alternatives, you know? So, I was at my

doctors about three years ago and she

recommended that I start to use Tom's

deodorant because most deodorants have

aluminum in them and so when you put

that stuff into your armpit, you really

are not just putting it on your armpit.

But you're- you're like sending stuff

onto your breast; sending stuff into your

body. You honestly want to put stuff in

your body that's gonna help your body. So,

most deodorants contain aluminum and Tom's

does not contain any aluminum. Aluminum

has been linked to cancer and other

diseases. I mean just hearing the word

disease- Just knowing that you can

have a disease or get a disease or one

of the reasons that you might encounter

one is because of little things that you

do every day- that are actually harmful-

but that you just weren't aware of. It's like-

it's enough to give you hesitation,

right? Like it- for me, definitely! Tom's is

a great deodorant. I have one right here.

Actually, I have two!

This is a great deodorant. I want to say

that because it really is a good choice

for someone who's looking for an actual

deodorant stick. Not to like do something

like "Oh, I'm gonna put baby powder on."

Which is something that my friend in

high school did. Like she didn't use

deodorant. She used baby powder and like...

that's messy. Like I need something that's

easy, you know? Tom's- I've been using it for two

years. I've used the natural scent. I've used the

lavender scent and I've used the lemongrass.

I'm someone who needs that deodorant

"Oh look! I'm so fresh! Oh fresh!" Like the

commercial fresh. I need that feeling. I

need that moment when I whiff as Iput on

my deodorant, you know? I know very

dramatic. I know. The natural scent- I'm

gonna be honest - was not the greatest-

mm-hmm- Just wasn't- it was mmm maybe a little

too natural. The lavender scent- and I

love lavender. I love purples (my color of choice).

The lavender was... It felt fake for

something that's natural. You know I mean?

Like are you this or this? So, I've settled

on the lemongrass. And let me tell you.

Lemongrass actually gives me that "Oh

nice! Oh!" and so that really makes me happy

to have found something that is as-

that smells as good as, you know, the

other commercial deodorants. Let's be

honest. I'm gonna be straight up honest.

Those deodorants smell fabulous and I'd

be using them if the aluminum wasn't

in them. Loving Tom's but I'm gonna

keep it 100. I'm gonna tell you the truth.

Right here. Look right here. Can you

read what it says? Can you read what it

says right there in blue? It says

"long-lasting" That's a lie. 100%

a lie. I was actually on a shoot

maybe a month ago so and we're working

and then like maybe three-quarters of

the way into it I said, "Okay, well, we have

to take a moment now because I have to

put on my deodorant. A girl was like, "Oh

my gosh!" and not "Oh my gosh, you're a

freak because you're putting deodorant on

in front of everybody!" No. But,

"Oh my gosh! I use Tom's too. I love it." She

said, "But, I have to keep one in my bag also!"

So, she also had to keep at Tom's deodorant in

her bag. So, Tom's is well worth it. We

both thought it was well worth it as a

deodorant... If you don't mind having to

reapply- which, I mean, is a big "if you

don't mind." But, if you don't mind having

to reapply deodorant a few times, I

really, really, really think that it's a

good alternative. So, I just wanted to

share that. Just in case people are

looking for a deodorant alternative...

alternative deodorant, I would say. I

think that Tom's is great. I mean,

I know that some people say put coconut oil

there and I've done stuff like that. I

have tried other stuff but like you

want to make it easy for yourself. So,

this Tom's is- I would say it's a good

product. It's a good product. So, use it! Maybe

I shouldn't have thrown it like that.

That doesn't say much for what I'm

trying to convey. But, anyways, so I'm

gonna go now and, actually, I'm going to

go and listen to some 90's Backstreet

Boys and 'N Sync before Justin Timberlake

decided to break up the group. Do you

remember Brandy's "Sitting up in my room.

Bass and two rhythm guitars where recorded on April 1, 2017

I'm using my new (to me) Warwick Corvette German made 5 string.

The crunch guitars are using Jackson Kelly (left) and Fender Stratocaster (right).

The melody (lead) guitar is the Jackson Soloist XT, a neck through body designed guitar.

All instruments went through an ART Pro MPA-II.

The ART is a 2-channel tube pre-amplifier. The 12AX7 tubes were replaced with NOS RCA tubes made in the '60s.

I'm using CLA-3A compressors on the rhythm guitars, then S-Gear amp emulators and L1 Limiters.

The bass is hitting a CLA-2A compressor, then into Plugin Alliance's 'Bassman' emulator and L1 limiter.

After initial compressors, each channel is going into a Slate Digital VCC Neve channel bus and FG-S and FG-N EQs.

The "N" is a Neve EQ while the "S" is an SSL EQ. The last in the chain is the Slate FG-401 VCA compressor.

The master mix bus starts with a VMR that has first a VCC, then a trimmer to bring the bus down -6dB (more headroom).

Next in the chain is the VBC-Red with a quick attack and about 2dB gain reduction, 2:1 compression.

Next in the chain is an L3 Multimaximizer limiter. When printing for release, I'll crank it with top limit at 0.7dBFS.

Last but now least, is the Waves PAZ meter. It gives a great graphic view of spectrum.

The lead (melody) guitar was recorded on April 9, 2017.

The drums are using Steven Slate Drums. The MIDI patterns were chosen from the Slate collection.

Each drum, kick, snare, toms, overheads are all on separate channels in the DAW.

Each channel has a Slate VMR with a VCC, FG-S, Custom Series EQ and FG-116 FET compressor.

All guitars go to a guitar buss. All drums to a drum bus. Bass goes direct to Stereo.

Guitar echo is using the stereo delay built-in Cubase. Reverb is using the Slate Verbsuite Classics.

Today we're going to talk about different kinds of natural thyroid remedies.

Now many people are put on thyroid medications nowadays by their private doctor once they

complain of fatigue and when their laboratory tests come back supporting such conclusions.

Now a lot of times, you can see I'm hesitating a little bit because thyroid medication can

be a two-edged sword.

If you truly have a thyroid problem then surely thyroid medication is indicated.

However, many people are put on thyroid medication simply because they complain of fatigue and

the doctor don't know what to do with them.

Now in such cases you can actually try some kind of thyroid support that is natural to

see whether it can help you prior to embarking on a medication program, if that is what you

want to do.

Some natural thyroid remedies include kelp, which contains iodine.

And iodine is the building block of thyroid hormone.

You can also take thyroid glandular products which are natural compounds derived from animals

thyroid gland that is processed and designed to deliver similar thyroid cells as the human

and therefore contains thyroid hormones.

One of most frequently overlooked area is to support the adrenal glands.

We know that the adrenal glands and the thyroid glands are both hormonally interconnected.

A strong adrenal will support a strong thyroid function.

So if you have a weak thyroid it is worthwhile to consider to support the adrenal glands.

Now the ways to support the adrenal glands are varied but you want to avoid using stimulants

And they're supposed to be self-regulating.

But the reality we find, clinically speaking, is that this is not necessarily true, especially

for cases in advanced adrenal fatigue.

So if you want to support thyroid function without the use of any medication, first you

should talk to your doctor and seek permission.

If your doctor's okay with it then you can try some of the remedies that we mentioned

earlier.

But my best suggestion is to always start with supporting the adrenal glands.

And you'll be surprised oftentimes how well this can give a gentle, nurturing support

to the thyroid.

And that's where I would encourage you to start looking if you are

on this track.
