[Closed Caption] Sengoku Koihime X - Shino 01 - Duration: 33:40.

Hiyoko: Koro-chan. I got the water.

Koroko: Okay.

Hiyoko: Ah, Takenaka-san. Good morning. #Eyes visible right away?#

Koroko: Good morning!

Shino: Good morning... *yawn*...

Hiyoko: Did you sleep well?

Shino: Yes. Thank you...

Shino: At Kiyosu, I can sleep, I don't need to be afraid of blades possibly aimed at me...

Hiyoko: I see. Good then!

Koroko: Will you wash your face? There's water in that tub.

Shino: Okay... well then.

Shino: Uu...

Koroko: Here you go, Takenaka-san. A towel. #Good girls, welcoming her and generally being nice#

Shino: Nn... thank you.

Hiyoko: Takenaka-san, did you get used to Kiyosu yet? #They really like her name#

Shino: Yes...

Hiyoko: Do you know where stores are? Takenaka-san, you came here without any luggage, so don't you have things to buy?

Shino: For now... I'm okay. #Seriously, they use her name in almost every phrase#

Hiyoko: I see... but, you're going to the castle with Kensuke-sama today, right?

Shino: Yes...

Koroko: Then, you can go shopping with Kensuke-sama on the way back...

Hiyoko: And if there's something you find hard to ask Kensuke-sama, ask us.

Shino: Yes... umm...

Koroko: What's wrong?

Shino: Umm... where's Kensuke-sama?

Koroko: Ah, Kensuke-sama is probably still sleeping.

Shino: Is he still resting? Normally, he'd be already...

Hiyoko: Yeah. After we came back with Takenaka-san, there's been a lot of work to do at the castle, so he woke up early, but...

Koroko: It appears most of that work was settled. And, you're not in a hurry today, right?

Shino: Yes. That said, it's pretty late already...

Hiyoko: It's nothing new. Don't worry about it.

Koroko: Right. He naturally wakes up early when he has something urgent.

Shino: I see...

Hiyoko: But, any more and it'll count as oversleeping, right?

Koroko: Right. Takenaka-san, we have to prepare breakfast, so can you go wake Kensuke-sama up meanwhile?

Shino: Wake up...

Koroko: Can we ask you to?

Shino: Understood...

I woke up because of the sound of my house's door opening, which is pretty clanky.

Ah, it's this late already... #Just... please no morning boners#

???: ...

Huh... Hiyo or Koro would've called me out cheerfully the moment they open the door...

Shino: Here we go...

This voice is... Shino. I suppose Hiyo and Koro have morning preparations to do, so they sent Shino to wake me up, since she isn't busy...

That sound was probably Shino entering the room. #His brain works much better than Kazuto's at mornings too#

Shino: Kensuke-sama... he's really still sleeping. #Why is it dark? Oh, right, my eyes are closed#

Come to think of it, it's Shino's first time waking me up, as I've been busy at the castle all the time since she got here.

How is Shino going to wake me up? I'm curious, so I'll pretend to sleep a bit longer.

Shino: ...

Huh. Shino sat down next to my futon, taking no actions.

...Isn't she here to wake me up?

Shino: Kensuke... sama...

Shino: ...

Shino: No... this won't do.

And now she's telling herself it won't do. I don't know what she means... but yeah, I won't wake up from something that quiet.

Shino: Right. After all...

Now I can hear a rustling sound. With that, my blanket got raised a bit, letting in the fresh air of the morning...

...Eh, Shino?!

Shino: Here we go...

As she tried to get under my blanket... #I'm not sure, she might be just trying to remove the blanket#

Shino: Ah...

Shino: Wound...

As she tried to get under my blanket, she ended up gently touching the wound I recieved from that spear back then.

As she touched bandages around it, Shino's hand felt soft and warm...

Shino: No... this is not a good method either. #No kidding#

As she muttered that, she put the blanket back, bringing back the warm air under it.

I'm not sure what she means again... she probably got reminded of what happened from seeing that wound.

It's not Shino's fault that I got this wound, so she shouldn't worry about it...

Shino: ...

To be fair, I wouldn't have minded this method... no, wait, it wouldn't be right for a girl to crawl under a man's blanket.

It wouldn't be!

But don't stop midway!

Shino: Other methods... a pleasant awakening... #Just don't get any SKM-like ideas#

Shino is muttering something next to my pillow while thinking.

She's probably not used to this. #Well, she was never around people that don't hate her#

Shino: Right... this is the only way.

I heard her standing up and Shino moved away.

As I opened my eyes lightly, I saw Shino's small back.

She seems to be looking for something at the kitchen... #Oh yeah, this is not just a room, he has a whole house...#

Shino: This is...

Eh, wait, that glittering blade you're holding... #Of course not#

Just what are you planning, Shino-san?! #I guess that's one way to wake a warrior up#

Shino: Ah, no, not this.

After muttering that, she put the blade away.

I'm glad... I was worried about her waking me up with a knife. #In Vanadis, someone woke up protag by putting a sword in his mouth#

Shino: Here it is...

Next, she took out something small. She opened the lid, checked its contents, nodded lightly and carried it all the way here.

Right before I closed my eyes completely, I could barely see the jar of miso that I left at the kitchen.

She's not going to use it as a blunt weapon... right?! #I don't think Shino is ever going to hurt him, no matter what#

Shino: Here we go...

Good, it seems that's not the case. Shino sat down next to my pillow once again, putting jar of miso next to it...

As she opened the jar lid, I can feel the pleasant scent of miso. #I'm really glad she's not a horny idiot#

Shino: ...

Shino sat down silently nearby, without doing anything.

Shino: ...

Shino only opened the miso jar and sat down next to it...

Kensuke: ...What are you doing? #It'd work if he wasn't awake already#

Shino: Ah, you woke up.

Kensuke: Yeah. Well, I woke up, but... what's this?

Shino: Yes. I thought I'd give Kensuke-sama a pleasant awakening...

With a jar of miso?

Shino: It's quite unpleasant to be forcefully woken up by others... so, if possible, I wanted you to wake up on your own, Kensuke-sama.

Kensuke: I see.

Shino: If you compare sound and scent, scent has a gentler effect.

Shino: And, from what I've seen of Kensuke-sama lately, it appears you like miso soup...

Kensuke: So, that's why the miso scent. #She thought things through#

Shino: Yes. Hiyo-san and Koro-san are making the real miso soup right now, so I decided there's no reason to actually make one here.

Miso soup and simply miso have different scents... but whatever. #I'm just glad it's not "Let's stroke his dick to see if he wakes up"#

Kensuke: Shino.

Shino: Yes?

Kensuke: Shino, about cooking...

Shino: ...?

Ah, I see. It's probably a question I shouldn't ask.

Kensuke: Yeah... well, I'm grateful for your thought.

Shino: As long as you're happy with it.

Kensuke: But, Shino's voice is not unpleasant, so just waking me up normally would've been enough.

Shino: Is that so? #She does have a gentle voice#

Kensuke: Hiyo and Koro loudly say "Wake up!" the moment they come in. #Imagine hearing Mitsuki be like "Wake up, brat!". That'd be scary#

Shino: Loudly... #Or Norio/Chousen...#

Kensuke: It doesn't have to be loud. Just talking normally next to my bed would've been enough, so just stick to the way it's easy for you...

Shino: So you were awake... #Smart girl#

Kensuke: Ah... yeah. Well... I was curious to see how you'll wake me up... sorry if that bothers you.

Shino: I don't mind. Learning enemy's tricks is one of basics on a battlefield. #Also, it's a good thing he admitted it without making excuses#

Kensuke: Ah... yeah.

Battlefield, huh...

I have a feeling her reasoning is pretty weird, but whatever. I'll ignore it for now.

Kensuke: Then, I'll ask while I'm at it... why were you trying to get under my blanket?

Shino: That's...

Shino: I thought getting under your blanket and gently whispering you to wake up would be good...

What's with this dream-like awakening method. I would've picked that over jar of miso...

Shino: Umm... there's the matter of your wound too...

Kensuke: This wound has nothing to do with you, Shino, so don't worry about it.

Shino: Also...

Kensuke: Also?

Shino: My body is pretty weak...

Kensuke: Eh?

Shino: It's a secret of utmost secrecy...

Kensuke: Utmost secrecy, huh...

...She had the idea, but got to embarrassed to do it as she tried to, is that the case? It's a pity, but well, it's only natural.

Koroko: Kensuke-sama! Breakfast is ready, so hurry up and wake up! #So, what was the point of Shino even doing anything?#

Kensuke: Yeah! I'll be right there!

For now, the fact that Shino came to wake me up...

I'm glad she's at least trying to get used to how things are done here.

Okay, let's go eat.

After breakfast with Koro and the rest, I took Shino and left the residence. #I just realized that Shino is a samurai, while Koro and Hiyo are commoners#

Ahead of us is the castle of Kiyosu. #So... they must feel reserved around her#

Kensuke: Did you get used to Kiyosu?

Shino: A bit...

Kensuke: Well, you just got here. You should take your time and get used to it.

Shino: ...

Shino is probably nervous, as she's more silent than usual. So, it's naturally my role to keep this conversation going.

Kensuke: What about Hiyo and Koro? Are you getting along? #You know, sometimes, you don't have to talk, silence works too#

Shino: ...

No answer, huh.

From what I've seen during the breakfasts lately, Shino is still not used to their pace.

They're being considerate, so well, time will solve this problem.

Shino: About Kuon-sama...

Kensuke: Hmm?

Suddenly, unusually, Shino was the one to start a conversation.

Shino: Was Kuon-sama... away until now?

Kensuke: Kuon? Kuon was in the castle all this time. She had no reason to go anywhere lately.

I see her walking near the castle from time to time, but that's about it.

I don't think she had any schedule open since Shino came to Kiyosu.

Shino: ...Then, why am I this late meeting Kuon-sama?

Kensuke: You had stuff to do around here too, Shino. We thought we should delay it to let you settle... should we've done this sooner?

...Now that I think about it, did Shino even get any rest, since she had to deal with all the petty stuff right away?

Well, there's still time before we attack Mino, so she will still have time to rest.

Shino: No... I see.

I wonder why she doesn't sound too pleased with it... is something bothering her?

As I entered the castle with Shino, I met the usual trio right away. #Oh yeah, I remember why Shino is not too hyped about this#

Wakana: Oh, Kensuke. I see you around a lot lately.

Kensuke: I had a lot of work to do, after all...

Wanko: Kensuke-sama. Who is this girl? #Shino is afraid of them all for a valid reason#

Shino: ...!

As Wanko peeked at her cheerfully, Shino trembled and hid behind me. #Hinari mode activated#

Hina: Ah, she hid herself.

Kensuke: Wanko. Don't scare her.

Wanko: I, I haven't scared her!

Wakan: How cruel, Wanko.

Hina: You bully.

Wanko: I'm not cruel! I'm not a bully either! #If anything, Wakana is the most intimidating here#

Shino: ...

Kensuke: Shino...

I doubt she can introduce herself with how scared she is...

Kensuke: Umm, she's Takenaka Hanbee Shigeharu. Also known as Shino...

Wakana: Ooh! Takenaka Hanbee, do you mean that Takenaka Hanbee?! #Yup, she's famous around here... as a major enemy, in a way#

Shino: ...!

She got scared by Wakana's voice, as I could feel Shino's hands trembling, as she is clinging to my back.

Kensuke: Wakana. Don't scare her.

Hina: Yay. Wakana-chin, you're also a bully! #And this chill attitude has zero intimidation#

Wakana: I, I'm not bullying her!

Wanko: How cruel.

Wakana: I'm not cruel! Right, Kensuke?!

Kensuke: Ahaha... Come on, Shino. Don't get scared so much.

Shino: ...

Well, she's not even used to Hiyo and Koro's pace yet. Those three have way more power than them, so of course she's surprised...

Hina: Takenaka Hanbee, it's that one, right? From Shinkano...

Shino: ...!

Ah, she trembled again.

Hina: Fueh?! DId I say something that would scare her?!

Wakana: Yay. You bully! #She likely is#

Wanko: You're a bully!

Hina: I, I'm not bullying her... right, Kensuke-kun?

Kensuke: Shino. They won't bite.

Hina: Wanko might.

Shino: ...!

Wanko: I, I won't!

Wakana: We've heard from Mitsuki-sama. But just how did you capture Takenaka Hanbee of Shinkano, Kensuke?

Kensuke: I didn't capture her. I asked her to join us.

Wanko: Fueh? Do people join if you just ask them to? #Add charisma, gratitude and common goal there#

Wakana: Of course not. If people became allies that easily, we wouldn't have conquests.

Hina: Then, after all...

Kensuke: After all, what?

Hina: Eh? Well, that's embarrassing to say. I can't say anything else. Kensuke-kun, you pervert.

Kensuke: ...Wha! I won't do anything like that!

Shino: ...

Kensuke: Oh, come on, now Shino is getting some distance even from me...

Wakana: You bully! #I bet Hina said it just for this#

Wanko: Kensuke-sama, you're also a bully!

Hina: Yay, a bully! And a pervert too! #At least noone takes her jokes seriously#

Kensuke: I'm not a bully! And I'm not a pervert either!

Even Shino is afraid of me now, since they called me a bully!

Kensuke: Jeez... anyway, she'll be joining us from now on... is that okay? Shino, you too.

Shino: ...(nod)

Wakana: But, to let go of Takenaka Hanbee, are Mino people that dumb? #Yes#

Hina: For sure. But it's okay, makes things easier for us.

Shino: ...

Kensuke: Well then, we'll go greet Kuon. See ya, you three.

Wanko: Yeah. See ya, you two.

After parting with the trio, we walked around the castle, looking for Kuon.

Which is fine, but you can never find Kuon when you're looking for her...

I told her I'll bring Shino today, so I don't think she left to the town.

Mitsuki: Oh, brat. What are you doing here? #Okay, THIS person you can be scared of#

Kensuke: Shino... I came to introduce Takenaka Hanbee. Do you know where Kuon is?

Mugiho: Kuon-sama... is probably at the garden... is this girl Takenaka Hanbee-san?

Shino: ...

Kensuke: Shino, you know Mitsuki-san, right? And this is... #Another soothing member that shouldn't be intimidating#

Mugiho: I'm Niwa Gorouzemonjou Nagahide. Also known as Mugiho.

Shino: Niwa... so you're Rice Gorouza-dono.

Mugiho: Yeah. I'm honored that you know me. Pleased to meet you, Hanbee-san.

Shino: ...(nod)

Shino nodded to Mugiho, but is still hiding behind me.

Mugiho: ...Umm, do you hate me by any chance? #She looks way older with this look on her face#

Kensuke: She's just a bit shy. I think she'll be fine when she gets used to it... #She is, but that's not the reason here#

Mitsuki: You've heard him... it's probably for that reason, she doesn't even approach me.

Mugiho: Well, you're Demon Shibata, after all, Mitsuki-sama. #Yup. She's awesome, but scary#

Mitsuki: I don't want to hear it from Demon Gorouza of all people.

Shino: ...!

Kensuke: Come on, Mitsuki-san. Don't intimidate her so much...

Mitsuki: Hmm...

Mugiho: But, it's reassuring to have Takenaka-dono of Shinkano joining us.

Mitsuki: Right.

Mugiho: Come to think of it, you participated at the battle of Shinkano, right, Mitsuki-sama?

I see... well, that battle happened before I arrived, and since Kuon didn't participate, it was under command of Mitsuki-san and Mugiho-san.

Mitsuki: She got us that time. But, I didn't expect the general back then to be such a lass...

Shino: ...!

Ah, she hid behind me again.

Mitsuki: ...Am I that scary? #Of course she's afraid of people she defeated before#

Mugiho: This was completely your own fault, Mitsuki-sama. #She's afraid they're holding grudges#

Kensuke: Yeah...

You don't have to be Shino to freak out here. To be fair, I got scared myself.

Mitsuki: Hmm... I didn't mean to. #Yeah, she is a nice person#

Mugiho: Anyway, Shino, pleased to meet you, okay?

Shino: ...(nod)

Shino only lightly nodded at Mugiho-san's gentle words.

Kensuke: I think Kuon should be around here...

From what I've heard from Mitsuki-san, she's been around here earlier, she went to to check the garden, so she should be here... should be.

Shino: ...

Kensuke: Shino, are you tired? Should we rest a bit?

Shino: I'm... okay.

Looking at how she acts around Hiyo and Koro, she's a bit shy... but I should just wait for now, until she gets used to everyone.

I should bring her with me to the castle, when I have any work here...

Kensuke: Ah, there she is. Hey, Kuon.

Kuon: What's up, Kensuke?

Kensuke: I've been looking for you.

Kuon: I see. Come to think of it, you mentioned bringing Takenaka Hanbee today.

Shino: And you're... Oda Saburou-dono?

Kuon: Right.

Kensuke: Kuon... as I mentioned, this is Takenaka Hanbee Shigeharu.

Shino: Also known as Shino... best regards.

Kuon: I'm Oda Saburou Nobunaga. Feel free to call me Kuon.

What's with all this tension in the air...

Kuon: I've heard about it from Mitsuki. So you're planning to only devote a part of your skills to me?

Wha, Kuon... don't ask that right away!

Shino: Yes...

...And, Shino nodded!

Kuon: ...

Shino: ...

Kensuke: ...

I kinda wanted to say something to change the mood, but Shino seems to be enduring something, while Kuon is not changing her facial expression.

Kensuke: ...

This is not a situation where I should say something. #Good call#

Shino: ...

Kuon: Yeah... it's probably hard having to deal with Kensuke, but good luck.

Shino: I'll devote all of my skills to him...

Kuon: Hahaha. How honest of you.

It seems they came to an agreement...

What? This conversation. No, it wasn't exactly a conversation.

Kuon: But, that finally settled the battle of Shinkano.

Shino: ...

Kensuke: What do you mean?

Kuon: Sure, we lost that battle. Against Shino's strategy.

Shino: ...

She didn't back away at all when she was intimidated by Kuon earlier, but now I can feel her grasping the hem of my clothes.

Kuon: Don't be afraid. Some you win, some you lose, I don't plan to make a fuss over that.

Shino: ...

Kuon: But, the modern Koumei of Mino from back then is now by my side. Isn't that a victory?

She said she's not bothered by it, but she really is... #I wonder if Kensuke realizes he knows the original Koumei, Shuri#

Kensuke: That's so like you, Kuon... #She's a really good ruler#

Kuon: That's how it is. Use all of your skills to help my husband.

Shino: ...(nod, nod, nod)

As Kuon finally smiled and said that, Shino nodded three times.

After surviving meeting with Kuon, Shino and I are heading back to the residence.

Shino: Was that okay, Kensuke-sama?

Kensuke: Yeah. I finished my work at the castle anyway.

And it seems Shino got quite tired by meeting with Kuon.

Kensuke: ...Are you okay, Shino?

Shino: I'm a bit exhausted...

Well, no wonder. Before even meeting Kuon, we ran into quite a lot of powerful members. We should take it easy for the rest of this day.

Shino: Still... thank you.

Kensuke: Hmm?

Shino: About Shinkano... You helped me out with it, right, Kensuke-sama?

Kensuke: What?

Shino: Well... noone at the castle held any grudges over Shinkano... even that Demon Shibata...

Kensuke: Eh? Noone held any to begin with, you know?

Shino: ...Eh?

Kensuke: Hiyo and Koro didn't seem bothered about it either.

Shino: ...Was that not because of your orders, Kensuke-sama?

Kensuke: I never said anything.

I might've said something like "get along with Shino", but that's so natural that I don't even remember.

Shino: Then... why did it take so long for me to meet with Kuon-sama?

Shino: Kensuke-sama, you went to the castle every single day, so I thought you were getting rid of the grudges over Shinkano...

Shino: Or, taking time to see if I'm a spy of Mino or not...

Kensuke: No, I really just had work to do... I see, you were worried about it.

Shino: ...

Kensuke: I said it already. I thought you have your own worries to deal with, so we should give you a time to rest.

Since the moment she captured Inabayama castle and up until she arrived to Owari, she barely had any time to rest...

Shino: Was that... not a phrase to reassure me?

Kensuke: Ahaha, no, no.

Kensuke: I've heard from Koro. That you can sleep sound without worrying about assassins now.

Shino: Yes... I can sleep sound at Kiyosu.

Shino: It's a life you saved, Kensuke-sama. If it gets taken on your orders, I wouldn't mind.

Kensuke: No, no, no. Wait a bit, okay?!

Shino: ...Yes?

Kensuke: Why are you going to sleep expecting to be killed?!

She sounds like she really accepted death.

Shino: I see...

Kensuke: Not in that way, be at ease normally. Noone is going to try and kill you here, Shino.

Kensuke: Same goes for everyone at the castle. Was there anyone that would try and kill you?

Shino: Then... really?

Kensuke: That's right. I asked Kuon to let you rest a bit, and she agreed.

At most, she said "You're really kind to women". Even though I don't think I'm only kind to women...

Kensuke: But, I see... I didn't consider possibility of you being a spy. #He's kind to women, because ALMOST EVERYONE is women here#

Shino: ...You haven't realized it before?

Kensuke: Only after you just told me.

Even everyone at the castle, a lot of them praised Takenaka Hanbee's defense, but not a single one complained about Shinkano...

Shino: ...

Kensuke: Kuon said it herself just now, some you win, some you lose... were you scared, because you thought she would hold a grudge?

Shino: ...(nod)

Shino: At Mino... they acted as if it's only normal for them to win. Not to mention, taking an officer that defeated them as an ally is unheard of.

Kensuke: ...After you gave Inabayama back to Tatsuoki, were you treated badly by the people of Western Mino?

Shino: If that wasn't the case, I wouldn't be here.

I see...

Since she was always treated that way, it's only natural for her to think Kuon would not easily forgive Shinkano.

Kensuke: At any rate, Owari is different from Mino. I'm sure a lot of things will confuse you... but it's not a place where people would think badly of you or try to harm you.

Shino: Yes.

Shino: In that case... can I ask something else? #He forgot he got attacked in his sleep, then by oni and then forced to duel#

Kensuke: Ask anything. #But other than oni, he was just too shady#

I see. As I'm walking and talking with Shino, I need to slowly fill the gap between here and Mino in her.

The next step is probably bringing her to the castle a lot, so she could get used to it...

Shino: Why are those two of Kensuke squad are being kind to me? #Because they're awesome? Especially Koro#

Shino: Even if it was on your order, I still feel their kindness go beyond that.

Kensuke: ...You don't get it?

Shino: If I did, I wouldn't ask.

Fair point...

Shino: There's no merit in being on good terms with a weirdo like me... I'm not exactly friendly like Hiyo-san.

Kensuke: Was that the case at Mino? #She's just ahead of her times though#

Shino nodded at my question.

Shino: I believe I was fairly loyal to Tatsuoki. And in terms of commanding, I had minor achievements, like Shinkano...

Kensuke: I see...

Still, calling achievements at Shinkano "minor", huh. #Raze and pillage Mino. They deserve it#

Shino... actually, they ask for too much at Mino. #And they can't even do half of that#

Kensuke: Shino, you need to learn more.

Shino: I keep my lack of education in mind, but it's displeasing to be straight out told about it...

Kensuke: Ah, that's not what I mean.

How should I say it the best in Shino's terms...

Kensuke: Kensuke squad is a small force.

Shino: Yes.

Kensuke: So, unlike the major forces that you commanded before, small forces require their own structure and skills.

Shino: I understand that... grasp of human nature.

Kensuke: Well, that's to put it in your terms.

Shino: ...Then, is it different?

Kensuke: Don't you think they just want to get along with you? You're not that different in age too.

Shino: Even though I'm this... unfriendly? #Wait, actually, how old are they? They might be older than Kensuke#

Kensuke: Shino, you're just shy. You're talking normally with me, and starting to be able to talk with Hiyo and Koro, right?

Shino: ... #Oh, this is part I haven't played yet...#

Kensuke: I think they just want to get along without things like structure of Kensuke squad in mind. I'm sure of it.

Shino: That's... to use me? #She REALLY doesn't trust people. Can't blame her though#

Kensuke: No. They're not trying to use you.

Kensuke: Anyway, Shino, you understand the importance of human relationships, right? Then, you could always try our method.

Shino: Right... I don't know what it is though.

Kensuke: Then, I'll teach you an ultimate skill.

Shino: You're starting right from the ultimate skill?

Kensuke: It's not a secret techinique, after all.

Shino: I see...

Kensuke: When we come back, make sure to greet Hiyo and Koro.

Shino: Okay.

Kensuke: That's it.

Shino: ...What?

Shino: Is that... all?

Kensuke: Yup. That's all... simple, right?

Shino: It's so simple that I doubt its effectiveness.

Kensuke: It works well. Isn't it the same for strategems? Most basic ones are surprisingly the closest to ultimate skills.

Shino: Well, I can't really deny that...

Kensuke: It's the same here. If you keep that in mind... you'll be an even greater strategist. To the point that Sleeping Dragon and Fledgling Phoenix won't compare to you.

Shino: Sleeping Dragon and Fledgling Phoenix... #That's Shuri and Hinari's nicknames, right?#

Kensuke: You don't know it? #With pathetic level of SKM strategies, she long surpassed them#

Shino: No. It's about Shokatsu Koumei and Hou Shigen. #Comment box seems oddly happy#

As expected... she knows some unusual things. #Also, wasn't Hinari's nickname Fledgling Phoenix?#

Kensuke: Anyway, it's not hard, so just trust me on this one. #The ONLY good strategist in SKM was Fuu#

Shino: I see...

Kensuke: Then, one more thing, while we're at it. #Also, even Kensuke long surpassed SKM level of strategy#

I smiled at puzzled Shino and took her hand. #Though Farnese and Dantalian would devastate them#

Shino: ...!

Shino: Is this... an ultimate skill too? #No, that's just swag#

Kensuke: Right. A practice to learn ultimate skill of getting along with me.

Shino: If it's a practice... it can't be helped... #This point of Shino's hidden eyes is really effective#

Her soft and small hand didn't try to escape my grasp. Instead, she grasped me back tightly.

Hiyoko: Ah, welcome back! Kensuke-sama, Takenaka-san.

Koroko: Lunch is prepared already. Let's eat together.

I see. It's this late already...

Hiyoko: Ah! Takenaka-san is holding hands with Kensuke-sama. How nice.

Kensuke: Yes, yes. My other hand is free. #I always said humans need a third hand#

Hiyoko: Is that okay, Kensuke-sama?

As I offered her my left hand, which is not holding Shino's, Hiyo happily grasped it.

Koroko: Ah, good for you, Hiyo. Kensuke-sama... #See? Stupid human bodies only having two hands...#

Hmm, crap. I gave Hiyo an okay without thinking, but I only have two hands. #Just agree to give Koro a tight hug later#

Hiyoko: Then, Koro-chan. Join me! #...I didn't think of that option#

Koroko: Well, that'll do... is that okay, Kensuke-sama?

Kensuke: Do you think I would refuse?

Koroko: Fufu. I don't. #It'll be really hard to walk though#

Saying that and being a bit embarrassed, Koro grasped my left hand's fingers. #Also, holding the hem of his clothes from behind works too, I guess#

Shino: An ultimate skill to get along with Kensuke-sama... #THIS is the kind of skills protags need. Not "Endless Sexual Stamina"#

Shino: If I learn it... I'll surpass Sleeping Dragon and Fledgling Phoenix... #Yeah, those two never learned how to get along with Kazuto...#

Kensuke: Shino?

Hiyoko: What's wrong, Takenaka-san?

Shino: Umm...

Koroko: Hmm?

Shino: ...It's Shino.

I could feel her grasping my right hand tightly, but it's not to surprise me. She clenched it to resolve herself.

Yeah. I'm cheering for you, Shino.

Shino: I don't mind you two calling me Shino too...

Koroko: Got it... And you can call me Koro.

Hiyoko: And call me Hiyo.

Koroko: Well then, once again... welcome back, Shino-chan. #She instantly went from -san to -chan#

Hiyoko: Welcome back. Shino-chan!

Shino: I, I'm back... Hiyo, Koro! #Totally worth it!#

Emotional Alchemy 4 Ways To Harness Personal Power From Negative Emotions - Duration: 7:39.

Emotional Alchemy 4 Ways To Harness Personal Power From Negative Emotions

By consciousreminder

When you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change. ~ Wayne

Dyer Emotional alchemy is the ultimate psychological leveling mechanism.

Its a way of turning the tables on feelings that have the potential to overwhelm us; to

flip the script lest the script flip us. Its a meta-tool that we can use to leverage grace,

sagacity, and wisdom into our lives, despite emotional toil. Emotions are part of life.

Theres no avoiding them. And actually when we attempt to avoid or suppress them, it can

be doubly dangerous. It can become a kind of festering poison that grows and grows,

until it boils over into an explosion of emotion that we simply cannot control.

The key is to feel the emotion, but act despite it. Be fully present with the emotion, honor

it, and then act in a way that the emotion doesnt become our puppet master. Easier

said than done, sure, but as Epictetus said, Life is hard, brutal, punishing, narrow,

and confining, a deadly business.

1. Feel the fear but act with courage

What matters most is how well you walk through the fire. Charles Bukowski

The key to fearlessness is to feel the fear; be with it, own it, learn what it has to teach,

and then flip the tables on it and act courageously rather than fearfully. A courageous act trumps

any amount of fear. Indeed, as Brandon Stanton said,

The way to learn courage is to be afraid of something and then do it anyway.

Imagine a firefighter standing outside of a burning building with a baby on the top

floor. He would be a fool not to fear the inferno. Fear is the natural and proper response

to a deadly situation.

But if he doesnt act courageously despite the fear, then the baby dies. So he must feel

the fear, but then act with courage, in order to do the right thing. With enough practice,

the fear can even be used as a tool that focuses our courage into a laser point of fearlessness.

2. Feel the anger but act with humor

A tragedy is a comedy misunderstood. William Shakespeare

Sometimes anger is the proper response toward a situation, like with murder, rape, child

abuse, and ecocide, for example. Or like Jesus, filled with righteous anger, flipping over

tables and flogging greedy bankers. But most of the time, anger tends to blind us to the

heart of a given situation.

It overwhelms our logic and causes us to lash out pettily and frantically. Suddenly we become

five year olds ranting, raving, and raging against reason, out of control. It can happen

to the best of us. The key to tempering the fires of anger is to feel the anger; honor

it, allow it to fill you with hot smoke, and then flip the burning script into a comic

strip.

Laughing at our own anger tempers the tempest. It takes the oxygen out of our raging fire,

so that we can see clearly and eventually act calmly. Imagine experiencing road rage,

feeling it boil your blood, but then acting with humor by laughing out loud at your anger

instead of flipping someone the bird. At first it will feel fakes, but eventually it will

be genuine. Its easier said than done, and takes much practice, but it can be quite

effective with just a little practice.

3. Feel the grief but act with steadfastness

Although the world is full of suffering, it is also full of the overcoming of it.

~ Helen Keller

Grief can be a crippling emotion. Yet this emotion, more than any other, should not be

suppressed.

It must be worked through, reconciled, and the pain of it honored as a precious side

effect of having lost something we love. Indeed, the pain is like a trophy proving to the cosmos

that we loved.

We should hold it aloft, atop the mountain of our grief, and declare, with both humility

and pride, I have loved, therefore I have truly lived!

Transforming the coal of our grief into the diamond of our strength is no easy task, but

it is a necessary step in self-mastery. Much pressure is involved, which is our reconciliation

regarding loss. We must feel the grief but act with steadfastness in order to truly honor

our loss and not fall, crippled and holistic, into the existential black hole.

4. Feel jealousy but act with compersion

This is a tough one. Probably the most counterintuitive of the four strategies. Jealousy can be a

gut-wrenching emotion that can easily tip us over into other emotions like anger, grief,

and even fear. Its one of those emotions that slaps our ego around and gives our insecurities

a reason to rear their ugly heads. Its especially bad when the person that were

jealous over has made a serious commitment to us and has betrayed our trust.

Soul-wrenching stuff. Turning the tables on this emotion is extremely difficult. Almost

as difficult as forgiveness; which is possibly one of the most difficult things a human can

do. The concept of compersion is right up there, and for some people, may even be more

difficult than forgiveness. This is because practicing compersion asks us to be happy

when a loved one finds love with another. Its the ultimate challenge of our love,

asking, If you truly love him/her you will be happy that they finally discovered love

with someone else.

Sure, you would rather that love had been discovered with you, but thats life. If

you can honestly say you love them, then you will still love them even if they find love

with someone else. If not, you probably didnt really love them to begin with. Or, your love

was based upon ownership rather than relationship. As with all things excellent, the art of emotional

alchemy is not easy. It takes daily practice and deep soul searching. It takes the ability

to face our emotions honestly so that we can act honorably. It takes much self-overcoming

lest we inadvertently become overwhelmed.

Spiritual Healing 101 The Mind Field is a Mine Field - Duration: 4:36.

Hi, this is Anna.

I'm here to talk about why the mind field is a minefield, at least when it comes to

spiritual healing.

I mentioned in our last segment that humans have four energy fields: the physical, the

mental, the emotional, and the spiritual and the spiritual is the biggest one.

I also mentioned that the physical and the emotional fields both connect pretty easily

into the spiritual field, and seem to align well with spiritual healing.

Where we tend to have problems is on the mental field level.

And that's because of the purpose of the mental field, and the actor in the mental field which

is the mind.

The purpose of the mind is to help us navigate the physical world.

Its work is very linear.

It collects data, analyzes data.

It comes up with predictions and strategies, and creates rules and structures to help us

make decisions and take actions which are going to cause us the least pain and the least

danger.

This is how that might work.

Let's say you do some online dating and you meet someone.

You have a relationship.

In about a month you find out the person is lying.

You feel heartbroken, you feel betrayed, you feel hurt.

The mind might take that experience and turn it into a rule, and say, "No more online dating

for us."

The mind would create a little structure out of that rule, in the mental field.

I think of it as a little house.

Inside the house is that experience of heartbreak, pain, and betrayal.

And the structure around it is the rule, and the rule is there to prevent this from happening

to you again.

Of course over time the mind will create lots of these little houses, these little rules,

maybe create a whole system out of it.

And the mind can also collect stories from other people.

Which is probably why when we hear of a tragedy happening to somebody we are so quick to ask

questions about what the person did wrong.

I don't think we're cruel people that just want to blame the victim.

I think our minds are trying to use this as a strategy, so we can prevent ourselves from

having that same thing happen to us.

So the mind is collecting all of these houses, and they are rules to keep us from getting

hurt.

But the problem is inside each of the houses is the living pain.

Which means we are still in pain because the pain has still not been released.

It's now trapped in this rule-house.

The purpose is to keep us from having more pain, but the problem with that is, as the

Law of Attraction tells us, whatever is within us draws more of the same to us.

Which means if we have fifty houses full of pain, those fifty houses of pain are drawing

similar pain patterns to us.

Which means over time our pain level is actually increasing.

We get to a point where it starts feeling critical.

We feel that this is really getting hard for us.

That's the point at which we have to question whether our current strategy is working.

That's when we're going to feel tempted to look beyond the known, the understood, the

predictable, into the unknown.

Which is moving from the mental field into the emotional and finally to the spiritual

field where miracles are possible.

But even if we're in a lot of pain we can expect that the mind is always going to resist

that movement, at least at first.

Because the mind isn't only about keeping us safe; it's about keeping us same.

And moving outside of its realm of understanding means moving into the unknown, which is inherently

dangerous for the mind.

It is possible - it's not even that hard to overcome the resistance of the mental field,

if you know it's there and if you have the right tools.

But you need to know it's there.

Otherwise it can really sabotage you and trip you up.

As one of my teachers once told me, "The mind must submit to the heart, and the heart must

submit to the soul."

Which is the movement from the mental out to the spiritual.

It is totally possible - it just needs awareness and the right support system.

So that is it for this segment, but before we leave this mental resistance topic behind,

I want to look at another facet of it.

The next segment, which is a little trickier to work with, is called, "The Payoffs for

Staying Sick."

I hope you'll join me next time.

Bye!

for some of these objects, and there's a lot of responsibility

that comes with that.

I'm Robert Hurt, I'm the visualization scientist

at IPAC, which is a science and data center

for astrophysics and planetary science at Caltech.

My name is Tim Pyle,

I'm a multimedia producer at IPAC.

I work with Robert.

>> Hurt:We've done illustrations of regions where stars form

and cores, the stellar remnants after a star

like our sun dies leaving a white dwarf.

A neutron star that's left at the core

of a supernova explosion.

Super massive black holes that sit in the cores of galaxies.

>> Pyle: Show the rocky planets, gas giants,

brown dwarfs, cool stars.

>> Hurt: With TRAPPIST-1, I was immediately thinking,

"This is going to be the most significant thing

that has come out of the Spitzer mission."

It's going to be the result that I think

Spitzer will really be remembered for.

The properties that we come away with,

from this kind of observation

include the diameter of the planet, its orbital period,

>> Pyle: whether it's likely to be tidally locked

which will say something about

what the planet probably looks like.

>> Hurt: If it's less dense than the Earth,

it might have more volatiles like water on it,

which is why a two of the TRAPPIST planets

were shown as water worlds.

If it has a higher density than Earth,

then it's probably a little more rocky.

>> Pyle: By doing these artist concepts

we are actually getting across the point that

no, these aren't just "we know there's a planet ther""

and that's the extent of our information about it.

All of these decisions are made

in conjunction with the scientists.

>> Hurt: I got my PhD in astrophysics from UCLA.

>> Pyle: I'm an artist with a Hollywood background.

>> Hurt: A lot of times I'm very focused on you know

the science bullet points that I'm trying to get across.

We, we kind of cover each other's blind spots a bit.

If you go back and you look at the whole history of space art,

and science-based illustration, for ya know

reaching back many, many decades

you have a visual history,

a visual record of our evolving understanding.

The art is as much historical record of

our changing understanding of the universe

as the textbooks that we write.

First Try Carding & Spinning Alpaca Fleece! Carding w/ American Girl Hairbrushes - Duration: 12:16.

hey crafters so today I'm going to do something fun this isn't a tutorial or a

yarn review or anything quite like that this is going to be me trying something

new this is something I have wanted to do for a long time but have never had

the opportunity and I don't actually know that this is going to work because

I don't have all the right materials because I've only got a little bit of

supplies so I didn't want to go by out and buy a whole bunch of tools but what

I'm going to try doing today is I've got this alpaca fiber here I'll pack of

weeks and also sometimes called just alpaca and I want to turn this into yarn

I've always wanted to do this I've always said I want to sheep but that's

like totally not realistic and then I was doing research when I got this and

actually I'll pack of fiber seems to be even better than sheep's wool and the

reason why is because it's less oily it's a lot cleaner and it's also softer

wool from sheep when it's against the skin it can be rough and itchy but most

people don't have any issues with alpaca against the skin if it was like really

good and soft so anyways the first step in turning stuff like this into your

that you can actually proshare your knit with is you have to card it but this is

what I was talking about as far as not having tools and things so instead what

I've got I've got these fun brushes here these are actually American Girl brushes

that I'm going to try using because I've got the wire bristles on them I clean

all the doll hair so I didn't get carded into there so I'm going to try using

that for carting the wool and then my dad made some drops of kids some drop

spindles for Christmas so anyways I thought you guys might want to see what

it looks like when I'm crafting on my own kind of messing around and

experimenting so yeah we're going to try two cards and I'll pack a fleece with

American Girl hair brushes so let's see how this goes so I was really tempted to

try this off-screen to see if it was going to totally flop or not but I did

not so I have no idea this is going to go so I think the basic idea

to kind of just drag it through like that probably these brushes are really

small so this might lead to other challenges and I'm also not completely

sure what you do once it's like been carded like I know you can thin it I

don't know if it's just because carding it kind of straightens the fibers and

stuff or if it's because it makes it fluffy so it actually like bonds

together better I'm going to pull this off it actually seems to kind of be

working I don't know if I should give it a well I'm not the problems when I tried

to spin it without doing anything to it because I read some stuff that said you

can sometimes do that is I couldn't get the fibers to actually bond together

they were too fine and silky sewn up just because I'm not skilled at spinning

or if it's because I don't know what I'm doing or if it's because the fleece

itself is difficult to use so let me look at what I've got here because the

idea is you should be able to take this a kind of trial at the faint between

your fingers well it's kind of going to get a little bit better than it would

maybe I just need to card a whole bunch and also I haven't done anything with

this because when I got it I didn't know what state the fleeces and I don't know

what if it has been done with it this kind of money stroke line that I'll put

that up on my blog so I don't know if it's actually been washed or if this was

just literally on the alpacas back and they shear them and then it was put in

this bag and given to me so yeah fun stuff

it's actually really clean there hasn't been a ton of much of anything in here

okay I don't know if I totally just like mess it up by grabbing it the other way

so this is getting a lot fluffier you can see this right here you can kind of

see the alpaca how you know this would be like the side just to be against the

skin how we've got more of a fluff to it so I think this is probably going to

help carting it because the point of carting it is to change the directions

of the wool fiber or not the wolf side the fleece is fiber bow direction that

they run sever they're all and lowing together so anyways I'm going to keep

messing with this and we'll see what happens so here you can see I've got

some Cardiff's fiber some carny fleece I actually may need to card this a little

bit more but when you're using brushes that are this side it's kind of

challenging to get a bunch carded or to card it very much so in the future if I

end up continuing to do this I'm actually invest in some actual carding

material supplies versus doll hair brushes but the basic idea I watched a

couple of videos so we're going to see if I can do this or not if you know how

to card and spin fiber then you're probably say they're laughing at me

going well yeah I have no idea and yes you are correct I have no idea what I'm

doing it just watched a couple videos right about it and we're trying it so

the basic idea is you want to kind of you kind of have your clump of fleece

here and you can't pull from it and so for start I'm just going to kind of oh

this is going to work much better than it was when we tried it last time I

can't to make some I'll pack of yards guys I'm so excited

okay so I've got my drop spindle here and I'm going to tie it around this

bottom part so I've got the end of my fiber attached on there and then I'm

going to come up the side so I'm going to keep pulling on this I'll twist it a

little bit before I put in it and I'm going to rock it right there in the hook

and then when I came in to cool let's retire on now I'm going to start

something when you spin you kind of just twirl this and I'll let us start feeding

through your hand I don't know how to there's going to be some very lumpy yarn

because I don't know how to really how to properly spin it I guess a

little closer there how to properly pull on apply tension so you might have

noticed thinking apart so suppose you're able to call hold it and it'll twist the

fibers back together which it looks like it did guys I'm going to make a pickup

soon I am so excited okay so now once you've got a little bit on here you just

can kind of start wrapping it around this part and then hook it back here

okay this is what I'm struggling with because in all the way as I watched

everyone was just going to like oh yeah I'm just going to pull on it it comes

gently so maybe it's an error on my part of how I carded it and if you know how

to do this and you want to get many pointers I am more than willing to

listen to any advice you might be able to give me yeah it's the part I'm not

sure how to do umm how to because see I keep spinning and I'm going to this kind

of main clump of it but I don't know how to properly change the tension okay what

I am learning is it's a little more difficult than all the videos and

rebound line says but it's not impossible I've never done it before and

I'm doing decent maybe let's wrap this around here I can I pull this off more

wonder if I can kind of sew at this side if I kind of slump this out a little

more I bet if i carded it more and card it

better I bet it'd be a lot easier unless my kind of fluffing it like this kind of

overlap this will strike the nest as one of this is there sorry

still keep thick which is the panel line thicker yarns it's actually really soft

if you look at it you see that it looks a little bit like it almost like a

coarse because it's kind of pulled tight and you've got all these little bumps on

it but it doesn't feel particularly smooth I want to say but it's not at all

icky as i weirdly rub it on my face but now I'm working on my facing you know

your face skin is more sensitive and yeah it feels pretty soft it should be

very comfortable to wear against the skin which is really cool I've also

heard that or research that alpaca fiber is very water repellant almost so that's

kind of cool whereas wool you know it gets wet

absorbs the water and then it gets heavy I'm so bad sometimes

we're going to see how this turns out

and maybe you'll be inspired to try something count before maybe you'll even

try to spin please whether it's useful or whether it's all pack up please

I'm not very satisfied actually alpaca fleece is sometimes just called

I'll pack that which is kind of cool cause like it's the animal but also the

animal product like it'd be if you call you know you like you get milk from cows

you get chicken from chick eggs from chickens and you get wool from sheep but

you get alpaca from alpaca I don't know if it's gonna I just took this money I

don't know why I like that so much

well huh I'm gonna unwind a second look at the nice thick strand it's got when I

wind up I like unwrap it from the base here so guys this is the piece of alpaca

fiber yarn that I made which it thinks is really cool it's very uneven I

definitely got a bunch of lumping here and in the middle like this is pretty

thin but I think it's that cool about this and it's like you know we buy

clothing we buy shirts and shorts you know for the store but we never actually

follow the process all the way through I just do this is so cool

being able to start with the raw fiber and be able to card it turn it into yarn

and then eventually once I do more than I'll probably need to pick up some more

I'll pack a fiber from somewhere but anyways I think it's so cool how you go

from the raw material to the finished product

all by hand because you know 500 years ago that's so everybody did it so I just

think it's cool that even though some of these skills are kind of disappearing

over time that you can stick and still be picked back up and the same processes

that have been used for centuries can still be used today so anyways guys this

has been my exciting alpaca yarn adventure and I'll give you guys an

update if I get more of this spun or if I try to make anything if I order more

I don't know again that's getting really thin there was my newest around I'm

going to have to definitely practice some more and do some more research on

this because that is like really crazy you're on that I just made I don't know

why I'd be able to use that for but hopefully I'll get better and if you

know any tips that you want to share with me definitely comment below and

give it a like if you appreciate my efforts if you thought my efforts or

terrible but kind of funny but in a good spirit then give this video a like and

as always go check out my blog I could said this is a fun story behind this

yarn are you displeased and how I got it so go check out the story on my blog and

until next time happy crafting
