It's been a while
since I visited the beauty salon,
After the promotions, I took a break for a couple days.
Are you curious what's gonna happen today?
Well not much really, but to celebrate the end of my promotion period,
I'm gonna dye my hair back to a darker color.
(Enjoying the last moment with the orange hair.)
Currently applying coloring agent...
(This is a 3-person job.)
I totally feel like a rockstar!
All the efforts put onto this hair, being reverted.
As much of the effort you guys put on my hair, ma'am,
I think I did pretty well.

You can witness my hair color getting darker.

I dyed my hair red orange, and apparently red pigment is the hardest to extract/get rid of...
So we're gonna try this method,
and if the reddish color still remains, then I probably have to dye my hair again.
We're done with this part though, however for the time being.

Don't fall for these lies about growing your cleaning business - Duration: 5:09.
- I have noticed a few lies and a few misbeliefs,
floating around in the cleaning community.
In this video I will get to the truth of the matter.
So that you can move your cleaning business forward, faster.
Let's get started.
I'm Ilze Whiteman, known as the Cleaning Coach
and I've run a successful cleaning business for 12 years.
And now I help cleaning business owners do the same.
It's very normal to feel overwhelmed,
to feel lost and out of control
while running your cleaning business.
Like you never have enough time.
The problem is that people believe
they need to compete on price with other cleaning companies.
They need to be the same as other cleaning companies.
If they don't get their bid right,
the same as other cleaning companies,
then they're not gonna get more customers.
And that their customer tells them they're too expensive,
so therefore they are too expensive.
And they can't see a way how to build
their business past that stage.
So today let's bust some of those cleaning business myths.
Lie one is that people feel the need,
or people believe, that they need to charge
just as much, or just below,
or just higher than their competitors.
And that they need to do the same
as them to be able to compete.
That is why if you're a small cleaning business owner,
you are struggling and you're still
the grafter in your business.
And this thinking is completely backwards.
You need to change your payment structure.
You should be doing things completely different
to stand way out above your competitors.
To have a competitive advantage.
You will then attract quality customers.
That they don't expect you to clean
their house in two hours, that will appreciate you,
and help you grow your business.
And that will also help you attract quality staff members.
Then we get to lie two.
If you at the moment believe that you're very expensive
and all your customers tell you that you're very expensive
and you really just don't know a way out of this
because upping your prices is not the way out.
Then I've got good news for you.
A lot of people get stuck at this stage.
And they thoroughly believe that they can't charge anymore.
You'll probably find when you charge very low prices
you probably had a lot more customers coming in.
And now, you don't because you're charging a lot higher.
But it's not that you're charging
a lot higher that's actually the problem.
The problem is if you start on the same payment structure
you were at when you charging lesser amounts of money
you're still attracting the customer
that's not willing to pay for your higher cleaning service.
And that's not the only reason
why you're not getting the amount of customers in
that you used to at the lower rate.
If you're still doing the same things you did,
when you charged less, then you will attract customers
that's not willing to pay your prices.
You need to up your payment structure
and you need to build a brand
and get known for a quality service
and therefore attract high quality customers.
Like Angie in my Facebook group.
She was already charging quite high prices
and she believed it wasn't possible.
But three days into my raise your prices system
and she actually implement the system,
implemented what she learned
and she actually saw result with her first customer
straight away and she couldn't believe how easy it was
and how people commented how professional she was
and they loved her for it.
So lie three.
There is no such thing as a quality cleaner.
Never find anybody good enough or that's reliable.
And now you might feel that you can't trust
the process or trust any of the staff members
'cause you've been let down in the past.
You see most people believe
that all they need to do is stick an advert out there
and they will get quality cleaning staff.
And then they wonder why they struggle.
And they have a hard time getting
really good decent staff.
The truth is, there are loads
of really good quality cleaning staff out there.
So if you're thinking of paying the minimum wage
or very low wage you will not be attracting
the right quality staff member,
because they know their worth, they know their value.
And therefore they will be expecting
to have the wages that reflects that.
Remember these employees are priceless
and they can either make or break your business.
And if you just change your pricing structure
you can earn more and therefore
you'll be able to pay your staff members
a lot more and there won't be such a dip in income
when you first get your staff members in.
And you have to build a brand that
attracts high quality cleaning staff.
And if you don't change your pricing structure
you will still be stuck in this same position
grafting day in and day out inside your business,
instead of working on your business,
feeling lost and without any structure.
So stop wasting time with customers
that buy on price only and low quality staff.

Ved gennemgang af brorens konto gik det nemlig op for socialdemokraten, at Syvstjernen, det plejecenter i Munkebo hvor broren Carsten er bosat, gentagne gange havde hævet penge på hans kreditkort i et år - uden at have den fornødne fuldmagt
Politianmeldt af plejecenterDa Claus Jensen 30. juni i sommer kørte hen til brorens lejlighed for at konfrontere plejepersonalet, var det på anmodning fra banken, der flere gange havde oplevet at måtte afvise netop plejepersonalet, når de ville hæve penge på brorens kort uden en fuldmagt
Men i stedet for at få brorens kreditkort udleveret, som han reelt var berettiget til, endte besøget med, at Claus Jensen blev politianmeldt for trusler mod personalet
En sag, der efter seks ugers bortvisning fra brorens lejlighed, blev droppet af Fyns Politi, fordi der ikke var beviser for noget strafbart
- Jeg har ikke gjort andet end at hente hævekortet, så vi kunne få et overblik over den økonomiske situation, som banken havde bedt om
Jeg kan kun afvise, at jeg har truet nogen, siger Claus Jensen til Ekstra Bladet og fortsætter: - Det gør mig både ked af det og vred, at jeg så skal bortvises fra min brors lejlighed på baggrund af den anmeldelse, der er så spinkel
Broren er på grund af sin uhelbredelige sygdom næsten ikke i stand til at kommunikere, og kan efter Claus Jensens udsagn ikke stave til sit eget navn

- Der er hævet en del penge siden juli sidste år. Bare på en dag er der hævet omkring 8500 kroner til tøj
Der ligger godt nok bilag for det, men de er ikke underskrevet efter kommunens regler
- Jeg er jo bare nødt til at stole på, at Carsten har fået det, de siger
Jeg undrer mig bare over, at de ikke har fulgt proceduren og fået underskrevet de her bilag, fortæller Claus Jensen til Ekstra Bladet
Han noterer sig også, at bilagene ikke stemmer overens med det beløb, der er hævet på kontoen
- Der mangler 1400 kroner i bilagene, men jeg har ikke fået noget svar fra Kerteminde Kommune om, hvor de er blevet af, siger byrådsmedlemmet
Kommunaldirektør erkender alvorlige fejlEkstra Bladet har efterfølgende været i kontakt med Tim Jeppesen, der er kommunaldirektør i Kerteminde Kommune
Han indrømmer, at kommunen har begået alvorlige fejl og ikke har haft den fuldmagt, som man skulle bruge, når man har hævet penge på Carstens Jensens kreditkort
- Hvordan ser I på sagen, hvor I ikke har haft den fuldmagt til at hæve penge på Carstens kort, som I skal have? - Vi bør selvfølgelig have en fuldmagt
Derfor har vi brugt denne sag til at kigge på vores egne retningslinjer og procedurer og prøve at indskærpe dem over for vores medarbejdere
- Hvad tænker du om, at I ikke har udleveret det ulovligt anvendte kreditkort, da Claus Jensen bad om det, men i stedet politianmeldt ham? - I den situation, hvor han beder om kortet, er det vores medarbejderes oplevelse, at han har været truende
Den situation drøftede vi, og vi konkluderede, at vi gerne ville have vurderet, om der var sket en overtrædelse af lovgivningen
Derfor politianmeldte vi ham. - I har heller ikke overholdt jeres egne regler om, at der skal være minimum to medarbejdere, som underskriver bilag
Det er heller ikke gjort? - Det tænker jeg umiddelbart det samme om, som med den manglende fuldmagt
Der har været nogle ting, som vi ikke har været gode nok til at sikre, og det skal vi have
Det har vi også indskærpet over for vores medarbejdere, at de skal sikre fremover
- Men hvilke konsekvenser får det, at I har overtrådt reglerne? Banken har sagt, at jeres medarbejdere gentagne gange er blevet afvist, når de ville hæve penge på Carsten Jensens kort
Det burde vel have rejst et rødt flag? - Det har haft den konsekvens for de involverede medarbejdere, at vi har haft en samtale med dem, om hvordan vi gør fremadrettet
Sker der på trods af den samtale nogle ting, som ikke er i orden, så er det en ny situation
