Police torture on Mexico: The Kidnap - Duration: 12:49.

My name is Alice,

I'm a Mexican transgender girl,

I'm a girl that was kidnapped and tortured,

For the very same judiciary police

to make a self-incriminating statement

Of a crime I didn't commit,

And the crime is Homicide.

As you may deduce or know, Cameras are not allowed inside of prision's facilities

And no… I'm not recording on a clandestine way,

I got out… free.

Absolved on my appeal,

Unfortunately, for a technicality my file is reopened,

For a triviality,

For a fail my lawyers had on the first stage of the trail.

I got out on the appealing because

basically I armed my own defense,

With some help, yes, but basically I put it all together,

Firing these terrible lawyers,

and I got absolved,

But since I was condemned on the trail,

I could go back to prison,

And I won't go before tell my story,

Without leaving a proof of my existence, That a girl named Alice existed…

that was kidnapped and tortured.

My case is not special,

is not a singularity, it's not a particularity

It's part of the way Mexican authorities work,

This is systematic,

And there are much worst cases, More famous cases than mine,

Like "The Manslaughter of Tlaltelolco on 1968",

The "El negro durazo" regimen,

The 43 missing persons of Ayotzinapan.

If you are not Mexican, you can google them,

They are dreadful cases,

Allegedly with the new penal system the torture should disappeared,

But no,

Allegadly the new penal system is not compatible with the torture

As the old one was, practically they went hand in hand,

But even so, it still exist,

And. I won't shut up on this.

I won't pretend nothing happened, because it did,

I'll leave a series of videos, telling my story beore I go to jail,

Because there is a big chance I go to jail since I was already convicted once,

So, let's start.

The Kidnap.

THE KIDNAP

The kidnap occurs on January 31th of 2013, approximately at 1 am,

Back then, I had not transitioned yet,

I lived accordingly to the gender I was Assigned to, AKA masculine,

I did theater,

I wrote,

I worked for the Secretary of Education of my state, Of Quintana Roo.

Take note of this, it will be important later on.

I had a very average life, maybe a little bit peculiar,

Because I've always been a quiet "peculiar" person.

But it was pretty average and mellow.

That day I went to work, I rest a bit,

I made my regular day

and at night I went to a diner,

I don't know why I wanted to go to a diner.

In that moment I receive the call of a "friend"

that I hadn't seen months ago,

this friend was always on shady stuff,

And I think that's what links him to this,

actually I don't know what he earned doing this

or what he was going to lose if he didn't do it.

But it has to do with his shady past.

This person calls me after many months,

and suddently he is very eagering to go out with me,

He tells me that he is with some friends, that they wants to go out,

And I was like…no.

You don't remember this, because the tragedy didn't occur to you,

But june 30th of 2013 was Wednesday,

And the day after was Thursday,

and I had to work,

Then I told him "No. I'm not going out with you, sorry",

He insisted,

until he gave up, supposedly,

but the he called again… and again.

And he was very persistent on going out with me, on where I was,

and I was like "on a diner downtown", "but when do you go back home? What time?"

"I don't know".

He was very persistent on those points, it was something weird, it was unusual,

But you don't imagine something like this,

these are things that you don't foresee.

I, when I go back home,

once again I receive a call from him,

in fact I got several missing calls.

When I was about to go to bed I decide to answer.

And he goes

"Where are you? Are you home already?"

"Yes. I'm going to sleep."

"But we are here, near your home",

"Go out, even to say hello, I'm going to call you when we are there,

I've got a friend that wants to meet you".

And I was like "why would he be interested on meeting me".

I hadn't transitioned and in fact I was 45 pounds fatter than now,

So I was like "why would he be interested on meeting me?"

It's a stranger, he doesn't know me… I mean…What the hell?

You don't imagine, it was like his way of luring me.

Anyway the point was that he called again and told me "we are already here"

I went out and I saw a cab, which made things stranger,

because what Were they doing on a cab? They have a lot of money to pay the cab?

They will be rolling on a cab?

Were they frinds of the cab driver?

I mean, it was pretty strange,

And well, they were a total of 5 people,

if they wanted to go out with me, where the hell will I fit?

The point is that I approach to say hello (to my friend),

and when I aproach

this person comes down,

corpulent,

obese,

like all judiciary officers.

And he grabs me by the wrist and says:

"you are fucked"

Immidiatly I start yelling , histerically,

from the deepest part of my being for help!

I got lose from his grip,

but within seconds the other officers were out and they grab me again and I get to slide,

But they grab me again, and I keep on yelling.

Then I see the headlights of a vehicle,

And I say to myself: "this is my salvation",

"they are people". "They are witnesses"

"they are people that can help me".

Because besides they were a lot, I realized that they had guns,

I got to see the butt of a gun on the pant's of one of the guys. The one that grab me first

Then I couldn't defend myself, I had to run.

The white van was everything but my salvation.

Those Who know how the judiciary police operates in Mexico,

Already know what was the meaning of the white Van:

More officers.

To clarify: non of them had uniforms, nor the ones of the cab or the ones of the van,

I didn't know who they were

I didn't know what was happening,

The ones on the cab, were on civilian clothes,

They were all brown skinned,

very brown, fat,

there was one that had olive skin and brown eyes,

The ones in the van were hooded, but from the hands,

And this part of the eye section,

I could see that most of them had brown skin except for one that was white, with green eyes.

Most of them also obese, as most Judiciary officers,

I kept screaming, trying to get rid of them,

I pull out all my strength to not let them get me inside the Van,

I anchor my hand on the upper side of the van, and my feet on the down side,

And then I see the little neightbore girl across the street,

She was cling to the bars of her window,

Crying, Watching how I was being taken,

I saw on her eyes that she wanted to help me, That she was suffering, that she wanted to help but she couldn't,

It was a matter of seconds.

They were seven or eight.

They got me in.

And from the insides of the White Van is when the Torture starts,

From there.

Moto G5 Plus vs Moto G4 Plus Camera Comparison - Duration: 4:47.

"Music"

Hey guys its Sagar from Tecworkz, and its finally time to compare the camera on the

Moto G5 Plus with that of its predecessor the Moto G4 Plus.

Last year, Moto G4 Plus had set the camera bar very high for the budget smartphones.

Will the camera on the Moto G5 Plus carry on the legacy further?

That exactly is what we will try and find out in this camera comparison.

Now before we get started, make sure to hit the subscribe button, so you don't miss out

on any of the amazing videos coming up on this channel.

Let us start by getting the specs out of the way.

Moto G4 Plus comes with a 16 megapixel rear camera, f/2.0 aperture, Phase detection and

laser autofocus and dual LED flash.

Moto G5 Plus comes with a 12 Megapixel rear camera, f/1.7 aperture, Dual LED Flash, and

it relies only on the Dual Auto focus pixels for focusing.

There seems to be laser auto focus module on the camera when we look closer, but no

where on Motorola's website does it say that it has laser auto focus, so it is most

definitely absent.

At the front, both the smartphones have a 5 Megapixel camera with F/2.2 Aperture.

As we started clicking some pictures for this camera review, we noticed the images from

the Moto G4 Plus having a weird soft look to it.

As it turns out, the plastic covering the camera has gathered a huge amount of scratches,

so much so, that it was not possible to take good pictures with it.

But this video had to be made for you guys, so we went ahead and removed the scratched

plastic altogether, and continued our shoot that way.

This time on the Moto G5 Plus, there is a better quality glass covering the camera so

it wont scratch that easily, but it is still GLASS and it WILL scratch over time, So its

always a good idea to use a case which might help you protect the camera glass from getting

scratched.

Now, Lets take a look at some of the images and videos that I took with these devices.

At first, images from both the phones look similar, but the ones from G5 Plus, are a

bit sharper and detailed, and also have a slight warmer tones to them.

In bright lighting condition, it is difficult to see the difference in the images from both

these devices, when you zoom in on a particular part you see that the image from the G5 Plus

captures slightly more sharper and detailed image.

Colours look good, and both the phones handle exposure pretty well.

One thing that we noticed while taking these images, the Moto G4 Plus got really really

hot after some time, so much that its performance started to take a hit.

A lot of people had this problem with the G4 Plus, but Moto kept on pushing software

updated to solve this problem.

To be fair, it was over 40 degree celsius when we took these shots, but the Moto G5

Plus showed no signs of overheating at all.

here is the test between the focusing speeds of both these cameras.

The G4 Plus has Phase detect and laser assist for autofocus, which results in much faster

focusing when compared to the G5 Plus, which only relies on the dual autofocus pixels for

focusing.

I really wish Moto should have added laser autofocus to the G5 Plus.

Here are a few close up shots.

Both the phones take great cols cup images, but the G5 Plus comes on top, thanks to the

shallow depth of field provided by the f/1.7 aperture.

This wide aperture also helps the G5 Plus capture better images once we start shooting

in lower lighting situations.

Low light is where we see a clear difference between the performance of these cameras.

G5 Plus captures better colours and details, and much less noise compared to the images

from the G4 Plus.

The front facing camera on both these smartphones is pretty similar in terms of specs and also

performance.

Neither one is great, but they get the job done.

Coming to the video performance.

With the G5 Plus, you can shoot 4k videos at 30 FPS, but the video from the G4 Plus

tops out at 1080p.

Both the phones do a good job at keeping the footage stable, despite of lacking Optical

Image Stabilisation.

To me, the video for the G5 Plus looks a bit too sharp then it need to be.

Overall, the camera on the Moto G5 Plus is better than what we had on the G4 Plus, but

the difference is not huge unless you shoot a lot of low light images.

If you are looking for a great camera phone under 20,000Rs, then the Moto G5 Plus is one

of the best device that you can get.

But if you already have the G4 Plus and are looking to upgrade to the G5 Plus just for

the camera, then you might not see a huge difference in the images, specially in good

lighting conditions.

That being said, the overall experience of using the G5 Plus is a lot better and smoother

than the G4 Plus, and it doesn't even heat up even if you push it too hard.

That is it for this video guys.

What are your thoughts about the camera on both these devices?

Let me know in the comments section.

more quality tech videos like these.

How to Make Money Online - Easy $500-$2000 With Valentus Working From Home - Duration: 10:21.

what's going on peeps ah so you're at this video probably more than likely are

searching for a better way to make money online from home maybe you're dabbling

into internet marketing or kind of research on some legitimate

opportunities and some legitimate people right rest assured a hundred percent I'm

gonna reassure you right now that this video is a review a bit of a review on

what we have in place that is 100% legitimate and and I can say this

because we actually I actually promote a tangible product so your when you

purchase something you're actually getting something so let's just remove

the whole scam scenario out of the way before we go any further to lend a

little bit of credibility so that you know that you're talking to somebody who

has credible real you know I'm not just some fake actor or somebody hiding

behind an email or somebody else's image this is me the real deal you could

actually subscribe to my channel and check out all the content that I put

that I have like motivational content and stuff time to this video I'm

actually going into what is it the 2017 they're 18 so I'm going into my ninth

year now in our internet marketing I failed miserably

I failed with three and a half almost four years then I started making money

coming around 2014 like decent really good money um no not 2014 2008 around

2011 2012 I started making a decent income like you know couples like six

seven hundred to a thousand dollars a month somewhere around there right and

then and then I started scaling my business up and started understanding

the industry a little bit better and you know not a full-time marketer at home

full-time daddy as well my sons in the background there he's check I got am

occupied with cartoons so that I could do this video but yeah so going into how to make money online,

your search grade why you know you're looking for a better way to make money

online you're looking for something legitimate that you could put your trust

into so I'm a part of this company called

Valente's volantis is a health based product so right out the gate when you

associate yourself in a certain product or NEET or niche you're actually you

know empowering yourself through health right so that's why this is actually the

first product that I started promoting in the MLM it is MLM based so don't let

that scare you though right it's not some pyramid scheme that a lot of people

like to say your jobs more of a pyramid scheme than this program is

but Valente's has six six different products and they're all based on like

coffee energy immune boosters or they got they have a cleanser they have a

weight-loss trimmer and the coffee's actually taste amazing and it helps you

lose weight as well so your but by promoting an actual real legitimate

company you're you're empowering yourself through health as well so your how to make money online canada,

help you can make money and you can get healthy and you know get all the

benefits of the product um so let me show you some real results from our

company let's see this

so on time in this video I've actually been in the company for a full month and

I'm going to show you my results from from promoting this company because the

product converts really well so the products are based around a hundred

percent natural non-gmo products they have a coffee based immundus booster

energy trim cleanser and this one which is a what is that how to make money online as a teenager,

can't remember what it does I do take it but it's like a cellular rebuild or

something like that so the cellular homeostasis formula so it basically

wakes up your blood cells and gets your blood moving more in a fluent Direction

inside throughout your body see it's basically breathing so this helps you

helps you breathe a little bit better throughout your body and blood cells um

in layman's terms basically but yeah so all the products 100% natural non-gmo

this product right here the coffee product is amazing people are losing a

lot of weight and I mean if you're interested in losing weight and make it

money they have this thing called the twelve and twenty four plan where you

take the coffee in the morning you take the trim right here in the afternoon

and before you go to sleep you take the immune boost and you do it for six days

léo Monday to Saturday you do six days a week take sunday off and then you read

reset it for 24 if you do it for 24 days straight

you did a I mean about 95% of the people have lost between 12 pounds or 12 inches

on their stomach pretty crazy right so that's about the product there if you

need to get more information about the product get a hold of me my links in the

description but now let me show you my results so as I said today it's June 2nd

you should see it in the bottom right corner there June 2nd

and so April I made oops 600 $600 um and that was my first day I how to make money online fast,

started and then and then $80 and then boom I started to blow up and made

thirteen hundred and sixty dollars and then two hundred forty dollars and three

hundred sixteen so altogether I've made a 13-6 2025 twenty let's say twenty-six

hundred because I'm Canadian I get an extra thirty four percent so I actually

made probably thirty two hundred dollars total in my first month so this product

works really well it's I mean it's it's the value that people are getting so you how to make money online 2017,

can make money in the health industry right um I don't do any selling outside

of internet marketing everything I do is online based so I'm not out there

chasing my friends and family try to convince them to join the next crazy MLM

health health business right that's usually what people are afraid of

so I'm not doing that oh I T dive been in this industry for a

long time now and I know how to market online so I teach people how to generate

leads and traffic online both through Facebook and YouTube you just got to do

the work right ultimately anybody can succeed in this industry anyway you know

any level of experience can succeed in this industry you just have to have the

right people around you and this is why I failed for nearly 4 years when I first how to make money online canada 2017, how to make money online surveys,

started and spent you know almost twenty thousand dollars in the process in debt

um debt free now right but uh basically I didn't surround myself with people

coaches mentors people like myself I would have loved to have a person like

myself back in the day that could have fast-tracked me to succeeding in the

industry a lot quicker probably could have sped up my failure up to maybe less

than a year right and you know within my second year I probably could have been

succeeding right away and that is the difference between somebody who's going

to succeed right away and somebody who's just going to you know who

- whoo let's fear hold them back from succeeding and becoming you know make money online, make money online fast,

financially free right because that's the ultimate goal here so I'm a full

time I'm a full time marketer online now make it a full time income

full time daddy doing it right so as you can see this company works and pays

really well on you can get paid by prepaid mastercard or let me see you

could do it paid by direct deposit to your bank

Aventura Azja cz. 2 "Rosja" - Duration: 23:50.

The weather in St Petersburg is quite tough today

But viewes and architecture are making this place really special

Lady wanted to give us some discount .. but Wojtek correct her, that it's still too much

We are going to find better price

Those cups you can buy here, in St Petersburg

Isaac Cathedral, St Petersburg, day 1

Blighter nr 1, blighter nr 2 .. and blighter nr 3

.. do, what you are thinking about just now

Im not able to do it

We are at the Isaac Cathedral right now

It has been built in 1818

Architect was French, and he died a month after the project was finished

Amount of stress and effort was to much for him

He was fighting with marshy ground and with construction

To make it durable enough to carry the dome

In the name of our expedition

mine is not burning

Because maybe you don't belive enough

We just arrived in Moscow, it was hard night

It wasn't the most comfortable ever but that's alright

Have a look how we were sleeping

We have to go because conductor is already rushing us

Beause of our heavy backpacks we are leaving the train as the last ones

So .. let's get it started!

Lets's go, let's go, let's go ..

Welcome in Moscow!

Ladies and gentelman - Moscow!

How about your first impressions guys?

Awsome! ..cold as f*ck!

But the sun is shining.

Today we are at the Red Square in Moscow

It's one of the most famous places in Russia, where people are coming to from all over the world

Today we will do pushups in here, we will do it 20, exactly that many, how many countries we are planning to visit

In TV it looks sooo magicly! Live it looks just .. ok.

They already took our sits

We are in here .. so we have to go in here

We are going to the local food market

What can we buy there?

We will see there tradicional products of local farmers

It's possible to buy there local meet, fishes, cheese, fruits from all over Russia .. and whole east asia

So it's gonna be interesting

Forgot the text? Of coourse

We are just at Dobromilovsky Market, the biggest market in whole Russia, and I don't know if not even in whole Europe

We just left administration when we got permission .. as polish journalists

So we can record material to show what they are selling in here

They allowed us also to try some of their local cheese and some other stuff which is going for a lot of exhibitions

Here we have local cheese

Freshly growing white cheese with delicate and fluffy texture from goat cheese

They recommend to take cheese out from the fride 20 minutes before eating

It openes the taste and smell of cheese

Yeah I can feel the smell, but it's not that intensive. We tried more intensive ones in Italy or France for sure

Ooo now some homemade cheese!

Awsome!

It's first time Im trying cheese with mint and it's reeeally tasty

Look! They even produce their own gouda (of course recepture is typicly italian)

And we can see haloumi as well, produced also in Russia

You can even buy fish with teeth

Homemade conserves, also vegetables

We have to think about what to buy for a Transsyberian train

For Russian vodka, the best what you can it are cucumbers

That's peerfect for russian vodka!

Harasho

Really good, pickled cucumbers. Our mom is doing the same!

Cabbage really interesting!

I think that we can buy everything for the train in here.

And now guys something, which in Polend wouldn't be allowed at all

No fridges, the same like in South America

You can buy it in here, people are eating this, they are still alive, getting fatter and fatter

Everything is cut in time

They are cutting a ram right now, rams all over around

What's that?

That's ram's balls

You can evem buy ram's balls on the market

Do you know Lewandowski?

Yeah of course! He's really good

That's really amazing

Atmosphere at this market is incredible

This is for potencion

Potencion?

Yes, potencion

This is for having more energy

That's just some random gallery, just have a look

We are in Japan right now, or maybe not in Japan? You have to guess

But we have seen cherry bloosoms and nice japanese sitting underneith

I don't know if you remember but in 1610 polish soldiers got Kreml for 2 years, as the first european country

Hetman Żułkiewski together with his soldiers, amount of 2700 heads won with russian army, who was over 10 time more than us

And they were helped by Swedish as well

We can be proud of it especially because polish army won there twice, because they were fighting against them together with Napoleon Bonaparte as well

We just entered one of the most famous hotels in Russia

And we will see one of the most expensive rooms in here

The last thing I want to show you is that magical trick

If the star want to watch TV is enough to do like this, and if he wants to look on some nice things going on during the night he os doing like this

Hello everybody, it's the first day of our Transsyberian trip

It starts like a fireworks!

Catering prepared mr Wojtek, as a side we have small pickled cucumber

My opinion is like it's a little bit salty but if we will think about we don't have anything to pu on bread, and we are eatting this together with that sassauge pepared by local society

That's what local are famous from

We are at the front of the train and will show you how the train looks like

Now we are walking through first class

Its more space in here, lux !

In every part of train you have a boiler with free water

You can use it whenever you want

That's how toilet looks like

Me and my curl

Now we are entering restaurant part of the train

That's how it looks like, prices are weeey overpriced

For Russian prices paying around 25PLN for a dinner is expensive

Nobody is following me

That parts are the worst

Mr Malicha

We are reading a book about Japan which was a gift from Patryk and Sylwia

You are reading aloud and Matt is listening to?

So you can say that you are reading this together?

Exactly

In Irkuck is no snow right now, the temperature is even around 15 digrees

I can't belive that, when I look around everywhere is minus digrees

So what? Let's drink

We have some soup in here

This is something for the cup

And this? What's that?

It's some rice you can prepare with boiling water

He is the best

Good that we are not playing for money

We would loose everything

In Poland half and half

I can't drink that strong, Im working right now

Coctails or straight?

We are not mixing

Are you mixing?

No mixing, russian style, no mixing

That's how we are drinking with conductor

One time is not always

How you guys came from Poland to Moscow?

By hitchhiking

We are going to Irkuck

And Wladywostok afterwards

I was born in Wladywostok

Ok, cheers!

Alright, calm, calm

Not a lot, not a lot

We have entire day in front

We will be visiting you like that today

Ok cheers, cheers

Job is not a rabbit

SKA is with Magnitka in tbe final

Best two, best two of course

So you are the fan of one team and you are from another

Magnitka is the best, it's no better team

Just like a sport, Im not a fan but Magnitka is the best

Magnitka has the best team

SKA is scoring a lot of goals

Magnitka has the defence

This is a polish guy playing in KHL

Polish? Czerkawski

Polish

But who? It is one guy! I know!

Czerkawski?

Czerkawski was playing in NHL houndred years ago

Wolski!?

Yeah it is one!

But I don't remember

True Lives: ep.05 Gallerist Shyevin S'ng - Duration: 17:03.

you try to tell a story that and the viewers that comes to the exhibitions

they could bring something home and make them think so you go home you can

gain something or make you think about something

welcome to True Lives with me Tom I'm here today with the beautiful and talented

and incredibly charming Ms Shyevin S'ng hello

so ms Shyevin has been living in Vietnam for like 15 years in 11 years

yeah and she owns an art gallery the recently rebranded Shyevin S'ng

gallery here used to be called the Vin gallery here in Ho Chi Minh City

Thao Dien so yeah I would love to hear about your story so see when did you come to Vietnam and you're from

Malaysia I'm from Malaysia here so I came to Vietnam about like 13 years ago

actually with my family so in an out for two years and then decided to move

here then this is my 12 years actually in Vietnam so there's how I end up here

because I just love the culture then I've been loving art for all of my life

so okay then I'm like you know why not and if I can really enthusiastic city

okay so what are you doing before you own the art gallery actually I own the art

studio as well in Malaysia's but more like photography and multimedia studio

so I sell that all and then yeah I moved here but then why not to have another

studio or the gallery so basically I start up with my studio first so that

was like 8 years ago so the first three years do nothing

I'm a similar situation I was here for 3 years not doing anything it's great

highly recommend doing nothing doing nothing is a good thing

that's really good time but now you're super busy

yeah I might regret a little bit but you know why did you why do you want to get

into that why do you want to have a studio here as a gallery I studied art

actually so I'm an artist myself okay so that is how I begin my career as

an artist and well for that three years basically I'm an artist

I'm not doing nothing but yeah and then but I always have like two sites of me

where like the crazy side and the business side and I feel like my

business side actually is stronger than my creative side and I decided that why

don't I pursue that so then I did so I start with the studio and then galleries have

been always my passions always been something that I really wanted to do

because I love art and I would like to talk to artists I like the

conversation with artists how about the conversations with the buyers

yes if sometimes very interesting and email when you see different people you

you have to match them why you so you have to match your collectors and

you have to match your artists for them to get the transactions done so that is

very interesting for me to stand in the middle and to make that deal so I like

that yes okay so matching are the personalities of the two do they

meet each other - the artists meet the collectors is that kind of relationship

sometimes so sometimes that they do t sometimes that my client

they would like to see the artist in the studio will have to talk to them in

person would like to understand more but then there is many type of collectors so

collectors could be you know just for the investment or collectors that is

really passionate about it depends on what kind of the collectors that you you

had okay and so that happens in different situations

just just a different story when you started there the gallery how did

you get your first artists well it's quite brave I started with nothing though I

basically just rent the space okay totally empty space

put some art that I think they are good but they're crap okay and you know back

so it didn't sell? No, I mean it's not crap it's something commercial

and but I like them so Vietnamese artists

Vietnamese artists and I like them and I think that I would like to promote the

artists with things that I like because you know like if you run a gallery

mostly almost like your style okay so that's like why I name my gallery now

Shyevin S'ng because it's my style it's my taste

that's work right yeah so then I start with that and then I start to have to

openly I start to invite people first of course with your friends I've been like

there was like three years after that and then I make some connections

and people start to you know support me and yeah that's how I started so well so

awesome so and I realized that in Vietnam that is not really ready yet for

so for making a revenue oh you mean it's hard to find buyers with lots of money

actually what's what's kind of average price oh you know what about $2000usd yeah

okay yeah for a painting of some kind and then but before I started

the gallery I already know like that was like five years ago and I already know

that it's not going to work completely in Vietnam to be in order to making

enough for me so then when I started gallery I already know that I want to go

oversea I want to run into the international market but other when I

start to get searching for buyers so yeah

searching for buyers and artists when I started I think in Vietnam

there's a lot of galleries have been having a Vietnamese artists 100% vietnamese

artist so I want to make my gallery a little bit different so I would like to

make it mix you know that you can see some foreign artists in Vietnam and

inspire Vietnamese artists and bring Vietnamese artists overseas and inspire

other people so that is my initial idea so it still keep until today so it's like

that the opening in Vietnam sometimes that you will see like some foreigners

artists that have been exhibited in my gallery and then I bring these artists

that I work with to the international market and doing

a fair collaborations with the gallery and so on and yes have you seen kind of the

Vietnam art scene change over the past 11 years or change a lot actually

so you know right art is actually something quite extra in life

you need beautiful car beautiful handbags and other words you want to go

higher level you want to enjoy a little bit more you know inner but then you go

for something more conceptual which is something that you you you will

appreciate art because you start wanting to know culture you start wanting to know

history so all the country has been begun like that and Vietnam has

been many years develop for many years and now I think is the time

for and that is one of the country that created a lot of millionaires

already now more more ready than before say so this seems that from from

the buyer side so who is kind of a typical

buyer who your ideal or you typical well for now because of my I didn't concentrate

in Vietnam I would say 95% of my collectors are international ok so

that's why I'm rebranding my gallery and I would like to ground it here a little

bit and start to serve local clients okay okay so why do they come to you what

is the Shyevin S'ng your special angle because I'm charming

that is my secret angle too I can understand no basically

it's just about like I think oh if I always say like you're selling the

dream yes you selling a dream everything your selling the dream.

so we kind of like a a when you talk to people if a lot of my

client they ask me if these artists is it worth it for me to collect to

invest in also and then it's kind of like a trust that you build so I have

like a long history of four years some work with me sometimes I'll just

send them image in the phone and say like well you know this is the artist

knew that I think you liked it so I'll make it very personal this is like I try

to make a long-term relationship open relationships in the sense of like very

personal that the artist creates this piece of artwork and I already know this

piece of artwork who I should give to yeah kind of like you know like okay so

this is a buyer than I think he or she will liked it so then I'll only give to

this customer and I'm not giving to other people so yeah so then you know

like they are not seeing this in the market and they have their private

collections that is been like very special for them so art sometimes people

like to be special but everybody like to be special so that yes how do you set

the price for a piece it's a very good questions and it's quite a complicated

one so normally we will see an artist CV how long the artists been painting in

progress but you know the history of the artist and of course I like in Taiwan

they kind of like do it by size you know but for me by size is

kind of like not correct and it has to be in many many different way of seeing

a piece of artwork so and these artists really sell you know like what kind of

prices yeah what have they done before yes kind of or similar artists go you know

and more established artists you will be kind of like following the auctions price

by the emerging artists then normally I would advice an arist is to start with low and

then you can increase every year what's like an entry price entry price a piece

like this I would say depends if it's an oil painting then it's a bit higher

you could buy $300 to $500 this is the watercolor Oh is a sketch then it will

be cheaper 100 or 200 yeah understood

I said yeah the pricing of art I think is always so what is it very is it's an

interesting subject because there is no specs like when you buy a phone

you have a spec what is the resolution camera and all

that but for art there's no price and in a auctions as well is that the

estimation price will be 1 million but it couldn't go up five million and it's

just like a man or a woman that really like really likes it and they're willing

to pay that and that make a record and the artists prices in going up like just

like that yeah I think cuz I'm interested in marketing I just feel art

is kind of like the most pure of marketing we're kind of weird it's like

yes what does it what is the value this sort

of just created by it like desire it what creates the value and just that

just the desire for it it's kind of like your own I'm going to say an ego I want

to use the word to represent this that I couldn't think of the words now it's

kind of like your identification to it yeah desiring your liking your feelings

more like emotions okay so you buy a painting is more like a emotional attach

so basically emotional attach could be towards the person who sell to you or the artist.so we talked about like an in Vietnam went

to the buyer scene how about the Vietnamese artists how is that with a

lot of them selling overseas they're getting a stronger reputation abroad in

Asia is kind of like the same like you know we have to go oversea get famous

and then you come back to your country and then it will be easy for you so

there is quite some artists being are now using this way or they have a chance

to explore overseas and come back right now in Vietnam is a big changes that we

have a lot of new space coming up and it's much more opportunity for the

artists to exhibit the art work example so it's a little bit more better now for

the artists to being able to to go out and then also they so the gallery that

that are doing the collaborations with an international museum or International

Fair and all that and making a conference or workshop for them so it's

kind of bringing them out as what I do I'm not only doing the

commercial sides in the gallery so a lot of time I'm working with them like on

some institutions and bring some artists and create some art talk to just simply

talk about Vietnamese art so that is a type of promotions and this have been

open up the opportunity for the local artists as well yeah I know you attend a

lot of an international art fairs You're going to art Basel yes next week yeah next week busy

and I couldn't you're traveling all the time I couldn't do it I know how we

literally start cry I cry ha ha no it's a beautiful story that you hear

everybody's winning on your snapchat right so what's the future of

Shyevin S'ng gallery and more international and more more

international artists you're selling yes more international and then more

conceptual and well what do you mean like Damien Hirst

well more than not about oil paintings for something more not not mean oil

painting so conceptually could be means like a theres a series of artworks

that you've created or curated with the concept behind so it's not like ok I

painted the scenes of the beautiful streets things like that

and I like conceptual works better is telling the story yeah it's like you

know you're telling something that is important or represent you as an artist

or how you see can be any topic politics can be yourself can be anything but

is how your thought the artist thought so I would like to present a little bit

more like a artist thought and people could understand and you try to tell a

story that and the viewer that comes to the exhibitions they could bring

something home and make them think so you go home you can like gain something or

make you think about something so yeah there is one more round yeah so then it

Shyevin S'ng is going to be a commercial Gallery of course which is I have no strong

background who could support me

so i have to make money some hope it's in art together

yeah it doesn't pair very well for me but um yeah so commercial side we will be still

running like all the International Fair and I will still you know continue to

have a good relationship with my clients and then the local gallery itself it will

be the opening our first show on 11th of August and that space I plan to be a

little bit more experimental space for the artists to make some things that

it's not necessary to sell you can make some sculptures and you knock down after

the exhibition's finished okay I understand feel a bit cool yeah look at

more and more experiential kind of show yes awesome I'm looking for that

one what about eleven of August put it on your calendars

uh thank you very much ms Shyevin for coming over here I just go nice yes

uh so if people want to buy all your artwork where should they go

call me call you email me II hit you up on the internet facebook Messenger

yeah she's I'm everywhere I'm in the viber the wechat the line

just search Shyevin S'ng in

Facebook and then you will see me there where can I go to see or with the work

hey come to the website www.shyevinsng.com okay yeah cool well thank what

thank you

already!!!!!

America's Cup Niggle-O-Meter: Barker Helping The Old Enemy - Duration: 2:09.

America's Cup niggle-o-meter: Barker helping the old enemy

The Americas Cup has become known as much for the off-water antics as it has for the on-water action. The events history is one rich with diplomatic squabbling, jealously guarded secrets, deceit, mind games and out-and-out feuds between sailors.

The 35th Americas Cup has thus far been no different. To assess the level of unrest in Bermuda, the Herald have come up with a highly scientific measurement - behold the niggle-o-meter.

Oracle Team USA and Team Japan locked horns in practice today as part of the time-honoured Americas Cup tradition of a challenger helping out the defender.

To help mitigate their immense disadvantage of being able to set all the rules, Oracle have leveraged their incestuous relationship with Team Japan, using Dean Barker and co as a sparring partner to get them battle-ready for next weeks Cup match.

Under the Cup rules, the defender is granted access to the race course from 11am-1pm during racing in the challenger series. But they can invite anyone to join them if they so wish.

Team Japan were obviously extended an invite, so too were Artemis - Team New Zealands opponents in the challenger final.

Artemis did not line up against Oracle, but then the intention of the invite was not to arrange a play-date, it was to remind Team NZ they are not part of their gang of elastic protocol apologists.
