Youtube daily report w Jul 2 2018

Robert Mueller Just Got Some Very Bad News

For the last 12 months, special counsel Robert Mueller has run an out-of-control and unaccountable

witch hunt against Donald Trump.

He's abused his power by straying far beyond the scope of his mandate.

But Mueller's days could be numbered because he just got some very bad news.

Donald Trump was furious when news broke that the FBI had raided his lawyer's home and

office regarding payments made to two women who claimed they had affairs with Trump after

receiving information from Robert Mueller.

This was a transparent attempt by Mueller to expand the scope of his investigation because

it obviously falls outside his mandate of Russian meddling in the 2016 election.

Speculation immediately began to float around Washington that Trump was on the verge of

firing Mueller.

But can Trump fire Mueller?

Or can only the Justice Department official overseeing the investigation – in this case

Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein – sack the special counsel?

Press Secretary Sarah Sanders answered that question when she declared that Trump indeed

has the power to fire Mueller on his own.

The Wall Street Journal reports:

"The White House said Tuesday that President Donald Trump believes he has the authority

to fire special counsel Robert Mueller, as lawmakers from both parties warned against

doing so one day after the FBI raided properties tied to the president's longtime lawyer.

Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R., Ky.) said that Mr. Mueller "should be allowed

to finish his job," though he rebuffed calls for legislation to protect the special counsel.

Sen. Chuck Grassley (R., Iowa), chairman of the Judiciary Committee, said on CNN that

it would be "suicide" for Mr. Trump to fire the special counsel.

Mr. Trump's press secretary, Sarah Huckabee Sanders, said the president "certainly believes

he has the power" to fire Mr. Mueller directly.

The special prosecutor is examining Russia's alleged meddling in the 2016 presidential

campaign and whether associates of Mr. Trump colluded with Moscow.

Mr. Trump and Russian officials have denied the allegations.

Ms. Sanders's comment was a departure from the more measured responses that the administration

has given to such questions in the past.

In late March, after Mr. Trump criticized Mr. Mueller on Twitter, White House lawyer

Ty Cobb issued a statement that said the president was "not considering or discussing" firing

the special counsel.

Ms. Sanders said the White House had consulted with legal experts, including those at the

Justice Department, on the president's power to fire the special counsel.

Ms. Sanders didn't say the president would take such action.

Still, she said: "I think the president has been clear that he feels this has gone

too far."

The special counsel is out of control.

His investigation has yielded no evidence of collusion or obstruction of justice.

One year of this nonsense is enough.

EGYPT 2018: 18000 DOLLARS WHY I DID NOT LEAVE? EGYPTIAN CRUELNESS (English subtitles) - Duration: 10:34.

it's worse than Nazi Germany they their children

scare "Ebra" if the child does it wrongly. They take a needle and say Ebra and prick with a needle.

I understand that after watching this video, many will say

not only after watching this video but about seeing that I'll shoot

soon about labor and many say that's stupid and that you suffered and

why did not you just leave? I do not know, I do not know why it happened and I do not know why

so it turned out and maybe from the fact that there was no money because of the fact that it is possible

my grandmother and mother came here I did not have the financial capacity at all even

to leave. I always told my mom: Mom please let's go

let's go moms please when you want to take me please with

you. It got to the point even before I just could not leave

I accordingly there is nothing left here I had nothing

I was completely dependent on him, he practically nothing

did not make money and why did it happen that my family could not

I do not know why I could not help but I will not say for the fact that I do not know what

my family had an intention why it happened so why no one just does not

did not buy tickets and did not say gala just take Denis and leave from here I do not know

I do not know what happened and I do not have any explanations for this.

I think I think that I just got

there were such circumstances that I just got there I did not have the opportunity to leave

and when here there was an opportunity when the daddy to me has brought here these 18 thousand

I was afraid to go all the way, that is, I was afraid to go there from

because I did not know how I would live at all, I do not know why I did not

left and when I had these 18 thousand I do not know

probably because I knew that this is the only 18000 and I can not that is

I was not yet sure the last time I drove my husband away

I gave him the ultimatum that I will not live with him, I already have an internal

confidence that I can manage and that I can already live without him. I can.

Those. how much for these years this feeling was being killed. in general this idiocy in principle

when you live 30 years of your life you live and do not count on anyone

itself you live. Itself decides what to do, and what not to do is going somewhere you give birth to even children

you provide them that is you live a full life then you get

married and for some 10 years. Not some kind of a long time

you are simply turning into nothingness, not just that you are turning into nothingness

and you are psychologically destroyed destroyed by the fact that the man your husband, he inflates himself

that all that he does is easy. No one will ever take care of you as

I care nobody will care. It's so overwhelming that you're

you really start to perceive the world as he and him serves because

you are always at home. You are always with children and here he is roughly speaking as such

God understands the broadcaster understands he comes from the street and starts to broadcast

that he considers it necessary that the information that he provides is beneficial to him and

and when you decide to engage with him and so I left him repeatedly and

then I returned to him because there was no financial independence

I was not ready and then there comes a moment when you feel that you are ready

morally. Gritting his teeth as you like. I will live without him I will live without him I do not need him

I do not need him at all never for all his attitude because of his relationship with his family for

how they treated during this whole time Dany, my mother

to my grandmother that is it is so much all under from it all you realize and you understand that

never. I will dig the earth with my nose. I will eat the land. to you never

I will not even come close. I do not even want you close. never. that's when you realize it

especially for me was the main thing is to get rid of him

physically that he was not in the apartment and only after he left the apartment

I started to return myself and started scrolling all the things in my mind

replay them to see how he imagined everything and how it all was

lies all this. That's all this is all our whole life

why did he have such confidence that I would never leave him already

He had complete confidence and world

which he created in my head by his lies

And so for me the most important last time when I drove him literally

for me it was the most important thing to get rid of him physically. So he doesn't

was present in the apartment it turned out to be true and now this influence has gone and this

the impact of it is gone and I have to rethink the whole life laid out on the shelves

passed with him, I already understand what was said as what it was generally that it

was for life, people pursued what goals

I already have it all decomposed and many things that are added to me

even no surprise, I'm just reporting them on

polochki understanding and all and the more you impose on these shelves

That you understand more that never this level never never me, never my kids

never in my life is such a colossal experience

this is such inhumanity is such a cruelty in

against women and children that simply never will. This is completely

the destruction of the person of his personality and individuality.

destruction. These are people who do not have any human reactions

people who lack pity to people who lack elementary

kindness to women who can calmly hit a woman, a child and they

they do not have anything human even the animals do not treat this so simply

inhumanity to watch children sit without food watch

as there is no meal, a pregnant woman sits and does not buy anything. this is not

animal is worse it is people inhuman people who

I remember when long ago we lived in the Sidi Bisher where we saw one man

he sold water heaters. He had a small plumbing shop

and when he saw us. He said what are you doing here? what are you doing? Leave, leave

from here now these people say they are "BAKHILI" (greedy), his mother he says "BAKHILYA" that is

greedy it says terrible people go away from here leave. But we did not

understood this eerie level. in no way am I just girls of you

women are warned here is anyone a doctor engineers anything, but never in this

level do not believe this creepy people this creepy people they

maybe it's worse than Nazi Germany they scare their children

"Ebra", "Ebra" if the child does something wrong, they take a needle and stab with a needle

if the child does not obey, they tell him now i will bring "SHAMMA"

Shamma is a candle and can be burned by a hot fire

to scare that he obeyed. horrible people, I just do not advise anyone for today everything

I already talk and remember this I can not. Good mood to you all. See you

How To Write Unit Tests For Unity ECS Code - Duration: 10:17.

Automated testing is a tricky subject to cover, especially in game development.

Some developers swear by writing automated tests while others think it's a complete

waste of time.

That is not what this video is about.

In this video I'm simply gonna show you how I write tests for Unity ECS code.

Now, bear in mind that Unity ECS is still in its infancy, so some of the code here is

subject change.

Well, without further ado, let's get right into the example.

This video assumes that you have a basic understanding of Unity ECS.

If you don't, you should check out my video called "What is Unity ECS?".

That should get you on the right track.

To keep this video as simple as possible, we'll be writing tests for a system that

comes prepackaged with Unity ECS.

Let's press play now and use the entity debugger to check out Unity's built-in systems

so we can get a better idea of what we'll need to get started.

Without writing any code, Unity has already generated a world for us called "Default

World", and populated it with a number of systems.

Clicking on a particular system within the entity debugger reveals what kind of entities

it operates on.

The one that we'll be testing in this video is the MoveForwardSystem.

Systems operate selectively on a subset of entities based on their components.

The move forward system operates on all entities that match either one of the following component

archetypes.

The first consists of the MoveForward, MoveSpeed, Position, and Rotation components.

And the second consists of the MoveForward, MoveSpeed, Position, and Heading components.

The Rotation and Heading components are used to represent the forward vector of the entity.

The MoveSpeed component is used to determine how fast the entity should move forward.

And the MoveForward component simply acts as a tag.

During each frame the MoveForwardSystem calculates a new value for each entity's Position component

using the entity's forward vector and speed.

This causes the entity to, well, move forward.

Our tests will focus on entities with the second archetype.

To get started let's create a folder to hold our tests.

I'll call it "Tests".

Next let's create an assembly definition file that we can use to define how our tests

should be compiled.

I'll call this "Tests" too so it matches the folder name.

Now we need to make sure it's configured as a test assembly so Unity doesn't include

it in any of the player builds.

We can do this by clicking on the assembly file and toggling the "Test Assemblies"

checkbox in the inspector.

Because these will be editor tests, we'll want to make sure that this assembly is only

included in the editor.

So scroll down to platforms, toggle the "Select All" checkbox, uncheck "Any Platform",

and then toggle the checkbox next to "Editor".

We're almost ready to write some code.

We just need to include a few assemblies so they'll be available to our test classes.

The assemblies we need are Unity.Entities

Unity.Entities.Test Unity.Mathematics

And Unity.Transforms.

Now we're ready to write our first test!

Create a class called "MoveForwardSystemTests" and open it in your IDE now.

I've cleared out all of the boilerplate code that's created by Unity so we can have

a clean starting point.

The first thing we'll want to do is mark this class with the TestFixture attribute

since it'll be holding multiple tests.

Now we can leverage a special test fixture class that's included in the Unity.Entities.Tests

package.

The ECSTestFixture generates a test world and an entity manager, and stores them in

protected field variables that we can use throughout our tests.

The last thing we should do before we write our first test is add a category to the test

fixture.

This'll allow us to filter the test runner so it'll be easier to find our tests.

Now we can write our first test.

This one will be base case that we'll use to get us started.

I'll call it "when move speed equals zero then entity doesn't move".

There are dozens of naming conventions for tests, so if this one doesn't float your

boat go ahead and call it whatever you'd like.

Now let's go ahead and create an entity using the archetype we saw earlier.

Again, this variable, m_Manager, is provided by the base class.

It holds an instance of the entity manager that belongs to the test world.

Our entity will should have the following components.

MoveForward, MoveSpeed, Position, and Heading.

Now let's give our entity's components some values so it's clear what this method

is testing.

Remember, this is a base case so all of the values should be set to zero.

Alright, we've completed the "arrange" step of our test.

Now we can act on our system by using the World variable, which comes from the base

class and holds an instance of the test world, to create a move forward system and call it's

Update method.

Now we can assert that that entity hasn't moved by checking its current position.

Perfect!

Our first test is complete.

Let's switch back to the editor and run it.

Beautiful.

Now we can switch back to the IDE and write one more test.

This one will test actual forward movement.

I'll call it "when move speed equals one then entity moves forward."

And I'm just going to copy and paste code from our base case test.

We want to test forward movement so the first thing we need to change is the move speed.

I'll set it equal to one, just like the name implies.

Now we need to give our entity a direction to move in.

I'll initialize the Heading component so the entity moves along the x axis.

Lastly we need to update our assert.

Since the entity should now be moving along the x-axis at a rate of one unit per second,

and the the move forward system uses delta time to calculate position, we know that the

value of x should be equal to delta time.

And that's all there is to it.

Let's switch back to the editor and re-run the tests.

Beautiful.

If you'd like to learn more about Unity ECS, then I highly recommend checking out

ECS.

1 tier of the flower consists of 5 petals

Each petal consists of two parts, folded of satin and brocade ribbons

We put the brocade tape loop, combining the corners of the edges of the tape

The resulting triangle is turned over from above, so he looked down.

Bend the ends of the tape down, combining with the top of the triangle, and fix in this position

Stab with needles

Similarly, we add a segment of satin ribbon...

Sew the workpiece on the bottom, making 8 punctures with a needle, and picking up necessarily two superimposed on each other corner of the satin ribbon

On the same thread sew two more petals

Contractible thread with 3 petals, tie. We got the top tier of the flower.

Prepare the stamens. I have there is 6 white stamens, will do still 6 silver coin

To do this, we need glitter or eye shadow, and hot glue

We put on a wire or thread a drop of thermo glue, evenly distributing it, giving the shape of the stamen

Dip into Shine or shadows

While the hot melt glue is not frozen, we correct the shape of the stamen

Collect white and silver stamens in a bouquet and fasten with hot glue

One year of this nonsense is enough.

it's worse than Nazi Germany they their children

scare "Ebra" if the child does it wrongly.

Beautiful.

If you'd like to learn more about Unity ECS, then I highly recommend checking out

my tutorial series where I'll show you how to create a survival shooter game using Unity

ECS.

T-Mobile finally starts rolling out Android 8.0 Oreo for LG G6 ● Tech News ● #TECH - Duration: 1:37.

Once again, T-Mobile is the last major carrier in the United States to provide a major Android

update for a flagship.

Earlier today, the Uncarrier finally kicked off the rollout of Android 8.0 Oreo for Samsung

Galaxy S7 and S7 edge after weeks of delays.

Today, another high-end smartphone is getting a similar Android 8.0 Oreo update at T-Mobile

– the LG G6.

As some of you probably know by now, AT&T, Sprint, and Verizon have already released

the update many weeks ago.

In any case, if you own the T-Mobile G6, you'll soon be able to download the update.

According to T-Mobile, in order to prevent network congestion, this particular update

is set on a scheduled daily limit, so it's very possible that some people won't be able

to download it until next week.

However, the daily limit will be lifted on July 30, although there's a high chance that

everyone will get the update on their LG G6 units by then.

Unfortunately, the very short changelog doesn't mention anything else except "various bug

fixes and software improvements," but expect a security patch to be included in the update

as well.

Multiple Sclerosis Symptom and Signs - Part 4 - Mood Swings - Duration: 2:44.

mood swings right emotional lability it's brilliant I hate it that's what

it's like with a mood swing goes flip-flop it doesn't matter just wait

five minutes you'll get another new a mood a nude a mood in a minute it's just

you can flip have you ever watched a commercial well this is how you can

explain this is someone that's a muggle that doesn't have a chronic condition

it's called emotional lability it's not liability I thought it was liability

phrases but it's liability look it up on Google or something if you want to find

out or Wikipedia or something emotional liability and that's where you get a

flip-flop of emotions ideally can be really like there's a meme on the

internet it's like a really love stuff and then I hate it the next moment I

could be really into something and they're like me whatever so I'm either

really love it I'm completely indifferent

I've got no in-between between that so hate it or love it and it can flip mode

oh it happens all the time but the kind of thing that happens to me the kind of

emotional lability flip-flop emotions if you can explain it to someone that

doesn't have this condition because they like if you see one of those cancer

trust cancer research adverts or commercials on the TV and it goes on the

guy looks in the mirror and he can see his mum in the reflection and she's dead

she died a cancer years ago but he can see her in the mirror and it's like a

sob that happens the bills from your chest then you give this about just a

racking with a W racking the SOB just a bag of hmm and then it goes just don't

like that and there is not just sad stuff it's not like feeling really

depressed or feeling really sad or just about a cry it's also like a euphoric

kind of I love everyone I read about and then it goes away completely so you know

if you've ever been drunk or a little bit whatever and someone found you up

and says are we going down the pub there's all the rest of us go in there

do you want to come with me and you're like oh first day definitely

and then it comes around to Thursday like oh shit I wish I hadn't said that

and it's like two days later you know in the mood anymore

it's like that'd be instead of two days later it's two minutes later so you can

agree to do something and even before the conversation is finished you don't

want to go it's madness so emotional lability it's flip-flop of

emotions it's not just bad emotion not just crying but also I could really love

it I hate it is that kind of thing

Blind Deaf Man Struggles On Plane When 15-Yr-Old Walks Over For Sight Passengers Can't Ignore - Duration: 3:10.

SUBSCRIBE TO OUR CHANNEL FOR MORE !

Blind Deaf Man Struggles On Plane When 15-Yr-Old Walks Over For Sight Passengers Can't Ignore

Oregon resident Lynette Scribner was people watching at Logan International Airport in

Boston, Massachusetts, when something caught her eye.

She tried hard not to stare at first, but the exchange between the two people was captivating.

A man named Tim had been visiting his sister and he appeared to be both deaf and blind.

Lynette reached this conclusion after watching his sister sign into his hand so he could

feel her words.

Lynette was surprised when Tim not only boarded her flight, but was assigned to the middle

seat in her row.

But he was traveling alone.

The man with the aisle seat in their row graciously gave up his seat for Tim, but the compassion

shown to this man did not end there.

Tim needed help, but the flight attendants could not assist him.

Tim was desperate.

He reached out to touch the flight attendants' faces and arms, and while they clasped his

hand in return, their attempts to exchange communications wouldn't work at all, Lynette

noted.

"He had some verbal ability, but clearly could not understand them.

The man who had given up his seat did his best to assist him with things like opening

coffee creamer and putting it in his coffee."

The flight attendants decided to page the passengers on the intercom and see if anyone

on board their flight knew sign language.

Blessedly, a timid 15-year-old emerged from among the crowd.

Clara Daly was traveling with her mother Jane from Boston to Los Angeles on an Alaska Airlines

six-hour flight that included a layover in Portland, Oregon.

As fate would have it, the California teen was on Tim's flight.

Clara had learned American Sign Language because she has dyslexia and claims it was the easiest

foreign language for her to learn.

After willingly volunteering to help Tim however she could for the remainder of the flight,

she then focused solely on Tim and his every need.

"It was fascinating to watch as she signed one letter at a time into his hand.

He was able to 'read' her signing and they carried on an animated conversation.

When he asked her if she was pretty, she blushed and laughed as the seat mate, who had learned

a few signs, communicated an enthusiastic yes to Tim.

I don't know when I've ever seen so many people rally to take care of another human being."

People in the seats surrounding Tim and Clara couldn't help but smile along with the pair

as they communicated in their own way.

Lynette said it was clear Tim was thrilled to have someone he could talk to, someone

who would help him.

"I can't say enough about this beautiful young woman named Clara who didn't think twice about

helping her fellow passenger.

It was a beautiful reminder, in this time of too much awfulness, that there are still

good, good people who are willing to look out for each other."

Alaska Airlines responded to the attention Clara and Tim have received in the media and

noted that she was "such an angel."

When the plane landed, a service provider from the facility where Tim lives was ready

and waiting to help escort him to his home.

Everyone could not believe Tim's story and how a sweet blonde-haired young lady came

to his rescue thousands of feet up in the air.

In fact, Lynette's post has since gone viral and their story has warmed hearts around the

world.

Why Is Sarah Huckabee Sanders Such A Horrible Person? Just Look At Her Dad - Duration: 3:56.

If you've ever actually wondered why Sarah Huckabee Sanders is such a horrible human

being then I suggest you pay about five seconds of attention to her father.

Mike Huckabee, the former governor of Arkansas, when you watch him, when he does interviews,

the things he says, you can see that this guy has absolutely no concern for reality

or the truth and instead basically just makes up whatever comes to his head.

A great example happened this past weekend when Mike Huckabee went on Fox News and he

once again attacked the incivility of the democrats.

Then he claimed that Donald Trump has never ever encouraged violence against anybody that

disagreed with him, which obviously for anyone who hasn't seen it, there is a video clip

going around.

There's actually a link to it in the article which is linked in this description.

Trump has done it repeatedly, more so than anybody else.

Last we checked, including Maxine Waters, nobody on the left has called for any kind

of violence whatsoever against republicans or people that they disagree with.

You see reality didn't matter there to Mike Huckabee and that is exactly where Sarah Huckabee

Sanders gets it.

Her father has been a liar for decades.

He's been in the public eye for decades, first as governor as Arkansas, then as a repeated

failed presidential candidate.

Remember he tried to hitch his evangelical wagon to the woman who refused to issue marriage

licenses to same sex couples because she didn't want to do her job.

Huckabee thought that was going to be great for him, but unfortunately Ted Cruise snuck

in and got there before he did.

That's the kind of person Huckabee's always been.

Jump on the most disgusting, horrible person you can find if you think it's going to excel

your career, and that is what he did.

His daughter saw that.

His daughter learned from that, and that's why she is the way she is.

Let's not forget that Huckabee is clearly been a horrible parent throughout his kids'

entire childhood because his son, while a counselor, I guess, or whatever you call it,

at Boy Scout camp murdered a dog with a fellow camp counselor that got them both fired and

kicked out of the Boy Scouts.

Unfortunately in that story there's actually not enough information.

We don't know why they actually killed the dog.

We don't even know how they killed the dog.

We just know that the 17 year old David Huckabee, along with his buddy, killed a dog and nobody's

story seemed to match with anybody else's story about the particular incident.

In case you were wondering, yes, that is 100% psychotic behavior and is typically a warning

sign of a very violent and deranged individual.

Mike Huckabee didn't see it like that.

He went out and did media interviews when the story resurfaced in '07-'08 and excused

his son's psychotic behavior trying to write it off as no, no, no.

He was being humane by killing the dog.

That was a good thing he did.

It's not a presidential issue.

It certainly doesn't have any bearing on how I raised my children.

No, but it does.

Every time you see Sarah Huckabee Sanders go out there and lie about something flip

over and watch Mike Huckabee on Fox News because he's going to lie about the same things.

He's going to lie about everything.

He's going to lie about the sky color just because that's the kind of human being he

is.

That is exactly the kind of people that he raised his children to become.

The discoveries awaiting us in the ocean's twilight zone | Heidi M. Sosik - Duration: 10:02.

I bet all of you are familiar with this view of the ocean,

but the thing is,

most of the ocean looks nothing like this.

Below the sunlit surface waters,

there's an otherworldly realm

known as the twilight zone.

At 200 to 1,000 meters below the surface,

sunlight is barely a glimmer.

Tiny particles swirl down through the darkness

while flashes of bioluminescence

give us a clue that these waters teem with life:

microbes, plankton, fish.

Everything that lives here has amazing adaptations

for the challenges of such an extreme environment.

These animals help support top predators such as whales, tuna,

swordfish and sharks.

There could be 10 times more fish biomass here

than previously thought.

In fact, maybe more than all the rest of the ocean combined.

There are countless undiscovered species in deep waters,

and life in the twilight zone is intertwined with earth's climate.

Yet the twilight zone is virtually unexplored.

There are so many things we still don't know about it.

I think we can change that.

I was drawn to oceanography by just this kind of challenge.

To me it represents the perfect intersection

of science, technology and the unknown,

the spark for so many breakthrough discoveries about life on our planet.

As a college student,

I went on an expedition across the Atlantic

with a team of scientists using a high-powered laser

to measure microscopic algae.

The wild thing that happened on that trip

is that we discovered what everyone who looked before had completely missed:

photosynthetic cells smaller than anyone thought possible.

We now know those tiny cells are the most abundant

photosynthetic organisms on earth.

This amazing discovery happened because we used new technology

to see life in the ocean in a new way.

I am convinced that the discoveries awaiting us in the twilight zone

will be just as breathtaking.

We know so little about the twilight zone because it's difficult to study.

It's exceedingly large,

spanning from the Arctic to the Southern Ocean

and around the globe.

It's different from place to place.

It changes quickly as the water and animals move.

And it's deep and dark and cold, and the pressures there are enormous.

What we do know is fascinating.

You may be imagining huge monsters lurking in the deep sea,

but most of the animals are very small,

like this lantern fish.

And this fierce-looking fish is called a bristlemouth.

Believe it or not, these are the most abundant vertebrates on earth

and many are so small that a dozen could fit in this one tube.

It gets even more interesting,

because small size does not stop them from being powerful through sheer number.

Deep, penetrating sonar shows us that the animals form dense layers.

You can see what I mean by the red and yellow colors

around 400 meters in these data.

So much sound bounces off this layer,

it's been mistaken for the ocean bottom.

But if we look, it can't be, because the layer is deep during the day,

it rises up at night

and the pattern repeats day after day.

This is actually the largest animal migration on earth.

It happens around the globe every day,

sweeping through the world's oceans in a massive living wave

as twilight zone inhabitants travel hundreds of meters

to surface waters to feed at night

and return to the relative safety of deeper, darker waters during the day.

These animals and their movements help connect the surface and deep ocean

in important ways.

The animals feed near the surface,

they bring carbon in their food into the deep waters,

where some of that carbon can stay behind

and remain isolated from the atmosphere for hundreds or even thousands of years.

In this way, the migration may help keep carbon dioxide

out of our atmosphere

and limit the effects of global warming on our climate.

But we still have many questions.

We don't know which species are migrating,

what they're finding to eat,

who is trying to eat them

or how much carbon they are able to transport.

So I'm a scientist who studies life in the ocean.

For me, curiosity about these things is a powerful driver,

but there's more to the motivation here.

We need to answer these questions and answer them quickly,

because the twilight zone is under threat.

Factory ships in the open ocean

have been vacuuming up

hundreds of thousands of tons of small, shrimp-like animals called krill.

The animals are ground into fish meal

to support increasing demands for aquaculture

and for nutraceuticals such as krill oil.

Industry is on the brink of deepening fisheries such as these

into the mid-water

in what could start a kind of twilight zone gold rush

operating outside the reach of national fishing regulations.

This could have irreversible global-scale impacts

on marine life and food webs.

We need to get out ahead of fishing impacts

and work to understand this critical part of the ocean.

At Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution,

I'm really fortunate to be surrounded by colleagues who share this passion.

Together, we are ready to launch a large-scale exploration

of the twilight zone.

We have a plan to begin right away

with expeditions in the North Atlantic,

where we'll tackle the big challenges

of observing and studying the twilight zone's remarkable diversity.

This kind of multiscale, multidimensional exploration

means we need to integrate new technologies.

Let me show you a recent example that has changed our thinking.

Satellite tracking devices on animals such as sharks

are now showing us that many top predators

regularly dive deep into the twilight zone to feed.

And when we map their swimming patterns and compare them to satellite data,

we find that their feeding hot spots

are linked to ocean currents and other features.

We used to think these animals found all of their food in surface waters.

We now believe they depend on the twilight zone.

But we still need to figure out how they find the best areas to feed,

what they're eating there

and how much their diets depend on twilight zone species.

We will also need new technologies to explore the links with climate.

Remember these particles?

Some of them are produced by gelatinous animals called salps.

Salps are like superefficient vacuum cleaners,

slurping up plankton and producing fast-sinking pellets of poop --

try saying that 10 times fast --

pellets of poop that carry carbon deep into the ocean.

We sometimes find salps in enormous swarms.

We need to know where and when and why and whether

this kind of carbon sink has a big impact on earth's climate.

To meet these challenges, we will need to push the limits of technology.

We will deploy cameras and samplers on smart robots

to patrol the depths and help us track the secret lives of animals like salps.

We will use advanced sonar

to figure out how many fish and other animals are down there.

We will sequence DNA from the environment in a kind of forensic analysis

to figure out which species are there

and what they are eating.

With so much that's still unknown about the twilight zone,

there's an almost unlimited opportunity for new discovery.

Just look at these beautiful, fascinating creatures.

We barely know them.

And imagine how many more are just down there waiting

for our new technologies to see them.

The excitement level about this could not be higher on our team

of ocean scientists, engineers and communicators.

There is also a deep sense of urgency.

We can't turn back the clock on decades of overfishing

in countless regions of the ocean

that once seemed inexhaustible.

How amazing would it be to take a different path this time?

The twilight zone is truly a global commons.

We need to first know and understand it

before we can be responsible stewards

and hope to fish it sustainably.

This is not just a journey for scientists,

it is for all of us,

because the decisions we collectively make

over the next decade

will affect what the ocean looks like

for centuries to come.

Thank you.

(Applause)

Top 10 Scary Road Trip Stories - Duration: 12:38.

Hello and welcome back to the Most Amazing channel on the internet.

I am your host, Rebecca Felgate and today we're talking about the top 10 scary road

trip stories!

I love a good road trip!

The best I have ever taken was probably from Tucson Arizona to San Francisco, stopping

at the Grand Canyon, Vegas and Venice beach in between!

The scariest thing I saw on that trip was a tumbleweed….

But for the people in the stories on this list, things were a little more terrifying!

Before we get into the list – why don't you let me know your ideal road trip jaunt

in the comments section down below.

10 - The Delivery Man Of course, this creepy story happened around

Death Valley – a hot hot hot and sparse sparse sparse desert in East California.

This story comes from a Reddit user who shares an experience their parents had around 20

years ago.

They said that their parents were planning on a weekend trip to a hotel around 30 minutes

outside of Death Valley town, right in the middle of the desert.

When they got to the place they were staying it looked totally …totally abandoned.

The dad got out of the car to look around and the mum stayed inside.

Out of nowhere a guy holding a bunch of newspapers turned up and starting approaching the mum,

who's window in the car was open.

He said his motorbike had broken down and that he delivered papers to Death Valley town,

and if he didn't get them there, he would lose his job.

The mum couldn't see the motorbike and had a bad feeling.

The guy begged her to let him in the car and she refused.

Eventually, the dad came back and the paper delivery guy looked panicked, dropped his

papers and walked off into the desert.

When the mum and dad check in to the hotel, the receptionist tells them that they don't

get newspapers delivered to the hotel.

When the mum and dad look at the newspapers, they date back to 1954.

Was he a murderer or a lost ghost from the 50s?!

9 - Norwegian Mountain Menace This story was posted by Tonberryking on Reddit.

They said that they and their buddy decided to go on a late night drive into the Norwegian

mountains to watch the sunrise at the top across the land.

Sounds nice!

He said that the drive up the mountain is enjoyable, and there is a bar at the top,

although he knew it would be closed at the time of night he and his buddy were driving,

he thought they could sit on the benches outside, take in the view and have a smoke.

On the way up, they saw a person sitting on a boulder.

They only realized what they saw after they had driven by, and as it was late and the

roads can be a bit treacherous, they thought they would reverse back and see if the person

was okay.

Classic polite Norwegians, good on them.

Unfortunately, their kind act led to some serious spooks.

They saw the person was a woman with a long white dress and long beautiful hair.

She turned to look at them when they called out to her, and I'll read what the redditor

wrote: her face was three time the length of a normal persons face, her eyes were completely

blank and she had a smile on her face.

Creepy.

The redditor said they were nearly paralyzed with fear but they drove on.

The next day, both guys contracted a high fever that lasts for days.

8 - Midnight Scratching So this story comes from a Reddit post around

It seems that a guy was driving back from a family reunion.

He had decided not to stay the night because he had to work the next day.

After 45 minutes on the road, he said he felt very very tired.

There was no lay by or any place he could park off the road, so he decided to drive

into a field and park his car behind some bushes to hide it from view.

He fell asleep at 11.20 but was woken up 30 minutes later by a scratching sound.

He was tired, looked at the clock and decided to ignore it.

He was then awoken by the same sound 50 minutes later and was super freaked out … this time

he didn't ignore it.

He thought it could be animals, but what animal continually scratches near a car for an hour?

He looked into his rearview mirror and saw someone or something running into the forest.

He decided to drive off and head back to the road.

As he drove forward, he saw an abandoned car with its door open…he drove closer to investigate

and a man came sprinting around the corner screaming for him to get away from his car.

The guy was pretty terrified and drove off.

He said the moral of the story was not to go sleep at the side of deserted roads.

7 - The Pick Up Trucks This story was submitted to the subreddit,

let's not meet.

A girl and her friend Amy were driving from Ruidoso to Albuquerque.

As the girls loved exploring, they took the NM55, a more remote road.

They saw a white pick up truck ahead of them in the distance.

When they got closer, the truck turned across both lanes, then pulled off the road.

When they drove by, they noticed the driver was a middle age guy who stared at them intensely

while talking into a walkie-talkie.

When they passed him, he pulled back on to the highway and started following them.

They then noticed another pickup truck slowly coming toward them.

This one was an older, more beat up truck.

When they passed it, they noticed that guy was also talking into a walkie-talkie.

The truck passed then turned to follow them behind the white truck.

The white truck then tried to bump them, but they kept speeding faster.

It then became apparent that the trucks were trying to get the car between them.

Luckily, a US Park Service Car came on to the road from a side road and the trucks both

Uturned.

The girls were freaked out though, which is fair.

6 - Real Life Can Be Scarier Than Any Movie Apparently so!

This story comes from a road trip from Twenty nine Palms, California to Albuquerque New

Mexico.

The driver went through Amboy, a ghost town well below sea level and reportedly a location

for the satanic activity.

The driver stopped by Amboy sign to take pictures to show friends.

As they drove forward through the deserted town and onwards through a canyon, they saw

a red car stopped in the middle of the road.

As they got closer, they saw a suitcase and two bodies laying face down.

Feeling freaked out and uneasy, obviously, the driver drove on, pulling out their 9-millimeter

pistol from under the seat because they had a niggling feeling it was a trap.

When they passed the scene, they looked into the rearview mirror and saw the two so-called

bodies getting up and around 20 people emerging from the long grass.

The driver hit the accelerator and motored forward.

The driver, recalling their experience said: I will never know what would have happened

to me had I gotten out of the car.

Somehow I do not think it would have been good.

Sometimes real life can be scarier than a movie.

Honestly, my life is regularly scarier than a movie.

5 - Nothing Good Happens After 2AM Wait, I feel like that is a How I Met Your

Mother Episode …either way, sometimes I feel like this is definitely true!

A guy wrote a long winding tale about a trip he took from Nashville to Kentucky and back

again.

He had got into a fight with his girlfriend and wanted to drive to blow off steam.

As he was heading to Alabama, he realized he was running low on gas so pulled off interstate

65 and drove off the ramp near a gas station.

This is where he noticed something very strange.

The only other car on the road was stopped at a green light.

It was after 3am and the guy driving figured it was weird but might just have been because

the driver was tired.

When the light turned red the car rolled forward, pulled under the overpass and turned its lights

off.

Creepy.

The driver didn't want to go forward when the lights went green again, so they waited.

Then when the lights went green a second time, they decided to move, and the car started

following them.

The guy got to the gas station, where there was also luckily a police officer.

The guy following parked at the station to and stared at him then got out and stood at

the back of the line when he went in to pay.

After the road tripper paid, the stalker left the line to follow him again.

The driver said he sped through some red lights in his way home to get away and it is still

the creepiest thing that has ever happened to him.

I visited the Golden Gate Bridge in December, it was beautiful!

That being said I did have a scary time there, but that is a different story for a different

day.

At number 4 we have the story of The Bay Bridge So San Francisco has a number of beautiful

bridges – the Bay Bridge and the famous Golden Gate Bridge.

A man and his granddaughter were driving the epic route from San Diego to Portland and

they were stopping in San Francisco.

They drove over the Bay Bridge and were struck by a diversion.

The diversion led them into a district of town with no street lights and an eerie vibe.

The roads were deserted, but not just that, the streets seemed deserted, too.

A car drive by, but It was a Japanese model 1930s car.

Eventually, the detour took them over the Golden Gate Bridge, which was very dark – with

not even the toll booths open.

The granddaughter, Cate, who was driving started to go over the bridge, but she said she felt

a force trying to turn her around.

Eventually, she managed to drive forwards.

When Cate spoke to one of her friends who lived in San Fran about the experience, they

said that the Golden Gate is lit up and that area couldn't have been deserted as there

was a festival in town that day.

Okay, we have had loads of fun with Reddit but let's move on to some news officiated

real-life scary road trip stories that made national headlines…

3 - The murder of Peter Falconio This story scares me so much as it is so simple,

so easily replicated.

On July 14th, 2001, Joanne Lees and her boyfriend, Peter Falconio was driving on the Stuart Highway

near Alice Springs in the Australian Outback.

Road tripping around, the couple in their 20s were enjoying a backpacking vacation in

a VW Campervan.

As they were on the road, a driver in a Toyota four-wheel drive flagged them down.

He said he had spotted they had engine trouble, and Peter got out to investigate while Joanne

got into the driver's seat to rev the car.

That is when she heard shots, and the man reappeared at the window, holding his gun

to her head.

He managed to tie her hands behind her back with cable toes and was dragged into the back

of the man's car.

When he was distracted moving Peter's body, the girl fled into the bush, successfully

hiding.

The man looked for her, passed close by but never found her and drove off with her boyfriend's

body.

Later, Joanne flagged down a road train diver who rescued her.

The body of Peter Falconio has never been found, but the killer was later identified

by DNA on Joanne.

John Murdoch was found guilty and sentenced to 28 years in prison.

Not all road trips are taken in cars…a lot of cyclists take road trips – hitting the

pavement with two wheels is sometimes the ultimate way to experience the open road.

Unfortunately what this cyclist discovered will haunt him forever

2 - The Annecy Killings The Al-Hilli family were on a holiday in France

and taking a road trip through the alps when they were shot at in their red BMW.

Parents Saad and Iqbal, and Iqbal's mother were killed, along with Iqbal's mother.

The families two daughters were wounded but survived, with their four-year-old found hidden

under her dead mother's legs 8 hours after police got to the scene.

Next to the car, a French cyclist, Sylvain Mollier had also been shot dead.

The scene was discovered by another cyclist, Brett Martin, who rode by the horrifying scene.

While the murder investigation was opened, the perpetrator of the 2012 attack still has

not been found.

Some investigators think that the murders were random…which is scarier…there could

be a deranged killer waiting to strike again.

1 - Santa Rosa Hitchhiker Murders I would never hitchhike, but probably only

because of stories like this one.

I get it though, it's a cheap way to take a road trip.

In the 1970s, there was no real frame of reference as to how dangerous hitchhiking could be…

but then the murders started happening.

Between 1972 and 1973 6 women were found dead and naked in rural areas near creeks next

to roads.

All of the girls were female hitchhikers who were traveling around Sonoma County and Santa

Rosa in California.

The murders are unsolved to this day.

So there we have it, that was the top 10 scary road trip stories.

White Hat Outreach to Nonprofits & Organizations with Dave Fox (Link building strategy) - Duration: 17:31.

in this video I talk to Dave Fox about white hat outreach he's had fantastic

luck over the last few months getting these like really awesome backlinks and

it's through like pure white hat outreach and it's actually you know a

great approach so during this period he got a handful of links but the cool part

is his revenue and traffic doubled during that period so it's a very simple

approach however it doesn't necessarily mean it's easy to do let's get into the

details and by the way we have the templates that we can get to you

the Dave use so sort of the series of emails to send and how to approach this

kind of work so without further ado let's hear from

Dave hey it's Doug Huntington here I'm hanging out with my friend Dave what's

going on hello Dave and I are gonna talk about white hat outreach in this video

Dave you've had some pretty good success over the last little stretch with this

outreach plan so can you give us an idea of the results like before and after

like the traffic and earnings yeah the past year and one of the strategies we

attempted with this site is to do some serious outreach and I was a little bit

leery about it because I've never really like a huge outreach guy but we tried it

and it seems to be like doing really well for us right now and so in the past

like three months we've doubled our traffic from like say 500 users a dates

like a thousand users a day which is pretty significant and it's seen it's

like really affected our like bottom line as well

gotcha did these earnings pretty much double as well yeah like we had a really

like last month was like a crazy good month for us and I owe it at least a lot

of it to the outreach for sure okay you know like you can never say for sure for

sure but it's like the one thing that like is completely different from my

other sites and it's just like this is the most dramatic kind of like boost

I've seen cool it mean like your traffic doubled so it's fair to assume like yeah

all right so this is a little unconventional it's not necessarily like

original but people usually don't take this route yeah I'll just tell folks

like typically you know the outreach that we hear about it's like

you send out a bunch of cold emails to some list of prospects which hopefully

they're like in your niche or related niche and you just ask them if you could

guest post or maybe they you know will insert a link for you in an existing

post and you just you know pray that your shotgun approach is gonna work and

that it does convert I mean I know people can get a lot of links through

sending out a whole lot of emails but this is way more surgical and I guess a

lot more focus it could can be considered like a lot more work but when

you hear the results like it's hard to argue with them so I've heard this

called like ego bait in the past but can you just kind of describe the process of

how you approached it well the way that we did it is like my buddy who I worked

with on the site he was like a background is in like doing cold calls

for different reasons like he does real estate he did some stuff for like church

organizations like charity drives and whatnot so his whole thing was like

reaching out to people to try to get some sort of like charitable thing

happening like at least for the charity stuff not the real estate stuff but like

the charity stuff was essentially like contacting these sort of like

organizations who I guess essentially like you know maybe they don't get a lot

of phone calls necessarily but they're like important in the in the community

and in the scheme of things they're doing like good work and so he was

calling those people and then we decided maybe to try to apply that to like our

site in the sense of like picking companies or organizations mostly

nonprofits they're doing work out there and in the world and it's somehow ties

to our site and so we basically like hit them up and just say like hey we want to

feature you at an interview or we want to like writing an article about you

would you be okay if you shared it with your community and stuff like that and

those people because their sites are so like awesome for to Google because

Google is just like these are nonprofits that are often government-backed people

and they just don't get a lot of social media attention or whatever and so here

we are coming to them trying to like actually like the thing is you're

actually have to like connect with them and research them and then write about

them or talk to them but as a result they share that that article and

Google sees that and then it starts to like associate you with those kinds of

organizations and that's where it starts to kick in how did you find these

organizations well you know it's like you have to be sort of like comfortable

with like searching on Google and a specific type of way where it's like you

just have to be good at like you know doing search queries or whatever so like

we were just looking up you know certain organizations in a certain region that

did a certain type of work and then they just start popping up like there's tons

of them really like and they're underserved as far as like people don't

talk about them all the time so when you connect with them they're kind of like

oh nice of you to connect with us and it's nice that you care and so then you

actually they're all over the place it's just like you have to just sort of like

use certain strings to find them but the key is to actually give a shit about

them right a couple things who you're talking about like advanced Google

searches and looking for footprints so and I'll sort of contrast your model

compared to what other people are searching for so typically the outreach

that we hear about someone will tell you to look for like your keyword and then

in quotes right for us that's a footprint that a lot of people search

for it's a really saturated Channel because that's what everyone says to

look for they have a right for us page that they get solicited all the time

like for people that want to do guest post so there it's a very crowded

Channel what you're looking for is like specific organization in a specific

region and they don't have any sort of like footprints that anyone else is

looking for they don't have a right for us page they don't have a guest post on

their site and right most of the time it may be you like like two or three people

is office staff and you can like call them up talk on the phone email them

you'll get a response back right away right I mean it's probably like quick

turnaround times right yeah well the thing like just in a nutshell say for

instance you have like a hunting site and you're like hitting up other sort of

pseudo affiliates and other like influencers and whatnot and like when

you really could just go to the like the NRA and say like not that you would hit

them up specifically but like something on a smaller level than that maybe maybe

even them just be like hey like I have a hunting site I just did a guide to like

you know how to properly use your or whatever the whatever and and then

you talk to them and they're like okay like the article we're gonna put it on

her Facebook like this is the fucking NRA like not that you know what I mean

so like that kind of thing makes a lot more sense to me because you're like

you're in your niche but you're talking to people that are like seriously like

you know seriously in that in that world you know they're not they're not faking

it at all they're like a fear that they're the real influencers it's not

like just these people that have blogs it's like you know people that have been

around for like a hundred years or like maybe not a hundred years ago like

twenty years or something like that got you now when we're thinking about like

this outreach a lot of people are thinking how can i scale this up I want

to send out a lot of emails as quickly as possible how can I do that do did you

guys try and do that did you try and send out a ton of emails no actually

basically we did the opposite we like well we hired this guy he's like you

know he works for us now and and I was kind of like should we really hire this

guy like we really need a guy on this task or whatever and then he started

doing it and like just paid him and just sort of like my friend was sort of on

his case not I wasn't on his case I just let him handle it and he basically just

sort of like got him to email a certain number of people a week but it wasn't

any huge number it was just like specific people and like carefully

worded emails so then you get links like it takes about a week or two to like you

know contact them set up a an article or an interview or something like feature

and then in the end it's like two weeks later you finish it contact them and you

say like hey like it's done like it's all been sort of like discussed that

with our guy and their people and then it's slow but it's like it works because

it's it hasn't been rushed or anything like that there's no kind of like you

know urgency to it it's kind of like we'll just you know we're all kind of

working to achieve something so and it was a slow kind of drip thing but like

you know we get like a two or three links a month and we've been doing that

for like three or four months and it has the results have been pretty good

because that's when once we had about ten of these links which were just kind

of like with these organizations and stuff like we just saw the traffic to

start to like climb at a really like weirdly rapid pace and the domain

Authority on Moz was going up like weirdly as well and I'm just like this

has got to be like a fluke or something like I couldn't understand why why was

happening because it's just like the other sites we just post content

and like try to SEO the content but in this case it like other things were

happening and do you remember what the DA was before you started and then like

what it is currently yeah I was like basically 15 in the beginning and then

it was like 42 by now Wow and that's insane over just a couple months but I

mean it goes to show like the quality of the links has like a huge impact on the

D and most by the way most the time I tell people don't like watch your D who

cares about your da like it really matters like are you getting good links

in like is that are your rankings going up it's a traffic going on I mean if you

just want a number like it's a good it's a good reference point I was not like I

was not interested in hearing about the DA when my friend was talking to me

buddies it's like hey the DA is like 18 its 19 its 22 and I'm like shut up like

I don't care right and then and then eventually he's like he's like it's 30

I'm like okay wait a second 30 this site is not it's a pretty new site and then

when I got to like 35 I'm like wait a second like this is weird

something's going on and then traffic was sort of reflecting that - so I'm

like could it be those like 10 links of these organizations like could it be and

then I'm like it I don't know what else like we've been like doing a lot of

content this is sort of what I would assume that yeah yeah all right well any

other tips on like running such a campaign kind of like I'm applying to

all my other sites like immediately right because I wasn't doing outreach

that way I'm not very good at outreach in general just because I don't know

like this this method just works better for me because it seems a little more

like polska more something and the people that I'm finding in that type of

outreach are like for my different niches I'm kind of actually interested

in what they do once I like look at them because I'm like you have this site

that's essentially like a lot of affiliate links and stuff and then some

info articles maybe but this really like to me makes it really legitimate because

you're talking about there like this conservatory over here or whatever

what other like affiliate marketers are gonna take the time to actually like

talk to some conservatory somewhere you know I mean I I'm a proponent of like

the high touch outreach where you know the more you interact with the bloggers

that hopefully you want to guest post with like they're more likely to like

except your guest post and just be let you know sort of friendly and this is

like a classic example like you said it's like you're kind of helping the

organization I mean you're they're getting more like recognition they're

getting you know from an SEO perspective they're getting a backlink but I mean

people are talking about the organization and that's good for

everyone that's involved in the organization so yeah it's like it's

gonna take longer you're gonna have to be a lot more like intentional about

like the emails you're sending and like the article that you're writing your

site needs to be like respectable and stuff like that but at the end of the

day it's like you help someone they're helping you out and you know it works

so yeah quick question do you like when you write the article do you

specifically ask them to link to it or do you just rely on them to do it on

their own no we do ask them for sure in the process it like we its kind of

indicated in the beginning I haven't been reading the emails we've been

sending these people lately but there is something it's sort of like hinted at

and then basically like we come back around and ask for it later just like we

see if they're open to it at least and then once it's done we're kind of like

yeah so but we did mention there was like gonna be a like wouldn't we'd like

to have a link if we possibly could and I think that the point of it too like

there's a lot of benefits of this but like you're making an article that you

know that they'll want to link to for sure so it's like based on who they are

like the way that they actually share things to like so if you look at their

Facebook and you're like what kind of stuff do they share versus what kind of

stuff they not share you know it's like you got to make that article shareable

at least to those people that's basically the main goal is to like you

don't really care if anybody else shares it you do want them to share it though

for sure and there's one more thing that's gonna add to it yeah which is

that like it also it like you were saying you have to make your site

respectable and I think that's a good point because a lot of most affiliate

sites really do look like affiliate sites and it makes them look bad in a

sense because just like you know I I see them like constantly where I'm looking

up a topic and sort of like a niche topic and it's just like it's just all

reviews and all just like sell sell sell and you could never even have one of

these articles on those types of niche sites because they look so bad as far as

like they're just so ham-fisted it's like you know it makes you think it

makes me think that I have like sort of make my site a little bit

more respectable yeah and just make it sort of like it affects the type of

content that I might create in general so I'll be like you know before before I

put them like I before I have like ten reviews in the research like say the

recent post is this like all reviews it's like instead of just having reviews

I'm gonna throw a few like more info posts in there to make it look at least

a little more like I care about this topic well-written did yeah yeah

well-rounded exactly cool you know I have a friend who she has like her own

personal brand she's an author and stuff and I was telling her hey you probably

can like get a lot of Amazon affiliate traffic if you wanted to and it took her

a little while to figure it out but she's been able to you know stay true to

her authentic brand as you know as an author and all that stuff and be

respectable be respected among her peers and all that but also have you know some

affiliate articles that specifically target like a buyer's keyword and it's a

matter of like having the right balance and just having like a good looking site

and obviously care about it so yeah it's not just like cuz you can be really good

at that like the affiliate promotion site or

it's just like you're you're good at writing review articles you're good at

like targeting those keywords and stuff but if you if that's all you do I think

and I've suffered from that too it just like it makes your site look like one

big like sales page kind of thing and then that doesn't work for this kind of

outreach exactly you know what I mean yeah totally totally so I think that

wraps it up and Dave would you be able to maybe give us like a little bit of a

template of exactly what is in one of those outreach emails or some example or

something like that just like talk about it right now I mean no no I mean like

for for people you like check out like can we hook them up with a link or

something like that yeah I can like I can ask my partner to dig up an email I

could just sort of like make it generalize generic and then we can post

it cool yep you know place a link for that I don't know what it'll be yet

folks but I'll place the link in the description so you can get that template

see sort of like the process of sort of like what it looks like on Dave side

really appreciate that Dave I haven't seen a template like this out there so

yeah I don't even know what template is at this point it's like I'm

not even looking I'm not even doing this I'm letting him take care of this part

so I'm just like well he's your guy just like you you kind of keep on him but I

don't think people need two people to be harassing right so before we jet well

thanks des but before we jet you know we plugged your YouTube channel last time

is there something you're excited about that you're gonna be publishing soon on

the YouTube channel or something people should definitely check out yeah like

there's gonna be like I'm always a new album in production and that's like the

case right now as well I have some new songs coming out so I try to put stuff

on that channel a lot so I would just say in general that channel is like

pretty active and there's lots of stuff on it so if you like music that's my

little baby over there so you can check that out and comment if you if you so

desire and that would be great awesome what kind of music is there's a lot of

different types but there's like a lot of like electronic music there's some

rock music there's even some like kind of weird kind of chiptune music which is

like retro video game style music things like that like experimental stuff like

ool so check out Dave's channel sounds very

interesting and of course there'll be links for everything below including you

know sort of a template and guide to do this sort of ego bait outreach I mean

ego bait it's it sounds kind of like a weird weird term but really it's just

you're trying to like appeal to the person and like they're cause right so

it's like that's how I would put it cool well thanks again Dave and we'll talk to

you yeah for sure take care thanks a lot Dave appreciate you taking the time

everyone don't forget there's two other videos in this series where we get an

update from Dave and 20:18 and then we hear about the issues he had with

negative SEO so don't forget to check those out and have a look at Dave's

channel as well he plays cool music so have a look

you

Woman SURVIVES Under Collapsed Building - FACT or FICTION? - Duration: 16:16.

When the odds are against you, do you just give up and hope for the best or do you try

and put up a fight?

Your answer determines whether or not you're a survivor, whether you'd be able to endure

when the odds are against you.

The following three tales follow people that shouldn't have persevered.

Did they really look death in the face and, against all odds, pull through?

Or, did we spin these stories up for your entertainment?

It's time to find out whether you can decide what's fact.. or fiction.

The line that divides the factual from the unreal has long since blurred, the tales we

once thought fantastical now implanted as truth.

To decipher verity from the imagined, you must break from the ordinary and consider

a universe where the outlandish prevails.

Can you expand your mind to see beyond our perceived reality?

Can you decide what's fact or fiction?

Just how deadly can Mother Nature be?

Mitchel Greenberg and Brandon Thomas found out the hard way while trying to enjoy the

peace and quiet of the wild at the base of a very well-known natural formation.

In an instant, their experience took a turn for the worst..

Story # 1: May 18, 1980 Many people weren't alive or couldn't remember

what they were doing on May 18th, 1980, but it's a day that Mitchel Greenberg won't soon

forget.

It wasn't a trip he had been excited about, but his close friend, Brandon Thomas, insisted

that they forgo the beach and try for something adventurous – a once in a lifetime expedition

in the shadow of Mount St. Helens.

The two traveled with a group of eight, though they all set up camp separate from one another.

They spent only one day in River Glen, a quiet campsite near the base of the towering volcano.

The morning after enjoying the peacefulness of nature and sharing stories over a campfire,

Mitchel and Brandon awoke to an unexpected event.

Mitchel didn't see it at first, but when he saw the terror in his friend's eyes,

he knew something bad was happening.

The sky just beyond the treelined campsite was blocked by a red cloud that rose from

the peak of Mount St. Helens.

The pair rushed from their campsite in a panic just as the ground started to quake.

Amidst the chaos that followed, Mitchel lost track of Brandon after being knocked to the

ground by a heavy wave of ash.

Ice and snow barreled over Mitchell from the snowy natural formation, freezing him in just

seconds.

His body underwent another drastic temperature change when the heat from the volcanic eruption

finally reached him.

The intensity started to blister his hands, forcing him to frantically crawl his way to

the nearby river for relief.

As he soaked his hands, he scanned the clearing, hoping to find Brandon.

Instead, he only saw the destructive force of nature.

Ash dropped from the sky like snowfall, clouding his vision.

Pockets of hot orange burst around him, engulfing him in an unexpected hell.

Knowing there was no surviving just by hiding near the river, Mitchel struggled against

the worsening conditions to find Brandon and safety.

Breathing grew difficult as the ash grew even thinker, but despite all that stood in his

way, Mitchell found Brandon hiding beneath tree limbs.

Rendered immobile from his broken hip, the two sat together on the pile of branches,

each one praying for an impossible rescue.

They prolonged the inevitable by breathing through their shirts, hoping to keep their

lungs clear of the volcanic ash.

Hope had long-been lost when, through the thick cloud of gray, Mitchel saw two figures

approaching them.

One pair of friends they traveled with, Jonathan Reese and Rose Nelson, had found their way

through the eruption to Mitchel and Brandon's campsite.

Together, the three were able to build a shelter for Brandon before setting off to find help.

For nearly 11 miles, Mitchel walked through the devastated landscape before finding a

family of hikers that were able to call in a rescue.

Mitchel, Brandon, Jonathan, and Rose survived the ordeal, each one walking away with their

own emotional or physical scars.

The eruption of Mount St. Helens was a well-known ordeal, but is it possible that Mitchel and

company were trapped within it?

To survive the abundance of ash and the incredible heat sounds unlikely, but does that mean it

didn't and couldn't have happened?

We'll get to the reveal in a few, but for now, vote what you think by using the on-screen

poll and let us know your thoughts in the comment section below.

Our second story deals with a horror that is still relevant today – the poor conditions

of garment factories around the world.

If you're unaware of these horrible conditions, pay attention to this story of Hasina Anand.

Forced to work in an overcrowded building for minimal pay, Hasina witnessed firsthand

the result of such an environment.

Story # 2: The Dark Labyrinth It wasn't a feeling she was accustomed to,

especially after several years in the cramped factory.

The building seemed to sway, a motion that should have been impossible for the stubby

structure.

Hasina looked around to make sure she wasn't the only one to have felt it and judging by

the look on her neighbor's faces, she wasn't.

There was an uncomfortable silence for a very brief moment before the building moved again,

this time far more drastic.

Hasina heard the floor give way before the feeling of falling hit her.

By the time she could comprehend what was happening, the sun that had been peering through

nearby windows was completely blacked out and her lungs were filled with a thick dust.

Screams were stifled by the sound of the collapsing building and within seconds, all Hasina could

hear was the sound of her heart beating frantically as she dropped through the crumbling building.

It all went silent suddenly when she struck the bottom, her head slamming against a solid

surface.

The headache was unbearable when she finally came to, but it didn't keep Hasina from

being able to grasp just how dire her situation was.

Nothing but pitch black surrounded her.

There was no telling how long she had been knocked out, but as she started to rustle

in her spot trapped beneath the rubble, she quickly realized she wasn't the only one

alive.

"Save me!."

A frantic voice called out to her, muffled slightly by the walls of the labyrinth.

"Please, water."

Hasina's movements were hindered by the tight quarters, but she still tried to move

to find the distressed man.

They could hear one-another, and he continued to call out to Hasina, but by the time she

reached him, he had fallen silent and his body, trapped beneath a pile of rubble, had

gone limp.

Hasina wanted to avoid the same fate and so she crawled through the darkened cavern, her

body being torn up by tiny shards of metal and jagged concrete edges.

Crawling through the rubble, Hasina had no sense of time and saw only trickles of daylight

in small cracks that supplied her with the minimal oxygen she had.

As she sought a way out during her days trapped in the deadly maze, Hasina happened upon packs

of cookies and small puddles of water, just enough provisions to get her through the 17

days she spent trapped in what could have been her grave.

Hasina was rescued after being able to attract the attention of a rescue worker through a

tiny crack.

It was just big enough to fit a stick through and the stick was just big enough for him

to see.

After her rescue, Hasina later found that more than 1,000 of her coworkers had been

killed and she was the only survivor to have been found.

It's a well-known fact that the conditions in some factories are deplorable and structural

collapses aren't entirely uncommon, but what are the odds of surviving such a collapse,

trapped under all of that weight?

Is it likely she'd survive while more than 1,000 of her co-workers were pulled from the

rubble, lifeless?

Take a moment to tell us what you think in the comment section below and vote by using

the on-screen poll.

On August 29th, 2005, Hurricane Katrina ripped through southern Louisiana, leaving a wake

of destruction and causing more than 1,500 deaths.

Chip DeLanio was born and raised on the outskirts of New Orleans, but never expected that he'd

find himself fighting for his life – a nearly losing it.

Story # 3: A Watery Grave When the alert bulletin started to sound,

Chip regretted every decision that led to his partial immobility.

The heavy cast on his leg kept him moving at a pace he needed to and his caretaker,

a kind neighbor and the only person he really spoke to, was with her family, likely scrambling

to plan their own escape.

The native Louisianan started to pack what he could reach, but the more he struggled

against his freshly broken leg, the more he realized just how futile his escape really

would have been.

When a desperate phone call to his neighbor went unsurprisingly unanswered, he realized

just how alone he was going to be.

And so he waited for the inevitable.

The wind outside had been kicking up for hours, the rain pounding against his fragile home.

He and his tiny abode had survived hurricanes before, but unbeknownst to him, none had caused

the same level of devastation that Katrina was threatening.

Chip was shocked when the steady flow of water rocked his house and started to seep in through

every crack.

He didn't want to panic, but as the structure started to give way, it was all he could do.

His cast felt like a brick as he struggled against the rising water and avoided the pieces

of debris that were knocked loose from his home.

He paddled as hard as he could, growing tired almost immediately.

Before long, the current of the rushing water had taken him, dragging him through his devastated

neighborhood.

He reached for every piece of debris that passed him, but his strength wasn't enough

to hold on and keep the water from pulling him.

His mind wanted to black out, but the flowing water that pounded against his face, making

it nearly impossible to breathe kept him awake.

Chip wound up getting caught against submerged debris for what felt like forever, his body

threatening to shut down every second that passed, then he felt something pulling him

back.

The motions were too rough and jerky to be water, and it wasn't until he felt a strong

hand grip his shoulder that he realized he wasn't alone.

Then, through the chaos of everything around him, he heard a man's voice.

The words were indistinguishable, but knowing he wasn't alone caused him to feel relief.

Even if he did die, at least it wasn't by himself.

But he wasn't going to die, at least not there.

Another jolt of pain shot up from his leg as the unknown hero gave Chip one last tug,

releasing him from his trap.

Seconds later Chip felt his back slide against a hard surface and heard more voices, speaking

frantically.

He tried to muster a "Thank you" to his nameless savior, but he couldn't gather

the strength.

Chip simply laid still, silent and motionless.

When a helicopter finally found the stranded group and airlifted them to safety, Chip moved

his head enough to meet the eyes of the man that saved him and summoned the strength to

force a smile.

Hurricane Katrina claimed many lives in 2005, but was Chip DeLanio almost one of them?

Are there people out there, so alone, that not one person would consider their safety

in instances of an emergency?

We'll find out in just a minute - but we want to know what you think in the comment section.

Are you ready to find out if you can decipher between fact or fiction?

Let's look back at tonight's three stories and find out which were born from reality

and which were fabrications of the imagination.

Our first tale follows what seemed like an impossible survival story during the eruption

of Mount St. Helens.

Anyone that knows their history will be able to confirm that the volcano did indeed erupt

on May 18th, 1980, but that doesn't mean Mitchel and Brandon are real, right?

The fact of the matter is, their story did happen, only to Danny Jay Balch and Brian

Thomas.

Balch and Thomas survived along with their friends Sue Ruff and Bruce Nelson.

Two other friends, Karen Varner and Terry Crall, sadly, were killed in their tent.

Looking at our second story of beating the odds, we were introduced to Hasina Anand,

a seamstress in a garment factory.

Did her terrifying tale of being trapped beneath rubble actually happen, or are we just trying

to frighten our claustrophobic listeners?

For that answer, you may want to ask Reshma Begum, the Bangladesh woman that actually

lived through Hasina's experience.

Reshma survived for 17 days in the collapsed building on what little water she could find

and four packs of cookies.

As for that last story, where Chip DeLanio struggled against the power of Hurricane Katrina?

Many tales of heroism and tragedy came after Katrina made landfall, so it's plausible

that Chip's was among them.

Though it could have happened, it didn't.

Mr. DeLanio's struggle is rooted in fiction, a creation of our own imaginations.

How well did you do in tonight's video?

Did you look past the deception of our world and define the oft-blurred line that struggles

to separate lies from the truth?

Let us all know in the comment section below and should you find the urge to test your

perceptions again, be sure to subscribe and join us next time when we ask you to decide

what's fact... or fiction.
