He has B''H such a mastery for speaking.

And also he is able to answer questions about Halakhah (Jewish Law).

Many people come to ask him questions about Halakhah.

It is written in the Avot of Rabbi Nathan...

That a person who has acquired Torah knowledge and knows the Halakhot...

But if he doesn't know the Midrash...

He doesn't acquire the fear of sin.

It says that it is not enough that you just know the halakhah...

It is important to know the Midrashim

Midrashim teach a person Mussar (ethics) and Yirat Shamayim (fear of God).

A person that acquires the knowledge of the Midrash...

But he doesn't know the any of the Halakhot...

He cannot taste wisdom.

It is very important that a person has the wisdom of Torah and knowledge of the Halakhah...And also that he has the knowledge of Midrash and Mussar !

B''H..Rabbi Yaron Reuven Shlit''a...

''May HaShem protect him and keep him alive !''

He is B''H filled with plentiful knowledge...

Of the Midrash, the Mussar and the Halakhot.

People discuss and talk with him...They phone him up and tell him...

From the questions that he has doubts on and doesn't know and has read many times in the Torah B''H...

He calls and asks us ...

He has come countless time to our Beit Midrash with complicated questions...

Complicated questions, which need help and advice for the final ruling from the Gedolei Torah (Important Torah Scholars)...

It is written in the Shulchan Aruch; Choshen Mishpat Siman 10...

Every Talmid Chacham (Important Torah Scholar) who comes to make a final ruling (on halakhah)...

And he rules it on the spot, without consulting or analyzing it.

Without checking the books on how if the particular halakah is correct...

He is called foolish, wicked and rude.

His heart disrespects the Torah !

But B''H Rabbi Yaron Reuven...

He, when sometimes asked difficult questions...

That need the further discussions and opinions of the Chachamim (wise rabbis)...

And consultation with those who specialize in this subject.

B''H he calls us to get our advice... And we have helped and advised him on many matters.

I remember once I heard from the mouth of...

(May his soul rest in peace) Maran Ha Rav Ovadia Yosef...May his memory be a blessing.

He once related...

That there once came people to the Beth Din... (Jewish court)

The first thought that came to his mind, was that Reuven was guilty and Shimon innocent.

But then the Rav relates...

He went back to his house, opened his books; and after he checked and wrote all the things down...

But he saw that the situation is the opposite...

That Reuven is innocent and Shimon guilty.

So that's why B''H many times...

When people come to our Beth Din...

With questions on Halakhah...

We, B''H are ready at all times...

We open books, see the rulings and verify them...

Then we answer the question...As it is required by the Halakhah after a lot of verification, and checking is done from various sources and books.

It is similarly with Rabbi Yaron Reuven...

When he brings us very complicated questions...

It reflects on his quality of humility.

And because of this humility of his...He is not always counting just on himself

But the simple questions that people ask him, he answers them right away...

If they are difficult he believes in the advice of the Gedolei Torah.

Now, I would like to conclude and finish off here...

It is written in Pele Yoetz, and it says...

In the chapter for 'rescue'...

How great is the level of the Jews that help save the money and savings of their fellow Jews...

Our Rabbis say...

''Even the ones among you that are empty are full of mitzvot like a Pomegranate''.

Why is this so?...

Rav Pele Yoetz says...

This is to say that even empty (of Torah knowledge) ones among Am Yisrael...Those simple people who don't have much Torah or mitzvot...But if they truly go ahead and save the assets of Am Yisrael from the hand of the non-Jews...They have a very great reward in heaven.

And so moreover...

If they save the lives of Am Yisrael.

A person sees that a man drowns in the sea...

He dives inside despite the danger...He enters the depths of the sea...

And saves the Jew

Oh if ever Chas Ve Shalom (God forbid) there is a disaster or terror attack...But with full strength a person rescues his fellow Jew

How much reward he has for now saving the life of one of Am Yisrael !

And so the Rabbi of Pele Yoetz now says...

Just how much...How much reward you can imagine is for a person that saves the soul of a Jew !

And this is what Rav Yaron Reuven does B''H...

How many souls of Am Yisrael he has saved !

So that's why we call all of you to please support him !

Help him !

Assist Him!

And all his helpers and assistants...

Will be blessed in heaven and will merit good life and peace.

May it be His will...And we say Amen!

Quartal Harmony on a Jazz Blues - modern jazz guitar lesson - McCoy Tyner - Duration: 11:53.

- Hi everybody; my name is Jens Larsen.

Quartal harmony is a huge part of the modern jazz sound,

and in this video, I'm gonna take a progression

that we are probably all familiar with,

so that's a 12-bar blues in the key of F.

And then I'm gonna show you how you can come through that

only using quartal harmony.

So, with these quartal harmony voicings,

you get a fairly different sound from what you would

normally get if you're just playing the chords

in a more standard way,

and it's gonna be a little bit less clear,

but it's also gonna have a completely different sound,

and something that you can use, and throw in there,

as a variation to the normal sound,

when you're accompanying it.

I've already made a few videos on quartal harmony,

both using it as chord voicings, and also,

using it as arpeggios in your solo lines.

And, if you wanna check out some of those videos,

I'll link to them in the description of this video.

To get started using these voicings on a blues in F,

we need to set our voicings for each of the chords

in the progression.

We can take the F7 chord, and then harmonize the scale

that goes along with it, in fourths,

so, that will be a Bb major,

or an F mixolydian scale, and the voicings we get

if we use the middle string set, would be these.

One way that I suggest you can try and get used to

the sound of these voicings, and get used to using them

on one of these chords, is to maybe play them

on one single chord at a time.

So, if we take these first voicing, for the F7,

and then just play them over an F pedal point,

that could be something like this.

I'm using all the voicings in the scale,

but it's not all of them that are really

conveying the sound of the chord.

And there's also a little bit of part of the sound

of quartal harmony, that you often will use

more voicings per chord,

and that sort of the collective sound of the voicings

will give you the sound of the chord.

So, if we look at it for this first one here

will sound completely like an F7 with a 13,

but actually, this sounds like an F7sus4.

And, this does sound kind of like an F chord,

but it could also be a minor chord, or it could be

an F6; it doesn't have to be an F7.

And, here we have something that could be an F6

or an F7 chord.

So in that way, it's a little bit ambiguous what's going on,

and what you end up doing is that you'll probably gravitate

towards sort of having the ones that are a little bit

more clear, and that can even be a question of taste.

I would say, especially the ones with the major third

are the ones you wanna have in there.

So, this one is a good one to end on,

and this one as well.

And that will actually hold for pretty much

all the dominant chords that I'm gonna cover in this lesson.

If we do the same for Bb7 and harmonize the scale

that goes with it, so in this case, Bb seven

would be Bb mixolydian or Eb major,

then we get these voicings.

And in the same way, it can be really useful to apply these

to just a pedal point Bb7.

So that would be something like this.

The next chord we have is an F7 altered, in bar four.

And, the F7 altered scale is the same

as a D-flat minor melodic, and if we harmonize that,

we get these voicings.

And using an F7 altered as a sort of pedal point,

we get this kind of sound.

(light guitar chords)

When you harmonize a melodic minor scale

in quartal voicings, you get a few odd voicings

that you probably didn't expect to see in there,

I think, especially this one, which turns out

to be an F7 shell voicing, because we're using it

on an F7 altered, then it's actually quite handy

to have in there, because it's very clear.

And I think also, when you listen to the example

of me just comping on a static F7 altered,

we're kind of hearing this as something

that wants to resolve, and if we don't have the core sound

of the chord in there, we do have a lot of alterations,

and you can still hear that.

The next chord we get is a Bb7,

and I already covered that, but after that,

we get a B diminished.

And, B diminished doesn't necessarily have

a quartal voicing associated with it,

but if we look at this voicing for a B diminished,

which is one I use quite a lot, so that's a B diminished

with an added flat six.

Then the top of this one is in fact a quartal voicing.

In keeping with the style that you kind of expect

to hear with, when you hear quartal harmony,

you probably expect diminished chords to be played

with the diminished scale.

And, if I take this voicing, and them move it through

the diminished scale, then you get this.

After the B diminished, we get an F7,

which is something that we already covered.

And then we get an A half-diminished, which is actually

the same as the F7, in terms of voicings.

And then we get a D7 altered.

So, D7 altered is Eb melodic minor,

and that harmonized would be this.

From the D7, we go to G-minor seven,

and that's of course a G-minor, as a second degree

in F-major, so that would be this set of voicings.

(light guitar chords)

The type of G-minor sound that you expect

when you're playing these type of voicings

is probably gonna be very closely related

to a G-minor 13 type sound, so something like this.

So it can make sense to just get used to that,

because maybe, in other, more for the pop,

or into stuff, you're not gonna really find

a G-minor 13 that often, as a two chord.

But, you can actually work with that sound,

just get used to it in the same way that

I demonstrated on the other ones.

And, on the dominant, we're gonna use a C7 altered,

so that's gonna be this set of voicing

from D-flat melodic minor, or the C altered scale.

So, with these voicings, you can cover an entire

blues in F, and now let's just go over the example

that I played in the beginning.

And I'll talk a little bit about why I choose the voicings

that I do, and also how I transition

from one chord to the next.

So, the first voicing

(light guitar chord) is a really basic

F7 voicing that you would also recognize as an F7 13.

And it is nice to just start with something

that's really still familiar, and that we are connecting

with the progression, so that we're not

completely jumping into thin air right away.

The next thing I do is, I'm actually just walking up,

making a simple melody up to the Bb7.

And, the voicing I wanna use for the Bb7 eventually

is gonna be (light guitar notes)

also this, Bb 13. (light guitar notes)

And then I'm just gonna take the voicings

from the F7, and walk up there.

(light guitar chords)

And then I end up here.

Now I need to go back, from the Bb7

to the F7, and if I use, I wanna use this F7 voicing,

so the easiest way to do that is actually

just to take the Bb7 voicing

that's a half-tone above that, and then

I can just sort of slide in there.

And then from here, I'll walk up

(light guitar chords) to the altered voicing here,

and then also this is really clear, so the F7 altered

voicing which is of course,

just a sharp nine voicing, essentially.

And that resolves nicely, down to a clear Bb7.

(light guitar chords) And then into

the B diminished. (light guitar chords)

And here, because we're coming out of the diminished,

the main thing is actually just that we return to the F.

And, having the,

the B and the E resolve to C and F

is kind of enough in this case.

Then we go up to the A half-diminished,

(light guitar chords) a very clear B7,

and then, as I talked about with the G-minor seven,

it's nice to just have that G-minor 13 sound.

And then, to get to the C7 altered,

(light guitar chords) I walk up,

and then I can go, I can actually just shift,

parallel down, to this sound.

This chord doesn't actually contain any third,

or any seventh, from C7,

but in the context, (light guitar chords)

because it's like, sharp 11,

flat 13, and flat nine,

it's still gonna sound like an altered dominant.

(light guitar chord) Like this.

So that's why that works.

So-- (light guitar chords)

And then again, just repeating that voicing,

and walking up. (light guitar chords)

And then for the last F, I'm using this voicing,

which is, of course, something you can look at being,

is like an F6 nine, or you can look at this

being sort of the top part of an F7 with a 13.

And then I'll just move around, from there,

so the D7 is just gonna be

this one. (light guitar notes)

And then moving that up to this,

G7, which is actually just a Dsus,

but it's a little bit more about the context, I think.

(light guitar chords) And then again using

these two voicings,

which actually, again, we don't have, we have a Bb,

but we don't have an E.

But, in the context, because we have this base note,

(light guitar notes)

it's still gonna work as a C7 altered kind of sound,

when you have both of them.

And then, I'll resolve that to

this F voicing again. (light guitar notes)

So in this main example, I'm keeping it a bit clear,

but you can actually go a little bit further.

So, if we just take a look at a few options

for the turnaround, then another one could be this.

Or if we move the other way.

(light guitar chords)

Or something like this.

(light guitar chords)

So, as you can tell, when you're using this type of voicing,

you're really opening up the sound of the F blues.

But why wait for the city?

When you could be giving them new context all on your own!

Just look at General Robert E. Lee. Bronze. Fragile.

Standing at just 16 feet tall, and mounted onto a 60-foot pedestal.

This little guy needs a forever home.

What better home than yours?

Show your African American neighbors that you are willing to talk about the Lost Cause,

by having the only president of the Confederacy, Jefferson Davis, reaching out to them.

Now Jeffy is a little scared of the dark, so when night comes, just remember to turn on his night light.

Just imagine General Beauregard, the man who led the attack that launched the Civil War,

sharing the stage with audio-animatronic Abraham Lincoln,

at Disneyland's "Great Moments with Lincoln" show.

Wouldn't that be something?

well this has been really fun I love the octonaut boys we love the on territory

time TV and Kwazii shark adventure is a really really cool when the other guys

are really great because they love to include a lot of different play items in

the twee' itself and this is what comes in kwazii's shark adventure now the

whole story behind this is Kwazii discovers a lost dwarf lanternshark

well when he must use his fish biscuit launcher to safely send his hungry

friend a spec well that's what's in here and we're going to go over each one of

these items I'm going to move these back because it is a lot of stuff to play

with here and talk about and I'll bring them forward here in a second but first

let's look at Kwazii now what is the main subject of this tour of you and as

you can see Kwazii is wearing a different type of wetsuit than he is

normally now although to something I've noticed about these new quasi figures I

think they're making the beat a little bit differently some of them are kind of

smaller than what they were originally in the series he does bend his little

legs Bend up and down but they're not independent of one another his arms move

and his head rotates it does stop it doesn't rotate all the way around which

is nice now Kwazii is a pirate kitten and well

ex-pirate kitten i guess and he is the first mate on the octopod now cause he

has an eyepatch and of course he's a kitty cat

and he's on a shark adventure in this now cause he's made of plastic he is a

pretty tough little kitten but he needs an outfit now we have in this playset

three different things that cause you can put on this is for the tiger shark

now this opens up like this as you can see and it's got a little kitty get ears

as because it's made for Kwazii and we place Kwazii in there like this and

close it up snaps in place and now Kwazii has this uniform on now we have

three of these not only this one which is tiger striped like a tiger shark so

what we also have think your manager will set him up we also have this one

right here which is kind of odd it's got big googly eyes so let's see what it

looks like on Kwazii we put it in there like this fits in and we close it on

quasi like this and there you go there's Kwazii in this outfit

Neela's interesting Disney community weird well it does look interesting I'm

he'll fall over let's take this off like this and we'll demo it with the tiger

suit too because we haven't done that so if I open up the tiger suit again was me

an excuse a a better fit for quasi in the tiger suit and the other suit and

now he's got his backpack on today you can see I'm with a backpack jetpack so

you can fly through our work so let's take this off and the final suit that

comes in this playset is this one right here it is an interesting one isn't it

yes mr. yang it looks like a shark itself with the eye and the teeth on the

side let's open it up whole book one unit take this and close it up and we'll

biscuit launcher collage you've got two little n things taken pretty don't miss

it and see him and take a hang onto it

actually goes after the shark and it has decent three C bit Wow Wow

well you drop them in like this on the top we'll put all three of them in there

and then I'll smooth the shark out away because he's watched before and then we

press down on this and let's see what happens

eating those fish biscuits oh no he's not but but they are made of plastic and

they do launch kind of far so when you do play with this parents make sure that

I'm Om Firas, from Iraqi Family Kitchen, this video is a challenge with your beloved Hind Deer,

so this was my dinner table, come and watch it at my channel.

So I prepared these stuff so the 30 minutes can be enough.

But I didn't cut anything, I didn't even cheat with the lemon. See the lemon! It's full.

Now we're gonna start the challenge. I'll start a 30-minutes timer now. I chose the dinner to be Iraqi Kebab.

Okay, my friends, I'm gonna show you the ingredients now.

I have here two kilograms of meat, these are the stuff that I'm going to use with the Kebab.

An onion and parsley.

I also have these things to grill, an onion, I chose to use one onion, few peppers, and a tomato.

Here I'm gonna make a salad, I chose to put cucumber, lettuce, and tomatoes.

I have this blender. Most importantly, I have the salt and black pepper to put with the Kebab.

Here I have two trays, I put parchment paper on each tray. Let's start now.

I'm gonna put the meat in a bowl. We have 30 minutes, I'm in a hurry.

I'm wearing some gloves. I'll put the onion in the blender, I have this blender here to put onions in it.

I hope the Kebab won't take too long to cook.

Here I'm cutting the parsley, I'll cut it slightly to put it in the blender because

you can't put large vegetables in the blender, you have to slightly cut them.

Okay, it's good now.

I'm gonna start forming the Kebabs, I'll make them big.

I'm sorry guys, it's a challenge and I'm in a rush.

I'll save the rest for another time because the trays can't fit more, and we have 30 minutes.

And those other things we want to be grilled, we'll put them like this.

Here's the onion, tomatoes, and pepper. That's it.

The trays are done, now we'll put them in the oven like this.

We run it on 180 degrees Celsius or 360 Fahrenheit. I'll put the other tray in the oven.

I have 16:44 minutes left, it's enough. Let's clean the place, I don't need this anymore.

Okay, guys here are the salad ingredients, I'll cut them.

And I'll put some olive oil on the salad before mixing it, about a tablespoon.

I've put some parsley here because Iraqis eat it with Kebab.

I put few lemons for who wants to take them.

Let's put Samak and pickles, I prepared them earlier.

My mom prepared fruits for me, she said I have to put them before the food.

So I'll do like she says and put it.

Now I'm gonna bring the tortilla and bread, which is the most important element in an

Iraqi Kebab meal. Genuine Iraqi tortillas, look at it!

I'm going to put it here, I'll put the bread here, genuine Iraqi bread.

So here the presenting dish is ready, let's put the salad here.

The dinner will be ready, but the rest of Kebab will be put here.

So everything is ready now, we are only waiting for the Kebab to get cooked. It's not cooked.

I have two minutes left, let's prepare the table.

-I prepared it. -You made them so big.

See, guys, the food hasn't cooked yet. Oh, guys, I have 5 seconds only! No!

The timer is done, it rang.

You're Not Special You're not special.

More specifically, he treats you just like all the other girls in his life.

What's it really mean if he gives in and answers your- twelfth text, anyway?

Hint: absolutely nothing.

Pity politeness at that point, is pointless.

Body Lingo You don't have to be a CIA agent to notice

and decipher some of the most basic body language cues.

Try to catch if his feet are pointed away from you while the two of you are in a discussion.

If yes, it's a good sign that he wants to, and is planning on, making an escape.

Even more so if he is leaning away from you, as if there is something important he has

to attend to.

Additionally, if his arms are crossed, that means that he's creating a barrier between

the two of you.

Consciously, or not, he is making an attempt at blocking you out.

Ideally, you want him to be fully facing you, with his arms in a relaxed position.

Feet facing you are an excellent, reassuring bonus of his being attracted to you.

Anything short should be taken as a red flag.

Avoidance Issues Reality check - he's avoiding you.

Why is it that every time you say, "Hi" he suddenly has to do something?

Or glances at you and quickly switches his attention back to whatever he was previously

doing?

I can tell you exactly why.

The simple fact is that he doesn't like you, and doesn't want to encourage your

attempts at conversation.

If a guy does this once, there may be a legitimate underlying reason, such as something weighing

on his mind or actual things he has to attend to.

If this is the case, though, he will be sincerely apologetic.

If he is not, then you have a crush on a guy that is just not into you, might not like

you, and does not want to date you.

Complimentary Fish Food Still hoping he'll say something nice or

compliment you?

Sure, you could be dealing with a totally out of touch guy, who doesn't adhere to

(or have a clue about) social norms.

But, there's a greater chance that he simply doesn't like you.

Your typical guy will feed you compliments on anything from the way you talk to the color

of your shoes (even if he hates that color).

Why?

Curious George-Not!

Curiosity spells interest.

(no dead cats here).

You spend a decent amount of time around this guy, yet he has never asks about the smallest

details of your life.

Even though you droned on about it and you've been back for a week from your awesome vacation,

you should know, he couldn't care less; because he never bothered to ask about it.

If a guy treats your details as if you never even mentioned them, it's because he not

interested in you.

You are not on his Dating Radar.

Don't expect a relationship to form with a guy who will not form a simple sentence,

asking about your day.

Number 9.

Closed Book Interrogation Is he a closed book?

Talking to this guy feels like being in a police interrogation.

And you are the interrogator.

When you ask him a question about his personal life, he all but pleads the fifth.

Even if a guy isn't the open-book type, he should still talk about life's Insignificant

details.

That's called conversation.

If, he wants a relationship to with you, and wants you to be his girlfriend, anyway.

If a guy really likes you, he will invest in you by talking to you on a personal level.

But, if you're considering 'water boarding' techniques to get him to share; then close

that book and 'shelf' him.

F-Ex Factor It's never, EVER a good sign when the Ex

is always brought into your convo.

Besides just being annoying!

It might mean his heart is still a goner.

And, let's face it.

If he's still into her, he won't be into you.

Even if he wants to be with you, he can't be.

Not as long as the 'ole ex-factor is still tugging his rope.

Go find a man who's living in the present.

Not looking back to the past.

You want a guy to look at you, and actually see you.

Not look at you, while daydreaming about her.

Number 7.

He Wants It Back When a guy likes you, his natural instincts

will be unleashed like a protective beast.

He likely will turn into your ultimate protector and provider.

So, if a guy ever asks for something back that he has leant to you, he's totally not

into you.

If he was, he wouldn't have violated his natural instinct to provide.

And, you would still have that pen he let you borrow.

So much for cherishing his cooties on that trinket.

If he liked you, he would notice how happy you are to have it, and would have considered

your feelings.

When a guy asks for things back, he may even be letting you know that nothing of his is

for the keeping.

Not a pen, not a jacket, and certainly not his heart.

Number 6.

Not His Problem A sure sign that a guy doesn't like you

is if he expresses any unwillingness to help you out when you're in need.

This echoes the point that he would be going against his natural instincts to provide.

Let's say for example, you work together, and are in need of some minor, low-effort

help on a task.

You ask him to do this small favor for you, and he makes up an excuse as to why he can't

do it.

Or worse, he flat out rejects your plea for help.

If he can't help out with simple work tasks, how will respond to the future "honey-do"

lists.

If he's a helper, he's a keeper.

Number 5.

Friends, Who?

He has a ton of friends, but for some reason they are never introduced to you.

Not even when you are in close proximity to them.

Major red flag.

You clearly are not viewed as important or relevant.

If you were, he would feel the need to show you off, especially to his buddies.

Sometimes the easiest way to measure your significance is to count how many people he

has introduced you to.

If the number works out to, um, zero…move on.

(another fish reference): There are too many fish in the sea to get caught up with one

who won't let you swim with his school.

Number 4.

Girl Talk Girl talk.

No, not the keckling kind over an episode of The Bachelor.

I mean that the guy you like, literally, talks to you about other girls; specifically, girls

that he likes.

Whether he's asking what he should wear to a hot date tonight.

Or if he is just telling you about an attractive girl he saw.

He's doing one thing; making it painfully clear that he has other romantic interests.

Don't get upset, or feel like you need to compete with the competition.

It's possible that there is no real competition.

Or even a real other person.

Instead, maybe he's just trying to signal to you, gently, that he is not interested

in starting a thing with you.

Number 3.

'Ole Buddy, 'Ole Pal You hang out with him a bunch, and even alone

sometimes.

But there is never any romance, and he treats you the same as his guy friends.

He calls you "dude" sometimes.

And your only skin-to-skin contact with him has been your knuckles; because the double

kill you made while playing Call of Duty was deserving of a fist bump.

If you're just fist-bump buddies, this boy - friend is unlikely your next boyfriend.

Good friends are hard to come by, so by all means, keep him.

There's no point in losing a good friend.

If there is chemistry between the two of you it will reveal itself, eventually.

But for now, dude, fist up.

Number 2.

Very Small Talk If you've known this guy for a while, and

your convos consist of simple chit chat.

Chalk him up and chuck him.

Despite your best conversational prowess, you can't seem to get past the weather - again.

It is another red flag indicating his lack of interest.

If you're starting to prefer a conversation with Siri, find another chat mate.

It's possible that if he is around you regularly, he has proceeded to protest your interests

in him, with an intense non-interest in conversations with you.

Number 1.

Center of the HIS Universe Wouldn't it feel amazing to be the center

of your crush's Universe?

Fat chance if there's no room for you.

In stark contrast to the very small talker, this guy talks about one thing and one thing

only: himself!

Not meant to impress you, either.

Well, it is.

But it shouldn't.

He talks about himself because his world revolves around he, himself, and him.

Whether the subject is the guy who cut him off this morning, or the way he ties his shoes.

Which, of course, is far superior to the way others tie their shoes.

This guy is what we refer to as a narcissist.

He can't be into you, because he can Only be into himself.

Cut this guy, and anyone like him, out of your life.

There are great guys who want to know, and actually care, about how You're feeling

and doing.

So, if you're feeling left-of-center around your crush, run off the stage, honey, because,

as Yoda might advise, in his shadow, you will always be.

Hey, Tripp Kramer here from www.trippadvice.com. Sitting next to me

is JT Tran, America's #1 dating coach for Asian men and he is at

www.abcsofattraction.com. I'm going to put a link below this video so

you can check it out. We're talking about one of the biggest mistakes that

foreign guys make when it comes to dating. Specifically, we're going to

talk a little bit more about how to date American women. I know that there's a lot

of foreign guys who come to America and they're like hey I want to date some

America women. Do you see that a lot? Yeah. Is that a big request?

Asian guys and Indian guys. Well I mean they want to have the right to date

whomever they want without any kind of sexual discrimination. I mean

my students want to date like Asian women, black women, latin women, white

women. They want to meet, they're here in America, they they have the right to

marry whomever they want. They want their choice. Yes. I find that that's

one of the strongest desires of men. Guys who watch this channel, they

want to learn how to be able to date the women of their choice because I don't

think, there's a lot of guys who don't believe that they can just be able to

attract many women. They think they're kind of stuck with a certain type because who

they are. Do you see that insecurity? Well there's a lot of different factors

that go into it like Hollywood and their family and religion and like their own

kind of internal beliefs that creates this is kind of like vortex of

misunderstanding. It's like oh I can only date Indian girls or Asian girls or

like fellow foreign girls when in fact, there is a way to if

you're foreign to date American women. Which is like you know no offense, but it

is different from when you're like a Caucasian guy. Why it was different?

Well I guess like the number one mistake that I feel like foreign guys make,

I'm obviously Asian so I teach a lot of foreign Asian students, is they are

too polite. I don't mean like polite is a bad thing but

it's like they're too polite and what I mean by that is they are

filtering their actions and their conversation with a woman so instead of

being authentic and genuine and talking about what he wants and what he's

passionate about, he decides to kind of tamp down on his personality so he's

less authentic and there's like oh because I'm foreign I might be a little

bit ashamed of it so I won't talk about my culture when in fact, if you're

passionate about your culture, you can draw people in. So don't be too polite.

Polite is good all right. I'm not saying be a douchebag, you can be a gentleman

seducer, but don't be so polite that you

filter your thoughts and your actions and your culture. Yeah, it's like it's

fake for life. It's the typical what I always talk about, the nice

guy mentality is you're being overly nice and accommodating in such a way

that's not truly who you are. You're just doing it in a way which is kind of

manipulative to get something from someone. So it's not them being

authentic as I'm putting on some sort of show. Exactly, what I tell my

students is if you're going to go up to an American girl which is white,

black, latina, go big or go home because you want to introduce your real

personality and if you're being polite, you're not going to do that. I

always tell guys like being honest and authentic is the best way to go. You

see an attractive girl, literally go up to her and go like we're calling a

direct stop. Like really tell her she's beautiful or I saw you across the street

and I knew I would be totally kicking myself if I didn't tell you that I

thought you were cute. I think that guys have the wrong idea of the meaning of what

polite is. They'll see a girl and they'll think it's not polite to go up

and approach her and that's not, it has nothing to do with being polite or not.

You are allowed to go up and start the conversation with a stranger. Now polite

all depends on what you say and how you say it. If you go in and start cat calling

girls. Yeah, you don't want to holler. You're just saying obnoxious things.

Well now you're not being polite.

That's where that ends. But I think that guys, if you're saying,

especially foreign guys might be a little bit afraid to push the boundaries

and just being comfortable with who they are and they take a step back in order

to somehow balance that out and thinking that's going to work and it doesn't.

right again you know you want to introduce your personality and the first

way to do that and go there and say hi my name's jakey like if you're trying to

hide your personality if you're basically trying to do what works in the

motherland it's really not going to work here because of gender equality it's not

like you know there are arranged marriages or anything like that you are

supposed to actually introduce yourself to a complete stranger I mean that is

sort of like the norm once you're an adult like in the workforce right how

else are you meet people it's not like you know you're going to get like an

arranged marriage or something like that or like you know I'm getting no water

bride you are supposed to like go up and introduce yourself to like a woman on

equal terms and the way to do that is to show your personality in a very big way

so that you defeat the stereotypes that might exist and sort of like her dating

clown what is one technique for something you do for your clients when

you're coaching them to help them get out of their shell and become more

outgoing and less what great question obviously that's

multi-faceted what I find is I wants to work with them and I introduced like

this technique called like P squared where it's both mental and physical so

there is a study done out of Harvard where if you did certain power poses

like a high-power pose versus a low-power pedal it's the idea of

basically taking up space and it's applied to men and women you introduce

more testosterone into your into your system which meant you or more energetic

more confident more assertive more bold while lowering the cortisol which is the

stress hormone so basically you just feel better right and so you can do that

you can do that for two and what starts happening is your brain

starts secreting testosterone and start slowing your cortisol all right so you

have a paused upset you don't believe me just start doing it by in science it

just it's sighs it's just going to start happening so it's doing a pose like this

you stand up straight and then you can stand up straight or you can be like

sitting down on the point is like potentially from a biological point of

view I believe like that acted like stretching your muscles yeah

right he just starts doing that to your brain and so that's one physical thing

that you can do and the other thing right is what I call confidence priming

all right you prime your mom because your body doesn't know the difference

between fear and excitement right it is the same physical symptoms yeah it's

just the story that you tell yourself are you telling yourself a good story a

confident story are you telling yourself a bullshit story

so imagine some really positive moment that made you feel really good that made

you feel pride in your accomplishment whether it's personal romantic or

professional it doesn't matter what matters is how you frame the feeling

about what you're about to go up to because you might think oh I'm going to

a girl is scary but then you imagine like how you

accomplished something that was amazing and so you've reframed and you take that

energy and you change into from fear into excitement so now you're you're

reframing your mental state and you're introducing a more physical positive

state and then that makes it a lot easier more effective because you know

your thoughts will affect your actions and you'll be a more effective talking

to girls. That's called P squared, power, posing and confidence primary. JT

in here I'm excited this looks really fun Wow a

lot of pieces here cool check this off so I'm going to go ahead and put this

together and the think we have some stickers to put on to if the best some

stickers could put on - awesome and the set of instructions and the cool play

mat sweet okay so you guys are going to help me put this cool set together so

first of all we got this base to the volcano here it snaps right in here and

then we have the erupting volcano piece which snaps in to here

and then we have the lava which goes right into the goth there okay then we

got some awesome stickers and they're numbered here it tells you exactly where

to place them so we're going to start with sticker number nine and that one

goes right on to the bottom of the slide there it's like steps going up and then

we have sticker number four when you find four yep there it is

actually no we got sticker number ten sorry for that oh that's more steps

going up and then it looks like sticker number nine which is also more steps

going up so you got dinosaur steps going up slide okay then we have these shapes

here so for this one we need to find a number three yep you got it right here

so let's go ahead and put on number three razor

wow this is fun and then we're going to need number two do you see a number two

so we got our cool pulled on what's next okay next we have this art way we need

to number five do you see them yep there they are

and then we need the other number five for the other side which would be right

two archways here you're going to face them opposite direction you're going to

take this piece with the rocks on here and snap it right on to here and then

the slide is going to slide right into the top of the rocks over there

sweet okay now let's get the big play mat okay so we had the play mat clear go

ahead and roll it out while it's a nice big play mat okay

let's check this out so first of all we're going to go ahead and place the

volcano right over there and then we will place the slide over here we have

the pool which is going to go right there and then

we have to spread out our plan so let's just put these into different areas

these plants you could put anywhere you want so there we go

okay now let's bring on the dinos okay this is our first dinosaur do you know

which one this is got like the spikes on his back he's got spikes on his tail he

is a herbivore and yes you're correct that is a Stegosaurus so we're going to

set this one up right there taking a drink out of the water and the next this

one is a huge long one with a long neck very heavy this one is also an herbivore

can you guess yes you're correct and it's an Apatosaurus we're going to go

ahead and place that one in the back there because she loves to eat plants

and then maksoon this one has three horns a big plate on

the back it is an herbivore so can you guess which one this is you're correct

it's a triceratops cool oh and the next one is the most dangerous this one is a

carnivore meaning it eats other animals big teeth

tiny little arm very scary looking what is this you are correct it's a t-rex

sweetie go ahead and place them up there okay so here is our play area this looks

like a fun playground and all of these dinos

look like they're babies so maybe when they're babies they could still get

along and not eat each other so first of all we got this awesome volcano so if

you hit here the volcano is going to erupt

ah throws the fire off the top of the volcano oh no here comes the lava they

better run for it then you've got all these plants here you got the

Apatosaurus here you got a little Cape opening here your dinosaurs can go

inside the cave over here you got a little pool with fish so the dinosaurs

could drink out of the pool there and then the Triceratops here could go here

and eat these plants or you could go play with the t-rex on the slide yay

down the slide he goes headfirst now it's the Triceratops turn will he make

it yay he made it down what about the

Stegosaurus come on mr. Stegosaurus yay he made it - and then the Apatosaurus

can he make him stop flipping yeah he did it so they all made it except the

t-rex let's give him another chance let's see can't he make it oh no he

keeps falling down but it's still a lot of fun Wow this is an awesome set guys

Remember Obama's scandal-free presidency?

Yeah me neither.

The former president and his attorney general Eric Holder were put on blast today by the

House Oversight Committee for stonewalling the investigation into the death of Border

Patrolman Brian Terry.

Terry was slain during Obama's failed and controversial gun-running program called Operation

Fast and Furious.

Operation Fast and Furious was a project run by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms

and Explosives (ATF) during the Obama administration.

The program involved allowing American gun shops to sell weapons to known Mexican drug

cartel members.

The guns were then supposed to be tracked so gang networks could be identified.

Patrolman Brian Terry.

Unsurprisingly, arming Mexican drug lords did not work out well for the Obama administration.

The FTA lost track of 1,400 of the 2,000 guns sold, and Patrolman Brian Terry may have been

killed by one of those weapons during a shootout with a gang on the Mexican border.

Brian Terry's suspected murderer was arrested last month, which may help bring more clues

to the investigation:

The House Oversight Committee tore into former attorney general Eric Holder's Justice Department

for attempting to hide details about Terry's death from his family.

Their 300-page report also blasted Obama's use of executive privilege to prevent Congress

from evaluating Fast and Furious Records.

Republican Iowa Senator Charles Grassley, who is now chairman of the Senate Judiciary

Committee, slammed the Department of Justice:

"The Department of Justice and ATF had no intention of looking for honest answers and

being transparent…In fact, from the onset, bureaucrats employed shameless delay tactics

to obstruct the investigation."

Wow.

I am so happy that these new revelations are coming to light.

I can only imagine how many more Obama scandals will be uncovered now that he is out of power.

How much he would chase to have his life back !...

He would spend a lot of money...

If he really knew what is level of Zikuy Harabim (kiruv)...

He would just run after it !

Just like he would run after his life !

There is a special department in heaven...

That doesn't let anyone in...

Except those that do Zikuy Harabim !

This Midrash says...If you have words sweet as honey and milk to say ''...

Say them !

If you don't have words sweet like honey or milk, then don't say them !

How amazing and sweet are the words of Rav Yaron Reuven...

How he B''H fills up halls in his lectures...

People come and wait for him till he arrives...

From all around the United States and all of Europe.

The people B''H find his lectures sweeter than honey !

He has B''H such a mastery for speaking.

And also he is able to answer questions about Halakhah (Jewish Law).

Many people come to ask him questions about Halakhah.

It is written in the Avot of Rabbi Nathan...

That a person who has acquired Torah knowledge and knows the Halakhot...

But if he doesn't know the Midrash...

He doesn't acquire the fear of sin.

It says that it is not enough that you just know the halakhah...

It is important to know the Midrashim

Midrashim teach a person Mussar (ethics) and Yirat Shamayim (fear of God).

A person that acquires the knowledge of the Midrash...

But he doesn't know the any of the Halakhot...

He cannot taste wisdom.

It is very important that a person has the wisdom of Torah and knowledge of the Halakhah...And also that he has the knowledge of Midrash and Mussar !

He is B''H filled with plentiful knowledge...

Of the Midrash, the Mussar and the Halakhot.

People discuss and talk with him...They phone him up and tell him...

From the questions that he has doubts on and doesn't know and has read many times in the Torah B''H...

He has come countless time to our Beit Midrash with complicated questions...

Complicated questions, which need help and advice for the final ruling from the Gedolei Torah (Important Torah Scholars)...

It is written in the Shulchan Aruch; Choshen Mishpat Siman 10...

Every Talmid Chacham (Important Torah Scholar) who comes to make a final ruling (on halakhah)...

And he rules it on the spot, without consulting or analyzing it.

Without checking the books on how if the particular halakah is correct...

He is called foolish, wicked and rude.

His heart disrespects the Torah !

But B''H Rabbi Yaron Reuven...

He, when sometimes asked difficult questions...

That need the further discussions and opinions of the Chachamim (wise rabbis)...

And consultation with those who specialize in this subject.

B''H he calls us to get our advice... And we have helped and advised him on many matters.

I remember once I heard from the mouth of...

(May his soul rest in peace) Maran Ha Rav Ovadia Yosef...May his memory be a blessing.

He once related...

That there once came people to the Beth Din... (Jewish court)

The first thought that came to his mind, was that Reuven was guilty and Shimon innocent.

But then the Rav relates...

He went back to his house, opened his books; and after he checked and wrote all the things down...

But he saw that the situation is the opposite...

That Reuven is innocent and Shimon guilty.

So that's why B''H many times...

When people come to our Beth Din...

With questions on Halakhah...

We, B''H are ready at all times...

We open books, see the rulings and verify them...

Then we answer the question...As it is required by the Halakhah after a lot of verification, and checking is done from various sources and books.

It is similarly with Rabbi Yaron Reuven...

When he brings us very complicated questions...

It reflects on his quality of humility.

And because of this humility of his...He is not always counting just on himself

But the simple questions that people ask him, he answers them right away...

If they are difficult he believes in the advice of the Gedolei Torah.

In the chapter for 'rescue'...

How great is the level of the Jews that help save the money and savings of their fellow Jews...

''Even the ones among you that are empty are full of mitzvot like a Pomegranate''.

This is to say that even empty (of Torah knowledge) ones among Am Yisrael...Those simple people who don't have much Torah or mitzvot...But if they truly go ahead and save the assets of Am Yisrael from the hand of the non-Jews...They have a very great reward in heaven.

And so moreover...

If they save the lives of Am Yisrael.

A person sees that a man drowns in the sea...

He dives inside despite the danger...He enters the depths of the sea...

And saves the Jew

Oh if ever Chas Ve Shalom (God forbid) there is a disaster or terror attack...But with full strength a person rescues his fellow Jew

How much reward he has for now saving the life of one of Am Yisrael !

And so the Rabbi of Pele Yoetz now says...

Just how much...How much reward you can imagine is for a person that saves the soul of a Jew !

And this is what Rav Yaron Reuven does B''H...

How many souls of Am Yisrael he has saved !

So that's why we call all of you to please support him !

Help him !

Assist Him!

hi guys well welcome back to my channel

I would like to share with you today

five tips on how to create your own

personal brand I know that this can be a

really hard process to do when you're

designing something for a client it's so

much easier to think about what's best

for them you can see them the way that

they dress the way that they talk and

carry themselves so much easier to

understand you know how to design a

brand that will represent them well and

I know that for yourself sometimes it's

a little bit hard even when you're

looking in the mirror you like so many

things you love so many colors and like

how can we choose how can we choose only

a set number of colors for our branding

package so I'm going to give you five

tips to help you narrow it down and

create a brand that really represents

yourself well so tip number one is just

get started just do something I know

that it can be hard to just get started

and take that first step but the first

thing you need to do is just create

something just anything that you think

might be the right thing and then once

you get that out on paper once you have

it out on a sketch pad or you create

something there on your computer you

will begin to see whether it's right or

wrong or what Avenue you need to go down

once you give it on on paper we are

visual people and so we need to look at

things visually and so that's the first

step I would have for you is just get

started just do something and then the

ball will start rolling down the hill

and you'll see results

tip number two is to ask the people

around you that knows you best so I

would go to your friends and family the

people that love you the most and will

be kind to you to accents if you were

describing me to a complete stranger

what would you say about me how would

you describe me what words would you use

this will give you an overall picture of

how people might view you disclaimer do

choose people that will be kind to you

tip number three is to use

Pinterest I know that this is something

that we all use and this is something

that is very popular but what I would do

is use Pinterest to give you an overall

brand a good tips for yourself is to

maybe find your best friend someone that

knows you the best and share a Pinterest

board with him have them post pictures

that remind him if you have been post

pictures that have the colors that

remind them of you or things that they

they relate to you this will give you a

visual of how people might think of you

usually there's an overall color scheme

that will pop out and that will give you

a good idea of what your color scheme

might need to be or it could be a good

launching pad for you to create your

color code

tip number four would be to use

adjectives right on the adjectives that

describe how you want people to feel

when they look at your brand or when

they visit your website also use

adjectives that people use when you ask

them the question of how they would

describe you write all of those down and

see what they all have in common

adjectives are a good way to paint the

picture to create a visual experience so

use adjectives to give you an overall

basis of what you want your brand to

represent number five would be to just

follow the process there's a process to

designing there's a process to things

that are creative so trust the process

and just to keep going you just create

and repeat create and expand you can

always change what you create you can

always expand but you can't exam on

something that's not creative so trust

the process and follow it through and

you will come out on the other end with

something that you're proud of and if

you're not then wash rinse and repeat

just create something else create

10 Things You Didn't Know About Mario Kart 8 - Duration: 3:15.

What's up, Mitten Squad?

My name is Paul and welcome back to another Top 10 video.

In this video, i'll be going over 10 Things You Didn't Know About Mario Kart 8.

Number 10.

Before the race starts on the Ribbon Road course, you can spot a poster that depicts

a Lakitu in a kung-fu like pose that says "Dragon Driftway The Movie, Kung Fu Lakitu,

coming Spring 2015".

This poster is referencing Dreamworks film and television series Kung Fu Panda.

Number 9.

Four cup icons can be found in the game's files.

They're icons are a Boo, a Blue Shell, a Shrine Sprite, and a Yoshi egg.

The lack of detail on the icons compared to used icons suggests that they are going to

be cups for possible Mario Kart 8 DLC.

Number 8.

You can see a billboard on the Toad Harbor course that reads "Shy Guy Metals, Since 1987".

The billboard references the first appearance of Shy Guys in the 1987 game Dream Factory:

Heart-Pounding Panic, which is actually a translation of the Japanese game that appears

on screen now.

Number 7.

Throughout the Ribbon Road course, you can spot various knitted Yoshi's around the

course.

There are 3 in total, a pink Yoshi, a blue Yoshi, and a green Yoshi.

These are references to both the three yarn Yoshi amibos available as well as Yoshi's

Yard Land.

Number 6.

The 1.1 update to Mario Kart 8 Deluxe altered one of the Inkling Girl's taunts because

the original animation could have been viewed as being an offensive gesture in certain areas.

Number 5.

In Mario Kart 8's Sunshine Airport track, the serial number "55402MS" can be seen

on crates on the carousel.

The code is a reference to Super Mario Sunshine's Australian and European release date, October

4th, 2002.

Number 4.

In the files for Mario Kart 8, you can find an emblem for Kamek that goes unused in the

game, suggesting that he was going to be a playable character at some point during Mario

Kart 8's development.

Number 3.

The sharp, raised turn on the retro version of the Mario Circuit track is supported by

an Ultra Arm.

The Ultra Arm references a toy made by Gunpei Yokoi, the Ultra Hand.

Yokoi is perhaps best known as the designer of the Gameboy.

Number 2.

There was a picture of Diddy Kong among other Mario characters in a Spanish copy of Official

Nintendo Magazine, suggesting that Diddy Kong was planned to be in the game at some point,

but was unfortunately cut.

Number 1.

A map of the city can be spotted on the wall at the beginning of the course on the Mario

Kart 8 DLC course Super Bell Subway.

The map seems to have a similar, if not identical, structural layout to the city below Mario

Kart 8 version of Mario Kart 64's Rainbow Road course.

Toad Harbor is also marked on the map, suggesting that the two courses are in similar areas

near Toad Harbor.

Ask for Pay Rise - Asking for more Salary! (Financial Self-Help) - Duration: 3:26.

Ninh explains, Asking for a Pay Rise So you're working at a job and you feel

that you deserve more.

You do more work than everyone else, you have more responsibility, you even do two or even

three people's other jobs.

It's really annoying when someone does less work than you and gets paid significantly

more for seemingly doing a lot less.

Now it's time to get what you deserve … here's how you ask for a pay rise.

1) If you don't ask, you don't get.

It's a common phrase, but one that's very true.

If you don't ask for a pay rise, your employer isn't just going to offer you one out of

the blue.

Many people feel embarrassed or even scared to ask for more money, but you gotta get over

the fear of asking for a pay rise.

It's your money at the end of the day.

So make a decision to at least ask.

The worst they can say is 'no'.

They can't fire you for it … well, not legally anyway.

2) Before you ask, come prepared.

Don't go in all guns blazing.

Do some research, see how much other people who do the same job role as you is earning.

If you have more than one responsibility – add that up, keep that figure in your head and

be prepared to use this figure if you're asked.

3) Justify WHY you deserve one.

Do you generate more income than your colleagues?

Do you save the company x amount of money?

Do you do the role of several people that would cost the company more, by outsourcing

or hiring separately?

When you do ask, you have to have a good reason why you deserve one … so start finding those

reasons why you deserve a pay rise and be prepared to use those when you negotiate.

4) Find a better offer … and use it against them.

It might be worthwhile applying for another job and seeing if they can offer you a better

deal.

Even if you go to the interview just to see what they can offer you, and then you can

use that against your current employer.

Play them off against each other, see if you can use a new offer to leverage a better deal

on your current employment.

It sounds a little shady, but it happens all the time.

If your current employer has any sense, they'll probably give you the pay rise anyway, just

to save the hassle of hiring someone else, training them up, and losing business whilst

they're learning the ropes.

5) Be prepared to walk.

If you do have a better offer and your current employer isn't budging, now's the time to

seriously think about jumping ship.

Look guys, life is too short to work for an employer who doesn't give a damn about you

and who won't pay you accordingly.

You might be better off, you might be worse off.

But you'll never know unless you go out there and give it a try.
