Kyle Rowe started a Cover of the Year tag, and I wasn't gonna do it cuz I've bought

almost no books from 2017.

The only book I have on my pull list is Wonder Woman, and I haven't bothered reading it

for about four years.

I have it on my list to keep the list open, (I need a monthly book to keep it open) cuz

I know Wonder Woman will never be canceled, cuz the rights for the character revert back

to the Marston estate when DC stops publishing it.

So my list can stay open in perpetuity.

So this is the best regular cover of the current Wonder Woman run, which for me, by default

is the best cover of 2017.

It's a nice iconic cover, at least.

And my best find of 2017 is also a Wonder Woman.

(I've found higher-dollar, more in-demand books, but this is one I haven't shown.)

I initially didn't pick this up.

I'd just been to my comic book store, where all the regular employees know that I don't

like my comics to be mangled.

The girls sorta giggle that I'm so careful, but I'm like Laugh Away, Ladies, cuz I'm

not paying the Canadian equivilant of cover price for these books if they're all V-effed

Up.

But I get some douche who's new...Grab, Crush.

Ooohhhh.

It wasn't even a new book, it was from the two dollar bin.

I don't give a care!

Don't manhandle my mags!

After that, I go to an antique mall where there's a bunch of overpriced crap.

One booth, the guy has stuff in piles, he has books in bags that're so old, stiff

and crusty, I guess he thinks they don't require backboards.

Y'know, old bags with brand new, ebay priced stickers.

He's got the boxes labeled by character, and I see a Wonder Woman short box.

I flip through and they're mostly three dollars, and pull one out, and the bottom's

all screwed.

I pull out another one, same thing.

I get to this comic, and it's a black cover, and if I find that it's damaged, I'm-a

kick over the card table these short boxes sit on.

I'm so sick of seeing beat-to-shit books.

Instead, I don't even check it, I just walk out.

But then, over the summer, I showed them off in another video, I picked up a bunch of Wondies

for 2.50 a piece at my local flea market, and most of those were VF.

So I'm thinking, ah, next time I go back to that antique mall, if it's still there,

I'll pick up that Wonder Woman.

Next time I go, the guy who owns the booth is there to restock.

He's got a big wad of books with round stickers, which means he picked them up for a dollar

a piece 40 minutes away at the warehouse of love.

Who knows what he'll mark them up to.

So he's like, are you looking for anything in particular?

Oh, well you had a Wonder Woman box here, I don't see it.

Oh, well I take some of the stuff out on the road.

Okay, so the one I want's long gone.

But the next time I'm there, the Wonder Woman box is there, the book is there, it's

in NM, it's 3.50, and I get it.

That was a long story.

How to Sew an Invisible Zip | Teach Me Fashion - Duration: 3:54.

Hi guys you're watching Teach Me Fashion. In today's tutorial I'm going to be showing you how to sew in an invisible zip.

To make it super easy for you to follow, I've broken down the process into five simple steps.

This is what you need to get started

So before I go any further if you haven't already hit the subscribe button

Let's get started

Step 1 pinning in the zip.

Okay, so grab your zip making sure that the zip is facing down and the fabric is facing up. you need to pin from the top down

Making sure that the teeth are sitting flush with the crease of the fabric.

Make sure when you're pinning that the pins are facing parallel to the zip.

This makes it a lot easier for you to remove the pins when you're sewing .

Make sure that the pull of the zip is sitting underneath the opening of the seam.

If your zip is longer than the allowed opening. That is okay

You can always cut your zipper to size when you finish.

Step 2 Sewing in the first side

Place the zip under the foot of your machine, making sure that the needle is in the right position.

and the foot is right up against the teeth.

I always find it easier to put the needle in the fabric first before you start sewing, just to secure the zip into position.

As you sew, remove the pins and roll back the teeth of the zip. You'll be able to feel this with your fingers.

Make sure to back tack at the start and at the end to secure the zip in place.

Step 3 Checking the zip

Make sure that the zip is sitting nicely and that there's no creases in the fabric.

Turn the fabric over and have a look at the seam, making sure that the thread tension is okay too.

Step 4 Pinning in the other side

Like the first side you need to have the zip facing down and the fabric facing up.

Line up the zip so that it is sitting nicely ready for you to pin.

Pin again parallel to the zip making it easy for you to remove the pins as you're sewing.

Step 5 Sewing in the last side

Place the zip and the fabric underneath the machine foot.

Making sure that the machine foot is right up against the teeth of the zip as you sew make sure you're getting

Right up close to those teeth and making sure that you're pulling them back with your fingers.

Back tack at the start and at the end and remove the pins as you go.

Dollar Hair Dye: Dollar Tree Gold? - Duration: 12:59.

everybody welcome back to my channel so today's videos Dollar Tree gold and it

is on the color ease permanent cream hair color I do a doll tree gold every

yeah I'm gonna go ahead and try this color easy permanent cream hair color I

did get it in medium Auburn so we shall see guys I did do a little difference in

lighting so let me know down below in the comment section if you like it

okay so I did get two boxes because my hair is about shoulder length guys I try

to address a little yeah I don't like always wearing tank tops on camera but I

did want to not ruin my clothes okay so it does come with instructions a pair of

gloves hello cream and the developer okay so

we're just gonna go ahead and put on a pair of gloves first thing and guys

these aren't like the best gloves in the world this is a dollar okay but you know

I do appreciate that they do include gloves

just go ahead and screw the lid off and it does have like the little thing that

you poke into the foil to get it you guys it's just like a regular and just

squeeze color into the developer okay everybody so I got both bottles done I

just need to shake them up and I also have here some salon selective's

conditioner and this is from Dollar Tree as well I'm just going to go ahead and

just a little bit you don't need very much I'm just going to put it in the

ends of my hair and a little bit on my bangs okay so this is just gonna keep

that color from grabbing too much onto those ends and getting too dark and guys

I do like to do this with any kind of hair color I'm using not just with

cheaper

and I also didn't wash my hair last night it's not looking so great but you

know

so I do have craze you know I am getting a little bit up there in age and just

I'm going to bring my babies down a little bit just hit those ends

okay just hurry up and clip off

put my clothes back on and get ready to shake cake okay so this color that it is

a permanent color

the instructions say to leave on for 45 minutes or part really quick got some

chopstick here to put this log up my hairline just so that way any easy for

that guy to come off I do get some room my hairline

so I got my hair done like it's all applied I just used a small like little

cleansing wipe to remove any excess that I got on my skin I do want to get it

want to definitely condition your hair after right after you've dyed it if you

don't it will actually start it will continue to develop and your hair will

actually end up darker and then you want

looking good they're not too dark the roots are looking good okay guys I'm

gonna hurt them blow dry it and we'll see what it looks like when it's dry I'm

to me personally it doesn't look like a $2.00 height a $2 dye job

is I think it turned out really really pretty I'm actually very pleasantly

surprised I would definitely buy the color easy permanent cream hair color

again so every dollar tree that I've been to does carry the color easy

permanent cream hair color but they only have like three shades so they have like

the Auburn which is what I used and then they have the blonde and like a dark

brown that looks almost black so they do have a very very slim color choice but

honestly I mean for someone like me that just wants to enhance my like my own

natural hair color and cover some Gray's I mean and turned out beautiful

I absolutely love it not really really gorgeous I like it a lot and then you

know but I also definitely do think you know the prep and then the aftercare

really made a difference so you know putting a little bit of conditioner in

my ends I think you know before applying the dye I think that definitely helped

I definitely think putting a heavy duty hair conditioner after I rinse it out

definitely did help because it did not come with one so I know like I've used

is it the Revlon like the $4 one at Walmart color silk Revlon color so yeah

anyway I've used that before and it will come like with a little like squeezy

tube of aftercare hair conditioner this doesn't it just comes with the color

cream the developer instructions and gloves so but guys I think for a dollar

a box I don't think that the but it could have turned

out any better it looks really really beautiful I'm really really impressed so

guys the color easy permanent cream hair color is a big giant dollar treat gold

double thumbs up I think if there is I have shade that you like to try if you

are kind of an Auburn or redhead I definitely do think that you know that

Auburn Shea would definitely work out for you and I think you know if you are

dark-haired then I think you know the brunette shade would definitely work I'm

not sure with blonde guys I've never gone there never done that oh I'm not

going to suggest that you know but you know definitely go to your local Dollar

Tree check it out see what they have to offer

I would also definitely make sure you check the box to make sure that you know

all the products are in there I did check a box or two and there was like

missing developer so make sure that you open up the box check to make sure that

everything's inside there before you buy it but guys for a dollar spent

bucks I already have the hair conditioners already hit the blow-dryer

so like I said guys I really don't think that this looks like a $2.00 dye job so

like my sideburns and stuff I mean like it just yeah it turned out looking

really nice so guys I am impressed I'm very
