Youtube daily report w Apr 22 2017

[Intro music]

Hey guys, it's me

and today... what is this?

Also these colors are not matching at all, I'm sorry,

but I just really wanted to wear green

because of this specific video.

Today I'm gonna be talking about my experience with

medical marijuana.

More like- the appointment that I had, though,

I'm not actually talking about the experiences that I have with that

because I haven't done it yet, but

I'm gonna talk to you little bit about the

reason why I went to a place called Sante Cannabis,

which, I guess, in English is translated to "Cannabis Health"

or "Cannabis Clinic," I guess.

And why I'm talking about it

and why I'm being open about it

and what I'm gonna do

and 'did I even get medical marijuana?'

and why- what is this and why is it legal and what am I doing?

So...

I have anxiety.

[laughs]

Understatement of the year.

Seriously, though, I have so much anxiety that I can't breathe most of the day.

[sigh]

Um...I posted a video

recently- a mental health update

where I'm talking about new medication that I'm on, so

I'm trying to get my anxiety under control using medical interventions

instead of just natural ones

because that wasn't working at all

and my anxiety is so bad that I-

when I tell you I like-

the physical symptoms of anxiety that I have are just so debilitating that I can't leave my house sometimes

and I'm not even joking when I say that.

And I have to leave my house 'cause I have things to do outside my house,

but I've built this life around me

of, like, me working from home.

I'm a TA for an online class.

I, um, do all my YouTube stuff, I do my podcast, I do Transtastic, I do everything.

I do the secret project here, I do all of my business stuff, everything is from home.

The only thing I do outside is go grocery shopping, go for a run sometimes,

and go work at the Running Room eight hours a week.

Um...

So I- I don't leave my house much

and it's bad and I've created this life

because I don't want to leave and it gives me anxiety, but anyways...

who cares about that? If you want more about that, please watch my mental health update.

Today I really want to just explain to you, um...

what- what- what this clinic is.

So- I live in Montreal, Canada,

where, um...

the- weed is not legal here,

um, but there is one clinic

that does do medical marijuana

if you have prescription. So I needed to get a referral from my family doctor,

so I got that. It took months for me to get an appointment,

because I live in Québec and it takes months to get any appointment to anywhere.

And I, um....

I went to the appointment last month and I talked to the doctor

who prescribed- prescribes medical marijuana to people, depending on what it is.

Now, my doctor has said that she had never referred anyone for anxiety, usually it's more like chronic pain and

all that stuff that marijuana would help manage those symptoms, so...

she was a little skeptical about anxiety, but

she- 'there you go'- diagnosed me with anxiety.

Finally!

Get a diagnosis of anxiety after, like, five years.

[sigh]

And I- can you tell I'm anxious? [chuckle]

So, I went to the appointment, and I talked to the doctor, and

he was very nice,

and I told him about all the issues that I have with my anxiety,

and he prescribed 1 gram a day

of dry herb- dry marijuana to, um...

alleviate my anxiety.

So I was a bit surprised. I was like, '1 gram a DAY?'

Jesus! That's a lot.

Like, who smokes that much?

Like, I- I-

I don't smoke weed, I can't.

I used to get crazy, crazytown panic attacks, right,

when I was in high school.

To the point where, like, I literally- I can't- I don't like being in a room with people who smoke weed

because I'm scared I'm gonna get a panic attack from, like, the second-hand um...

high, I guess.

So I don't do that, so I wanted to go to a place that's more controlled,

and where they actually know their strains of weed and they know that-

the amount of THC and the amount of CBD...

CBD? Yeah.

in the weed and what that does. I- I just needed someone that knows what they're doing.

So that's why I went.

Anyways, so I was prescribed that and then I had to talk to somebody called "the educator,"

[laughs] I guess,

um, so that he could tell me what type of weed would be good for me

and for my anxiety, and to try it out, so...

um- one: it's really expensive to be part of this clinic, it's like-

I think it's like $230, or something like that,

and that's really expensive, but

you can- uh, no it's $250, sorry. It's $250.

But you can try it out for 3 months first and just pay the- half of the amount,

and then later you can pay the rest if you want to keep doing it,

so I only paid for half of the amount just to see if I like doing it because

the- the stuff is also expensive because you have pay. None of it is covered

and I'm, like, so desperate that I'm doing anything that I can.

So anyway, so I talked to the educator

and he suggested I try cannabis oil.

Now, I was a bit skeptical because...

the doctor previously had told me that

smoking is a lot-

is easier because if you're having a panic attack at that moment or you're really anxious in a specific moment

and you smoke, it acts right away.

Whereas, if you take the oil, it takes a bit of time to

get into your system and for you to feel it- I believe they said an hour,

but that lasts longer,

so there are benefits and, like, no-benefits to both, whatever.

So he suggested that I go on cannabis oil

and so that's what I did, and I ordered it, so...

this video is just, like, me explaining to you this.

I'm not gonna tell you how I feel on cannabis oil because I haven't tried it yet.

I'm actually waiting for Aaron, he's gonna- he's about to walk through this door in like two minutes,

and when he gets here

I'm gonna try it, because I don't wanna be alone when I do it, um...

'cause I'm nervous and- not that I'm, like, scared that I'm gonna get a panic attack or anything like that but...

anyways.

So when you go to the appointment and they actually give you your prescription,

you get this nice little folder, here- oh, the white balance is just going to mess everything up. Whatever.

So Sante- oh, I guess it's called "Cannabinoid Clinic." That's what it's called.

I guess... in English.

Um... and then they give you all of these things that educate you on the type of

marijuana that you're allowed to get and that you can buy,

so what they do is they set you up with the website, like a "manufacturer" that will provide you with either dry marijuana or the cannabis oil

or the edibles or anything like that.

And then they sign you up and then- it said that- they said that in 10 days they're going to contact you and you can order it online.

It literally took three hours and I was able to order it.

But I was out of town for a couple of days to see some friends

and to do some YouTube stuff, so I didn't order it.

But I ordered it this week and I got it in the mail, so that's why I'm, like, showing you here, um... it's right here.

So I wanna- you have to sign for it because weed is getting delivered to you and that's illegal. [laughs]

So, um... I'm going to show you what it looks like.

So, in the package, you get a card here, and it's like a "Cannabis Client," it's my official card from this specific company here - and this is the company: Metrum -

and then you have a sticker that you need to put on your card and that you need to keep on your medical marijuana

because this proves that it was a prescription for you and it has the doctor's name.

If you don't have this sticker and this card, and the police come and they find it on you, you can get arrested because it's illegal to have this on you.

So it comes in this nice little, cute little box and, when you open it up, it comes with- this is the bottle and then there's a syringe.

And I know you're probably like, 'Chase, are you injecting this oil inside you?' No.

Also, this oil is not- you can't vape it, so I do have a dry herb vape pen that I got

um... a while ago, and you can't use this oil to vape, apparently. That's what it says on it. So-

I have the- Metrum is the company and this type of oil is yellow. This is their brand, though, so it doesn't mean anything to you.

Um... the yellow one, though, just has a very high CBD content, so it has 19.9mg of CBD

and then the THC level is 0.9mg, so- or mL, it says mg/mL, so... that...

is very high CBD and very low THC, which is good 'cause the THC is what makes you- like, that's the stuff that makes you- panic attack.

That's the anxiety stuff.

Um... for me, for me, not for everyone. I'm not exper- I'm not telling you guys how it feels for you, it's just for me.

And then the CBD is the stuff that's actually supposed to calm you down from anxiety.

So I'm glad that I have this to try out. I really wanted to do the smoking, honestly, because I thought that that would help me more,

but, now that I think about it, if, right now, I was holding in my hand weed to smoke- to roll a joint, to smoke, to put in a vape, whatever,

I think that I would have anxiety and I would feel like- I would project a panic attack onto myself.

This is different. Yes, I am terrified and I am scared I am going to get a panic attack because there is THC in here,

but... I feel that, because it's an oil, I don't feel it right away, so I'm not really going to know when it hits,

it's kind of just going to be a progression, and kind of, like, slowly go into it.

So I'm just going to show you what the bottle looks like.

So this is what the bottle looks like, here. It's 40mL.

Um... they say it takes- it's about two to three months that this lasts.

Um... and this was $90 Canadian.

And, for someone who doesn't have much money, that's really expensive, but I'm willing to, at least, give it a try.

Um... so 'what do I do with this?' I have to take a dose, which- I don't remember what the dose was, I think it was 0.1mL maybe? I don't remember what it was-

but then I'm just supposed to put it inside my mouth. That's it.

And eventu- and then, like, after a while, it will, um... like, start working.

This also has the sticker with my name on it and the name of my doctor.

And it says on it - which is funny, 'cause my prescription is for grams, of, like, dried -

so it says, my prescription, 'take 1 grams of dried marijuana daily.'

I mean, this is oil, but I can also buy dry. If I feel like this doesn't work, I can actually go buy-

Um... I believe that I'm actually allowed to buy three of these bottles a month,

um... which is a little bit intense, 'cause I fee like, if I'm doing-

I guess if there- if they think I'm doing 1 gram-

I don't know. I have no idea.

So I'm going to try this out and do the low dose that they say and if it doesn't work- and I'm going to try this daily...

um... and see how that works for me. Honestly, I am very nervous and kind of skeptical that this is going to work because it's oil.

And I know I shouldn't be skeptical, but... I don't know.

What I'm gonna do, though, because I love you guys and I want to be able to document

everything so that I remember how to do it and remember how I felt,

I am going to film the first time that I use this.

'Kay? So that's not going to be up right away, but I will be um... I will be filming it- as the, like, little thing falls.

Ugh, god. I'm so nervous. [laughs]

Um... but I know that some of you are going to comment about, like, smoking weed

for anxiety, and that maybe you've had good experiences with, like, strains like...

um... with very low THC and I have tried that, actually, I'll be honest,

um... a friend of mine had Catatonic, I believe, is the strain that I tried

and I was okay and I smoked it a little bit and then I was like 'oh, no, it's happening.'

And Zuzia had to, like, bring me back to my house and put me to bed

and, like, make sure that I fell asleep because I felt like I was about to have a panic attack,

and it's really scary.

So I wasn't as bad, but because I felt like I was, like, disconnected from what I was doing and something was inhibiting my- my- how I think about things,

it was kind of freaking me out. So! Anyways!

Long story short, this is my experience at the cannabis clinic in Montreal and

the prescription that I now have for medical marijuana.

Um... I am very excited to let you know how this works for me, and if it works for me, because maybe it might be able to help some people who are interested in this.

Um... and, uh...

I did wear green because [stoner voice] '4/20 blaze it.' [laughs]

No, but I did actually wear green because of this, um, because I thought it would be funny.

But it- yeah, so- anyways, yeah- I'll let you go.

Um... wish me luck, and I will post the video soon, of me reacting to the first time on medical marijuana.

I mean it's not- is it- is marijuana the plant?

So I guess this is just the cannabis. I should really stop calling it medical marijuana.

Medical cannabis is what it is. I'm sorry, I know people are going to comment that and they're going to be, like- they didn't watch any of the video-

I keep dropping this thing.

Anyways! So, yes, my first experience with medical cannabis, cannabis oils.

And, um, I'll let you know how it goes.

Alright. I love you guys so much. Have a great week.

Bye!

The story of Anna's smile. Dental treatment Moldova, TravelToDentist - Duration: 4:10.

Well, I came here because I was going to buy gifts for "Epiphany" in September

(Epiphany is celebrated in January)

in a shop where Ettore's daughter works.

I had a terrible pain tooth...

She asks me "What's wrong with you?" I answer, "My teeth hurt.

She says to me:" Go to Moldavia! "I answer" In Moldavia? But what can I do in Moldova? "

She says:" Look, they are professionals, besides there life is cheap, go to Moldova. "

It's been a few days but I still had toothaches!

One day, I asked to send me the phone number

and that's how I met Anna, who gave me all the necessary explications.

In a couple of hours I organized everything and on 19 of October I came here in Moldova, to you.

I was a bit scared because I did not know anything and because I have not talked to anyone

who had such an experience here in Moldova, but I said to myself " for sure they are very good" I had confidence and here I am.

I left Moldova on October 30, and I was already very happy then I returned in January

because I thought I had a problem (I had palpitation gums). I believe that the reason was '' smoke ''.

I managed to found the reason, this needs to stay between us, because if my daughter finds it out,

she will argue with me.

However, I was right to come in January because I put also the healing abutments.

So everything was ok, I came on March 1 and I was very calm. The work was done.

My grandchildren, Edoardo and Tomaso always ask me 'Grandma when will you show us your smile?

They sent me smiling faces on Whats App. I answered them, 'On March 19,

when you come to me in Tampin airport to see a grandmother with a great smile "

So, now you can smile!

Yes now I can smile!

So, would you give an advice to other Italians that want to come here?

You can come without any fears, because you will receive a great welcome.

I'm so excited because you all are great people.

Doctors are also extraordinary, even if they don't speak Italian, but they know ''the essential words ''

and they are really good.

I met two great doctors, I felt good,

come to Moldova, you won't regret, it is worth it!

I cannot express myself better, I have emotions,

because it's really sentimental. I will always keep you in my heart,

but we will see each other next year.

Of course, if you do not come to visit us, we'll do it.

You're all welcome! But I come in March!

Thank you!

I thank you!

INGLÊS PARA VESTIBULAR (ENEM, CONCURSO, ETC)- PART ONE - Duration: 9:05.

This video is going to be very quick

Today we're going to talk about how to read a text in English

When you don't know English

Student, why are you crying, man?

I'm crying because I have ENEM tomorrow

And don't know how to answer the questions in English because I don't know English

So it's very hard to answer questions when you don't know the language

Yes, but I have the solution for you

Today I'm going to tell you the perfect strategy to answer questions from a text in English

even if you don't know English

Man, stop crying! I have the solution for you! :D

Ok, teacher. What's the solution?

So I have three steps for you...

THE FIRST STEP IS: don't read the text...Go straight to the questions.

because just by reading the questions you will get the gist of what the text is about

and therefore it's going to help you

One thing that I need to point out is that the questions on ENEM, for example, are in Portuguese

So the texts are in English but the questions are in Portuguese

So you have to use the questions in order to help you understand the texts

SECOND: go to the text but look for COGNATES

What are cognates?

Cognates are words from different languages but they sound similar

For example:

television, organization, competition

radio, different, connect, important,

intelligent, elegant

material, mission. minute

video, offensive, aggressive, violent

music, persistent

economy, emotion, sensation

positive, negative

and some cognates are even written the same way

For example: chocolate, cinema, crime, colonial

central

material, monumental, ideal

zebra, zero, real

industrial, radio,

diagonal, drama,

cinema, chocolate,

hotel, hospital,

envelope, familiar, funeral

There are many cognates between Postuguese and English

A person who speaks Portuguese knows around 200 words in English because of cognates

but they don't know that they know that

but they don't know that they know so many words

So you should use cognates to help you read a text

The cognates in the text will help you answer the questions

TRY TO FIND KEY WORDS IN THE COGNATES

THE THIRD STEP IS: use the elimination process

So eliminate the alternatives that seem to be impossible for you

so I've separated here an exercise from an exam

There is a text and four alternatives

You need to choose the correct one

so what's the strategy?

FIRST I have to go straight to the questions, ok?

Yes, go to the alternatives

Read the alternatives for me

Just by reading the questions, what is the text about?

It's about palm cultivation and whether it is positive or not.

just by reading the questions we could find out what the text is about

Ok, what's the second step?

the second step is to look for cognates, sexy teacher

Ok, I've highlighted here some cognates...

Let's try to find a key word here in these cognates

the key word I found here was CONTROVERSIAL

The alternatives are whether palm cultivation is negative or positive

and we've found the word CONTROVERSIAL

so it makes us think that this cultivation is not 100% defended by people...

so let's go to the third step...The elimination process

NUMBER 1: "the opinion of specialists is unanimous" but it's CONTROVERSIAL, so...

Do you think we should eliminate it or not?

LET'S ELIMINATE IT!

NUMBER 2: "it's completely positive" but it's CONTROVERSIAL. Should we eliminate it?

No...It's controversial so it can't be completely positive...

So let's eliminate it...It's off the table!

Number 3 says: "Palm cultivation is completely negative"

So...

Let's eliminate it

Ok, we have number four

Number 4: "Some people say it's negative and some people say it's positive"

So...

Do you think it's the correct alternative?

Yes, I think it's the correct alternative, teacher.

Wow, we could answer this question without even reading the text

Of course, before answering the question, read the text for confirmation

Number four is the correct alternative

and we could find the answer for it just by using the three steps

What are the three steps?

The first step is, you have to go to the questions before reading the text

in order to find the context, the gist of the text

the second is to find cognates

and the third is...I can't remember the third one

Do you remember now?

Yes

The third one is to use the elimination process

So we eliminate the alternatives that we think are impossible

Exactly. And then you read the text again for confirmation

But this is just one strategy

So cognates are really important to read a text like that

Yes, but you have to pay attention because there are some ones called FALSE COGNATES

What is a false cognate?

Do you remember what happened when we went to Disney at the hotel?

Oh yes, I remember, teacher

I remember as if it had been yesterday...

I'm in the USA right now. this is my daily vlog...

I'm at a hotel...A very expensive hotel

and look....There's something written on the door here

P-U-S-H...PUSH

I think it's "puxar", right?

Push is not "puxar"?!?!?

So you thought that "push" was "puxar"

because you thought it was a cognate but it was a false cognate

I'll tell you a list of false cognates and you must be careful with them

Admiral (comandante), attend (frequentar), assist (auxiliar),

sensible (sensato), actual (real), actually (realmente)

eventually (finalmente)

dairy (laticínio), costume (fantasia), avocado (abacate)

assume (presumir), carton (caixa),

hazard (perigo)

pretend (fingir), mascara (rímel)

push (empurrar), data (informações)

deception (ilusão, engano)

coroner (legista)

cigar (charuto)

braces (aparelho de dentes)

tenant (inquilino(

I'll teach you now, another strategy when you are answering questions on ENEM, for example

another strategy, sexy teacher!!! Thank you!

Take a look at this text here, it's a different text, but let's start with the questions...

let's go straight to the questions first

There is only one question here

The question here is looking for a specific number

I have to go to the text and look for numbers

Can you find numbers in this text?

Yes...40 and 150

But the question is asking for MONEY...The price to rent apartments

Which number is related to money? 40 or 150?

40 HOURS...Hour is a cognate, right?

I believe it's about time

So the other one is about money

So what's the answer for this question?

150

Exactly. We used "scanning". We looked for specific information in the text

so it was very easy, right?

It was a very good strategy

of course before answering the question, you have to read the text just for confirmation

your tips are fantastic. It's really important to know these strategies but

It's too much information for my little brain

Don't worry about that. You don't have a little brain. You have a big head.

Don't worry because I've prepared a PDF with everything we've seen here and MUCH MORE

with more details and more tips, so

just download the pdf

Check the description of the video in order to know how to get the PDF

so if you're preparing for an important exam with English

please download this PDF because it's a complete guide

on how to read a text in English and answer the questions

I HAVE MEDICAL MARIJUANA?! - Duration: 12:41.

Bye!

Can We Survive Curiosity? - Duration: 3:38.

Hey, my name is Henry Reich, I make stick figure videos about physics, and I'm trying

to break up with Curiosity.

No, not the robot on Mars… it's already in a long distance relationship with someone

else.

I'm talking about Curiosity Curiosity – the one I can't get off my mind.

Sure, there are a lot of good things about Curiosity: Curiosity taught me language; Curiosity

shared my excitement about the detection of gravitational waves; Curiosity urged me to

see how tall of a tower I could build before it fell over and waited patiently for me to

try a million different paper airplane designs; Curiosity took me to watch the Leonid meteor

shower, carried me through school, taught me calculus, showed me how jig saws work and

how to unclog the toilet.

Yeah yeah, but Curiosity has some serious deal-breakers.

For one, Curiosity's got no loyalty – I mean, how many of you also have a relationship

with Curiosity?

What a player.

And I can't shake Curiosity – no matter where I go, what I do, what I think about,

Curiosity keeps butting in, going off on tangents and asking questions about anything and everything.

Curiosity made me read all of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows in one sitting.

And Curiosity tells me things I don't want to hear – like, I'm not going to live forever?

Toddlers are better at learning Chinese than I am?

Genetic modification isn't always bad; sweet, delicious desserts aren't good for me; flying

across the world in AWESOME metal sky-birds is contributing to the destabilization of

our planet's entire bio-hydro-geo-atmospheric system?!.

And after all that stuff I don't want to hear, Curiosity has the nerve to tell me I have

intrinsic biases against ideas that disagree with my world view even if they're right.

But most problematically, Curiosity has no moral compass, and never has.

Long ago, Curiosity taught us how to start fires for cooking, for warmth, and to destroy

neighboring villages.

Curiosity taught us how to manipulate metals taken from the ground and make plows and scythes

to plant and harvest food, and swords to kill.

Curiosity taught us to use long-dead metamorphosed plants and phytoplankton to power the rise

of global civilization and the rise of global temperatures.

Curiosity taught us how to split and fuse atomic nuclei to generate electricity, to

make medicine, and to destroy entire cities.

Curiosity taught us to build miraculous portable personal-augmentation computer-camera-communicators,

and to use them to spy on each other.

Curiosity taught me I can use a magnifying glass to focus sunlight and burn insects.

Sometimes, Curiosity's a jerk.

But still, I haven't been able to break up with Curiosity – I mean, did you know that

if you lift a clock just one meter, earth's gravity causes it to run fast by a few nanoseconds

every year? – and I bet you probably have a hard time with Curiosity, too.

In fact, if there's one thing Curiosity's taught me, it's that human beings fall hard

for Curiosity.

I mean, look at this guy – he's totally in a manipulative relationship.

I suspect we're ultimately just going to have to figure out how to live with Curiosity.

So, here's the biggest lesson I've learned thus far: Curiosity pushes us to unlock lots

and lots of doors, doors to things lifechanging and worldchanging in good and bad ways; if

we listen, Curiosity can help us lay all the facts on the table about what each of those

doors to the future might bring.

But at the end of the day, it's up to us to decide which ones we want to go through.

Remnants of a Realm | Episode VIII | Golden & Silver Bazaar, Drybone & Seamless Zones - Duration: 10:20.

Hello Eorzeans!

I'm Lukile Bravestone, and welcome to another episode of Remnants of a Realm.

Last week we looked back at Vesper Bay, Arurum Vale and Interactive transportation.

And yes, I know that Vesper Bay's ferry connection with Limsa is still the fastest

way to get to the Waking Sands – I KNOW – But it's not even comparable to how

important that connection was in 1.0.

So yes, it is a shadow of its former self.

Anyway, let's move on to our first location – Thanalan!

Whoa whoa there, hold up.

Lukile – are you seriously doing an entire zone?

Well, other me, I'm glad you asked.

No, I'm not.

However, seeing as we've run out of instanced and open dungeons, we're going to start

looking closer at special hotspots in certain zones and check up on their status in 2.0.

To start it all off, let's pay a visit to Camp Drybone!

Camp Drybone was established sometime between 1560-1572, and served as a waypoint for adventurers

and traders alike.

The camp was most famous for its church of Saint Adama Landama – whose likeness can

be found on the guildleve plate for Munificence!

The camp had all the basic amenities expected from a camp of its size, a vendor, mender

and an aetheryte with connections to atherial gates in Halatali (yes we're going to visit

that one day), The Burning Wall and Sandgate.

After the Calamity, Drybone grew drastically.

No longer a tiny encampment, it has become a large settlement in the eastern part of

Eastern Thanalan.

The most likely reason for this sudden growth is the fact that the Church of Adama Landama

does not charge for their burials, and the existing Erralig Burial Chambers in Ul'Dah

are currently overflowing with the dead.

After the calamity, most of those who perished in the horrors of the calamity were put to

rest here.

Now let's step back to 1.0 – and the Golden Bazaar.

The Golden Bazaar was located in the far north of Eastern Thanalan, and served as a waypoint

for traders making their journey along the Royal Allagan Sunway.

However, as time went on and settlements like Camp Drybone popping up around it, business

declined and it became more of a ghost town than a bustling merchant waypoint.

With patch 1.22a, the Golden Bazaar became a Hamlet Defense location, breathing life

into the area once again.

Today, The Golden Bazaar has fallen into even harder times.

Camp Drybone has grown to such a size, there is no longer any need for the Golden Bazaar's

services.

That was, until the recent discovery of The Forgotten City ruins unearthed as a result

of the Calamity stirred new life into the settlement.

Mining has also picked up in the area.

The main building from 1.0 has been moved to a rather odd location, and new buildings

have popped up.

In fact, there is very little left of the original Golden Bazaar at all, except for

that dilapidated main building.

Will it ever regain its former glory?

Time will tell.

Looking to the west, just south of Camp Horizon, we find the lesser known brother of the Golden

Bazaar – The Silver Bazaar.

The Silver Bazaar was once a bustling waypoint for all manner of goods coming in from across

the seas.

After the fall of Ala Mhigo, however, the Ala Mhigan refugees took over the Silver Bazaar,

turning it into an Ala Mhigan Fishing settlement.

This is one of many 1.0 locations and settlements that had a City-State Icon, used in 1.0 to

indicate that it was a Hamlet.

And from that, one would quickly assume that this was intended to become a Hamlet Defense

location – as that's mostly what these icons were used for.

Looking closer at its design, it confirms this suspicion.

Buildings with guild icons on them and crafting benches was a clear indication that this was

going to become a Hamlet Defense location.

However, no Hamlet Defense was ever added to the Silver Bazaar – the game ended before

anything was implemented there.

This meant that the Silver Bazaar was just an empty area that was never really used.

The Bazaar went from a super important trade waypoint – to a long forgotten place, riddled

with poverty and disrepair.

However, the fishing business picked up for the small settlement.

Things didn't exactly get any better after the Calamity.

Today, The Silver Bazaar is barely recognizable as a bazaar at all.

The fishing trade started drying up shortly after the calamity, so many left the bazaar

altogether, selling the deeds to their homes to the Hammerlea developers.

Only the tiny square remains – and the once bustling fishing docks down the hill.

It doesn't look like the sun will shine on the Silver Bazaar anytime soon.

I mean, it shines, but…

Moving on.

The last location on our tour, is Mythril Pit T-8.

It was located south of Camp Drybon, with Halatali as the closest teleport point.

The Mythril Pit T-8 was once a quiet little inn, but when hostilities erupted with Amalj'aa,

the inn was abandoned.

In the game, this area served only as a place to repair gear and buy basic items.

Today, there is no trace of the inn in Eastern Thanalan.

It was most likely torn down, as it had been abandoned for quite a while.

There is, however a bar in Camp Drybone with no name.

Could the Mythril Pit T-8 have been moved to this location instead?

The size sure resembles that of the original exterior of the inn.

Who knows!

If you know anything about this, let me know in the comments!

So that was our locations for this episode, now let's take a look at something a lot

of people like to bring forth as a positive thing about 1.0.

Yes, we're finally talking about it – Seamless zones.

Now for those of you that are unfamiliar with 1.0's loading system, basically – once

you loaded into the game – the entire region became available without any loading zones.

So that means if you logged into Limsa Lominsa – you had access to Upper, Lower, Eastern

and Western La Noscea without ever having to wait for a loading screen to finish.

To make it even more incredible, the maps were pretty massive – and required a lot

of time to walk across.

Now – here's the thing about the seamless zones that were present in 1.0 – they might

have FELT seamless, but there was a lot of trickery involved here that just masked the

loading screens.

The loading tunnels.

This is just a term I'm using, but in most cases they can be classified as such.

Basically, these areas were long narrow corridors – often blocking the view ahead and behind

you and forcing you to walk for quite a while without anything happening – in some cases

having you to move around quite a bit to actually get to the end of the tunnel.

What actually happened here is that what you left behind was unloaded – the zone transitions

– and the other zone loads in, hence why your view is obstructed both ways when crossing

zones.

Let's take a look at Gridania's loading tunnel.

This incredibly way too bright red canopy covered loading tunnel would take approximately

30 seconds to cross – with nothing going on inside.

And yes, the long bridge you see in Limsa Lominsa in 2.0 was actually one you had to

cross to access Limsa Lominsa in 1.0.

For Ul'Dah they implemented a quite awkward way to access the city-state – through the

sides – not the main gate.

That was one of the design choices they had to make in order to facilitate the illusion

of a seamless world.

Now my absolute worst loading tunnels were the ones between overworld zones.

They were always these winding paths with rocks in the way and these open areas in the

middle with absolutely nothing in them.

They forced you to actually move and pay attention to where you were going – which became really

annoying over time, as you would often cross zones to do leves (HEH) and quests.

Today, zone dividers are a common nuisance, and for the most part it seems like an okay

compromise.

They have basically removed the annoying "walk for 30 seconds with nothing happening – KEEP

YOUR EYES ON THE SCREEN" aspect and instead allowed you some time to think about your

life, your problems, your future, your unpaid bills and your sad exista---

[Please Stand By] Now one thing that, If you've been following

the channel for a while you know this, I really cannot for the life of me understand – is

the need to split the city-states in two.

In 1.0, these were singular zones.

No upper and lower decks loading screens.

Yes, they had loading tunnels too, but they were way shorter, they didn't feel as useless

– in Limsa, the upper decks are upstairs – of course we have to use the stairs to

get there.

In Ul'Dah, well – no.

There is no need for a zone divider here!

What?!

And Gridania – acutally, Gridania is a mess, I'd just burn it down to be honest.

We may never know why they decided to split the city states like this, but…

OH THAL'S BALLS GO AWAY!

Anyways, we've reached the end of this episode my friends, but don't cry, we will meet

again next week with another brain blowing episode of Remnants of a Realm.

I feel like taking a walk in Coerthas for that one.

Hmm.

So, let me know what you think of this week's topic in the comments below!

Do you cry salty tears for the fate of the Golden and Silver Bazaar?

Do you think they'll ever come back?

Does Drybone make you…

dry…

Eh.

And what is your opinion on the zone dividers and loading screens?

BMW M3 & M4 Buyers Guide & Depreciation Analysis - Duration: 7:18.

Hey guys, JP here. This week we're going

to switch it up a little bit and I'm

going to talk about the European sports

cars for a change. We've had a lot of

requests to do a buying guide on the BMW

M3, well this week we're here to make

that happen. The BMW M3 is a

high-performance version of BMW 3-series.

Increased horsepower, increased

suspension and braking systems,

aerodynamic enhancement and changes, as

well as interior and exterior accents

are all standard when you step up to the

M3. On this week's video we're going to

look at the best values, the depreciation

curves, and when is the right time to buy

your M3, so stay tuned!

The BMW m3 has been around since the mid-80s and

features a total of five generations,

with each generation showcasing a more

powerful engine than the next. For this

buying guide we focused all the way back

to the E46 coupe of the early 2000s and

we finished with the current f80 M3

sedan. All data collected came from

either the Kelley Blue Book or the NADA

buying guides and all cars are assumed

to be in good condition with no

certified pre-owned warranty taken into

account. We also assume one mile on the

odometer. As with all of our other

previous buying guides we select the

least amount of options and a manual

transmission. Now let's look at some numbers. numbers.

The E46 M3 was introduced in October 2000

and came equipped for 3.2 litre

straight-six engine producing 333

horsepower, and featuring a red line of

8,000 RPM. The addition of burnt orange

seats and leather matching door panels

really helps set this car off.

As a matter of fact this is the first BMW

that I can really remember looking at it

and thinking "now that's what a proper

European sports car is supposed to look

like". With just under 44,000

produced this is one of the most popular

M3 generations. Now let's take a

look at some of the data. You see a

pretty massive spread from the original

MSRP to the current used price. Our data

shows you can pick up the newest version

of the E46 for over 51%

off original MSRP. As you get into older

cars you continue to save more money.

Here we see a large drop from 2004 back

to 2003 of nearly $4,000

This signals the best value proposition.

the 4th generation M3 was

introduced in 2007 and ran through 2013.

There are 3 variations, the E90

four-door sedan, the E92 coupe and the

E93 convertible. For car enthusiasts who

are not particularly familiar with the

BMW, these 3 designations can

certainly seem a bit confusing, but when

you see that it's simply a breakdown of

the sedan, or the coupe, or the

convertible it does make a lot more

sense. The E90 series M3's produced

414 horsepower from a 4.0-liter V8 engine

that was good for 0 - 60 in 3.9

seconds when equipped with a manual dual

clutch transmission. A quick look at our

chart will show that the final

production year for the E92 M3 can be

purchased for around $14,000

off MSRP. Looking at older models

we see the price gap continues to widen.

In 2011 it's up to 16,000. For the 2008

E92 coupe, which was the first production

year, you can see $20,000

in savings over MSRP. You also notice

that the M3 sedan has held it's value

better than the coupe version as

evidenced by the more linear line. The

entire E90 lineup

offers significant savings if that's the

generation of BMW M3 that you're targeting.

Starting in the 2014 model year

BMW introduced the F80 M3 sedan. The M3

is only available in a sedan for this

generation as BMW has plans for the M4

to be the coupe only version. Aside from

the two-door and the four-door they look

almost identical, and they also share the

same engine. It's a 3.0 liter twin-turbo

producing 425 horsepower which is good

for a zero to 62 time of 4.1 seconds.

0 to 62, not zero to 60. Must be a German

thing! As we look at the charts the data

shows that a used 2016 M3 is selling for

just about the same price as a new one.

Our research shows that the sedans are

holding their values better than the

coupes in this generation as well. A quick

search on car gurus does show that the

2016's are holding, and in rare cases

exceeding the current market values. Our

chart also shows a drop of approximately

$3,000 on the 2015 M3

compared to the original MSRP. Now this

is to be expected as it is now a 3

year old car. A quick check online will

show several deals are available for

well below the market price, some in the

range of $5-6,000

The M3 has several special editions

available depending on which country you

live in. The E46 coupe sport lightweight

package was never available here in the

US. The m3 competition package however

was available in the US and offered

19-inch BBS wheels, specialty tuned

spring rates, larger front rotors and

larger pistons, Alcantara steering wheel

as well as a special lagos blue exterior

paint. Really a beautiful paint that just

pops when you see it. One of the more

special editions also available in the

US is the e92 M3 GTS. This car is 300

pounds lighter than the standard M3

gives an additional 30 horsepower, and

with 0 - 62 time of 4.4 seconds, it

was quite impressive. To no one's

surprise all 135 that were made were

sold almost instantly. The M3 Lime Rock

Park edition is another specialty

exclusive car from BMW. Only 200 of these

were made and they were available in

2013 with carbon fiber performance parts,

specialty BMW titanium exhaust, and all

were painted in fire orange. The price

range for these cars really is all over

the board some of these are very low

production runs so they're going to be

very exclusive and very expensive I

really just wanted to point out some of

these in this section of the video to

show what BMW is capable of when they

really put their mind to it

As you can see from our research and

data, going from a newer generation M3

to an older generation M3 will

save you around ten thousand dollars w,arggrk

did see a single year drop of four

thousand dollars from 2004 to the 2003

e46 but that's more of an anomaly the

standard drop is going to be pretty

consistent from two to three thousand

dollars each year my bit of advice to

you would be to determine your budget

target and shop the generation based

around that number you're going to want

to find the lowest mileage car that

you're comfortable with in that price

range alright guys that's it don't

forget to Like comment subscribe and all

that other stuff until next time thanks

guys

50,000 People Per Year Are Hospitalized From Police Injuries - health - Duration: 4:15.

50,000 People Per Year Are Hospitalized From Police Injuries

The level that things have reached on every front is outrageous, exclaims SHTFplan.com's

Mac Slavo, and it isnt just police, the entire system is out of control.

Hospitals kill at least 100,000 patients per year due; the monetary system is a spreading

virus and a fraud.

No transaction in society represents what it seems on face value; it is discounted,

it is corruption.

How much farther can things deteriorate before they collapse?

We have only history to guide us, and time to wait.

Be ready for what is coming, and stay vigilant.

A new study published by JAMA Surgery found that from 2006 to 2012, there were approximately

51,000 emergency department visits per year for patients injured by law enforcement in

the United States, with this number stable over this time period.

From the press release:

During this time period, there were 355,677 ED visits for injuries by law enforcement,

and frequencies did not increase over time.

Of these visits, 0.3 percent (n = 1,202) resulted in death.

More than 80 percent of patients were men, and the average age of patients was 32 years.

Most lived in zip codes with median household income less than the national average, and

81 percent lived in urban areas.

Injuries by law enforcement were more common in the South and West and less common in the

Northeast and Midwest.

Most injuries by law enforcement resulted from being struck, with gunshot and stab wounds

accounting for fewer than seven percent.

Most injuries were minor.

Medically identified substance abuse was common in patients injured by police, as was mental

illness.

The most common cause of injury was being struck by or against which accounted for

approximately 77 percent of the ER visits.

Lead study author Dr. Elinore Kaufman, a surgical resident at New York-Presbyterian Hospital

Weill Cornell Medical Center in New York City, told Live Science that mental illness was

common, affecting 20 percent of people injured.

She added that the studys estimate of 51,000 emergency room visits per year does not include

deaths that occur at crime scenes or people who are injured but do not seek medical attention.

Of the findings, the study authors wrote,

While public attention has surged in recent years, we found these frequencies [approximately

51,000 ED visits per year] to be stable over 7 years, indicating that this has been a longer-term

phenomenon.

While it is impossible to classify how many of these injuries are avoidable, these data

can serve as a baseline to evaluate the outcomes of national and regional efforts to reduce

law enforcement-related injury.

According to The Counted, a database maintained by The Guardian, 1,146 people were killed

by police in the US in 2015, and 1,092 lost their lives to law enforcement in 2016.

The Washington Post maintains a database called Fatal Force that tracks police shootings.

So far in 2017, according to the database, 295 people have been fatally shot by police

in the US.

A website called Killed By Police lists people who have been killed by police by all means,

including gunshot, taser, restraint/physical force, chemical, vehicle, and other.

The site is updated regularly, and as of the time of this writing, 343 deaths by law enforcement

are documented.

New Lego Creator Red Creatures Dragon Vs Indominus Rex Jurassic World Speed Build Unboxing 31032 - Duration: 16:12.

you

New Lego Creator Red Creatures Dragon Vs Indominus Rex Jurassic World Speed Build Unboxing 31032

so anyways guys let us go and visit the

park these are some of our awesome

jurassic world i know sets that we have

put together wala is cool what do you

guys think what guys great to see you

again got another awesome lego set today

this is a lego creator set this is

number three 1032 this is red creatures

so you got a dragon it's a three-in-one

sets you can build a dragon a snake or a

scorpion also so there is the three on

the back and of course I am going to

build the dragon which is totally smooth

okay so let's see what was in the box I

really like these three in one set guys

so uh you've already seen the speed

build for the dragon so basically

they'll give you three books here they

have like the Scorpion and the snake in

one book and then they have the dragon

here in the other board so they do a

great job with these sets here's some of

the other lego creator sets you could

buy I already did the dinosaur Wanda

t-rex in the Triceratops left school and

then they give you two bags of Legos

sweet let's go ahead and put this guy

together have awesome battle okay guys

let's go ahead and check out this dragon

because he is totally awesome I really

love these are lenco dragon in dinosaur

set they are super durable guys I mean I

had this guy sitting in a bag on my

shelf and none of his pieces fell off I

mean that is awesome for all Lego set so

all first of all like

said super durable tail here it clicks

into lots of different positions there

and then all you got a ball joint here

so you can swing 360 there and the rest

of these are just all hooked together so

when you swing this 360 they're going to

go with it but they could move up and

down so uh you could turn this up so it

looks like it's a Scorpion's tail like

ready to strike so that is really cool

looking da the wings are awesome I mean

they did a great job with these wings

they click and lock into different

positions all the way up to there and

all the way down to there and then are

they also click a lock in the middle

here so you could put this positions up

to there and all the way down to there

so all you could have this guy like you

seen in the stop-motion video how his

wings were moving you can make this guy

I have realistic all wing movement by

our doing stop motion video and with the

way these wings blocking for play his

head is really cool too first of all

this part here moves and locks into

different positions and then his actual

head is on a ball joint so 360 degree

movement there up right left down mouth

does open and close like all the way I'm

you can even open his mouth like that

like the bottom of his mouth so off then

you got off flames here that clip in so

these are removable like you seen in my

stop motion video the green blocks for

his eyes so that looks really cool

movement on his arms is also awesome

it's on a ball-joint 360 degree movement

and then his actual hand part with the

claw is 360 degree movement also legs

also 360 degree movement so you could

fold this guy flat if you want it

doesn't it does much better so you don't

lose pieces so you can fold the whole

guys flat here and put him like in a bag

so that is really cool i really like the

fact that they did that like i said i

did have them on a bag here and on the

back on my shelf for a few days already

and none of his pieces have fallen off

so for a Lego set that is totally

awesome lego is durable but many times

you will get pieces that fall off the

set but these regular ones are totally

awesome and then I've got some other

Lego ones that bill obviously they're

Dyke my guy knows that ah i did a video

full review on that one in the speed

build also and then from the same set

you could build a triceratops but you

have to buy another set i actually

bought three of these sets so i could

build all the dinos there was a tee RAK

the Triceratops and granted on the train

adan i have not done yet but anyways if

you want to see any of these guys i got

a full review on them so i got a awesome

ah drastic park setup

here this would be I guess you can make

it like a big zoo for the LEGO sets

first of all I do got the big indominus

which I've reviewed for are you guys

putting it together speed builds and

everything ah the cool lego sets so we

could go ahead and set him right in to

the park here and when we're done i will

go ahead and take a look at all of them

and then we got another awesome lego

t-rex which I went ahead and put

together this guy is totally awesome

also ah I mean you know the set is

awesome because I bought three of them

to put together I mean they they fit

together so good in their very

affordable odds about fifteen dollars

for the satin you can build three

different dinos like I said the t-rex

the Triceratops in the Train adan which

I have not done yet I will be doing that

one soon ah the t-rex is the coolest one

the Triceratops I do like to I mean

obviously i like it i will not have

brought three upset so we'll go ahead

and place that guy in there and then ah

my dragon is going to go ahead and join

the Dinos in their park you'll have to

go ahead and fold his wings up and half

when you come right into here we're

going to give him the position of honor

because this is his videos and here is

another big vintage to direct that ah

I've done reviews on and that i put

together so this guy could you just film

in there we're going to go ahead and set

em to the back of the park there and

then we have an awesome vintage

velociraptor this could go black on so

this guy's cool to go ahead give me to

the park and then we got some drastic

world legos that we're going to go ahead

some other ones besides the indominus

we're going to go ahead and put in there

here we've got aa knock off t-rex one

this one you could actually buy on

amazon or ebay so this guy is really

cool i do get the original but i don't

have it here right now well i still have

the original from that set and then we

got some other awesome ones let's see

what we got we got some the

velociraptors hero click I lost his arm

huh couple of her up your blue there we

got some of these sets actually come

with like the miniature t-rexes and the

miniature indominus rex is so i got a

couple different indominus rex is I got

this one that's got like brown spots

over there and then I got the one that

looks like the big Lego one so don't be

fooled when you're buying two guys I'll

make sure you read what size they are

because there's a huge difference

between the small ones in the phase one

and then this is also one I got from

Dino brick step there are I put together

you could check that one out too on my

playlist that one would be called the

odd Iran asaurus rest escape I did put

that set together using speed build stop

motion animation similar to what i did

with this dragon one so that was a lot

of fun too

and then we've got some Triceratops that

belong to some of the LEGO sets also

okay so all anyways let's go ahead and

get these guys in the park so baby and

Dominic is going to go with mommy and

Dominic baby t-rex is going to go with

mommy t-rex velociraptors are going to

go by themselves oops I guess we'll have

to walk them in the door not just fly

them over the top another baby indominus

and Dominick's is going to go with mom

this baby t-rex is going to go with mom

over here let's see Triceratops are

going to be in great danger because

every Dino I put in here besides the

Lego Triceratops one is a carnivore so

they are not in a really good position

there so anyways guys let us go and

visit the park these are some of our

awesome Jurassic world Dino sets that we

have put together Wow is cool what do

you guys think I mean I really like

these all these different Legos said

they are cool

you know ones that are not reviewed

we're like I said ah those two eyes Lego

playlist set at the end of this video

and in there i will have like the

difference that's like we build a

stop-motion animation using dragon frame

software it's just a lot of fun and this

set here ah they are in the cage is

actually the mobile is actually the

command center for our jurassic park so

that is a big set i did a full review on

that if you want to check out my

jurassic world playlist ok so here are

all the Dinos in the park wow that is

cool and a lot of fun tell me what you

guys think I mean I really love these

Lego dinos let me know which one of them

CLOVER TELLS THE 50 MOST DISGUSTING COCKROACH SECRETS - Duration: 7:02.

Hey there, welcome back old friends and welcome to new ones. Today I'm going to share the

50 most disgusting secrets I know about a creature that sends shivers down the spines

of humans and cats alike… the cockroach!

As many of you know, I'm from Florida. Florida has roaches. People try to call them by prettier

names like Palmetto Bug or Water Bug, but usually the correct name is the American Cockroach.

The American Cockroach is the largest cockroach commonly encountered by humans and cats alike,

growing to an average length of 1.5 inches. Equally nasty is the German Cockroach but

he's smaller – only about ½ inch so I think American cockroaches are worse.

The biggest cockroach is the Giant Borrowing Cockroach and it can get to be about 3 ½

inches but most roaches only grow to be about the size of a human thumbnail.

Regardless of which of the 5,000 known species of cockroaches we're talking about, I find

them utterly horrible and so do lots of other people, maybe that's why humans termed a

group of cockroaches an intrusion.

If you've never seen a cockroach – lucky you – just kidding. They are actually an

amazing little creature. They all have six legs, antennae and wings – yea wings - though

not all cockroaches can fly some just use their wings as stabilizers when they jump.

Roaches sure can run though. A roach – even a one day old roach the size of a speck of

dust can run up to three miles per hour.

Roaches can even run on two legs! Cockroaches are seemingly indestructible too. The average

roach lives anywhere froma few months to a couple of years depending on the species and

it might be best just to wait them out.

You can try cutting them up but it turns out if you cut off their head – the body will

live for weeks and its not just the body – the head will keep waving its antennae for hours.

I hear if you refrigerate the head and give it the right nutrients it can live without

its body even longer though I have no plans to test that theory.

It's hard to starve a roach too. Not only do they eat almost anything bread, fruit,

paper, clothing, even hair but they can go as much as a month without food – though

they do need water so maybe water is the trick. Don't try drowning them though – a roach

can hold its breath for 40 minutes even when submerged in water.

We can't even send roaches into space to free the world from their intrusions. It turns

out that its been done and it only made the cockroach more frightening as the cockroaches

raised in space became faster, stronger, and tougher than their earthbound brethren.

I wouldn't recommend a nuclear option either. It has been said for years that cockroaches

will rule the world if humanity ever destroys itself in a nuclear war. While, that might

not be completely accurate it does seem that they have a better chance because they have

a 6 to 15 times greater radiation resistance than human beings.

Freezing them doesn't work either. A new species in the US can survive freezing temperatures.

The freeze proof roach came to the US from Asia. I think I know why too. In China, Thailand

and Asia people have been known to fry up a batch of roaches for a nice snack.

Apparently they are particularly good twice fried in peanut oil. Beyond snacking, Chinese

pharmaceutical companies grind them up and stuff them into pills a healthy treatment

for the heart, stomach and liver.

Have you ever heard that if you see one roach, you have an infestation? That's because

roaches have their own neighborhoods and don't like to travel far from their roots. Given

that the average American Cockroach can lay 150 eggs every ten months and the German Cockroach

can produce 200 eggs each holding 30 to 48 babies in her lifetime sighting only one roach

probably means you have an intrusion!

That's particularly important for people with allergies since cockroaches are one of

the most common and allergenic of indoor pests – their saliva, body and droppings all have

the ability to cause a reaction and can severely affect those who suffer from asthma.

Not only that, roaches are farty. See, the dog isn't always to blame. Sometimes it's

the roach who can release more methane in relationship to their body weight than any

other creature.

So, if you have roaches there are lots of reasons to get rid of them but I told you

already that they are incredibly hard to kill. Your choice for dealing with an intrusion

of roaches might be hire a professional exterminator, learn to live with your roach intrusion or

maybe spread some catnip. Yeah – I like catnip but it isn't for me.

It turns out that catnip is a natural cockroach repellant. The same chemical that makes us

cats love catnip acts as a powerful insect repellant against cockroaches.

Now if you don't want to try any of the many ways I've mentioned to kill a cockroach

and don't want to line your property with catnip plants, you could try living with a

cockroach. It turns out they are not just disgustingly, sneaky housepests. Some cockroaches

are pretty cool.

In general, cockroaches are beneficial to the environment because they recycle almost

any organic matter you give them and some specific cockroaches have habits that can

be almost endearing to the people who love them.

The Madagascar hissing cockroach makes a hissing noise and some Austrailian roach species practice

acoustic and vibration music when looking for a date.

Some other roaches tap a hard surface in a rhythmic, drumbeat manner and the deaths head

cockroach is odorless and doesn't ask for a lot of extra care – just a terrarium with

plenty of hiding spots and a little food tossed in now and then.

Be careful though because roaches are social creatures who like to make decisions as a

group and can actually become ill if they are left alone too long so you might need

to get a terrarium big enough for an entire intrusion.

Now you know nearly everything I find interestingly disgusting about cockroaches but two. The

two most terrifying. First, there are roaches out there who are not only indestructible,

they are being controlled! The Jewel Wasp can inject mind controlling substances into

the roach brain that allows them to exert total control over the roach.

And the final most disgustingly, terrifying fact about roaches – you eat them all the

time. The FDA has deemed anything below 6o insect parts per 100 grams of food to be safe

for human consumption. That means an average 60 gram chocolate bar can contain 30 roach

parts and still be deemed safe to eat.

Thanks for spending a few minutes with me learning all the disgusting, unusual, and

downright terrifying things I know about cockroaches. Don't forget click subscribe so you can

be as clever as a Curious Cat can make you and come back tomorrow to find out where curiosity

took the cat. See you then!

I HAVE MEDICAL MARIJUANA?! - Duration: 12:41.

Bye!

10 Personality 'Flaws' That Actually Show You're A Much Better - health - Duration: 7:34.

10 Personality Flaws That Actually Show Youre A Much Better Person Than You Think

You Are

1. Having a decent list of failures to your name.

There are plenty of failures that are not admirable having a poor GPA because you

didnt try, quitting a passion (even though you loved it) simply because it got hard,

etc. But there are also a lot of good failures in life failures that came from you putting

yourself out there and taking a swing at something new and trying something that scared you.

They may feel horrible at first, but when you have the right kind of failures to your

name, all it means it that youre very much alive, that youre trying things outside

of your comfort zone all the time, and that you understand the importance of growing every

day by doing things that youre not already good at.

2. Your inclination to be honest with the people you care about, even when it hurts.

We all want the high, we all want the easy way out. If were dating someone that treats

us poorly but were too scared to be alone, we gravitate towards the person that tells

us this is normal in relationships. If we get incredibly winded climbing the stairs

and we worry that were unhealthy, we want someone to tell us its nothing to worry

about. If were on our sixth job in two years and were wondering if were the

problem, we want to be told no way, its not you, its them! But when you truly

love someone, its more important to tell them the truth, even if it hurts, even if

it makes you seem harsh. Its important say something to someone you care about when

they are wasting their life with a jerk, or when their health is deteriorating from their

own choices, or when they are not holding down a job because of their own lack of responsibility.

Although you might be the tough love friend or sibling or partner, thats a thousand

times better than being the person who tells people what they want to hear, just to be

liked.

3. Asking for what you want.

This is not the same thing as demanding what you want, or feeling entitled to anything

in your life that sounds good or pleasant or fun. But asking for what you want a

raise when youve worked hard, a what are we? talk with a romantic interest youve

been spending a lot of time with, support from your friends when youre struggling

just means that you know how to be vulnerable and you feel comfortable asking for help when

you need it.

4. Your desire to be by yourself, a lot.

Its obvious that our generation has a serious problem with the fear of missing out. Because

we live on our phones and have multiple apps and social networks that can remind us of

what everyone else is doing down to the second, its difficult not to feel like everybody

is having SUCH A BETTER TIME than you. And because of this, the desire to want some time

alone, even if youre convinced that youre an extrovert, can make you feel like something

is wrong with you. But wanting to be by yourself quite frequently can be a healthy thing it

shows that youre not afraid to be alone with your own thoughts, you have a strong

urge to take time to process your emotions and feelings about each day, and you have

a yearning to truly understand who you are when no one else is around.

5. Your tendency to let go of friendships that are weighing you down.

There is a difference between being the kind of person who completely bails on a friend

who is having a really rough time and a person who chooses to walk away from a one-sided

friendship in which the other person only brings in negativity, toxicity, and selfish

choices into the mix. If you are the kind of person who shows up no matter what when

your friends are hurting, but who also walks away from people who wont support you the

way you support them, you have nothing to be ashamed of. Cutting your ties with a bad

and self-centered friend is nothing to be ashamed about it just means you have enough

self-respect to understand that youd rather be part of a relationship that is 50-50 rather

than one that is one-sided.

6. Feeling afraid every time you try something new.

Fear doesnt matter. Its the most human thing in the world, and every time it shows

up in your life, it means youre doing something thats outside of your normal, safe little

bubble. Feeling afraid of newness and unfamiliarity is not a personality flaw the personality

flaw is only born if you let that fear stop you from doing.

7. Your unwillingness to just say yes to everything.

We live in an age where were constantly encouraged to follow our dreams and

to always try something new. And while these are positive and optimistic outlooks

to take, they can also confuse us into becoming a yes man or woman someone whos

afraid to say no, someone whos afraid to put their health and mental wellness first,

and someone whos afraid to speak up and tell someone the truth, even if it would benefit

that person in the long run. Some people may judge you for not being a spontaneous, yes-lets-do-anything

kind of person, but all it actually shows is that you have a backbone.

8. A lack of desire to work 80-hour work weeks.

If you want to one day be the top executive in your company or the top person in your

law firm, then do what you gotta do no judgments being made here. But if thats

not something you want if youd rather have a decent job that pays the bills and

challenges you and lets you build a life for yourself without asking for your life in return,

theres nothing wrong with that. There is nothing lazy or lamentable about not wanting

your career to be your whole focus for the next several decades of your life. It is just

as okay to want it to be part of your life.

9. Asking a lot of questions.

This can be seen as annoying in work meetings, during someones story at dinner, at a panel

for something youre interested in. And yeah, sometimes, there are certain people

who do this just because they want to hear themselves talk. But often, there are people

who are truly curious and just want to learn and in a world where we are all so focused

on getting out what we have to say, it really is refreshing and admirable to be around someone

who truly just wants to know more about someone elses life, someone elses story, someone

elses experience. So when youre doing it truly for the right reasons, when ego is

not involved, and when all you want is to know more about that persons perspective,

the tendency to ask questions can be a truly charming and rare personality trait.

10. Not having a large number of friends.

This seems like the most important thing in high school, and college, and even those first

couple years after college. But the older you get, and the more comfortable you start

to feel about yourself, the more you actually understand that the quality of your friendships

is so much more crucial to your happiness than how many friends you actually have. A

lot of friends can make you feel important and safe, but a few friendships with deep

depths are the ones that bring you the greatest joy.

Menstrual Cycle - What is menstrual cycle and its phases - Duration: 5:45.

What is menstruation?

Menstruation is a woman's monthly bleeding.

When you menstruate, your body sheds the lining of the uterus (womb).

Menstrual blood flows from the uterus through the small opening in the cervix and passes

out of the body through the vagina.

Most menstrual periods last from 3 to 5 days.

What is the menstrual cycle?

When periods (menstruations) come regularly, this is called the menstrual cycle.

Having regular menstrual cycles is a sign that important parts of your body are working

normally.

The menstrual cycle provides important body chemicals, called hormones, to keep you healthy.

It also prepares your body for pregnancy each month.

A cycle is counted from the first day of 1 period to the first day of the next period.

The average menstrual cycle is 28 days long.

Cycles can range anywhere from 21 to 35 days in adults and from 21 to 45 days in young

teens.

The rise and fall of levels of hormones during the month control the menstrual cycle.

What happens during the menstrual cycle?

In the first half of the cycle, levels of estrogen (the "female hormone") start to rise.

Estrogen plays an important role in keeping you healthy, especially by helping you to

build strong bones and to help keep them strong as you get older.

Estrogen also makes the lining of the uterus (womb) grow and thicken.

This lining of the womb is a place that will nourish the embryo if a pregnancy occurs.

At the same time the lining of the womb is growing, an egg, or ovum, in one of the ovaries

starts to mature.

At about day 14 of an average 28-day cycle, the egg leaves the ovary.

This is called ovulation.

After the egg has left the ovary, it travels through the fallopian tube to the uterus.

Hormone levels rise and help prepare the uterine lining for pregnancy.

A woman is most likely to get pregnant during the 3 days before or on the day of ovulation.

Keep in mind, women with cycles that are shorter or longer than average may ovulate before

or after day 14.

A woman becomes pregnant if the egg is fertilized by a man's sperm cell and attaches to the

uterine wall.

If the egg is not fertilized, it will break apart.

Then, hormone levels drop, and the thickened lining of the uterus is shed during the menstrual

period.

What is a typical menstrual period like?

During your period, you shed the thickened uterine lining and extra blood through the

vagina.

Your period may not be the same every month.

It may also be different than other women's periods.

Periods can be light, moderate, or heavy in terms of how much blood comes out of the vagina.

This is called menstrual flow.

The length of the period also varies.

Most periods last from 3 to 5 days.

But, anywhere from 2 to 7 days is normal.

For the first few years after menstruation begins, longer cycles are common.

A woman's cycle tends to shorten and become more regular with age.

Most of the time, periods will be in the range of 21 to 35 days apart.

When does a girl usually get her first period?

In the United States, the average age for a girl to get her first period is 12.

This does not mean that all girls start at the same age.

A girl can start her period anytime between the ages of 8 and 15.

Most of the time, the first period starts about 2 years after breasts first start to

develop.

If a girl has not had her first period by age 15, or if it has been more than 2 to 3

years since breast growth started, she should see a doctor.

How long does a woman have periods?

Women usually have periods until menopause.

Menopause occurs between the ages of 45 and 55, usually around age 50.

Menopause means that a woman is no longer ovulating (producing eggs) or having periods

and can no longer get pregnant.

Like menstruation, menopause can vary from woman to woman and these changes may occur

over several years.

The time when your body begins its move into menopause is called the menopausal transition.

This can last anywhere from 2 to 8 years.

Some women have early menopause because of surgery or other treatment, illness, or other

reasons.

If you don't have a period for 90 days, you should see your doctor.

He or she will check for pregnancy, early menopause, or other health problems that can

cause periods to stop or become irregular.

When should I see a doctor about my period?

See your doctor about your period if:

-You have not started menstruating by the age of 15.

-You have not started menstruating within 3 years after breast growth began, or if breasts

haven't started to grow by age 13.

-Your period suddenly stops for more than 90 days.

-Your periods become very irregular after having had regular, monthly cycles.

-Your period occurs more often than every 21 days or less often than every 35 days.

-You are bleeding for more than 7 days.

-You are bleeding more heavily than usual or using more than 1 pad or tampon every 1

to 2 hours.

-You bleed between periods.

-You have severe pain during your period.

-You suddenly get a fever and feel sick after using tampons.
