Youtube daily report Apr 22 2017

Welcome back.

As I said in my previous video, today I'm going to show you how to sharpen our chisels

and plane blades.

This operation comprises two steps: smoothing down the tools on a grinding wheel and then

sharpening them with stone or sandpaper.

But before we begin, we must take the state of our chisels into account.

If they're not jagged or uneven, we can skip the first step entirely.

Here you can see how some of my chisels are jagged and need to be ground on an emery wheel,

whereas some others, such as this one, don't.

I'm going to mount the sharpening wheel and set the speed to 1500 rpm.

I'll also change to P220-grit sandpaper, which will be more than enough.

Now I look for the appropriate angle.

The contact point between the wheel and the chisel should be slightly above the center of the wheel.

Ideally we should record in some way the toolrest's angle for future sharpening jobs and so that

all of our chisels and plane blades have the same tilt angle.

By doing this, besides making sharpening easier in future, our tools will last longer because

we won't wear down the metal so much trying to find the exact angle every time.

This angle is usually at around 30 degrees.

This operation requires some practice.

In my case, I mark the distance to the wheel with my right index finger, and with my left

thumb I move the chisel back and forth.

We could also make a jig to put on the toolrest to make the job easier,

although a little practice should make it unnecessary.

With this homemade sharpening wheel, the operation could take a little longer than if we were

to use the standard wheels grinders are equipped with.

However the advantage of using this wheel with sandpaper is that the metal barely heats

up and needn't be cooled down with water to avoid ruining the metal's temper, which is

a concern when using emery wheels.

The steps we need to take to sharpen our plane blades are exactly the same.

Every so often, we should make sure the edge is properly aligned; and when the wheel touches

all the cutting edge of the chisel, as we can see here, it's time for the next step.

To sharpen our chisels, we will use a flat stone slab,

although a thick glass sheet could do as well.

We could use an oil stone such as this one, with two different types of grit,

but these kinds of stones tend to deform over time, making it difficult to obtain good results

when sharpening.

Besides, water is better suited for lubricating and washing off metal shavings,

whereas oil has the opposite effect.

There's also this type, made of metal with a diamond surface.

This can be lubricated with water and works quite well.

However, they are rather expensive and we would need three or four different grits.

That's why, after many years, I decided to stick with waterproof sandpaper.

I normally use four grits: P320, P800, P1500, and finally P2000.

Some models are self-adhesive, but failing that we can use double-sided tape or spray adhesive.

First I sand the backside of my chisels with the P320, using plenty of water for lubrication.

Now I place the chisel in the sharpening jig I built a few days ago.

It's important that the chisel be parallel to the surface of the sandpaper at the appropriate angle.

I make a few passes with the P320 grit and check whether the sharpening jig is set up

correctly, which seems to be the case.

The sandpaper is touching the entire edge, and logically, there is a point with no contact

in the middle due to the curvature of the sharpening wheel.

Having made sure everything is working properly, the process can continue.

About 30 passes with each grit should be enough.

And at the end, a few passes with the finest grit on the backside of the chisel.

Once the jig has been adjusted, the process is quite fast.

You can sharpen one chisel per minute.

Here you can see a properly sharpened chisel.

The process is the same for plane blades and narrower chisels.

All that's left is to run a few tests.

Nothing like starting a project with chisels honed to perfection!

How I Line my Soap Molds - For Cold Processed Soaps - Duration: 7:58.

Hello everybody and welcome to La Fille

de la Mer, Handmade Soap Shop in the

Magdalen Islands. My name is Ariane Arsenault

and today I'm going to show you

how I line my wooden soap molds. The

first thing I recommend is that when you

choose a slab mold, whether it's wood or

HDPE plastic or whatever the material is,

just make sure that it is cold process

soap safe. I always like to buy or

or you can make it yourself

a soap mode that is 14 inches wide.

The reason for this is, I'm

going to show you, the freezer paper that

I use is 24 inches wide which is perfect

to line 14 inch wide soap molds. This

is what I get, you buy a stand and then

this is the 24 inches wide freezer paper!

Tt's very practical to have the stand as

you can just roll the paper out, trim

and cut it right on the stand. It's heavy!

Buying such a big roll of freezer paper

can be quite expensive but they will

last you practically forever! Well not

forever but my first roll lasted for a

couple years and I've been on my second

year with this one: if you're a small

scale hobbyist soapmaker you will have

some freezer paper to line your soap

molds for a long time so it's a

good return on investment! Whatever the

length of your soap mold as long as it's

14 inches wide: those are inside

measurements, I measure my freezer paper

10 inch longer than the length so if

your mold is 16 inches long, then you're

going to cut at 26 inches.

I'm gonna have to fold this paper to fit

it into my wooden mold and I am going to

trace with a marker just a little dot, or

pen whatever, at FIVE INCHES from the

side and I always like to do a couple

ahead of time so I don't need to do this

process every time I make a batch of soap.

I'm just going to fold on the dot

and I need to be aligned if I want

everything to be straight. All right

again take the ruler, take your marker

and just trace another small dot at five

inches from the other side and I fold

again. Now I will repeat the process with

all of my sheets and then I will show

you how I line my mold. You should be

folding the glossy side up because this

is the side that will be in contact with

the cold processed soap. My mold opens

like this, there are different types of

mold, so I just swing open the door

I place one of the folded papers that has

been folded on two sides with

the paper right in the corner and I will

show you better... Okay like this and then

I make it fit and I fold again. Then

I do the same thing for the excess. Fold

it back in along the edge of the paper!

It's like doing origami I just lift up

each corner and I place the other

corner inside of the other one just like

this and I pinch to form a triangle and

you kind of have to pinch it very neatly

so that it doesn't make a bump into

your soap. I do the same for every

corner: put both corners together or both

folded lines and then pinch to form a

triangle. And I fold very neatly! Now the fourth

corner.

Okay now once this is done, with some

scissors I just cut the part that is

above the soap mold like this and I

fold the paper along the edges of the

mold and voila! The mold is ready

to make soap in!

Now removing the freezer paper, you will

be able to see that the edges of the soap

are all nice and neat!

thank you so much for watching this video!

I really hope it helped you figure

how to line a slab mold and if it did,

please leave me a comment below this

video. You can also give me a thumbs up,

subscribe to my channel and also you can

follow me on Social Media: all the links

are below. Thank you very much, I will see

you again very soon bye bye

Audiobook Tag 2.0 - Duration: 9:32.

Hey guys! It's Trina and I am doing

another tag video today. Today I will be

doing the Audiobook Tag version 2.0.

This tag was created by Today In Jen's

Library and SolMeansSun. I was

actually tagged to do this one by one of

the creators, Jen, and I also got a

comment on one of my audiobook videos

from somebody asking me to please do

this tag. So, I thought it was very

fitting for me and I'm going to be doing it.

So the first question is: name a book that was better on audio.

For me that is The Inheritance Cycle series by

Christopher Paolini. I read the first

book, Eragon, I read this one in the print

format and I didn't like it at all but I

wanted to continue the series and see

what it was all about so I ended up just

switching formats to the audiobooks of

the last three books in this series and

I enjoyed the story so much more. So I

definitely feel like this story was one that

was better in the audio version for me personally.

Question 2 is: Name a book that was worse on audio than in print format and you switched.

So, I don't think I've ever had an instance of me

switching from the audiobook to the

print book, but an audiobook that I

thought was better in print format even

though I did not switch was A Darker

Shade of Magic by V.E. Schwab. I originally

read the print format of this and I

really really enjoyed it, and I recently

listened to the audiobook of it as a

reread because so that I could kind of refresh

my memory of what actually happened in

this book because I'm hoping to continue

the series soon. I really did not like

the narration of this book. The

narrator's voice acting was not good. It

was especially really horrible with the

character of Lila. He just made her sound

childish, everything she said sounded

like it was a question, he had no emotion

in her character. Other people have loved

it but for me it just didn't work. I

definitely prefer the print version over the audiobook.

The third question is: Who is your top female narrator and your top male narrator?

I'm not yet at the point in my audiobook journey where

there is like one narrator who I just

listen to any book that he or she

narrates because I love their voice so

much, so I haven't actually ever sought

out an audiobook just because of who the

narrator was. And I usually am not even

aware that if I'm listening to someone

that I've heard narrate a book in

the past, I'm usually not even aware

it's the same person. But I do have a

couple of narrators that have done my

favorite performances and I talked about

them in my favorite audiobooks video. It

was Will Patton, who does the Raven Cycle

series by Maggie Stiefvater. I thought

that his voice and his tone really fit

that series. And then as for the female

narrator that I have loved the most, that

is definitely January Lavoy, who does

The Diviners series by Libba Bray.

Her voice acting and her narration were

so phenomenal that I definitely would

love to listen to more done by her.

Question 4 is: What's the longest book that you've ever listened to?

I get all of my audio books from the library so I don't

have a way to like go back and

conveniently look up every single book I

listened to's timestamp. Like, I don't know

how many hours and minutes they were but as

far as page count, the longest book I

listened to is A Storm of Swords by

George RR Martin, which is 1,170 pages long.

The next question is: What is the shortest book that you've listened to?

Technically, if we count novellas it

was Pale Kings and Princes, which is from

the Shadowhunters Academy bind up of

novellas. I did listen to all the 10

stories in that bind up individually

because I listened to them before that

one book bind up was even released. It's

like a 40 page long novella so it was

probably like an hour long, if that. But

if we aren't counting novellas in that,

then the shortest actual book that I

have listened to the audiobook for was

Every Heart a Doorway by Seanan McGuire,

which is like 170 something pages long.

It's a very short book. I love that

audiobook by the way. I would definitely recommend it!

Question 6 is: How do you listen to your audiobooks? Do you listen with an ipod, an mp3 player, your phone? And what kind of earbuds do you like?

So first of all, all of my audiobooks that

I get these days are from the Overdrive

app, which is a free app that you can

download on your phone or whatever smart

device you have and it partners with

your library. My library and my Overdrive

usually have a ton that I want. I just

check it out, it downloads it to my phone,

and I listen using just my phone. I don't

use anything else. I usually listen at

home where I can just put it on full

blast. My husband doesn't care. He's never

paying attention to what I listen to.

Very rarely do I ever listen to audioboos

using earbuds but like if I'm

traveling like on a plane or a car trip

then yeah I would take those little... I don't

know what they're called. They're just

called earbuds. They're white. I literally know

nothing about different types of earbuds, so yeah.

Listen on my phone, using the Overdrive app,

usually without any kind of headphones or earbuds.

The next question is: Should authors narrate their own books?

In my opinion, if the book is a

memoir or an autobiography about the

author's life, I do think it's great for

them to read it themselves. I have really

enjoyed listening to like celebrity

memoirs where they read their own story

because it's a very genuine connection

that you have with that person telling

their own life story in the way that they

meant to tell it. As for fiction books, do

I think that authors should narrate the

audiobooks of their books? No, I don't,

unless the author has experience with

voice acting. You could argue that

the author would know their characters

the best and they would know exactly

how they meant that line to be delivered but I

know how easily bad or inexperienced

narration can sound and can impact my

enjoyment of listening to an audiobook

so I feel like I would just rather leave

it to the professional voice actors to

be the ones narrating an audiobook.

Question 8 is: Is there an audiobook that you wish could be redone, and which narrator would you want to redo it?

So, I've already mentioned this one but I just

kind of want to throw it out there.

I kind of feel like Will Patton would have

done a good job with A Darker Shade of

Magic. But since I've already talked about

that book, my real answer is going to be

A World Without You by Beth Revis.

I don't remember who the narrator of this one

was but I really did not enjoy the audio

of this one. He narrated it in just a

very dull and monotonous, lifeless voice

and I have no idea if that's just how he

narrated or if he was doing that to be

like a personality trait of the main

character, because that narrator does

have like a hundred audiobooks that

he's worked on in the past and

apparently he's good enough to like keep

getting jobs, but I did not like the

narration of that book, and I never

did switch formats because I just was

wondering if it's a problem with the

narration or with the storytelling so I

was afraid to like risk it and just end

up DNFing the book because it's

just easier for me to finish audio books

because they're just quicker, easier for me to get through.

I have no idea what audiobook narrator I

would have liked to do that one instead

though. I just think that I might have

enjoyed that audiobook better if it had been a different narrator.

Question 9 is: What's the best audio book that you have listened to or your favorite?

I have a whole video on that! I've got a video of

my six all-time favorite audiobooks,

which are all things that I listened to

prior to this year, but some of my

favorites from this year have been

Sleeping Giants by Sylvain Neuvel,

Every Heart a Doorway by Seanan McGuire,

Thirteen Reasons Why by Jay Asher, but I would not

recommend that one if you are going

to be triggered by rape or suicide

because it deals those topics in a very

heavy way, but the audiobook quality was amazing.

Number 10: What's the most recent audio book that you've listened to?

So I am currently listening to Waking

Gods by Sylvain Neuvel, which is the

sequel to Sleeping Giants, and I was

listening to The Chemist by Stephenie

Meyer, like literally this morning I was

listening to that audiobook and then my

hold for Waking Gods came in and I was

like, "Nope! See ya later, Stephenie Meyer,

I love this series better," so I just kind

of hopped on to Waking Gods and I'm

already like an hour into the book. Like, I love it a lot.

And then the bonus question in this tag is:

What is a book that is currently not on audio that you wish was?

See, I don't know every single audio book that exists out there

but I know one that my library is not

able to get on Overdrive, at least not

yet, is The Song Rising by Samantha

Shannon. This is the third book in her

Bone Season series and I enjoyed the

first two books in that series but I did

not like the writing. It was tough for me

to get through. It was very very wordy

and then something big would happen in

the end that would like pay off, and now

that the third book is out I'm just like

not really interested in continuing the

series because I don't want to slog

through that. I'm learning that that's

just not a writing style that fits me.

In cases like that, audiobooks do help me

get through a book or something that I

find intimidating that is long when it's

very wordy. If I'm not really liking

the print version of it sometimes the

audio version will help, so I do wish

that there were an audiobook format

available for me from my library because

I think that that would help me get

through it. However, at this point in time

I don't really know how likely I would be

to pick it up even if it were available

because I think I just kind of lost

interest in the premise that that whole

series is about, so I really don't know

but that's just one that I knew of off

the top of my head that my library does

not have available. The only book that I

know for sure, one hundred percent, does

not have an audio version available is

Unblemished from Sara Ella, because I asked

her hey are you going to have an

audiobook? And she said no, that her

publisher just did not have that

available at this time, that they would

want to in the future. I do wish that her

book would get an audio version because

I think that would make it more

accessible. So that's it for all of the

questions in this tag and I'm going to

ask all of you guys to please answer the

first question, what is a book that you

thought was better on audio? If you don't

read audiobooks (or can't compare) that's fine, you can

just comment something else. Thank you so

much for watching and I will see you in the comments. Bye!

VLOG • 야외활동주간 🌸 Hello Spring (Eng Subs) | kinda cool - Duration: 18:27.

Let's go !

Wow, it's literally the green planet!

I fee like I am in a botanical garden.

What I'd love to take to my place is THIS!, 'Daimo Oak'.

I want this one in a smaller size, which is fit to my room.

Hehe, she told me that one is in a nice condition.

I'm going to take that one home with me, hehe.

This plant has a big green leaf like this one, so that's why I chose it.

She also said that it looks healthier than the others.

I really wanted to get this kind of plant! YAY!

I found it in a small size, so I decided to take it!

This one has a new leaf in the middle as you can see,

so I chose it.

This place is called 'My Allee',

There's a cafe/restaurant on the 1st floor,

lifestyle shop on the 2nd floor and cafe/lounge with terrace on the 3rd one!

(to my boyfriend) Can we look around the shop?

Oh, love this yellow acrylic partitian thing.

Green friends, again!

Today is a greenday :-)

This chair is so comfy!

Elastic strings make me feel nice.

We're leaving here to go for a dinner.

I will come to this botanical cafe again.

Here we go !

Steamed pork,

'Gondre namul rice',

AND

mak guksu noodles with pollock.

ahh.. mouth-watering.

Let's eat!

The entire room is going GREEN.

It's almost 3 p.m.,

yet it's like evening already.

Umm, I was thinking of wearing this bomber jacket.

The weather is quite chilly outside.. so.,

I should try the other one.

This leather jacket will be better.

BAG BAG

I am sure it's getting cold at night.

I don't like my hair right now.

It's even raining.

Gem, my friend and director, is working real hard!

This is the first time to be here when the weather is so pleasing, especially in the afternoon.

The last time I came here was the day before Christmas Eve.

At that time, it was freazing.. but now the windows are open.

I met Gemma for filming a video.

GEM : Thank you !

"Here's the dessert for today.

Me & GEM : Thank you so much.

[Outtakes are always funny😂]

Thanks a lot, Gem!

Road Bike Hill Climb Steer Clear Of Hazards | It's All Downhill From Here! - Duration: 9:20.

Hmm I'm going to take a left here and

take us down hill for a little bit and

then we're going to get to the bottom of

the hill and turn right start climbing

again. Well it's a pretty day really

really nice day

I don't know if any of you ever noticed

that I never take a drink of water while

I'm writing I really haven't got to that

point where imma cab solutely

comfortable reaching down pulling out

the water bottle pulling it open with my

teeth taking your drink watch your mom

going and putting it back

actually the thing that frightens me

most about that whole process is pulling

the water bottle hoping with my teeth

you know the top cap

why would that bother me I don't know

maybe have a fear of hitting a buck or

something and end up yanking on the

water bottle harder than I expected to

and end up pulling a tooth out on my

head or something it could happen so

anyway decide for me it gives me a

little break give me a chance to stop

for a second and get out of the saddle

that's my have it I want to how far the

clues how far up is it closed are they

just doing this and gravel on the road

or something holes all right thank you

ok seems like it's passable for bikes so

we're going to do it

yeah so like I said one other time I

came in this direction and i like it i

mean here's your first impression of it

you get a horse farm over here on the

left some pretty homes the road is

nicely paved i thought yeah i can do

this all the time this is a nice option

for me to take for writing and I came up

to a climb in the I think I actually had

to get off the bike and walk it now so

we'll see

so what this way thinking I could avoid

it and then I came for this and I went a

crab so yeah this is a little extra work

but I think I can do it this time well I

can see why I walked it holy crap not

done yet more the climb I think that's

it hope that's it

almost broke sweat I'm a little moist

but it's not quite sweatin be funny if

you guys turned me around huh

well if I have to I'll go off the bike

and walk the construction site walk past

it

in fact given the whole they're digging

that was probably exactly what I'll do

thank you

yeah I can see why they wouldn't I curse

up this way back to climbing but this is

nothing if there's that great i just

came up i got more of a great up here

well it looks like all my workout is

going to be at the end of my right here

today

yeah maybe somewhere my subconscious I

call the way when I come back to that

intersection where I was don't turn

right this is what you're faced with

well I did okay I mean I got up it first

time I came this way I remember I got

off the bike and I walked it I mean holy

crap I said oh man cannot do it

I'm sure stronger writers will just go

flying up and down the hills not this

guy

so we got ourselves a nice little run

going downhill mouth that's our reward

whatever goes up must come down

what a nice feeling love or it's great

that was a nice that was a nice style

reward prime Annette Hill

[다이어트]할 때 즐겨찾는 음식들🍖(먹방주의) My Favorite Diet Food - Duration: 7:25.

Hi everyone~ It's Daisy here!

I woke up late today.. gonna make some breakfast-lunch

I got salad.. and misura fiber toast...

My bf bought this for me weeks ago

Now it's time for cooking~

Oh no~

Tadah~

It's done! toast, egg, chicken sausage and salad!

Sausage got cooked well~

Hi it's Daisy! Today I am back with a new diet routine video!

I was too busy for ms.diet camp videos so it's been almost a month, right?

Today I want to share my favorite diet food! I have these products that is tasty and healthy at the same time

This year, I want to pursue fitness expert program

so I need to be in fit and have to manage my health

Let me show you my diet food collection!

Let me start with liquid type.

The first one is not exactly healthy, but I can't live without this.

It's a sparkling water. it's zero calorie

But!

the reason why I love this is because it's an alternate of soft drinks

Before I changed my lifestyle, I couldn't live without sodas, and now I try to avoid it

sodas are really bad for healthy diet so I try to avoid them but I still crave for that feeling of refreshment

so that's why I get sparkling water.

Sparkling water can be harmful for your stomach if you drink it too much

so make sure to control the frequency and portion of it

I also sip a couple of times and get it back in the fridge.

The second one is..

It's a fruit water(?)

It's pure coconut water!

It's 100% pure coconut water from Brazil!

My friend recommended this so I started to put this in my diet routine.

Since I started workout on a regular basis, I also started to drink this everyday.

This helps to discharge sodium in our body

If you had salty food at night, have this before sleep then it will help your face not to get swollen on the next morning

If it's your first time trying a pure coconut water,

the taste may be a bit off at first

Some people say it's fishy smelly

or some say it doesn't taste anything lol

so I can't recommend this for all of you lol

but it's 100% pure coconut water so it's sugar-free and fat-free

I didn't love it when I first tried it

but this definitely gets easier to you and I am sure you'll love this too!

Next I will show you my alternative meals

I want to show you this ImDAK chicken products.

I instantly fell in love with these because these are the most tasty and easiest diet food I've ever had.

These make my diet so much easier and happier.

There are so many different types of chicken products with different flavors.

I simply pick what I want everyday

At night, I enjoy salads for dinner so I use

this sweet potato cubes

This is all ready-made. Steamed sweet potato is naturally packaged without any processing

It's a small package

but it's super easy to use, I can simply open the package and put it in a bowl.

Secondly, it's fixed portion so I can manage how much I eat in every meal.

so it's easy to control the portion I have for meals.

I brought them out to show you how it looks but it's originally freezed

so I will get these back in the fridge!

The last one to show you is...

a dessert!

yes, I do have desserts

As a matter of fact, I love snacks.. and tokbokki..

I love tokbokki..

I can eat it everyday..

It's Bulgaris Milk 100 yogurt!

You can't think of a normal yogurt..

because it doesn't contain anything.. pure plain...

everytime I have this..

there is zero sweetness in here

It's sour

constipation can occur if you change your diet routine abruptly or go too harsh on your diet

so I try to have this often to prevent it

I feel my body works better with this

"Is it really made of only milk and lactic acid bacteria?"

"Yes. it's sugar-free and additive-free."

Tadah~so far it was my diet food collection hope you enjoyed watching!

All the products I showed you are not hard to buy online / offline.

I mix the products on my everyday diet plan

especially I have coconut water everyday

Thank you for watching! and I will see you on my next video! Bye~

Actors Who Were Drunk During Filming - Duration: 6:03.

Whether it's a wild celebration, a somber mourning or the season finale of The Bachelor,

hitting the bottle is not uncommon.

What's a bit more unusual, though, is getting your drink on at your place of work.

At most jobs, this is a big no-no, but in Hollywood, things are a little different.

"This is equal parts scotch, absinthe, rum, gin, vermouth, triple sec, and 2 packs of

splenda."

Whether it inspired great performances or caused some disastrous behind the scenes drama,

here are some stories of actors who were drunk during filming.

"drink, l'chaim, to life!"

Denise Richards and Neve Campbell

It doesn't matter who you are: if you find yourself kissing a girl for the first time

in your life, naked in a pool, surrounded by a film crew — a cocktail...or five...might

be in order.

That was definitely the case for actresses Neve Campbell and Denise Richards who needed

some liquid courage before filming their famously steamy scene from Wild Things.

This was going to be the first time either of the actresses had kissed a girl before,

so they decided to take the edge off by pounding back an entire pitcher of margaritas before

the camera started rolling.

Looking back on the kiss now, Campbell said it was actually pretty fun and that they were

definitely thankful for the pre-filming drink.

Daniel Radcliffe

By the time Daniel Radcliffe turned 18 and was filming his sixth Harry Potter movie,

he found himself quite lost in the drink.

What started out as a fun lifestyle of partying quickly degenerated into a serious problem

that found Radcliffe blacking out multiple times per week.

The actor did his best to keep some distance between his work and his drinking and he maintains

that he never actually drank on the Harry Potter set.

Radcliffe has admitted, however, that he often would show up in the morning still drunk from

the night before, and would start shooting while clearly still under the influence.

The actor claims he can tell which scenes he was inebriated for, but he's understandably

refused to share that information with the public.

The only solution to this predicament: set aside a weekend and have yourself an eagle-eyed

Harry Potter movie marathon...and maybe a few drinks too.

Robert Shaw

It's no secret that actor Robert Shaw liked to drink.

And as it turns out, this affinity for the bottle affected the actor's famous performance

in 1975's Jaws.

Before filming a particularly tricky monologue, Shaw asked director Steven Spielberg if he

could have a bit to drink to help him loosen up.

Unfortunately, that "bit to drink" resulted in Shaw showing up to the shoot completely

wasted.

The actor was unable to perform the scene and ruined the entire shoot for the day.

The next day, Shaw showed up to set with his tail between his legs and was very apologetic

for the way he acted.

Spielberg forgave him, Shaw knocked the scene out of the park.

"Y'know, the thing about a shark, he's got lifeless eyes, black eyes, like a doll's

eyes."

And the rest is history.

Martin Sheen

Of all the famous film shoots in the history of Hollywood, perhaps none are quite as legendary

as the set of Apocalypse Now.

Leading man Martin Sheen was a late addition to the film, and when he arrived, he found

a set in chaos.

Needless to say, he wasted no timing diving right into the thick of it.

Apparently, director Francis Ford Coppola kept Sheen locked up and completely hammered

for days on end in an effort to get the emotionally driven performance he was looking for.

Coppola even toyed with Sheen's psyche, telling the actor that the rest of the production

team was evil and out to get him.

The performance ended up being pretty amazing, but it sounds like Martin Sheen went through

a drunken hell to get there.

Margot Robbie

Australian-born actress Margot Robbie is one of the most sought after actresses working

today.

Still, her big break might never have happened if it weren't for a helpful crew member who

happened to have some booze on hand.

On the set of The Wolf of Wall Street, Robbie had to bare all, and the actress was very

nervous for the nude moment.

She knew eventually she'd watch that scene with her dear mum.

"I actually tried to cover her eyes when the nude bits happened, but she pushed my hand

away."

Luckily, a member of the production team offered Robbie some tequila to help her calm her nerves.

She quickly threw back three shots and was ready to roll.

The scene turned out great and Robbie credits the booze for helping her nail the R-rated

moment.

Brad Pitt and Edward Norton

Despite how tight the script seemed, there were several improvised moments during the

filming of Fight Club.

"Mother f***er!

You hit me in the ear."

On top of that improvised hit, the scene in which Brad Pitt and Ed Norton drunkenly smack

golf balls from their house was also unplanned — and surprisingly method.

The actors, who had bonded on set, had actually gotten drunk together and started smacking

golf balls at the film's catering trucks.

When Fincher saw them, he thought it fit their rebellious characters, and decided to roll

the cameras.

Pitt remembers the drunken sequence fondly, and this honest moment of bonding not only

helped the actors get closer but actually gave birth to one of the more popular scenes

from the film.

Peter O'Toole and Omar Sharif

The late Peter O'Toole was almost as famous for his drinking as he was for his acting.

By the time the actor's starring role in Lawrence of Arabia came about, he was already

well versed in the art of on-set drinking, and he decided it was time to spread the wealth.

During the famous Aqaba scene, O'Toole's co-star, Omar Sharif, was terrified of falling

off his camel and he considered tying his legs to the animal.

But O'Toole had a different plan in mind.

He suggested that they ought to just get drunk and let the rest work itself out.

Sharif obliged, and the two proceeded to get sloshed on brandy and milk.

O'Toole and Sharif ended up delivering some of the most famous performances in film history.

"Thank you, alcohol."
