Cuba doesn't have a lot of cars.
But the few cars they do have, pollute a lot.
There's not like an air pollution treaty or something.
Or a guideline for how much a car should pollute.
I guess in part is because they can't, they really can't replace the parts of cars.
And they can't make sure the cars are in tip top shape so they don't pollute too much.
But anytime specially you see one of these old Chevrolet, old cars pass you by.
Even if you don't see the cloud of smoke, you smell it instantly.
You know there are some more modern cars like some Hyundai Accents,
or Elantras.
I seen a 2008 Sonata.
But they also got some called a Geely.
Which is pretty much like a Chinese brand car.
And I've never seen it before in my life.
I'd like to think that I know a lot about in general about the different cars that exist.
Or at least the good ones.
And I had never even heard of that brand.
But a lot of the more modern cars they do have, those are the ones.
We got a place for shopping over here.
And, we are almost at the New Hospital.
That's what it's called.
The New Hospital and the Old Hospital.
So, it's over there.
And we got a dirty river.
I swam in that thing when I was little.
Let's go this way.
We got more and more and more, more cars.
We got an Audi, that's rare.
Like this car right here, this is the most amazing thing.
I want to talk about these cars for a second.
This car, 80, 90 grand here, even if they cost like ten thousand dollars in the US or
something.
They will cost you 90 grand.
The Hyundai Accents they probably cost somewhere around 50 thousand.
And we also got like, what do you call it; olds mobiles.
Even like the old cars, like old, people pay like up to 20 thousand dollars for them.
I'd rather ride in one of these; one of these.
I love these ones.
I love riding horses.
Yeah the car situation in Cuba is crazy.
Cars are like up to 8, 9 times the value of what they're truly worth outside of this country.
I'm not sure if that's like an inflated price, or
if that is because of import taxes and the fact they are very scarce.
You know they don't have a lot of them.
It's probably a combination of the two.
I don't really know; all I is they are extremely expensive.
And also the rent of a car,
renting a car here can easily be up to 200 dollars depending on the kind of car you want
to get.
But on average you're going to pay at least 70 dollars a day
to rent even a basic economy car.
It'll be a more modern car but it'll still be an economy car.
It won't be anything fancy.
Where over there for 70 dollars a day you can probably get like
a luxury car.
So, yeah.
Let's go home.
Okay now, before we get home, speaking about the car situation.
I want to cover the fact that since cars are so expensive.
You have to have a way to transport yourself around, get around.
So people pay for taxis.
But the taxis cost like 4 dollars for just a couple miles.
Kind of like Uber, except...
You know you rent the cars for 4 dollars for just a couple miles and that gets you around.
Though I honestly don't see how they can make a profit,
because gasoline is nearly twice as expensive as it is over there in the US.
Which is crazy.
They don't really make much a profit, and honestly.
Like if they go for example, if they take someone 2 miles away.
And then they've got to go back to the same place they came from,
to pick up a new person.
Then they're already losing money cause gas is so expensive.
And plus the parts over here for the cars; like look.
You always see people like fixing cars or something.
The parts over here for cars they're almost twice as expensive as they are over there.
Because...
That's the pollution I was talking about.
Okay because.
What do you call it?
They don't have any parts, they can't really replace the parts for the cars so everything
is expensive.
So the gas is expensive,
parts are expensive,
cars are expensive,
and getting around costs as much as Uber does.
Gladly the cities aren't as big, as a city over there.
So you can kind of get around walking, but the Cuba Sun is like so hot.
Is like scorching heat all the time.
I honestly can't stand being in the Sun for more than a half hour.
So what I do is you know film, I do my thing, I swim a little bit and I go back in the shade
again.
Otherwise I will go home with a sunburn.
But anyways, we are almost home; we are almost home.
Almost, almost, almost, almost.
But yeah, car situation in Cuba no good.
You're better off renting a car.
You're going to save yourself on gas, a lot.
You're going to save yourself on buying the car cause it's expensive;
because of imports and the lack of cars that there are.
And you're going to save yourself a lot money on the maintenance.
So might as well just rent it even if it's expensive.
Because; is just not worth it.
I really do like the constructions.
And that's my house right there.

Inside this short fat loss video,
I'm going to start talking about the most common mainstream
nutrition lies.
In today's video, we're going to talk about egg yolks.
Are they really bad for you?
And then, over the next couple of days,
I'm going to talk about salt. I'm
going to talk about whole wheat and grains.
And I'm also going to talk about protein intake.
Does too much protein intake really damage your kidneys?
I think the answer will surprise you.
But first, let's talk about egg yolks.
Now, if you're scrolling through your feed,
you don't know who I am, you're not familiar with me,
I've been in this industry over 20 years.
And over the last five years alone, my wife Karen and I
have helped over 100,000 people across the globe
with our products and services.
So I got my start in the health and fitness industry
back in 1998 when I placed first runner
up in the world's largest body transformation
contest called Body for Life.
Now, let's talk quickly about the egg yolk myth.
So believe it or not the egg yolk
is actually the healthiest part of the egg.
Throwing out the yolk and just eating egg whites
makes sense if you're trying to drastically reduce
calories or cut down on your fat intake
because the yolk has a lot of friendly fats in it.
Therefore, it yields a lot more calories
than the egg white, which is just pure protein.
But you'll be leaving all of these vitamins and minerals
on the table by doing this.
So the egg yolk contains B vitamins.
It contains trace minerals like folate, choline, lutein,
every one of the fat soluble vitamins
your body needs A, D, E, and K. And then
it also contains essential fatty acids or friendly fats.
And it is now known, through published research,
and what I'll do is I'll post a reference
above or below this video, somewhere around this video
depending on the device you're watching it on, showing
you that cholesterol in the diet has nothing to do
with cholesterol in the blood.
Now, the key to getting all these benefits from egg yolks
without going overboard is to minimize your intake of them.
So I don't recommend eating four or five whole eggs a day,
but two or three whole eggs eaten four or five
days of the week is one of the best foods
that you can put in your body.
Some would argue that eggs are almost the perfect food.
Now, there is a small percentage of the population
that has an inflammatory effect or a food allergy to eggs.
But, in general, they are one of the best fat burning foods
on the planet.

5 Ways To Restore The Naural Peace And Quiet In Your Mind

I hear it all the time, �I can�t meditate� or �My brain won�t quit�. I used to
say it all the time as well. Our mind is a tool meant to create, destroy, probe, mimic
and generally be active.I have always enjoyed the imagery of your mind being an infant.
Without care, discipline, and nourishment it becomes unfocused, wild, unproductive,
and sometimes violent or aggressive.
If we keep it fed and acknowledge it, work with it consistently, it calms down. It may
seem quieter, more disciplined and showing signs of growth, but it is still an infant
and infants are prone to random outbursts.
Your mind is a tool, as such to serve you better it will wander off and imagine things
that are ghastly, or distinctly not us. That�s fine. You are more than your mind.
The infants got a hold of scissors, of course it made a mess. The idea behind meditation
isn�t to make our mind like a silent mausoleum, it is to keep the mind adaptive while not
letting waste energy or have the power to hurt us.
Below are some ways to take back the space between your ears. These are guidelines that
you may need to tweak to make fit your needs. As long as the �highs and lows� of your
thinking begin to even out and �tantrums� become shorter and less frequent, you are
on the right path.
1. Focus On Your Breath, Acknowledging What Pops Up
Your focus while meditating should have a singular focal point. I recommend either the
rise and fall of your sternum or the feeling of breath inside your nose.
The focal point should have a direct connection to your breath. There are different ways of
breathing and counting breath, but I recommend: in breath (that�s one), out breath (that�s
two), in breath (that�s three), and so on. There is no need to count higher then ten.
This isn�t a mental exercise.
As formations arise look at them without judgment, smile and let them go. At first they will
still hang around yammering, but like an infant it�ll get bored and wander off.
Anytime you loose track of your breath, restart. Anytime you get to ten, restart. Start to
divide your attention from your inner voice, to your inner being, inner health and other
voices.
2. Bring Intention And Mindfulness Into Your Daily Activities
Through out your day, whenever you remember, breath to ten while you work or play. Re-word
your intentions, or try to focus on only your breath and the task at hand.
Watch yourself react and accept that reaction. Then let it go. If you are having a consistent
problem with strong negative formations, like suicidal thoughts, then start to carry a pen
with you.
Anytime you experience the reoccurring formation stop: make a notch in a book or on your skin
(gently!). While you are making only a notch, examine this feeling. Try to see where it
is coming from.
Don�t run from it or push it away. This is only endowing it more unproductive energy.
Embrace it for what it is and say some nice stuff to yourself. Say it aloud if you have
to.
Don�t be put off by how hard and painful it is to say, �you�re beautiful�. At
the end of the day gather up all your scratches and look at them.
Embrace that you are in pain. Smile and thank yourself for growing and trying to try to
love yourself. A couple days of this killed my suicidal thoughts, and they have never
returned in the same force.
3. Meditate Regularly And Often
Set a schedule and do your best to meet it. It doesn�t have to be the same time everyday,
but it�s easier to plan your day around it if you do.
You don�t have to sit under a tree for days either. Like exercise it is better to do a
smaller amount of a period of time, than binge meditate.
4. Live In The �HERE AND NOW�
The idea behind all these activities is to grow more aware of what is really going on.
The future hasn�t happened yet, so all of that are your projections of fear and desire.
You are more than your fear and desire so there is no productive reason to grow these
formations. We are trying to grow aspects of yourself that don�t normally get attention,
your fears and desires are probably getting too much attention.
The relationship to the past is similarly themed in illusions. Even if you had a perfectly
clear recollection, what good would it do you? You can�t change the past and carry
its lessons with you at all times.
Stay in the NOW, see all there is to see and experience what you can. The more you do this
the more you will experience in one moment. The stimuli is beautiful!
5. Go Connect With Nature

ESP8266 Project: YouTube Subscriber Counter with a Wemos D1 mini and a 20x4 I2C LCD display - Duration: 8:31.
Dear friends welcome to another ESP8266 project video!
Today we are going to build a DIY YouTube subscriber counter with a big LCD display
and a 3D printed enclosure.
Let's get started!
Hello guys, I am Nick and welcome to educ8s.tv a channel that is all about DIY electronics
projects with Arduino, Raspberry Pi, ESP8266 and other popular boards.

In this video we will be making this: A DIY YouTube subscriber counter.
It uses the big I2C display I reviewed a few weeks ago to display the subscriber count
with big easy to see from distance numbers.
The enclosure of the counter is 3D printed using wood filament.
I used two different wood filaments this time and I really love the color combination!
In my opinion it looks so cool.
I really wanted a YouTube subscriber counter to help me stay motivated!
Producing videos requires a great amount of time and effort.
When you know that 35.000 people are waiting for a video from you, you work harder and
harder to keep all these people satisfied, it gives you a great motive.
So, this counter will help me stay focused.
Let's now see how to build this project!
The project is really simple and easy to build.
The parts needed in order to build this project are the following:
• An Wemos D1 mini board • A 20x4 I2C character LCD display
• Some wires The cost of the electronics is less than 10$!
You can find links for the parts in the description of the video below.
If you are going to 3D print the enclosure you are also going to need two rolls of wood
filament.
I used FormFutura's Easy Wood Birch and Coconut filaments.
For the enclosure we need about 100gr of material, so it will cost us around 5$.So the total
cost of the project is around 15$!
Now let's connect the parts together.
I used a small breadboard in order to build a prototype for the hardware and develop the
code.
In case you are not familiar with it, the Wemos D1 mini board is a fantastic new board
which uses the ESP8266 chip.
It costs around 5$ and it is 17 times faster than an Arduino Uno, it offers WiFi, it has
a huge amount of memory and it can be programed using the Arduino IDE.
The Display is a big character display which uses the I2C interface so it is extremely
easy to use with any board you like.
I have prepared a detailed tutorial about this display a few weeks ago, you can check
it by clicking on the card here.
The connection couldn't be easier.
We connect the Vcc pin of the display to the 5V output of the Wemos D1 mini board.
We connect GND to GND and then we have to connect the I2C pins.
SDA pin of the display goes to Digital Pin 2 of the Wemos D1 mini and SCL pin goes to
digital pin 1.
That's it!
Now if we power up the project we can see that after a few seconds the board is connected
to the WiFi network and on the screen the number of the Subscribers of this channel
is displayed with big numbers.
The project works as expected so we can move on.
I designed a simple enclosure for this project in Fusion 360 a great, easy to use software.
The enclosure consists of the three parts, and it took me less than two hours to design.
I have uploaded the design files to thingiverse and can download them for free.
You can find a link for the enclosure files in the description below.
Now it's time to print it.
I used Formfutura's EasyWood Coconut filament for the two parts, and Birch filament for
the front part.
It is an easy and quick print.
It took me around 5 hours to print all the parts using my Wanhao i3 3d printer.
After the parts were printed, I sanded them with fine sand paper and then I applied wood
varnish to them.
I used different wood varnish for each color and I applied it using a small piece of cloth.
Next, I let the varnish to dry for 24 hours.
After the varnish was dry it was time to put the electronics inside the enclosure.
I glued the front piece in place and then I placed the display to its exact position.
I used some hot glue to keep the display in place as well.
Then I soldered some female wires to the Wemos D1 mini pins we are using, and then I connected
them to the display.
I tested the project to see that everything is working fine, and then I used hot glue
to glue the board in place.
The last step was to glue the back cover of the enclosure!
Our project is ready and it looks so cool!
In my opinion it does not look plastic like most 3D printed objects look!
I really love how it turned out.
Let's now see the code of the project.
The project retrieves the number of the subscribers of a given YouTube channel using the YouTube
API.
We send a request to a google server and the server replies with a JSON file with the number
of subscribers.
In order to use the YouTube API we need to have an API Key.
Let's do that first.
So, we have log in to our Google Account and visit the developer console.
We click to create a new project, we give it a name and we press create.
Then with the new project selected we enable the YouTube Data API.
The last step is create Credentials.
We press the Credentials key and then from the window that appears we select to create
a new API key.
We press close and we are done.
Let's now take a quick look at the code of the project.
First of all we have to download some libraries.
We need a version of the LiquidCrystal_I2C library which works with the ESP8266 chip.
We also need the excellent ArduinoJSON library.
You can find links for both libraries in the description below.
Next we have to define some variables.
We set the ssid and the password for the WiFi connection.
We also need to enter the API key we created in this variable.
Lastly we need to enter the channelID of the YouTube channel we want to check the subscriber
count here.
The code is relatively simple.
At first we initialize the display and we create some custom characters for the display.
We need these characters in order to produce big digits.
Don't forget, the display we are using is character LCD display, it cannot display graphics.
It can just display 4 lines of text.
In order to create big numbers, we use two lines of text and some custom characters!
Then we connect to the WiFi and we get the subscribers every minute.
In order to get the subscriber count, we send a request to a google server, and we parse
the JSON fine it responds using the ArduinoJSON library.
We save the subscriber count into a variable.
In the loop function we check if there is a change in the subscriber count, we clear
the display and we print the new number.

As a final thought, I really love this project.
It was really easy to build and inexpensive.
Of course there is room for improvements.
We can add a battery inside the enclosure or even sound.
I am thinking about adding an 18650 lithium battery along with the wemos battery shield.
I didn't do it in this project because I need to test the Wemos Battery shield some
more.
This small shield can charge and protect Lithium Batteries so it provides an easy way to add
rechargeable batteries to our projects.

Nokia is all set to launch the Nokia 3, 5 and 6 in India.
HMD Global on Friday sent out press invites for a Nokia event in India on June 13.
These three phones were launched globally in Barcelona earlier this year.
The Nokia 6 and the Nokia 5 are powered by octa core Snapdragon 430 processor,
have fingerprint scanners below the display.
The Nokia 6 has 3GB RAM with 32GB of storage while the Nokia 5 has 2GB of RAM and 16GB
of storage.
The Nokia 3 is a budget handset, it is smaller in size
and sadly misses out on a fingerprint sensor.
It is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek 6737 SoC,
16GB internal storage, and runs on Android Nougat.
All three phones have MicroUSB port for charging and syncing, NFC, 4G with VoLTE support and
near stock Android.

Nokia 3, 5, 6 India Launch Expected on June 13.
After the launch of Nokia 3310 in India last month, it seems HMD Global, which currently
holds the right to manufacture and sell Nokia branded devices, is all set
to launch its Nokia 3, 5, and 6 Android smartphones in India.
HMD Global on Friday started sending out the press invites for
a Nokia event in India on June 13, and all the currently available information indicates
that the company is planning to launch its 2017 smartphone lineup in the country.
HMD Global launched the Nokia 3, Nokia 5, and Nokia 6 Android smartphones globally at
MWC 2017 in Barcelona earlier this year.
To recall, Nokia 6, the best-specced of the new Nokia Android phones, has a 5.5-inch full-HD
screen with 2.5D design and Gorilla Glass protection, and a fingerprint sensor below
the display.
The smartphone was priced at EUR 229 (approximately Rs. 16,000) and
runs Android 7.0 Nougat.
It is powered by Snapdragon 430 SoC, packs 3GB RAM, features 32GB internal storage, comes
with microSD card support up to 128GB, and houses a 3000mAh
battery.
In terms of optics, the Nokia 6 comes with a 16-megapixel rear sensor, while the front
camera's resolution is 8-megapixel.
There's also a Nokia 6 Arte Black special edition model
with glossy black body, 64GB built-in storage, and 4GB RAM.
Nokia 5, positioned as a handset for those who want a compact smartphone, was priced
by the company at EUR 189 (about Rs. 13,250) and features a fingerprint
sensor.
It comes with a 5.2-inch HD screen and Android 7.1.1 Nougat operating system.
It is powered by the Snapdragon 430 SoC coupled with 2GB of RAM, and comes with 16GB
inbuilt storage; it supports expandable storage via microSD card (up to 128GB).
When it comes to camera, Nokia 5 has a 13-megapixel unit on the back and 8-megapixel unit in front.
Other features of the smartphone include Micro-USB 2.0, NFC, 3000mAh battery, and 4G LTE support.
Announced as a smartphone for those who want a premium-looking handset at a budget, Nokia
3 is priced at EUR 139 (about Rs. 9,750), and has a polycarbonate body and metallic
frame on the sides; however, it does not have a fingerprint sensor.
It has a 5-inch HD screen, Android 7.0 Nougat operating system, 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek
6737 SoC, 16GB internal storage, up to 128GB microSD
card support, Micro-USB 2.0, NFC, 2650mAh battery, and 8-megapixel cameras on the front
and back.
Notably, HMD Global this week also confirmed that the Nokia 3, Nokia 5, and Nokia
