A game that it's settings will round in the First World War, in 1918

Of his homeland dying from the "Spanish Flu"

And while trying to help one of his patients

He gets transformed into a "Vampire" by a bite!

"Jonathan" is the protagonist of the game

He's a High-Ranking Military Surgeon

Due to his vampiric nature

He must drink Blood to survive and to gain new Powers

He must very closely study his victims

Because every death has its consequences

Which will influence the life and story of "Reid"

And affects the Citizens of "London"

To fight his enemies, he use Melee Combat

Combined with Ranged Weapons and his Supernatural Vampire Powers!

The game have a Third-Person View

And "Jonathan" will have to communicate with

The inhabitants of "London" in order to collect informations

To study his targets before attacking them!

"Reid" can turn people into vampires

And he can enter a house only with "Invitation"

And each local have his own background and daily routine

Killing one of them will affect your character

Feeding on Human Blood will unlock more "Abilities" and "Powers"

His enemies are a vampires too

The "Aristocrats", or so called the "Ekon"

Types of those enemies will be

The "Skals", "Vulkod", "Nemrod" and the "Guard of Priwen"

A secret society of "Vampire Slayers"

"Crafting" will be part of the game

It will be possible for "Jonathan E. Reid"

To reuse certain items from corpses for crafting!

You can finish the game without killing anyone

But doing so won't let the player "Level-Up"

And instead, One of Four different endings of the game will be unlocked!

The development began with a team of 60 people

Later expanded to around 80

Developing the game wasn't easy, especially with the History part

"Dontnod" visited "London" and tooked Photographs

And many History Books and Documentaries were consulted

Also, some of the TV-Series like

"Casualty 1900s" and "The Knick"

Were very helpful in the Medical Information Part!

Using the "Unreal Engine 4"

The game atmosphere was setted in a "Gothic" mood

With "Photorealistic Lighting" and "Post-processes"

The game will be released for "PC", "PS4" and "Xbox One" in November 2017

And those who pre-order the game

Will gain access to bonus DLC called "The Hunters Heirlooms"

Which contains an exclusive "Sword", "Pistol" and "Outfit"

With more than 50 NPCs you can interact with in the game

And choices that will affect on the player's story

"Dontnod" will give us the extraordinay

The game with the darker choices

To be played with more than 20 hours!

ARE YOU A SHREW? DO YOU LIVE WITH ONE? 50 FACTS TO FIND OUT - Duration: 5:12.

I'm Clover the curious cat.

Have you ever heard about someone acting like a shrew?

I heard that yesterday and it got me wondering what personality quirk about the shrew made

that such an insult so here you go – fifty curious facts about the shrew.

A shrew is actually a small mammal that looks sort of like a mouse with its small rounded

body, muscular little legs, and grayish to brown short, soft, and thick fur

But shrews aren't actually rodents at all being more closely related to moles than any

other creature.

The biggest visual difference is that they shrew has a long, pointed snout which is a

most curious looking feature and plenty to distinguish a shrew from a mouse if you ask

me.

Shrews are curiously hardy creatures that can be found on all of the continents except

the island of Australia and in freezing Antarctica.

As you can likely guess, shrews have found ways to survive in all sorts of ecosystems

from forests to grasslands to rainforests in nearly any tropical or temperate land mass.

Shrews are terrestrial or land animals though some of them also live in trees.

Certain shrews that live near the water are even semi-aquatic.

The water loving shrews can actually run on the water with the help of stiff hairs on

the bottom of their feet that trap bubbles of air and keep the shrew above the surface

as they run.

Though the shrew prefers nighttime it is actually often active during the day at night in search

of food.

Shrews need a lot of food and often eat almost the entire day and night through.

See, the shrew has the fastest metabolic rate of all known animals, even higher than the

speedy hummingbird, and needs a lot of food to fuel all the energy it needs to keep its

hear pumping its incredible rate of as many as seven hundred beats per minute.

In fact, shrew should eat one and a half times their body weight in food every single day

and must consume a minimum of eighty percent of their body weight each day just to survive.

Even a short period of food deprivation lasting half a day will be the death of a shrew which

explains why people say captive shrews are hyper – they go all the time seeking out

new food.

Give their high caloric needs, shrews aren't picky eaters.

They mainly snack on insects but are also willing to eat nearly anything else small

enough including worms, fish, frogs, seeds and nuts willingly climbing tress, digging

holes in dirt and snow and even swimming in a relentless search for food.

Shrews are also claimed to be able to kill animals many times their size including other

rodents and even lizards.

The shrews lack of pickiness and need to eat so much makes them somewhat beneficial for

farmers since they will eliminate pests that might harm crops like insects and slugs.

Of course, they might also eat the crops too so it is a toss up.

Shrews likely know what will keep them save though since they are quite clever creatures

with a brain that weights about ten percent of the shrews total body weight of up to three

and a half ounces.

While shrews do vary greatly in size and can weigh less than an ounce and grow to between

one and one third inch and nine and a half inches, one of their biggest claims to fame

is that they have among their number the smallest mammal on earth.

The pygmy shrew wins that title since it grows only about as long as your finger.

The biggest shrew, the African shrew can grow as much as nine inches long meaning shrew

can vary a LOT in size.

With all the eating a shrew needs to do, you would expect them to have gnawing incisors

that gorw continuously throughout their lives like many other rodents but sadly, the shrews

teeth are much like a humans and can wear out making finding food difficult.

On the other hand, their teeth are sharp and spikelike so that is some help.

Also a help is that the shrew is one of the rare venomous mammals.

The shrew has poisonous saliva that they can deliver to their enemies though grooves in

their teeth.

The American short-tailed shrew is believed to have enough venom to kill up to two hundred

mice.

Venom isn't their only defense though.

Shrews have a smelly musk that they can release from a gland on their belly that most animals

find so repulsive they won't even consider eating a shrew.

For all their safety features, the shrew generally only lives between twelve and thirty months.

Shrews are generally solitary creatures who prefer to live on their own in their tree

home, underground burrow or snow dens and shrews will usually aggressively chase any

other shrew away from its territory.

You will see shrews together during mating season or immediately after a mother gives

birth.

Pregnancy for a shrew lasts between seventeen and thirty two days and a female shrew can

have as many as ten litters per year.

By three to four months of age, a baby shrew is considered an adult and will go find its

own territory, likely dig a burrow where they can store food, hide from predators and of

course use to have babies of its own.

Shrews have another curious feature.

While they have small eyes and poor vision, they have an excellent sense of smell and

amazing hearing.

In fact, shrews are one of the few land mammals known to use echolocation, the same sense

a bat uses to find insects.

Shrews are so good at this they actually communicate using ultrasonic squeaks.

Shrews are definitely curious creatures but I still haven't found any cause to find

the insult acting like a shrew so offensive.

I guess its their habit of aggressively driving off any other shrew who ventures too close

because it certainly wouldn't be the fact that shrews can literally be scared to death

by a sudden noise like thunder and will absolutely jump or faint if something scares them enough.

DIY Lip Balm {Easy}! 5 Mini Gatorade, Water, Unicorn, Fidget Spinner Lip Gloss DIYs! Lip Balm How To - Duration: 16:53.

hey guys today I'm going to show you five DIY lip balms that are easy and fun

if you love lip balm click that like button and comment down below with any

the first DIY lip balm will be a fidget spinner lip balm

to start you will need a one-inch screw post along with a one-inch nylon spacer like these I found

both of these at a local hardware store and it was around two dollars for both

I will also leave a link in the description to where you can purchase these online

take this screw post and put it into the nylon spacer and screw it together

now you will need three bead or lip balm containers like these here

is how the spacer will fit on the lip balm containers as you can see there is

enough opening on the top to screw off the lid start by hot glueing or

superglue in one of the lip balm containers to the spacer make sure when

you glue it on there that it is not all the way on the bottom and that it sits

in the middle

arrange the other two containers around the spacer and make a little mark to

where they are at glue the other two containers in place

to make the lip balm I'm going to use a couple different recipes for the first one I'm going to

add one tablespoon of beeswax along with one tablespoon of coconut oil to a

microwave-safe container and microwave that on 15 second increments until it is

fully melted once mine was melted down I added some eye shadow to tint it if

you're not comfortable with using eye shadow you can also use an old lipstick

remove the lid and pour the lip balm mixture into your container and set that

in the refrigerator or freezer for about ten minutes just to show you some

different recipes you can make them all the same or you can make them different

for this one I'm going to use this un- petroleum jelly you can also use

Vaseline I just put that in a microwave-safe container and melted that

in the microwave on 10 second increments until it was fully melted to this one

once it was melted I also added eye shadow but if you would like you can use lipstick

pour the lip balm mixture into one of the empty containers and place

that in the freezer or refrigerator for about 10 or 15 minutes

the last container I'm going to use the same un petroleum jelly once that was melted

down I added some pink eyeshadow

once all the lip balms have harden up you can place the lid back on them and then you have

your very own lip balm fidget spinner

the second DIY lip balm will be a unicorn horn lip balm

for this one I'm going to use the ice pop molds I will leave a link down below to where

you can find these here's what these look like once you take them out of the package

I started by coating mine with some olive oil to make the lip on for this

one I'm going to use three tablespoons of beeswax along with three

tablespoons of coconut oil I'm going to melt that in a microwave-safe container

in the microwave on 20 second increments until it is fully melted it was melted

to give it some tint I added some lipsticks I sprinkled some

edible glitter in the unicorn horn make sure that the glitter is edible I will

leave a link down below to the one that I use pour the lip balm mixture into the

mold then add the top then place it in the freezer for about 25 minutes

here is mine after I took it out of the freezer just pull back the silicone mold

and there you will have your unicorn horn lip balm

and to protect your lip on or carry it around with you just place the mold back

on it and there is this very easy unicorn horn DIY lip balm

the next lip balm will be an Oreo cookie lip balm

to start I will be using some of this amazing mold putty take an Oreo cookie apart and scrape off the filling and

save it for later as I will show you how to use it in the

lip balm recipe use equal parts of the yellow and white amazing mold putty and

mix those together once they're mixed together then place those on top of the

Oreo cookie and let them sit for about 15 or 20 minutes to form the mold

after 20 minutes I remove the cookies from the mold to make this a rainbow Oreo cookie

I cut three different sizes of foam boards and these will fit into the mold

just like this to separate each color

to make the lip balm over a candle I'm going to melt a little bit of beeswax

along with a little bit of coconut oil once it's melted to tint it I melted a

little piece of crayon be very careful as you are working with an open flame

place the Oreo cookie mold on an ice pack and the reason for doing this is so

the bottom remains cold and it starts to harden the lip balm quicker take one

of the shorter pieces of foam board place that in the mold then pour your

first color of lip balm into the mold place that in the freezer for about five

minutes when you're pouring the lip balm mixture into the mold make sure that you

press down on the piece of foam board or it will leak out the side

here is mine after I took it out of the freezer and just carefully pull the piece of foam

board away I'm just going to repeat that same process with all the colors of the rainbow

and then I just popped the Oreo cookie out of the mold

and here is how the first side of the cookie turned out to make the center of

the oreo cookie I melted some beeswax along with some coconut oil just like

before and then I'm going to scrape some of the filling into that and mix it

together and this is optional but if you want it to be a little bit whiter you can

add a little piece of white crayon

I made a circle silicone mold that will fit in the middle of the cookie and once

my mixture was all melted I poured it into the mold and place that in the

freezer for about 10 minutes here's mine after I took it out of the freezer and I

just popped it out of the mold

here are my three pieces from my Oreo cookie stick these all together melt

down a little bit of beeswax and put it on each layer and stick them together

that is how you make this rainbow Oreo cookie lip balm

the fourth idea will be miniature Perrier water bottle lip glosses

for this one I'm going to use one of the bottles that you get the champagne flavor Jelly Bellies in

thoroughly wash and clean out the container I wanted to tint the bottle so

it looked like a Perrier bottle so in a bowl I'm going to add one teaspoon of

Elmer's white glue now I'm going to add one and a half teaspoons of water to the glue

next five drops of green food coloring

mix all of that together paint the mixture on the outside of the bottle and

you will need several coats to make sure that it is fully covered

here is what mine look like after it was done cut the cap off

I printed out the label cut it down to size and laminated it with some clear packaging tape I will leave a link

down below to where you can print these out I just place some glue on the back

and secured it to the bottle

now to make the lipgloss for this one I'm going to use some lemonade kool-aid

you can use any flavor that you would like I put some of the kool-aid in a cup

and then I added just a little bit of water and stirred it together

I will be using the un petroleum jelly for this one vaseline will also work mix

enough of the un-- petroleum jelly with the kool-aid mixture to fill the bottle

place the lipgloss mixture in a ziploc bag cut off a little part of the end and

squeeze it into the bottle to the wand i'm going to use one of these this is a

pack that i found online i will leave a link down below if you don't have one of

these you can also use one from an old lip gloss and i will also show you how to

make one if you want to make your own you will need a straw to

cut the straw down to size so it fits in the bottle the other thing that you will need is a

piece of string or dental floss cut the bottom part of a makeup sponge

fold the piece of string or dental floss in half and thread it through the straw

place the makeup sponge in the middle pull it tight so it goes into the straw

and it will come out and then cut off the excess string

choose whatever wand that you are going to use and hot glue that to the cap

and that is how you make this version of this Perrier water bottle lipgloss i will also show you one

other version for this one choose whichever wand that you would like and

hot glue that to the cap just like before

for this one you will need some coconut cooking oil the kind that remains in a liquid state

pour the coconut oil into the bottle and if you want just a clear lip gloss you

can leave it just as it is and if you want to tint it you can add some

eyeshadow or some kool-aid and mix it together and that's how you make these

two different versions of the Perrier water bottle lip gloss now if you want

to make a carrier for these i will leave a link down below to the printable print

that out and cut it down to size

fold on the line then cut out the circle

place the printable over each of the bottles then glue the flaps together on the bottom - and there is the Perrier water bottle lip glosses

the last DIY will be miniature gatorade lip gloss

for this one I'm going to use these hot sauce bottles use the hot sauce so you don't waste it then

thoroughly wash and clean out the bottle and remove the label from the outside

print out the Gatorade label I will leave a link down below cut it down to

size I printed mine on sticker paper but you can print it on regular paper and

since I printed mine on sticker paper the G for the Gatorade doesn't come

through so I cut out little G's and place those over the top so it was white

to make the lip balms on this one I'm going to use the un petroleum jelly again

you can also use Vaseline place enough in the bottle to fill it up

I want to make mine the cool blue color Gatorade so I added a few drops of blue

food coloring and mix that together and it actually doesn't turn your lips blue

on it just gives it kind of a gloss color you can of course use any color

food coloring that you would like again just mix it with the petroleum jelly or

the Vaseline until you get a color that you would like

once the lip gloss is the color that you would like place the label on the bottle

i painted my cap orange choose the wand that you would like again you can use

one from an old lip gloss you can make one and then just measure it to the

bottle and cut it down to size hot glue it to the cap

Young MaxWrist rides Honda CBR1000RR Fireblade Superbike on Italy Mountain Ride in the Rain - Duration: 7:27.

This is one of my earlier riding videos while I was in Italy.

My first bike was the one I am riding in this video, the Honda Fireblade CBR1000RR Superbike.

This takes place at Valfurva Comune in Italy.

This is a one lane mountain road with blind corners and a 7-10% gradient.

Making it one of the most dangerous roads in Italy.

Watch as I try to remain calm and meet up with other motorcyclists with the need for speed.

enough including worms, fish, frogs, seeds and nuts willingly climbing tress, digging

holes in dirt and snow and even swimming in a relentless search for food.

Shrews are also claimed to be able to kill animals many times their size including other

rodents and even lizards.

The shrews lack of pickiness and need to eat so much makes them somewhat beneficial for

farmers since they will eliminate pests that might harm crops like insects and slugs.

Of course, they might also eat the crops too so it is a toss up.

Shrews likely know what will keep them save though since they are quite clever creatures

with a brain that weights about ten percent of the shrews total body weight of up to three

and a half ounces.

While shrews do vary greatly in size and can weigh less than an ounce and grow to between

one and one third inch and nine and a half inches, one of their biggest claims to fame

is that they have among their number the smallest mammal on earth.

The pygmy shrew wins that title since it grows only about as long as your finger.

The biggest shrew, the African shrew can grow as much as nine inches long meaning shrew

can vary a LOT in size.

With all the eating a shrew needs to do, you would expect them to have gnawing incisors

that gorw continuously throughout their lives like many other rodents but sadly, the shrews

teeth are much like a humans and can wear out making finding food difficult.

On the other hand, their teeth are sharp and spikelike so that is some help.

Also a help is that the shrew is one of the rare venomous mammals.

The shrew has poisonous saliva that they can deliver to their enemies though grooves in

their teeth.

The American short-tailed shrew is believed to have enough venom to kill up to two hundred

mice.

Venom isn't their only defense though.

Shrews have a smelly musk that they can release from a gland on their belly that most animals

find so repulsive they won't even consider eating a shrew.

For all their safety features, the shrew generally only lives between twelve and thirty months.

Shrews are generally solitary creatures who prefer to live on their own in their tree

home, underground burrow or snow dens and shrews will usually aggressively chase any

other shrew away from its territory.

You will see shrews together during mating season or immediately after a mother gives

birth.

Pregnancy for a shrew lasts between seventeen and thirty two days and a female shrew can

have as many as ten litters per year.

By three to four months of age, a baby shrew is considered an adult and will go find its

own territory, likely dig a burrow where they can store food, hide from predators and of

course use to have babies of its own.

Shrews have another curious feature.

While they have small eyes and poor vision, they have an excellent sense of smell and

amazing hearing.

In fact, shrews are one of the few land mammals known to use echolocation, the same sense

a bat uses to find insects.

Shrews are so good at this they actually communicate using ultrasonic squeaks.

Shrews are definitely curious creatures but I still haven't found any cause to find

the insult acting like a shrew so offensive.

I guess its their habit of aggressively driving off any other shrew who ventures too close

because it certainly wouldn't be the fact that shrews can literally be scared to death

by a sudden noise like thunder and will absolutely jump or faint if something scares them enough.

Regardless, those are my 50 curious shrew facts.

At Trump's Press Conference Yesterday, Everybody Saw The Thing LURKING In The Background

President Trump had a press conference Friday evening—his first in nearly three weeks.

Naturally the members of the press were there to record the event.

Although one journalist might have been more disappointed than the others…

Peter Baker, the New York Times' chief White House Correspondent, was probably surprised

to find his name on a placard in the very back of the rows for members of the press—practically

as far away as he could be from the President.

Here's Peter Baker way in the back during the press conference:

This is a dramatic change for the New York Times, which usually gets front row access.

Their preferential treatment changed, however, after James Comey's testimony Thursday night.

Former FBI director James Comey claimed that a major story that the New York Times released

about Russia and the Trump team was simply "not true."

The story in question asserted that members of Trump's staff during the 2016 election

were in contact with "senior Russian intelligence officials."

The story almost entirely drew on anonymous sources.

The New York Times is standing by its reporting and refusing to print a retraction, in spite

of Comey's testimony.

Comey said of the anonymous sources the Times' used:

"The people talking about [classified information] often don't really know what's going on

and those of us who actually know what's going on are not talking about it…and we

don't call the press and say, 'Hey, you got that thing wrong.'

"

The New York Time's statement for their defense of the story practically corroborates

Comey's claims.

They said they were standing by the original story because:

"Neither the FBI, nor Mr. Comey would comment or elaborate on what Mr. Comey believes to

be incorrect."

Well, I guess if they're going to take the word of some random anonymous people over

the former FBI Director, they can sit in the very back of the press conference.

I think Donald Trump is sending a clever and strong message this way: Continue to print

fabricated stories, and your privileged access to the President is going to be DENIED.

Thanks President Trump, for putting the New York Times in its place and sticking up to

liberal media bias!

The Higher Purpose of Negative Emotions

The Power of Accepting Our Emotions Like most life lessons we teach our children,

this one came unexpectedly, at a moment when I felt least prepared.

My son, who was four at the time, has always had a happy disposition. It�s his default

emotion. On this particular day I was rushing, busily focused on chores that were unimportant.

I had gone to his room to put away clothes and found him on his bed, quiet and still,

facing the wall. When I went to stroke his forehead I noticed a little tear in his eye.

�What�s up little fella?�

�I don�t know, mama. I just feel very sad and I don�t know why,� came his anguished

reply.

A few more tears began to flow. I knew in this moment that I would have to choose my

next words very carefully, so I paused and said, �Everything is going to be OK sweetheart.

We all feel sad for no reason sometimes. When sadness comes to visit, just say �Hello

sadness�, and before you know it, he�ll be gone again.�

Just hearing that sadness is normal lightened his load in an instant. But it�s knowledge

that we, as a collective in Western culture, seem to have lost.

In our endless pursuit of happiness, we�ve forgotten that negative emotions are normal.

The most unfortunate result of that is our refusal to accept sadness, which actually

makes us sadder. The happiness industry is now a multi-million dollar one churning out

videos, books, online tutorials and pills in endless supply.

Everywhere we turn we�re confronted with happy faces telling us that the most important

goal in life is happiness. I�ve even seen bumper stickers proudly proclaiming that happiness

is not just a goal, but a way of life. But of course sadness is utterly normal and unavoidable,

and it turns out is also necessary and beneficial.

Joe Forgas is a Professor of Psychology at Australia�s University of New South Wales.

He�s been studying negative emotions for many years and became fascinated with sadness.

He wanted to find out the purpose of sadness.

What Biological Need Could Sadness Possibly Serve?

Psychologists have known for some time that other negative emotions have benefits that

help us survive. Fear makes us avoid dangerous situations. Think of that chill that goes

up your spine when you find yourself alone at a train station at midnight and you see

a stranger approaching. Disgust also helps us avoid danger. Think of how you screw up

your face when you smell food that�s turned bad. Even anger can help us overcome different

problems in life, according to Professor Forgas.

�But sadness, which is the most common emotion that we all experience, was a kind of a puzzle.�

Professor Forgas and his team set out to solve the mystery. They began inducing mild negative

and positive emotions in research participants and then monitoring their responses to set

tasks. What they discovered was surprising.

�We didn�t really expect negative moods to provide any benefits but it turns out there

is a consistent pattern. People in a mild negative affective state tend to perform better

on many of those tasks.

Their memory is more accurate, their judgment seemed to be less biased, they communicate

more effectively.�

So what do all these improved responses mean in terms of evolutionary psychology?

What is the Purpose of Sadness?

According to Professor Forgas, sadness acts like an antenna.

�It seems that the purpose of mild sadness is it functions like an alarm signal. It alerts

us subconsciously to pay a little bit more attention to what goes on around us. To be

a little bit more focused, and to be a little bit more attentive,� he says.

�When people process information in this way you can see benefits. In terms of memory,

judgements, communication, and interpersonal behaviour.�

The main difference between positive and negative emotions is the internal versus the external

worlds.

�Happy states are beneficial. People tend to be more creative when they are in a positive

mood. They�re able to think more divergently. It�s a signal that promotes using internal,

intuitive automatic thinking.�

�Negative states focus attention to the outside world and result in more accurate

and concrete information processing.�

So negative emotions are not only normal and necessary but the harder we try to suppress

them, the worse we feel. The harder we try to be happy, the more elusive it becomes.

�When a culture continuously tells us that only positive affective states are desirable

or acceptable, then we end up more worried than we should be about normal negative states,�

he says.

�By extolling happiness and denying the virtues of sadness, we set an unachievable

goal for ourselves. We may also be causing more disappointment,�

�We ought to accept the entire landscape of human states as normal and even useful

and beneficial.�

Our Obsession with Happiness

If sadness and other �negative� emotions have positive outcomes for us, why did we

become so obsessed with happiness? This hasn�t always been the case. Ancient philosophers,

such as the Stoics, recognised the importance of learning to accept disappointment and loss.

Greek tragedies were written with the sole purpose of expressing and rehearsing negative

states. Some of Shakespeare�s greatest works explore our darkest emotions. And when we

celebrate tortured artists like Van Gogh or Beethoven or even Nick Cave, we also celebrate

the deep sorrow they so beautifully express through their work.

�These negative states are very deeply part of our evolutionary heritage. We can�t help

it, it�s not conscious,� explains Joe Forgas.

But happiness is a far easier concept than sadness to package, market and sell. It�s

also an easier concept to co-opt in order to sell us other stuff that we don�t need.

Can you imagine a Coke ad featuring a bunch of sad-sacks sitting around feeling sorry

for themselves? I don�t think so. As a result, the happiness industry is unlikely to abate

in the near future. How then, should we face the gamut of emotions likely to emerge throughout

any given day or even hour?

�Accept your moods. They are there for a reason. They signal states of the world you

need to respond to. And most of the time they are beneficial and helpful,� says Professor

Forgas.

And what should we teach our children about sadness?

Well, it seems that my instinct all those years ago when trying to comfort my young

son was spot on. Not only should we teach them to acknowledge and accept negative emotions

as a normal part of life, but we should also encourage children to welcome sadness with

a little �Hello� and before you know it, it�ll be gone.

DIY Lip Balm {Easy}! 5 Mini Gatorade, Water, Unicorn, Fidget Spinner Lip Gloss DIYs! Lip Balm How To - Duration: 16:53.

hey guys today I'm going to show you five DIY lip balms that are easy and fun

if you love lip balm click that like button and comment down below with any

the first DIY lip balm will be a fidget spinner lip balm

to start you will need a one-inch screw post along with a one-inch nylon spacer like these I found

both of these at a local hardware store and it was around two dollars for both

I will also leave a link in the description to where you can purchase these online

take this screw post and put it into the nylon spacer and screw it together

now you will need three bead or lip balm containers like these here

is how the spacer will fit on the lip balm containers as you can see there is

enough opening on the top to screw off the lid start by hot glueing or

superglue in one of the lip balm containers to the spacer make sure when

you glue it on there that it is not all the way on the bottom and that it sits

in the middle

arrange the other two containers around the spacer and make a little mark to

where they are at glue the other two containers in place

to make the lip balm I'm going to use a couple different recipes for the first one I'm going to

add one tablespoon of beeswax along with one tablespoon of coconut oil to a

microwave-safe container and microwave that on 15 second increments until it is

fully melted once mine was melted down I added some eye shadow to tint it if

you're not comfortable with using eye shadow you can also use an old lipstick

remove the lid and pour the lip balm mixture into your container and set that

in the refrigerator or freezer for about ten minutes just to show you some

different recipes you can make them all the same or you can make them different

for this one I'm going to use this un- petroleum jelly you can also use

Vaseline I just put that in a microwave-safe container and melted that

in the microwave on 10 second increments until it was fully melted to this one

once it was melted I also added eye shadow but if you would like you can use lipstick

pour the lip balm mixture into one of the empty containers and place

that in the freezer or refrigerator for about 10 or 15 minutes

the last container I'm going to use the same un petroleum jelly once that was melted

down I added some pink eyeshadow

once all the lip balms have harden up you can place the lid back on them and then you have

your very own lip balm fidget spinner

the second DIY lip balm will be a unicorn horn lip balm

for this one I'm going to use the ice pop molds I will leave a link down below to where

you can find these here's what these look like once you take them out of the package

I started by coating mine with some olive oil to make the lip on for this

one I'm going to use three tablespoons of beeswax along with three

tablespoons of coconut oil I'm going to melt that in a microwave-safe container

in the microwave on 20 second increments until it is fully melted it was melted

to give it some tint I added some lipsticks I sprinkled some

edible glitter in the unicorn horn make sure that the glitter is edible I will

leave a link down below to the one that I use pour the lip balm mixture into the

mold then add the top then place it in the freezer for about 25 minutes

here is mine after I took it out of the freezer just pull back the silicone mold

and there you will have your unicorn horn lip balm

and to protect your lip on or carry it around with you just place the mold back

on it and there is this very easy unicorn horn DIY lip balm

the next lip balm will be an Oreo cookie lip balm

to start I will be using some of this amazing mold putty take an Oreo cookie apart and scrape off the filling and

save it for later as I will show you how to use it in the

lip balm recipe use equal parts of the yellow and white amazing mold putty and

mix those together once they're mixed together then place those on top of the

Oreo cookie and let them sit for about 15 or 20 minutes to form the mold

after 20 minutes I remove the cookies from the mold to make this a rainbow Oreo cookie

I cut three different sizes of foam boards and these will fit into the mold

just like this to separate each color

to make the lip balm over a candle I'm going to melt a little bit of beeswax

along with a little bit of coconut oil once it's melted to tint it I melted a

little piece of crayon be very careful as you are working with an open flame

place the Oreo cookie mold on an ice pack and the reason for doing this is so

the bottom remains cold and it starts to harden the lip balm quicker take one

of the shorter pieces of foam board place that in the mold then pour your

first color of lip balm into the mold place that in the freezer for about five

minutes when you're pouring the lip balm mixture into the mold make sure that you

press down on the piece of foam board or it will leak out the side

here is mine after I took it out of the freezer and just carefully pull the piece of foam

board away I'm just going to repeat that same process with all the colors of the rainbow

and then I just popped the Oreo cookie out of the mold

and here is how the first side of the cookie turned out to make the center of

the oreo cookie I melted some beeswax along with some coconut oil just like

before and then I'm going to scrape some of the filling into that and mix it

together and this is optional but if you want it to be a little bit whiter you can

add a little piece of white crayon

I made a circle silicone mold that will fit in the middle of the cookie and once

my mixture was all melted I poured it into the mold and place that in the

freezer for about 10 minutes here's mine after I took it out of the freezer and I

just popped it out of the mold

here are my three pieces from my Oreo cookie stick these all together melt

down a little bit of beeswax and put it on each layer and stick them together

that is how you make this rainbow Oreo cookie lip balm

the fourth idea will be miniature Perrier water bottle lip glosses

for this one I'm going to use one of the bottles that you get the champagne flavor Jelly Bellies in

thoroughly wash and clean out the container I wanted to tint the bottle so

it looked like a Perrier bottle so in a bowl I'm going to add one teaspoon of

Elmer's white glue now I'm going to add one and a half teaspoons of water to the glue

next five drops of green food coloring

mix all of that together paint the mixture on the outside of the bottle and

you will need several coats to make sure that it is fully covered

here is what mine look like after it was done cut the cap off

I printed out the label cut it down to size and laminated it with some clear packaging tape I will leave a link

down below to where you can print these out I just place some glue on the back

and secured it to the bottle

now to make the lipgloss for this one I'm going to use some lemonade kool-aid

you can use any flavor that you would like I put some of the kool-aid in a cup

and then I added just a little bit of water and stirred it together

I will be using the un petroleum jelly for this one vaseline will also work mix

enough of the un-- petroleum jelly with the kool-aid mixture to fill the bottle

place the lipgloss mixture in a ziploc bag cut off a little part of the end and

squeeze it into the bottle to the wand i'm going to use one of these this is a

pack that i found online i will leave a link down below if you don't have one of

these you can also use one from an old lip gloss and i will also show you how to

make one if you want to make your own you will need a straw to

cut the straw down to size so it fits in the bottle the other thing that you will need is a

piece of string or dental floss cut the bottom part of a makeup sponge

fold the piece of string or dental floss in half and thread it through the straw

place the makeup sponge in the middle pull it tight so it goes into the straw

and it will come out and then cut off the excess string

choose whatever wand that you are going to use and hot glue that to the cap

and that is how you make this version of this Perrier water bottle lipgloss i will also show you one

other version for this one choose whichever wand that you would like and

hot glue that to the cap just like before

for this one you will need some coconut cooking oil the kind that remains in a liquid state

pour the coconut oil into the bottle and if you want just a clear lip gloss you

can leave it just as it is and if you want to tint it you can add some

eyeshadow or some kool-aid and mix it together and that's how you make these

two different versions of the Perrier water bottle lip gloss now if you want

to make a carrier for these i will leave a link down below to the printable print

that out and cut it down to size

fold on the line then cut out the circle

place the printable over each of the bottles then glue the flaps together on the bottom - and there is the Perrier water bottle lip glosses

the last DIY will be miniature gatorade lip gloss

for this one I'm going to use these hot sauce bottles use the hot sauce so you don't waste it then

thoroughly wash and clean out the bottle and remove the label from the outside

print out the Gatorade label I will leave a link down below cut it down to

size I printed mine on sticker paper but you can print it on regular paper and

since I printed mine on sticker paper the G for the Gatorade doesn't come

through so I cut out little G's and place those over the top so it was white

to make the lip balms on this one I'm going to use the un petroleum jelly again

you can also use Vaseline place enough in the bottle to fill it up

I want to make mine the cool blue color Gatorade so I added a few drops of blue

food coloring and mix that together and it actually doesn't turn your lips blue

on it just gives it kind of a gloss color you can of course use any color

food coloring that you would like again just mix it with the petroleum jelly or

the Vaseline until you get a color that you would like

once the lip gloss is the color that you would like place the label on the bottle

i painted my cap orange choose the wand that you would like again you can use

one from an old lip gloss you can make one and then just measure it to the

bottle and cut it down to size hot glue it to the cap

with President Trump.

FBI director he absolutely should have been fired, and if he is the chronic leaker he

should be potentially prosecuted for leaking information."

James Comey needs to be treated like every other leaker and prosecuted for giving away

secret government documents if a pattern of leaking is uncovered.

President Trump's personal lawyer, Marc Kasowitz, was also highly critical of the

Comey leaking revelations, but hedged on calling for a full out prosecution, saying:

"We will leave it the appropriate authorities to determine whether these leaks should be

investigated along with all those others being investigated."

No matter what happens, we know that the Comey testimony has proven that President Trump

is innocent of the bogus Russia-connection claims that the media had been spouting.

I certainly hope that Comey's leaking is investigated further so we can discover all

the damage Comey was doing to the Trump Administration.

It is a new day for Israel in the United Nations."

Earlier this week in Geneva Nikki Haley confirmed that the US was mulling over withdrawing from

the UN Human Rights Council because of its bias against Israel.

The UN is known for taking a harder line against Israel than literally any other country—just

last March the Council on Human Rights adopted 5 resolutions against Israel.

The Bush Administration had suspended its membership in the council for three years

for its anti-Israel bias.

Obama reentered the council in 2009, and shocked the world when the US voted to abstain during

a 2016 vote on a resolution introduced by Egypt condemning Israeli settlements as illegal.

Before, the US always voted against such resolutions.

Haley said Washington will make a decision on whether or not to withdraw at the end of

this month.

Either way, the Trump administration has already improved the US's relationship with Israel.

During Haley's visit, Netanyahu said during a speech:

"President Trump and you, I think, have changed the discourse, have drawn new standards,

and everybody's taking up, and that's great."

He added:

"I think it makes a world of difference, both for Israel and the US.

Again, I felt that the UN would collapse, you know, that whole scaffolding of lies would

just collapse.

I think you've put in that simple word – truth."

The Trump Administration is sticking up for Israel against the bullying UN and creating

real change within this organization.

Nikki Haley has made it clear: "Israel will no longer be the United Nation's punching

bag."

More People are Single Than Ever Before � And That�s a Good Thing

The 21st Century is the Age of Living Single Today, the number of single adults in the

U.S. � and many other nations around the world � is unprecedented. And the numbers

don�t just say people are staying single longer before settling down. More are staying

single for life. A 2014 Pew Report[2] estimates that by the time today�s young adults reach

the age of 50, about one in four of them will have never married.

The ascendancy of single living has left some in a panic. US News & World Report, for example,

cautioned that Americans think the country�s moral values are bad and getting worse, and

one of the top reasons for their concern is the large number of people that remain single.

But instead of fretting, maybe we should celebrate.

I�m a social scientist, and I�ve spent the past two decades researching and writing

about single people. I�ve found that the rise of single living is a boon to our cities

and towns and communities, our relatives and friends and neighbors. This trend has the

chance to redefine the traditional meaning � and confines � of home, family and community

Ties That Bind

For years, communities across the country have been organized by clusters of nuclear

families living in suburban homes. But there are some signs that this arrangement isn�t

working out so well.

These houses are often too isolating � too far from work and from one another. According

to a national survey ongoing since 1974, Americans have never been less likely to be friends

with their neighbors than they are now, with neighborliness lowest in the suburbs.

But studies have also shown that single people are bucking those trends. For example, they

are more likely than married people to encourage, help and socialize with their friends and

neighbors. They are also more likely to visit, support, advise and stay in touch with their

siblings and parents.

In fact, people who live alone are often the life of their cities and towns. They tend

to participate in more civic groups and public events, enrol in more art and music classes,

and go out to dinner more often than people who live with others. Single people, regardless

of whether they live alone or with others, also volunteer more[3] for social service

organizations, educational groups, hospitals and organizations devoted to the arts than

people who are married.

In contrast, when couples move in together or get married, they tend to become more insular,

even if they don�t have children.

Building Strength and Resilience

Unfortunately, single life continues to be stigmatized, with single people routinely

stereotyped as less secure and more self-centered than married people. They�re said to die

sooner, alone and sad.

Yet studies of people who live alone typically find that most are doing just fine; they don�t

feel isolated, nor are they sad and lonely.

Reports of the early death of single people have also been greatly exaggerated, as have

claims that marriage transforms miserable, sickly single people into happy and healthy

spouses.

In some significant ways, it�s the single people who are doing particularly well.

For example, people with more diversified relationship portfolios tend to be more satisfied

with their lives. In contrast, the insularity of couples who move in together or get married

can leave them vulnerable to poorer mental health.

Studies have shown that people who stay single develop more confidence in their own opinions

and undergo more personal growth[5] and development than people who marry. For example, they value

meaningful work[6] more than married people do. They may also have more opportunities

to enjoy the solitude that many of them savor.

Redefining the Family and Home

Married people often put their spouse (and, for some, kids) at the center of their lives.

That�s what they�re expected to do, and often it�s also what they want to do.

But single people are expanding the traditional boundaries of family. The people they care

about the most might include family in the traditional sense. But they�ll also loop

in friends, ex-partners and mentors. It�s a bigger, more inclusive family of people

who matter.

For many single people, single-family suburban homes aren�t going to offer them the balance

between sociability and solitude that they crave. They are instead finding or creating

a variety of different life spaces. Sometimes you�ll see 21st-century variations

of traditional arrangements, like multi-generational households that allow for privacy and independence

as well as social interaction. Others � and not just the very young � are living with

their friends or other families of choice.

Those who cherish their alone time will often choose to live alone. Some have committed

romantic relationships but choose to live in places of their own, a lifestyle of �living

apart together.�

Some of the most fascinating innovations are pursued by people who seek both solitude and

easy sociability. These individuals might move into their own apartment, but it�s

in a building or neighborhood where friends and family are already living. They might

buy a duplex with a close friend, or explore cohousing communities or pocket neighborhoods,

which are communities of small homes clustered around shared spaces such as courtyards or

gardens.

Single parents are also innovating. Single mothers, for example, can go to CoAbode to

try to find other single mothers with whom they can share a home and a life. Other single

people might want to raise children with the full support of another parent. Now they can

look for a partner in parenting � with no expectations for romance or marriage � at

websites such as Family by Design and Modamily.

As the potential for living a full and meaningful single life becomes more widely known, living

single will become more of a genuine choice. And when living single is a real choice, then

getting married will be, too. Fewer people will marry as a way of fleeing single life

or simply doing what they are expected to do, and more will choose it because it�s

what they really want.

If current trends continue, successive generations will have unprecedented opportunities to pursue

the life that suits them best, rather than the one that is prescribed.

Super Mario Odyssey isn't the first 3D Mario game planned to have realistic proportioned

humans.

Real humans were planned to appear in Sunshine, which can be seen with a brown-haired girl

from early footage of the game.

Super Mario Sunshine may have been planned to include multiplayer as well.

The game has an unused camera function labeled "SMS_isMultiplayerMap" that zooms in and out

to keep multiple characters in view.

If this function is activated while both Mario and Shadow Mario are on-screen, the camera

will automatically zoom to keep both characters in sight.

The Japanese version of the game also has files that mention an unused Isle Delfino

train system.

These files contain dialogue for buying tickets and getting them stamped, as well as a list

of train stations on the island.

It also seems that the train would've been the primary method of accessing levels.

Sunshine was even planned to have a form of currency known as Sol Coins, which could have

been used to buy items, and tickets for the scrapped train system.

Furthermore, the names of several unused or beta levels exist in the game's code, including

Warship Island, Fire Shrine, Erto Rock, and Hotel Lacrima.

And other assets suggest that Corona Mountain was intended to be a full level with multiple

missions, but was scaled back.

Interestingly, a file relating to Gelato Beach has an obscene name, and is titled "Sand Bomb

Base Shit".

Other folders also contain lyrics from the songs "I Wanna Be Loved By You" and "Stand

By Me" as placeholder text.

Super Mario Sunshine has at least three unused enemies.

One foe uses the same animations as Strollin' Stu, and is named "dorokuri" in the game's

files.

As this enemy can steal Mario's hat, its name is most likely a reference to the Japanese

word "dorobou," which means "thief."

There's also another, much larger Stu named "Hinokuri2" that seems to be an unused boss.

When put into the game via hacking, it will spawn other Stus while walking around.

In order to defeat Hinokuri2, the player has to spray water into its body to destroy its

shell before stomping on its exposed eye.

A 2D drawing of a Goomba named "Kug" is listed as a test enemy in the game's data.

Kug actually exists in the game itself, located underneath Pinna Park.

That said, it was never intended to be seen, and is only viewable by glitching the camera

through the ground.

Every area in the game has an image file that determines the distribution of goop within

that level.

For levels that don't contain any goop, developers filled the unused images with notes and doodles,

including a sketch of Kug.

Several of the game's areas also have unused music.

When Mario rides a Yoshi, drums will begin playing to the beat of the music.

Since Yoshi is absent from Noki Bay, the Casino mission of Hotel Delfino, or any of the Secret

Courses, these level's Yoshi arrangements go unused.

Another unused idea was having FLUDD use a gun-like nozzle for shooting enemies.

The team cut this idea early on, fearing that a gun-like item would receive backlash in

the United States.

Super Mario Sunshine features full English voice acting in all versions of the game.

Outside of English speaking countries, the game can only be understood through subtitles

in the local language.

Surprisingly, the Japanese version of Sunshine features even more English than the game's

western release.

When Mario and co arrive at Isle Delfino in the initial cutscene, Mario and Toadsworth

have a brief conversation in the background.

This dialogue was removed from the international release for unknown reasons.

The Japanese version of the courtroom scene also uses an alternate recording.

In this alternate take, one of the voice actors mispronounces the word "shine" as "shrine".

The in-game signposts in the Japanese version even display messages written in English.

The text itself is just fragments of a dictionary sample sentence, and was replaced with generic

symbols in other versions of the game.

International versions of Super Mario Sunshine had several changes to the game's difficulty.

One example can be found in the sixth episode of Sirena Beach.

The Japanese version required players to clean 99% of the gloop in order to complete the

mission, while only 95% percent needs to be cleaned in the western version.

In Europe, there were even more changes to the game's difficulty: the ferris wheel in

Pinna Park and the windmill in Bianco Hills both move slower than in other versions.

In the Japanese game, the Piantas and Noki both take their names from Italian words.

The Noki are called Mare, which means 'sea', and Piantas are called Monte, which means

'mountain'.

This makes sense, as Piantas are shaped like mountains, and the Noki are covered in sea

shells.

These two races also seem to represent land and sea; two equally defining traits of an

island.

Although most references to the word 'monte' were removed in the English game, the game's

localizers overlooked one asset.

The label on the game's water bottles still reads 'Monte Drink' instead of 'Pianta Drink'.

During the cutscene when Mario meets FLUDD, an informational display pops up and shows

several past Mario games, along with a block of text.

A closer examination of this text reveals that it's a list of titles in the Mario series

written backwards.

However, the titles of Super Mario Kart and Mario Kart 64 have both misspelled the word

"kart."

Though these details are obscure, some of the game's secrets are completely hidden.

One concealed secret is that the racer Il Piantissimo has a familiar face under his

mask.

Removing the mask from the character's model shows that he greatly resembles the running

man from Ocarina of Time and the Postman from Majora's Mask.

Similarly, examining the model for Eely-Mouth reveals that his throat and stomach are fully

modeled with a notable amount of detail, despite never being shown in-game.

In 2009, a scientific study by Sage Publications showed a link between playing Super Mario

Sunshine and helpful behavior in people.

In the experiment, participants were asked to play one of three types of video games:

violent games, neutral games, or games the researchers deemed "prosocial," which included

Super Mario Sunshine and Chibi Robo.

Afterward, participants were asked to give their assigned partner a series of puzzles

to complete.

The participants had a variety of puzzles to choose from, ranging from easy to hard,

and were told their partners would receive a prize should they succeed.

Researchers found that participants who played the prosocial games were much more likely

to give their partners easy puzzles.

The scientists concluded that the results indicate games like Super Mario Sunshine can

inspire people to be more helpful to others.
