Tutorial - Notepad Cover + Easy Die Cutting Tip - Duration: 4:54.

Hi! I'm Susana from Pink & Fun

and I today I'll recreate a project that had already done

but I now will add a funny technique, using a cutting die

So, I will use a "Post It" pad

with 7.5 cm x 7.5 cm

and cardstock with 19 cm x 8.5 cm

I will crease at 8, 9 and 10 cm

then I will fold the creases

Now, I'll fold the middle crease

make a small mark at 3 cm on each side

and trim those marks, avoiding cut the crease

like this...

Now I will turn it to the opposite side

fold one cover to one side,

the other to the other side

and pushing the middle piece out

On the larger side, I will apply some double-sided tape on both centerpieces

and paste

Now, we just need to attach the notepad

and embellish

I've cut scrapbooking paper with 7.5 cm x 8 cm

and I'll adhere it to the cover

I've cut another scrap of paper,

with 7 cm x 7.5 cm

and I'll draw a pencil line at 3.5 cm

I will use a die from this set of La Pareja Creativa

I'll use this large and intrincate butterfly

but I'll show you quickly

the other dies from the set

So I will use the line as a guide

to center the die in the middle of the paper

I will use "post its" notes with repositionable adhesive to keep it in place

and will die cut using the Sizzix Big Shot

Because I want a partial cut

I will assemble the acrylic cutting pad just to where I want to cut

In this case it is to the butterfly wing end

so I will leave about 2 or 3mm up to pencil line traced

This step is very important because I do not want to cut the butterfly completely

I'll turn it

and do exactly the same on the other side

As you can see,

the butterfly was only partially cut

and now i'll atttach it to the notepad cover

I' ve cut a flower from the strawberries set

I will make a hole in the center,

apply a brad

and paste it to the butterfly

Insert a pen and it's ready!

I hope you enjoyed this video,

please share it in your social networks to help me spread the channel,

thank you for watching,

Kisses and see you next time!

Vì sao học sinh khuyết tật cần quyền chọn trường - Duration: 4:20.

The first thing you should know about me: I'm a very lucky guy.

The second thing you should know is: I'm blind, and that's why I'm wearing these.

I was born with retinal cancer and, at ten months old, I lost my left eye.

At twelve years old, I lost my right.

So, why am I so lucky then?

I'll give you three reasons: I have a loving and supporting family; I play competitive golf,

which I love; and I'm the long snapper for the University of Southern California,

which I love even more.

But there's another reason why I'm lucky… and that's because, even though I'm blind,

and even though I have special needs, I got a great education.

There is six and half million public school students in the United States who, like me,

have special needs.

Some of them have more serious disabilities than I do; some of them, less.

But most aren't as lucky as I am.

I went to Orange Lutheran, a private high school in Southern California.

My school gave me a tutor that was able to help me through Calculus and other Advanced

Placement courses.

They gave me the same opportunities and expectations as any other student.

And now, I go to a great college.

But this was only possible because I was born into a family that could afford private school.

In California, that's the only way special-needs students can be assured a good education.

Why?

Because in California, and in most states, if you're a special-needs student,

you don't have any choices.

If you cannot afford a private school, you are stuck -- in going to the public school

that the government chooses for you.

I tried that at first, but right off the bat there were problems.

All the special-needs students in my district were grouped into one class.

Academic ability didn't matter; interest didn't matter; it only mattered that you

had a disability.

Even if I were to outperform other students, say, in Honors Chemistry, I couldn't take

the class with them because I was blind.

And this was in Orange County, California – home to some of the nation's top public schools!

Imagine what it's like in less fortunate communities.

But, thanks to my parents, I had options.

So I left the public school and went to a private one.

But what about the millions of special-needs students in middle-to-lower income families?

Don't they deserve the same opportunities that I had?

Of course, they do!

And that's why I'm for school choice.

With school choice, the money follows the student.

Every child receives funding that their parents can direct to the school that best fits their

needs: public, private, charter, even homeschool – no one is stuck in a school

that doesn't work for them.

Twelve states already employ school choice programs for special needs students.

And it works.

One great example comes from Florida.

The McKay Scholarship Program for Students with Disabilities gives kids the choice to

attend the public school in their district, a public school in another district,

or even a private school.

A study by the Manhattan Institute showed marked improvement in reading and math scores

for the students in the program.

Not surprisingly, this program is becoming more popular.

In 2009, 20,000 special-needs students enrolled.

In 2015, that number had grown to over 31,000.

But instead of trying to duplicate this success, teachers' unions, and the politicians in

their pocket, cling to the old model, which benefits them – not students.

In states like California, New York, and even Texas, they have managed to

block school choice entirely.

But fortunately, they don't have the final say.

More and more Americans believe that special-needs students deserve a quality education.

It shouldn't depend on whether you are lucky enough to be born into a family that can afford

private school, or whether you are lucky enough to be born in the right district, or right state.

It shouldn't depend on luck at all.

No one sees this more clearly than I do.

I'm Jake Olson, for Prager University.

3 Steps To Manage Money Despite Irregular Income - Duration: 10:41.

This video will provide tips for financial planning for those with irregular income and large amount of variable pay

Self-employed, small businessmen, start up entrepreneurs can achieve what the salaried can

Some minor adjustments need to be done in money management by those with irregular income

In this video, we will stick 3 broad steps that people with irregular income need to take

Get started with your emergency fund. It is also called contingency fund, "rainy day fund" or your reserve

Emergency fund, in case of a person with irregular income, does more than help during emergencies

It also takes care of all your regular expenses

For people with irregular income, we recommend an emergency fund equivalent to 9-12 months of regular expenses

This will not only cover regular expenses but important expenses such as insurance premiums and children's school fees

Anticipate the kind of expenses your family will have in the next 9-12 months and build an equivalent amount of emergency funds

These things are important if you have just started your business, your business is small or your income is based on achieving certain targets

Try to build an emergency fund bit by bit, over time

To build an emergency fund, you can stash away some money every month in a separate bank savings account

You can also use a systematic investment plan (SIP) of a liquid fund

Keep the emergency fund in a separate investment helps you earmark a specific sum of money for emergencies

One of the things not to do is to park the money for long in a bank savings account since the money is taxable and typically receives low interest

This is a large amount and you can get better returns from alternatives such as liquid funds

You could even consider investing a small amount in a shorter term debt fund

Just keep the amount you need in the savings account and keep the other amount in liquid investments

Emergency funds ensure that you don't draw on your long term investments to meet short term needs

The second step for those with irregular income is insurance

A person with irregular income shouldn't be rushing into investments

You need to have an emergency fund and complete insurance coverage

Life, health, threat to income from accident and home--all the risks need to be covered

Smartly shop around for the highest coverage with the lowest premium insurance plans like online term life insurance plans

The idea is that if something goes wrong, you use the emergency fund or insurance, and not investments

The third step is invest for future needs such as buying a home, child's higher education and your retirement

Common excuse of self-employed people for not making investments is inadequate or irregular income

Remember, small amounts invested over a long period of time can lead to substantial savings

You can start with an investment as small as Rs 500 in systematic investment plan (SIP) of an equity fund

Each SIP or a combination of SIPs could be earmarked for particular financial goals like child's higher education

You can collect your money for nearer term needs like annual life insurance premium through investments in recurring deposits (RD)

Why I Stopped Listing My Disability on My Online Dating Profile - Duration: 3:43.

♪ Romantic music plays in the background throughout video ♪

ZACHARY: Thank you for joining me Youtube.

You look beautiful today.

I've been looking forward to this date all week.

Truth be told securing an in-person date with online dating sites isn't the easiest thing

to do when you have a disability.

The complications to online dating caused by having a disability really begin at making

your profile.

You face the question "Do I mention my disability in my online dating profile?"

There seems no easy answer.

If you do make mention, possible matches might dismiss you before even giving you a chance.

If you don't make mention, matches might think you are trying to hide your disability.

So, WHAT DO YOU DO?!

I myself initially went the most direct route, mentioning in my profile my cerebral palsy,

CP for short.

I did this for a while and received very little interest from other users on the site I was using, e-Harmony.

A conversation with my friend Rob helped me realize that someone unfamiliar with CP would

find the fact I have a disability intimidating.

So considering the lagging interest and Rob's insights I decided to remove any mentions

of my CP from my profile.

Soon enough I started gaining more interest from matches, some of that interest peaking

with in-person dates.

However, I did not wait for these in-person dates to bring up my disability.

Instead I found opportunity in the middle ground, in-between e-Harmony's guided communication

system and the in-person date, on the phone.

Set up a call to talk before arranging your first date.

During that call seek out an appropriate place to bring up your disability.

That's what has worked best for me.

Admittedly said strategy might not work for you if you have a serious speech impediment

or a more visible disability, like you use a wheelchair.

So, enough about me.

I don't want to be that bad date who talks about himself the entire time.

Tell me Youtube about your experiences with online dating.

How do you handle informing your matches about your disability?

VIETNAMESE STREET FOOD TOUR in Hanoi - TOP 10 HANOI STREET FOODS - Duration: 16:58.

Hi and a huge welcome to Steve's kitchen

We're in Hanoi, got all the bikes around

it is crazy in the city. I'm going to

take you out on the street tonight and

we're going to try 10 of the best Hanoi

street food, probably from a tourist

perspective. I'm actually going to be

doing another video later, on secret food

in Hanoi, so watch out for that video and

we're also going to be doing Sweet Treats. So

for now let's get out on the street of

old Hanoi City and taste obviously

the Pho of course and we're having bun Cha

which is a similar sort of dish but a

little different and we won't be

forgetting just here, where I'm going to

start this tour up with a Banh My, it's

like a French bread stick, it's very

French influence as well, they often put

the pate inside and a forced meat, come

on let's start with Banh My. Can I have

the roast chicken? yeah. So I'm going

to have this Banh My. The lady's.... now I

love the way they open these up with the

scissors, they cut them open rather than

slice them, quite practical I suppose.

So we've got a nice pate going on there

first but whether you ask for it

we're going to get that pate. I would

not have it. Oh no thats chicken....You asked

for chicken. Oh Yeah Chicken.

25 so it's 25,000 dong which is about in

Australian about a dollar fifty, probably

a little bit less in US. Now they're

filling that up with salads but also

something that really give this great

flavor, the coriander. So I've got my roast

chicken in there, I've got all those

lovely flavours that Pate as well.

I can tell you, it smells delicious. Tastes

fantastic, the pate is fresh and delicious, the

chicken is gorgeous and tender, then you've

got that coriander and salad in there, this

is so good. The reason I like this place is

I think the pate is better than a lot of

places. I will leave it on my tour guide

down below, lets get on. Now here in Hanoi

you'll find the streets are divided up into

districts of similar themes. We're on

Hang Bo at the moment and this street is

all haberdashery, you've got ribbons

you've got beads, labels, anything you want

to do with haberdashery. All the shops

down here will be selling a similar

theme and that is the same with the food

in Hanoi as well. Chances are if you find

a street that has great Street food its

neighbors and all the way down the

street will also have fantastic street

food. Time for some Pho, we've come to

a little place just around the corner

from where we're staying Pho Ga, so it's

on 7th Dinh Liet street. I'll try and get

the right pronunciation. is this kaffir

oh no lemon leaf, lemon leaf

thank you 'cảm ơn' beautiful. The ladies

sorting me out some beautiful chicken, we've

just tried..... they've got the lemon leaves....

I don't think it's kaffir lime leaves

it's a little softer, we've got the

spring onions sliced up, definitely going

to be some coriander in there as well

I'm really looking forward to this one

it looks really fresh and crisp. Lets wait for it to

be bought out. Four on a bike just

pulled up nicely

So you can see all the herbs on top of that

pot, pick yourself out out some communal

chopsticks. Now look we've got all the

beautiful shredded chicken on here, we've

got some little spring onions that have

been sliced up, we have some chives and

we've got this wonderful consomme or

it's a chicken broth. Give it a try.

You don't tend to slurp up your noodles

like you would with spaghetti you just

sort of snap them off or bite them off.

I'm becoming a real Pho addict. Fresh,

gorgeous now what you should probably do

is take a little bit of lime as well, so

we take a bit of fresh line and just

squeeze it in there, ooh hoo got me in the eye.

little bit of chili too, it doesn't have to have

too much chili to be honest. Come in

take a look at the broth, its got this

wonderful clear broth not too greasy

packed full of flavour actually a little

bit of white pepper black pepper on that

will just improve it a tiny bit. The

heats coming into the soup now oh yeah

so good

a bit of chili in there, a little bit

of that spring onion

Oh chilis just hit the back of my throat, they're

hot chilis. So good

I can just taste that little lemon leaf

in there as well

So you know Hanoi has great Pho let's

get on and enjoy some other delights of

Hanoi ......Australia......

Melbourne....... yeah.........This is Banh Trang Tron and

this is fish

oh..... yeah ......Squid..... nice...... then I've got a little

a little quail egg as well.

we've got this ..... spicy beef

floss which is really nice, this is

lovely eh! l Iike this

Oh and it's spicy as well eh under here the base

so is that the mango....its Banh Trang.....Banh Trang this ......

ok so this... oh that beef is lovely

this is the Banh Trang

and no, no noodle.. it is sort of like a

stretch, like a noodle like a rice noodle

here. so this is the Banh Trang. It's nice..... Banh Trang Tron

its like a, like a mix

salad, vegetables, its quite nice......green mango I think and

some papaya and a little bit of spice

and then on top they put up the beef

floss.... a little bit by spicy

couple of quail eggs......

they're lovely yeah.... So on the corner of

the street here, you've got the very famous and

popular Pho 10 but I really like the

Com Pho, this one just here. Now the

spring rolls in Hanoi are fantastic

and we want to try both the fried spring

rolls and the fresh spring rolls. This

place looks as good as any it looked

delicious. We actually came passed here

last night and a lot of people were

eating, these tables were completely full.

We've come a little bit earlier today so

we can get in before the crowds come and

I reckon these are going to be

absolutely delicious. There look at these

beautiful fresh spring rolls, they've got

the chicken inside, maybe pull up with

lovely herbs and plated a little bit of

salad sand springs in there. You dip it

in the little it's sort of like a fish

sauce not very spicy.

oh that is so good, beautiful, aromatic

like no little greasy

okay now by comparison these are the

fried spring rolls and this is a pork

fried spring roll, lovely crispy texture

comes with a little bit of salad and

some herbs here on the side. Again we've

got the sauce, similar sort of fish

sauce, just a light refreshing sauce I'm

going to take my spring roll and just

dip it in the sauce, here goes.

Delicious not to greasy

you get the Pork in that it's not as

light and refreshing as the the fresh

spring roll but I still absolutely

love it. We'll just take a little bit of

this Fresh salad as well,

coriander I love coriander. Now the

doughnut fresh off the streets, the lady

here is cooking them up, they're

absolutely gorgeous. Now unlike the ones

that are being handed out around the old

town which have been on those baskets

all day, these are lovely and fresh, give

it a try Oh

delicious, the oil is slightly savoury, not

super sweet, you've got the Sesame on

there, you've got the beautiful little

donut now also inside the donut there's

like a white bean paste, it's slightly

sweetened almost vanilla flavor. Another

great advantage of these little Donuts

are they are gluten-free as well and this

being a cooking channel more than the

travel channel we will be covering these

donut as a recipe on steve's kitchen at

a later date. It's amazing there's a

constant flow of people coming up to the

store, picking up donuts on the back of

their scooters and off they go and a few

seconds later another one appears. Now

we've been recommended to a place and

this isn't a place where you'll find any

tourists as well and I think sometimes

it's good to get off the beaten track

and try something very local. I hope I

don't spoil this by sharing with you

this place is called Quan Sam and I'm not

sure if i pronounced that right

Obviously they do unifor barbecue it's

shut at the moment but I've got some

nice footage from last night to share

with you.....good ....it's good .....yeah food is

good .11 fam fan Sam yeah good strain d

we just we just met the one of the guys

from here.... is it your your restaurant?

you're you're the boss.... yeah.... okay so this

is the guy that owns this restaurant, we

had fantastic food here the other night

and we will be back .....thank you ....yes one of

the great things the smoky BBQ in here

is so good you are going to come away

with your clothes absolutely stinking of

BBQ but great memories.

Now this little Bun Cha was

recommended to me by a youtuber actually

as I thought I was looking here in

Vietnam it's got a great little YouTube

channel is called Pho your eyes only.

the beautiful thing about this Bun Cha

is that they're actually doing the pork

on the open coals and they use these,

the bamboo little pegs to hold the

meat in place I think it's gorgeous look at

the little charring on here this is pork

belly it's got a beautiful beautiful

texture. Now I'm going to try just the

belly on itself, just shape photos we've

got all that more would charm in the

Pope jar in there so we've got a

gorgeous clear broth. Now the idea is with

Bun Cha unlike the Pho, you take

down your fresh noodles, beautiful fresh

rice noodles, pop them in in with your

sauce in with your build.prop take some

of these high gamma ideals plan at this

point the ladies just brought out a

little plate by Presley frighten them

these are like a little spring roll

square spring roll packed full of

vegetables and pork and all sorts of

great flavors but this great big plate

here of salads, coriander salad there's

mint in here, bean sprouts as well. I'm

going to pop this in with my broth let

it just wilt down, if you like a little

bit of chili in there oxygen on top

given a little mix through. I'm in bun cha

heaven. Let's go with this spicy

coriander tastes absolutely delicious

get a little bit of pork belly as well

this is real Bun Cha, real full

flavored delicious sponge are all the

details will be on steve's kitchen com

on the website so that fantastic Bun Cha

if you want to find it it's just

next to the the Wolfhound pub and Phat

Loc the end of the lane here fantastic

Bun Cha really delicious. Now on to

something else okay I'm going to have

the, this is the guy and she'll tell me

the guy that helps instead of this last

time the chesh so first of all he's

going to take a fresh coconut and he's

just taking the top off now for some

reason this time he's given me the

coconut water he didn't do that last

time but maybe it's because I'm a

regular now. Now firstly he's filling the

inside the coconut ice cream putting a

little bit of shredded coconut in the

center and then ebook just beautiful

swirl of ice cream on top in goes some

pieces of jackfruits a little more

shredded coconut and then some pieces of

the beautiful toasted coconut thank you

so get the nice photo so here it is that

was beautiful doesn't matter beautiful

I'm saving the coconut water for

Michelle I'm just going to get some of

this stuff I want some of that toasted

coconut

here we go

sweet gold delicious of the middle

jackfruit in here

it'll be to the jackfruit a little bit

of toasted coconut yeah when you've

finished pay the old lady's set on the

opposite side of the street she is the

cashier gamma thank you I though that

was our chosen ice cream on hotel street

fantastic great and the girls that we

actually better just coming down here

that what the chance is really I think

I've just had one so what is the chance

is that we've bumped into a couple of

girls that we met this morning when we

were having bunch are on toast we told

them to have the ice cream on the street

and they come over to try it as well it

was superb absolutely gorgeous so

onwards to something new now in every

city you visit in the world there's

going to come a time when you just need

a little bit of comfort food

now this lady I mean probably equipment

of a KSP here and all simple so very

inventive but the rhythm right here are

really good so I would put on a list of

my stock through panels even though it's

not really a traditional style food it's

good evening come on let's go inside now

the first thing they're going to do is

bring you out a little bowl of broth

with some vegetables spring greens in it

now in some inspectors can be a little

too purpose but it's a very people

now they brought out my ribs here look

how beautiful these ribs are I've got

three pieces of pork red button fried

rice a little bit of pickled cabbage

anthem vegetables ok let's get this

bride ride for dry ok

because simple fried rice great flavor

and we've got the gorgeous ribs here

medicals chicky came to pull pulled off

the bone now there is great food here in

Hanoi and a street food is to die for

just occasionally old style ribs and

rice there be details on my website if

you want to take the food tools from the

speed kitchen website of time but a mac

there a connoisseur so that you can see

where we think get a clock share the

love give this two thumbs up and I will

see you in the next video right there if

How to plan a trip to Japan - Duration: 13:03.

Hi, I'm Nathan (Ninja Monkey) and today

I want to talk to you about

how to plan that perfect trip to Japan, what you need to do

Step by step the way that I do it when I plan my trip to Japan. So stick with me!

So the very first thing that you need to do is decide on what type of trip you want

Do you want to be traveling in your own, do you want to be traveling with a friend, or do you want to be traveling as part of a group?

The very first time that I went to Japan I actually joined a tour group and it was fantastic

It meant that I didn't have to worry about anything. I just followed the rest of the group

I was a little bit of a lemming,

I Just kind of went along with what everybody else was doing

and that meant that I had peace of mind throughout the whole trip

I actually traveled with insidejapantours and they were pretty good, brilliant infact.

I had a blast and that was my basically my maiden voyage into the land of the rising sun

so if you're a little bit worried that have been worried about

Traveling around an Asian country with a completely different culture

with a completely different language then my suggestion is

that you do find a tour operator and just join their tour because you're going to probably end up visiting most of the hot spots

and you're probably going to have a great time

but

if you want to travel on your own

Japan is perfect for that also, if you're going to travel on your own or travel with a friend

Then don't worry Japan is really friendly Japan is really easy to move around

so stick to some of these tips that might help you out,

Okay, so one of the first things that you really need to do is decide

When are you going to travel?

Japan is a perfect country to travel any season say it be winter spring autumn or summer

it doesn't really matter, each season is going to give you a different style and different type of trip.

Wherever it is just go and do it because Japan is awesome any time of the year

Now once you decided when you're going to go to Japan my suggestion

Is that you put yourself a flight because once you've got that flight booked. There's no turning back

It's happening, and that's when the journey really start, now before you do that my suggestion

Is that you look at dates very carefully because you could save a lot of money if your book perhaps ...

a flight leaving a few days later,

a flight leaving maybe a day or two earlier. You could make great savings, so try to be flexible with a dates.

And you might find a better deal

Okay, and once you know how

Long you're going to be traveling for then that's when the journey begins

Get yourself an itinerary Sorted, now my suggestion

And it's what I always tell people is start with tokyo end with tokyo

A Tokyo Sandwich is awesome because it means that when you get to Japan

you settle into Tokyo you have a few days to get over your jet lag and

then at the end of the trip when you travel around Japan you get back to Tokyo you can relax it a little bit before

You head back home. So that's my suggestion get yourself a piece of paper

Write every single day that you have available

so write

The 12th, 13th, 14th, 15th, 16th, 17th of July for example etc and then

Start thinking of an itinerary, write down the locations that you 're going to be going to, next to that list basically.

and start with Tokyo at the beginning

and Tokyo at the end, filling in the gaps.

Now my suggestion is that you check out some websites such as hyperdia.com

or even Google Maps

Because that's going to give you a really good idea of how long those journeys are going to be to those locations

how much those journeys are going to cost

and weather or not it's worth doing your trip in that order, you might find that

When you start looking at hyperdia or

Google maps you might find that you decide to get rid of some destination, this happened to me in the past

Or you might find that

you will reshuffle your itinerary all together to make a difference more efficient itinerary, so check that out

It's really going to help you out

So once you've got your itinerary sorted my suggestion is that you go onto a website that allows you to cancel your reservation

Such as booking.com is just an example

With booking.com I usually go on there

Search for hotels, book my hotels and then at a later date

review what I have booked

and if I need to cancel I do, in fact sometimes I even come up with two different .. two different itineraries

Bookings for those two itineraries and later on when Im closer to the trip I will decide which one

I'm going to go for and cancel the rest

So that's just a suggestion you probably save some money also

if you frequently look at the website, you'll probably find a cheaper hotel

or maybe find the same hotel, but even cheaper as there might be a deal

So keep an eye out on those websites, and you could save some money there also.

So this is a big one

You've probably heard about Japan rail pass a million times and by now you probably have done a lot of research

This is probably not the first video that you've seen, but this is a Japan rail pass!

This is what's going to save you a lot of money

It was going to make your trip in Japan a breeze, its whats going to make all the locals jealous.

the Japan Rail pass is something that you must look into and that you must research.

Basically my suggestion is that you use a website such as hyperdia.com to cost out how much

all the train Journeys would cost without the Japan rail pass and

Then check out how much the Japan rail pass would cost you, for example for a week or for two weeks and probably you'll find

The Japan rail pass is actually going to be a lot cheaper, and it's going to save you a lot of money, so .. Japan Rail Pass

Look something like that

really really worth it, basically you just wait at the gate and you can use all the JR trains including the

Shinkansen, the fast and trains and

it is a godsend

Just one thing about the Japan rail pass, and that is that you do need to

Purchase this outside of Japan before you get to Japan. You cannot get this in Japan

So if you decide that you want to go for the Japan Rail Pass you must do that

before you leave ok? ok so another big one .. pocket wifi.

and no I did not not steal this pocket Wi-Fi from Japan.

I just happen to have bought one because I find this very useful for traveling in general

Pocket Wi-Fi is basically a little device like this

That gives you wi-Fi, you just put it in your bag or in your pocket

and basically it will give you wi-Fi wherever you go now in Japan.

thats extremely useful because believe it or not, Japan is not really the most

Wi-Fi Friendly country in the world. You will find Wi-Fi in your hotel room, hotel Lobby ETC but once you are there

not many Cafeterias or restaurants have wifi

So this might get you out of a pickle every now and then, for example you want to find some

route using Google Maps

Pocket Wi-Fi will save your life

You want something translated, you can use Google translate thanks to pocket wi-Fi. This has allowed me to do research

When Im at a temple, I want to find out a bit more about the temple

I just go into my phone and there I am, I know all about the temple, and it makes it so much better

so Pocket Wi-Fi

Once again, there are two ways of doing this. You can purchase your own device and put a sim card in there

you can buy the sim card from the airport if you want to or

In the past I've used a really great service called the pupuru

and you purchased that before you

eave on your trip and you can have it delivered to your hotel room, when you get to your hotel room

It's there waiting for you you use it and then at the end of the trip you just put it in an envelope

Give it to the hotel receptionist

hotel reception, to post and

No hassle

But easy peasy, so I really suggest pocket wi-Fi will make your trip so much better.

Ok and now.. the important thing is research, now by now you have your itinerary sorted

you've you've got your pocket

Wi-Fi booked, your japan rail pass is in the post on the way to you and you've got your flight. You're really excited

You're about to go to this awesome amazing country, but what are you gonna do when you get there?

What are you going to do in all those places that you've been planning for?

That's why you need to go to the bit of research, and what I like to do

Personally is, I like to come up with three four or five

Places that I want to visit in each location.

So let's say let's say I'm going to go to takayama

a town, a city in Japan

I would have already researched three or four main things to see in takayama, and

When I'm there I see those cool things

But then I probably have extra time to do things at a lighter pace

So that's what I tend to do, so do your research and also check out if there are any tech specialist

dishes, food that you can try in these locations, so for example. I know that in

In Takayama, the last time. I went I had some horse sashimi which was quite

interesting and I also had and some bee larvae in

Like honey, it was quite ... actually in soy sauce. It was it was quite interesting, but once again

I did my research I checked out what the specialist

dishes were and I tried them out. So that's something that you should definitely do.

I'm getting to the end of the video, if you are still here. Thank you very much

I hope these tips are really useful. Please get in contact with me if you need any extra help,

Comment below, I will try to reply if I can.

but just one more thing, actually two more things and that is

Exchange your cash before you go to Japan, because probably the airport is going to be a lot more expensive

than getting it at a bank or an exchange Bureau where you live.

Also bear in mind that Japan is really quite a cash society unless you go to a department store

Where they will take your credit card

Then you probably won't be able to purchase much and in smaller stores.

So take all your spending money with you before you get there and don't forget that sometimes you need to

book those yen in Advance.

you might want to do that a few weeks before you actually go on the trip. Yeah, so that's another tip that I

Really recommend you follow!

and finally my final tip is for you to take photos and

digitize all your important documents

Passports, Travel insurance

bookings Etc.

reservations, make photos, make a digital

Copy and send an email to yourself or put it somewhere in the cloud because if something was to happen,

If you were to lose you passport for example

Then you have quick easy access to your passport number, you have quick easy access to your insurance

documents, if anything was to happen to you.

So that is a very valuable tip, thankfully I haven't had to actually resort to any of my backed up

documents, but I recommend that you do that if you can. I hope the video has been useful.

I just talked to you about how I plan my trips to Japan

I haven't really gone into tips for what to do when you're in Japan

Maybe I'll talk about that in the future, but I hope you've enjoyed my video

Please give it a BIG thumbs up, please subscribe

if you haven't already, for more tips about Japan check out some of my previous videos

Check out some of my videos about some of the places that I visited, maybe you want to visit those places too.

Japan is awesome, Japan is full of awesome cities, full of awesome towns

Don't stick to just Tokyo. Go and explore. So thumbs up, subscribe

And let me know what you think about the video. See you next time guys!

You are ready for the first picture, aren´t you?

We are ready.

If you are ready we´ll take the sound.

Rolling.

Camera.

Camera rolling.

And music, please.

In this production I have written the script. I am also working as a director for this film.

The scriptwriting process for this movie has been really heavy.

I don´t see myself as a screenwriter.

I am a director first so it was a big step for me to sit down and write a script.

I knew already quite early on that film was my thing.

In the beginning I was mostly interesting in camerawork.

Then I realised quite quickly that there are a lot of other things going in as well.

In high school I already started to take some media classes from other schools.

I found the Indiefilm class through my study supervisor.

He knew the class and proposed that I could apply after high school.

Then I got a mail or was it a letter that I had been accepted and that made me very happy.

I was already worried that I would end up with a year with nothing to do.

So it made me very happy.

Then the studies started.

It was a very efficient beginning.

There was some theory but very quickly we started to make films.

Thats how one learns.

It was like, vow, how many projects we ended up doing in a year.

We did a lot o different things.

We made promotional video, shorts film, documentary, we did a lot of different things.

We had the possibility to do as much as we wanted.

I have had use for everything I learned when my studies started here at the university of Applied Sciences.

You can not work as a director if you don´t see the whole picture.

I need to know what my director of photography does.

I need to know what my sound guy does, and I need to know what the producers do.

I need to understand the whole process.

At the indiefillm class I could try out how the whole process unfolds.

If I wanted to, I could be sound, if I wanted to I could be the editor and I could get an understanding how the production works.

As a director I need to understand what everybody in the production team does. That I definitely learned there.

To learn how to edit is also something I have had very much use of.

I learned how to use Avid, that is used at the university of applied science where I am know.

I have had a lot of use of actually understanding the basics of how editing works.

I really got a fantastic base from the class.

My suggestion to a person who wants to get into the film business is to start with a course where you get the whole picture.

That is something you really get at the indie film course. There you get to see how everything works.

HS: but are we battling against each other?

SC: I think its not a battle...

JH: how about we divide into two teams of going to saloon?

WW: but we saw each other faces too much if its like that, its boring

WW: lets just divide by rock, paper, scissor

SC: but if its like that it will not mix the member

JH: can't we battle with hyung vs donsaeng?

WW: I think it will be fun like that

T8: I think that's great

[everyone agree with 'hyung team vs dongsaeng team']

JH: then it will be 95z, 96z and 97z, 98z 99z

[team division complete!]

[hyung team: J, JS, JH, WW, WZ, SC, HS] [dongsaeng team: DK, DN, MG, T8, SK, VN]

JS: they will crawl like ant

[2nd stage election of leader]

T8: I'm awake, I'm awake

MG: I'm awake too

DK: wake up, wake up and stand up

DK: are you not gonna listen to the leader's word?

MG/T8: why are waking up so early

[#insignificant #this_is #dongsaeng_team_leader's_road]

[the moment the new leader is selected]

[at the speed of light, authority move!]

[the leader is the king]

[greeting to the great king S.Coups]

[the member's loyalty...] [the sweet taste of authority]

[who are the one that dare to throw snowball at the leader]

[you know your own sin!]

[I have comitted a deadly sin]

[the leader can have absolute power all day]

[the crew will not be responsible for the aftermath of leader retirement]

DK: the leader will pick their own team item carrier through the game of leader election

DK: but, the selection of carrier will be first come first served basis

JH: the item carrier is important then now

[leader election game method]

[1. shake the box on the waist that contained balls with member's name and the name that come out will be the leader]

[2. the team that pop out the ball first will be given the right to choose first]

JH: the item carrier is important now

[if we are gonna talk about the item carrier...]

[to leave vacation's precious memory, camera]

[essential item for performing quests, tablet pc]

[to record the day of the leader, diary]

[leader's emergency game money, 60,000 yen]

[two team attitude toward game money] [big spender vs small spender]

SC: I will treat the members refreshment

[paying with game money, taste so sweet]

JH: eat everything, I will buy for all the staff too!

JH: pick everything that you want to eat

SC: chose, choose

[spending a large amount, hyung team!]

MG: because we have to save money as much as possible,

T8: yesterday, we don't spend any money right~

DN: hyung, lets just buy one doll

DK: it's a little expensive than I thought, 1400 yen

[idol that calculate whether its cheap or expensive upon hearing the price]

[the game money are very precious to dongsaeng team]

[the hidden item that decide the vacation route!]

[the two team's fate depend on the hidden item!]

[pleasure]

[or frustration]

[between hell and heaven] [item carrier that decide the 13 boys' fate]

[item carrier... is it a mischief of fate?!] [heaven vs hell vacation]

HS: what is that!

HS: what is that? That hell vacation (tag)

WW: are we getting hell vacation

WW: then the dongsaeng team is heaven?

[we are heventeen that have come to haven]

[still smiling even if getting hit by snowball]

[still smiling even if they fall]

[world's happiest]

[a terrible scream coming from hell]

SC: let's go x3

J: isn't it hell because of this shoes

[this is truly one fine day]

[pure white snowy field!] [the viewer also took heaven trip]

[walking in the middle of nowhere to hell]

SC: the fog is so thick there

[hell appearance that invite goosebumps]

[even the blizzard weather is hell]

WW: now I know why it say hell

SC: its really hell here!!

[their fate at these two fork road is?]

T8: ah, what is this? I'm feeling uneasy

MG: ah, its scary, scary

[please pick a representative to play leader election game]

SK: firstly, 97z Mingyu from dongsaeng team

SC: our team, 95z Jeonghan

DK: Mingyu, Jeonghan/ SK: oh, Mingyu, Jeonghan is arch enemy though

[a match between arch enemy from the start]

SC: personally, because Jeonghan is lucky in game, which one give a nice feeling?

JH: I was thinking of the blue one

DK: the red one does not give a good feeling

MG: we, let's just live according the flow

VN: that's right, I was gonna say the same thing

[the fate of the 12 boys depend on the pelvis of these two]

DK: 1,2,3!

[Jeonghan who pop out the ball first]

[shortly afterward, Mingyu too success!]

[13 boys vacation tycoon, each team leader is?]

MG: its me

JH: it's me

[Jeonghan quickly pick the blue one!]

SK: really? please confirm it

[like a lie, these two people that pick themselves]

[this is what we called drama without scripts]

SC: in my heart the leader is always Jeonghan

JH: wait, I think there's something good!

[plane ticket?!]

[really?]

[then for us...?]

[then inside the dongsaeng team carrier?]

[shinkansen ticket]

SK: for some its plane ticket, for some its train?!

['hyung team' plane ticket vs 'dongsaeng team' shinkansen ticket]

-in Tokyo, Haneda? Haneda?

-is this the destination?/ -yes Akita

SK: what time is the plane?

-its 7:50 A.M

[13 boys vacation tycoon will officially start in a short while!]

DK: its gonna be fun though/ T8: that's right. I think its gonna be fun

[questionable dog bark heard from somewhere]

-a message had arrived, lets check it

MG: I wonder what is it

JH: [hello nice to meet you]

JH: [from now, I will guide you on your wonderful journey]

[mr lee bo gae unexpected way of talking

JH: I am reading this its weird

JH: [now~ are you ready?]

-yes~

JH: then listen to me well and follow me

JH: tomorrow morning, find the place in the picture and take the same picture

[the place that seventeen has to find!]

[the thing given to the two team are only tickets]

[get all the way to the quest place using any method]

[the first team that that took a proof photo win!]

[there's a rumor that a tremendous benefits will be given to the winner]

MG: I wonder where is this

SK : Akita is a country of snow but its too different...

T8/ MG: rooftop?

WW: its basement the way I see it

DK: I don't think its basement

WW: its basement the way I see it, its basement

HS: ah, I hope the dongsaeng will arrived safely

JH: but honestly doesn't hyung team has to win?

[for what reason?]

SK: play well, eat well too. arrived safely with that spirit

SK: we only going to thought about your health

WW: we can feel your feelings

MG: tonight I will search about this place a bit

JH: with many searching, while using our brain, we will quickly take the picture and win

T8: lastly, how about we say fighting

-lets shake Seventeen's one fine day boom boom

JH: don't expect too much, you will feel upset if you lose

MG: Jeonghan hyung lke this kind of game and like to compete so

MG: I have thought that he will progress systematically

MG: Mingyu can think very well so

MG: I think he will move very fast

JH: I think we have a great chance since we are boarding the plane

[Tokyo dorm]

DK: leader~

MG: will the hyung team leader think of this?

DK: hyung team leader are not having this thought

[ming-daejang that brought a fair amount of cup noodle]

DK: leader~ is no joke

MG : what is travelling?

MG: preparation

MG: holding this bag while moving, if we are hungry, we are not going to spend any money

DK: that's right, we have to save as much as possible since we have to survive until the end

[good chemistry]

MG: I think I can't sleep well. Do you know how to get there by the subway?

DK: that's why we have to search it all

DK: you have to search for that, leader

MG: I really don't want to do this... go call The8

DK: I will bring The8 here

DK: leader, I have bring The8

MG: if we are in Akita prefecture, I think we can find it quickly but we don't know how to get there

T8: I have search about that a while ago

T8: from here, we can go straight there

DK: we have to go to the nearest subway station, its shinkansen station right?

MG: shinkansen station itself is how do I say,/ DK: Gangnam station?

MG: not that station, like ktm, there is this station and that station shinkansen is also like that. We are searching that nearest station

MG: have Jeoghan hyung found everything?

[at the same time, the leader of hyung team...]

JH: coups-ya go there and bring a yogurt

S.coups that has become a mild sheep

SC: leader, there's no straw?!

JH: then you have go down get it

SC: I really have to get it?

JH: because pulling this carrier around is an important mission, I will let you be in charge

SC: yes?

JH: I appoint you

[from today, the man who pull the carrier, S,coups]

[I appoint you as the carrier fairy]

JH: how do we go to Haneda airport?

JH: first, we don't knoww how to get there, lets just go first. The method is the problem

JH: I already ask before coming here

SC: ah really?

JH: the most comfortable method to go from here they say

JH: we have to search for Shinbashi station

JH: from here we take a taxi to Shinbashi station. We just have to 'shinbashi eki onegaishimasu'

JH: meaning please take us to Shinbashi station

JH: then we can go straight to Haneda airport

JH: the most comfortable method is to search for Shin..

JH: what station do I say just now?

SC: I have no idea too

SC: what's wrong with your memorizing ability ㅎㅎㅎㅎ

[indeed, could hyung team board the plane...?]

SC: but, shouldn't we find something about the quest place?

JH: the place? its not going to come out even if we want to search for it

JH: we have to go out and directly ask

JH: I will just stay still, you guys search for it

JH: the leader is me

SC: that's right x2

[burden hundredfold!] [seventeen that are left behind in Tokyo]

[game or what, 13 boys that are excited]

SK: ah, I want to go to the department store

SK : ah, Mingyu hyung I really want to go to the store

MG: why are they like that I wonder?

DK: originally, we have to travel while eating

VN: should we buy something warm like steamed bun?

SK: buy us steamed buns~~

DK: leader, I want to eat this one

DK: sora bread/ VN: me too~/ DK: chocolate sora bread/ VN: oh, me too

MG: I don't mind if you wanna eat here, but in Tokyo if you saw anything delicious you are not going to eat right?

DK: if its like that we have to eat again

DK: because food is love~

MG: it wasn't supposed to be like this...

MG: how much is it? (in Japanese)

SK: the leader bought us breads~~

SK: we received so many threat just to buy this bread

DK: what a cool leader he is

MG: ah, its really tiring, from the morning really

MG: we are taking this side~

MG: so the writers really do not know the way~

DN: only you know the way right now

MG: wait, I'm the only one who knew?

DN: only you know/ T8: right now, all the people are following you

MG: so that the staff who are always with us will not encounter any problem, we will try to take the right way only

SK: leader~

DK: leader~ I'm thirsty now that I had eaten the bread

SK: I'm thirsty~/ DK: I'm thirsty~~~

SK: we cannot be thirsty since we are main vocals~

MG: is it delicious?

SK: so delicious

DK: but really, since we are traveling just between us

DK: I really want us to travel like this just between us

DN: this is the first time we gather like this right

VN: not even once we go out like this just between us(dongaseng)

SK: we have to heal ourselves today members!

SK: please turn on <healing> bgm

SK: throw your body into the ocean of rest, you can take a break (healing lyrics)

[unfamiliar country, unknown journey] [but it will be a great trip if its with the members]

SK: we had arrived

DK: wah, its so big

[5.30 A.M. at Tokyo dorm]

JH: we are leaving the hotel now

HS: how about we don't take a taxi but ride the staff's car instead?

JH: can we just start going?

SC: there is no something(number) exit here. How about you say 'please take us to Shinbashi station' and we will follow you

JH: just say 'please follow this car' like that (JH ask SC to say this in Japanese)

SC: how do I say 'please follow this car'?

[do it like this! like this!]

[Jeonghan is splitting them to take the taxi]

JH: please take us to Shinbashi station

JH: but this is really a battle

JH: if we lose, its not gonna be good I think

WW: if this is tycoon, there will definitely be a reward

WW: for a game, it will be fine if we just win!

SC: but for me, I think that side team will never lose in any game

[bluffing]

[hyung team has no mercy in front of victory]

SC: they buy it too quickly

[a war without blood or tears start!]

[when it does not work, use power!] [power-coups summon]

[the prelude of the fierce competitions open!]

[where is our Woozi...]

[from the start, a member will be left behind!?]

WZ: do we have to go through the station?

WZ: where do we have to go...

MG: we can just buy the tickets right?

[the further the station, the price also increase]

MG: we are going with 170

[complete buying ticket smoothly!]

DK: ah, the leader is so trustworthy

MG: to the direction of Gasmigaseki(?) station!

MG: at Sadang station, there is line toward Isu and Namtaeryeong(?) right

MG: thhere is that ine right, if we took the wrong direction, it will be troublesome

MG: from here, we can just go in the direction toward Gasmigaseki

DN: seeing Mingyu hyung knowing all that by himself, I'm so amazed

DN: wah, how did he thought like that?

DK: I think he show his cool side as a leader

MG: its 37 minute now, by 41 minute, the train will come

MG: let's take some polaroid picture

SK: its Seventeen first entrance to the subway

[Ming-daejang is in alert state so that they will not miss their destination!]

[uncommon early dawn, in an unfamiliar place...] [how did I become alone...]

WZ: where is this?

WZ: I become absolutely blank, I don't even know what should I do

SC: should we decide how to divide for the taxi?

JH: one member will have to ride with the staff they say

WZ: should I ride with the staff

[this is the story how he came alone...]

[Woozi who seems to be exceptionally nervous]

WZ: especially when we go overseas, I just stay at the hotel

WZ: I have never gone out to any places before

WZ: I don't even know what should I do

WZ: its really a mess inside my mind

WZ: it was really crowded

[on the other hand]

[they have long forgotten Woozi] [the only thing inside their mind is only about the game!]

[lets just enjoy first]

[what's the use of reading all the sign]

[at this point you have to ask for help...]

WZ: I am really shy in nature, so toward passerby

WZ: I cannot say something like excuse me

[the shy woozi can only depend on...]

[only the staff]

WZ: the PD is the one who ask the passerby

staff: it seem like we have come to the opposite side

WZ: I keep searching for the cameramen near the place

WZ: Oh, I found them

[finally discovering the members!?]

[these people are still like this...]

[seeing the welcoming backside of the members...]

[for those who desperately search for me] [silently approaching]

[however,] [as if nothing change they are being happy]..

SC: oh he's here

WZ: I'm relieved I found them fast, but its not obvious

J: you don't check the time before?

SC: we are doomed

[ah... please say this is a dream...]

JH: at that time I thought 'we pick the wrong one'

JH: because while the dongsang team is taking a 4 hour ride by shinkansen

JH: but we have to keep moving

JH: I thought that this is not just about comfortability

JH: is it here?

[hyung team tablet PC] [was left on the bag and baggage section in Akita airpport]

SC: then when we arrived we cannot find it (the place)

JH: why?/ SC: we have to communicate but there is no translator

[tablet PC that can't be seen however you search..]

[after 20 minutes, just board the bus and its our destination!]

MG: from Akita station its 20 minutes by car. We have to take the bus

DK: try checking how km its take

[on the other hand,] [the hyung team wait for the bus leisurely]

[while they are laughing...]

[Woozi sensed something]

Tutorial - Notepad Cover + Easy Die Cutting Tip - Duration: 4:54.

Hi! I'm Susana from Pink & Fun

and I today I'll recreate a project that had already done

but I now will add a funny technique, using a cutting die

So, I will use a "Post It" pad

with 7.5 cm x 7.5 cm

and cardstock with 19 cm x 8.5 cm

I will crease at 8, 9 and 10 cm

then I will fold the creases

Now, I'll fold the middle crease

make a small mark at 3 cm on each side

and trim those marks, avoiding cut the crease

like this...

Now I will turn it to the opposite side

fold one cover to one side,

the other to the other side

and pushing the middle piece out

On the larger side, I will apply some double-sided tape on both centerpieces

and paste

Now, we just need to attach the notepad

and embellish

I've cut scrapbooking paper with 7.5 cm x 8 cm

and I'll adhere it to the cover

I've cut another scrap of paper,

with 7 cm x 7.5 cm

and I'll draw a pencil line at 3.5 cm

I will use a die from this set of La Pareja Creativa

I'll use this large and intrincate butterfly

but I'll show you quickly

the other dies from the set

So I will use the line as a guide

to center the die in the middle of the paper

I will use "post its" notes with repositionable adhesive to keep it in place

and will die cut using the Sizzix Big Shot

Because I want a partial cut

I will assemble the acrylic cutting pad just to where I want to cut

In this case it is to the butterfly wing end

so I will leave about 2 or 3mm up to pencil line traced

This step is very important because I do not want to cut the butterfly completely

I'll turn it

and do exactly the same on the other side

As you can see,

the butterfly was only partially cut

and now i'll atttach it to the notepad cover

I' ve cut a flower from the strawberries set

I will make a hole in the center,

apply a brad

and paste it to the butterfly

Insert a pen and it's ready!

I hope you enjoyed this video,

please share it in your social networks to help me spread the channel,

thank you for watching,

Kisses and see you next time!

How To Add New Fish | नया फिश कैसे डाले टैंक मे | The Indian Fishkeeper - Duration: 3:16.

Hello friends. Welcome to THE INDIAN FISHKEEPER channel.

Today we will talk about a fish acclimation process. How to add a new fish in your tank.

This is a very important activity as the water in your tank is different from the water at your local fish store like different temperature and PH.

These factors stresses the fish out.

That is why we need to follow acclimation process to to eliminate or decrease the stress

As you can see i have bought this new Discus fish which looks very stressed

First turn off the fish tank lights

Then keep the bag in tank floating on water for 5 mins

After that open the bag and pour a cup of tank water in the bag. Do this after every 5 mins three times.

Now take the fish out of the bag and put it in the tank.

Make sure that bag water should not go in the tank.

This new fish is looking very stressed but the fish will be normal in few more minutes.

Keep the lights off and don't feed for next 12 hrs.

Tutorial - Notepad Cover + Easy Die Cutting Tip - Duration: 4:54.

Hi! I'm Susana from Pink & Fun

and I today I'll recreate a project that had already done

but I now will add a funny technique, using a cutting die

So, I will use a "Post It" pad

with 7.5 cm x 7.5 cm

and cardstock with 19 cm x 8.5 cm

I will crease at 8, 9 and 10 cm

then I will fold the creases

Now, I'll fold the middle crease

make a small mark at 3 cm on each side

and trim those marks, avoiding cut the crease

like this...

Now I will turn it to the opposite side

fold one cover to one side,

the other to the other side

and pushing the middle piece out

On the larger side, I will apply some double-sided tape on both centerpieces

and paste

Now, we just need to attach the notepad

and embellish

I've cut scrapbooking paper with 7.5 cm x 8 cm

and I'll adhere it to the cover

I've cut another scrap of paper,

with 7 cm x 7.5 cm

and I'll draw a pencil line at 3.5 cm

I will use a die from this set of La Pareja Creativa

I'll use this large and intrincate butterfly

but I'll show you quickly

the other dies from the set

So I will use the line as a guide

to center the die in the middle of the paper

I will use "post its" notes with repositionable adhesive to keep it in place

and will die cut using the Sizzix Big Shot

Because I want a partial cut

I will assemble the acrylic cutting pad just to where I want to cut

In this case it is to the butterfly wing end

so I will leave about 2 or 3mm up to pencil line traced

This step is very important because I do not want to cut the butterfly completely

I'll turn it

and do exactly the same on the other side

As you can see,

the butterfly was only partially cut

and now i'll atttach it to the notepad cover

I' ve cut a flower from the strawberries set

I will make a hole in the center,

apply a brad

and paste it to the butterfly

Insert a pen and it's ready!

I hope you enjoyed this video,

please share it in your social networks to help me spread the channel,

thank you for watching,

Kisses and see you next time!

VIETNAMESE STREET FOOD TOUR in Hanoi - TOP 10 HANOI STREET FOODS - Duration: 16:58.

Hi and a huge welcome to Steve's kitchen

We're in Hanoi, got all the bikes around

it is crazy in the city. I'm going to

take you out on the street tonight and

we're going to try 10 of the best Hanoi

street food, probably from a tourist

perspective. I'm actually going to be

doing another video later, on secret food

in Hanoi, so watch out for that video and

we're also going to be doing Sweet Treats. So

for now let's get out on the street of

old Hanoi City and taste obviously

the Pho of course and we're having bun Cha

which is a similar sort of dish but a

little different and we won't be

forgetting just here, where I'm going to

start this tour up with a Banh My, it's

like a French bread stick, it's very

French influence as well, they often put

the pate inside and a forced meat, come

on let's start with Banh My. Can I have

the roast chicken? yeah. So I'm going

to have this Banh My. The lady's.... now I

love the way they open these up with the

scissors, they cut them open rather than

slice them, quite practical I suppose.

So we've got a nice pate going on there

first but whether you ask for it

we're going to get that pate. I would

not have it. Oh no thats chicken....You asked

for chicken. Oh Yeah Chicken.

25 so it's 25,000 dong which is about in

Australian about a dollar fifty, probably

a little bit less in US. Now they're

filling that up with salads but also

something that really give this great

flavor, the coriander. So I've got my roast

chicken in there, I've got all those

lovely flavours that Pate as well.

I can tell you, it smells delicious. Tastes

fantastic, the pate is fresh and delicious, the

chicken is gorgeous and tender, then you've

got that coriander and salad in there, this

is so good. The reason I like this place is

I think the pate is better than a lot of

places. I will leave it on my tour guide

down below, lets get on. Now here in Hanoi

you'll find the streets are divided up into

districts of similar themes. We're on

Hang Bo at the moment and this street is

all haberdashery, you've got ribbons

you've got beads, labels, anything you want

to do with haberdashery. All the shops

down here will be selling a similar

theme and that is the same with the food

in Hanoi as well. Chances are if you find

a street that has great Street food its

neighbors and all the way down the

street will also have fantastic street

food. Time for some Pho, we've come to

a little place just around the corner

from where we're staying Pho Ga, so it's

on 7th Dinh Liet street. I'll try and get

the right pronunciation. is this kaffir

oh no lemon leaf, lemon leaf

thank you 'cảm ơn' beautiful. The ladies

sorting me out some beautiful chicken, we've

just tried..... they've got the lemon leaves....

I don't think it's kaffir lime leaves

it's a little softer, we've got the

spring onions sliced up, definitely going

to be some coriander in there as well

I'm really looking forward to this one

it looks really fresh and crisp. Lets wait for it to

be bought out. Four on a bike just

pulled up nicely

So you can see all the herbs on top of that

pot, pick yourself out out some communal

chopsticks. Now look we've got all the

beautiful shredded chicken on here, we've

got some little spring onions that have

been sliced up, we have some chives and

we've got this wonderful consomme or

it's a chicken broth. Give it a try.

You don't tend to slurp up your noodles

like you would with spaghetti you just

sort of snap them off or bite them off.

I'm becoming a real Pho addict. Fresh,

gorgeous now what you should probably do

is take a little bit of lime as well, so

we take a bit of fresh line and just

squeeze it in there, ooh hoo got me in the eye.

little bit of chili too, it doesn't have to have

too much chili to be honest. Come in

take a look at the broth, its got this

wonderful clear broth not too greasy

packed full of flavour actually a little

bit of white pepper black pepper on that

will just improve it a tiny bit. The

heats coming into the soup now oh yeah

so good

a bit of chili in there, a little bit

of that spring onion

Oh chilis just hit the back of my throat, they're

hot chilis. So good

I can just taste that little lemon leaf

in there as well

So you know Hanoi has great Pho let's

get on and enjoy some other delights of

Hanoi ......Australia......

Melbourne....... yeah.........This is Banh Trang Tron and

this is fish

oh..... yeah ......Squid..... nice...... then I've got a little

a little quail egg as well.

we've got this ..... spicy beef

floss which is really nice, this is

lovely eh! l Iike this

Oh and it's spicy as well eh under here the base

so is that the mango....its Banh Trang.....Banh Trang this ......

ok so this... oh that beef is lovely

this is the Banh Trang

and no, no noodle.. it is sort of like a

stretch, like a noodle like a rice noodle

here. so this is the Banh Trang. It's nice..... Banh Trang Tron

its like a, like a mix

salad, vegetables, its quite nice......green mango I think and

some papaya and a little bit of spice

and then on top they put up the beef

floss.... a little bit by spicy

couple of quail eggs......

they're lovely yeah.... So on the corner of

the street here, you've got the very famous and

popular Pho 10 but I really like the

Com Pho, this one just here. Now the

spring rolls in Hanoi are fantastic

and we want to try both the fried spring

rolls and the fresh spring rolls. This

place looks as good as any it looked

delicious. We actually came passed here

last night and a lot of people were

eating, these tables were completely full.

We've come a little bit earlier today so

we can get in before the crowds come and

I reckon these are going to be

absolutely delicious. There look at these

beautiful fresh spring rolls, they've got

the chicken inside, maybe pull up with

lovely herbs and plated a little bit of

salad sand springs in there. You dip it

in the little it's sort of like a fish

sauce not very spicy.

oh that is so good, beautiful, aromatic

like no little greasy

okay now by comparison these are the

fried spring rolls and this is a pork

fried spring roll, lovely crispy texture

comes with a little bit of salad and

some herbs here on the side. Again we've

got the sauce, similar sort of fish

sauce, just a light refreshing sauce I'm

going to take my spring roll and just

dip it in the sauce, here goes.

Delicious not to greasy

you get the Pork in that it's not as

light and refreshing as the the fresh

spring roll but I still absolutely

love it. We'll just take a little bit of

this Fresh salad as well,

coriander I love coriander. Now the

doughnut fresh off the streets, the lady

here is cooking them up, they're

absolutely gorgeous. Now unlike the ones

that are being handed out around the old

town which have been on those baskets

all day, these are lovely and fresh, give

it a try Oh

delicious, the oil is slightly savoury, not

super sweet, you've got the Sesame on

there, you've got the beautiful little

donut now also inside the donut there's

like a white bean paste, it's slightly

sweetened almost vanilla flavor. Another

great advantage of these little Donuts

are they are gluten-free as well and this

being a cooking channel more than the

travel channel we will be covering these

donut as a recipe on steve's kitchen at

a later date. It's amazing there's a

constant flow of people coming up to the

store, picking up donuts on the back of

their scooters and off they go and a few

seconds later another one appears. Now

we've been recommended to a place and

this isn't a place where you'll find any

tourists as well and I think sometimes

it's good to get off the beaten track

and try something very local. I hope I

don't spoil this by sharing with you

this place is called Quan Sam and I'm not

sure if i pronounced that right

Obviously they do unifor barbecue it's

shut at the moment but I've got some

nice footage from last night to share

with you.....good ....it's good .....yeah food is

good .11 fam fan Sam yeah good strain d

we just we just met the one of the guys

from here.... is it your your restaurant?

you're you're the boss.... yeah.... okay so this

is the guy that owns this restaurant, we

had fantastic food here the other night

and we will be back .....thank you ....yes one of

the great things the smoky BBQ in here

is so good you are going to come away

with your clothes absolutely stinking of

BBQ but great memories.

Now this little Bun Cha was

recommended to me by a youtuber actually

as I thought I was looking here in

Vietnam it's got a great little YouTube

channel is called Pho your eyes only.

the beautiful thing about this Bun Cha

is that they're actually doing the pork

on the open coals and they use these,

the bamboo little pegs to hold the

meat in place I think it's gorgeous look at

the little charring on here this is pork

belly it's got a beautiful beautiful

texture. Now I'm going to try just the

belly on itself, just shape photos we've

got all that more would charm in the

Pope jar in there so we've got a

gorgeous clear broth. Now the idea is with

Bun Cha unlike the Pho, you take

down your fresh noodles, beautiful fresh

rice noodles, pop them in in with your

sauce in with your build.prop take some

of these high gamma ideals plan at this

point the ladies just brought out a

little plate by Presley frighten them

these are like a little spring roll

square spring roll packed full of

vegetables and pork and all sorts of

great flavors but this great big plate

here of salads, coriander salad there's

mint in here, bean sprouts as well. I'm

going to pop this in with my broth let

it just wilt down, if you like a little

bit of chili in there oxygen on top

given a little mix through. I'm in bun cha

heaven. Let's go with this spicy

coriander tastes absolutely delicious

get a little bit of pork belly as well

this is real Bun Cha, real full

flavored delicious sponge are all the

details will be on steve's kitchen com

on the website so that fantastic Bun Cha

if you want to find it it's just

next to the the Wolfhound pub and Phat

Loc the end of the lane here fantastic

Bun Cha really delicious. Now on to

something else okay I'm going to have

the, this is the guy and she'll tell me

the guy that helps instead of this last

time the chesh so first of all he's

going to take a fresh coconut and he's

just taking the top off now for some

reason this time he's given me the

coconut water he didn't do that last

time but maybe it's because I'm a

regular now. Now firstly he's filling the

inside the coconut ice cream putting a

little bit of shredded coconut in the

center and then ebook just beautiful

swirl of ice cream on top in goes some

pieces of jackfruits a little more

shredded coconut and then some pieces of

the beautiful toasted coconut thank you

so get the nice photo so here it is that

was beautiful doesn't matter beautiful

I'm saving the coconut water for

Michelle I'm just going to get some of

this stuff I want some of that toasted

coconut

here we go

sweet gold delicious of the middle

jackfruit in here

it'll be to the jackfruit a little bit

of toasted coconut yeah when you've

finished pay the old lady's set on the

opposite side of the street she is the

cashier gamma thank you I though that

was our chosen ice cream on hotel street

fantastic great and the girls that we

actually better just coming down here

that what the chance is really I think

I've just had one so what is the chance

is that we've bumped into a couple of

girls that we met this morning when we

were having bunch are on toast we told

them to have the ice cream on the street

and they come over to try it as well it

was superb absolutely gorgeous so

onwards to something new now in every

city you visit in the world there's

going to come a time when you just need

a little bit of comfort food

now this lady I mean probably equipment

of a KSP here and all simple so very

inventive but the rhythm right here are

really good so I would put on a list of

my stock through panels even though it's

not really a traditional style food it's

good evening come on let's go inside now

the first thing they're going to do is

bring you out a little bowl of broth

with some vegetables spring greens in it

now in some inspectors can be a little

too purpose but it's a very people

now they brought out my ribs here look

how beautiful these ribs are I've got

three pieces of pork red button fried

rice a little bit of pickled cabbage

anthem vegetables ok let's get this

bride ride for dry ok

because simple fried rice great flavor

and we've got the gorgeous ribs here

medicals chicky came to pull pulled off

the bone now there is great food here in

Hanoi and a street food is to die for

just occasionally old style ribs and

rice there be details on my website if

you want to take the food tools from the

speed kitchen website of time but a mac

there a connoisseur so that you can see

where we think get a clock share the

love give this two thumbs up and I will

see you in the next video right there if

you follow to lead you back you'll find

that the answer is yes

The Walrus and the Carpenter - Lewis Carroll (Poetry reading) | Jordan Harling Reads - Duration: 4:33.

The sun was shining on the sea, Shining with all his might:

He did his very best to make The billows smooth and bright —

And this was odd, because it was The middle of the night.

The moon was shining sulkily, Because she thought the sun

Had got no business to be there After the day was done —

"It's very rude of him," she said, "To come and spoil the fun."

The sea was wet as wet could be, The sands were dry as dry.

You could not see a cloud, because No cloud was in the sky:

No birds were flying overhead — There were no birds to fly.

The Walrus and the Carpenter Were walking close at hand;

They wept like anything to see Such quantities of sand:

If this were only cleared away,' They said, it would be grand!'

If seven maids with seven mops Swept it for half a year,

Do you suppose,' the Walrus said, That they could get it clear?'

I doubt it,' said the Carpenter, And shed a bitter tear.

O Oysters, come and walk with us!'

The Walrus did beseech.

A pleasant walk, a pleasant talk, Along the briny beach:

We cannot do with more than four, To give a hand to each.'

The eldest Oyster looked at him, But never a word he said:

The eldest Oyster winked his eye, And shook his heavy head —

Meaning to say he did not choose To leave the oyster-bed.

But four young Oysters hurried up, All eager for the treat:

Their coats were brushed, their faces washed, Their shoes were clean and neat —

And this was odd, because, you know, They hadn't any feet.

Four other Oysters followed them, And yet another four;

And thick and fast they came at last, And more, and more, and more —

All hopping through the frothy waves, And scrambling to the shore.

The Walrus and the Carpenter Walked on a mile or so,

And then they rested on a rock Conveniently low:

And all the little Oysters stood And waited in a row.

The time has come,' the Walrus said, To talk of many things:

Of shoes — and ships — and sealing-wax —

Of cabbages — and kings — And why the sea is boiling hot —

And whether pigs have wings.'

But wait a bit,' the Oysters cried, Before we have our chat;

For some of us are out of breath, And all of us are fat!'

No hurry!' said the Carpenter.

They thanked him much for that.

A loaf of bread,' the Walrus said, Is what we chiefly need:

Pepper and vinegar besides Are very good indeed —

Now if you're ready, Oysters dear, We can begin to feed.'

But not on us!' the Oysters cried, Turning a little blue.

After such kindness, that would be A dismal thing to do!'

The night is fine,' the Walrus said.

Do you admire the view?

It was so kind of you to come!

And you are very nice!'

The Carpenter said nothing but Cut us another slice:

I wish you were not quite so deaf — I've had to ask you twice!'

It seems a shame,' the Walrus said, To play them such a trick,

After we've brought them out so far, And made them trot so quick!'

The Carpenter said nothing but The butter's spread too thick!'

I weep for you,' the Walrus said: I deeply sympathize.'

With sobs and tears he sorted out Those of the largest size,

Holding his pocket-handkerchief Before his streaming eyes.

O Oysters,' said the Carpenter, You've had a pleasant run!

Shall we be trotting home again?'

But answer came there none — And this was scarcely odd, because

They'd eaten every one.
