In this tutorial, we are going to know about how to create this smooth transition effect

on the dropdown navigation menu list items and on the other hand we will be

witnessing how to create this kind of animation effect on individual list items of the second

unordered list.

Hello and welcome to another new episode of learning

simplified.

In this tutorial we are going to witness how to create this smooth transitional effects

individual list items of the second order list item of the

unordered list and on the other hand we will be creating some more instant text and background

effects as we can see over here.

Now let's hop in 2 our tutorial.

We have created this index.HTML page and this

stylesheet.css page.

Now, in this style sheet.

CSS so far I have created this navigation menu and I have created and

index.

HTML and inside this page I have created all those sort of things like this list items,

this is the first order list, and here goes this second order list and

if we observe the output of the thing so far we did then we may see, we may witness that

this kind of appearance is seen.

So this is the thing that we are about to organize and decorate.

Now let's get back to our stylesheet.

CSS.

Although those have been coded over here, all those things for defining the first order

list over here.

you see, these are the first order list item, all these things are the first order list

items.

In this case I have taken a container class name.

This is the container class name that has been created

over here which has a width of 1000px, its height is auto, I have kept the height at

Auto condition.

the background of it is pure black.

The margin is 50px auto, that means it will leave a gap of 50px from the top.

So I am customizing this unordered list that has been created over here.

Here goes the unordered list and I have provided list style to none.

That means there won't be any bulleted text formats and I have kept this position to relative

and and uplifted the Z index value to 1000.

Then I have customized the list item I have kept this list item floating left.

The margin for each individual list items should be 0 2px, leaving a 2px gap from both

left and right.

And I have kept the position relative again in case of individual list items for the first

order list.

Then I have created an anchor tag over here under this list

item.

Now up to this part, its ok and alright, but we have already introduced second order unordered

list item inside this first order list item.

but this not yet been customized, so this is what we need to

customize first.

So that is why we are getting back to our code and here...

We are customizing at...

We have previously made the position as relative, so this time

I am making the position absolute.

Why it is 180px?

Because we have placed these individual list items anchor tags as

width 180px.

And the same exact thing we are wanting over here, this will be having a total of 180px,

such that it comes right beneath individual list items .

That is why we have restricted we have confined this width to 180px.

Another important issue, place this height, restrict this height to 0px.

We have placed this height as 0px, and on transition condition,

create syntax here...

Now the question is what will be happening over here?

Whenever we are inserting our mouse in, we see, whenever we are hovering our Mouse

inside this particular service box, we can see here that in this particular case, a dropdown

list is descending down.That means there wasn't any height in the previous

case but on mouse hovering it is descending down to a particular height as we can witness

over here.

So this is the thing that we are about to do over here.

Now, we have placed this height to 0px, so up to this far if we get back to our project

and reload, now we can see that already there's a drop down list which has

been appeared over here.

Let's make this hover action.

So all we are doing here.... another thing that we have to provide over here is this

one - overflow hidden.

All we need to do we need to mention the nature of this animation so I am providing here ease...

Now if we just get back to our project and reload, now we can see

that on Mouse hovering a particular drop down list is descending down.

And why this height is 200px?

We have provided 5 list items here in the second order unordered

list, and another thing we have provided a total of line height of 40px.

This is the line height which has a total height of 40px, that means 5 multiplied by

40 equals to 200px.

That is why we have provided this height to 200px.

And this is what it is executing right now.

It is just dropping down to 200 px, showing all the

list items inside this item.

But you see that on Mouse hovering on others there's no such drop down list cause we never

mentioned any kind of dropdown list into this segment and that is why the only part which

is executing this kind of animation is this services segment which has a second order

unordered list to come in action.

Now the second thing is, we need to customize all these things, on Mouse hovering on this

individual list items these backgrounds will be changed and the colours of

this text elements those will be changed over here.

So what we are doing, we are now getting back over here, first of all provide this background

colour for say I am providing this yellow colour over here.

On Mouse hovering these things will be executed, so if you just reload now if we just come

below and we can see that the background colour is also getting changed,

and you want to change the font colours.

So all you need to do you need to get back to your project change and change the

font colour to red, suppose, I am changing this font colour to red, and we can see that

this thing is happening but this is also without animation.

So we need to provide some animation over here.....

Get back to your project and reload and we can see that there is a transitional effect

which is going on for one second for all and the things are getting changed.

And another thing this is the last thing of this tutorial, now we are providing another

kind of animation nature which is known as cubic bezier.

This is practically a cubic bezier, cubic, that means there will be 4 points.

Among these Four Points the position of two points are always

static which is 0 0 condition and 1 1 condition.

That is why the highest value of cubic bezier is 1 and the lowest value always remains to

0.

So the rest of the two points, that means the X1 and x2 points on

x axis and Y1 and Y2 points on y axis should be determined here.

Now this is practically very difficult task to observe to

determine the total or actual amount of this cubic-bezier, but thanks to lea Verou, scholar

of Massachusetts University of Technology or MIT, she is a PhD scholar

and she has determined a new technique to determine the cubic-bezier valuation.

so if we just get here, we can see that this is the website which is been developed

by lea Verou, here she is, lea Verou, and she has created this website where we will

determine the actual coordination for these points, these are the two points

that we were talking about this actually determines what kind of animation we will be observing

over here.

These are known as handlers.

If you just extend this Handler if you change the position of these

Handlers, you may see that this valuations are also getting changed over here.

You see now on changing the position of these handlers, X1 and X2 points valuations

are getting changed here.

Now if you want to change the position of Y1 and Y2 coordination you need to hold this

thing and the last of these two values those are

also getting changed.

of animation will be happening here.

it is getting changed in a cubic bezier method, it has some

particular values that can be determined using Lea Verou's website yes we can see this is

the curve for Linear, sorry for Ease, this is the curve for Linear,

ease in, ease out, ease-in-out.

I've already done my skincare.

As you can see my skin condition is not that great today.

I have some pimples here and there.

So I'm going to start off with the primer.

This primer does good job making my skin texture feel smooth rather than filling my pores.

So I've been using this product a lot lately.

Also, it helps the foundation sit nicely on the skin because it makes my skin surface softer.

So I like this kind of gel type of hydrating primer rather than pore filling primer.

I am using the Ecotool's concealer brush.

Since I have severe darkcircle, I am going to cover that up using the correcter.

I am putting the corrector just right on the darkcircle

and I am just blending it out.

And I also have darkness around my eyes.

So I'm just blending it out with the rest of the amount of product from the brush.

I also cover the darkness on the eyelids.

You can see a huge difference.

The left side(in the video) is quite covered well.

I am also gonna cover the redness on my face like around my nose.

It covers the redness pretty well.

Because the formula of this product is a little bit sticky,

so it covers well and stays well on the skin.

Today I want my skin tone to be more brighter

so I am using the pink tone based foundation.

I believe this is the lightest shade in the range.

And I am taking this foundation brush from Guerlain.

Rather than using a lot of amount of foundation,

I prefer to apply it thinly and layer it a few times.

I think it is more effective.

If you apply too much of pink tone based foundation on the skin,

Your face could be too pale and it doesn't suit your skin tone.

So I am just concentrating it to apply on the center of my face

When the center is brightened, it gives decent volume on my face.

And just drag the rest of amount down towards the neck.

Using the tip of the brush, just quickly brush the product down.

That distributes the foundation evenly on the face.

And I am just tapping the brush on the imperfection areas.

And I am putting the leftover foundation on the neck.

and make the same tone with my face.

I'm putting a little amount of concealer on the darkcircles to cover them.

My darkcircles are quite severe

So I just dotted down the concealers

and using the concealer brush

just gently pat it to cover the imperfections.

I personally don't like putting

a lot of concealers on my face, because

if you apply a lot

it doesn't necessarily cover up the imperfect areas perfectly,

it just makes the concealer thicker.

And I just don't like that.

So I just finished my base make up

And for my next stage,

I'm going to use a powder pact

and the powder is

To be honest, it's not that great.

I mean it's not high quality

but it is very light on the skin and kinds of blur the skin problems.

so I think I am using quite often.

And I am gonna take makeup blender from Chichi cosmetic.

So how I am gonna use this is

just dabbing the powder with the flat side of blender

then the product comes out like this

and just control the amount of it on the back of my hand.

After you control the amount,

like you are doing baking

and literally dab the sponge onto the skin to keep in place

especially under my eyes

today lasting power is really important

so this step is essential.

when you do this, the makeup lasts long

but it could be a little bit dry for those who have dry skin

So for people who have dehydrated skin,

I recommend you to put good moisturizer before you do this step

or I don't really recommend this way to put powder on.

When you do baking your face,

It gives flawless and matte finish.

For brows,

I'm just brushing my eyebrows with this screw brush.

Some people like

very definite brow shape

but I am more of liking natural shape of brow

So I am using power type brow product instead of pencil type.

Take this dark shade,

start to draw from the end

I am making the shape a little bit thicker

and following the natural shape.

First, I'm going to start outlining my shapes.

and fill in the outer part

And with this lighter shade,

Fill any gaps that need to be filled in.

Brush the brows again.

Define the outer part of the brows using darker shade.

For brow mascara,

I like to run through the product onto the entire brow with light strokes rather than heavy storkes

so I can create a natural finish.

For my eye makeup,

I'm going to take this palette from sleek.

First of all, taking with this light beige color

I'm going to use it as base color for the lids.

I am putting it all over the lids and lower lash lines.

With this coral color,

I am gonna lightly swipe that all across the lids

I really have to control the amount of this eyeshadow

because the color is too pigmented

Put it on the lower lash lines as well.

With this small eyeshadow brush,

I am gonna place the color on the outer edge.

Just slightly blend it upwards to give some depth on the eyes.

After that,

and put it on the inner corner of the eye.

With the left amount on the brush,

apply the shade to the outer corner of the eye to one third of the way of lower lash lines.

Taking this blending brush,

I'm gonna blend it out.

Just blend it focusing on the edge.

Using this light beige shade again,

blend the edge with this color

Now I am taking this pink shade.

I'm going to put pearls on the middle of the eye by using this shade.

That shade is a little bit cool-toned base

and this shade is more of like warm-toned pink shade.

I am placing the warm pink shade on the middle part of the eye.

then you can see the gradation

Taking this blending brush that I used previously,

once again slightly blend the edges of the eye makeup

With this pink shade,

I am gonna put it in the half of the bottom lash lines.

So now I can see beautiful shimmers and pearls on my eyebag.

I'm going to to add extra pearl with this eyeshadow from MAC.

I am putting very small amount with tapping motion.

and put it on the inner corners of my eyes as well.

Blend the eyeshadows using fingertips.

For eyeliner,

The color is daily brown.

The color of this eyeliner is really pretty.

The color looks like this.

It's kind of light red brown color.

I've been using this product a lot lately because it is so natural.

But the tip of the brush doesn't make liner go smoothly.

I guess it happens because I used it so many times.

It's kind of sad because it's not long ago when I opened this product.

Anyway I am gonna line the upper water lines.

So just lift the eye

and draw the line.

Now I'm gonna draw the tail.

Today, I want to elongate the lines a little bit more longer than usual.

like this!

Form the sleek palette,

I am gonna take this dark brown shade.

With this small eyeliner brush,

I'm going to put it over the eyeliner.

Then the liner will be more nice and natural.

And now I'm going to put false lashes.

I already cut the false lashes.

and now I am gonna put it on my eyes.

so the lashes are done.

Now I am gonna curl the lashes very slightly with this eyelash curler.

I like to focus on the middle.

For mascara,

Rather than putting it a lot,

just lightly apply it on upper lashes.

Also, on the bottom lashes.

For blush,

I am taking the product from Napoleon.

The name of the product is cream blush..

I am confused that the name of this product is cream blush

or it is just a cream blush.

I can only see the 'cream blush' in the back.

I will find it after filming this one.

It is indi-pink color blush.

I am placing it on the middle of my cheek.

I am gonna use the sponge that I used for powder before.

and just tap it around the area where I just put blush to make it clean.

so I can get powder finish on that area.

Now I'm taking the blush from Bourjois.

I am going to add pretty sheen on top of the blush that I already put.

The color looks like this.

It's very light peachy coral shade.

No. It's like pinky coral shade.

It's not that pigmented so it gives such a nice subtle sheen on the cheek.

So I prefer this using on the top of the cream blush.

For contouring,

It's actually a powder not a shading powder.

But it was ok to use it for contouring.

so that's why I am using it.

And the brush included in the package is very soft.

So I've been enjoying using this brush a lot.

For contouring, I'm putting the product around the jaw line.

Also, I like to put the product around the ear.

and around the hair line

For highlighter,

I'm gonna take this foundation brush from real technique.

This brush creates such a nice finish when I use it with the powder highlighter.

I'm applying it on my forehead,

on the bridge of my nose,

I like to highlight the tip of my nose as well.

I think it makes the nose cutter.

And swipe the underneath the eyes lightly.

and don't forget to put it on the cheek bone.

For lips,

The formula of this is like lip butter.

I like this product because it's kind of natural pinky shade.

and I'm going to use this water sliding tint.

So I'm gonna apply it just inner part of the lips.

Finally, makeup is done!

Now I am gonna do my hair.

Feel like I want to do wavy hair today.

I'm going to use hair straightener.

I don't know why I can't speak well today.

I just found my camera battery is dying because of low battery.

So I am gonna do my hair now and will come back after charging the battery.

Guys! I just finished my hair.

I just did wave style with my hair straightener.

And then

Today I am going to wear this dress.

I purchased it from Zara.

It's kind of indi-pink color dress.

It has like suede and leather materials.

This shoes also has suede material.

I think color combination goes well with these two items.

For bag,

I'm going to carry this clutch bag that I showed you in my previous haul video.

Hopefully it matches the color with the dress.

I'm going to be wearing this neckless from Stonehenge.

I'm also going to be wearing these earrings which are same shape with the neckless.

I believe I wore these in my wedding in Korea.

world has come to to this point where it's just kind

the sex sells so you know when you see TV you will see people like the famous

artists with not much clothes on and stuff and that's just how it is now and

it's okay and stuff because I I still watch TV too I still watch TV I studies

into the radio but basically will I get from that goal is that you you don't

have to try to be someone you're not don't try to be like a celebrity just be

yourself you can't compete with them because not even them the way they're

portrayed on the magazines even they say so themselves in interviews and that's

not that's not really how they look they they do more Photoshop they enhance

their assets more or they totally do like filters and stuff like that so what

you see on the magazine is not totally completely them so look in the mirror

that's your competition don't try to compete with anybody else

those compete with yourself try to get try to be the best you that you can be

and don't look around to see if you look better than anybody else none of that

matters all that's just superficial that's on the outside so yeah just just

worry about competing with yourself if you want to compete with anybody just

compete with yourself and be happy with yourself um and if you're not will then

stylesheet.css page.

Now, in this style sheet.

CSS so far I have created this navigation menu and I have created and

HTML and inside this page I have created all those sort of things like this list items,

this is the first order list, and here goes this second order list and

if we observe the output of the thing so far we did then we may see, we may witness that

this kind of appearance is seen.

So this is the thing that we are about to organize and decorate.

Now let's get back to our stylesheet.

CSS.

Although those have been coded over here, all those things for defining the first order

list over here.

you see, these are the first order list item, all these things are the first order list

items.

In this case I have taken a container class name.

This is the container class name that has been created

over here which has a width of 1000px, its height is auto, I have kept the height at

Auto condition.

the background of it is pure black.

The margin is 50px auto, that means it will leave a gap of 50px from the top.

So I am customizing this unordered list that has been created over here.

Here goes the unordered list and I have provided list style to none.

That means there won't be any bulleted text formats and I have kept this position to relative

and and uplifted the Z index value to 1000.

Then I have customized the list item I have kept this list item floating left.

The margin for each individual list items should be 0 2px, leaving a 2px gap from both

left and right.

And I have kept the position relative again in case of individual list items for the first

order list.

Then I have created an anchor tag over here under this list

item.

Now up to this part, its ok and alright, but we have already introduced second order unordered

list item inside this first order list item.

but this not yet been customized, so this is what we need to

customize first.

So that is why we are getting back to our code and here...

We have previously made the position as relative, so this time

I am making the position absolute.

Why it is 180px?

Because we have placed these individual list items anchor tags as

width 180px.

That is why we have restricted we have confined this width to 180px.

Another important issue, place this height, restrict this height to 0px.

inside this particular service box, we can see here that in this particular case, a dropdown

list is descending down.That means there wasn't any height in the previous

case but on mouse hovering it is descending down to a particular height as we can witness

over here.

So this is the thing that we are about to do over here.

Now, we have placed this height to 0px, so up to this far if we get back to our project

and reload, now we can see that already there's a drop down list which has

been appeared over here.

Let's make this hover action.

So all we are doing here.... another thing that we have to provide over here is this

one - overflow hidden.

All we need to do we need to mention the nature of this animation so I am providing here ease...

Now if we just get back to our project and reload, now we can see

that on Mouse hovering a particular drop down list is descending down.

And why this height is 200px?

We have provided 5 list items here in the second order unordered

list, and another thing we have provided a total of line height of 40px.

This is the line height which has a total height of 40px, that means 5 multiplied by

40 equals to 200px.

That is why we have provided this height to 200px.

And this is what it is executing right now.

It is just dropping down to 200 px, showing all the

list items inside this item.

But you see that on Mouse hovering on others there's no such drop down list cause we never

mentioned any kind of dropdown list into this segment and that is why the only part which

is executing this kind of animation is this services segment which has a second order

unordered list to come in action.

Now the second thing is, we need to customize all these things, on Mouse hovering on this

individual list items these backgrounds will be changed and the colours of

this text elements those will be changed over here.

So what we are doing, we are now getting back over here, first of all provide this background

colour for say I am providing this yellow colour over here.

On Mouse hovering these things will be executed, so if you just reload now if we just come

below and we can see that the background colour is also getting changed,

and you want to change the font colours.

So all you need to do you need to get back to your project change and change the

font colour to red, suppose, I am changing this font colour to red, and we can see that

this thing is happening but this is also without animation.

So we need to provide some animation over here.....

Get back to your project and reload and we can see that there is a transitional effect

which is going on for one second for all and the things are getting changed.

And another thing this is the last thing of this tutorial, now we are providing another

kind of animation nature which is known as cubic bezier.

This is practically a cubic bezier, cubic, that means there will be 4 points.

Among these Four Points the position of two points are always

static which is 0 0 condition and 1 1 condition.

That is why the highest value of cubic bezier is 1 and the lowest value always remains to

0.

So the rest of the two points, that means the X1 and x2 points on

x axis and Y1 and Y2 points on y axis should be determined here.

Now this is practically very difficult task to observe to

determine the total or actual amount of this cubic-bezier, but thanks to lea Verou, scholar

of Massachusetts University of Technology or MIT, she is a PhD scholar

and she has determined a new technique to determine the cubic-bezier valuation.

so if we just get here, we can see that this is the website which is been developed

by lea Verou, here she is, lea Verou, and she has created this website where we will

determine the actual coordination for these points, these are the two points

that we were talking about this actually determines what kind of animation we will be observing

over here.

These are known as handlers.

If you just extend this Handler if you change the position of these

Handlers, you may see that this valuations are also getting changed over here.

You see now on changing the position of these handlers, X1 and X2 points valuations

are getting changed here.

Now if you want to change the position of Y1 and Y2 coordination you need to hold this

also getting changed.

valuation just go to preview and compare and press the button and you can see this kind

of animation will be happening here.

particular values that can be determined using Lea Verou's website yes we can see this is
