

Hey is that me? Oh look at me. I'm so handsome.

No wait. I still don't know if i'm playing as Bendy or not.

Let it go.

Or not.

Or maybe yes :D.

Locked I guess.

Yeah so many time wasted for nothing. The board is empty I see :D.

Why the picture is smearing when I'm getting closer?

This is not good guys. I shall try to fix this in the next BATIM video.

Hmm there's a path over there. These boards are blocking it. If only i can find something to break them.

Yes, that's true. Dreams come true.

Every single door is locked in this place. How's that possible? I need a lock pick :D.

Nope. Nobody home.

Oh the Ink Machine. I found it.

I wonder too. Not to worry dude. We'll find out soon enough.

I swear this will be the thumbnail of the video :D.

So many ink spilled on the floor.

Maybe the pipes of that thing are broken,

Can someone tell me how to switch on the machine? Nah, I don't want help.

I must deal this myself to improve my gaming skills.

I fokin' love this guy. He's so adorable.

Wow wow wow. What the hell was that? A board fell off from the ceiling.

And I heard footsteps. Damn, someone is inside this building.

I have a bad feeling about this.

So this is the switch. If i want to switch it on, must find the components for it.

These pictures. These are the components I need.

So I need a wheel, wrench, book...

...ink bottle, um sound and a teddy bear.

I must remember them if want to find all of them.

What the hell? That wasn't here before.

I wonder too. Someone is playing with our minds.

Noo Joey, why :(? You committed suicide ;(. Noooo.

You were such a good friend. You will be missed :'(.

Or maybe someone did that to you. He'll pay whoever he is >:(.

Found the first item. This is some kind of a plate.

Oh that's the gear that I called wheel. 2nd item found.

A message call huh? Anything but not an item.

Oh cool. The 1st door that is openable :D. Unfortunately, there's nothing inside :D.

What? What was that? Sounded like some door has opened.

This door wasn't unlocked before. Miracles do happen in this game.

I turned on the radio and the music is not that bad.

There's the wrench. I saw it at the beginning of the game. It wasn't that hard finding it.

Found the 3rd item. Three remaining

I actually found teddy bendy :D. Cool. 4th item found.

Found the book. Hell yeah. 5th item found. Only 1 item remaining.

Or actually let it go.

The radio stopped :O. I don't remember turning it off.

This is way too strange.

I'm right. Only 1 component is missing. It should be here somewhere.

I must find this ink bottle.

Good. Got all of the components needed. Now my next objective is finding a switch for the machine.

It's not that switch. Should search for another one.

What the hell? Bendy's head popped up from the wall? I'm hallucinating.

Yes this is the statue which somehow rise up from the inanimate.

And now the film tape starts filming. This is so odd. This is so insane.

This is it. Everything should be done now :).

Can't turn it off.

I don't like the sound. I have the feeling that someone is watching me.

There. That should do the trick.

Everything is done I think.

No wait. I still have one last object here. I must go back to the Ink Machine.

What? The path is sealed? How?

Holy s**t. That's Bendy. Now I know that he's my enemy.

He's the demon. And the whole damn place got flooded by ink.

I think I must run or hide.

There was a path and now it's sealed. Damn.

This path here is sealed too. S**t, how am i supposed to escape. There's no way out.

Ouch the floor collapsed. But at least I'm save now.

Thank god I'm still alive from such falling.

The objective is the same. Still hasn't changed.

Alright, the only way out is through the door.

Hell yeah. Finally got a weapon to protect myself. I'm not that defenseless anymore.

Okay, I have a new objective now.

Why think so? He's not a liar. You are just an arrogant s**ts.

That's right. Cut those boards like a butcher :D.

A pentagram. So, a demon ritual was made here.

Ouch. After I saw these hallucinations, I passed out.

Aw I finished the first chapter. That's great.

The second chapter is also released, but unfortunately, if i want to play it, i must spend money to have it.

I love this game. A puzzle and a horror at the same time. It's just amazing.

I'm so hyped and I'll definitely continue playing it.

I must say big thank you to Jeremy /slendy's boy/ for requesting the game.

Without him I wouldn't know that there's such a game.

This cast is long as f**k :D.

Cool. I'm glad he will return.

How Can I Keep Up With Other Cyclists? | Ask GCN Anything Cycling - Duration: 10:25.

- Coming up on this week's Ask GCN Anything,

we are once again answering your cycling-related

questions including whether or not you should

use a base layer when it's hot outside,

whether the pros should have a different part of Strava,

and also whether the pros use Synchro Shift.

However, the first question we're going to answer

comes in from Indulonman, asking:

"Any tips for 60 kg a rider to keep up with riders

that are 20 kg+ heavier on the flat?

When they push really hard, I'm totally toasted

and get dropped. I am superior on the hills,

but unfortunately, there aren't many near me."

Well, the problem that you are

having, as you probably know, is that your good

power-to-weight ratio, which sees you flying

up the climbs, doesn't come into play so much

when you are on flat roads. There, the thing that

prevents you from going faster is mainly wind resistance

with a small amount of rolling resistance.

So the heavier riders who've got a higher

absolute power are able to go faster.

So the obvious thing then is to try to increase your

absolute power, which would also see you climbing faster

as well. However, that is very much easier said than done.

So instead, you should probably spend more time

looking at your technique, because the force distribution

through your pedal stroke on flat roads is quite different

to what you will see on the climb, so it is worth spending

a lot of time on flat roads practicing that.

Now it sounds like you've got plenty near you, that

shouldn't be a problem. The second thing to do is make

sure you are very comfortable in riding quite close to

the rider in front of you, in order to save as much

energy as possible, and also bear in mind where

the wind is coming from. So if it's coming from the

right hand side, for example, sit close to the rider

but also to the left of the rider in front of you

to maximise the benefits of slipstreaming.

Now this next video from Si and Matt goes into some

details about how to get faster on flat roads

so if you want some more tips, take a look at this.

- Cause wind resistance is the biggest force holding

you back, and the faster you go the greater its effect.

Now you could throw some money at it, as we all know

buying aero equipment can have a dramatic effect.

But you can also do it a bit cheaper too.

- Our next question comes in from Toby Jarvis on Twitter.

"#TorqueBack do the pros use Shimano Synchro Shift?

If so, or not: Why?" Well, to the best of my knowledge,

no the pros don't use Synchro Shift. That said,

it is quite a new invention really on the road,

something Shimano have brought over from their

top level mountain bike group set.

However, I think that even once they have tried it

and tested it, they're probably prefer to stay

with their normal gears which they shift manually.

And I'll give you an example and a reason behind this:

So if you're in a race like Amstel Gold,

which is littered full of short, steep climbs,

the pros will often try to leave it in the big

ring, and in fact cross-chain. So big ring on

the front, and quite a big cog on the cassette

at the back. Now this is not something we just

always recommended, but the reason that they

do that, is cause they don't want that very slight

pause over the top of the climb for changing from the

small ring up into the big ring.

Because if you are on your limit into the red

and you're only just about able to hold

the wheel in front of you, that very short pause

can allow the wheel to sail away just a few metres,

and you might never see that group again.

Now Si has had a look at the evolution of Di2

over the years, so if you don't know what

Synchro Shifting is he explains this

amongst other things in this next video.

- Then there's also a semi automatic shifting

function called Synchro Shift. So when you switch

it on, it effectively means that you don't have

to think about your front derailleur.

Your Di2 controls it for you, shifting

from your little ring to your big ring

and back again as it sees fit.

- Right. It is time for the rapid fire round

and we'll begin that with Guido Willem De Vries.

"How important is the top screw between your

cleat and your shoe? I lost mine about a week

ago and I can't feel any difference.

It is dangerous? And should I bother getting a

new set of cleats for just 1 screw?"

Uh, well, yes I would suggest that that screw is

reasonably important, even if you can get away

with one missing-as you have found out-for a few days.

But you might well get to the point where your shoe

ends up getting stuck in the pedal

which could be very dangerous indeed.

What you could try is heading to your local bike shop

to see if they've got any spares lying about

in terms of the screw that you need for you cleat.

What I would also suggest is that the next time

you renew your cleats, you throw away the plastic

parts of the old ones but you keep the bolts, etc

as spares in case this happens again.

The next one from Oconuco says:

"#AskGCN Do I really need a base layer on the

summer in Colorado? Which are the best

for the dry mountain climate of where I live?"

I will answer the first part of your question:

No you definitely don't have to use a base layer

when it's hot, and in fact I don't personally

use one when it's over about 25º, that's one

ride a year here in the UK. It does tend,

I think in my mind, to keep an extra bit of heat in

because it's an extra layer, and in terms of whether

the pros use base layers all the time or not,

I think this tweet coming up on the screen now

should answer your question. This is from the

American Chad Haga who said at the Dauphine

he did the whole Giro without using the base layer

or arm warmers, and today in France he needed both.

Where has summer gone. So no, he didn't use a base

layer for any of the 23 stages or 23 days of the

Giro Italia. James Moore has written on twitter:

"Hole in a side wall of a tyre, can it be saved

or should I bin it? The thought of binning a

€65 tyre has my wallet crying in the corner."

Oh well I'm very sorry to tell you James,

that in this instance you should probably

upset your wallet and invest in a new tyre.

There are a number of solutions to get you home

if you find a hole in the side wall, maybe an old

wrapper from a gel or an energy bar or maybe a bank note,

or even a patch for an inner tube if you've got one

with you. However, really it's just a get-home solution

and I wouldn't suggest riding on a tyre with a hole

in the side wall any further than that.

Eddy Tjhia says: "#TORQUEBACK how much is the average

pro-rider salary?" I have absolutely no idea

but I will take a guess. The very top end will be

sort of 3 to 4 million Euros, and we're talking about

the likes of Peter Sagan, etc. The very basic rate

as a neo pro, which is first year professional

for world tour riders is in the region of €46,000

to €47,000 these days. So I'd hazard a guess that

the average is probably €150,000 to

€200,000 for a current world tour pro.

Finally, Dan Sawyer wrote in and said:

"Tom Dumoulin wore Sunweb kit on road stages

of the Giro but Dutch National Champions kit for the

time trials. Is this because he's national time trial champ

but not road champ? Even within a Grand Tour, do

time trial champs wear national kit for those stages?

And if so, what happens in the team time trials?"

Well yes, he is the time trial champion of the Netherlands

for the time trial, but not on the road,

hence why he was only using it for the individual

time trial stages. On the hand, Bob Jungels of

Quick-Step is national champion in both disciplines

so he was using that national champion's kit throughout,

unless he was leading one of the general classifications

which he was for the white jersey.

For team time trials, I think the UCI ruling is that

you can't use your world champion's kit

even if you've won the world championships.

I would guess that applies to the national champions too.

The next question comes in on Twitter from Peter Hull:

"Is it okay to wear Lycra when cycle touring northern Italy

and the Dolomites on an electric bike?"

Well yes Peter, that is absolutely fine.

There's nothing wrong with wearing Lycra on an e-bike

and there are always going to be people who get upset

about something in cycling. That might be the fact

that you're on an e-bike in the first place,

other people get upset about the way things look.

Maybe using a pro team kit when you're out riding,

or black socks with white shoes,

or maybe even top tube bags etc. This is something

we've joked about on many videos in the past here

on GCN, but our basic ethos is that riding a bike is good.

Doesn't matter what the bike looks like,

it doesn't matter what you look like.

It's about getting out there, having fun,

exploring the roads that are near to you or far away,

being sociable and most importantly being healthy.

And incidentally, Si and Matt were out in the

Dolomites recently trying to answer the question,

"Are E-bikes fun?" So you might want to

take a look at this next video.

- Now, this bike doesn't pretend-by any stretch

of the imagination-to be a top-end road bike.

But could it be? We could just about find out.

- Alright, let's go there mate.

(upbeat electronic music)

- I can't get rid of him! He's like the Terminator.

- The last question this week comes

in on Facebook from Seth Tan CF:

"I have used 172.5 mm and 175 mm

cranks interchangeably. My saddle height is fixed

with my bike fit. Do I need to adjust the saddle

height accordingly?" Well, my initial reaction to this

would be yes, you should adjust your saddle height

accordingly. I would imagine that when you

had your bike fit done, your saddle height was

worked out when you had your foot at the bottom

of the pedal stroke. And when you go from 172.5 mm

cranks up to 175 mm, your foot is going to be 2.5 mm

lower at the bottom of the pedal stroke.

So my assumption would be that you need to put

your saddle down by 2.5 mm as well, even though

your foot at the top of the pedal stroke is

of course going to be 2.5 mm higher.

If I've got that completely wrong, feel free to let

me know in the comments section down below.

You may well find some advice from some of our

more experienced viewers. My other question

would be though, why are you interchanging

crank lengths so often? Maybe you should

decide on what one is best for you,

and to help you with that decision here is Si

talking about how to choose your crank length.

- You see, cranks are a fundamentally important

contact point on the bike. When we set our saddle

heights, it's generally based around a maximum

led extension. Meaning that all of us could roughly

get the right saddle height no matter what the crank length.

- Right well that is the end of this weeks' Ask GCN Anything

Don't forget that if you've got any questions

you would like to ask us, you can leave them in the

4 Spiritual Healing Techniques I Use To Help Treat My Depression - Duration: 5:18.

4 Spiritual Healing Techniques I Use To Help Treat My Depression

Being sad is not easy.

Being diagnosed as depressed is even worse.

When I first was diagnosed with depression in the Fall of 2011, I was just a 18-year-old

kid starting out her journey as a freshman in college.

I was in my dream university away from home with a partial scholarship and dreams as big

as anyone elses.

I had nothing to be depressed about but I fell into it.

After suffering from emotions of loneliness, anxiety, helplessness, and much seclusion,

I finally sought help.

It was only about 2 weeks into these feelings that I visited my schools mental health

office, but I had no idea of what I was getting into.

Once I received my diagnosis, I accepted the fact that I needed to start attending both

individual and group therapy sessions.

Having attended therapy for about 2 years, I knew that getting control of my mental health

was not the finish line.

I learned that depression was a lifelong battle and that just like an addiction, relapsing

was always a possibility.

Because of this, I adopted four spiritual healing techniques to assist me in both times

of need and my daily routine.

Amethyst Healing Gemstones

This is a fairly recent technique I have tried.

Having gone through a major surgery where three benign tumors were removed from my abdomen

this past January, the state of my physical health had a major strain on my mental health.

Two amethyst stones were given to me by my grandmother.

I began rubbing these two stones on each side of my head (respectfully) every time I felt

my anxiety kicking in at home for a few minutes.

Slowly but surely they helped ease the mental strain I was going through.

I also have an amethyst bracelet I wear.

Incense Sticks

Sometimes the most relaxing place to be is in our home.

Whether it be a long day of work, or just the general comfort of being in your home,

being inside the four walls that you call your own is the best place to be.

When you deal with mental health issues however, sometimes they can make you feel even more

alone.

That is why aromatherapy was a great therapy technique for me.

Whenever I feel like my emotions are getting to be too much and I am at home, I alternate

between burning incense sticks and lighting candles to ease my anxieties.

Meditation Books

As a precautionary measure, I enjoy reading meditation books and articles that help guide

me during my meditation practices.

While I have electronic media to help guide my meditation, I find that reading helps present

everything from a stronger perspective.

This is also a way to get mindfulness thinking in your day if you have the schedule that

allows you to read bits and pieces.

Mindful Eating

Eating three meals a day is both important and recommended, but how many times do we

eat one of these meals interrupted by the time constraints of the day, or events up

ahead?

After realizing, this I adopted a mindful eating diet.

I eat between 5 to 6 times a day and proportion out my meals to both healthy and equal amounts

each time.

This gives me both something to look forward to and be thankful for.

With a more balanced eating schedule, I am also able to appreciate each and every piece

of my meal and practice mindfulness while doing so, both through scanning my body and

examining my five senses while I eat my meal.

In addition, I drink natural and organic teas.

While these techniques have helped maintain a healthy battle with depression, they are

ultimately techniques that can be used by anyone to be in touch with both their spiritual

and

mental health.

Eng Subbed || I'm Sorry I Love You Kang Nam Koo Ep 120 FINALE - Duration: 36:26.

You'll be my hostage.

I'm sorry, but I just can't go to prison.

Do you think it's that unfair?

How can...

no one worry about me?

Shouldn't you at least care?

We've been together for over 20 years.

You're the one who left me. It wasn't the other way around.

I'm back now.

Fine. Where should we go then?

Somewhere from our past should be better.

What?

Go home.

You're only making yourself more miserable.

Let's go.

Scream at your own peril.

(Final Episode)

Why are you doing this?

You'll be caught soon anyway.

No, I won't. I'll fake my death and go into hiding.

Are you insane? Why are you doing this?

I'm fine, so let's start over again.

Take my hand like you did at the orphanage.

We'll go where no one knows us.

Then Jae Min won't recognize you. Are you okay with that?

That's why I need you. He'll sure recognize me then.

That way I can beg for his forgiveness in the afterlife.

If you do this,

things will get worse for Nam Koo and Mother.

There.

Now stop worrying about Nam Koo and care more about me.

I heard you were turning yourself into the police tomorrow.

Are you all right?

Of course.

Please take care of Nam Koo so that he doesn't feel guilty.

I don't know whether I should thank you or not.

I'm really sorry.

Once I'm arrested,

could you send Nam Koo over to our house?

Yes, of course.

I'll make sure that he never comes back here.

I didn't mean it like that.

I'm hoping he can stay a few nights a month.

I've learned my lesson.

Could you also keep cooking side dishes for us?

Of course. I'd love to.

Thank you so much.

I'll get going then.

Hold on.

Nam Koo, Nam Koo!

You should accompany her home.

It's best if you stay the night.

It's all right. If he does, it'll only make me want to stay.

Here.

Here. Take this.

Take Do Hoon out for a drink.

He's probably dying inside too.

Take it. I want to give my son an allowance.

Go on. Take it.

Has your hand fully recovered?

Yes, it's fine now.

I see.

Well, I'm off then.

It's Nam Koo.

Nam Koo, what's up?

Where are you? Let's go for a drink.

I'm afraid I'm a bit busy.

I kidnapped Mo Ah, and I'm with her now.

- What? - I'll drink with her instead.

I'm asking her to go back to the old days.

You prick. Where are you?

I'd be insane to tell you that.

You'll get caught.

That means additional charges.

I won't get caught, you idiot.

Once I fake my death and forge an ID,

no one will know who I am.

I'm going back to the old days.

Back when it was just me and Mo Ah.

Don't be ridiculous. Why are you doing this?

All I wanted was a better life.

Was that too much to ask?

Answer me.

Anyway, if it is, I'll let Mo Ah go...

and head for questioning tomorrow.

Otherwise, find a way out of this for me,

or I won't let Mo Ah go.

Nam Koo, what brings you by so late?

Is Mo Ah not home?

No, she isn't. Is something wrong?

Do Hoon went into hiding and took Mo Ah with him.

What?

Where could they be?

He talked nonsense about going back to the old days.

If that's the case, he could mean our old orphanage.

It's gone now,

but where we used to play is still there.

I'll go alone, so just tell me where.

Finally, I found you.

Nam Koo, how did you find us?

Hide all you want. I'll still manage to find you.

He fell asleep intoxicated from the alcohol.

Your kidnapper fell asleep?

Talk about being stupid.

Anyway, you should go.

No, I'd rather stay too.

You'll only be feeding his madness if you do.

I'll make sure to bring him with me. Don't worry and go.

Hang on. What happened to his hand?

He hurt himself.

Well, take care of Do Hoon for me.

Did you meet Nam Koo?

He's with Do Hoon right now.

What happened? Did Do Hoon kidnap you?

No, of course not.

- Mo Hyuk. - Yes?

How long of a sentence will the judge have Do Hoon serve?

I'm not sure, but 10 years if he's unlucky.

Take care of my husband and his brother in my absence.

Of course. Your husband will visit once he's discharged.

All right.

What's taking Do Hoon so long though?

Isn't Do Hoon here yet?

Do you think he fled? That's not good for anyone.

Do Hoon's probably with Nam Koo.

Nam Koo? Why?

I think he's trying to run.

And you tell me that now?

What are you going to do?

I'm going to have him arrested.

Why can't he make things easy for once?

Mr. Kidnapper, your phone's ringing.

(Mom)

- Hello? - Where are you?

I was about to call.

Nam Koo's here with me.

Are you insane? Why are you doing this?

This wouldn't have happened if you had helped me like I asked.

- What do you want me to do? - Will you help me?

- Fake my death for me. - Fine.

I'll fake your death and provide you with a new alias.

It's a lie. Don't fall for it.

You're lying. Did you think I'd fall for that?

Do Hoon.

I was so worried about you that I wasn't able to sleep last night.

- Are you crying? - Yes, I am.

I know I'm the only one who can help you.

I'm your mother.

My mom?

Who else but me could possibly help you?

Trust me when I say I'll help you.

Now, where are you?

All right, Mom. I'll text you the address right away.

She's going to help me. You heard her too.

I'm saved now. I'll be all right.

What are you doing?

She's going to help me.

She called me her son just now.

Wake up. I told you she's lying.

You should just turn yourself in.

No, I'm going to trust her.

She promised to help me, so I'm going to wait.

Yoon, report him to the police and have him arrested.

Sorry? Yes, of course.

Actually, I should go there myself.

Where on earth is she? She should be here by now.

I told you she was lying.

Now let's head to the police.

Stop with your negativity.

You should just go already.

Leave me alone.

Mr. Shin Do Hoon, we're taking you in for questioning.

No, I'm Kang Nam Koo.

He's Shin Do Hoon, so arrest him.

Let's go.

Let go. Let go of me!

This can't be happening. She wouldn't betray me.

Mom, please. You promised to help me.

I trusted you, so please do.

Just this once!

Let's receive our punishment.

I can't help you if you become a fugitive.

I said I'd do better.

I don't want to go to prison.

Stop it already.

Afterwards, I'll help you get back on your feet.

You're lying!

Nam Koo, that's a lie too, isn't it?

Stop this nonsense, you idiot!

Darn it!

Why isn't nothing going my way?

All right, fine. I'll go to the police then.

I'll tell them everything.

I'll tell them you sold Mo Ah to a hostess bar,

faked her death and had her divorce by proxy.

I'll testify to all of that.

You won't see your son for a long time then.

Unless you're behind bars, I mean.

I can't believe I ever thought to even help you out.

Thank you. Now you should go home.

Please look after Do Hoon.

- Stop! - Do Hoon, Do Hoon!

- Let go of the hostage. - Nam Koo, don't.

Come near me, and I'll kill her.

Please stay put, sir. He's dangerous.

Who will you save first if Mo Ah and I are both drowning?

You. What do you think you're doing?

- Stay away! - Do Hoon, stop.

- Get away from me. - Stop!

I told you to stop.

He has my mom hostage.

- She's my mom! - I told you to stay away.

Get away from me!

- Grab him. - Stop!

- Do Hoon? - Do Hoon, Do Hoon!

Do Hoon, are you all right?

I rescued you.

Yes, you did. Oh no...

Nam Koo, what do we do?

Someone call an ambulance!

I...

only wanted a normal life.

All I wanted was a normal life,

but why is that so hard?

You should stop talking. The ambulance will be here soon.

Nam Koo.

Can you help me get up?

I'm okay. I can stand.

- Are you all right? - Mom.

Thank you for giving us money...

to have drinks with. I'll use it well.

Nam Koo, see you.

Do Hoon, Do Hoon!

I'll go after him, so don't worry and head inside.

Myung Sook just arrived at the prosecutor's office.

Hui Joo,

you should've at least seen her off.

I was going to, but she told me not to.

Is Do Hoon here?

What are you talking about? Isn't he with the police?

Don't tell me he ran away.

He just disappeared.

Maybe he went to Taehwaroo.

Don't.

Let Tae Jin handle Do Hoon.

He's right. You should be with Mom instead.

The person you have reached is unavailable.

What do you mean Do Hoon disappeared?

Did he run away?

Don't worry. You know that he's a coward.

He'll come running back soon.

She's right. He might've changed a bit,

but he's never been brave.

Do Hoon.

Where's the order? I need to make the delivery.

Hold on. Where should I head first?

No, that can wait. Jae Min, your dad's home!

Do Hoon, please don't be like this.

Are you all right?

Do Hoon, get a grip on yourself.

I'm sorry. I won't do it again.

Let me make deliveries instead.

I won't be the CEO anymore, so let me work here again.

I'll deliver the orders!

Please. Let me make the delivery.

My gosh, Do Hoon.

Look at me and get a grip on yourself.

Do you recognize me?

No, I don't!

Why are you all staring at me?

Mo Ah, let's go already.

I have to make a run for it.

What's wrong with you?

Get your act together. Snap out of it!

Mo Ah.

Yes, it's me. Do you recognize me?

Do Hoon.

Mo Ah, tell him to leave. He's a scary man.

I'm not Min Joon, but he keeps saying that I am.

I'm Park Do Hoon, right?

It's all right. You can come to me.

Go away. Get away from me!

There.

Now I'm unrecognizable.

I'm neither Do Hoon nor Min Joon.

Sir, please can you give me a new name?

I'm sorry.

I'm to blame for everything.

You can go to prison then.

That's it. You can go instead of me.

I can't even though I want to.

Why not?

I knew it. You don't want to go either.

Why can't you just take my place?

I'm...

dying.

Isn't that punishment enough?

You're dying?

Why?

Why are you dying?

Considering how bad I've been, I should die instead.

You don't know how much I looked up to you.

I really did though.

So...

are you really going to die?

What took you so long?

Do you realize how scared I was?

Gosh.

What will you do when you win the lottery?

I'll kick you to the curb and meet someone better.

What about you?

I'll...

give everything you and Jae Min want.

We'll have a wedding at a fancy hotel,

have barbecue parties in a house with a garden,

and travel abroad in the summer.

Cry. Just cry.

That's it. Let it all out.

Sir, I have a request.

Go ahead.

Shin Do Hoon is innocent.

I'm the mastermind behind it all.

We'll have to verify that with Mr. Shin Do Hoon.

Evidence is piled up against him.

What's taking him so long though?

Tae Jin, where's Do Hoon? Isn't he with you?

He's at the hospital.

The hospital? Is his head injury severe?

It didn't seem that way.

He's the old Do Hoon now.

The kind man he used to be before he met us.

What do you mean?

(Correction Facility for the Better Man)

I'm here alone.

Nam Koo was quite busy today.

Yes, I see.

Thanks for taking the time to see me.

How is Do Hoon doing?

Your husband will be discharged next week.

That's great.

What about Tae Jin? I bet he's staying strong.

He wants to visit,

but his condition...

Of course.

You should get going. There's no need to come by often.

Please make sure you eat well.

Mo Ah.

I won't ask you for your forgiveness yet.

I'll apologize when I've done serving my time,

so don't forgive me before I do so.

Also, please...

look after Nam Koo for me.

I guess I'll always see her the same way.

Every time I meet her, I can't help but tense up.

Let's go. A walk will make you feel better.

(Taehwaroo)

(One Year Later)

You count money in such a pretty way.

I learned from you.

You always count it in a cunning way.

When did I ever do that?

All I do is count it carefully one by one.

How many times do I have to tell you not to do that.

You'll give birth to a daughter that way.

The doctor said you were having a boy.

None of it matters as long as the number adds up.

Are you kidding me?

- What's wrong? - Aunt!

You forgot to pack the pickled radish again.

Why do I have to make another delivery because of it?

This is unacceptable!

I'm sorry. I forgot.

Are you insane?

You'll scare her into labor yelling like that.

Honey!

Oh gosh.

Honey, I got off work early. How about a kiss?

Goodness.

You've got to be kidding me!

What an idiot.

Chun Soo, please. Where are your manners?

There's no need to make us all cringe.

She's right. It's like you've lost your sense of manhood.

Nam Hui, what's wrong?

- Are you sick? - What's wrong?

- Aunt, are you all right? - Nam Hui?

I'm craving for some galbi.

You heard her.

My rich daughter-in-law is hungry.

Let's close shop to go eat galbi!

What about the restaurant?

When's the last time we had any customers?

It's always been just us.

That's because they mostly order a delivery.

- You're absolutely right. - I know.

Goodness me.

Please take your free shampoo. Here you go.

I'll take care of the first floor,

so you two work the 2nd and 3rd.

I'll work the 2nd floor, and he can take the 3rd.

How am I supposed to walk upstairs with these boxes?

You do it.

I'll wrap things up here then.

We're here to volunteer, so don't take any pictures.

Also, hand every last one of these bottles.

Move it. Let's go!

I see you're busy.

When did you two get here?

I joined Mo Hyuk since he was coming to see you.

You're cheekier now that you're a prosecutor.

Excuse me, but when will Director Shin come by?

I miss him.

Do Hoon, let's get some fresh air.

Afterwards, we should grab a bite to eat.

How about some jjajangmyeon?

I'll stay here with Do Hoon...

while you two get some fresh air.

Do Hoon, I'll stay here with you. Would that be all right?

We won't be long. Mo Hyuk, let's go.

Do Hoon,

I'm sure your uncle went to a better place.

You should now find peace within yourself as well.

Is it okay to hand out this much free shampoo?

Unbelievable. Is that all you have to say to me?

Well, your family does own a shampoo company.

Besides, I have nothing better to say.

We're on the CEO's strict orders.

We hand out free products at orphanages too.

It's like we've become a charity group these days.

(CEO Kang Nam Koo)

Wake up!

Welcome! Indoors cleaning...

I thought you went fishing.

How can I when this is what you're up to?

You could always join me.

You can never beat me apart from a game of Go.

I only lost back then because I wasn't fully recovered.

We should go right away.

Nam Koo, let's go!

Sir, you're back.

- Is it already that day? - Yes, sir.

Your car's out front.

Thank you, Secretary Kim.

Always show me respect and keep living an honest life.

We should go, sir.

(Nam Koo Auto Shop)

We should take a break.

Yes, let's. I'll make you an iced coffee.

Are you seriously slacking off again?

You're here early. It isn't time yet.

I'm here to see if you're working hard.

The car out front isn't clean. I thought I taught you better.

Unbelievable. It didn't even take you a second to start nitpicking.

Mom, gosh. This really hurts.

I didn't know you were here too.

My gosh.

You should get going. You're going to visit her today.

Make sure you see her this time instead of just staying outside.

How have you been?

I'm good. I feel at ease and even a bit healthier.

Don't I look younger?

Yes, you seem to be doing great.

Today, I'm here with someone.

Nam Koo.

Have you been eating well?

Of course.

Have you eaten?

Yes, I have.

I see. How are things at the office?

If anyone's giving you a hard time...

Don't worry. Father's been teaching him well.

Anyway, Nam Koo has something to tell you.

To me? What is it?

I'll come by more often...

although I might be busy.

Don't force yourself to do so.

I'll always be waiting for you right here.

Anyway, I'll give you two some space.

No, I'll come too.

See you soon,

Mom.

What did you just call me?

Could you please say that again?

Mom.

I'll be back soon.

She must've been shocked to hear you call her that.

You could've at least given me a heads up.

Stop it already.

You're awfully shy about these things.

Anyway, remember to smile next time.

Exactly. See how better that is?

What a fine day.

We should visit Do Hoon.

Let's stop by to see your uncle first.

And Jae Min too.

Sure.

Is it that way? No, wait. It's this way.

Are you sure?

To be honest, no.

Then follow my lead for I know where we should head.

What if you're wrong?

Then...

I'll just have to take responsibility.

(Thank you for watching I Am Sorry, but I Love You.)

(Starting next week, "Sweet Enemy" will air.)

FRUIT OF THE VINE AND ROSEMARY BREAD - Duration: 5:50.

Hi I'm Steve Owens and welcome to Steve's kitchen. Now one of the things I love to

do is bake but one other thing I love even more than that

is to taste and experiment with food. Recently I bought

a Rosemary and vine fruit bloomer from a

local bakers and it is just delicious, so today I'm going to share with you the

recipe, you really should try this

it's fantastic come on let me show you how

Now when you're making bread it really is important to weigh things out rather

than to use cups it's far more accurate

I've got 350 grams that's twelve ounces of a bread flour or strong flour in a bowl

I've got a hundred grams of rye flour that's about three and a half ounces

and pop that in there as well I have a hundred grams of mixed grain now in

here we've got

oatmeal wheat berries and some semolina but you can use

any whole grains you like this is going to give a lovely nutty texture to the bread

a couple of teaspoons of salt little bit more than most but it does enhance the

flavor

now I'm using instant dry yeast here if you use regular yeast you may have to

activate it as the packet says

just pop that away from the salt I've got some warm water three hundred

milliliters

just going to pour that in and I'm going to start the process with a fork I'm just

going to

blend this together this just keeps your hands clean really at the beginning of

the mixing process

and once that's started to bind together I'm going to get my hands in there now

and draw this together into a dough. Now as that dough starts to come together it

will be quite sticky

we're going to bring it out onto our counter now for sure

if you have a dough hook and a stand mixer please feel free to use it I

prefer to do this by hand I just like the feel

of the dough now I'm going to start kneading this I'm stretching it out

until I get a lovely elastic dough so I'm just using the palm of my hand to push

it out and stretch the gluten

now expect the dough at this point to be fairly sticky but as you work it

and we going to do this for about 10 minutes you'll start to get less

stickiness and a beautiful silky texture

Now after just 10 minutes of kneading I've added no extra water or flour into

that

we've got this wonderful elastic dough and if you stretch that round like that there's

got a lovely spring back

the other reason for doing it by hand of course is we all need a bit of

exercise

in our life. Now fresh rosemary I want you to take

a tablespoon and a half of fresh chopped up rosemary

just pop it on to your bread pull that out a little bit like that because I'm

taking a hundred grams thats three-and-a-half ounces

of plump sultanas and just popping it on there as well

and then what we want to do is fold these into the bread

and another few minutes just to make sure they're fully incorporated

into the bread and now I've got that beautifully incorporated into the bread

I'm just going to take that up, I've got my bowl here again we'll take a little bit of

olive oil

and pop are dough in there and just coated over with the oil

then we want to cover that with a damp cloth and leave it somewhere warm for an

hour

or at least until its doubled in size

now my dough has taken about an hour to rise it's beautiful there were just going to

knock this down now

knock the air back out of it then I'm going to lift this dough

out onto my work surface. Just going to put a light dusting of flour

underneath I'm just going to roll this up

nice and tight take a cutter

and just divide the dough into two pieces we're going to get two loaves out of this

now I'm just going to ease this out into a sausage shape

and then I'm just going to use my hands and just pull the dough

around nice and tight like that and then the same again

with the second one so we end up with two beautiful plump

little loaves like that then I'm just going to lay these

out onto a baking tray I'm going to cover these over with a damp cloth

I'm going to leave them in a warm area until they've plumped up almost doubled in size

maybe about 30 minutes

now look at those they risen beautifully now I've preheated an oven to 190

degrees Celsius thats 375 fahrenheit

I'm going to bake these for about 25-35 minutes just keep an eye on them

before they go in I'm just going to take a sharp knife and just

these are bloomers after all, I'm just going to cut a few lines

across the Bloomers to allow them to open up as they bake

now they're ready to go in the oven

now look at those they've just come out of the oven

they are piping hot we need to leave them to completely cool down the smell

coming off there

is just delicious. Now I'm so impatient they haven't quite cooled down yet but I'm

going to have a piece they smell delicious

and what better way to serve them than with a farmhouse cheddar

and an Australian Merlot I'm just going to pour myself a little bit now

take a slice of this bloomer

lovely and crisp can you hear that?

I'm going to take a piece of this cheddar

it's crumbly and cheers here's to your health

Bon Apetit here goes ahh

that never ceases to amaze me just how good that is the combination of the

rosemary

and the sultanas you really have to give this a try please

share the love give this one the thumbs up. What are you still doing here? you

should be off

making this loaf be good I'll see you in the next video

cheers

Why Asif Kapadia Loved Making the Amy Winehouse Documentary? - Duration: 5:42.

See if you really love it,

then it's not hard to do any of it.

I really love making films, I love being on set,

I love watching films, reading scripts if you

enjoy it it's like it's not work.

I've never had a real job you know if you're

lucky enough you find something you love

then everything is a positive experience.

What are your defining moments, on working on the film Senna and Amy?

Senna there was a moment.

The key moment came when,

we were, quite early on in the process I've spent

early on in film terms can be

months we've been working on it for

months but there was a moment when I

thought I don't think we need talking interviews.

I think we can make a film entirely out of archive.

and at that point documentaries were you filmed someone, you do an interview,

cut to some footage, interview, footage.

And I felt there was a way of making this film that

was much more unusual and interesting.

It was like a light bulb going off.

And I thought,

If we do that I think we've got something really special.

That then became a very big decision

and quite a big battle to get everyone to kind of believe in it and understand

but that was the big turning point.

And I think that's your job as a director

sometimes you have to have a vision

an idea that will essentially make the film

what it is make or break it but you have

to be confident enough and strong enough

to kind of stick with it and there are

other times we make a decision and you

may be wrong you've got to be able to

listen to people and say okay I

understand maybe this should change.

With Amy the big decision I suppose came from

the idea everyone knew her songs

everyone loved her voice.

A lot of people didn't like her as a person that she

didn't really have a particularly you know,

her reputation wasn't great people

said some really awful things about her.

At one point I remember thinking I want

to read the lyrics of her songs I don't

want to listen to the music anymore

listen to the music I know the music

I'm just going to read the lyrics

I studied the lyrics and just thought

these are amazing and it was a point

when I realized how personal the lyrics were

that the story made sense.

Then suddenly I thought these will be

a key part of structure of the film.

That's Amy's voice that's her diary that's her

at her most honest and personal in a way that

when she gave interviews she was never

that honest, so the lyrics were really

the point sent okay I think I can figure

out how we're going to do the film the

songs are the narratives we just have to

work out which songs and in which order.

So each film had a moment when you're

like okay I think I know what this is

but it takes a long time to get that point.

How has gone helped you to understand the World around you?

I think that's a really interesting question

I think that what I have taken from film-making is that

is that I spend a lot of time

when i'm making a film trying to understand a

character trying to understand a

person's motivation or psychology or why

do they do that what makes them do these

things what happened what happened to

make them like that let's look back at

the history let's try and understand

their past and so when you start

thinking like that it's really quite

easy when you're in your everyday life

when you meet someone you're going okay

why did I do that why did I say that

what were they doing what happened to

them in their past you know and it's

like you become a cod psychologist or psychiatrist

It sounds like you have an interest in psychology.

I'm interested in people and your I'm interested in

psychology and and that becomes a part

of your job if you are a director

or a writer you have to understand how people

think or what you're trying to say and

what you, how can a shot have a meaning

how do how do you get a performance how

do you make an audience somewhere down

the line feel something while you're

writing something, so all of that comes

from being interested i think in people

and and psychology and emotions,

but also technology is a part of it and you know

visuals and sound and music all of these

elements come together to make the film.

So it's like having the most incredible

palette that you play with in order to

kind of create an emotion somewhere and

i think all of it has to eventually come

down to, you got to have an interest in people

and the brain and why people do what they do.

How do you evaluate your potential subjects for your films

do you like worry about if they're going

to be suitable for the audience that

you're presenting them to?

I don't worry about the audience much.

what I do is I like

drama I want people who have got lots of

things happening in their life and

generally they're people often who have

negative things going on around them.

The idea is to have have lots of layers you

don't always know them at the beginning

but when you do your research if you've

got 20, 30, 40, different issues going on

around them then I think you've got

enough for a movie you know what you

don't do is have someone who they were

really good at this thing and you see

them doing this thing what you want is

you want challenges you want high points

low points you want drama you want

things that go wrong that gives you

something to kind of take the audience

on the journey so you shouldn't worry

about the audience I feel too soon what

you want to do is find someone that's

going to engage youth you want to live

with this person and know about them and

sometimes they're going to really annoy

you sometimes they're going to drive you

mad but as long as you have an emotional

reaction positive or negative then

you've got a potential i think for a film.

Professional Business Coaching: The Reservoir - Duration: 3:21.

Now we're going outside.

Let's imagine that every person you meet, even on a cruise, every person you meet, you're

getting them into your reservoir.

You've got this big reservoir; this is how many your business can serve.

You just keep filling this reservoir, and eventually the reservoir is full and it starts

flowing over, overflowing.

Those people just come to you.

They just do.

So that's why we can't say "Okay, I'd really like to work with 10 clients, so I'll go out

and meet 100, and with a close rate of 10%, I'm going to get my 10."

No.

Go out and meet people all the time.

Everybody you meet.

Everybody you meet, you connect with them.

You collect their business card, their little one that gets elasticked into the package.

It's more important for you to collect their business card than it is for you to give them

your business card.

So only give your business card to people who ask for it.

My book, I will give my book away to people.

But only because they wanted to buy it and for some reason couldn't and we're not going

to see each other again.

They made the effort.

They went through the pain of looking for their credit card or looking for cash, asking

somebody.

Now I see they want this book.

Otherwise, I'm just giving that book to them and it's just going to clutter their house

until they throw it in the garbage can.

And yet my publishing company says, "You give it away at your tradeshows and you give it

away at your workshops and you give it away and you give it away ..." No, you don't.

All you're doing is giving away your garbage.

I know, because I've received a lot of books in the mail from people in the coaching industry.

So the thing is, you're in the driver's seat when you've got someone's card.

You've got someone's card, so you put them into your reservoir -- which we're going to

talk about what to do with the reservoir.

And because they gave you their card, they might have a little bit of interest in what

it is you do, unless they're just the people who distribute their card saying "Here, you're

going to buy my services because if I get 100 cards out there, 10 people are going to

buy my services."

But you've got their card, you're going to start connecting with them.

If they ask you for your card, give it to them.

It only costs you 16 cents to make it anyway.

But if they didn't ask, don't bother.

Because they're not going to do anything with it.

They're just going to throw it away.

And that's just creating garbage.

So yeah, you could just give it anyway, but it's just creating garbage.

So you've got this reservoir and you want to devote yourself to filling it with a thousand

names.

I have thousands of people in my database, but this is something you want to focus on,

is a thousand people in your database.
