Hey guy's what's up? It's Cory here. I haven't eaten all day.

I've been really busy.

Walked down the street from my new apartment and there's this restaurant right here

that cooks up some Pho and fried noodles, fried rice, and stuff like that. So I'm going to go ahead and check it out right now.

Ok, so this is called Pho Xao Thit Bo. And it is fried Pho noodles, with beef strips and vegetables.

Got some veggies and noodles, all here.

Wow, very fresh tasting.

Mmm, that meat is on point!

I love the freshness of the veggies on top.

These are rice noodles, the same like Pho noodles,

And it's cooked in a sauce, I have no idea what, but it tastes soy-based, like soy sauce.

Mmmmm

Real nice!

It's not spicy at all. It's very savory.

So I'm kicking it up a little notch by putting in some red chili peppers on there.

Mmmm!

The red chili peppers are highly recomended!

Mmmmm

That's sooo good!

I didn't even finish it, that's how much it was.

Anyway, it was only 40,000 Dong ($1.76 USD)

Very cheap.

And I highly recommend trying that, anywhere you go, there's probably like some

really well-known restaurants that do it, but this one near my house is really good.

Sooji Dhokla/ Rava Dhokla | Semolina Dhokla Recipe In Hindi | Kanak's Kitchen - Duration: 5:47.

Hey my lovely foodies, welcome to Kanak's Kitchen

Today I will be showing you a tasty healthy snack item

Sooji Dhokla / Rava Dhokla

You can easily make this at home

Let's see what you need to make this

Ingredients

In a large bowl, take fine semolina or suji

Add yogurt

Mix it well

Add little water

Mix it well

Do not add too much water

Make it thick and pouring consistency

Add salt

Little turmeric powder

Mix well

It will give the yellow colour to the dhokla

You can skip this as well to make white dhokla

Add ginger green chilly paste

Oil

Little sugar

Lemon juice

Fresh coriander

Mix them well together

Let the batter rest for 20-25 mins

Take any pot and add water to boil

Cover it wih a lid

Take a container

Grease it well with oil

Keep it aside

After 20 mins, the batter is ready

Add 2-3 tbsp of water

Mix it well

Add little water only, so that it gets a nice consistency

Add fruit salt or eno

Mix it well

You will see air bubbles in the mixture

Your batter will be light and fluffy

Put the batter in the greased tin

Spread it well

Keep it on a stand, in which the water is boiling

Cover it with a tight lid

Let it steam for 25-30 mins

Medium high heat

After 30 mins, check whether the dhokla is fluffy

Insert a knife and check

It will come out clean

The dhokla is now ready

Remove the tin from the container

Let it cool down for 5-10 mins

Heat oil in a pan

Add Mustard Seeds

Add Cumin Seeds

Add Sesame Seeds

Put it on low to medium flame

Add curry leaves

Hing

Green chillies

Fry them for 30-40 seconds

Add 3-4 tbsp water

Let it boil for 1 min

Switch off the flame

Add the tempering

Pour it over the dhokla

Spread it on all sides

You can also do it after cutting the dhokla

It has spread nicely

Garnish with fresh coriander

Cut it into square shape pieces

The dhokla comes out very moist and spongy

Serve it with any green chutney

You can also add freshly grated coconut on top of this

hey guys I'm Nisa homey and welcome back to my channel today's video is a

highly requested video and I am showing you how to make moringa powder at home

moringa or drumstick leaves are considered as one of the most nutritious

plant and is best known as the miracle tree and Moringa leaves are the most

nutritious part of the tree. The benefits of Moringa leaves are numerous. moringa

helps to burn fat especially belly fat. it helps to accelerate your metabolism

and thus it helps in weight loss, supply natural energy, control and lower blood

pressure, gives a clear smooth and glowing skin, helps to balance hormones,

and hence it is a very good dietary supplement for those with hormonal

issues like thyroid and PCOS. Moringa builds up the body's immune system and

helps to resist infections, they create good cholesterol, reduces allergy issues,

relax and soothe the nervous system, they have an amazing high level of

antioxidants, helps to reduce inflammation of the body so moringa is a

good natural remedy to reduce water retention. the high calcium content in

moringa helps to protect and nourish your bones, so if you have a calcium

deficiencies, arthritis then include moringa in your diet and these are some of the

reason why I include moringa in my recipes. now to make moringa powder at

home. first you need to shade dry the leaves. once you get some fresh leaves

wash them thoroughly since moringa is found in most backyards here in Kerala

it is completely organic, but there may be some dirt, dust< or even bird poops on

the leaves. so wash it thoroughly and spread it on a clean cotton cloth you

can also cover with another cloth to speeding up the drying process. once they

are dried remove them from the stem into a large plate and then spread it out.

small fine stems on the leaves are okay but make sure there are no hard stems.

I got two large plates of leaves and I'm placing it inside the room away from

sunlight now if you are in the middle of a harsh summer you can cover the leaves

with a thin cotton cloth to protect from the sunrays

Its about 24 hours and this is how the leaves look the color has not changed

and the leaves has not shrunk much and after that I

covered it with a thin cotton cloth and kept it on the kitchen countertop for

another four to five days and on the sixth day this is how it looks

the leaves are completely dry and crisp you can hear the crunchy crisp sound

okay now the leaves are ready to be powdered. before that a word about drying

time of the leaves. it will vary with the temperature, while drying this we had

some rains and the climate was not very hot. so how fast the leaves dry depends

on the climate of the place you live. roughly it can take anywhere from two to

seven days. now I am storing some dried leaves in a glass container so that I

can use them in some recipes which I will be sharing soon. you can get dried

moringa leaves online if you don't have access to fresh leaves. the idea of

this video is to show you how to leaves look when it is dried and powdered. I

also will be keeping this in a dark cool place in a cupboard so that it is away

from sunlight

now let me show you how to make moringa powder, for that I'm using my small

chutney grinder or you can use your coffee grinder just fill it up with the

dried leaves and run the grinder a couple of times or until the leaves are

powdered. now you can see how green and fresh my homemade moringa powder is

transfer it to a glass container which has an airtight lid. store it away from

sunlight in a dark and cool place. so guys I hope you got an idea how to dry

moringa leaves and how to powder them. I made this video just to show you guys

how moringa powder can be made at home even though I have access to fresh

♥ Ingredients for 250g jam : 300g wild strawberry, 150g sugar

Rinse 300g wild strawberry with running water and place in the pan

Lay it evenly

150g sugar

Cover and boil for 10 minutes on medium heat

Open the lid

Stir and crush gently for about 1 minute

Don't cover the lid and boil for 30 minutes on low heat

Stir often for 30 minutes

The consistency of jam depends on your taste. But you should not thicken it up too much.

If the jam is moist to some extent, it will be soft and spreadable.

Transfer to hot sterile jar

It's good to enjoy the wild strawberry jam with coffee in brunch time or snack time.

This jam is in season In June and July! Really delicious and healthy food!

Hi this is Vijaya & welcome to Vijaya's recipes.

There is a famous hill station near Mumbai i.e Lonavala.

This place is very popular for Chikki & here you'll get different varieties of chikkis.

Chana Chikki, Cashew nut Chikki, Coconut Chikki but out of all these Peanut Chikki is the most popular one.

So let's make Peanut Chikki which is very easy to make, made with very number of ingredients and yet very tasty.

To make Peanut Chikki or Groundnut chikki here we have taken 500 gm peanuts.

500 gm Jaggery

1/2 tsp Cardamom Powder

1/2 tsp Clarified Butter & Water

So let's make Peanut Chikki or Groundnut Chikki.

We've turn on the gas & now we'll add peanuts in the deep dish pan.

We'll roast it on the low flame till its skin is removed.

Stir it continuously

We have dry roast these peanuts for 20-25 mins on the low flame.

Now we'll check them

If the skin of the peanut get easily removed by rubbing in your palm, it means they are roasted well.

Turning the gas off & let them cool down. Once its cool down we'll remove the skin of the all the peanuts.

Once its cool down, we'll take it out in a plate

This way remove its skin

This way we'll rub it between the palms and will remove its skin.

Here we have rubbed all the peanuts and removed their skin.

Toss the plate, skin of the peanuts will be separated from the plate easily.

We have peel off the skin from all the peanuts

Turn on the flame and put jaggery in the heated pan

Along with water

While stirring it gently we'll let the jaggery melt into this pan.

Entire jaggery is melted & now we'll add cardamom powder in it

Mix it well

Adding roasted peanuts in it

Mix it well

Grease the plate with 21 tsp clarified butter.

Once the mixture is thicken, turn off the gas and pour the mixture into the greased plate.

We'll cut it into the square pieces now only as in it becomes difficult to cut it down when its hard.

Our peanut chikki is ready and we have cut it into square pieces.

How do you change a belief?

Especially if it's...

coming from experience?

So especially if you kind of have 'proof'

for your belief.

So that's a very very interesting question,

because it's a complex,

very complex question.

Because beliefs

can be personal,

they also can be...

collective.

So we have a mixture of both,

some beliefs we acquire

through our own lifetime

or even from previous lifetimes

that we brought in,

and other beliefs

we have

as collective.

One example of the collective belief would be

'women are not good with money'.

So 'women are not good with money'

is a collective belief

in the collective consciousness,

in mass consciousness.

And what happens is that

most women

have it.

Most women have it

and they think it's theirs.

So...

just because it's collective

it doesn't mean

you don't have to work on it.

But knowing where you believe sits

in the kind of...

whether it's yours

or whether it's actually...

something else

helps,

it really is helpful

because it gives you a perspective.

That it's not because

something's wrong with you,

it's not something because

you don't deserve,

it's not because...

you are not good enough...

or anything like that.

It's just what you were born into.

Maybe in your society,

in terms of your community,

your family

or as a...

they call it sometimes positive thinking, as well,

so what they are trying to do is

convert the negative belief

into a positive one,

thinking

that this is going to work.

And I don't believe that works,

I actually know it doesn't work,

long-term it doesn't work.

It may feel better for a little while

but it doesn't create a profound

long lasting shift.

You have a belief that

no one likes you.

So, no one likes me.

Okay, so

using this surface type

positive thinking scenario

what you could try and do,

and you probably did try that,

you try and convert that

into a positive belief.

Like:

'Oh, but look,

that person liked me.

And, you know, I still have friends.

So there must be some people who like me.

And... actually, I'm not that bad.

You know, I have this and I have that,

and I've done this and I've done that...'

So you see how that was working?

You are talking yourself into

a positive belief.

But I actually

don't believe in beliefs.

So what I believe in,

or I actually don't believe in anything,

what I know is

having no beliefs

is the best thing.

Because a belief is still

a construct of the mind.

You see?

Believing negative

or believing positive

is still

a construction of the mind.

And that is always,

always, always

going to be limiting.

Whether it's negative,

whether it's positive...

I mean have you noticed

that you grow out of your beliefs?

You believed this yesterday -

you don't believe it today.

You believed this 10 years ago -

you don't believe it now.

And if you keep basing

your life

on your beliefs

what starts to happen

is you start to feel that:

Oh I can't trust myself.

That's right.

When you run your life

by your mind,

based on your mind,

which constructs beliefs all the time,

then you can't trust it.

Because your mind changes its mind

all the time.

It's unreliable!

It believes this today -

doesn't believe that tomorrow.

So a belief is very...

volatile.

The best thing you can do

is believe nothing.

Oh, how do you do that?

How do you believe nothing?

Well, in order for you

to believe nothing

you need to be anchored,

you need to have

the point of your perception,

the point of reference

at a different place.

Not in your mind.

Because if the point of reference

and perception

is inside your mind,

your mind clings to beliefs,

ideas and mindsets.

And like I said:

it is always, always, always

going to be limiting.

You want to be

basing your perception,

your point of reference

in something

that is

unlimited,

infinite.

Your true true true self.

And what is that?

It is beyond the mind.

It is somewhere beyond the mind.

It is beyond

the mindsets,

it's beyond the beliefs,

you are moving yourself

into the realm of spirit.

And there

you don't need to have any beliefs.

You just know.

And that's a very beautiful place.

So, for example,

you can...

like that example of

'no one likes me'

you can try and work

on your mindset, so to speak,

and convert it into something positive,

or

you can go

and connect with your soul.

And at that level

you know.

You don't need to believe

whether anybody likes you or not at all.

You just know.

You know who you are

and you also know

that you have everything you need

in this moment,

that you are okay,

you are enough.

And...

that's all you need.
