Youtube daily report Jan 26 2018

Hello, hello! Welcome back to my channel

In this video, I'm going to be doing a

first impression slash and get ready with me

I purchased some of these products

some products were sent to me

so if you want to see how I created this look

right here as well as my first impressions

on some of the products I'm trying for the first time

go ahead and keep watching...

So the first thing I like to do before I start my face

and my day is apply my moisturizer

And I'm using the h2o Beauty Oasis hydrating treatment

I'm literally done with this moisturizer y'all

I used my last dollop of it

it was a great moisturizer

I was introduced to this seven years ago

when I first went to San Francisco

and needed a good moisturizer to keep my skin

hydrated in that cold weather

It was amazing and it was in a different packaging

back then

so after I do moisturizer

I like to go in with an eye cream because obviously

you can tell I have some circles

under my eyes if you've been watching my Instagram

videos, I've been using this product quite a lot.

It's the dr. Brandt needles no more no...

It's the dr. Brandt needles no more

no more baggage eye de-puffing gel

And I like this because it instantly

de-puffs under my eyes

I always look tired for some reason

the moisturizer and eye cream are not new to me

this is my daily ritual

I just don't have any new eye creams or moisturizers

to try at the moment

so the next product I'm about to try is a sunscreen

I highly suggest everyone wear a sunscreen

the younger you are the better protect your skin now

So you don't have to face damages like I have and here

I know they're reversible with some laser treatments,

but I'm not about to do that right now. I'll do that later

This is the Supergoop! Unseen Sunscreen SPF40

it's a sweat and water resistant

the Unseen Sunscreen SPF 40 is a weightless, colorless,

scentless, oil-free formula for face that smooths

the appearance of pores grips makeup in place

and leaves a velvety soft finish

And it's perfect for all skin tones!

WHOA! Yall, it's clear

Okay, I guess that's why... oh goodness Brigette.

You're so dumb... (talking to self)

Now I know why they call it unseen sunscreen

because it literally is invisible

so I took a dollop on my hand

i'm just going to apply it

It feels very silky,

so it smells like sunscreen

as far as the texture...

it reminds me of the Smashbox Photofinish Primer

That's what it feels like it feels so good

There's no white cast

That's some legit shit

before I move on if you don't like silicone textures

I wouldn't suggest using this

But I do love it so far because it's invisible

after I do my sunscreen I usually apply primer

I'm gonna skip that because this sunscreen works

as a primer

and the foundation I like to use or been using

is the Urban Decay All Nighter Waterproof Foundation

I'm doing like little baby pumps everywhere.

I'm just gonna go in with a fluffy foundation brush

and blend it all out

so far the

sunscreen isn't interfering with the application of my foundation

which is nice...

So if you haven't tried this foundation before it's really

good for oily skin types because it mattifies your skin

I forgot to add my lip balm, and it's the

IT Cosmetics Je Ne Sais Quoi Rose Lip Balm

So I went to get my secret santa a gift from Ulta,

and I saw this in the checkout station

and was like...

I love sponges, I do love my Beauty Blender

so

Like with 12 sponges you can't go wrong right?!

there was one sponge in particular

Which was number five that was like calling my name

It was a miracle diamond sponge,

and I already took it out of the package

to save us some time

And I wet it! It literally looks like a diamond

So typically when I apply my foundation with a brush

I go in with my Beauty Blender just to like remove

any excess product left on my face

okay, so the next thing I'm going to try is the

Urban Decay all nighter waterproof concealer

And I'm going to be using this shade medium neutral.

I've been loving the Urban Decay Naked skin concealer

the original one

I love the texture, and how well it covers.

I'm gonna apply one side first

and so fa It's like a thicker...

Texture from the other Urban Decay one

I'm gonna try blend it out with the diamond sponge

and I like to bring the excess product

on the sponge onto my lids and use it as like...

an shadow base

Let me do another layer...

No layer but the other side

so with this concealer, I do suggest doing one eye

at a time because I can tell that it dries fairly quickly

so far I like it...

It's a little more matte than the original

Naked skin concealer

with products like this

I have to use them like over and over again

to get like my final thoughts on them

at this stage of my makeup application.

I like to go ahead and set my foundation

With a powder

today, I'm going to be trying a new powder

and it's from IT Cosmetics

It's the your skin, but better cc+ airbrush perfecting powder

I'm going to do one side of my face

So it definitely gives my face a

Dewy finish this may look beautiful on people who love

that dewy finish on your skin,

so if you love that dewy look

Definitely try this!

Once that is done, I go in with the Graftobian

Banana cream pie setting powder

I've been using this so much!

I'm going to use the same sponge the diamond sponge

just a little I don't like to put too much under my eyes

the excess on top

I'm just gonna let it sit there for quite some time

while I let this "bake" under my eyes

I'm going to let it set for a little bit

So Make Up For Ever launched their palette system

a few months ago

And they sent me a little PR Package

I put together the shades that were inspired by Kim Thai

So I'm going to take her sculpting shade

and I'm going to try and sculpt my face

I'm gonna start with a small amount of product

first... just in case!

oooh, nice and natural

Okay, I'm gonna

Start from the back pull it forward.

I'm gonna to take a little more on the top of my forehead

Taking a little whatever is excess on my jaw

I already have a strong jawline so I don't want to do too much

Now that my face is sculpted

and I'm gonna go in and fill in my eyebrows

Because I feel like an alien right now.

This is a new product I'm gonna try as well

it's from IT Cosmetics

It's the IT cosmetics brow power powder

say that like 10 times!

and it's the Universal Transforming Taupe

I've also been using the Make Up For Ever Pro brow palette

You see me using this makeup forever one a lot

in my videos... well my Instagram videos, that is!

so yeah, I'm gonna try this it cosmetics one

and see how it works

let me brush my brows first

I'm gonna stop right here I

Like it it's nice and natural

ok let me finish my other brow

I am back... with my eyebrows on

I don't look too alien-like now

after I put my eyebrows on I'm gonna take the same

shade that I sculpted with in the make up for ever palette

in S116

I'm going to take my favorite nose contouring brush

it's the Kat Von D Number 40

Take a little bit on the tip of it

I'm just gonna work it on the sides of my nose

Now nose contouring is not for everyone

I have any smaller nose, and the bridge isn't really

defined or prominent

so I like to make mine look prominent

I feel like my nose like a little more taller now

Just remember you guys makeup is temporary

you can do whatever you want

and experiment with whatever you want to do

And I like to take a little bit more

on the sides of my brush now

And work it in like the socket of my eye,

so whatever's excess. I like to pull down

So most of the concentration is in my socket,

and then whatever is excess on my lids

I'm gonna sweep off the excess powder under my eyes

ok, I totally forgot this part

so I'm going to do it right now

I'm going to try the Brow Power Pomade

from IT Cosmetics

*ouch*

So let me apply it right now a first glance it reminds me

the Benefit gimme brow like it's so little

Okay, now I'm going to move on to...

my

What I want to do now

I'm gonna line my eyes with the Make Up For Ever

Aqua XL eye pencil in M14

so I also have a new product here from

It Cosmetics...

It's the Superhero Eyeliner

So the eyeliner tip reminds me of the Kat Von D

Tattoo eyeliner that just like my all-time favorite eyeliner

at the moment

it reminds me of it so much

Okay, let's see how this works.

I hope it's as pigmented as the Kat Von D one

I like this eyeliner so far

I think I like brush tips in general

I like it...

See now you can see why I like wearing eyeliner

this is my eye without eyeliner

This is my with eyeliner

it brings life to my face

That's why I like my eyebrows and the eyeliner

it has to be on at all times

I thought it was gonna be splotchy because of how

I applied it on my hand but on my eyes

It looks pretty good and let me do the other side

and I'll be right back

so let's move on to mascara

So this mascara isn't new to me. I've been using it quite

some time as well

It's the Lancome Monsieur Big mascara,

and I'm just gonna apply it everywhere

Did I just say everywhere?

I meant apply it on my lashes... my bad

Anybody else hold their mirror upside down?

like here's a palette when you look at it

It looks like this, but I like to hold my mirror upside down

like this and look into it

all you upside down mirror holders comment down below

oh lord...

ok once that is done

I apply false lashes, and I'm gonna be using the

PUR Cosmetics Pro Eyelashes in Flirt

I kid you not I've used these eyelashes for

like more than 50 times

I tell my business partner Christina that all the time

she's always asking me

What are you wearing on your lashes this time

i'm like, "girl it's the PUR ones."

I've used them so many times....

She's even hooked on it too, so

I'm gonna let the glue get tacky on my lashes before I apply them

But the since we were gonna be waiting

let's apply some blush

I'm gonna apply the blush that is in the palette

blush 308

I'm going to start on this side of my face

I don't have like visible cheekbones, which is why I had

to contour first, and I do have a flat face y'all

I gotta do some magic here

so..take a little bit of that blush

I'm gonna start from the back of my cheekbone

and pull it forward

and I'm not going to go past the pupils of my eyes

I'm gonna apply my lashes because I feel like they're

just about ready

So now that my lashes are on

I'm gonna apply this same at Lancome mascara

on my lower lashes

we're going to move on to highlighting

for the highlighter, I'm going to be using the same

highlighter from the palette I put together

and the color is H106

okay and I'm gonna set my face first with

the MAC Prep and Prime Fix Plus

ok...

Okay, so while that is like setting my face.

I'm gonna go ahead and put some highlighter on

Then for the nose part. I like to use a different brush

with this brush, I've been using it so freaking much

ever since I bought it from The Makeup Show

frick, I've been so obsessed!

it's the Cozzette S185

I like to take a little bit on there

and highlight my nose

So once that is done. I'm going to put a little bit

in the inner corners of my eyes

Just to make my eyes appear a little brighter,

and I'm going to take a little bit more and highlight

Just the tops of my brow bone

And oh wait, let's get back to these palettes

So if you're curious if you just want to buy like one color

from the palette it comes with one shade and a little palette

so let me see if I have the little palette

So for instance if you buy one shape like the blush shade

and just want to get that

It comes with a small palette, and that's $25

so one shade plus a palette is $25

And if you want to get two shades

like the contour and highlighting shade

You also get a palette for that as well

It's $35, and that's the dual one it includes

the two shades plus one palettes

And the one palette looks like this

with the magnet here

pretty legit huh?

if you want three shades

It's $45, and it says that

It includes three shades plus a palette so this entire

palette here... palette plus the three shades is

$45 that price isn't bad considering the fact that

these are huge palettes look at my hand my hand fits right here

So I mean they're pretty big and compact

and I like the fact you can customize them

and pick your own shades

Let's move on to the lips. I bought this a while back

I Intended to do like a blog post about it,

and I just didn't get around to doing it

KKW by Kylie cosmetics creme liquid lipstick kit

so that's how it looks like in the packaging

It's super gorgeous

The colors are Kimmi

Kiki, Kim and Kimberly

I take it that's all her names and nicknames

I'm trying to see which one I want to use

This one's Kimmi

maybe Kim?

Okay, let me try it Kimmi

so it looks like this on my lips...

I'm kidding so this is how it's gonna look like

so far there is no weird scent which is nice

so let's try it

I don't have anything on my lips just the

IT Cosmetics Je Ne Sais Quoi Lip Balm

and like coffee residue on my lips or whatever so

Is it just me or

Does it feel like a lipgloss?

if you have this, please let me know if this is

what you're feeling as well

It feels good. It doesn't feel like drying

It's a beautiful shade yo, I'm kind of liking this.

I just want to keep applying it it feels so good

I can't wait to see how like the other shades look like

and I guess that's it

Y'all I have nothing else to try...

Ok, first things first

here's what I'd recommend from everything I've tried

is the Supergoop! Unseen Sunscreen

because there is no color to them

again if you don't like silicone textures

this has a silicone texture to it

I guess it depends on your preference

if you like silicone textures

And you're willing to try a new sunscreen that has no

color go ahead and try this supergoop one

and I would also recommend

The Make Up For Ever palettes because

you can customize your palette

and bring them on the go with you

and it comes with a super huge mirror

that I've been using this entire time

If I could choose one IT Cosmetics product

I think I would choose the superhero eyeliner.

just because it resembles one of my favorites, which is the Kat Von D

Tattoo liner

and the other thing is...

the KKW by Kylie Cosmetics

so far I've tried one color and it feels amazing

it's super lightweight. I wasn't expecting it to feel this way

OH MY GOSH! ok, one more thing

Sorry one more thing I swear

It's the Urban Decay All Nighter Concealer

if you are more on the oilier side

and want a full coverage concealer

I would recommend trying this

again, thank you so much for watching my video

I hope you guys have a great day

I'll see you in my next one. Bye

BREAKING News! OPRAH 2020…She Just Made Up Her Mind About Running For President. - Duration: 5:05.

BREAKING News!

OPRAH 2020…She Just Made Up Her Mind About Running For President.

Although Oprah Winfrey had at one point sounded sensible and confirmed that it wasn't part

of her plans to run for president, it seems like the idea of being the first black woman

president is starting to sound swell to her.

In an interview for the March 2018 issue of InStyle magazine, the former talk show host

who once said all white people needed to die was asked how she felt about the prospect

of what would be a historic campaign to put a black woman in the White House.

Although the interview was conducted a month before her speech at the Golden Globes she

replied she's always felt very secure and confident with herself.

I guess that's why she's usually gaining weight and dieting or getting surgery to remove

the excess baggage.

She knows very well what she can do.

Oprah was going viral for a bit when everyone thought she would run for President in 2020.

That's squashed.

She added that running for President isn't something that interests her nor does she

have politics in her DNA.

She has entertained the notion of a Presidential run, but that's all it was – entertainment.

The idea of a woman who once said "White people need to die!" being President does

not seem like a very good idea for the race relations of America.

CNN Reports:

"President Winfrey" was the talk of the entertainment world after Winfrey accepted

the Cecil B. DeMille Award at the Golden Globes.

And the "Oprah for president?" possibility was a top story on morning TV.

The touchstone of her speech was the #MeToo movement.

But her hopeful message — "A new day is on the horizon" — could have doubled as

a campaign rallying cry.

Many liberal-leaning celebrities and viewers certainly heard it that way.

And that may have been exactly what Winfrey wanted.

As some political strategists have pointed out in the past year, her fame and wealth

could make her a formidable Democratic Party candidate.

But insiders have their doubts too: Would Americans really choose a TV star as president

twice in a row?

For now, it's all just talk.

But her fans demonstrated a lot of wishful thinking on Twitter and Facebook after her

speech.

Winfrey has deflected questions about a presidential run in the past, but she has also acknowledged

that President Trump's election upended assumptions about how to pursue political

office.

After the speech, Winfrey's longtime partner Stedman Graham was quoted saying a run is

a possibility.

"It's up to the people," Graham told a Los Angeles Times reporter.

"She would absolutely do it."

Winfrey campaigned for Barack Obama in 2008 and endorsed Hillary Clinton in 2016.

During Clinton's campaign, she discussed the prospect of a female president and said

"America, it's about time that we made that decision."

She said it would be a "seminal moment for women."

But the moment has yet to happen — which is one of the reasons Sunday's speech stirred

so much attention.

Winfrey has deep pockets, an even deeper well of charisma, and instant name recognition,

thanks to decades on "The Oprah Winfrey Show."

Reese Witherspoon alluded to her friend's superstar status while introducing her at

the Globes: "There's only one person whose name is a verb, an adjective, and a feeling.

And that is Oprah."

What she lacks is political experience.

Winfrey laughed while the studio audience applauded.

For political advice, she could call the Obamas.

Winfrey vacationed with the couple in Tahiti last spring."

That's funny because if she were ever President, then she'd be better off calling President

Trump.

His America is thriving better than ever, and his advice would be more effective than

if she called former President Barack Obama.

His America didn't succeed like what we see right now.

The Democrat Party has no one to run in 2020.

They floated Oprah, John Kerry, Bernie Sanders, and they can't come up with a winner.

They've even copied the Republican idea of running a billionaire celebrity as a candidate.

Oprah proves how desperate they are to have someone run.

Although we are still 2 1/2 years away from the next election, never underestimate the

hilarious antics of the American populace.

If we weren't allowed to criticize Obama because he was half black, then imagine the

"rules" the left will come up with if our next president is a liberal black woman

who suffers from weight issues.

Could you imagine the cartoons if Oprah was President?

what do you think about this?

Jowar Green Peas Upma | How To Make Veg Jowar Upma | Healthy Breakfast Recipe | Jowar Upma Recipe - Duration: 3:58.

Hello Everyone..

Welcome to Priya's Kitchen..

Today I am going to share one instant breakfast recipe, which is very healthy, that is Jowar & Green Peas Upma.

It is very easy to make and it is very delicious..

Let's start the process..

heat 2 tablespoons of Oil in a pan, our oil is hot

Add 1 teaspoon of Mustard Seeds

1 tablespoon of Chana Dal

1 tablespoon of Urad Dal

fry them

10 to 15 Cashew Nuts

1 small piece of Ginger, finely chopped

3 Green Chillies

fry them

1 finely chopped Onion

and some Curry Leaves (around 10 No.s)

1/2 cup of Green Peas, I am using fresh green peas

fry them

fry for 3 to 4 minutes, till the onions change their colour slightly

so our onions and green peas got fried nicely

now add 1/2 cup of freshly chopped Coriander

If you take 1 cup of Rava, we have to take 1/2 cup of Green Peas and 1/2 cup of Coriander

fry it

just fry for 10 seconds

add required amount of Salt

now add our Rava (Jowar Rava - 1 cup)

mix it

fry the rava for 1 minute

for this upma, for 1 cup of jowar rava we have to take 2 & 1/2 cups of water

now add 2 &1/2 cups of Hot Water

mix it

at this point of time, you can adjust the salt as per your liking, by tasting some water

so (after 3-4 mins) now we can see 50% of water has been evaporated

now cover it

and cook the upma for 15 minutes on slow flame or till it is completely done

so its been 20 minutes, let's check our upma

it is done

the upma has completely cooked n became nice & dry

so our green peas jowar upma is ready to serve

so our awesome Jowar and Green Peas Upma is ready

Serve hot with some Peanut chutney and some Podi, it goes excellent... Let me taste it...

so yummy, very delicious, all the flavors of green peas, coriander.

awesome taste... try it in your home...

I LIVE IN LA! Khalid Concert, Decorating, & Veganism Update - Duration: 13:16.

Shout-out to our friends at Lexus

Look at this sleek car Tokyo

Morning guys it is around no. It's not 2:20 p.m.. Is

12:20 a.m.. I was like the people at Lexus just picked up our car

So I'm going to show you guys a couple shots of that car and we are so

Thankful that they let us use a car for the first couple days that we were in town so we loved that car

super smooth ride super quiet can't find my

Mommy, I guess I didn't do anything else today. I've just been editing some and now we're gonna go to Ikea

There's not one remotely nearby, but we're going to it to see what they have so you can keep getting our place stock

We live in, California

IKEA

It's actually my first time in IKEA. I think we have one in North Carolina in Charlotte

That's not close to me so excited and this place is bigger than anticipated

Progress glasses blankets pillows random things more random things Oleg I

Think I did it so literally off my sink

and then my soap like thing on top of that and then my camera balancing on the top of the soap dispenser, so

We do look good. It's working so far. I just thought I'd blog while I get ready

Where does the time go you know like it's 5:00?

It's the 5 o'clock. I will go at 7:30 this morning even though

I was up to like who moves to doing stuff last night and just like I don't know I've just

slept like not much at all the past three nights because of just like so much going on we're getting a

sectional delivered tomorrow that we bought from a guy on an app called offer up why I pay for new furniture became I have a

Desk lined up. Hopefully. I'll go this weekend. If it doesn't work out with that girl. I need a desk

I'm gonna do a big home decor haul as well today. What have we done? What have we done

I got some editing done

We waited around for the guy to come pick up the Lexus cuz now me and she needs cars are here went to Ikea

Which was like again far, away's and Wesson is like I walk as we were walking up

I was like this is where dreams are made of

No, this is her dreams come to die cuz like it's great because you get him out of stuff really cheap

It was just such a process like I was excited for a minute and suddenly

I wasn't when I realized how much further I had to go to get to the of it. Oh yeah

I have some much new things may Janine literally both were just like so over it at one point

Mark parts were farting full and we were just like malicious leaf, and then we came back here

And we have been

So tired all day like I had coffee or anything which I'm not someone me like needs coffee every day by any means

But like when I am exhausted

It's nice to have it. We don't have any way of making coffee here at the house yet. We need the kitchen appliances

That's one thing we're really lacking on I'm still so tired and then we came back unload of the car cook some lunch

All around but a very good day. I just my sleep deprivation

It's kicking in so finally starve is very long talking clip just catching out to speed. I'm now about to

tonight Friday night me and

Jimmy never Casey and Shelby are all going to this Sony event tonight

It's called like lost in music or something. It was really cool, and there are a lot of performers that are gonna

Be there as well including. I think the headliner is Cola. We eat at the who's concert. I'm also going to in, New York

Next week that's rather thick so it's gonna be fun

Make it ready and now

Ladies in black always hey Casey hey ed Estonia man. What up Shelby okay?

We have mark we have marshmallow people what in the world was that we all Canada sense well

In music in unison there was a regular people

Winter need recognizes the brothers from the one I don't know

You know

Thank you so much

We're now getting some food at this sushi place we got the squat off here good morning vlog Sam

It is Saturday here is my Ben. We are still working off the floor

I really need to that's how much dude was today. I need to order a bed frame

Just like figure out my bad situation. I can't figure out my desk. I'm still waiting on this girl

I'll not offer up app who has a desk that I want so hopefully it'll work out with her

If not, I need to get on that I have so many boxes

I need to like unpack and just like hang and figure out stuff. I am right now

Exciting news were finally about to have a couch, and he is not free here at any time

So I'm so excited to finally have a place

That's not just a beanbag to sit downstairs from the absence of real furniture in real cups

Actually, we do our real cups now you got those, but those are in the wash, so they're not operable yet

You sit on the on the stairs, and you drink water out of a man. We have a couch it

Looks kind of brown on camera. It's great

I'm thinking about having a bed on the floor just makes it so much easier to lay on because you just walk in the room

And here it is and then some like you just fall down on it and chilling for a minute

Velvet pillows great great things too to exist. I will say about these from Ikea yesterday

We have these cases. It's just like you bought the insert, and then you bought the pillow case

That one looks better this one really needs to be ironed only in LA January. Do you need neither the heat or they see?

For it to be the perfect temperature throughout your whole house. We're not even using it at all and it feels great

I'm gonna do a little cooking well I

Watched some YouTube fits cuz I'm starving also since I'm thinking about it

I'm just gonna show you guys how annoying this is this is the one qualms?

I have put this with this place so one of our cabinets you open

I'm not gonna do it all the way, but we have this really cute light fixture that is very poorly designed

Because as you can see it hits it, so if you open it like at all and just like let it go

It's slowly

But surely will whack that and like when the lights on it's so scary and it flickers and like

It's just like a I don't know something Bad's gonna happen with this

I mean you guys

I need to figure out a solution

For like as you can tell this isn't even all the way open because it's all the way open

That's when it hits that like I need to figure out just

Like what to do to make that not happen so that the door doesn't open all the way

But I like that all of the drawers and cabinets and everything

Are the kinds that like you can't slam you know what I mean, and they slowly closed

I'm also a fan of this like backsplash little lighting that we have going on there know why today

I've been really craving Brussels sprouts. It's like my favorite food of the moment. I got these at dinner

I might smell it to me and I don't know why I'm just craving like roasted vegetables

That's them to make for my lunch. Yeah, just make it Brussels sprouts

I don't know why this doughnuts so appealing I used to hate when my roommates in college will cook brussel sprouts

I thought they smelled so bad and now I mean it's not like great when you're cooking them, and they're so fresh

I think my smells so good, and I can't eat these I guess it is about time. I start unpacking some things

I don't think I showed this but yesterday, IKEA

I got these two frames

um I

Was gonna just have like the one here was like a big print in it and move that one somewhere else

But for the time being they are just stacked here

They're not centered obviously but kind of I don't know

I'm kind of feeling the like frame on frame look so back before I moved out here

I ordered a bunch of prints from artifact uprising

mostly because they have this calendar that I love

You can like hook it up to your Instagram and put a bunch of pictures on there and whatever and I had this last year

And I loved it here's my picture for

January me and Caroline with the hurt right thing because it's our feed a month

And then I also since I was ordering there are a bunch of pictures that didn't make it into the calendar

So I thought I'd print a few extras cuz I know these will go around my room in various places

So I'm just just laying that and I think this will probably go above my desk. I'm thinking so what we are cooking

I was gonna make this little Mexican quinoa ball

It's like one of my favorite things to cook

But we are short on pans and we have no pots and no lids so we can't really make quinoa without getting super creative

So doing a low one pan dinner couple little chicken strips broccoli sweet potato some cayenne pepper a little spicy element

We're gonna let all that cook and just drink it somewhat wine gosh. I wish

Drinking some lime water all day today. I've been just like squeezing a little lime into buying drinks, and all I'm so tired today

I just took a nap I'm still tired and tired since the moment I woke up

They got just as an update on the whole vegan things

I said I thought was a conversation for a minute for the first two weeks to know me or my family

just went vegan and I

Yeah, I'm a few takeaways um obviously I'm cooking chicken right now

So I am not fully sticking with that at the moment mister LaRose more just like out of convenience

I did like to pick up some chicken just in case cuz I don't know like what meals I was gonna be throwing together

Cuz I also didn't get tons and tons of groceries since I'm leaving for New York next weekend

Wait don't I'm so excited. We're gonna the concert even though. I just saw him

I found like the like number one fan of his but

I mean, I know like his popular song so now of course. It's I doing so during that concert

I'm gonna speak to a bunch of other stuff, and I really like it

But it's funny cuz it's like two shows in one week, and it's really just a coincidence. I don't know al last night

He was so cute. He's just like the smiley. It's like I don't if you tell them having a lot of fun

You can tell he's very like humble do that it like appreciates his success if you will so it is only 19

Which is crazy, and I should stop this music?

So was I talking about vegan at them first higway, and I am sticking with this so far Adrienne sex me a lot alright

So previously I was the Vegas. She's all a person

I know I talked about that a little I believe in blogs I could learn the put cheese on everything I still could but

at this point

I just don't really think about it anymore because I went like a little bit without it and my skin you guys cleared up

So much, not even like big like noticeable things

But like just in my forehead and when I got a facial for the lady told me I need to be out there because this

but like I would have like pretty much like my whole forehead like really tiny like I

Don't know just like my pores were filled. You know what I mean even though. They weren't like sits

It was just like I felt congested like I'm gonna face and now

Ever since I cannot bury what you're doing way better with that. Yeah. I don't know I just feel better

I'm remembering that I had cheesecake on the night finished

When I celebrate remembered there's my family Alma, I did in fact eat cheesecake because oh my god

But that's the leaves on that I still plan to um. I don't know

I'm not like calling myself a vegan, but I plan to still eat this plant-based is possible, and yeah

I mean I didn't buy any dairy this or which has never happened in my life

I feel like we're making progress people

Like I said when I started you don't have to be extreme felt like this was just like a good way to kickstart

Some healthier choices dinner it's served

I also randomly paired half an avocado with this for no real reason other than a half of one yesterday

And then this has been sitting in the fridge

so I wanted to use it up and since I put a lot of cayenne pepper on these because I really like spicy things I

Thought that would be good like cooling agent to balance it out

Yeah, so that's banana would be quite satisfying to have a chair to sit on for this, but oh well

I'm gonna go he's a box is my table

I'm going to watch lot of YouTube videos as I did earlier when I was

Actually, maybe I'll try Netflix the last time I tried it

My family was using all of our screens, and then I think I might do a little workout in here

Just like get my like blood flow and get a little energy, then I might take a bath use a bath balm

Cuz I actually shipped those with me know someone's using our account

It started it and then it stopped

So plans change

Ended up not working out or editing or taking bath because Shelby texted me and asked I was doing since she is right next door

Because we're neighbors was just so fun

She just came over and we drank some wine watched episode of black mirror so we did that I'm about to go to bed

I'm gonna go ahead and sign off this locks. I feel it was probably enough footage to combine these two days

I'm finally going to be doing a big home decor haul which I've kept promising

But I just never did it because stuff's like tucked away under like piles of crap that I just like neither unpack

I think I'll be doing that in my next main channel moving vlog. I think want to be posting notes over there

every like

Wednesday ish that is all now. We'll see you guys in my next vlog

Screenwriting Wisdom I've Never Forgotten by Eric Edson - Duration: 5:19.

in all of your classes growing up was there one instructor that said something

to you that really changed your way of thinking about writing and do you

remember that moment and what it was that it where it really popped it made

sense could be something very basic can be something more elaborate mmm

whether you were sitting in class whether it was notes they gave you one

of the things about being at the MFA program in playwriting this was so it

was still fairly fairly early on for me at UCLA they as all universities they're

very big on employing inviting even in as lecturers and you know it's part-time

people people known and it greatly experienced in the industries and they

would come in and teach a course for instance a graduate course there was a

world famous playwright in particular who who came in and did this course a

wonderful wonderful man and a major talent and I took the course and it

wasn't it wasn't the ultimate word of wisdom that's not what I took away what

I took away from that course is every writer and every life is different and

in a way sometimes that we do not even want to hear it is truly up to us

writers have in their core hopefully the ability we've you know we've been alone

all our lives and our thoughts to stand alone because hearing about other

people's journeys in a personal way these these people just weren't I mean

this particular individual too was a wonderful soul but basically what he did

is he told old war stories for all semester long and what we were writing

we wrote on our own we were it was up to us in the entire time as a matter of

fact UCLA nobody made any serious attempt to

teach me us the toolkit or approach or structure of writing full-length plays

it was all touchy-feely and all up to you and for a while there I was a bit

upset about that a bit ticked about that it what did cost money and all that

stuff but yes I learned I learned what they didn't it perhaps intend to teach

which is one person's journey is going to be different from yours now this is

kind of the opposite of what you are asking for you know this ultimate gem or

jewel of wisdom but I think it is a jewel of wisdom that these are good

brilliant accomplished artists who are most

sincere and their ability to share what how they've done it and what they did be

able to share that with these up-and-coming writers before them in the

grant program but I came away feeling they didn't have a whole lot to share

and that's okay okay I get that we will make our own path do you think because

they were so busy doing that they had a hard time articulating how they did it

or no I don't know I think most of them were instinctive writers they didn't

codify it and that's why when I came to teach later came to teach screenplay I

was kind of obsessed with this has to be you know this is teachable these are

smart people they can learn if we can make this teachable it can be taught I

mean there are certain levels at which skill talent it helps to have talent but

we all know I I certainly think I hope most people understand that it's not

necessarily the most talented writers who end up you know getting their

scripts sold and and even made that's not how it works they

had they they come up with ideas for stories

Hollywood buys stories not particulars crypts by particular writer z-- and

their stories that take people on a specific emotional journey knowing that

most likely they're going to come out feeling good at the end yes yeah yeah

less less so with feeling good at the end now today then once upon a time

have you seen life like we just saw that recently have you seen life yet speaking

of a negative ending yeah but there's still the gems but I get it I felt like

after maybe September things change but then that's a whole nother topic but no yeah

good point

you

I'm leaving the country... - Duration: 4:08.

[ 🎶 a capella do wop 🎶 ]

Hey everybody!

So, you've seen the title and you know that I am leaving the country.

I'm very excited to finally announce that in September I will be going to Limerick,

Ireland to study at the University of Limerick.

[ 🎶 a capella do wop: "well she sneaks around the world from Kiev to Carolina, she's

a sticky fingered filcher from Berlin down to Belize.

She'll take you for a ride on a slow boat to China.

Tell me where in the world is Carmen San Diego? 🎶 ]

I will be spending one year at the Irish World Academy getting an MA in Songwriting.

I am, I'm really excited.

If you had asked me, maybe like, six months ago, I probably would have told you that I

have no interest in grad school.

I just wanted to finish school, get on with my life [laughs] and never look back.

But then I heard about this program and it was like a lightbulb moment, you know?

I realized that I just wanted to be spending my time doing something important to me.

Not that I haven't loved my time in music school.

There have been a lot of positive things: I'm a far better musician, I'm a lot more

equipped to write songs.

But now that I am equipped I just want to have my time to myself to compose, to write,

and that's it.

So I'm blessed that I get to spend like a full calendar year in a beautiful place, right

on the River Shannon, developing my craft, working on my sound, developing my voice,

and getting critiqued by really great songwriters.

Anyway the thing about the Irish World Academy is that it is a very interdisciplinary arts

institute so I'm gonna be spending my time with dancers and singers and instrumentalists

and uh, you know, theatre people, and circus performers, and uh, just all kinds of different

people.

And I'll be able to take classes that relate to my songwriting tangentially, like maybe

I'll take an English literature class or poetry or history, or I don't know, anything!

Anyway, it's very exciting.

[laughs] In my application letter I wrote that I wanted to spend time specifically developing

stories, um, for trans people.

So, I don't know, in songwriting, there isn't a lot of songs that are specifically, exclusively

for trans people.

Uh, specifically I want to work on writing that includes the singular "they."

So, you know, if I want talking about my partner, Haley, I would say "I love them."

but I've never heard that in a song and because I have no model for that, it's been really

challenging to develop that on my own.

I'm starting to make some break throughs lately about that but, uh, it's very exciting that

I get dedicate time to specifically, this project that's important to me.

So anyway, I hope to be documenting this process of leaving Canada for a year, going to Ireland,

like vlogging my time there, and updating everybody on how I'm doing, and how things

are going, and the visa process, and moving, leaving my apartment [mock crying] just, yeah,

the whole thing.

It's really exciting.

And um, yeah, stay tuned for this adventure. That is all for today, I've been Renée, and I'll

see you next time [snaps fingers] [ 🎶 she goes from Nashville to Norway and then to

Zimbabwe, Chicago to Czechoslovakia and back!

Well she'll ransack Pakistand and run a scam in Scandinavia, then she'll stick 'em up down under,

and go pick pocket in Perth, she puts the Miss in misdemeanor when she stole the beans from Lima,

Serial terminal into a vive lighthouse. - Duration: 12:34.

Last May, MW Turvey from LibSurvive sent me a lighthouse and I decided to see if it would

be feasible to do FDM with the existing lighthouses.

I played with it.

I got a chance to dink with it but I never really made this video because I didn't have

time.

So, I'm going to throw together a little bit of something because people have been bugging

me about it recently.

So, it's not going to be like my normal youtube videos but for those who are specifically

looking for this video, here it is.

So, MW Turvey the guy who sent this to me has already done this and he has indicated

that it is well worth my while to do this instead of shortcutting around it.

Once I was able to pull off the front of the lighthouse, I was able to interface with the

little 4-pin connector doohickey at the bottom.

And to do that there are probably right ways but I did it with some tape and .1" headers.

With the connector together, I tried putting it on the bottom of the lighthouse from the

front of the lighthouse.

That was particularly difficult and I don't recommend it for anyone.

Uuhh.

*GHASP* Oh my gosh.

Uuhh Oh.

It was close though.

Adam: *Laughter*.

Charles: Nope.

Oh, Ok.

So that was it.

There's just two grounds.

Adam: And he even says both headers on the right looking in are tied to ground.

Charles: Ok, so that was it.

Oh man, now I gotta do it again.

Black and white that should be tied.

Adam: Should have been live streaming this.

Charles: No because we don't know if we can publish it yet.

Adam: Oh dear.

Alright, don't jiggle that.

Charles: Ok, so.

Oh we have to jiggle that though.

We had a bit of a guide from Alan to help us through things but we still had a lot of

fumbling.

It is not talking.

Adam: Ok, so we had a bad connection.

Let's pull the assembly out.

Charles: Ok, we'll pull the assembly out.

I'll find some tools.

Oh wow.

Perfect.

Adam: See, am I good at judging those sizes or what?

Charles: I just don't see how this won't destroy calibration.

Adam: Because there is a metal frame that holds that holds the whole thing together.

Charles: After finding out that none of my torx sets actually fit the screws on the lighthouse

I had to do the best I could with getting the connectors in the front.

I don't know what changed, but now it's working.

Adam: Ok.

Good.

Charles: We see something coming up.

YEAAAA BUDDY!

Haha!

Hello, Lighthouse Basestation.

Hey Adam, Check it out!

Maybe the other pin isn't on.

Adam: Oh interesting.

It's adorable.

Charles: Yeah!

It's working now.

Yeah, apparently it uses the minicom standard.

So, let's run it in minicom.

Oh my gosh.

Look at how fast this thing boots.

Ok watch this.

Reboot.

Enter.

That's pretty Neat.

Wow, they were working on firmware as late as May 5th of last year.

Adam: We've gotten updates to the firmware for these things, didn't we?

Charles: Have we?

Oh yeah we have gotten firmware updates.

Ok, that's fair.

So, now there's a command I'm supposed to execute to save off the configuration.

So, the command is eprom r 0 4032.

eeprom r 0 4032.

Neat.

Woah.

Hello.

So, some of these would be out of sync with each other.

That's good.

In addition to almost every parameter being configurable surrounding the timing.

This means the frequency, the timing, the standoff, everything.

We found that there were several more modes ready to go, they just weren't reachable by

pressing the button.

Much slower, much slower.

Much, much slower.

This one looks normal.

This one is mode A, Mode B, Mode C. Mode 7.

Can't tell the difference between mode 7 and the others.

Mode 1 is faster.

Let's go make sure we can read the pulse coming off of it.

Hmm.

All I see is pulses.

I don't see any that's interesting.

Let's see what we actually see if we dump this data.

Mode4.csv.

That's interesting.

Some of these pulses are not 1.8 MHz pulses.

Or maybe they are.

Oh they are it's just flipping around.

Slave optical master sync.

Slave cable.

So now, 765053 is this one.

So that's 4.

So it says 1 on the thing and that says 4.

And it looks like we have a pretty good grouping of data.

Plus or minus about 2 khz.

So, that's pretty spectacular.

For FDM the most important thing would be to change the carrier frequency.

Conveniently it's just a parameter in the lighthouse.

Set mode 4 carrier.

*GHSAP* Yes.

Wow.

Oh wow.

How low can it go?

Let's try a 900khz carrier.

It's gotten wonky again.

It's tracking to 1.51, 1.53.

I didn't get any video of it.

Things did get wonky below about 1MHz.

Thankfully there's lots more room.

It definitely tracks to 2 MHz.

That's about 20kHz windo.

That's odd that would get worse.

I decided to record several carrier frequencies in a single data set.

And the results were rather stunning.

I'm gonna chalk that up to success today.

I even wrote a program that would go through several frequencies on the lighthouse to make

sure that there were no dead spots or problems anywhere.

Much to my surprise.

The ESP8266 lighthouse was able to see all of the signals between 1.3 and 3.2 MHz.

This is really useful because it would mean it would be trivial to identify where any

light was coming from whenever it would hit an esp8266 lighthouse receiver.

One of the other things I did was drastically reduce the length of the sync pulses.

This would allow many more lighthouses to operate in the same area.

Unfortunately I never did find a way to make the sync pulses a different frequency than

the sweep pulses, so there would still be a disambiguation problem.

Charles: Adam.

Adam: What?

Charles: I got the lighthouse out.

Adam: Yeah?

Charles: It is ridiculous.

Adam: Let me see.

I'm surprised it doesn't have a metal frame I guess plastic's not too bad.

Easier to injection mold.

That is a pretty crazy mold.

What is this?

Charles: Laser.

Adam: Oh, it shines down the bore and then there's a mirror of course.

That's a much better way to do that than anything I thought of.

Charles: What?

It takes all that to make the?

Look at how much junk is on there and that's just for a sensor.

Adam: There might be a reason.

There might be a reason you're not aware of yet.

Especially for this one.

That junk may be doing something integral to the timing.

It also may be doing something so it can ignore itself maybe.

Adam: What is up with the giant capacitors?

Charles: Giant capacitors.

Adam: For the motors?

Charles: I don't know.

There is a full-on LPC in here.

Adam: How do they sink the heat from these?

Charles: I don't see anything.

I don't know.

Adam: That's a very thin board.

I guess they don't produce that much heat.

I thought Infrared things usually do.

Charles: They do.

Adam: I like how there's a lot of junk on the other side of the board, too.

And look, there's an unpopulated square.

Charles: That's an antenna.

Adam: Bluetooth.

Charles: Yes.

That's what that processor is in there.

Adam: Ok.

That's pretty good.

Charles: Now I'm afraid to do the thing I wanted to do to it.

Adam: You wanted to take the board off?

Charles: I wanted to go try to change out one component.

Adam: Oh.

Charles: I see it in there.

Adam: I think you could probably take the bottom board off OK.

Getting it back on may be a little tricky with those flexible cables but you could do

it.

It's this frame here that holds the important bits together.

I would definitely avoid moving.

But that's not doing positioning.

It's just doing timing.

Ok.

I guess as long as it's I don't know.

Charles: All it cares about.

It only looks for snyc pulses from the other ones.

Adam: Yeah, but if it was at the corner of the thing the sync pulse would happen at a

different time relative to this than...

Charles: Sync pulse.

No the flash.

Adam: ok.

Charles: After I recorded this video, things got very busy for me, so I didn't get a chance

to develop this any further, but people continue on with libsurvive and the channel and doing

all sorts of interesting projects with it so I recommend checking it out.

And if any of you guys want to play with the ESP8266 lighthouse stuff I do have all of

the stuff up on github for it.

I really do think FDM could be a viable way to operate this.

Another reason I didn't pursue this very hard was because it seemed valve was going to very

shortly be coming out with CDM lighthouses.

FDM meaning frequency division and CDM meaning code division and I pretty quickly lost interest.

But who knows.

Maybe somebody else will be able to take this and run with it.

Hi, I'm Andrew Barker. This is "Modern Shakespearean Sonnet Number 59:

Professional Pride." A builder, once, each time I pass a wall/ I noticed, still, if

perp joints fall in line,/ An instinct of the trained professional/

That those who've done the job cannot resign./ An academic, every film or book/

I read with questions, thesis-points in mind,/ Another instinct one does not unhook/

Once thinking in that way has been refined./ Is our appreciation warped or honed/

And often see as individual quirks?/ But points of interest found instinctively,

What better working fetish could there be? Thank you. That was "Sonnet 59"

Chit Chat GRWM (Trying New Products & First Impressions) | Love Brigette - Duration: 16:02.

Hello, hello! Welcome back to my channel

In this video, I'm going to be doing a

first impression slash and get ready with me

I purchased some of these products

some products were sent to me

so if you want to see how I created this look

right here as well as my first impressions

on some of the products I'm trying for the first time

go ahead and keep watching...

So the first thing I like to do before I start my face

and my day is apply my moisturizer

And I'm using the h2o Beauty Oasis hydrating treatment

I'm literally done with this moisturizer y'all

I used my last dollop of it

it was a great moisturizer

I was introduced to this seven years ago

when I first went to San Francisco

and needed a good moisturizer to keep my skin

hydrated in that cold weather

It was amazing and it was in a different packaging

back then

so after I do moisturizer

I like to go in with an eye cream because obviously

you can tell I have some circles

under my eyes if you've been watching my Instagram

videos, I've been using this product quite a lot.

It's the dr. Brandt needles no more no...

It's the dr. Brandt needles no more

no more baggage eye de-puffing gel

And I like this because it instantly

de-puffs under my eyes

I always look tired for some reason

the moisturizer and eye cream are not new to me

this is my daily ritual

I just don't have any new eye creams or moisturizers

to try at the moment

so the next product I'm about to try is a sunscreen

I highly suggest everyone wear a sunscreen

the younger you are the better protect your skin now

So you don't have to face damages like I have and here

I know they're reversible with some laser treatments,

but I'm not about to do that right now. I'll do that later

This is the Supergoop! Unseen Sunscreen SPF40

it's a sweat and water resistant

the Unseen Sunscreen SPF 40 is a weightless, colorless,

scentless, oil-free formula for face that smooths

the appearance of pores grips makeup in place

and leaves a velvety soft finish

And it's perfect for all skin tones!

WHOA! Yall, it's clear

Okay, I guess that's why... oh goodness Brigette.

You're so dumb... (talking to self)

Now I know why they call it unseen sunscreen

because it literally is invisible

so I took a dollop on my hand

i'm just going to apply it

It feels very silky,

so it smells like sunscreen

as far as the texture...

it reminds me of the Smashbox Photofinish Primer

That's what it feels like it feels so good

There's no white cast

That's some legit shit

before I move on if you don't like silicone textures

I wouldn't suggest using this

But I do love it so far because it's invisible

after I do my sunscreen I usually apply primer

I'm gonna skip that because this sunscreen works

as a primer

and the foundation I like to use or been using

is the Urban Decay All Nighter Waterproof Foundation

I'm doing like little baby pumps everywhere.

I'm just gonna go in with a fluffy foundation brush

and blend it all out

so far the

sunscreen isn't interfering with the application of my foundation

which is nice...

So if you haven't tried this foundation before it's really

good for oily skin types because it mattifies your skin

I forgot to add my lip balm, and it's the

IT Cosmetics Je Ne Sais Quoi Rose Lip Balm

So I went to get my secret santa a gift from Ulta,

and I saw this in the checkout station

and was like...

I love sponges, I do love my Beauty Blender

so

Like with 12 sponges you can't go wrong right?!

there was one sponge in particular

Which was number five that was like calling my name

It was a miracle diamond sponge,

and I already took it out of the package

to save us some time

And I wet it! It literally looks like a diamond

So typically when I apply my foundation with a brush

I go in with my Beauty Blender just to like remove

any excess product left on my face

okay, so the next thing I'm going to try is the

Urban Decay all nighter waterproof concealer

And I'm going to be using this shade medium neutral.

I've been loving the Urban Decay Naked skin concealer

the original one

I love the texture, and how well it covers.

I'm gonna apply one side first

and so fa It's like a thicker...

Texture from the other Urban Decay one

I'm gonna try blend it out with the diamond sponge

and I like to bring the excess product

on the sponge onto my lids and use it as like...

an shadow base

Let me do another layer...

No layer but the other side

so with this concealer, I do suggest doing one eye

at a time because I can tell that it dries fairly quickly

so far I like it...

It's a little more matte than the original

Naked skin concealer

with products like this

I have to use them like over and over again

to get like my final thoughts on them

at this stage of my makeup application.

I like to go ahead and set my foundation

With a powder

today, I'm going to be trying a new powder

and it's from IT Cosmetics

It's the your skin, but better cc+ airbrush perfecting powder

I'm going to do one side of my face

So it definitely gives my face a

Dewy finish this may look beautiful on people who love

that dewy finish on your skin,

so if you love that dewy look

Definitely try this!

Once that is done, I go in with the Graftobian

Banana cream pie setting powder

I've been using this so much!

I'm going to use the same sponge the diamond sponge

just a little I don't like to put too much under my eyes

the excess on top

I'm just gonna let it sit there for quite some time

while I let this "bake" under my eyes

I'm going to let it set for a little bit

So Make Up For Ever launched their palette system

a few months ago

And they sent me a little PR Package

I put together the shades that were inspired by Kim Thai

So I'm going to take her sculpting shade

and I'm going to try and sculpt my face

I'm gonna start with a small amount of product

first... just in case!

oooh, nice and natural

Okay, I'm gonna

Start from the back pull it forward.

I'm gonna to take a little more on the top of my forehead

Taking a little whatever is excess on my jaw

I already have a strong jawline so I don't want to do too much

Now that my face is sculpted

and I'm gonna go in and fill in my eyebrows

Because I feel like an alien right now.

This is a new product I'm gonna try as well

it's from IT Cosmetics

It's the IT cosmetics brow power powder

say that like 10 times!

and it's the Universal Transforming Taupe

I've also been using the Make Up For Ever Pro brow palette

You see me using this makeup forever one a lot

in my videos... well my Instagram videos, that is!

so yeah, I'm gonna try this it cosmetics one

and see how it works

let me brush my brows first

I'm gonna stop right here I

Like it it's nice and natural

ok let me finish my other brow

I am back... with my eyebrows on

I don't look too alien-like now

after I put my eyebrows on I'm gonna take the same

shade that I sculpted with in the make up for ever palette

in S116

I'm going to take my favorite nose contouring brush

it's the Kat Von D Number 40

Take a little bit on the tip of it

I'm just gonna work it on the sides of my nose

Now nose contouring is not for everyone

I have any smaller nose, and the bridge isn't really

defined or prominent

so I like to make mine look prominent

I feel like my nose like a little more taller now

Just remember you guys makeup is temporary

you can do whatever you want

and experiment with whatever you want to do

And I like to take a little bit more

on the sides of my brush now

And work it in like the socket of my eye,

so whatever's excess. I like to pull down

So most of the concentration is in my socket,

and then whatever is excess on my lids

I'm gonna sweep off the excess powder under my eyes

ok, I totally forgot this part

so I'm going to do it right now

I'm going to try the Brow Power Pomade

from IT Cosmetics

*ouch*

So let me apply it right now a first glance it reminds me

the Benefit gimme brow like it's so little

Okay, now I'm going to move on to...

my

What I want to do now

I'm gonna line my eyes with the Make Up For Ever

Aqua XL eye pencil in M14

so I also have a new product here from

It Cosmetics...

It's the Superhero Eyeliner

So the eyeliner tip reminds me of the Kat Von D

Tattoo eyeliner that just like my all-time favorite eyeliner

at the moment

it reminds me of it so much

Okay, let's see how this works.

I hope it's as pigmented as the Kat Von D one

I like this eyeliner so far

I think I like brush tips in general

I like it...

See now you can see why I like wearing eyeliner

this is my eye without eyeliner

This is my with eyeliner

it brings life to my face

That's why I like my eyebrows and the eyeliner

it has to be on at all times

I thought it was gonna be splotchy because of how

I applied it on my hand but on my eyes

It looks pretty good and let me do the other side

and I'll be right back

so let's move on to mascara

So this mascara isn't new to me. I've been using it quite

some time as well

It's the Lancome Monsieur Big mascara,

and I'm just gonna apply it everywhere

Did I just say everywhere?

I meant apply it on my lashes... my bad

Anybody else hold their mirror upside down?

like here's a palette when you look at it

It looks like this, but I like to hold my mirror upside down

like this and look into it

all you upside down mirror holders comment down below

oh lord...

ok once that is done

I apply false lashes, and I'm gonna be using the

PUR Cosmetics Pro Eyelashes in Flirt

I kid you not I've used these eyelashes for

like more than 50 times

I tell my business partner Christina that all the time

she's always asking me

What are you wearing on your lashes this time

i'm like, "girl it's the PUR ones."

I've used them so many times....

She's even hooked on it too, so

I'm gonna let the glue get tacky on my lashes before I apply them

But the since we were gonna be waiting

let's apply some blush

I'm gonna apply the blush that is in the palette

blush 308

I'm going to start on this side of my face

I don't have like visible cheekbones, which is why I had

to contour first, and I do have a flat face y'all

I gotta do some magic here

so..take a little bit of that blush

I'm gonna start from the back of my cheekbone

and pull it forward

and I'm not going to go past the pupils of my eyes

I'm gonna apply my lashes because I feel like they're

just about ready

So now that my lashes are on

I'm gonna apply this same at Lancome mascara

on my lower lashes

we're going to move on to highlighting

for the highlighter, I'm going to be using the same

highlighter from the palette I put together

and the color is H106

okay and I'm gonna set my face first with

the MAC Prep and Prime Fix Plus

ok...

Okay, so while that is like setting my face.

I'm gonna go ahead and put some highlighter on

Then for the nose part. I like to use a different brush

with this brush, I've been using it so freaking much

ever since I bought it from The Makeup Show

frick, I've been so obsessed!

it's the Cozzette S185

I like to take a little bit on there

and highlight my nose

So once that is done. I'm going to put a little bit

in the inner corners of my eyes

Just to make my eyes appear a little brighter,

and I'm going to take a little bit more and highlight

Just the tops of my brow bone

And oh wait, let's get back to these palettes

So if you're curious if you just want to buy like one color

from the palette it comes with one shade and a little palette

so let me see if I have the little palette

So for instance if you buy one shape like the blush shade

and just want to get that

It comes with a small palette, and that's $25

so one shade plus a palette is $25

And if you want to get two shades

like the contour and highlighting shade

You also get a palette for that as well

It's $35, and that's the dual one it includes

the two shades plus one palettes

And the one palette looks like this

with the magnet here

pretty legit huh?

if you want three shades

It's $45, and it says that

It includes three shades plus a palette so this entire

palette here... palette plus the three shades is

$45 that price isn't bad considering the fact that

these are huge palettes look at my hand my hand fits right here

So I mean they're pretty big and compact

and I like the fact you can customize them

and pick your own shades

Let's move on to the lips. I bought this a while back

I Intended to do like a blog post about it,

and I just didn't get around to doing it

KKW by Kylie cosmetics creme liquid lipstick kit

so that's how it looks like in the packaging

It's super gorgeous

The colors are Kimmi

Kiki, Kim and Kimberly

I take it that's all her names and nicknames

I'm trying to see which one I want to use

This one's Kimmi

maybe Kim?

Okay, let me try it Kimmi

so it looks like this on my lips...

I'm kidding so this is how it's gonna look like

so far there is no weird scent which is nice

so let's try it

I don't have anything on my lips just the

IT Cosmetics Je Ne Sais Quoi Lip Balm

and like coffee residue on my lips or whatever so

Is it just me or

Does it feel like a lipgloss?

if you have this, please let me know if this is

what you're feeling as well

It feels good. It doesn't feel like drying

It's a beautiful shade yo, I'm kind of liking this.

I just want to keep applying it it feels so good

I can't wait to see how like the other shades look like

and I guess that's it

Y'all I have nothing else to try...

Ok, first things first

here's what I'd recommend from everything I've tried

is the Supergoop! Unseen Sunscreen

because there is no color to them

again if you don't like silicone textures

this has a silicone texture to it

I guess it depends on your preference

if you like silicone textures

And you're willing to try a new sunscreen that has no

color go ahead and try this supergoop one

and I would also recommend

The Make Up For Ever palettes because

you can customize your palette

and bring them on the go with you

and it comes with a super huge mirror

that I've been using this entire time

If I could choose one IT Cosmetics product

I think I would choose the superhero eyeliner.

just because it resembles one of my favorites, which is the Kat Von D

Tattoo liner

and the other thing is...

the KKW by Kylie Cosmetics

so far I've tried one color and it feels amazing

it's super lightweight. I wasn't expecting it to feel this way

OH MY GOSH! ok, one more thing

Sorry one more thing I swear

It's the Urban Decay All Nighter Concealer

if you are more on the oilier side

and want a full coverage concealer

I would recommend trying this

again, thank you so much for watching my video

I hope you guys have a great day

I'll see you in my next one. Bye

This is my cat, Washington

Yo what is up guys and welcome back to another Animal Jam video where today I

have absolutely no idea what we're going to be doing today. Yeah.

Just kidding I know exactly what we're going to be doing today. We're gonna

become Mickey Mouse. No I'm serious this time. Because I have

the items. At least I think I have the items. But now all we need is something

that looks kind of like a mouse. What we need is something with a long tail and

large ears that's all we need that's the basis we need to work off of with wait a

minute... Look! Look! Long tail, large ears! Well actually I don't know if you can

see the ears that well, let me outline them for you. Perfect! actually those ears

kinda look like Yoda ears... Whatever. Let's get decorating! Here

we have some beautiful Mickey Mouse clothes and let's see what they look

like, ooooooh. Well... Mickey Mouse apparently now has

very big hands. Well let's move on. Now we need some red shorts, so let's go

buy those. Wait a minute where did the shorts go? I mean there are pants but

there are no shorts! I'm gonna look through everything here and I tell you

I cannot find any I cannot find any shorts anywhere so I'm going to have to

use these pants. And... they look beautiful. And for some reason our gloves have been

taken off so let's just put those back on and oh... It's either gloves or pants... I'm

going with gloves. And as we all know Mickey Mouse has

black fur right here, and that looks beautiful.

Even though his belly is still flesh-colored, and his ears are still

flesh colored and they're not black, it still looks beautiful. Now, let's change

the eyes. As we all know these are not Mickey Mouse eyes and I just realized

something. Look at that eye... That's actually kind of

scary anyways let's change the eyes to, not

these, those aren't Mickey Mouse eyes, those

aren't Mickey Mouse eyes, those look scary,

Those are Mickey Mouse eyes! Because you'll see, I'll pull up a picture of

Mickey Mouse right here, The similarities never end! So anyways, let's go out and do

Mickey Mouse things. So you may be wondering why I'm in Sarepia forest,

and that's because I am role-playing as Mickey Mouse, and where do all role

players go? Sarepia forest. Do you see my logic? Do you see how well I logic?

Mickey Mouse is full of logic he's got loads of brains... Brains.... So, let's go do some

roleplay... Well hey there folks!!! It's me, Mickey Mouse!!!

Oh boy, oh boy!!! Hot dog!!! You know, nobody's really paying attention to me. Maybe I

should try interacting with some of them. Hello there top hat deer!!! Who are you!? I'm

attention I wonder why. Hold on... Hold on! "Her trentonomous sicoglicenerals scanned the-"

Oh darn it I forgot what she said. Oh there it is, her trentonomous. Okay

let's search that. Okay well, this image came up for trentonomous so that

probably means eye? And sicoglicenerals Okay, either I spelled this wrong

or she's just making up a word. Okay well this doesn't seem to be going well at

all. Oh well... Now, here's the part you've all been

waiting for. This beautiful red short spiked wristband... To win this beautiful

red short spiked wristband all you need to do is Like this video, subscribe to my

WHY YOU SHOULD WATCH ONE DAY AT A TIME | xreadingsolacex [CC] - Duration: 5:34.

Hello you gorgeous individuals, it's Kav here and today I'm going to be telling

you all of the reasons you need to be watching One Day at a Time. One Day at a

Time is a Netflix original show and its new season will be coming out on January

26th, so in light of that, I wanted to tell you all why you need to be watching

it because I fell in love with it. The show is essentially a diverse comedy and

I love it with all of my heart, so this video is just gonna be breaking down all

of the reasons you need to be watching this show. Before I do get into that, I do

want to comment on something that I think is extremely important. The show

has a main family that is Cuban and the fact that they are Cuban is a very

crucial part of the show, they make references to it all the time.

The unfortunate thing is that the people who play the main family are actually

not Cuban themselves - they are of different Latinx identities and racial

identities are not interchangeable, so this is a very bad error on the part of

the creators or whoever decided to make this decision. So one of my good friends,

Liv, made two very important Twitter threads talking about this and she is

Cuban herself, so I want to give the spotlight to her because it is not

my lane to discuss, so I will link her Twitter threads in the description below

so that you all can check that out because if you do support this show or

if you're planning on supporting this show after this video, I think that it is

important that you consider these facts and that we are aware that this show did

mess up on this. Now I'm going to change gears and get into all of the reasons

you need to be watching it.

Reason number one - intersectional feminism. This show is essentially the

epitome of intersectional feminism. The main character, Penelope, is, like I said,

Cuban so she is a Cuban woman, so right off the bat we have a powerful woman of

color which is kicking off the amazing intersectional feminism of this show. So

Penelope lives with her two children and her mother. Something I loved about the

way the feminism was tackled is that each generation had different views on

it. They each kind of shared their views, so you got different angles at feminism.

I thought that was a really powerful way to talk about it. And then over the

course of the show Penelope makes two strong powerful women friends and both

of them are women of color and one of them is gay, so again there is more

intersectional feminism in that and I just really loved how it was done

because I think that the show really tackled a lot of issues when it came

to sexism and they discussed it in a light manner so it didn't feel

overwhelming, but the themes were still there. And there is one episode at the

beginning that is essentially dedicated to feminism, but I think that one of the

underlying constant themes of the show is feminism because it's something

that's so prevalent in the show. Reason number two - something queer. In this show,

there is a gay main character and I loved how that was done. I just think

that the topic was handled really well and I don't really want to get too into

it because I actually think it's better to see that part of the show just by

watching it, but I just loved how it was done so much and I really think that

they tackled that topic and they handled it very well. That's just another one of

the many things I love about the show. Reason number three - immigration. The way

this show touched on immigration made me cry, like I literally started crying at

some points during it because of how well it handled that topic. Immigration

is a hot topic right now and it's one that needs to be considered and needs to

be considered with care and I think that this show did that so, so well. Reason

number four - social justice warrior. Penelope's daughter, Elena, is essentially

what you would call a social justice warrior. She fights for things like

equality, but she also tackles environmental issues and the importance

of those and I just think that that's also another thing that's handled really

well because whereas her family and such joke around about it a lot, they

still accept the fact that those are things that are important to her and I

think that that's really important to showcase, so it's just another one of the

amazing things about this show. Reason number five - the relationship dynamics.

The relationship dynamics are done so well in this show and I'm talking

primarily family dynamics, but I also mean friendship dynamics, romantic

relationship dynamics - just all of it is done so well because everyone in the

show is really just supporting each other most of the time. They just all

love each other so much and it's just so nice to see that kind of pure

unconditional love between a group of people and I just think that it's so

important to see and, again, it's just another one of the amazing things I love

about this show. Okay, so I simplified this to five reasons you should watch

the show, but in reality there are so many more. I highly recommend this show,

but do keep in mind the error they made in casting and please read Liv's thread

before going into the show. But these five reasons are

some of many more and I highly recommend that you watch this show because it's

essentially the diverse comedy we all need. But that's about it for this video.

Thank you all so much for watching. I hope you enjoyed it - if you did, please

give it a like and subscribe because that stuff makes me happy. And go ahead

and comment down below if you have watched this show - what's your favorite

aspect about it? if you haven't tell me if you are planning to or if you are not

planning to. As usual, all of my social media and my Goodreads will be in the

description below if you'd like to follow me anywhere else. Thank you all so

much for watching. I hope you're having a lovely doing that wherever you are.

Please remember you're beautiful and you deserve the world and I will see you

soon with a brand new video. Goodbye!

Alright, that's our Torah portion for this week. Flash forward hundreds of years into the future.

Pro Headshots with your Smartphone in 6 Easy Steps - Duration: 2:30.

I'm going to show you 6 tips on how to capture a professional profile picture with one of

these.

Three things to keep in mind.

Number 1: context

You want to think about what's this photo for.

Is it for a headshot, is it for Facebook, is it for LinkedIn.

If we're talking about LinkedIn profile you want to dress appropriately.

Think about going to a job interview.

If you're a lawyer you need to wear a suit.

If you're a graphic designer you wear something a bit more casual.

You want to dress appropriately for the industry you're in.

Number 1: confidence

You want to show up to this photo nice and tall.

Address the camera straight on and look into the lens.

Number 3: smile

It's really important to smile in your LinkedIn profile.

Think about something funny that recently happened and have that in your mind while

your smiling and looking at the camera.

3 technical things to keep in mind.

Number 1: lighting

I can't stress how important lighting is.

When you go to get your photograph professionally taken at a studio they have a big umbrella

and that's an area light.

How that differs from you home is, most light bulbs around the house are point lights.

And they cause really harsh shadows on your face, which don't look good.

So what do you do when your at home?

Well, you can just stand next to a window.

Standing next to a window gives you nice soft shadows.

As long as your not standing directly in the sun.

Light direction is also really important.

You want to think about Rembrandt Lighting.

If you don't know what Rembrandt Lighting is, Google it, study it, and copy it.

Number 2: lens

Another thing a professional photographer brings to the table is a really high end camera

and a really long lens.

You can actually replicate that with your mobile phone.

It just means you have to stand further away from your subject and zoom in.

If you capture a photo where the camera is too close to the face which usually means

your on a wide lens, it distorts all the features.

A way to avoid this is to stand really far away from your subject and zoom in.

This is going to compress all the facial features and make the face look more esthetically pleasing.

Number 3: framing

You want the viewers focus to be on your face and not the background.

So make sure your shooting in front of a plain background.

White walls work great.

Or if it's a scenery, office, or outdoors, just make sure the background is not in focus.

In terms of cropping, make sure there is enough room below your chest and above your head.

You can always make that creative decision later as to how you want to crop in on your

face.

And those are 6 easy steps on how to get a pro photo with one of these.

Using the new Google Search Console - Duration: 5:48.

Hi there!

I'm Benjamin from Loves Data and in this video we're going to explore the new version of

Google Search Console.

We're going to look at the new interface, the most important changes you should be aware

of and how you can use the 'Performance' report to optimize the content on your website.

The new version is rolling out globally and Google says it's been designed to "simplify

the process of optimizing a website's presence on Google Search".

So let's take a look at the new Google Search Console and how we can use it.

Let's get started!

// Here's a quick summary of the changes you'll see in the new Google Search Console...

It's a complete redesign to make it easier to optimize your website.

There's now 16 months of data available which means you can perform year on year comparisons.

If there is a problem indexing pages on your website, you'll be given details about the

issue and the URLs effected.

There are new options for validating and checking fixes you've applied to your website.

You can now share reports with other people in your organization.

Now let's head to Google Search Console...

The first thing you'll notice is how clean and streamlined the interface is - it's much

easier to get to the information you need.

On the 'Status' page you'll see an overview of your website's performance for the last

3 months.

Let's open the 'Performance' report...

You will see a summary for the key metrics at the top of the report.

You can see total clicks, impressions, average click-through rate and average position.

You can click on each of these metrics to include them in the reporting table.

At the top of the report you can modify the data that's included...

By default you'll be viewing data for web search results over the last 3 month, but

you can click on these to change them.

For example, you can click on 'search type', to then view data for image and video search

results...

And you can change the date range of the report to use other pre-defined ranges, like the

'last 12 months' or even all the available data.

You can also use the 'compare' option to compare two date ranges to each other in the report.

This is a great way to see if metrics and performance are improving.

You can also focus the report further by clicking 'New'.

For example, you can choose to focus on a particular country or device.

The table includes search queries by default, but you can also select the 'Pages', 'Countries'

and 'Devices' tabs to update the report.

So what do you think of the changes to Google Search Console?

I'd love to know!

Now let's head back to the 'Status' page...

Below 'Performance' is 'Index Coverage', this shows you how many pages are being indexed,

along with any errors.

And 'Enhancements' highlights ways to improve your website's appearance in search results,

for example errors and warnings about AMP pages.

Now that we're familiar with the new interface, let's look at how we can actually use the

'Performance' report in Google Search Console.

We're going to look at how we can use the report to optimize our content.

Here's what we need to do...

Step 1.

After you've selected your website in Search Console we need to open the the 'Performance'

report.

Step 2.

At the top of the report make sure that 'Clicks', 'Impressions', 'CTR' and 'Position' are all

selected.

This gives you all of the available data within the report.

Step 3.

You will now see the search queries with the most clicks at the top of the report.

Spend time identifying search queries that are relevant to your business that have a

lower than expected CTR.

I'd recommend starting with ones that have a CTR that is less than 6 percent.

This will give you a list of search queries that you can then use to optimize your content.

Also keep an eye out for search queries that have a strong CTR, but aren't showing an average

position in the top 10 organic results.

There might be opportunities to optimize for these search queries too.

Step 4.

Click on the search query that you want to optimize.

This will show you the page (or pages) to review.

Make a note of the pages you want to optimize.

Step 5.

Now it's time to repeat this process for your landing pages.

To do this select the 'Pages' tab above the table.

Look for pages that have a lower CTR (I'd recommend below 4 percent).

If you notice a page that has a high CTR, but a low average position, these are worth

taking a note of too.

You will now have a list of pages that you can optimize in order to increase their CTR.

Next you'll need to review the page titles and descriptions.

The aim here is to make them as relevant as you can to the search queries people are using

on Google.

The more relevant they are, the higher the CTR and the more likely your website will

be higher in the organic rankings.

You might decide to edit your page titles and descriptions to make them more relevant

and compelling for your audience.

You might also want to make changes to the content on the page too.

I recommend documenting the changes you make so that you can check back to see what you've

changed and if the changes are achieving results.

// So that's how you can use the new Google Search Console to identify pages to optimize

on your website.

The new interface is streamlined and easy to use, and with the ability to view 16 months

of data, Google Search Console has become even more useful for improving content.

What do you think of the new Google Search Console?

Do you like the changes?

I'd love to know!

Let me know in the comments below!

And if you found this video helpful, then please like it, so I know to make more videos

like this.

See you next time!

The Quest to Unravel The Connectome - Duration: 8:31.

What we're trying to do here is...

understand the brain on its own terms.

The brain, certainly our brain, is...

certainly the most complex thing that we know.

And its complexity is first and foremost...

the immense number of connections between brain cells.

Of all brain structures, the neocortex is...

likely the one that makes us more human.

And there's this idea that it's made of...

these canonical circuits that are conserved over areas and over species so...

in order to understand them...

it's important to understand the relationship between...

the structure of these circuits and their function.

We're looking at a bit of the brain that is a cubic millimeter.

And in that cubic millimeter...

there are a hundred thousand neurons...

a hundred thousand brain cells...

and here's the amazing thing...

there are 1 billion connections.

A cubic millimeter is about the size of a grain of sand.

But now imagine a grain of sand that has...

a hundred thousand neurons that talk with each other...

over a billion synapses and use...

use four kilometers of cable to do so.

Now imagine sectioning that grain of sand...

25,000 times...

and imagine the frustration of...

if you are almost to the end...

and you loose two sections in a row...

you need to start from the beginning.

This is the challenge that we face...

when we prepare our samples,

when we section them...

and when we image them.

That's the sword that hangs over our neck...

every step of the way.

It feels like doing the impossible...

because no one's done it yet.

It's this great problem that...

people have been trying to answer...

for a very long time.

And now the technology has caught up to where...

we can actually do it.

It seems feasible.

And I think that was the theme of phase one of this project was:

Can it be done?

And the answer was yes.

And so now here we are...

with this big data set that we have to produce.

In order to see those 1 billion synapses...

we have to take about a quarter billion pictures.

So we are taking just an astonishing number of...

pixels -- of pictures of the brain...

because we need to see these super tiny things...

that are on the scale of...

tens of molecules across.

they're really, really tiny.

So we get a mouse from Baylor and...

Baylor had recorded from...

all the hundred thousand neurons in a cubic millimeter.

We then prepared these Mouse for electron microscopy.

We section it into 25,000 slices...

that are 40 nanometers,

a fifth of the thickness of a human hair,

and we distribute these 25,000 slices...

over five microscopes...

we image them for four to six months...

we then reassemble all this volume...

which now is 250 million images, or so...

and we deliver this to Princeton.

So now Princeton goes and segments...

every and each one of those 100,000 neurons...

every micron of the four kilometers of axon that are on this volume...

finds all the connections between these neurons...

and delivers back a wiring diagram...

and the morphology of these neurons.

So now, with this...

you can go back and pick up the volume...

with the live image neurons...

and put these two things together.

For every neuron...

that we see in the electron microscopy volume --

we know exactly how it responded to a visual stimulus...

when it was alive in the brain of this mouse.

Some of the challenges I feel that this team has are:

every step of the way can't fail.

And so it starts with getting the mouse from Baylor.

Their imaging and their surgery has to be on point.

And when that Mouse gets handed to us...

the histology team has to make sure...

you know, the tissue is processed perfectly.

and then when it gets handed to the sectioning team...

you know, we can't have any consecutive loss at all in 25,000 sections.

Which is huge.

You can't lose two sections in a row...

which is a big challenge.

And then when you get to the imaging side...

you have to be able to image consecutively...

and again you can't miss anything.

And then when it gets handed off to the image processing team...

you know, every section has to be...

stitched and aligned and put together.

So when we hand it off to Princeton...

they have the best images they could possibly have...

for them to be able to do segmentation.

Getting everything to work together...

to do something this big...

it's not just doing the same thing a hundred times...

it's making sure when you...

do the same amount of work a hundred times that...

you make no mistakes...

that nothing's left lying on the floor...

and then the other big challenge is...

analyzing all the data.

And that's where our tremendous collaborators at Princeton, and also at Google....

are helping with analyzing all the data.

When we first saw that images come from Princeton...

after they finish their segmentations...

and we got to see what the data set looked like...

it was incredible...

just to be able to see how much was there.

So we've a network of three pyramidal cells...

and about five chandelier cells...

See, this this is the beauty of it.

This is six months of someone's life at least -- a couple years ago.

In a year from now...

we expect to have for the first time...

a volume that'll allow us to look at...

this circuit in the mouse...

And part of what happened over the last year and a half...

is that -- not only did we build a pipeline that allows us to collect...

these data sets in such a short period of time,

these datasets that are petabytes -- but at the same time...

by working tightly with our collaborators in Princeton...

we also optimized this pipeline...

so we can reconstruct them in comparable amounts of time.

so we're talking now about a year instead of...

tens and tens and tens of years of human annotation.

At the end of this huge

process we have these wonderful three-dimensional images of neurons the

completeness and complexity of which no one has ever seen.

15, 12 years ago we got the first glimmer that...

we might be able to do stuff like this.

and now with everybody working together...

we're doing it.

and it just couldn't be more satisfying or more fun.
