Youtube daily report w Jun 7 2017

The US Navy accepted delivery of the USS Gerald R. Ford on May 31st.

Ford class super-carriers are being built to replace some of the United States Navy's

existing Nimitz-class carriers from 2017.

Nimitz class carriers have been one of the most important assets of the US armed forces,

and have enabled power projection far off from the US homeland.

The Nimitz design has accommodated many new technologies over the decades, but its ability

to accept the most recent technical advances is limited.

Major limitations include limited electrical power generation.

The ships of Ford class are expected to be in service with the US Navy till 2065.

The first ship of this class is USS Gerald R. Ford.

Like all the Nimitz class carriers, the USS Gerald R. Ford is also build in Newport News Shipbuilding.

It costs around $12.8 billion.

In this video we will look into the 5 definitive reasons, why Russia and China should fear it ?

Nimitz-class carriers got planes moving for takeoff using steam-actuated catapults.

The system required a lot of steam piping, a large condensate return, and tons of fresh water.

They tend to have a lot of maintenance issues.

Plus, with steam-actuation, the majority of the force is being transferred to the airplane

at the beginning of the stroke—in a jolt.

This puts stress on an airframe, and thus reduces lifespan of the multi-million dollar plans.

Ford class uses Electromagnetic Aircraft Launch System (EMALS).

The system uses linear induction motor with an electric current to generate a magnetic feild.

That field then propels a carriage down a track.

Since the power delivery is linear, it negates the deficiencies of steam catapult.

The hydraulic arresting system is installed in Nimitz class.

Hydraulic arresting system is designed for traditional carrier based aircrafts.

Advanced Arresting Gear (AAG) is capable of working with all current and projected future

carrier-based aircraft, from the lightest unmanned aerial vehicles to the heaviest manned

fighters and are more efficient.

It is to be noted here that Russia and China, are still using using ski jump, which are

generation behind steam-actuated catapults of Nimitz class, and two generation behind

EMALS of Ford class.

Also no Russian or Chinese carrier is expected to field AAG in near future, limiting their

ability to field futuristic Unmanned Combat Air Vehicle (UCAV).

Ford class has newly designed reactors.

2 Bechtel A1B nuclear reactors are installed on USS Gerald R. Ford.

Each one these are capable of producing 300 MW of electricity, triple the 100 MW of each Nimitz-class.

The huge power supply provides for the legroom, required for future expansions like inducting

Lasers and Rail Guns.

Also, compared to the Nimitz-class reactor, the Ford reactor have about half as many valves,

piping, major pumps, condensers, and generators which reduced maintenance cost and lower space requirements.

Being nuclear powered, they practically have unlimited range and need refueling once in

about 20 years.

It must be noted that, neither Russia nor China currently has any nuclear powered carrier,

and may require at least a decade before they will have one.

The technological gap in this regard is huge.

USS Gerald R. Ford has an integrated Active Electronically Scanned Array (AESA) search

and tracking radar system.

The dual-band radar (DBR) utilizes a multi tier, dual-band tracker, which consists of

a local X band tracker, a local S band tracker, and a central tracker.

The central tracker merges the two signals to provide a comprehensive situational awareness.

The X band tracker is optimized for low latency to support its mission of providing defense

against fast, low-flying missiles, while the S band tracker is optimized for

large area coverage.

This new system has no moving parts, therefore minimizes maintenance & manning requirements.

Also, replacing 6 to10 radar antennas with a single 6-faced radar increases the deck spaced.

Russia or China doesn't have anything close to being as sophisticated as this radar.

USS Gerald R. Ford implements high levels of automation, which gives it, increased capability

with reduced crew.

Automation has been implemented wherever possible.

Ford-class carrier has 25% less crew compared to Nimitz class.

This will result in the vessel being much more efficient, and also reduce faults due

to human error.

The Ford class also has a newly designed deck, which provides more space for flight operations.

It has 3 aircraft elevators instead of 4 in Nimitz.

These 3 are much more advanced than the 4 in Nimitz.

The result of Automation & superior elevators is impressive.

Ford class is capable of generating 30 % more sorties (flight missions) per day than Nimitz‐class.

The carrier carries 75+ aircrafts, a 30% increase results in massive gains, since the offensive

as well as defensive capabilities of the carrier gets a major lift.

Also, eliminating 1 of the elevators further increased the ship's capabilities by leaving

room for other things like having dedicated helicopter-landing pad.

Initially the Ford class will have 2 squadrons of 10 to 12 F-35C Joint Strike Fighters, 2

squadrons of 10 to 12 F/A-18E/F Super Hornets, 5 EA-18G Growler electronic attack jets, 4

E-2D Hawkeye airborne early-warning and control aircraft, and 2 C-2 Greyhound carrier onboard

delivery (COD) planes.

It will carry 8 MH-60S Seahawk helicopters as well.

But the Ford class carriers have also been envisaged to be future proof.

Keeping this in view, special attention has been given to increase deck space and power.

These two factors come together to enable Ford class to accommodate two game changing

technologies in coming days:

1. Lasers: Recently the US Navy has tested a $40 million, 30-kilowatt laser mounted on

the deck of the USS Ponce in the Persian Gulf.

Unlike missiles, lasers travel at the speed of light, so they hit their target almost

instantaneously.

Not only can they take out a swarm of deadly drones, they can act as a missile defense system.

2. Rail Gun: The US Navy recently test fired a railgun.

Railguns use electromagnetic energy to fire projectiles at 7 to 9 times the speed of sound.

There is no way to defend against these shots.

Russia & China are far off from incorporating this technology in their vessels.

What's wrong?

Why did you want to go your reunion?

You've never participated before.

Mom...

Tell me what it is.

I knew you were troubled.

But even if I asked,

you wouldn't have talked.

I thought I'd make it if I tried harder...

There's not much I can do,

but I can at least pay for Kota's tuition.

I'm coming in.

We'll leave tonight.

What's wrong?

You don't need money for me.

I'm not going to college.

Don't decide for me.

Kota...

I'll tell you why I came.

I thought you wouldn't return.

Me?

Work isn't good so...

maybe you wanted to die.

But actually,

you came to borrow money.

How stupid.

The reunion's an excuse!

You've got it all wrong.

Then what is it?

Kurata? Hey!

Kashiwara?

Nice to see you!

Same here!

I had a feeling you'd come.

Kashiwara...

didn't you plan it?

Yeah, but I didn't do much.

You want a ride?

No, I'm okay with this.

You can leave it there.

You haven't changed a bit.

What do you mean? I'm old now!

I'll see you there.

Bye for now!

- Remember me? - Yes.

Mizue...Nose.

That's right!

And you're...Aki Kurata.

What about me?

This is Eriko Togami!

Togami! That's right!

You've grown up splendidly!

What a smooth talker.

Everyone's still the same.

Happy?

- Very happy! - Of course!

- Don't worry, I'll be back. - Sensei!

This is my grandson.

Sensei! Have a seat.

You're all older, but still the same.

Cheers!

Hey, come here a minute.

Let's look for a guy since we're here!

Why not?

Aki and I are both single... Huh? What is it?

Hell no.

Can't you feel the love?

Oh, but...

No way. I can't.

But you know,

today is an escape from reality.

Feels as if the future's still bright.

If my past self saw me now, I'd be mad at the joke I've become.

Still, I would probably choose to go down the same path.

Becoming an adult doesn't mean to change,

it means to accept that you won't change.

Just kidding! I sounded so cool.

Drink up, man!

This is good!

- Delicious, right? - Yeah, it's tasty.

All fixed now.

Thanks. This is for you.

Hey...

What's with the guitar?

I've been practicing forever.

What? For decades?

Yeah. I can finally play for everyone.

That's why I planned a reunion.

At this age, I've been thinking more about unfinished business.

I get it.

You do?

I have my own.

Oh yeah? Like what?

Well...

Aki!

You first. Your seat number was before mine.

We're not in school anymore...

You know,

I need to apologize to you.

To me?

When we went on the class trip,

Fujisawa wanted me to sing "WAKAREUTA"

because he heard your request on the radio.

The next request is from Miss Red Bridge Love.

No matter who you liked,

he wanted to share his feelings.

He never told me his address or anything.

Fujisawa knew...

that he would never see everyone again.

Yeah.

He didn't even confess to you.

I was such a coward.

I never told you.

What?

I never told you that I liked you.

Why are you telling me this now?

Actually,

I had a feeling you had a crush on me.

Even now, I wish we dated.

It's an old man's selfish wish.

I have something that I want to tell you, too.

Ah, I can't.

What is it? You've piqued my curiosity.

I never say what I feel at the most vital times.

I hated that part of me,

but sometimes it's good to say nothing.

I mean,

sometimes things are better left unfinished.

We learn that as adults.

Don't be so mature.

Well, we are adults, aren't we?

No, we're still growing.

Here.

I called out his name.

I said it secretly so he couldn't hear my love.

But, we'll be graduating in a little over a year.

I need to tell him how I feel.

The end of love is only beautiful for those who leave,

but I must say my feelings.

I'd be mad in the future if I don't.

Please play Miyuki Nakajima's "WAKAREUTA."

From pen name,

Miss Red Bridge Love.

I regret not being able to play guitar back then.

During the class trip?

I've practiced since,

and I can play for you now.

- You're late! - 38 years late!

Here I go!

It's Miss Red Bridge Love's request.

「わかれうた」前編【ネスレシアター】 - Duration: 12:06.

I strolled out of the salon,

and it was pouring!

I had to keep my hair dry,

so I used a five-person umbrella to save it!

It was all to protect my hair!

Next, we have a letter from...

a second-year high schooler.

That must mean they're 17 years old.

I'm so jealous!

Let's read.

You're still awake?

The radio again?

What are you listening to?

You wouldn't understand.

Have you packed yet?

You better not be late...

I'm doing it now, okay?

Good night!

Night.

The next request is

from Miss Red Bridge Love.

What a romantic pen name!

- Kashiwara! - Huh?

- Come here! - Okay.

I'll be back.

Sorry, can I sit?

- Sorry! - Let's go.

Hey, Aki.

You're Miss Red Bridge Love, aren't you?

You don't have to hide it! So...who is it?

I'm only telling you two.

You should confess on the trip!

Sneak out at night...

He'd definitely say no!

Then why confess at all?

If I don't say how I feel before we split up,

I'd regret...don't tell anyone this!

Don't worry,

- Miss Red Bridge Love! - Shh!

There's no need to panic. No one knows your pen name.

Well, actually...

So what have we here?

- "Miss Red Bridge Love?" - Give it back!

Are you sending this to a radio show, Kurata?

Is this a puberty question?

"How can I make my crush notice me?"

Cut it out already!

What a lame pen name.

Fujisawa, of all people...

What if he heard the radio?

Everyone on the trip will know.

Don't worry! He's not here.

Huh?

He caught a cold.

What a relief!

What goes around comes around...

Is Kashiwara "twilight" in the song?

No! His guitar...

Oh, you think he's gonna play us something?

A guitar on the class trip...

It's kind of lame, huh?

The next request is from Miss Red Bridge Love.

Once on a bridge at twilight,

I called out his name.

I said it secretly so he couldn't hear my love.

But, we'll be graduating in a little over a year.

I need to tell him how I feel.

The end of love is only beautiful for those who leave.

WAKAREUTA ~ my precious memories ~

But I must say my feelings.

I'd be mad in the future if I don't.

Please play Miyuki Nakajima's "WAKAREUTA."

From pen name, Miss Red Bridge Love.

We're here.

Oh, are we?

I briefly forgot where we were.

Thinking about the reunion?

Aki!

Oh my goodness!

Eriko?

I thought you wouldn't show up!

I'm so glad we asked your mom!

Have you been busy with work?

Well, I am a single mother. You?

Still single and teaching classical literature at a third-rate college.

- Third-rate? - You're doing fine, Mizue.

I've got five kids to feed so I cook all day.

Is your son in high school?

Kota.

Second.

So you're testing soon?

- No. - What?

You're not?

No...

We had our class trip second year.

Aki, on our trip,

remember your tragic heartbreak?!

Oh, stop it!

How's school?

Are you in any clubs?

Your mom was one of the best runners on the track team.

Here.

Weren't you third in the prefectural race?

That was middle school.

I was terrible in high school so I quit.

Oh, is that so?

I only remember the good stuff.

Oh?

There's a futon in your mom's room.

Kota?

You didn't even thank Grandma for dinner.

Why did you want to come along?

Being in this room brings back so many memories!

My old cassettes...

They're all rusted.

Why was it tragic?

Oh, my tragic heartbreak?

It's a secret.

That's stupid.

Hey Aki,

come over here.

What is it?

Tonight's your last chance.

- Yeah I know... - Know what?

Just tell me! Sheesh...

Tell us who it is already!

Come in!

But I have a guess.

Um...

can you all come to our room?

- What? - Shall we go?

It's only Class 3.

Oh, you're right.

Other classes get out!

What's going on?

I wonder.

Everyone's here.

- It's crowded. - Can we fit?

It's packed in here!

Can we sit here?

Attention, please.

This guitar...

is Fujisawa's.

Why do you have it?

Fujisawa...

I've had it before the trip.

He...

quit school.

- Why? - Is he okay?

What do you mean? That's so sudden.

Things happened.

What's that mean?

Like trouble at home?

I noticed he never ate...

You want some of my lunch?

No, I'm on a diet.

Seriously?

He should've told us.

Instead of saying bye,

he told me to play "WAKAREUTA."

But, I can't play the guitar.

Yeah.

So I just brought his guitar along.

What the heck.

That's cold.

He only told Kashiwara.

I don't get him at all.

He's a kid, especially around girls. Right, Kurata?

Huh? What do you mean?

Didn't Fujisawa like you?

No way...

He teased you out of love. Right, Kashiwara?

What?

- Oh yeah, I guess so. - See?

Kurata,

you should give him a call.

- But I... - Call him.

He'd be really happy if you did.

Okay. I will.

Actually...

I do, too.

I like...

Fujisawa.

- They both like each other! - Perfect!

UK General Election 2017: 12 Reasons Not to Vote Tory - Duration: 6:20.

The UK just bloody loves voting.

Seriously, we've had a big vote about something or other every year since 2014.

There was the Scottish referendum, followed by the 2015 general election, followed by

the referendum on leaving the European Union, and now this ruddy thing.

"What?

Another one?"Yes, another one.

Don't get me wrong.

As Emperor Palpatine once said, "I love democracy" — and I encourage absolutely

everyone who is able to vote to do so.

However, in my humble opinion, there is one party who you should definitely not vote for.

These guys.

Full disclosure: I'll be voting Labour.

Why?*12 Reasons Not to Vote Tory*1) Theresa May refuses to debate people.

She skipped the televised BBC debates and — according to veteran journalist Owen Jones

— is now refusing all media contact.

This is worrying because Theresa May was the very person who called this election.

Now, she's acting like she wants absolutely no part of it.

She says she's not focusing on the debates because she's focusing on negotiating Brexit.

But if she really felt that way, if she really does worry that Labour will deliver a bad

Brexit, then she shouldn't have called the bally election in the first place, should

she?2) Speaking of which, Theresa May called this election after explicitly saying (three

times) that she wouldn't call one until 2020.

She says she's called this one because she wants a stronger hand to negotiate Brexit,

but that raises another problem…

3) …If she's so great at negotiating, why is she refusing media contact and televised

debates?

A huge part of negotiating a huge deal like Brexit is, you know, talking to people.

May doesn't seem to want to do that.4) Police cuts.

The police have warned Theresa May (who was the Home Secretary from the time the Tories

took power to when she became Prime Minister) that there haven't been enough policemen

on the streets for years.

Some police officials have even claimed that the Manchester and London attacks can be at

least partly attributed to these cuts.

5) Of course, it's not just police.

Doctors claim that the NHS is chronically underfunded.

Yes, the government has increased spending, but pretty much every major medical body says

that this spending is not enough because — get this — it's not enough.

Junior doctors are going on strike, A&E waiting times are getting longer, hospitals are closing,

nursing bursaries have been cut, services have been cut — the list goes on and on

and on.

6) And, of course, it's not just the police and the NHS.

The education system is chronically underfunded with classroom sizes getting larger, teachers

under immense amount of stress, and the cost of university continuing to rise.7) And, of

course, it's not just the police, the NHS, and the education system — pretty much every

government body — even the Health and Safety Executive — is under strain because of an

austerity program which was introduced to tackle a recession.

A recession which happened nearly a decade ago.

So long ago, in fact, YouTube looked like this.8) Speaking of the recession, the defence

behind the Tories long and drawn out austerity program was that Labour's spending during

their government had increased the deficit and that it was this which lead to the recession.

Nearly a decade later, we know that this is just isn't true.

The recession was caused by an economic collapse which started in when US banks starting spending

money which didn't exist and spread to every country with economies connected to the US's.

In short, it affected every single economically developed nation in the world regardless of

the sizes of their national debt.

True, the recession did hit Greece particularly hard and — true — this was because Greece

had an enormous public debt. However, to compare Greece's public debt in 2010 to the UK's

public debt under Labour is ridiculous.

9) But it gets even more ridiculous.

Because despite the government's near decade-long austerity program, the national debt has gone

up — not down.

They have missed both the targets that they themselves have made for reducing the national

debt.10) This is especially frustrating because the Tories number one criticism of Labour

is that they can't be trusted with the economy.

Yes, we've all heard that Dianne Abbot interview and all pretty much Labour voters know that

the woman needs a calculator and constant supervision at all times.

At all times Dianne.

Yet, the fact is, Labour's manifesto is costed and the Tories' manifesto is not.

Economists have critiqued Labour's manifesto — some agree with the figures and some don't

— but we can't even begin to have the same debate about the Tories' manifesto

because — well — they don't have any figures.11) While we're on the topic of

hypocrisy, there is a prevailing idea that Jeremy Corbyn is a terrorist sympathiser because

of this photo with him being pally with an IRA leader.

But many British leaders — including Thatcher — met with the IRA before 1998.

The end result was the Good Friday agreement.

In short, Jeremy Corbyn is not a terrorist sympathiser.

In fact, in 2013, the man won a Gandhi Peace Prize for his work in the promotion of peace.Theresa

May (on the other hand) will not be winning a Gandhi Peace Prize for her dealings with

Saudi Arabia.

Thanks to Theresa May, the UK is now the second largest arms dealer in the world and the vast

majority of those arms are sold to Middle Eastern countries with a history of assisting

ISIS, Al-Quaeda, and the Taliban.

Whether or not any of the countries that the UK have sold weapons to have directly funded

ISIS is unclear — However, what we do know is that Saudi Arabia are most definitely bombing

the crap out of innocent civilians in Yemen with weapons which we have supplied them.12)

Then there's the "War of Terror" in general.

Yes, this was a war which Labour got us into, but the Tories have supported it at every

turn and have helped to fuel even further by involving the UK in the immensely tragic

and complicated Syrian civil war.Jeremy Corbyn is the first major politician to point out

that — while everyone agrees the terrorists who attack the UK or try to create their own

caliphate in Syria and Iraq by beheading people are absolute bastards — the "War on Terror"

has done nothing to reduce the amount of Islamic Extremism abroad or in the UK itself.Rather,

it's helped to strengthen it.

This is the opinion of many leading military figures.

By involving ourselves with a US-led coalition which has — sadly — killed many civilians

while targeting ISIS, we haven't made the UK any safer.

If anything, we've made it less safe.If you plan on voting Tory this election, let

me know why in the comments below so we can talk about it.

However, let me be abundantly clear, my aim is to convince you to vote otherwise.I'll

be voting Labour, but to everyone else I say — anyone but the Tories. Thanks for watching.

Patriotic Voss Vase - Duration: 4:37.

These Voss water bottles are so cool, because the glass is really nice.

So, it's a phenomenal way to upcycle.

So, what I'm going to do is just put the bottle aside.

And what I did here is I just wrapped, you can see here where I glued the fabric around

the bottle.

And then once that's glued on, then what I'm going to do is take these little stars I just

basically cut off of a garland.

And I'm just going to use a glue dot and just put those, and I've already put the other

two on here.

I'm just going to glue that star right there with a glue dot.

I actually tried using a glue gun, but don't, because they melt.

The next thing I'm going to do is make a cute little bow.

So, I'm going to take my Bowdabra Bow Wire, fold it in half and lay that down into the

Bowdabra and kind of tuck the ends underneath.

Then I'm just going to take this piece of organza ribbon, and I'm pretty much going

to fold it in half and just lay that into my Bowdabra.

Then I'm going to take this awesome fabric, and we used -- you can use Fray Check or a

lighter to just fix the ends so they don't fray.

And again, I have another piece of fabric here that matches the fabric I used to cover

the bottle.

Then this piece of red tulle, I'm just going to scrunch this all down in here.

And then I'm going to take my Bowdabra wand and just scrunch all that.

And take my wire, and again, I have a slip knot, pull it through.

Hold the bow down while it's still in the Bowdabra, pull it out, separate the ends,

bring it around to the back.

And I'm going to just -- I think I'm just going to tie it off.

Make sure I get my fabric so it doesn't get caught in the back here.

And I'm just going to knot it, clip the ends and take a little bit -- I'm just going to

fluff everything out here and take a little bit of glue and put that right on here.

And glue by bow.

These are just going to dangle down.

The next step I have to do, I'm going to open my bottle, take my funnel, take some sand,

and I'm just going to clip the end.

That way -- whoops -- I think that way it easily pours into my bottle.

The sand's going to be used to hold our glass.

So, we have these wild pieces of grass that are going to go right into the bottle.

And these are artificial, but of course, you could use real.

And then I'm going to take these cute little things that we cut off the garland, and we're

just going to shape them around and in.

And the trick really is to just find a spot in between the flowers so that they stick

in easily.

And we'll put one more in for good measure.

I'll just kind of put that in there.

And then just kind of fluff everything out.

And you have this beautiful finished arrangement for 4th of July, or Patriot's Day, or any

time that you want to do a patriotic favor.

Don't forget to click below to subscribe to our YouTube channel, and please like Bowdabra

on Facebook.

Dive Conditions Report For Caloundra 7 June 2017 Sunshine Coast Queensland Australia #ScubaDive - Duration: 3:26.

Hey people of the interwebs it is Q bringing you your dive conditions

midweek report. I know last week I said that things were starting to look good,

but this week they really are. If the Pumicestone Passage waters look this

clean, then things are definitely on the up-and-up.

The good news is, I would say there is enough visibility in the Pumicestone

Passage for a drift dive and also the tide times are in your favor for both

Saturday and Sunday morning, if you want to get a drift dive in The Passage.

Absolutely perfect winter weather here as we overlook Kings Beach and I know I

said it last week but I'll say it again, I can see structure through the water,

there are definitely variations from the sand to the rocks and the coral

structure, so that is good news. Currently experiencing a gentle

southwester and both Saturday and Sunday mornings the wind will still be

generally from the South, although it is expected to pick up as we head towards

the weekend and then ease off into Saturday and Sunday. Taking a closer look

at the water on Kings Beach boat ramp and again confirming that there's

probably around about 2 to 3 meters visibility at the moment and fingers

crossed that it's going to stay that way for the weekend. However showers are

possible on Saturday, but they're more likely to happen on Sunday, if they're

going to happen at all. Almost perfect winter dive conditions at Shelly Beach.

Lots of structure seen through the

water, so the visibility is there. Again I would estimate if you went in today

about 4 meters of vis and with the current wind direction there are of

course very small waves breaking onto the beach area. So all things being equal

so far this is my number one pick for a dive this Saturday or Sunday morning.

This bird's eye view down onto The Keyhole dive site has brought a smile to

my face. Even though we're just slightly away from low tide, it is looking great.

Lots of visibility, lots of structure to be seen and again confirms that we

should have around about 4 meters of visibility, at a minimum, if you went in

today. The perfect dave conditions continue as we take a look at Moffat

Beach. Lots of structure to be seen, nice calm

flat surface and easy entry and exit. And again confirming around about four

meters of minimum visibility if you went in today. Your tide times for this weekend,

Saturday we have a high at 8:22 am and a low at 2:16 pm. Sunday we have a high

at 8:58 am and a low at 2:49 pm. And we're expecting the swell to be around

about the 2.5 to 3 meter mark on Saturday morning, dropping down to 2

meters by Sunday morning. So in summary, I think there's a great possibility of the

shore diving sites around Calandra being wide open for scuba diving this weekend

coming and of course we are heading into winter so we're onto that beautiful

crystal-clear water that we always get at this time of the year. If you found

this dive conditions midweek report with Q helpful, don't forget to leave a

thumbs up, it really does help me out and of course subscribe to the YouTube

channel to see future videos. Thanks for watching and take it easy.

MANAGING THE EMOTIONS OF OTHERS II II MOTIVATIONAL TIPS BY MRS NISHI MALHOTRA II - Duration: 3:40.

Hello friends..

We are trying to strengthen you emotionally.

Now we spoke about self awareness, but there is another thing called listening to others, managing them.

Empathy, Empathy is a very powerful emotion.

Once we understand others, once we listen to them

We are more emotionally intelligent.

Now great leaders, great media personalities

They have strong empathise, they know how to play around with the emotions of people.

Now I'm not asking you to play around negatively

I mean positively play around with others emotions, understand them.

Managing other people is a very-very skillful task.

You need to understand how to go about certain situations.

Now if your child is insisting on a view point

That he believe strongly about and you know he's wrong.

He's going to get into trouble. What do you need to do?

You need to be calm, emotionally intelligent & handle the situation in a smarter way.

That is managing his emotions as well as displaying your emotional skills.

An angry leader, he cannot control an angry mob, right !!!

So what we need to do is, we need to be patient

We need to be calm, we need to have control over our emotions

Now if we react to situations strongly, we will get stronger reactions

Its important..

Also be socially very responsible, we are on social angles. Correct !!

And so we need to understand, what statements to make,

We need to understand how its going to impact the others

We need to be extremely socially responsible

Socially responsible would mean contributing and not looking at personal gains.

Contribution brings in a lot of strength to you, lot of success to you

And a lot of satisfaction to you.

To win over other people and their emotions and to manage them

You need to control your personal impulses, don't be impulsive

If you think you are going in the right direction, pause.

Stop change your direction. Be analytical, analyse the situation.

Why am I doing this?

What if I don't do this?

What If I do it differently ?

I'll find an alternative.

So you need to cope-up with situations and a conscious level.

Say, "I will control my thoughts".

I will not do this.

I will do it in a different amicable way.

We need to skill coach our self, we need to talk to our selves.

We need to be flexible, being too rigid you'll miss out on opportunities.

It is important to either stick or switch.

When its come to relationships emotional intelligence means

When to Stick & When to Switch.

You've got to be aware of that.

Once you know this relationship does not going to give me anything, Switch.

Emotionally Intelligent people will switch, move-on and get over it.

But the emotionally weak are going to be in trouble.

So kindly skill coach your emotions, kindly skill coach your intelligence.. work on them.

It takes a lot of persistence, it takes a lot of practice .. But I'm sure you can do it.

Friends, If you like the video kindly share & do subscribe.

Thank you...

Forget books, libraries are all about the people - Duration: 11:31.

Forget books, libraries are all about the people

Puke Ariki director Kelvin Day talks library. Reporter Deena Coster spends some time at New Plymouths Puke Ariki library - the largest lounge in the province.

For years, libraries have been synonymous with silence and reflection, where people should be seen and not heard. But from the time the doors open at New Plymouths Puke Ariki library its a place of action.

Tess Clarkson searches the shelves, checking out just a few of the 199,354 items in New Plymouths library collection.

Conversations murmur across the floor, mixed with the tapping sounds of fingertips on computer keys, the squeak of the wheel on the library trolley and the odd whirr of the coffee machine. Its a public service designed with people in mind.

Last month, Kaponga resident Elizabeth Williams complained about how the towns library was being used as a dumping ground for unsupervised and unruly children.

People often queue up at the doors before opening time at Taranakis biggest library in New Plymouth. Her claim was dismissed by the South Taranaki District Council who said the younger generation should be encouraged to use libraries, not be turned away.

Its a sentiment supported by Puke Ariki manager Kelvin Day, who oversees the New Plymouth library and five other satellite services dotted around the district. He believes libraries are like the lounge of a community.

I think libraries are really important community hubs. New Plymouths facility is one of more than 300 libraries around the country which open its doors, both in person and online,  to 50 million visitors every year in New Zealand.

From people borrowing their stack of books for the week, to accessing the free internet on offer or getting help from a Justice of the Peace when theyre on duty.

Paris Lai uses the New Plymouth library to get some study done. We provide a huge range of services to help build a healthy community, Day says.

Ever since the first book was issued in New Zealand in 1951, the public library has been woven into the fabric of society.

James Story, 2, has some fun in the childrens zone at New Plymouths Puke Ariki library.

Anyone, with the appropriate identification, can join the library and in order to keep a membership active, all you need to do is borrow a book at least once every two years.

But you dont need to be a member to walk through the doors, the library is a facility which is open to all.

10am on a week day, ten minutes after the doors open at New Plymouths library - the biggest in Taranaki - and its ground floor is already bustling with people.

Puke Ariki manager Kelvin Day says libraries are just like living rooms. Many of the computer desks on the ground floor have been claimed by visitors making the most of free broadband internet which comes courtesy of the Aotearoa Peoples Network.

The network provides 750 personal computers to 151 sites across the country and users can also connect using their own device. Between July 2015 and June 2016, 126,575 log ons were recorded across all libraries in the New Plymouth district.

New Plymouth library is one of more than 300 around New Zealand.

Day says the rise of digital technology has been the biggest change for libraries in the last decade, as people move away from the printed page to the small screen.

Their world revolves around their phone, their laptop or their tablet, he says. While technological advances will continue to develop and grow, Day says the library would always remain a key connection for the community.

Along with books, music and DVDs to borrow, copies of newspapers are also available to read at New Plymouth library. Trevor Ansley takes some time out to catch up on the news.

We have people waiting at the doors, waiting for us to open at 9am, he says. Its indicative of its success and its value as a service, which is something we should be proud of.

* Fines for overdue and lost books from this library is more than $200,000. * Library patrons chapter of frustration with unsupervised kids. * Classic ploy clears library steps of undesirables.

Elaine Jeffrey provides punters with a caffeine hit at the librarys Taranaki Daily News Cafe.

Ensuring the library remains a welcoming and safe place for visitors goes some way to explain the presence of the security guard, who patrols the library floors during opening hours.

Since 2015, the sounds of Beethoven, Bach and Chopin have streamed out of the speakers installed outside the New Plymouth library in a bid to scare off the undesirables.

The shared space outside of the library has had its share of problems in the past, some of which have required police intervention.

Friends Li Mei and Paris Lai find a quiet spot in the library to get a bit of study done.

The classical music was introduced as a way to deter potential troublemakers from hanging around the entrance way and intimidating members of the public.

Day says 99 per cent of the time, the open door policy the library maintains doesnt cause any problems but the security guard is there to step in when needed.

Sometimes there are issues that arise that staff need help to deal with, he adds. By the early afternoon, the hustle and bustle of the morning has died away.

The free internet spots are all taken, with people engrossed with whatever is playing on the  screen. Upstairs is no different.

Theres a man, minding his own business, as he works his way through a packet of Griffins Malt biscuits while reading the newspaper. Others have their heads down studying, while a woman eats a late lunch at a desk near the windows.

Everyone is here for a reason - they all have a purpose. Whether its a five minute trip or a stay which lasts for hours, the library is a place to be, think, create, escape and learn.

One of the more sedate spots in the library is the Taranaki Research Centre, which looks after historical material related to the province, along with an extensive reference book selection.

A school group are on a day trip there, bags are strewn by the entrance and kids spread out across the room, some more engaged than others. Its more boringer (sic) than school, one boy is overheard saying.

However, they dont all feel the same way about the library and what it has to offer. This is actually pretty fun. Its like youre learning about all this history, a young boys tell a classmate, as they dart across the room.

As the students gather to leave, the chatter and hum which filled the room goes out the door with them and its quiet again. But before they go, a staff member thanks them for coming. We hope to see your faces again.

There are more than 300 libraries in New Zealand. More than 13 million internet sessions are hosted every year. More than 50 million people visit the countrys public libraries each year. New Zealand public libraries hosted 23,000 events.
