Zubr-class LCAC - World's Largest Hovercraft - Russian Navy [Review] - Duration: 3:41.
The Zubr class is a class of air-cushioned landing craft (LCAC).
This class of military hovercraft is, as of 2012, the world's largest, with a standard
full load displacement of 555 tons.
The hovercraft is designed to sealift amphibious assault units (such as marines and tanks)
from equipped/non-equipped vessels to non-equipped shores, as well as transport and plant naval
mines.
There are currently seven Zubr-class hovercraft in active service worldwide with several pending
delivery.
There are two vessels in service with the Russian Navy and four with the Hellenic Navy.
In 2009, China placed an order for four vessels from Ukraine as part of a deal worth 315 million
USD.
Two updated versions of the vessels will be built at Crimea's Feodosia Shipbuilding Company
followed by two advanced models of the surface warship.
The purchase of HS Cephalonia for the Hellenic Navy marked the first time a Soviet-designed
naval craft had been built for a NATO member.
High strength and buoyancy is provided by a rectangular pontoon, the main load-carrying
part of the ship's hull.
The superstructure built on the pontoon is divided into three compartments with two longitudinal
bulkheads: combat material compartment in the midsection fitted with tank ramps, and
outboard sections housing main and auxiliary propulsion units, troop compartments, living
quarters, and NBC protection systems.
Personnel are protected against the effects of weapons of mass destruction by airtight
sealing of combat stations, crew and troop compartments, augmented with individual gas
masks and protection suits.
The ship is also protected from magnetic influence mines with an active system to compensate
for the magnetic fields generated by the ship and transported materials.
The central command post and MS-227 device compartments are strengthened with alloy armor.
The Zubr-class landing craft has a cargo area of 400 square metres and a fuel capacity of
56 tons.
It can carry three main battle tanks (up to 150 tonnes), or ten armoured vehicles with
140 troops (up to 131 tonnes), or 8 armoured personnel carriers of total mass up to 115
tonnes, or 8 amphibious tanks or up to 500 troops (with 360 troops in the cargo compartment).
General characteristics:
Displacement: 340 tons (light)
415 tons (normal) 555 tons (full load)

Apple Watch newbie - Duration: 13:29.
Kate
What kind of pause is that?
In the end everything will be cut up, everything will be edited!
The Apple Watch has the option to
Track how you move, where you move and how much you move
Have you used this feature?
I really liked it because
They are very accurate at counting the number of steps you have taken
Compared to what?
Compared to my phone
That I always keep forgetting
Does your phone track your activity as well?
No, I mean, it just tracks the number of steps that you have taken
But way more accurately than your phone
That you don't always take around with you when you watch around the house, for example
But the watch– you always wear it
That way you get very exact results on how many calories you've burnt
Anything you are saying that I won't like, I'll cut it out
What?!
And when the watch told you to breathe, did you breathe?
I was one of those idiots that, yes, did breathe
I was at a meeting once
I remember it clearly
It was a very stressful meeting
The watch started vibrating
And it tells me to take a minute and breathe
And I was like "WHY NOT?"
And when the watch told you to stand up, did you?
Oh, that I always ignored!
Do you do sports or are you as lazy as I am?
I used the programme 7 minutes on the iPhone
It then started mirroring the exercises onto the watch
But it was terrible
My watch...
His watch...
It was terrible as they were lagging
They started beeping
And I was like, WHAT IS RIGHT?
Where is the image? What is it that I am supposed to do?
Super inconvenient
Next question
How do you like the weather?
Yeah, a few days ago I even got sunburnt
Did you watch your heartbeat on the watch?
Is it even necessary?
Yes
Very necessary?
I was happy to know
that you aren't dying
When I saw somebody
that I fancied
I would look at the watch and see the heartbeat increase
Did you control your music on the watch?
Did you adjust the volume with the digital crown?
Noo
Wow, you have some very hipster people around here
Almost as if I ended up at STRELKA BAR
Have you used Siri?
I actually used Siri on the watch way nore often than I do now on the iPhone
You have set your Siri to Russian, right?
Yes
She is dumb, isn't she?
No, actually the isn't that dumb
I would ask her to set a reminder for 8 o'clock tomorrow
And she would actually do it
Unlike my phone
Okay, I feel like I know the answer to this question, but
You have used the watch for messaging, right?
Yes
But I messed up several times
When I wrote gibberish to my colleague
He had not idea what I was saying
"I am writing to you from my watch, I'm sorry"
"You are writing what?"
"Wait wait"
You used Apple Pay
You had the 5th iPhone, right?
I had the iPhone 5S
It didn't have NFC
The first time I wanted to try this feature was at a McDonald's
And I was standing there like an idiot, placing my wrist at the check-out at the self-service machine
Nothing was happening
In the end I just used my card
to pay
Besides 7 minutes, have you used any other non-native apps?
I used Telegram
I don't think I used anything else
Have you used directions in maps?
No, of course
No, but, when you tell your watch that you want to get to Strelka Bar
As if you don't know how to get here
You just walk and with the help of haptic feedback they will be telling you to turn right or left just before you need to turn
The most important features for you were the reminders and the calendar
And you were turning the digital crown to see what is on your calendar in the future
Yes, the calendar was really important
As well as reminders
And notifications, of course
In the week and a half of wearing the apple watch
I have not missed a single important notification
You are saying everything correctly!
No, what are you talking about?
It's all scripted!
No, that's not true!
Because my phone is always in my pocket
For example, if I take it out right now
And I'll have missed notifications up
But with the watch every notification is a vibration
At some moment I got frustrated
But then I realised that it's for the better
But then you realised that you chose this life
Yeah
Your own fault
Yes
Something was always vibrating
But at least I didn't miss any notifications
So you didn't miss any notifications. You were always available
That's the most important aspect for me
Even if my phone is in another room
If someone is calling me– I always know that someone is calling me
If someone is messaging me– I always know that someone is messaging me
Maybe you'll have to cut it out, but
But I could be relieved
going to the toilet, knowing that as long as my wrist
wasn't vibrating, nothing urgent was going on
I won't cut it out
Damn it
Sometimes at work
Every minute is at stake
And I don't know if I will receive a super important notification on my phone or not
Or if I can just go out and have a cup of tea
What didn't you like?
Based on my experience, the apple watch is very slow
I have already shown it in one of my videos
How long they take to load. The circle just keeps spinning and spinning
And non-native apps a really slow
They are also slightly too think I feel like
I can't always get my hand to the bottom of my pocket!
The same with sweaters
That's just a minor flaw
Doing this all the time
Yes!
Even right now I can't get out my normal watch
But that's because I have three layers of clothes
But in reality, after my super slow iPhone 5S
The watch was just the fastest device that I've used in the past year and a half
But now, compared to my new phone
The watch was actually really slow
And I'm not sure I would be as patient now, as I was back then
Because then I knew that the phone would be slower
And I had to prioritise
But they are more convenient than getting your phone out
To just see who sent you a message
Actually, the MOST important benefit from the apple watch is
That they let you see everything
Not necessarily reacting to it
But seeing everything
And you feel the control you have over the situation
You are my person!
But... But... But!
There is a huge but
When you don't want to be in control of every notification
Like, you get it and you are tire of it
Yes, you can turn notifications off
But they still vibrate
You can't just have the watch and turn all notifications off
If it's just your iPhone, you can put it on the table and just move it away from you
And you'll be disconnected
But the watch is vibrating on your wrist
And unwillingly you check your notifications
And at some point during the evenings I would realise that
I keep looking at the watch every second
But that's because you are so popular!
But but but... Yeah
You wouldn't buy the apple watch, right?
Okay, for the Russian price
I would never buy the apple watch with the Russian pricing
Even the first series that costs around 19000 rubles
19! Exactly!
I was seriously considering buying the apple watch
In the Japanese apple store in Tokyo
As my friends were there at the moment
And got me my new phone there
But at the last moment I told my friend to just get the phone without the watch
Just because.... It's cheaper?
That's one thing!
About the watch... I just realised that
I don't need them to the extend of spending an extra 12000 rubles
That's the Japanese pricing
Next question: where are we going to eat?
Oh god, it's terrible!
Again!
We can never decide!
Strelka bar?
No? I mean, I've never eaten here
At the kiosk?
Yeah, I've tried the kiosk falafel
I want soup!

Which Potato Makes The BEST Battery? | Pocket Science - Duration: 7:26.
This episode was brought to you by SquareSpace.
Hi everyone and welcome to the very first episode of Pocket science, which is a new
series in which I do science experiments with things that fit in your pocket - and today
we're doing a potato battery.
I know it might sound like the most overdone science experiment, but it was inspired by
an excellent question that I heard at the end of one of Charlie McDonnell's talks, who
was like, pretty cool - so this kid put their hand up at the end and they asked him whether
potato batteries were a real thing and if so, which potato was the best battery.
No one had the answer but I know I wasn't alone in wondering which potato indeed would
be the best one - so this episode is to find that out!
[Intro by Caro Waro & Cristina de Manuel]
Right, so to make a potato battery, first of all, you're quite obviously going to need
a few potatoes.
I very quickly discovered that trying every single type of potato sold in British supermarkets
would A) be time-consuming, a slight waste of food and probably quite boring - so I've
stuck to two types - Jersey Royals and Tesco's Finest Red Potatoes.
There is no particular decision for this choice other than they were my favourite.
That being said, I've found a paper that claimed that boiled potatoes do better at being batteries
than raw potatoes, so I will be testing that as well.
Next up you're going to need material to turn the potatoes into batteries by creating an
anode and a cathode for which we have galvanised wire and copper - although you can use different
materials as well, but this is what I found at my local hardware store.
Next up you're going to want something to actually power your potatoes with, be that
an LED light, a buzzer, maybe a clock, but I actually want to quantify how well the potatoes
do, so instead I've got a voltmeter, or in this case, a multimeter, to test the voltage
of the potatoes.
Right, so we've got all our ingredients to make the potatoes so what we're going to do
now is build the battery and measure the voltage and the amperage, then we're going to boil
the potatoes and measure their voltage and the amperage again and see if there are any
significant differences!
So let's start simple with a Jersey Royal potato... first of all, we're going to need
to put in something made of copper, this is a pipe clip but it's going to work just as
fine, so pop that in...
Then same with the galvanised wire, shove that in as well.
And unbelievably, the battery is ready!! (victory noise) and we're going to test it with a voltmeter
and then we're going to boil it and compare the results.
Ok, so we now have our voltmeter... we're going to set it up, it's pretty straightforward.
Red goes in here *plugs in*, black goes in here *plugs in* and when I touch two things
with these pins it's going to measure the difference in potential, which is the voltage,
so for instance *puts pins on tongue* I'm super-charged!!
It's probably more sensible to actually test it with something such as a battery, which
has a known voltage and I can check that it's working just fine.
So now we're going to do this with our very special potato battery...
So the red goes on the copper (on the +/cathode), the black goes on the galvanised wire.
*eh* 0.16A And then we want to measure the voltage...
[spins from amperage to voltage].
It's going up.
I took the voltage and amperage for two jersey potatoes and began to suspect that the length
of the galvanised wire that was stuck in the potato might actually affect several of those
variables.
Oh dear...
I decided to measure a single red potato but I chose two distant points along the potato
to see if the distance between the wires would have an effect without using two potatoes.
I did notice that the further apart they were, the higher the resistance in the potato - so
let's see what happens when we boil these babies!
Whilst my potatoes are boiling I'm expecting that to be breaking down some of the compounds
inside the potato, meaning that the resistance between the anode and the cathode should go
down, so hopefully that means that the amperage should go up, because there'll be less resistance,
we can draw more power from the potatoes.
We will see by how much though...
Here are our beautiful, freshly boiled potatoes.
Hopefully the temperature won't affect them too much, they definitely feel very squishy.
So let's start with a small potato which will have cooled down a bit more, and for the moment
of truth...
Let's see if the amperage changes...
Ooh!
It does!
That's amazing!
That's loads more than it was before!
At this point, I decided to verify that indeed, the amount of wire in the potato had a significant
effect on amperage.
Woooooow!
The voltage on the other hand remained mostly unchanged after boiling, but here is a full
summary.
Cool!
So what have we learnt from this episode of Pocket science?
Well, I don't know about you but I've certainly learnt quite a lot about potato batteries
- for starters, it does seem that yes, boiling potatoes has a very striking effect on the
amperage, the amount of current you can draw from the potato - which makes sense because
as you're boiling the potato it's actually breaking down the compounds inside, so you'd
expect it to be easier for the electrolyte to transfer across.
The other thing is that the surface area of the anode and the cathode within the potato
(electrolyte) also affects both voltage and amperage which is to be expected and I feel
I probably should have controlled for that.
I feel it's easier with this pipe clip because of its shape, not so much for the wire, I
did not make any markings on it and it just kind of goes straight through the cooked potato.
However, to answer the key question, which potato is the best potato *drum roll please*
- well, out of this grand selection of two I have got to say Jersey Royal potatoes have
won by quite a way.
For starters, they are actually battery sized and they outperformed the red potatoes on
both voltage and amperage - so much for Tesco finest!
Although who knows, maybe the red potatoes could have benefitted from more cooking time.
That being said, feel free to test any other potato types to see if they fare better than
these.
I really hope you enjoy today's episode of Draw Curiosity - I learnt a lot from this,
and before you wander off I've got three bits of news:
Number one: Special message from the potatoes...
Red: Hey Jersey, whatcha up to?
You seem zoned out Jersey: No I'm not!
I'm squaaaare-spaced out Red: What does that mean?
Jersey: It means I'm building my own website so that other tubers can hire me and it's
so simple that even a potato like me can use it!
Red: That sounds really good actually, what should I do if I want a website like that too?
Jersey: Well!
I got mine for 10% off by going to squarespace.com/drawcuriosity and using the code 'DC' at check out
Red: Great!
Keep your eyes peeled for me because I'm coming!
Number two - it's not just me who's been playing with potatoes today, there've been
a lot of edutubers who've been working on their own potato batteries and looking at
other things about potatoes that you probably didn't even know you wanted to know - so go
check that out in the playlist linked above and finally, this is really random but right
now when you're watching this, I'm going to be in South Africa filming a science game
show for Discovery (!!!!). I'm appearing on one episode, still don't quite know what it's
going to be all about and I'm probably not going to be allowed to speak about it once
it's happened but I'm really excited for the trip and I'm going to start packing as soon
as I finish this.
So, I just wanted to let you know - and with all that being said, thank you so much for
watching me and I'll see you in the next one! Bye!

MAKEUP TUTORIAL: EVERYDAY TANGERINE SUNSET LOOK - Duration: 7:39.
Hey guys, it's Annika. Welcome to my "Channika."
So today I'm going to be doing a look
using the ColourPop Blow Me Away Palette.
This is from their Nectar Collection and I like,
when I saw this, I absolutely flipped my f-ing sh-.
Like, look at...look...
Look.
Me?
Anyways, I am not quite sure
-- I've done this look before --
and I'm not quite sure what to call it.
But I feel like it's a summer-y everyday look.
It's a very glowy look, and it's very peachy.
But it's definitely something that I would wear every day.
So, I don't know.
We'll see, we'll see.
You clicked on the video. You know what it's called. Whatever.
Let's get poppin.
Poppin. Okay.
So I'm going to be taking the ColourPop Blow Me Away Palette from their Nectar Collection.
And I'm going to be taking this shade,
which is called "Issues."
And I'm gonna be putting that,
Oh wait. I should prep my eyes first.
I always forget that.
I'm going to be priming my eyes using the Maybelline Master Prime.
I did my eyebrows before this video,
and I must say, they actually look like they're related today.
Usually, they're not twins,
they're not sisters,
they're not even friends.
They're just acquaintances.
But today, I think that they're actually twins.
That might be a stretch.
They're at least fraternal twins.
Like, they have some similar qualities,
but they don't exactly look the same.
But, yeah, I think they're closer than they usually are.
Okay, now I'm going to be taking "Issues,"
and I'm going to be putting that into my crease
to set down the eye primer,
but also as a transition shade.
Then I'm going to be taking the e.l.f Duo
in the shade "Peach Squad."
It has a matte, kind of, peach color.
And then it has a metallic dark-ish gold color.
Full disclosure: This was sent to me.
But this is my first time trying it out,
so I'll give you my honest opinion.
I'm going to be using this to deepen the crease,
and also kind of prep the outer corner
for the next color that we're gonna put in.
First impression: It does blend nicely.
Of course, it is a light color,
so I feel like it would be hard for it to blend not nicely.
I don't know. There's not much to say about it.
It's a nice little duo.
I'm gonna try out this lid color on my lid.
But I don't know. For now I like it.
Nothing special, but...
Now I'm going to be taking this last shade
in the Blow Me Away Palette
and it's called "Slim Fit."
And I'm going to be using that in the outer corner.
Woo-hoo! GOTTEM
Eww.
And then I'm going to be taking this Morphe b16 brush,
which is a very, very, very, very, very, teeny, tiny little smudge brush.
And I'm going to be taking that metallic shade
in the Peach Squad Duo.
And then I'm going to be spraying it with the Mario Badescu Rose Water.
Because I'm boujee.
And then I'm just gonna make sure
that it blends nicely into the crease.
Okay, yeah. I actually really like that.
I like the Peach Squad Duo.
I love ColourPop shadows. I already knew that.
The blendability was amazing,
but I love the combination of colors.
I also love how simple it is.
Like, you can just follow the steps
and then you're f-in done. And I don't know.
It's just very foolproof.
Now I'm gonna prime my face
and I'm going to be using the Milani Prime Light Primer.
I haven't tried this before,
but it's supposed to strobe and minimize your pores.
My hair.
Everybody always comments, yelling at me saying,
"Annika, you need to put your hair back
when you're doing your makeup.
It's so annoying.
You're always playing with your hair!"
I don't put my hair back,
because I hate the way that my hair looks when it's back.
And I'm putting this on the Internet
for the world to see.
I don't want to have like...
When he nuts.
F- that was way too much!
I don't know what to do with that.
Oh well.
Okay. So from far away, it does look a little bit strobing.
Oh f--!
Jesus.
No.
Oh my god, it's filled with glitter.
[groans]
Okay.
I really hope that it gets covered.
Like, the glitter gets covered.
But, you know what? We'll have to see.
I'll be using the L'Oreal Total Cover Foundation.
I just don't like sparkles on my face.
I'm fine with strobing, but...
I love this foundation so much.
Honestly, I feel like this foundation will cover anything,
because it's just so...
SO, full coverage.
Like, girl.
Okay. Lit. Squad. Fam.
Now I'm going to use the Kat von D Lock-it Concealer,
which looks like this.
I'm almost out of this.
I'm freaking.
I love this concealer so much.
I really don't want to have to buy another one,
because it's so expensive.
Okay. Now I'm gonna be setting my face
using the Rimmel Stay Matte Powder.
I'm gonna be curling my eyelashes using the Shiseido whatever the f--.
Unh...
Oh f--, my thumb is stuck!
And then I'm gonna be using the Lancome Hypnose Drama Mascara.
This actually, like the first time I tried it,
I was on camera,
and I was like, "Yeah, it's pretty good.
It's just like, you might not want to pay that much for mascara."
But this has officially become my favorite mascara,
and that's saying a lot,
because I have a lot of mascaras.
But honestly, I just...what can I say?
I'm a high-end motherf-er.
Wow. Eleven minutes of sheer pain.
Oh, should I do a lower lash line?
I should do my lower lash line.
I'm going to take my morphe e36.
If I could find it.
Wait, what?
Ah, found it.
And I'm going to be taking...
I'm going to be taking that Peach Squad Duo
that we took before.
Taking that matte pink and putting it,
smudging it along the lower lash line.
This is really simple, everyday,
pink eye.
Do you ever just want to be YazOnline?
She is so pretty.
Gorgeous.
Absolutely f-ing beautiful.
I don't... I honestly...like, I don't...
I can't understand it.
Alright!
Alright!
I'm going to take the Physicians Formula Butter Bronzer
on my e.l.f. blending brush.
I'm going to be taking the butter bronzer...
What I love about this contour brush
is that you can contour really fast,
and then you can blend it all out.
Like, contour using that,
and then blend, like...
I don't know.
Nevermind.
I revoke my comment.
It's like, you can contour vertically like that,
and then you can turn it,
and then you can blend.
I don't know.
That's what I like about it.
Then, for blush, I'm gonna be using the Maybelline...
not...
Nope!
I'm gonna be using the Too Faced Love Flush Blush
in the shade "Baby Love."
But I can't open it.
Okay, this isn't gonna open.
Sometimes it opens, sometimes it doesn't.
I'm going to be using the Tarte Exposed Blush.
And then for glow, I'm really excited.
I feel like this glow is gonna look so good with this look.
This is the Tarte Stunner Highlighter.
It's f-ed.
Like, mine is f-ed because it broke
and I had to re-press it.
But I love this highlighter so...
Like, do you see that?
I'm gonna nut.
Tarte highlighters are always so f-ing intense.
And I...I...I...I...I...I can't.
And then the last step is lips.
I'm going to be lining my lips
using the Maybelline Color Sensational Shaping Lip Liner
in the shade "Purely Nude."
I love these lip liners.
They're so creamy.
And they're very, very pigmented.
Like, here's just one.
Rundown.
Like, uhh. I love it.
And I love this color.
And then for lipstick,
I'm going to be taking one of these Cailyn lipsticks.
I got one of these in my ipsy bag
and ever since, I've been absolutely obsessed.
I love these lipsticks
because they never f-ing come off.
And so they were really kind
as to send me three of their...
like, one of their trios.
And I'm going to be taking this lightest one,
which is in the shade 5.
What I love about this color
is that it really matches the shade of my lips.
But it makes my lips look
even better than they actually are.
When you put them on your lips,
they kind of feel liquid-y.
But then when they dry down, it's super matte.
Super gorgeous.
I love these lipsticks.
And then finally,
I'm gonna put on the Milani Make It Last Setting Spray.
And, yeah. That's the final look.
So, if you enjoyed this summer-y, everyday,
sunset, peachy look,
give it a thumbs up.
If you didn't like it,
still give it a thumbs up because...
Yeah. Please comment, rate, subscribe, and
keep on
peachin!

We Need To Talk About Toxic People - Duration: 8:10.
Hey everyone, this is Adam and I want to talk to you today about something that's
been very near and dear to my heart the past couple of weeks and that's
this idea that we can and should and must cut toxic people out of our
lives. I don't know where this idea really came from, I've been seeing it all
over the place -- on relationship blogs, on Twitter, coming from the spiritual
community, coming from the dating coach community, coming from everyone you could
possibly imagine -- this notion that the toxic people in our lives are
causing our problems and that the only real solution is to dismiss them out of
hand. And I think that this idea is really, really short-sighted. I wrote a
blog about it a couple months ago, it's called "There's No Such Thing As A Toxic
Person" and it covers a lot of these same points, but I want to reinforce this here
now that that really-- you know, the act of dismissing someone and distancing
ourselves from someone and you know kind of removing ourselves from a situation
that is uncomfortable and that is possibly unhealthy for us to remain in long-term,
there's nothing necessarily wrong about that, but -- and this is a big
but -- we need to make sure that we-- that we're doing-- that if if we are to make
this choice for ourselves and if we are to make this choice for who the other
people in our lives are going to be, then we need to make sure that the intention
and that the inspiring thought with which we're going about that decision is
the right one, and here's where I think the common refrain and the common
advice really falls short because basically the attitude is these people
are too messed up for us to remain in their vicinity, they have no
redeeming qualities to give us, they have no chance of redeeming themselves from
their-- from their toxicity, they're just so-- they're so outside the realm of human
discourse and human relationship that they don't deserve any more of our time,
energy, or attention. And in case it's not clear this really, really judges these
other people it really, really puts them down. It kind of makes us the authority
over who they are and what's possible for their lives and kind of the
potential that they have. And even if... even if these people-- these kinds of
people and the behaviors that they exhibit really are uncomfortable
for us and are unproductive for kind of an easeful, free-flowing relationship, we
don't do ourselves any favors by dismissing them from this mindset of
"they're not enough," from this lack mindset of "they don't deserve us" or "they
don't deserve our time." It puts us in a position of being better than them, of
superiority, and this is really kind of a small-minded attitude masquerading as
high-minded advice, where we think that we are doing something evolved or
we think that we're doing something ascended but what we're really doing is
we're withholding love. We're withholding love not only from the other person but
we're withholding love from ourselves. And we're saying that we can't-- we
can't be in their presence. And that's... that's not a place that I think we
really want to be in, that's not a place that I really think we want to act from.
It denies our power in the situation, it kind of keeps us in a victim mindset
where they're determining the rules of engagement
even if ostensibly we're taking action for ourselves. If we're doing it from the
place of we can't get what we want with this other person, that's victim. That's
victim mindset. And that really has no place in a spiritual conversation, it
has no place in a kind of healthy relationship conversation. So to kind
of summarize all of what I've been saying, dismissing someone from
victim mindset really disempowers us in these situations. And so what is the way
to empower ourselves with someone who we think is toxic or when we are faced with
behavior that we think is toxic? We ask ourselves, have we done everything within
our power to make ourselves feel good about this situation regardless of what
they're doing? Or have we empowered ourselves to really learn how to respond
and relate to someone who may be treating us in a way that is
uncomfortable or that is strenuous or that is -- you know whatever it is that
feeling that we're labeling as toxic, that we're judging a toxic --
have we really done everything that we know how to do to
improve and to make ourselves feel better about the situation? You know
the true high-minded perspective here, and the true ascended, evolved,
spiritual perspective here, is the recognition that we as people who are
seeking to grow and are seeking to learn, we are the ones who who really need to
be able to operate in these spaces that are difficult, who really need to be able
to use these relationships, and to be able to see these situations not as
adversity or not as self-deprivation, but as opportunity and as opportunity for
growth, opportunity for learning, opportunity to really face our fears
and not pretend like we can't get what we want, and that's too
bad, and we have to move on to go find a place and a person that we can get
that with. We need to be the embodiment of the principles that we really talk
about, and that we really speak about, and that we really advocate, and that we
really try and demonstrate. And the best way to do that is by living that example.
And I think a good example of doing just that is being able to be in the spaces
that make us most uncomfortable and to not recoil from them, and to not run away
from them, and to really-- you know if at the end of the day, we ultimately learn or
we ultimately decide that it is in our best interest, and in the other
person's best interest, to set the ultimate boundary and to say "no more" --
that we've learned all that we could in the meantime, and that
we've treated this person with respect, despite what we think their shortcomings
may be, and then we make the decision from an empowered place to say, I'm
giving myself love and thereby I'm giving you love, not in judgment as I say
goodbye, but as a blessing and to say, I bless you and your continued growth and
healing, I bless myself and my continued growth and healing, and I'm
just going to kind of take things for what they are and see things at face
value, and know that we're not aligned here and we're not a match here and
leave it at that. Leave the judgment, leave the toxic shaming out of
it and just, kind of, even if we don't say it to their
face, the way that-- the energy with which we make that decision is one of
thank you for being in my life, I wish you well, I'm going to go do my own thing.
The last thing I want to say here, is it may seem like I'm splitting hairs or it
may seem like the intent with which we act towards other people and towards
ourselves doesn't really matter, but I think it matters a great deal. I think
it's the thing that matters most. You know our inspiring thoughts, the
motivations for our outward words and actions, are the things that most
determine our experience of our reality -- how we feel about our lives and the
other people in them. And so we really can't diminish, or we really can't downplay
the effect-- the long-lasting effect that this perspective and
reorienting this perspective, shifting it, really has for us and the outcomes that
we really seek for ourselves in terms of seeking happiness, joy, and peace with
other people. Because the truth is, if we never learn to kind of be the embodiment
of the principles that we've talked about and to give love in every
situation, if we dismiss the person out of judgment, we'll find other similar
people who we think are quote unquote "toxic" in the future and we still won't
know how to deal with them, and we still won't know how to relate to
them, and we'll be perpetuating this cycle of lack and disappointment
on and on and on, and we'll stay stuck. That's the whole point. We're withholding
love for ourselves when we act like this, and it's time for us to think about it
a little differently.

Fmr. Ohio Medicaid Director Warns Against Deceptive Rx Issue - Duration: 0:31.
I'm Barbara Edwards. I served as Ohio's Medicaid director for eight years and I
have closely examined the November ballot issue on prescription drugs. This
dangerous proposal won't reduce drug costs for Medicaid and other state
programs. In fact, I believe it will increase health care costs for millions
of Ohioans, and make it harder for vulnerable families to access their
medications. If you're worried about the cost of prescription drugs join me in
saying no to this deceptive ballot issue.

I've Been Sued For Fraud, Should I Let Them Take A Default Judgment And Then File For Bankruptcy? - Duration: 2:30.
I got sued for fraud in state court, but I'm going to have to file bankruptcy anyway.
Should I just go ahead and let him take a judgment against me in the state court and
then litigate those issues in bankruptcy court?
My name is Ron Drescher.
I'm an attorney practicing bankruptcy and creditor's rights in Maryland, Delaware, Pennsylvania
and Virginia, and please do not do that.
Do not let your creditors get a judgment for fraud against you even if it's a default judgment
in state court because in many states, including Maryland, they consider that the fraud judgment
is binding against other courts that are going to consider the same conduct, and that's a
disaster for you because then you don't even get to have your day in court in bankruptcy
court to say well, judge, really I didn't commit fraud for all of these different reasons.
What you need to do is you need to either defend that fraud case in the state court
and try to win it, or you need to file the bankruptcy before they enter a judgment in
the state court, and then litigate that matter in the bankruptcy court.
Now, what could happen is if you've gone far enough in the state court litigation before
you file the bankruptcy, the bankruptcy court might say you know what?
You're almost done in state court; I'm sending you back to state court to finish up what
they did there, and whatever decision they make in state court, I'm going to accept as
binding here, and that might mean you don't get a discharge of that debt because the state
court said you committed fraud.
That's why if you're going to file the bankruptcy and you want it litigated in bankruptcy court,
you ought to file the bankruptcy right away and not let the state court proceeding go
beyond the point of no return.
My name is Ron Drescher.
I'm an attorney practicing bankruptcy and creditor's rights.
If you've been sued for fraud, please pick up the phone and call me because I'd love
to hear from you and see if I can help you make the right decision.

Let me take you directly to the place where I have put my tiny tent.
You can see there are a lot of people in the background.
They all came his morning.
They are pitching their tents.
See...
It's a Friday.
People have got some time for the weekend to do some things.
Oh, you have a bathroom with hot shower.
You have a kitchen.
You have everything you need.
I feel you ever happen to come here, I really recommend this place.
