Hello again Infonauta, welcome or welcome to a new installment of your YouTube channel Infoductiva ...
this time I bring you another trick for windows 7 this time we will see how to clean the directory of the cache
of tuning or updating
interesting, right?
We begin ...
well, first of all you should know that every time we do an installation of a windows application
will save it ... will safeguard
an installation cache and this will not be of any use to us once we have
said application or said applications
installed in our system
how do we do this? good in principle what we are going to do is come to our hard drive C let's go into the windows folder
once here we will locate the folder called SoftwareDistribution ... we enter inside it
as you see here it is already giving me a size
of 1.29Gb is not negligible
we went inside as I was saying
and then we enter the folder
download that is where we are downloading
as you see here is giving me a size of
210 Mb but if we get
its properties as you see are 224 Mb
and in the rough they would be about 235
let's go inside and what we do is select all the elements
with the Ctrl E key combination for example
and what we do directly is press the Delete key
and then click on itself
after eliminating all this as is logical
It would be highly recommended to empty the trash
We are going to tell you that we continue, that we give
administrator permissions ... if you have a password
administrator will ask you and you will have to say that if
and it's already eliminating
4044 elements in my case
that suppose a cache really slows down our team and that occupies a space that really
we do not need...
or better said, it would be good for us to have it ... it's already ...
Well that's it
thank you very much for sharing my videos on your social networks
thank you for subscribing and for giving the notification bell ... very many

READERS AND SAINTS : ¿PORQUÉ HAGO LO QUE HAGO? (SUBTITLES IN ENGLISH) - Duration: 2:39.
I truly, deeply, HATE...doing the dishes
I got some messages
asking me why I decided to start a blog about the books I read
I created this video to tell you the truth about it
I needed to do something creative instead of doing the dishes XD
and get focused on helping others to feel better with themselves through the truths I learn by the spirit
For many moths I had this strong feeling
that I should share my feelings and my testimony with others
The simplest way to do that was writing in a blog
In the beginnig I felt a little bit afraid about sharing what I knew
People use to critize...and you know, sometimes that makes you feel lonely
When I started blogging
all my fears disappeared
I started to feel more comfortable
and things started to work out
I do not like talking about doctrine
But I know that I can give words of comfort
to those who are in need
So...I do what I do because nobody else can do it for me
It is the same for everything else...
Think about it everytime you are not in the mood of doing something
This way your weakness will become your strenght
For example, I hate doing the dishes
As you could see in the beginnig of this video
Who else will do your job?
So I stop thinking that doing the dishes is boring
And I turn this task in something beatiful I do for my family
So I do the dishes because I LOVE my FAMILY
The best for them and I it is to serve our food on clean plates
I believe there is so much trash information on the internet and on TV
I do not want to have a pile of this on my living room table for dinner
No. I am not a preach.
And I am not the best example to follow either
But I share what I believe because I know that I am helping others
to be happier
Someway I clean their tears and wash out their gray days

RITUAL in an ABANDONED PSYCHIATRIC HOSPITAL - HALLOWEEN - Abandoned Spain - Duration: 13:23.
What's up Abandoners! What are you doing?
Well, today I'm here with Óscar and Carlos, who have brought with me Abandoned Spain
and it's because we're going to record the Halloween special
for this we have come to a place, which is a child psychiatric hospital, Cheste's child psychiatry hospital
where there is always a lot of history
about things and events that have happened here
They say that at night ...
things happen, screams are heard
and well, as a Halloween special, what we are going to do is,
even though we do not believe in anything paranormal
What we are going to do is give a vote of confidence to the people who do believe
and we are going to do a ritual first
and then let's leave in ...
rooms, a camera with a light recording
while we put the phone to record the audio of what can be heard
after this what we will do is analyze this audio
in a real way, we're not going to invent anything
and then, then, we will go home
and so, the first thing we have to do is find the right place to do this ritual
so let's see if we find it
We were looking for a room that was that wide to be able to do it well
and we have found this, that now I will show you, that it is a room
very large central, as a kind of hall, and here I think it is the ideal place
Well yes, we believe that this is the perfect place
here exactly, to start with the ritual
With this aegisjalmur, symbol of the mask of terror and in the name of Hela, daughter of Loki and the giantess Angrboda
Queen over Helheim
I order the forces of death and perdition to pour their power on me.
Leave the dark beaches of the Nastrand,
where the sun never shines and receive me as your brother.
Grant me the indulgences of which I speak!
I have taken your name so that it becomes part of me
Now that we have performed the ritual, well it really is a Nordic offering
let's do the next part of the video, which is to go to certain rooms
specifically we are going to go to a room that was like quilted, which I suppose there is at the time ..
they would hold the people, and we are going to leave a camera in that and other rooms
with a light and we will also put a mobile to record the audio
once we have this ...
good meanwhile, we will teach you a little the psychiatric, the most
important and then once we finish this
we will analyze the audios that we have recorded
and let's go to it
This is the first room where we are going to leave the camera recording
is the one that told you that it is padded, although you do not see it
and here there are rest of fabrics from the walls,
because I guess this would be the typical room that would be put here ...
the patients who hurt themselves or others
here there are also remains of candles and a tripod, therefore they will have made some pictures here, I suppose
We are going to leave the first camera here and go to the next site
There is the mobile recording,
and the camera...
as well
This is the other room where we are going to leave
the audio note being recorded and I'm also going to leave the GoPro here with a tripod
We are about 30 or 40 meters from the other room, so you should listen to them ..
different things, if something is heard
Second camera set,
second audio note
and now we are going to show you the other part of the psychiatric hospital and in the meantime we left this that I recorded
While we leave the audio recording, we are going to show you this part, which for our taste is the most interesting
first we go here, I'm going to cut this because I'm going to walk that I'm going to look like a duck
there you can see how there are drawings
even puts 92-93, I guess it will be the last year in which this psychiatric office would be open
and you see drawings that is
clearly a sign that here what would have been interned children
All this that you see burned down,
there is a rumor that tells that there was a lady who went crazy and set fire to everything
the rumor says that in the fire there were several children who lost their lives
but we do not have data
that can corroborate the story, and this is just the rumor that is told.
In this burning hallway there is also
this part that are like small windows
I suppose they would communicate with rooms where there would be ..
people who would have to be controlling from outside
and those little windows are used for it
We do not know very well why, but throughout the building there are scattered
this kind of things, that look like bathtubs, and by the size they look like bathtubs for children
The truth is that if
it's here because you're not going to appreciate it but they're pretty small
We're back, let's stop this first and now let's go to the other room
first stop here the GoPro
For the voice note
Six minutes we have recorded
and we're here now to pick up the other audio note
Ups, what a shadow
We carry..
fourteen minutes recorded
In the other there were about six, so now we check it
We have already left the psychiatric hospital,
and just as we were leaving, a group of about eight or ten people making noise
so in the end what we have done is, we have taken the car and we have come to a nearby polygon.
Why are we inside the car?
We believe that the car is the best place where there is zero noise and we will be able to
listen much better recordings
So first let's listen to Oscar's recording
and then we'll put mine, and we'll see in the meantime if we hear something
Well, I give it to him?
Yes
You hear some background, but I think it's like a car passing by, or something
It may be an airplane too
Clear
Background
Yes
You do not hear, uh, anything
It's like background noise, but it's normal, there's a relatively close road
Yes
Irons...
I do not hear anything
Trees and little more
There you can hear us
That is already us when we came for the camera, and everything
I'm going to put mine
Although there are six minutes of recorded video ..
I'm really going to cut ...
the minutes of the beginning, that we are heard to be around and so on, and it does not make sense
This is still us
There you can not hear anything
There if that has been heard as a crack, a crack, that if I've heard but ...
Well, I do not
Do not? I do
I have heard like a little "PAP"
Here is how background sound ..
but what can a car be like
Perfectly
There the same, there is something else that has sounded
Yes
Was it the same when we approached?
I think maybe if it's us, if
Let's see how much he has left ..
one minute
Yes, well one minute maybe we were already close
Yes
Well, maybe it was not us why ...
Now, now that it's us
Well, I would not know what to tell you
But to see you also have to tell, that is mobile ...
I was in a room that looked out onto an interior courtyard, there were trees ...
we have seen bats inside ...
of the building
More then the donkey ....
The donkey, the dogs ...
it was windy...
It can be anything, there were bugs ...
Of course screams and things like that ...
We have not heard any crying ...
no scream ...
it is more, neither during takes, between takes, nor anything ...
Yes
We have not heard anything weird
Yes, well then ...
the verdict we can give,
is that at least we in these more or less four hours that we have been inside the psychiatric
There have been moments that we have been silent, although we have not recorded it
because between taking and taking we were silent
noises were heard
but that's it, outside of
animals, we've seen a rat out there moving around, we've seen several bats
out of that we have not heard anything
With this we do not mean that maybe there are people who do believe
not in our case
and that maybe he could have heard things, but we ...
from a realistic point of view
with these recordings we can not say what we think
that we have seen nothing
Exactly, anyway, I'll leave you here in the description of the video the two recordings
for those who want to listen to them, I will cut the parts that we are heard to go and return
because it's not worth it
but I leave it in case someone wants to analyze them more in depth or put audio programs or whatever to see if
so find something else
but until then
Well folks, well up to here the special Halloween of Abandoned Spain
this time we wanted to deal with a topic a little different than normal
and we hope you liked it a lot and enjoyed it, so ...
And after this cut that I just put because they have gone through here like four cars
I can only say that you give them a good like to the video
that if you are not subscribed, you should do it
and that you put here a comment to see what you think about the video
So, see you next week Ciao!
A moment, a moment
let's let the kids watch a little more video, now comes the best video
You will like it
Good kids, for all good ritual we need the following elements
Blood, very important
Wine, if possible from the brand HU HA, Techno Tinto
A wonderful wooden bowl, then can be reused as salad bowls
it's fake wood, by the way
candles, they are worth anything, they are not exorcised or anything like that
Larger candles
and wipes to clean yourself after doing all the ritual
and it would be
Special thanks to my friend Rosa, @rainer_rous, for all the help with the Nordic offering

Inktober So Far · My Process and Theme (The Struggle Has Been Really Real) - Duration: 6:41.
Hi my loves and welcome back.
Long time no see!
It's funny to think how different this month has been for me compared to this time last
year when I was posting a video every single day.
I can't believe how quickly this month has passed without me posting anything!
That wasn't the plan, obviously.
I knew I'd miss maybe a week or so, even this video your watching was recorded a couple
of weeks ago with the intention of having as my 'First Half of Inktober' catch-up
mid-month, and I've only just gotten round to editing it.
I really underestimated just how difficult moving house would be and adjusting to a new
space to live and work in.
A month in now, I'm still nowhere near used to it or settled into a new routine.
But sometimes you just have to bite the bullet, work with what you've got, get on with the
things you need to be getting on with, whether you're comfortable or not.
So that's where we're at today.
I wanted to share my progress so far with Inktober.
Like I was saying, very different to last years.
This one has just been rife with struggle and mistakes and stress and dissatisfaction.
But it's also been a real lesson for me in perseverance and also in taking a risk
in doing things that just aren't going to work, and being able to make those mistakes
and give myself permission to fail, which I've discovered is so much easier when you're
not sharing every step of the way on social media.
So to start out with, I was using colour unlike last year where I really got into playing
with value.
I just wasn't in the mood for the greyscale look but the only coloured inks I had were
the Winsor and Newton ones which I've always had issues with.
Whether it's the ink drying up or evaporating or coming out a totally different colour to
last time I used them.
So this time round, I dug them out to discover that only a few of them were still usable.
It must be to do with how I store them, I've just always found them problematic like that.
The limited colour palette problem turned out to be more of a good thing though as the
colours themselves went really nicely together and had an overall, autumnal look about them.
So I was pretty excited about what I could do with them.
Then, coming up with a theme.
I'm not good at following prompt lists, especially for a daily drawing thing, the
pressure of interpreting a word that might not spark something for me… just doesn't
work.
So I always go with a theme.
It took me so long to come up with something I liked but eventually I settled on antiques,
which I was pretty happy with as an idea.
And again, that and the colours, I had a good idea of what finished product I was looking
for.
In the meantime, I was already a week or so behind and had been able to see other peoples
inktober art.
All of it is amazing and I love seeing the different ways that people are doing things.
It's all so inspiring…
I kind of wanted to do it too, do it all.
The harmony of Kendyll Hillegas' round food drawings, the simplicity and style of Furry
Little Peaches, the detail and pure quality of Audra Auclairs, that amazing contrast and
real celebration of ink in Loish's work.
It was so easy to see all that every day and think, whatever I do isn't gonna be anywhere
near as skilled or even just as stylistically MINE as that.
You start to question your voice, what your contribution will bring to the table.
But I cracked on with it anyway.
And I'm glad I did.
Inktober is just one of those things, since I completed it last year, I feel like it'll
just be an inevitable part of my autumn forever now.
I started with this approach, that you saw in the first drawing which was obviously completely
different, I was basically using these colours like I would watercolours.
And it just didn't work.
Ink has more of a mind of its own, it bleeds and it doesn't layer in the same way I wanted
it to.
The first drawing was okay but it wasn't what I had in mind.
So I changed my approach, adapted to inks needs, and also really tried to celebrate
inks qualities and highlight the beautiful colours I was using.
I initially wanted to outline the pieces with the lovely calligraphy set I got from Caroline,
one of my wonderful viewers, but again, that didn't go to plan.
And strangely, I didn't feel defeated.
I think the difference was that I already knew I wasn't going to be sharing each and
every drawing as it happened.
I was giving myself time to just try stuff, have it not work, try something else, but
keep making and keep finishing things, regardless of how they looked or how they met with my
expectations.
Obviously, going all month without sharing anything on social media wasn't the plan,
and it really isn't good for the health of my social media profiles, but I think it
was good for the health of my art, and my attitude towards it, and that is what matters
most at the end of the day.
I'm not totally satisfied with my inktober drawings.
I wanted to get more outside the box, really explore a different style, and due to things
going wrong, I did fall back into somewhere close to my comfort zone.
But I do always appreciate inktober for coming with lessons, and getting me into good habits.
When I'm settled in to the new place, I'm looking forward to challenging myself more
and finding a better balance with what I make and what I share.
But overall, I'd call this a success.
I think anyone that's drawn anything this month has to celebrate some form of success.
Whether you drew every day or just one day, or even if you didn't take part in inktober
at all, just did your own thing.
The importance of any challenge is catering it to you in a way where you'll actually
come out of it having tested yourself and in doing that, improving, maybe not in an
obvious way, just a little step in the right direction.
Anyway, this is what happens when I don't get to talk to you guys for a while.
I say all the things at once.
The footage for this video was a bit all over the place as the folders on my computer have
been a bit jumbled with the footage sitting around for so long, but I'll have a video
in a few days time about what I plan to do with the finished drawings where hopefully
you'll get to see them all.
I wanted to put them together into one big poster, just for me, not to sell, just to
keep them all in one place and be that physical representation of my second Inktober, completed
in full.
Let me know how you guys have been getting on.
I always love hearing your variations on different challenges, so if you've been doing something
different this month, I'd love to know more about it.
Thanks so much for watching and I'll see you soon for the next video.
Bye!

WHAT'S WRONG WITH CALLING A CHILD NAUGHTY? | Mindful Motherhood | Ysis Lorenna - Duration: 8:25.
Hi guys, welcome back to another mindful motherhood Monday today's topic is about
branding or labeling our children saying things like he's the naughty one or
she's the quiet one or he is the best at swimming he's not very good at tidying
up things that we say on a day to day basis without thinking and just because
you know it's the sort of thing that comes out quite naturally without you
thinking so I just want us all to think about that to think whether that has a
negative impact on our children and if there's anything that we can do to
change what we say to maybe kind of help our children's self-esteem
instead of damage it with our words so that's what we're talking about today I
hope you guys like today's topic it is very closely linked to last week's
topics so if you haven't seen that one yet I talked about how we can swap
praise for encouragement on a daily basis and yeah I'd love for you guys to
watch that video as well because it will be very closely related to this one if
you're new to my channel hi my name is Aziz and I post mindful motherhood
videos every Monday at 7 p.m. so please just subscribe to see more of these
videos also if you can see that my setup is a little bit different I'm actually
sitting on my sofa bed which has been pulled out as a bed my mum has come from
Brazil to stay with us for a couple of weeks which is so lovely and we're so
happy to have her here so we have the guest bedroom all set up as a proper
guest bedroom rather than my office so yeah that's why I'm sitting on the bed
so anyway without further ado let's get straight on with the video
so the idea for this week's topic came from when I overheard someone talking
about their child and referring to them as he is a naughty boy and I don't
usually use the word naughty in any case I hate that word and when I heard it
being referred to the child I instantly felt quite sorry for that child because
that child you know they might have been naughty in a specific situation but to
say that he is naughty it instantly branded that child and labeled that
child so it wasn't like anyone I knew it was just a conversation I overheard and
it gave me the idea for this video because this is something that I'm very
conscious of and I've always been really conscious or not branding my children
and it made me think and then I actually realized how much I do brand them maybe
not with the word naughty because that's something that I'm overly conscious off
but with other things you know I say things like she's a terrible sleeper
about Isabella and although these are you know minor things things that you
don't even think about it got me thinking is there a way that I can
improve my speech or say these things differently and that's when I started to
think about the topic of this video so the whole point about branding your
children is that you're not giving them a chance to change to be who they are or
who they want to be you're defining their personality based on maybe a
specific behavior over something or just one moment one situation or just one
side of their personality and that goes for positive behavior and negative
behavior as well I think we're just so quick to kind of categorize them or put
them in a box and say this child is like this this child is like that and we
don't really think about the impact that that has on our children and their
personalities their self-esteem their development we all know from firsthand
experience being parents that a child can be naughty and loving within the
space of a second so does that make your child loving does
make them naughty both none your child may have been mischievous by snatching a
toy but they could also have been the child who helped someone else who fell
down or someone horse alone in the corner of the classroom one child can be
the one that always comes first in the swimming class and the other one could
be the one that has the more refined technique when you actually think about
it labeling the behavior makes way more
sense than labeling the child and that's when your speech starts to change and
you start to say things like that was naughty or I don't like the word naughty
I would say that was very mischievous instead of saying you are a naughty boy
or a naughty girl I know saying things like you're a
naughty boy or a naughty girl is more of a trait of an older generation but there
is still a lot of that nowadays and I still hear a lot of that and also we
still do it with words that are not so negative or things that we don't think
there's any harm in saying like you're the best at swimming I didn't think
there was any harm in it until I actually thought about what am I saying
to my child am i saying anything about their behavior or am i putting them in
that little category that that person that's what they are our children
changed so quickly and we do too if someone said to me she's the one that's
good at languages then I would argue what about she's the one that's not so
good at socializing because she's got a little bit of social anxiety and that's
kind of the damage that it does by putting our children into boxes of
saying you know she is the naughty one she's the clever one she's the good one
of this is that they start to take those things as their identity and they might
not explore other areas of their personalities because they hear it over
and over again that that's what they are and so they start to believe that that's
all that they should be if you watched last week's episode I talked about using
encouragement to build your child's self-confidence and I think that goes
hand-in-hand with breaking down the branding the labeling of our children it
also helps to reduce the amount of excessive competitiveness that some
children can have because if you focus on the effort instead of the end result
that child won't necessarily want to do everything and anything to get to that
end result because they think that that's the only time they will get the
praise and the you know the well done is if they achieve so if you're struggling
with a child who's extremely competitive and you're finding it difficult maybe
try encouragement more than praise but that's last week's topic so go and watch
that video I'll leave it linked below it was a really interesting video with the
play a different perspective on praising your children so in general is all about
rewiring our brain to label the behavior and not the child so we would say that
was very mischievous or that was very naughty depending on the word that you'd
like to use instead of saying you're a naughty boy
or he's the naughty boy instead of saying he's the clever one or he's a
clever boy how about you say that was very clever of you when they do
something clever but to not label the child and label the behavior that is the
trick there if you use the naughty step that can become the thinking step and
that's what we do in our house when our children are having timeout they go onto
the thinking step so this might be something that you're all already doing
and if you are that is absolutely great because I think that it's so important
but even if just one or two of you are thinking this might give me a little bit
more encouragement to change my language and to kind of you know rewire my brain
for behavior rather than child labeling then I will feel very very happy that I
was able to help you guys in any way these videos helped me so much more than
you guys know because in doing these videos it makes me think about my own
parenting journey and the way that I say things to my children the way that I
think about certain things sorry that was my watch so yeah doing these videos
are great for me as well as a parent and I hope you guys find them helpful too if
you do please give this video a thumbs up don't forget to subscribe if you're

Dear Japanese People/日本の皆さまへ - I am happy to leave Japan - Duration: 7:58.
dear Japanese people and the Society of Japan. I'm half American half Japanese
and lived in Japan for 18 years and it was a great time but moving out of that
shit country and going to America after high school was the best decision
ever sorry people
I lived in Japan for 18
years and after high school I moved to America and that was one of the biggest
culture shocks that I ever had. moving from Japan one the most
collectivistic societies in the world to one of the most individualistic society
in the world was a drastic difference it changed me so much. but did i get brainwashed to
believe that America is the best country that everyone should be individualistic
no. I love Japanese culture I think to some degree everyone should be a
collective to keep the harmony. then why did I say that Japanese culture sucks
what the Japan sucks as a country to understand that we need to go back a few
days to when I climb the mountain called Tungurahua with my youtuber friend max
before we dive into this I need to go see this Museum of the Inca ruins by the
way I'm in Ecuador I'm not in Japan nor in my in America so let's go
so when I was going up Tungurahua with Max we started to talk about machine learning
oh by the way go check his channel out
Max and Maria but we're talking about machine learning and this is when I had
my idea to make this video this seems like a huge segue but but stay with me I
will definitely come back to my point of why Japanese culture sucks. if you don't
know what machine learning is machine learning is the system where a lot of
social media platforms or Netflix or Spotify users to read your pattern what
kind of things you potentially like and give it to you if you look at your
suggestion feed on Facebook Netflix and Spotify you might see something that you
like that's that's using machine learning it's a good thing machine
learning is a good thing because the computer is trying to figure out what
you like so if you like hip-hop and if you go on Spotify it will just give you
a lot of hip-hop if you like action movies and if you go on Netflix they
will keep giving you action movies so it's a good thing you don't have to go
out of your way to find something that you like and this is how I started
this conversation with max we were watching a lot of YouTube videos and we
were just given something that I liked over and over again. from me Casey nice
tat so how does that connect to Japanese in American culture?
Japanese culture Japanese society is like a society that went through a machine learning
algorithm over the past thousands of years. everyone has a very similar view to
many of the things and everyone behaves in the same way taking out someone's
newsfeed Facebook feed YouTube channel and they follow the same thing over and
over again there so what they're what they see is the same as well Japanese
people are looking at society living their lives through this collectivistic
lens. growing up I did have a chance to move away from that. my mom being
American gave me a chance to be to experience the individualistic side of
human beings however it's very very hard for people who are living in Japan to be
non collectivistic if you tried to be a little bit opinionated they will shut
you down if you try to be a bit egocentric that was shutting you down
everything is tailored to sustain the society. you have to a be collective at all
times. but as many know the world is not one-sided it's always two sides to a
coin. so you can't just live through a single culture: a
collectivistic society. that is why it was super impactful super fresh for me
when I moved to America I saw a different world. I learned that it was
okay to be ego centric it was okay to be individualistic time to time. I hope
through this video that more and more people more and more Japanese people
will look at things from a different perspective not only from their
day-to-day Japanese collectivistic way. that is why I loved when I moved to
America because I saw something differently not because America was
superior compared to Japan that's why I'm making this video I want Japanese
people to have their own study abroad for a year or two and see something
different. not only will you learn something different from that experience
but you will appreciate Japanese culture more because you have to understand that
to appreciate something to fully understand something to grasp something
you have to see both sides of a coin it's not a coin but you get the idea
there's two sides to everything you can't just see a Japanese culture and you
think that it's great you have to see the other side something different to
appreciate to understand it so employing Japanese people go out there
move out of your comfort zone and see a different world see a different culture
thank you
thanks for watching if you guys like this video push the like button and do
not forget to subscribe thank you see you guys tomorrow

Megyn Kelly is replaced by Jenna Bush Hager on Today - Duration: 7:58.
Megyn Kelly was replaced by Jenna Bush Hager on Monday when Today aired a new episode of the third hour for the first time since the embattled host was ousted from the NBC morning show
She did not appear however until the second half of the third hour, as the show kept the focus on the news out of Pittsburgh for much of the episode, where Savannah Guthrie was reporting for the network
There was a brief mention of the recent events at the top of the program, when Hoda Kotb, Craig melvin and Al Roker kicked off the hour, but no mention of Kelly's name
'Today, as you know, we are starting a new chapter in the third hour of our show,' said Kotb
'And as it evolves we want you to know the entire Today family will continue to bring you informative and important stories just as we always have
' Scroll down for video Kotb only appeared at the top of the hour in light of the show's breaking news coverage following the mass shooting at a synagogue over the weekend
As a result, the reveal of who was replacing Kelly was delayed for some time, with Kotb finally announcing halfway through the hour that Hager would be taking over the show after the commercial break
Hager was then seen alone in Kelly's studio, which was shot to look incredibly small and intimate despite the $10 million that was spent to build the venue
There was also no live studio audience. Hager did her first segment alone before being joined on a couch by Melvin and Roker for an interview
It was a very low key and dialed back affair, but one that seemed to make use of Kelly's crew

Share this article Share It was announced on Friday that Kelly would not be returning to the third hour of Today
'Megyn Kelly Today is not returning. Next week, the 9 a.m. hour will be hosted by other TODAY co-anchors,' said a spokesperson
Kelly's lawyer was quick to issue a statement in the wake of that announcement, saying: 'Megyn remains an employee of NBC News and discussions about next steps are continuing
'She is currently still being paid. Last, Kelly defended the practice of blackface during a roundtable discussion with an all-white panel where not one participant referenced the deeply racist and hurtful history of the practice in the United States
She tried to clear the air by delivering a tearful apology on Wednesday, but it was too late
Exit talks took place on Friday for a little over an hour between the attorneys for both sides DailyMail
com has learned, but there is no word on who was involved at the time. DailyMail.com reported on Friday that a number of Megyn Kelly's black colleagues were shocked that the host was fighting to receive a full payout of her contract after her comments defending blackface
DailyMail.com spoke to a number of employees whose feelings on the subject ran the gamut from 'deeply hurt' to outright 'appalled' at Kelly's behavior and reports that she might claim her coverage of the #MeToo movement played a role in her termination
'How dare she? Who the hell does she think she is?' said one NBC employee'Her blackface comments were bad but falsely playing the #MeToo card is the worst form of white privilege I have ever seen
'And another employee remarked: 'She had no respect for the African American staff on her team and her apology was both fake and dismissive
'An insider at the network told DailyMail.com that after a meeting with Kelly and her staff on Wednesday, a number of employees of color on the show voiced their frustration and anger with the host to human resources
'Lots of people were willing to give her a clean slate after the whole white Santa thing, but she showed her true colors this week,' said the insider
That insider also noted that what Kelly was doing was not only an affront to her black colleagues, but also the men and women of the #MeToo movement
Before the blackface scandal, there were reports that her agent had a friendly conversation wtih Rupert Murdoch's son Lachlan hinting at a possible return to Fox News
DailyMail.com also reported that shortly after her blackface remarks but before she was pulled from the air, her agent (since fired) was calling other networks looking for a potential new home
But an informed and high-level source at her former network told DailyMail.com on Friday that Kelly 'is not coming back to any of the Fox News platforms
'That comment came days after a Fox News spokesperson said, 'We are extremely happy with our entire line-up

Book Review || The Air You Breathe by Frances de Pontes Peebles - Duration: 8:59.
Hey y'all! My name is Priscilla and welcome back to my channel.
I feel super rusty trying to film this book review right now because it's been a very long
time since I've done one of these things.
But I couldn't see myself filming my
wrap-up without properly talking about my favorite read from the Latinxathon.
And that book was The Air You Breathe by Frances de Pontes Peebles.
As you can tell from the thumbnail probably, I gave this five stars.
I absolutely loved it and I just want to gush about it and bring more attention to it because it's
an amazing book and I think everyone would love it if they gave it a try.
So the author, Frances de Pontes Peebles, is a Brazilian author and this is own
voices, latinx, queer, historical fiction. And it's amazing and it has wonderful
characters and a wonderful story.
This tale has so much to offer.
It takes place over decades, over continents from Brazil to the United States and it displays the
many variations of a very complex, intense, female relationship.
So there's deceit, there's passion, there's jealousy just oozing from every
page and every scene in this story - from boozy clubs in Rio de Janeiro to the
Hollywood stage in the 1940s.
So Brazilian Samba is really the center of this story along with the female relationship
and the main cast of characters is filled with sambistas.
So we have the main cast - the main character pairing which is Dores which is one of these
women here *points* and her best friend and soul mate Graça.
And although they are the main, central focus of this story,
I felt that the band and their musician friends all had very important roles and they all
add a little complexity to the story but also they all have their own very unique personalities.
And this is an aspect of the story that I really love because
I think one of the things that really bothers me when there is a cast of characters
or a tight-knit group of friends is that one of them is obviously gonna take center stage
in the story but here I feel like everyone had a very important role and an important part.
So another thing that I really like about this story is the
queerness that is included throughout, not only with our main character, Dores
who is a bisexual woman - she has relationships with men and women
throughout her life, there's also other characters such as Madame Lucifer
who is described and introduced as the queen bee.
He's kind of the central point of all the crime and gang activity
and the power really in Lapa which is a small town in Brazil where the
girls first gained recognition and success as sambistas.
We also have another character named Anaiis who is a French hat maker and
she's also the vocal coach to the girls and also she is on and off lover to Dores
throughout her life.
So while these queer... queer characters are not necessarily a
focal point of the main story, which is Dores and Graça's story
they do play an important part. So whether they're brash or messy or beautiful these all are
represented very well within their queer identities.
So as I mentioned before, the story is told mostly from Dore's perspective. It's told from her
perspective as an aged old woman living in Miami
and she... it's no surprise and it's no shock or spoiler that she is the last
remaining surviving member of their band.
She is looking back on her life and all the regrets really that she had throughout her life and her story...
my god her story and her life and how everything unfolds and how she tells of
everything that happened is so intoxicating.
And we know from the very first page that the life of Graça or as Sofia Salvador
(the name that she dubs herself) her stage name isn't always glamorous
and it has many ups and downs.
Many more downs it seems than ups. So Dores says...
*Reads quote above*
Graça's story in this is so cinematic and lush with... paired with this
writing, I felt like I had seen a documentary full-fledged series of her life.
As if she were the real Carmen Miranda almost.
Graça is a person that is incapable, almost, of the common love that you
would experience between people.
Her love is for the stage.
Her love is for her career and her audience and that is
where her strength... her strength lies.
And outside of that, she has many weaknesses
and it causes so much tension with the other people in her life because of her
love and incap... incapability to love others and reciprocate the love that...
and support and compassion that others give her.
And I did mention earlier that I think that she and Dores are soul mates
and I didn't use that word sparingly. I really do think that they are soul mates.
And I don't think that you have to have a romantic relationship to be a soul mate with someone else.
They, from a very young age, from children, are drawn to each other
and, although they fight and have this very tense relationship, they have this
very turbulent, tumultuous lifelong struggle of jealousy and deceit, they
also deeply care about each other.
So I also want to talk a little bit about the inspiration of Dores.
Dores was inspired by Chavela Vargas who is a
Mexican ranchera singer. She came out as a lesbian in the 1980s.
She allegedly had an affair with Frida Kahlo while Frida Kahlo was married to Diego Rivera.
And it was pain and rejection from her family and from people in her life that
really fueled her music and her creativity.
And I definitely feel that we see that from Dores.
Dores, in this story, is a composer and a lyricist and she
writes a lot of hits that Graça uses to perform and be a successful sambista
and to really become an icon.
This is a love letter almost to brazilian samba
and it explores the historical significance of the samba and the
beginnings and it also takes us all the way to the successes and kind of how it
fizzles out in the 40s and 50s when it starts losing its popularity.
All of the chapters and sections in this novel began with a unique Samba that the
author has written herself. And I really loved how each of these Sambas is really
encapsulated the tone and the mood that we were... and the summary, almost, of the
section of life we were just about to dive into.
So this is a gorgeous saga about friendship and loss and about love and
the passion of music that really ties all these things together.
It's also the portrayal of brilliant, fierce women
that just didn't accept anything other than success and they knew that they
were going to be stars from their lowly beginnings on sugar plantations to the
United States largest stage and in the news and in the media and in a world
that is dominated by men and machismo.
So we see the girls really take on the
world and make spaces for themselves in spaces that were not welcoming to them.
So if you can't tell I loved every bit of this novel there really isn't a lot
negative that I have to say about it.
I will say that from time to time the writing... it can feel a little cheesy.
Dores makes some very grand proclamations about life and the nature of the human experience
and music and how that speaks for the human experience.
So if the that is not your sort of thing,
if you're just not kind of feeling the text or the story, it may not be for you.
But I really wasn't bothered by it. I really loved her writing and her voice.
So those were things that really didn't even faze me.
So this book really feels like a heartache of regret but in such a beautiful way
like a very almost cathartic kind of way.
So I really highly recommend this if you can't tell. *laughs*
I really love historical fiction with dominating ladies and if that's
your sort of thing - if you like music in your book[s] and with really dense lush
writing I really really recommend this! You won't be disappointed!
That's all that I have for this review.
So thank you so much for watching and I hope to catch
you in the next video. Bye!

Nancy Pelosi To Democrats: 'Go Low, Go High, Whatever; We Just Have To Win' - Duration: 3:33.
House Minority Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi has a simple message for Democratic candidates
ahead of the midterm elections: do whatever it takes to win.
During an interview Saturday with Netflix's "Queer Eye" actor Jonathan Van Ness, the
California Democrat said it was imperative that Republicans are defeated on Nov. 6.
Van Ness asked Pelosi if former First Lady Michelle Obama's "when they go low, we
go high" philosophy is still applicable when GOP "ads lie or they [Republicans]
try to steal an election."
"We have to win," Pelosi replied.
"Go low, go high, whatever.
We just have to win."
With the midterm elections taking place next Tuesday, Pelosi has made an abundance of scathing
statements about her true intentions if Democrats take back Congress.
Last week, Pelosi said no Democrats will vote "yes" to support President Donald Trump's
proposed wall along the border of Mexico and the United States.
Pelosi stated that Democrats have no plans to fund the border wall, and also hinted at
the concept of an America with no immigration enforcement, which suggests a borderless country.
"I don't see any of us voting for wall funding," Pelosi said.
Prior to that, Pelosi said her preferred economic policies would entail "collateral damage"
on certain groups.
While Pelosi was careful not to say which groups would suffer from her liberal policies,
she argued quite emphatically that left-leaning policies would entail "collateral damage
for some others who do not share our view."
Earlier this month, she also revealed Democrats' top three priorities if they retake control
of the U.S. House of Representatives in November's midterm elections.
Pelosi said her party wants to pass a gun background check bill and legislation to protect
the hundreds of thousands of illegal immigrants who came to the U.S. under the Obama-era Deferred
Action for Childhood Arrivals plan.
She also wants to use subpoena power release the president's tax returns to the public.
Pelosi has big plans if her party retakes the House, and that was made obvious in August
when a leaked document showed that Democrats had over 100 investigations ready for President
Donald Trump.
A spreadsheet among House GOP leaders at the time detailed the more than 100 potential
investigations Pelosi and Democrats will launch into Trump.
Democrats intend to impeach Trump, or, at the very least, harm his presidency as much
as possible.
Pelosi, who will likely become Speaker if Democrats retake the House, will undoubtedly
launch a crusade into Trump and try to greatly harm his presidency.
Democrats already compiling a list of the investigations they plan to launch indicates
that in less than 10 days, this could be a reality.
Many have known how important the midterm elections will be — but this puts it into
perspective.
Recent polls indicate that the GOP is in good shape to pick up at least two seats in the
Senate, and control for the House could come down to just a few races.

Former Gunner reflects on the late penalty in Arsenal's draw at Palace - Duration: 3:30.
Kevin Campbell believes Crystal Palace were rightly awarded two penalties against his old side yesterday (Sunday) as Arsenal drew 2-2 at Selhurst Park
Despite coming from behind to lead at Selhurst Park thanks to goals from Granit Xhaka and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Palace fought back to salvage a point late on, with Luka Milivojevic netting his second goal from the penalty spot seven minutes from time to bring Arsenal's 11-game winning streak to an end
And Campbell says that, in his opinion, there could be no complaints about the late penalty incident, or the outcome on the day
"It was a fair result, I think Arsenal looked a bit leggy in the end," the former Gunners striker told Love Sport Radio
"Crystal Palace is always a tough place to go so I think a 2-2 draw was fair, although there are still question marks over that penalty
"There's no worries about the first one, but I think the [Wilfried] Zaha one was a penalty myself
"But I've spoken to so many Gooners and so many are saying it's not a penalty. "For me, there was contact, [Granit] Xhaka stuck his leg out and there was contact, so it's a penalty
"Zaha is one of those tricky guys and especially Xhaka not being a defender, you don't give Zaha that opportunity to even make contact
"He's very deceptive in that way and for me, it was a penalty." Meanwhile, the former Arsenal and Everton striker felt that his old side paid the price for not having a recognised left-back in the side, while also adding that he reckoned the midweek trip to Portugal was also a factor
"I think [the fixture congestion] caught up with them, especially after the midweek game in Portugal, but if you're a top team that's the sort of thing you have to deal with," he said
"The thing that I'm worried about is Arsenal football club not having a left back - a couple get injured and suddenly there's no one with a left foot who's a defender who can step in
"Zaha is the kind of player who can change a game, and he changed it for Palace, they got a point: fair result
"I think Xhaka's goal was amazing, but he's not a defender for the penalty, so we can't really hold his feet to the coals for that one

Senator Patrick O'Connor: Serving Those Who Serve Us - Duration: 1:25.
The very first speech that I delivered in the Massachusetts State Senate was to
end veteran homelessness and since that time we've opened up a veteran's home in
Weymouth with six beds and secured $100,000 for a veteran's home to be
built in Marshfield. Senator O'Connor has been a fantastic advocate for veterans.
He continues to work hard up on Beacon Hill increasing resources and benefits
for all our veterans. The men and women who put on our nation's uniform know
they have an ally in Pat O'Connor. My name's Jeanette rose I'm a Gold Star wife.
I'm supporting Senator Patrick O'Connor because he supports not only veterans
but their families also. My name is Frank Burke I'm the chairman of the Weymouth
Veterans Council well Patrick's always been very supportive of veterans in
Weymouth he's always at our functions very supportive on the council when the
veterans have needed anything. The brave men and women who put on the uniform of
this country deserve nothing but the best from their government and I'm
honored and privileged to be able to represent them. And now we stand here
because of the work of this body on the verge of never uttering the words again
homeless veteran. I ask for your support of this amendment. Thank You Mr. President.

Trek UM5+ - Duration: 0:31.
The feeling I get when I ride my bike is energizing.
It recharges my battery after a full day at work.
The UM5+ takes me everywhere I want, whenever I want, whether on smooth pavement or adventurous paths.
It's the freedom I get from UM5+ that lets me experience the beauty of it all.
