Why Does Music Give Us Chills? - Duration: 3:08.
[INTRO ♪]
If you've ever been listening to music, and suddenly felt a shiver—
like, a kind of strange chill that runs along your spine
and makes the hair on your arm stand on end—congrats!
You've experienced what some people call a "skin orgasm."
Scientists prefer the term frisson, which is French for ... shiver.
And they happen when your body has a strong emotional response to something,
like a powerful stretch of notes in a song. [guitar ♪]
But not everyone experiences them, and scientists think
that might have to do with small differences in our brains.
A frisson is more than the tingling in your spine.
While that chill is happening,
the electrical conductance of your skin increases
because of small changes in your sweat glands.
Your pupils also dilate, and brain areas associated with
pleasure and euphoria activate as the neurotransmitter
dopamine is released in your brain.
All of these are the physiological side-effects of
turning on the neurological reward system that makes you feel good—
the same one triggered by things like food, sex and illicit drugs.
But why this reward system is turned on by music is less clear.
Sudden jumps from a quiet note to a loud one, [French horn ♪]
or from a low note to a high note, [piano ♪]
often trigger frissons.
Unexpected solos, harmonies, [guitar ♪]
or sequences in melodies can as well.
That might be because those characteristics in music are pleasant surprises,
and new or unexpected stimuli can trigger your autonomic nervous system—
the part of your nervous system that deals with
all involuntary physical activity in your body,
like how fast your heart beats.
But what elicits a frisson also varies from person to person,
depending on personal tastes, so scientists think
your emotional connection to the piece also plays a role.
You're much more likely to have one while hearing a song that you like
than one that you don't, for example.
And they don't just happen with music.
They can happen in response to visual stimuli, like pictures, or movies.
You can even have a frisson just by thinking about an emotional event.
But not everyone gets them.
Studies suggest that between 55 and 86 percent of people experience frissons.
And a personality trait called 'Openness to Experience' might explain why.
People who score highly on that trait
often experience intense emotions,
have active imaginations, and are intellectually curious.
And, according to a 2016 study of 100 college students,
they have frissons more frequently
when listening to music.
The study authors suggest that might be because
they're processing the music in a more cognitive, attentive way,
which makes them more likely to be emotionally moved
by something unexpected in music.
Another 2016 study of 20 people added to that by
comparing the brains of people who experienced frissons with those who do not.
People who do had more connectivity between the auditory cortex,
the region which processes sounds,
and emotional processing centers in the brain,
like the insula and medial prefrontal cortex.
If you're not sure if you've ever had a frisson,
well, a devoted subreddit suggests listening to
Imogen Heap's 'Hide and Seek' or 'Comfortably Numb' by Pink Floyd.
Those songs seem to give lots of people skin orgasms.
Happy listening!

hi guys how you doing welcome back to my channel hi guys are you doing welcome
back to my channel it's Taylor and today we are going to be doing another coupon
book bang and I've had in a sound effect there I feel like because that would be
better anyway so I reacted 291 I AMA last week and it was actually like a
really cool video and I liked it I don't know if it's going it's definitely not
gonna replace or above kpop but I got a lot of feedback on it and I got some
suggestions on other videos to react to it as well so I'm gonna be reacting to a
91 s yah yah yah is what that one's called it's one of the newer ones that I
just found it just came out by 91 a few days ago and yeah so I I got like a
bunch of suggestions to watch that one so I figured I would try that one and
today I'm going to be eating colors it's like this place they sell butter burgers
and frozen custard I guess butter burgers are like butter
or like burgers that are like cooked in butter or whatever
sounds like a heart attack but it also sounds like really good and I'm starving
so yeah and then I also got this like green mint shake from there like
it's really difficult to suck through the straw let me tell you but it's good
it doesn't seem that thick but it's like incredibly difficult to suck there and
I'm really good at sucking so anyway some sauces me and Aaron ranch yes I dip
my fries and ranch don't judge me and then I also got these things cheese
curds to try those because apparently those
are the things which are like supposed to eat here in Wisconsin so that's right
a burger they did not give me my fries I was supposed to get fries however I
guess the cheese cooked with my Vienna by the way I'm like starving so this is
a butter burger doesn't look super great but apparently it's like a burger that's
like fried or cooked or whatever and butter I don't know the place was like
Pat's when I went there and it's a weekday it's Monday like in the middle
of the day so granted I guess lunch time you're right whatever anyway let's
okay it's not bad I don't know if it was an accident or if it's way that they do
it though but it is sort of like upside down like the males on the bottom and
then the lettuce and the tomato and the cheese bottom and then there's like
nothing unlike the dot Pattie so yeah I don't
know if that was intentional right but it's the way it is I mean it's still
good but yeah it's still it's still good however they have it done so
these are like official softcup so when it was so expensive
see it says fry on there and it also has one curd so it's on our seat
disappointed in you Culver disappointed
why is this so hard to suck that's what he said no I don't know if it works
there
I have you guys heard about this whole liked anicon thing I don't really know
who she is like I just kind of like I saw her like collab with like James
Charles and Shane Dawson and stuff but I've never really like watched any of
her content but they had like this whole like to anicon thing or whatever and
apparently like blew up I don't know I haven't like I paid attention to like
Shane Dawson videos that he made but and I don't really know much about it but
apparently a whole bunch of people were like kids were like mad and I don't know
fainting outside and everything sounds bad yeah this cheese curd
I taste like a mozzarella stick does that what it's supposed to taste like
why is it called today's card I'm I guess it's fried cheese which is exactly
what mozzarella sticks are except these are in these cute little bite sizes
instead of like a whole stair
all right I mean they're good I don't they taste like mozzarella sticks my
guys cheese curds / mozzarella stick bites we're good okay I'm gonna stop
trying to suck it it's just going nowhere
that shake is good though that is a good ass shake I'm saying let's go ahead and
get started um so when every reacting to 91 yeah it's what it's says so let's see
if this one I mean it's with it's from the group
that I reacted to before so let's see how different this video is I do need to
find some other video some other like q-pop to watch as well there was someone
that comment it was like a on my last video with like a whole bunch of
different videos for me to try to watch so I'm gonna look into those in the sea
but let's get started the dopamine Express okay oh I love his hair color
loving that and these pastels ooh I'm living for these colors
can I say that that room is what I want my bedroom to be that is cute
my god I love that colors
love is like anime with no sketches that's deep I love that
my baby Tanya oh I'm gonna marry hammer
the light blue ones hair I want his hair like I love that color I love it it's
like it's Heelys from the top
there he is with them faces again
laughing these pastels though loving this
okay hold up pause do any of y'all know his name and if so is he single and if
so even if he's not I don't love him like I just I want we know and I am in
love with whoever he is beautiful and in that hair oh okay
call myself
man is giving me hot flashes Lord
I'm speechless too
out he's beautiful
I'll own your heart I'll own it that's cute I like that I like the way they
dress and dancing that's cute oh you lost music what happened
are y'all are they had a dance it's okay do not worry hmm that was like so
different from like a Yamaha but I mean oh my god I love that I love that video
yes the colors are like I'm living for those colors though and I'm living for
that dude I don't know who he is but I'm gonna marry him I don't know who you are
but I'm gonna marry you like I just want you now yeah I like that video though
that was that was good also I'm liking cheese curds / bite-size mozzarella
sticks
alright guys well I hope you guys enjoyed this video thank you so much for
watching and for all your suggestions and please continue to suggest them keep
them coming whether it be Q pop kpop I mean even American pop if that kind of
gets boring to react to but anyways yes I love this video I think Q pop is going
to be my next obsession and if atleast that guy is going is my next obsession
period but I love this those colors I cannot get over that room look like
that's that's what I want my dream room to look like like it's so pretty and I
love pastels I love pastels anyway I don't know if you guys have seen but I
have a review video blot the most recent video that I uploaded it was uploaded a
couple days ago and there is a giveaway to it I'm giving away the product that I

My Spouse Wants More Kids But I Don't - Duration: 9:45.
- And then I would say
you try to reach a point of agreement,
and if you can't reach a point of agreement,
then love rules the day.
(upbeat theme music)
- Welcome again to The Straight Truth podcast.
I'm your host Josh Philpot,
as always I'm joined by Richard Caldwell,
the pastor of Founders Baptist Church,
and our special guest today is Stuart Sanders,
pastor of Tomball Bible Church here in North Houston.
As always we invite you to leave a comment for us
and then we get to know your thoughts
as we address these important issues.
Pastor, let's paint the scenario where you have a husband
and wife and they've had a couple kids together.
Let's just say three kids together.
That's a full quiver, you know, in a lot of ways.
But one spouse would like to continue to have more kids,
whereas the other one would like to stop.
They feel like maybe three is enough
or maybe it's making their home hectic,
those sorts of things.
And so let's say the father,
being the head of the home,
he's a good Christian man,
would like to have more kids, maybe four or five kids.
But the mother if feeling like,
well, I think this is enough.
What sort of counsel would you give a couple like that?
That's a hard situation, but what would you actually--
- It is a hard situation,
and I would say as I begin the answer
that I know some are going to watch this
and completely disagree with what I share.
- [Josh] Sure.
- There are some who believe
you oughta just keep on having children regardless.
- Be fruitful and multiply.
- Exactly, so I know some will disagree.
I think this is a matter for practical listening.
I think what we want to make sure of
is that our attitudes towards children match scripture,
and that we see children as a blessing from God.
So if we don't see children as blessing from God,
then we know our attitudes are in the wrong place.
Second then, we want to be sure
that we're not being motivated by materialism.
There's a difference between recognizing,
I want to be a good steward in the way
that I care for my children financially.
We've got to be able to take care of them,
feed them, clothe them, educate them.
There's a difference between that
and saying that if I have more children,
I can't have a bigger house, I can't have a better car.
One is motivated by a desire to please oneself,
the other is motivated by the desire to be a good parent
and take care of the children the Lord gives you.
So those are a couple of attitudes that I would check out
before I start working through this with my wife,
if I'm in that position as a husband.
Then what we want to do is
mutually respect each other in marriage.
So we want to talk this through together.
We want to hear each other,
we wanna find out what's motivating each other.
Um, and pray about it together, and go to the scriptures
and think through whether we're thinking about children
and taking care of them, and all that, the right way.
And then I would say you try to reach a point of agreement.
Um, and if you can't reach a point of agreement,
then love rules the day.
So if I as a husband, if my wife felt like
we should stop at three and I wanted to have five,
um, I'm going to love her and ask the Lord
to make me content with three children.
- [Josh] You are.
- And vice versa, let the wife respect her husband
and love her husband, so if he--
if the attitudes are in the right place,
we've talked about these things,
if he believes in wisdom, this is where we need to stop,
then she needs to respect that as well.
Now, whatever birth control measures we take,
we need to make sure those honor God as well.
And so, I don't believe the scriptures
would forbid birth control, I do believe the scriptures
would forbid any kind of birth control
that amounts to abortion. - Yeah.
- So we just gotta make sure that's not what we're doing.
- If I can follow up a little bit,
you just touch, you just said something
that touched on Ephesians 5 in this relationship
of love and submission, so if the scenario is
that a father would like to have more children
and the wife would maybe not,
is the submission aspect her relenting
to his decision to have more children, or not?
- No, I wouldn't say necessarily, no.
Because, in general terms she ought to keep
a submissive heart toward her husband, yes.
If I were the pastor of that couple,
I would address this in a different way.
I wouldn't talk to her so much first
as I would talk to her husband.
- [Josh] Yeah.
- And I would encourage this man to love his wife
and to yield on that issue.
If I'm talking to the wife and he's just insistent
on this and he's not loving her properly--
in my view, he wouldn't be loving her properly
to keep insisting on this.
But if he's doing that, then I would encourage her
to appeal to him.
To appeal to him in a godly way.
To say to him, I don't think this is
what we need to do, and here's why.
Um, and then at the end of the day, um,
we continue working through that together.
Pastor, husband, wife.
I'm assuming, of course, that we have safe people
that we're talking to.
So I don't want to quickly say
submission means you go ahead and have another child.
Because I don't think that's necessarily true.
- [Josh] Yeah.
Stuart, have you dealt with situations like this,
or maybe where there's some tension there in this decision?
- Yeah, well, piggy backing off of Richard
before getting to something else,
that, I think there's a, there can be
a false perspective of the New Testament principle
of submission within a marriage meaning that,
the husband never does what the wife wants
just to say it very crassly-- - Listens to her, sure.
- Right, listens to her, or that, like,
never defers his own preference.
That it means, like, if there's ever a conflict
it's always the husband's way.
That's a false pretense
and you walked through that really well.
But I think counseling people,
what I always try, when this question comes up
of how many kids do we have, and all of that,
I always want to, kinda backend that question
with what do you think parenting is?
Instead of, just, we need to have a ton of kids,
or, the materialism of,
well we have to have kids, we're Christians.
Or we need to have as little as possible
that will affect our bank account.
But what do you think parenting is,
like, what do you think you're stepping into?
Even the fact that you might not even be able to have kids.
But what do you think you're doing?
And, and I always couch it like this--
like, you're stepping into full time ministry.
You did that when you got married as well,
you did that when you were converted,
but these are eternal souls that are attributed
to your care, that are given to you.
And how many do you think you can faithfully,
adequately, fully disciple in the Lord?
And you need to wrestle with that question,
because you may have the capacity for 10.
You may be, like, tapped out at one.
I mean, where are you, spiritually, maturity wise
to where you can faithfully parent kids, how many can I--
I can always keep having more kids,
but as, am I, my capacity so far--
and once the child is there, then that's,
that Lord has made that decision,
and so we don't get to reevaluate that.
But more on the front-end of people before they get there,
what do you think that parenting even is?
Is that the, is that your angle,
or what, or am I trying to play bare minimum,
what do I have to have to be a Christian,
or, there's just no cap on this at all,
I don't have to exercise any kind of wisdom whatsoever.
- Yeah, to kind of walk through this,
you know, step by step, does the Bible
mandate how many children we're to have?
No.
There's no command in scripture
that indicates that sort of thing.
Um, does the Bible present us
with a picture of large families,
do we see people in the Bible having large families?
Yes.
So, should we, should we attach some sort of stigma
to people who have large families?
Of course not.
It's a blessing to have children.
This gets back to our attitude around, about children.
So that's, that's a blessing.
However, what is parenting?
That's another principle.
So, we just need to know.
However many children we end up, the Lord gives us,
we are responsible now to parent those children
in a way that matches scripture, that obeys the word of God.
So parenting is assuming a responsibility
imparted by scripture,
it reflects an attitude toward children taught by scripture,
but that attitude includes the fact
I'm not under a mandate to have five, six, seven, eight--
the Bible doesn't say anything like that.
So I think, like every other area of the Christian life,
this becomes a matter of desire and wisdom.
I'm not commanded by God to have more children,
so do we desire together to have more children?
And that's I think it's a matter of real discussion
between the husband and wife, - [Josh] Absolutely.
- And you're arriving at a place of agreement.

Trump Grants Himself King-Like Powers With FART Act - Duration: 3:51.
Something stinks in the Trump Administration, and most people understand what it is.
It's the FART Act, and I wish to God I was making that up.
This past weekend, Axios reported that the White House is drafting an order that is called
the United States Fair and Reciprocal Tariff Act, or for short, the FART Act.
That is actually what the acronym spells out, and as humorous as that is, because that pretty
much seems like a good metaphor for the entire Trump Administration; it's been the FART Act,
but what this piece of ... I can't even call it legislation, because Congress isn't going
to get to vote on it.
It's an order!
What this order does, is it gives the President king-like powers to continue his trade wars
indefinitely regardless of U.S laws.
It would prevent Congress from being able to do anything about it, and most importantly,
it would completely eliminate the boundaries and barriers that had been put in place by
international treaties and organizations like the World Trade Organization.
This act, the Fart Act, would allow the President to unilaterally create as many tariffs as
he wants on any country that he wants, and no one would be allowed to stop him.
Not our Congress, not the voters, and not any kind of international organization or
treaty designed to protect us and other countries.
This is Donald Trump's real first step in becoming a dictator here in the United States.
I know we've talked about that, we've heard the language, we've seen the attacks on the
press.
We've seen him try to literally wrap himself in a flag, but this order here actually takes
that next step that he had not physically taken yet.
He'd spoken about it, but he hadn't done it.
He is trying to circumvent the rules of both this country and other countries in order
to continue his disastrous trade war.
A trade war that nobody in this country or any other country wants to happen.
This is a matter of pride and a matter of ego for Donald Trump at this point.
He didn't understand tariffs and international trade before he came into office.
He didn't understand it when he put these tariffs in place, but now he has gone too
far into the deep end, and is too narcicisstic to admit that he doesn't know how to swim,
because that's what's happening here.
And, in order to not look weak on the international stage and in front of his base here in the
U.S, he's trying to put this FART Act into place so that Congress can't strip him of
this power, because then that would be a ... You know, symbolic castration of this administration
in this one area.
Donald Trump, I think at this point actually understands how badly he screwed up, but he's
also too crazy to admit that he did, and there is nothing that will stop him from taking
this trade war to the absolute extreme.
Meanwhile, the tariffs being raised by other countries on U.S goods are essentially nuking
our economy.
Donald Trump doesn't care about that.
He's not acknowledging in that.
He's pretending it's not happening, but that's what happens in a trade war, especially a
trade war that is being run by an absolute dictator wannabe moron like Donald Trump.

July 5, 2018 | Promote Your Staff But Don't Think About Raising Wages | Straight Talk with Lou Mosca - Duration: 2:29.
♪♪♪
Hey there.
So I read this article on Fast Company about should you ever take a promotion without a
financial raise -- without more money.
I guess you can think about it in a couple of different ways but here's what I think
about it.
I think that opportunity should always dwarf money.
Now, if opportunity dwarfs money repeatedly and more money doesn't come, then you're obviously
not doing something right.
I think opportunity should dwarf money.
For example, I've been at American Management [Services] for 20 years now -- actually, next
month is 20 years.
I've probably had 7 or 8 position changes in the 20 years to get me to where to Chief
Operating Role probably 4, 5, 6 years ago, I don't recall,
and not every one of those changes resulted in a higher compensation package.
But it ultimately got me to where I wanted to be and the money followed.
When I interview folks and I look at folks and I talk to people that might want to join
American Management Services,
if anyone of them tells me they're leaving where they're at because of money I won't
hire them.
In fact, I won't even continue the interview.
To me, upward mobility, opportunity, career path, being able to demonstrate how spectacular
you are versus
how spectacular you think you are, should give you the confidence to take a step sometimes
without money.
Do I think people should go backward?
I think people should earn whatever the heck they can earn.
I think that money should be a motivator and money should be a driver, but it should be
based on the results
and what game you bring.
What A-game do you actually bring?
What impact, result, what deliverable have you brought to the table that makes you special,
that should get you special money?
I never look to hire people, I never look to promote people based on just dough.
Just based on money.
I want to see what people lead with -- it should be their heart and their DNA and, in
my opinion, the money will follow.
Those are my thoughts, I don't know if they make sense to you.
If they do or if they don't, you want to talk about it, (800) 743-0410.
Have a great day.

The Untold Truth Of Firehouse Subs - Duration: 5:08.
Chances are, if you've heard of Firehouse Subs, you're a loyal fan.
What started as a simple sandwich shop in Florida has expanded to just over 1,100 stores
around the nation, and while it's not yet as well known as Subway, in 2017 Firehouse
Subs was voted the most popular sandwich shop in the country.
So why do people love it so much?
Here's a look at some things you didn't know about Firehouse Subs.
The "anti-Subway"
Called the "anti-Subway" by Business Insider, Firehouse Subs doesn't bother trying to position
itself as a healthy alternative to fast food.
Instead, they focus on taste, piling their hefty sandwiches high with meats, cheese,
and homemade sauces to satisfy customers with big appetites.
How committed to meat is Firehouse Subs?
When they finally began offering healthier options in 2014, rather than add veggies,
they instead just began offering sandwiches with low-fat dressing and less bread.
The founders boasted that even the under-500 calories sandwich menu has the exact same
amount of meat as its more indulgent counterparts.
Rags to riches
According to CNBC, founders Chris and Robin Sorensen only had $100 to their names when
they first opened Firehouse Subs in Jacksonville, Florida in 1994.
But the brothers, who come from a family of firefighters, believe that being broke led
to the eventual success of their national sandwich chain.
Robin told CNBC
"Even though I didn't understand it at the time, being broke forced us to be patient,
and that patience really turned out to be a service.
We were able to learn a lot more about the business and grow at the right pace."
Hurricane Katrina
After Hurricane Katrina devastated the Gulf Coast in 2005, the Sorensen brothers donated
time and equipment to help first responders in Mississippi.
That led to a company-wide commitment to public service through the Firehouse Subs Public
Safety Foundation, which has raised more than $33 million to help benefit first responders
in 43 states and Puerto Rico, providing financial assistance and donating modern equipment to
firehouses around the nation.
"The Firehouse Subs Public Safety Foundation in my opinion is the best thing that we've
ever done."
And the Firehouse Subs Public Safety Foundation is particularly busy during the holidays,
providing free meals to first responders.
Jim Sherman, who owns Firehouse franchises in Alabama told Small Business Trends that
the idea came from his daughter.
"I used to be in the Coast Guard and had duty on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.
Luckily, most of the time we had a galley that would feed us but in a couple of places,
we didn't have that.
So bringing food to those people during the holidays is something that's near and dear
to me."
The unique murals
Whether or not you're a fan of the elaborate firefighter-themed murals found on the inside
of every Firehouse Subs location, they don't just exist to go with the first responder
theme.
Every mural in each of the Firehouse Subs locations is a unique tribute to the firehouse
in the local community.
Local fire departments get a say in what the mural looks like, and some even donate old
photos and equipment to the restaurant to really spruce up the place.
Surprisingly, every single mural in each of the Firehouse Subs restaurants has been created
by the same artist: Joe Puskas.
Puskas starts each custom mural as a pencil sketch and then he and his team paint them.
They always feature a fire truck that's unique to that particular city or town, as well as
some personalized details like the town's fire dog.
According to Foodbeast, the whole process can take up to 70 hours to complete.
Level 55
Anyone who has been to a Firehouse Subs restaurant knows that it's a haven for hot sauce junkies.
When you order a sandwich, you can top it with any number of hot sauces ranked from
1 to 10, or "barely there" to "melt your face off."
After Firehouse Subs got wind of hot sauce challenges posted to YouTube, in 2015 they
posted their own video of their ultimate "Level 55" hot sauce challenge, where they challenged
customers to try each of the levels of hot sauce, from 1 to 10 on their sandwich.
This adds up to - you guessed it - 55.
This challenge seems like it's more about pushing your limits than actually enjoying
a sandwich, because who would want to dump 10 different types of sauce of their food?
Don't hold the mayo
When you order a Firehouse Sub, you're going to get a generous helping of mayonnaise, because
the Sorensen Brothers believe that mayo is the "glue" that holds their sandwiches together.
Robin told Thrillist,
"In the South, we put mayonnaise on everything, so it wasn't anything we even discussed.
You put mayonnaise on a sandwich."
The mayonnaise used on the sandwiches is in fact Duke's mayonnaise, which any Southerner
would immediately recognize as the favorite spread of Dixieland.
But that isn't the only hand-picked ingredient in a Firehouse Sub.
Chris and Robin personally choose every part of the sandwich, which is why the pickles
are from Katz's Deli in New York City, the bread is sourced from a French bakery in Atlanta,
and the 16-hour smoked brisket comes from Saddler's Smokehouse in Texas.
Homemade Hook & Ladder
If you don't have a Firehouse Sub nearby, don't worry, because you can make their signature
Hook & Ladder sandwich yourself thanks to this copycat recipe from Genius Kitchen.
Sure, it may not have all those fancy ingredients from around the world, but all you need is
smoked turkey breast, honey glazed ham, and melted Monterey Jack cheese, along with mayo,
mustard, hot sauce, onions, and of course, a toasted roll.

New Facebook Program Can Predict Your FUTURE - Duration: 3:12.
Facebook has filed a patent for a program that can predict your future, and I'm going
to tell you all about it, right now on IO.
Welcome back to IO I'm charlotte dobre, if you could have any superpower, flying,
being able to see the future, what would you want the most and why.
Well its seems you might not need a superpower to find out what your future has in store,
facebooks new program might be able to do it for you.
Listen, whether you like it or not, facebook knows a lot about you.
It knows who your friends are, where you hang out, what apps you use that are connected
to your facebook account.
In fact, facebook knows you better than your friends, better than your family.
We already know facebook listens to you too, it logs into your microphone to listen to
your surroundings, including your TV so it can figure out what you're watching.
A patent for another app tracks your daily routine.
Things like where you work, where you buy coffee, where you grocery shop, and shops
you enter.
Facebook also has a new AI that can essentially be used to predict future behaviour, based
on all your past behaviour.
Things like whether or not you're going to get married, if you're going to graduate,
get hired, have a child and even when you are going to die.
It can do all of this because humans are essentially pretty predictable, and artificial intelligence
is becoming extremely advanced.
The program will take your data, log your major life events and predict what will happen
next.
From there it determines how closely its prediction matches up to your real life, adjust calculation
and over time it will become more and more accurate.
Why would Facebook wanna do this?
One word, Advertising.
Oh, im sorry, you thought you would be able to use this program to find out what your
future holds, no no.
This information is for facebook.
Not for you.
The system quote, provides advertisements to the user responsive to the prediction of
one or more life change events.
I suppose this could be useful if you, let say, are in a relationship and then you get
married, and then down the line you're going to start seeing advertisements about baby
products when you're thinking of having a baby.
And then you might actually have a baby because the advertisements are making you want a baby
so then you have a baby and before you know it we are all controlled by advertisements.
I'm officially scared.
The good news is, because it's a patent that has been filed, this program might not
actually exist yet.
Facebook just wants to own the rights to the program before anyone else.
That being said, it also could mean that they are already working on it.

Blogging - A Staple to Your Marketing Efforts - Duration: 3:28.
This week we are going to dive into the benefits of blogging.
What's up Fish Fans!
My name is Marcus.
You're watching Marketing Madness, the Blue Fish vlog!
We've been hearing that people think blogging is a lost art.
That with so much social media and the various outlets where you can put out content people
wonder if there is any real value to blogging.
We would like to use this video to make the case for blogging.
We believe it should be a staple in your marketing efforts.
The number one reason why you should blog is so that you can communicate your personality
with the people that are reading it.
Through reading your posts, they start to get a feel for who you are, how you operate,
and how you think…
And that's a good thing!
You want to work with people that know your personality and accept you for who you are.
Warts and all...
Another reason that you want to blog is to educate.
When you educate you become an authority on the topic.
By blogging and teaching others, it shows just how in-depth an understanding you have
of a particular topic or subject.
It puts prospects at ease.
The third reason to blog is SEO.
Every additional page that you have on your website is going to be a chance for you to
have additional keywords, meta tags, title tags, and h1 or h2 tags.
All of those go towards Google ranking you higher.
Writing good, creative, and unique content will help you rank for long tail keywords.
So it's really important that you write those articles!
I want to put a bug in your ear and discuss whether you should be blogging or vlogging?
Well surprise, I think you should being doing both.
If we did not believe in video we would not invest the time and energy into doing Marketing
Madness as a weekly vlog.
We have found that video does really well on Facebook and YouTube.
And vlogging works really well on your website especially if you have the video transcribed
so that the text appears along with the video.
This means that you also get the push from Google that we mentioned earlier.
Your content marketing strategy should be well rounded.
People consume content differently.
In previous episodes we've talked about how different platforms have different cultures.
Some people prefer to read and digest consumable blog post, some people like video.
We do both because it fits in with our content distribution strategy.
Tip of the week is to put some type of unique piece of content out every week.
Again, it leverages you as an authority.
If you couldn't guess, teaching is a passion of mine and sharing my knowledge of what I've
been able to gain in this industry is extremely important to me.
It is part of my legacy.
I'd just like to encourage you with one last thought.
For those of you out there that are thinking "Well, I really don't have anything to share…"
The truth is you do.
Sometimes you might just need to research your topic a little bit more before you actually
push it out to your audience.
The cool thing about blogging is that as you're going through that process you're teaching
yourself.
Well, that's a wrap for this week!
I want to thank you for checking in.
Make sure to hit that like button.

Hey, Rhino!
I brought you your share from our latest job we did.
Just a sec, man.
That was nice working with you.
Give me five, my friend!
And this is just a beginning.
Come, I'll show you something.
The properties of this crystal haven't been studied yet.
But scientists believe that it might have extraterrestrial origin
which explains its nickname, the Martian Rock.
A small sample of it is going to be taken for research,
while the crystal itself will be displayed at the Central Museum of Swine City.
You are welcome to see it for yourself.
Well, how do you like this thing?
You are not going to…
Exactly!
Well, off we go.
Okay, that's better.
How did you get in? The door was closed.
Really? We didn't notice.
I'm sorry, but it's late and the museum is closed for today.
But we are just getting started.
That's much better.
Nothing's going stop us now!
That was a good workout, team!
Yeah, if only we had a chance to use for work.
Careful with your words, Zac!
The fact that there's no crime in Severia is a real blessing.
You can't argue with that.
But it's kind of weird, don't you think?
There's no crime but there's a special team.
Is everyone hearing that?
Listen to me, team.
This is not a drill.
The world is in actual danger.
Two thugs have broken into the Central Museum of Swine City.
You need to stop the villains!
Yes, sir! We won't let you down!
Rhino, this is not an exhibit.
Yeah?
It looks really pretty though.
Hey? What's taking you so long?
Who is this?
I don't know.
Probably, some tyrant, dictator, hegemon…
Hegemon?
That's cool.
Come, I'm gonna show you something that is actually cool.
Finally!
A real call instead of a drill.
There it is, my beauty.
- Let's grab it and leave! - Wait!
What is this?
This is the point where a professional takes over.
There it is,
my precious!
What you meant to say is "ours."
Yes, yes, of course.
Rhino, take the loot and leave.
I'll hold them back.
Why don't you take the loot?
Are you joking?
I can't even pick up this bag!
Take it and don't argue!
And don't you worry about me.
I've been in worse situations before.
The window!
He won't go far. Follow me!
Darwin, you're a genius.
Surrender!
Right!
All right.
This is how you want to do it?
Let's have it out then!
That's a smart choice.
Let's see what you're gonna say to this!
It's time for someone to hit the hay.
Sweet dreams, big boy!
You think I won't touch a girl?
I think you are not that fast!
I have to say, great job, team!
Now we just have to bring the exhibits back to the museum.
Wait a minute.
I don't see the most important piece here.
My precious!
I can't believe that stupid rhinoceros
thought I was going to share you with him!
This day will go down in history!
This is the day when Darwin the Atomic Monkey
became world's greatest super villain!
I swear,
there will come a day
when I will get my revenge,
you sleazy monkey!
Even if to do this,
I will have to destroy
half of the world!
Nothing will stop me!
I'm Hegemon!

Bangladesh Power Crisis and Solutions || Bangladesh Electricity Issues || "SHONAR BANGLA" Ep16 - Duration: 10:06.
hello friends
welcome to our channel social life
you are watching our special series Shonaar bangla
and this is Episode 16
in Todays video we will discuss the power crisis of bangladesh
and installed capacity of bangladesh
and provide info about Large Power plants being constructed in Bangladesh
and will also see future projections of Bangladesh Power Generation
so please watch the video til the end
there is a little announcement to be made
you can support us on paypal, paytm, patreon
lets begin...
in the recent decade bangladesh's power generation capacity has increased rapidly
it was 7000MW in 2010 and by 2017 it became 16000MW
but still bangladesh needs more power
the huge reason behind this is
if we look at the power percapita consumption of bangladesh
then it is below 1000kWH
while it should be atleast greater than 3000kWh
then only Bangladesh will have stable electricity in houses
currently 4-6 hours of power outage is seen in Bangladesh in rural areas in peak hours
in 2010 Bangladesh had a coverage of 45% of electricity
and now in 2018 it has increased to more than 80%
and the govt has planned to make it 100% before 2020
and for this Bangladesh needs to generate more electricity
and the next big reason is 100 Economy zones developed by Bangladesh by 2030
to build and run these lot of electricity will be needed
and many industrial zones will also be built in this
BEZA is responsible for building all these
we have already produced a video on Special Economic Zones
you can watch by clicking on the 'i' button
these are the reasons for electricity generation in bangladesh
and the Bangladesh Power Development Board is working fast to increase the power in BD
and due to better foreign policies
bangladesh is being helped by India, China, Japan to increase power capacity
now lets see the power plants which can resolve bangladesh's power issues
Bangladesh produces more than 50% power from natural gas
but now these reserves are ending
this is the reason Bangladesh is exploring other options for power
and has started to build coal power plants
from 2015-2017, 27 new coal power plant works have been initiated
and by 2021 bangladesh wants to generate a total power of 24000MW
only 2% power is produced by coal in BD
and now it is intended to bring this to more than 50%
By 2030 BD's total power generation will be 40000MW
and by 2040 it will be 60000 MW
and Bangladesh's power Board is working hard to achieve this
new options are being explored to increase power generation cpacity
and INDIA, China, Japan are helping BD for this
BD and china made an agreement in 2016
regarding coal power plants
The largest Coal power plant is being built in Chittagong
which is also known as Banshkali power station
its cost is estimated as 2.5 B dollars
its being constructed by S alam group and Shandong Electric Power Construction
it will be completed by 2020
and will produce 1.2GW of energy
another agreement is made between china and BD for patuakhali plant
its cost is estimated as 2B dollars
this is being constructed by Rural Power Company Limited
and NORINCO International Cooperation Ltd
it will also be completed by 2020
and will produce 1320MW of energy
the next coal power plant is Payra coal fired power plant
its between China power company Ltd., and Bangladesh
it costs 1.5B dollar and has a capacity of 1200MW
in 2018 may another agreement is made between BD and China
for another coal power plant
it will be built on Maheshkali Island which is in Cox Bazar
its estimated cost is 2B dollar
and capacity of 1320MW
around half of the coal plants being built in Bangladesh are built by china
and china promises that all the plants will be clean coal plants
Japan is also building 6 huge projects in Bangladesh
in which come Dhaka Metro Rail, matarbari port and matarbari coal power plant
its cost is 660M dollars
and can generate 1100MW of energy
it will be completed by 2024
India is also building a power plant called Rampal coal power plant
it is an agreement between India's NTPC and Bangladesh Power Development Ltd
Its being built by Bangladesh India friendship power corporation ltd
it will be completed by 2020
and it will generate 1300MW of Electricity
but this power plant has been protested the most
because 9km away from this the world's largest mangrove forest is located
and it can be at risk
apart from this india's company Adani Group is building the biggest of its power plant yet
after completion of this plant the electricity will be exported to Bangladesh
it can generate 1600MW
the largest yet power plant of Bangladesh Roppur NPP is being built in Roppur
it will have a total capacity of 2.4GW
and estimated cost is 12B $
and is completely funded by Russia
and is constructed by Russia's rosatom state corporation
India is also helping Russia and Bangladesh with some non critical works
by 2023 its phase 1 will be completed and will generate 1.2GW of energy
and by 2024 roppur npp will be completed
and then will produce 2.4GW of electricity
we already did a video on Roppur NPP too, Please check that out for more details
these were some major power plants being built in Bnagladesh
if all of these complete on time
then by 2021 Bangladesh will produce more than 24000MW
and by 2024 it will reach 30000MW
and the issues with electricity in Bangladesh can be resolved by 2021
its doubtless that Bangladeshi govt is working hard to increase the power generation capacity
but it is also facing lot of criticism and
as all the power plants are of coal
and the opposition thinks that the environment will be polluted with this
even protests are being made
and as a reply bangladeshi govt said that
we are worlds most densely populated country
and solar power plants need a lot of land which is quiet difficult to find in bangladesh
the great thing is Individuals in bangladesh are utilizing solar panels
till now more than 4Million households are using solar panels on houses
that is more than 2Cr people are producing and consuming electricity individually
this amounts to 14% of bangladesh's population
and BD is worlds largest country in solar home systems
and the next target is to increase solar household from 4.2M to 6M
and world bank is helping Bangladesh in this
and recently world bank has announced 55M dollar funding for this
apart from this to increase electricity efficiency
and to expand the national grid system
world bank has provided 560M dollar loan
to sum up the entire video
then we can see that Bangladesh is increasing power generation capacity rapidly
if BD reaches capacity of >30000MW by 2030
then the domestic demand for electricity will be met and sufficed
and electricity can also be then distributed to SEZ and Industrial Zones
but the biggest issue that remains is the environment
