Youtube daily report Oct 21 2018

- [Crew Member] Styles for different things

or occasions take one.

(trumpet buzz)

Hey guys, and welcome back to the channel.

My name is Thomas if you're brand new,

and I make style and related videos every single week.

So if that's your kind of thing,

make sure you hit the subscribe button

and come back and visit me every single Monday.

So in this video, I'm gonna be documenting

different longhair styles but different occasions.

I had somebody in the Facebook group,

if you haven't joined yet, make sure you go and join it.

Shameless plug.

I had somebody in the Facebook group asked about this.

Like different longhair styles

that they could do for different occasions.

And I found just by listening to you guys,

that things like going for a job interview

or going to your formal or even like, casual.

Deciding which hairstyles are going to work for longer hair,

is a little bit tricky, because let's face it,

the guys with the short hair,

they can just go shaving sides look sleek,

bit of blue man whee!

And they look they look good for any occasion, right?

But what about us?

We struggle with big fuzziness,

we still struggle with the length,

we struggle with looking presentable

in the corporate sense.

There are so many issues with that.

And yeah, you're right, there's a definite need

for this type of content.

So I'm going to make some.

Oh, there's so many.

I thought I'd break it down

into four different segments as well.

So we've got formal, we've got semi formal,

we've got business and we've got casual.

So there's going to be a lot of hairstyles

that I mentioned here.

Some crossover as well.

Some can work with all different ones.

And then others are just specifically like,

whoa, you just don't cross that line.

So for a formal event.

Let's define what a formal event is first.

A formal event to me would be something like,

a YouTuber event, or a red carpet event,

or maybe even like a, I don't know,

a book launch or something like that,

or your actual formal at school.

Or I think you call it in America,

what do they call it?

Prom.

Various dress codes and stuff that go with that.

And the ones that I've got.

So number one would be something like beach waves.

So if we take Johnny Depp for example,

he's a very good classic example of that.

He does the whole beach wave look,

with it pushed back.

It looks semi messy but it's still like

it's still looks very professional.

Obviously he's got a hairstylist that does it all the time.

And his hair is sort of a medium length,

so he can really pull it off.

But I wouldn't even restrict that to longer hair

even like mine.

Like if you look at the chapter hair styling video

I did with brides and their styling cream,

that's look it was a very clean, crisp curl controlled look.

And I think that suits a formal environment.

So something like those curls

or beach waves would look good.

Or something similar to the Johnny Depp style

would be a good option.

You've also got things like the neat low man bun.

So kind of like what I've got today

but a little bit neater.

So if I were to do a neat Low Man Bun,

I'd probably straighten all of this

and then tie it in the exact position that's in now.

Or I do a neat medium bun,

so like up here around the middle section.

I probably wouldn't do a high bun for a formal event,

because it's very like peew!

It almost like I don't know people could have

very mixed judgments on it.

Not that they don't have mixed judgments on men buns

as it is already.

But yeah I would leave the the high one alone

and I would just go with a medium and a low

neat man bun maybe.

That would be a lot better,

cause they're need they're tidy and they look formal.

Another one on the list that I had for a formal

would be something like a sleek back.

I probably wouldn't do is sleeked back

with the length of my hair is at now.

But when my hair was more to about here,

remember I did that sleeked back hair style

with the Hybrid Cream Clay.

That length I think would be very appropriate

especially for formal sleeking it back.

Or if you've got a disconnected undercut as well,

ages ago, like we're talking three years,

I did a sleek back with my disconnected under cut.

I really liked how it looked at the time.

And I think that also fits into the formal category.

So remember, we're just looking for like clean, not messy.

You just want to avoid messy at all costs essentially.

The last one I had on this list as well

was like a low ponytail.

So I think with a low ponytail straightened as well.

I think a low ponytail that's bushy.

Like if I put my hair right now into a ponytail,

it would just look messy and not great.

I think a straightened ponytail worn low

is very conservative.

And it's also something that we say like,

I feel like it's in that real old time

where everyone used to sail on ships.

You know, like the real important people,

they'd have those big curly wigs,

but with like a very straight conservative ponytail

at the back the men would.

And I think obviously, without the big Kelly boots

at the top.

I think using something like the conservative ponytail

just flying down the back,

it can look really nice,

especially for a formal sort of event.

Okay, so that's formal off the rank.

Now next, we've got semi formal.

So that's a step down from a actual formal event.

So we talked about red carpets and you know, glitzy events.

I would classify semi formal,

maybe it's like a birthday dinner,

where you're going to a nice restaurant,

or you're hanging out with your friends.

Or you could be going to, you know,

some kind of family gathering

where you need to look presentable,

so it's kind of like that, that formality about it.

But it's also,

about adding a little bit more of yourself personality.

Cause it's semi formal, half formal, if you like.

So you can bring half formal and half yourself.

That's how I look at it anyway.

So hairstyles that I've got for that

is like an asymmetrical curly hair style.

I like wearing this after I've used something like

the Monarch Paste.

I kind of just swoop all of this hair over to the side

have a little bit tuck behind here.

Have a little flowing down.

Put product in it, so it looks tidy.

But it's asymmetrical and I think

that's a really groovy look.

That's the personality part

and I would probably wear,

I don't know maybe like a dress shirt

or something plain and conservative like this.

Like something black and tight I think looks quite smart.

I also think the semi formal any neat man bun variation

can work here.

The low neat man bun, the medium neat man bun

and also the high neat man bun

in this one because again, I said,

it's time to bring a bit of personality.

So if the high man bun in an neat version is,

a bit more indicative of your personality.

Sure, go for it.

You're at a dinner with your friends,

you most likely with people that you know,

and they get who you are.

It's like time to show a bit of like, what you like to do.

But keep it neat.

Another honourable mention, I think as well

would be something like RockStar kills.

You know, like the whole Harry Styles look.

He's kind of got asymmetrical RockStar kills.

I think that's quite cool.

He somehow gets away with it on the red carpet.

But I guess because he's that famous.

Like that's everyone knows who he is.

So that's where different here look, we're just normal.

But yeah, to a semi formal thing.

Even going to the movies, something like that,

RockStar kills asymmetry, I think that can work as well.

I've also put in here like the sideswiped with an undercut.

You guys really liked that hairstyle on me when I had it.

And I would just like have my side shaven

but then flop it all over to the side

and have it dangling down here.

It's quite a I don't know it's a indicative of personality.

But also it can look quite sleek,

especially if straightened and

with the right products in it.

Also, if you have an undercut,

you could also try the man braid with the man bun

and your undercut.

I still think this looks very sleek.

It's one way that you can kind of get all of you hair

in a controlled manner.

You can show off a bit of that personality,

you can show bit of like difference

and it still looks very like tidy, and neat.

And I think what contributes to that,

is the sides being shaven, and having that clean cut.

For me now, like if I would wear all braids,

I'd probably get flagged for cultural appropriation.

I don't know it's just a little bit more woo in your face,

I would probably keep that more casual,

if you're gonna do all braids.

But that's just my two sense on that.

And the last one in the semi formal area.

I think something like the half up

half down man bun is really good.

Or like the Jon Snow high bun,

that's been one of my favourite hairstyles to wear lightly.

For casual and semi formal.

It's, again, another one of those hairstyles

that's indicative of personality.

But also, it's just one of my favourite things

that I've been wearing.

And I think it looks really good.

Owkey! Pokey!

Now moving on to category number three.

So this is business, there's so little that you can do here,

it's probably going to be the easiest section

because the corporate world for some reason,

they just want to constrict everyone to being

this one way wearing black and white and tidy hair.

It's kind of like private schools,

I just want to give them all the finger

because it's just a so restricting.

I'm lucky that I can work doing my YouTube stuff.

And I work online, I actually work from home.

And so I don't really have any restrictions

and how I can look, but I still am in business.

And I can do that.

So I've seen the other side of corporate

and it doesn't have to be so restricted.

However, our culture is built around

a really restricted business settings.

So you do have to have that clean haircut.

You have to have, like, very prim and proper,

you got away like tuxedos or like dress, it's dressy.

Right?

I cannot stress that enough.

On top of that, like going to job interviews,

knowing that the fact our culture's like that

you do want to go into a business

like interview or a meeting.

Or if you're getting hired for a job,

you do want to make sure you following that corporate look,

because first impressions really count

if you're going for a job that you really want.

Like we mean bidness.

So enough rambling on that,

but let's get into the hairstyles.

So with these, I've put a neat low man bun.

So again, if you had hair like me,

I would straighten the f out of it,

and then make it look really sleek and tuck it down below.

Just so it's very conservative,

or I would not be reluctant to test the waters

but I still think it's possible to where the mid man bun.

Because if you look at it, they're not that much different.

Like in the placing of them.

So you could go with a neat or middleman bun but very neat.

And you could also if you've got the undercut again,

the sleeked back could really work with that as well,

because you has a lot of face it's sleek down,

you look clean cut,

and you can go from there.

That's allowed in same business very restricted.

And if you can get a job on the internet,

there's so many ways to make money these days.

Like who needs corporate.

Alright, moving on to our last category which is casual.

Now this all comes down to your friend network.

How you feel about yourself inside,

what you're doing with your look,

it's pretty much free rein on anything you want.

messy, bla-bla-bla-bla-bla you got it.

The ones that I listed,

like the ones that are my favourite out and crazy.

So wearing all my hair out

after I just add a little bit of product to it.

I'm really, really loving that right now.

Side, swooping so that again,

like that can look really good messy as well.

And you want to be shining out your personality.

Doing a hairstyle like that is great.

You can do it straight, wavy curly, messy really tight.

Whatever you want.

I feel like a side swoop always looks good.

Also messy waves.

So again, very similar to the Johnny Depp style.

I think this is perfect for casual as well

if you can pull it off.

Getting a Keratin treatment

has allowed me this function

of being able to wear messy sex hair.

It's my favourite thing.

You could also try with different accessories

like caps and hats.

For me wearing a hat like a fedora.

I think that's totally fine for casual setting,

with you going on a picnic going to the movies as well.

Hanging out at home,

hanging out at a barbecue with your friends.

Like whatever a hat a cap anything like that accessory wise,

kind of suits the casual setting.

Because really when you pull up to the casual setting,

you're pulling up as you, like it's cash.

I'd also recommend braids as well,

depending on whether you have,

the undercut or not.

Even hair like mine,

I still catch myself wearing braids every now and again.

I'll either do like two along here or I'll do three.

So two along here and one along there.

Or even do four, whichever you feeling,

you can do that as well in the casual sense.

And lastly I think just any type of man bun you want,

so you could be like high messy, high or low,

neat low, neat messy, like every neat messy?

But every variation I did in my 10 men bun hairstyles video,

you could go with that with casual as well.

I don't think anybody has the right to tell you

what you can do with casual.

It's up to you and how you really feel.

That's essentially it,

but they are my favourite things to do.

And that brings us to the end of this video.

So I hope you guys actually found that pretty informative.

It is quite a confusing topic like what's formal.

What semi formal what's business attire?

What's this blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah.

And knowing what hairstyles to wear,

especially when you got long hair,

I do know that it can be quite tough.

So I really hope I was able to bring you

some value here today.

If you have any questions make sure you shoot me a comment

Amazon Listing Translations by Native Translators with eCommerce knowledge - Duration: 8:59.

Do you want to expand to non-english marketplaces of Amazon and are you struggling to find a

good translator with ecommerce knowledge?

Check out my interview with Jana Krekic from YLT Translations and see how can they help

you to prepare your listings for other languages.

Hello Jana.

Hi Augustas.

How are you?

I'm good, thank you.

Can you tell us what YLT does and what kind of problems does it solve for Amazon sellers?

Of course.

We've been doing a lot of translation services for different Amazon sellers for the past

two years, both from one that only have 1 ASIN to seven figure sellers.

And we help people with listing of translations and all other things that have to do with

translation.

So customer templates, Q&A templates, headline search ads translation.

So from my previous experience, what I noticed is that when people try to sell international

expend to other markets, they have the problem with the language barrier.

A lot of customers that come from the US and the UK, they don't have English as their native

language.

So still some sellers do also have their listings in English, even though they're selling in

French market or Spanish market, so they need to get this translated.

So what they do is that they contact random translation agency, but they send their listings

as a regular text so they get a regular text translated back.

And why is this a problem, is because when you get a translation which is done as a regular

text, you don't get either keywords done, you don't get your backends, and these translators,

they don't see this as a potential sale growth, or as a text which will sell your product.

They will just see this as a regular translation, and that's why you need somebody who's going

to get the approach from the Amazon sellers view.

So what can happen and what we help you solve are the problems which can happen from this,

which is losing money because your prouducts does not show so often.

So visibility of the product is poor.

Because when the customer search for the keywords for this product in search query, the Amazon

algorithm which is constantly changing, does not recognize this product, so it doesn't

show up.

Second of all, they're losing customers this way.

Your clickthrough rate goes down and ofcourse you're losing money.

So how do you avoid all these problems, and this is where we step in, in the game.

So we solve your problems like this, and how do we do this is that we optimize your listings,

we localize your listings.

So I get a list of questions like what is localization?

Localization is that you know your market.

So local products, local stock, also, you don't know if the product is going to be successful

or not.

In the other market, for instance, I just read some article, and I took an example of

David Hasselhoff, so we all know the Baywatch guy, The Hoff.

So he was an example of localization on a successful product in Germany because he was

considered as like one of the best German singing stars after the opening of the Great

Wall, while as in the states, nobody like his music.

They didn't like his singing at all, but he was super successful in Germany.

So you'll never know unless you try and you research the market, and you know your market

how it's going to be.

Also, one of the important thing is our translators and not only native, they're also marketers

and also in YLT whoever comes as a top translator to us.

We have our internally designed MLT course, which stands for Marketing Lead Translation,

and that means that we take the top quality translators and then we basically transfer

them into copywriters for ecommerce in the respect of languages.

And last and most important is we have our secret sauce.

So we basically have our strategy about where we replace keywords.

We have different strategies for lengths of bullets and titles and product descriptions.

And of course we do keyword research in the target language.

So we never translate any of the keywords or anything which come from the original English

listing.

We do our keywords listing on our own, our translators do this.

So we all do this in order for you to make sales because this is what's going to sell

the product amongst other things.

And how do you deal with the crap listings?

Let's say English listing has very bad copy.

Do you prevent such orders ?

We always offer free audit of your listings.

I have a lot of sellers that approached me, and they tell me we've got this listing is

done but it's not making any sales.

So what do we do?

So I just tell them like I'm going to make a free audit of your listings.

So we point out what was done wrong poorly or what can be improved.

And then we give our offer for our listings.

So this is when it comes to already translated listings.

When it comes to the original English listing or maybe German original listing because we

also do a translation from German and other languages, not only for the English basic

language for the listing.

I always point out if the English listing is bad or not because we don't want to do

a translation of a poorly written listing because this is not going to give you any

results.

I don't want a customer or a client to come back to me and say we didn't get any results

because it was your fault, so I don't want to do anything which is going to have a really

that basic text, so I can point out and I can tell you this was done bad.

I want you to correct it and then we will like to do it because we want to do things

properly.

We also have an In House translator which writes English lessons from scratch, so we

can also help you with that.

Complete listings, titles, bullets, product description and EBC.

What kind of languages do you operate?

We offer translations to 4 European languages, German, French, Spanish and Italian.

We also do Spanish for Mexican market, and we're one of the few who offer Japanese language

as well.

Oh, that's great.

Can you tell us a little bit about your prices?

Yes.

So our prices per listing per language, they started from 90 euros and in this basic package

we offer keyword research and the target language, title bullet, product description, EBC translations

and backends keywords strengths.

And we also want to emphasize that we did not have any word limit.

So this is a no word limit offer.

So it doesn't matter if your listing has 400 or 2,000 characters, we're going to do it

for the same price, whereas our competitors always set the word limit and they charge

listing for language, €150.

And so our prices are really competitive.

We also offer keyword databases for language, which is €30.

So for that you can get a keyword database with reverse ASINS from your competitors and

you can get a really good overview of your top keywords using your PPC campaigns and

other search terms.

We also do follow up emails and customer keyword templates.

Prices here start from $0.11 per word.

So this is a regular translation, doesn't involve any keyword research, it's just a

plain translation, that's why it's charge is per word, and also ads translation, it

also charges per word, prices start from $0.10 per word.

Perfect.

Then what's the best way to get in touch with you?

We have our online chat so you can get to talk to me or to my coworkers over there,

it's on our webpage at the bottom right corner, little pop up.

So you can leave your email and you can start chatting immediately with us or you can send

us an email at info@ylt-translations.com or if you are interested in partnership deals

or any other business promotions, you can contact us on corporate@ylt-translations.com.

And the is the website address ylttranslation.com?

It's www.ylt-translations.com.

And if you're struggling with remembering, YLT stands for Your Listing Translations.

Perfect Jana.

Thank you very much and good luck in your business.

GRAPHING LINEAR INEQUALITIES » how to shade & find the solution set | Math Hacks - Duration: 10:42.

Today on Math Hacks, we are graphing linear inequalities.

By the end of today's tutorial you'll be well on your way to solving and graphing linear inequalities of all kinds including

Knowing how to solve a system of two linear inequalities. whenever you're working with linear inequalities. There are a few things you need to remember

first when you multiply or divide by a negative number

You must flip the sign and I will show you exactly what that looks like in our examples today

Two, the greater than or less than symbols always translate into

dashed lines when you graph and

The greater than or equal to and the less than or equal to symbols translate into solid lines when you graph

So let's take this first example here

I have 2x minus y is greater than five now. We want to graph this linear inequality

So even though I have this inequality symbol here

I'm going to treat this a lot like we would treat a

Normal linear equation, and I'm going to solve for y to get it into y equals MX plus B form

So the first thing I want to do is subtract 2x over

And

Then I need to get rid of the negative symbol on this Y and to do that

I'm going to divide each term by negative one

And here is where our first rule comes into play

we need to flip this greater than symbol into a less than symbol because we divided by a negative number so

This gives us our equation that we're going to graph and is going to be a line that crosses through the y-axis at negative five

And has a slope of two. now before I graph this I just want to make a note:

let's say that we have this 2x minus y is greater than five and instead of

Subtracting the 2x over I simply added the Y over. Let's see what that would give us

So notice how these two equations are really the same equation

This is why we need to flip the symbol when we divide it by the negative number and make sure that everything stays consistent

No matter how I go ahead trying to solve the problem

So to graph this equation we are going to start with a y-intercept of negative 5

Then I'm going to plot a slope of 2 over 1 so rise 2 and run 1

And

here's the tricky part now because this is a

Less than symbol and not a less than or equal to symbol. We are going to connect the dots with a dashed line

So the dashed line signified that the points that are actually on this line

Do not satisfy the inequality

So if I try to plug in one of these points, let's just choose one here, like (3,1) is a point

So if I plugged in 3 for X, I would have 2 times 3 which is 6 minus 5

which is 1 and then I plugged in the corresponding Y value of 1 I have the inequality that 1 is less than

1 and that's not true

So that's why we have to have a dashed line just to signify that these points all on this line

Do not satisfy our inequality

The last part here is to shade the area that does satisfy our equation

So our equation says that y is less than our line

So when we look at our XY coordinate we notice that the Y-axis is the vertical

Axis, and it goes up to positive numbers and down towards negative numbers

So if I want Y values that are smaller than our line then I want things that are underneath the line

So I'm going to shade this portion right here

If you're a little unsure of whether you shaded the correct portion what you can do is test a point

So I'm going to choose a point in the shaded region. Let's just go for something nice and easy

so how about this point here on the

X-axis looks like it's one two three

Four over and zero up so it's the point (4,0)

I'm just going to plug in those coordinates for X and Y into our equation and see if the statement holds

And when I do that I get zero is less than three because that is a true statement

I know that I have shaded the correct region

So once again because I want to make a graph of this line

I'm going to solve for y so that I can graph it from slope intercept form

Remembering that if I multiply or divide by a negative anywhere in the course of solving this problem. I'm going to flip the symbol around

So notice here when I was working with the fractions

I have negative 1/3 divided by negative 2 and negative 2 is the same as negative 2 over one

So I simply multiplied by the reciprocal of negative 2 so my product became negative 1/3 times negative

1/2 which yielded me with a fun 6 also because I was dividing by a negative number

I made sure to flip the less than or equal to symbol into a greater than or equal to symbol now

Let's go ahead and graph this equation. I

Want to mark the y axis at negative 1

And then apply a slope of 1 6 so up 1 and over 6 now

Because this time I do have the greater than or equal to symbol that means that I want to include the points on the line

So I can go ahead and draw a solid line through this

The last step is to shade the correct region here I want Y values that are greater than our line

So the Y value gets larger as I go up, so I'm going to shade above this

If you're unsure if you show you the right region once again

We can pick a point and plug it into the equation

The easiest point in this shaded region to check is the origin (0,0) here

So I'm just going to plug in 0 and 0 for X and Y in this equation and see if it holds

When I do that I get 0 is greater than or equal to negative 1 that is true so I have shaded the correct region

The last thing I want to show you is how to graph two linear inequalities simultaneously

so sometimes they might give you a problem where you have two inequalities and

They want you to shade the region that is a solution for both

so what you want to do here is begin just like our previous examples when you're solving just one inequality and

Solve for y so you have a nice form to graph from so I'm gonna do that for both equations

Remembering that if I multiply or divide by a negative number at any point I flip the symbol

The next thing I want to do is plot these two lines on the same XY coordinate axis

again, remembering that this line because it doesn't have an equal symbol will get a dashed line and this one because

It does have the equal to symbol will get a solid line

All right, so I graphed both of these lines on my XY coordinate axis here

I have the dashed line that goes through

positive four with a slope of 4

I

Just extended the line a little bit because the first time I drew it I noticed it was a little bit short on this end

And then here I have the line that Y is less than or equal to negative x minus 2

So here I'm going to just lightly shade the correct regions for both of these

So for our dashed line, we want Y values that are larger than the line. So we want to go above our line

Now when you have a really steep line like this

It can be a little bit confusing to see if we look right at this point where it crosses

The larger values are clearly on this side. So I'm going to lightly shade this region and

Then for our solid line, we want Y values that are smaller than it

So I want to shade Milot it so here's our line. Here's our y-axis

The values are smaller on this side. So I'm going to lightly shade below the line

Now here is the really important part

notice that when you shaded the region for the first line in the region for the second line, we have a region that

overlaps

That overlapping region is the region that is the solution to this system of inequalities

So I want to make sure it's really obvious that that is the overlapped part

So I'm just gonna shade it a little bit darker so it stands out

This is the solution area for both inequalities

I have a lot more algebra tutorials just like this one over on the Math Hacks Channel

So go check it out. Till next time I'm Brett and thank you so much for joining me.

Why I started a diary... - Duration: 7:49.

hi YouTube this is my first kind of entry if you will into my YouTube

channel this is where I'm gonna be giving an insight into my life what it's

like to be a working musician and what it's like to be me so if you don't know

me already my name is Ben Pryer and I'm a singer a songwriter a guitarist and a

producer and a bit of everything really I guess one of my main projects that I'm

working on is called Ben prior and the lucky dogs and we are a fifties a 1950s

rock and roll and a tribute band if you will and so we do a lot of events for

you know 50s themed parties and weddings and things like that and then a lot of

back to the future events as well which is fun but it's really cool to do and I

enjoy that and then of course I'm also a solo singer songwriter my comfy

kind of ed sheeran style and I do many weddings and parties and things like

that and I was so a bit more on the self indulgent side and do some of my own

songwriting as well and I have an album that's I'm gonna put somewhere like

maybe here maybe I put a picture of it you can go and check that out

on Spotify and all that I'm also involved in a few other projects as well

probably one I'm most excited about is a touring theatrical show that I can't

wait to get going with and I think it's gonna be really good fun and I also work

closely with a company called ear candy who provide the ultimate wedding

experience and I'm in a band at then put the indie 'its I did not best to notice

when the car came down the line up to the platform of surrender I was born but

I was kind

when I see an open don't close your eyes

the

but I also want to give a ton of advice to other singer songwriters or musicians

that might be wanting to try and make this full-time or people just starting

out I want to give you guys advice as well and I want this to be the start of

hopefully something really really cool and really nice it's a place that I feel

that everyone is welcome and I think that's really needed in times like this

I'm really excited to get into YouTube and to share what I've learned with

others but also share what I will learn with others and my journey I like that I

think that's exciting but the main reason I think of why I started what I

call an online diary is that I found that I have really bad memory and I

think that's something that scares me a little bit not having a good memory you

kind of look back at things and go I don't remember that and I wanted to

document things and I wanted to write things but I found it too difficult to

constantly find the words and the right things to say in text format but

speaking it feels a bit more natural to me and I think that's exciting

and so who's this channel for I guess anyone really if you're if you like what

I do if you want to follow my musical career if you just think it's gonna be

quite fun which it will be following me then please do but mainly it's for

anyone whether you're a musician or not if you are a musician then hopefully

there's gonna be a lot of things that you can learn and and by some of the

mistakes that I have and will inevitably make and also from some tips that I can

give but also just an insight into what it's like to work an unconventional job

which I think a lot of people are doing these days and I know that when I first

became self-employed I wanted someone to kind of go it's gonna be alright yeah

you know you're gonna be okay I still need that now which i think is kind of

why I'm doing this as well it's a bit of self reassurance and so I can look back

on these and and kind of see where I've been

and keep a diary of where I've been and so it's a bit of everything and I guess

that's why I've created this online video diary or it's just a vlog I guess

I think I'm just trying to spice it up a bit too much make it seem something that

it's not but I'm not I promised I think for me it's gonna feel like an online

diary because not remembering things is really frightening I don't have a

terrible memory but there's just so many things that I feel I just don't remember

and that's what this is for so over the course of however long I do this I hope

to take everyone on a journey of the shows that I play what it's like to be a

working musician and to play in front of different people each night and to play

in front of few people and lots of people and then show you guys what life

is like on the road I guess but then also some tips on if you are a singer or

if you like to sing and you think that you could take it a bit further or you

just want to improve in yourself and I think that this is gonna be really fun

for you I hope that some of my videos can help people as well that are feeling

a bit low and you're trying to find your little escape route maybe I can help out

with that I certainly through singing I mean if you enjoy singing then there's a

no better escape route than that I hope that I can give you some tips on how to

make your experience and singing what a bit more personally enjoyable or playing

guitar I want to do some guitar tips as well and for any aspiring songwriter is

out there as well give you guys some tips but really I'm just really excited

to be documenting my time and I think it's really important to do that as well

I think it can really improve self-esteem as well and I think if you

can look back all the amazing

okay we got time that's all right it's not like I want to go to bed sweet

where was that I'll seal it I've forgotten my sentence how Bad's that

we're talking about however get things are now forgotten my own sentence maybe

I think it's really important to look back on the things that you've done to

see all the incredible things you've done and and kind of go yeah I've

accomplished so much so thank you so much if you sat through

this whole thing I'm not sure if you did that if you did then thank you and if

you do think that this might interest you somewhere down the line even if you

just want to follow me touring and and see in different places then please do

or if you want to get some singing and guitar tips and please subscribe to me

yeah but don't feel forced to of course it's completely your choice if any of

this interests you then certainly but if it doesn't then don't worry yeah thank

you so much for watching I'll see you very soon

with the kind of first installment on this youtube channel of my new endeavors

I guess so that's why I started a diary video diary

YouTube YouTube channel she'll just ended up Chandler yes thanks

Footage in Melbourne City Chinatown [V-Log] - Duration: 6:21.

Butter toast and kueh teoh mee (noodles), and teh tarik.

I'm walking at the Melbourne Fitzroy garden, it's a pretty chilly today

its around 18 degrees Celsius, thats why I'm wearing my sweaters and can

have a walk around the garden and later in the afternoon gonna have some lunch

Plan to go to the Malaysian restaurant.

Seriously only 10? I don't see any possums.

Oh my god, it is very shiny today, just finished my lunch, and going back to my hotel, I'm going to get dark soon.

But its still very cold. I'm going back to my hotel room

Can you see the cathedral behind me?

Put it in, then press the button....

Oh god man, this is hot. There's a courtyard, this is the building, nothing pretty fancy.

So I'm going to show you a quick tour on my room, what really fascinates me about a 5-star hotel is

the bathrooms, so I'm going to show it to you. I'm entering the bathroom.

So this is how it looks like, firstly wardrobe, and my stuff, I'm going to leave that first.

And of course you have your bathtub and I have a customized soap for

this bath and all these things, they have provided you shampoos and what really

interesting is this mouthwash fresh mint. So another one is this toilet, which is....

So what really fascinates me about, its the coffee machine, so most of the

hotel, they have this coffee machine, where you can have your capsules over

here, so you can choose whatever capsules that you want. This is on, all you have to do

is put a cup over here and put this capsule and press this button.

and another thing I want to show you guys is that normally they

will give you the tea bags for English Creakfast, you got Earl Grey, Pepper Mint, Lemon and Ginger

Green tea and this is very nice, you know, they give you the

chocolate so every time I keep one in my bag, so I have lots of it and also the

Mocha Kenya style coffee bags. So this is the interesting part that I found in a

5-star hotel and of course the big TV which is usual, the desk and the

Bluetooth speaker and the view. That's all about it so this is my working

v-log, so if you see that I'm keep on eating Malaysian food because I miss Malaysia

so much and of course I've been eating western food for the past few days, I'm

just getting very annoyed and fed up with the food here, so that's why every

time I eat Malaysian food, I would just you know, record it and take pictures and

show it to my friends, show it to my family, that I miss Malaysia so much.

All right I think that's all about it, I'll see you guys soon all right

Weekly Entertainment Wrap Up #94 [CC] - Duration: 6:19.

Hi, YouTube, it's Kathy, and this is my Weekly Entertainment Wrap Up for October 14th to 20th.

This week I read 3 books and DNF'd a 4th, I watched 2 shows, and I listened to 2 books.

The book I DNF'd this week was the short story The Body by Stephen King.

I had been reading this for the Books in the Freezer readathon, but King kind of lost me

when we had a whole chapter where the protagonist told us this story that he wrote in college,

which has nothing to do with the plot of this story.

This story is about a group of kids going on a trek to see a corpse.

It was also the basis for the movie Stand By Me which I don't think I've ever seen

but last weekend Wil Wheaton walked right by the table where I was selling swords last, so

at least I have now seen him in three dimensions.

I kind of wanted to sell him a claymore, but didn't want to start a nerd riot by pointing

out that he was there.

This week I read Tokyo Ghoul Volume 3 by Sui Ishida.

This is a manga about a human who gets into an accident and winds up part ghoul, fearsome

creatures, who prey on humans.

Being the third in a series, there's not much I can say about this volume that won't

be a spoiler, but I did want to discuss something related.

My ability to retain what happened in previous volumes doesn't seem to be super strong,

so I end up confused if people are referenced just by name but not actually shown on the page.

Does anyone else feel this way about serialized stories?

The next story I finished was The Travelling Cat Chronicles by Hiro Arikawa.

This book was sent to me by the publisher for an honest review, although the first time

they sent it, I received was a torn, empty package.

Thanks, Canada Post.

This book comes out on Tuesday and follows the relationship between a man and a

cat who lives outside his apartment building.

Due to a turn of events, the cat ends up living with the man, until five years later, when

he needs to find a new home for it.

The man and cat go on trips together to various old friends of the man, looking for the right

fit, and we learn a lot about this man's past.

I'm not going to lie; this is the second book about a cat that has made me cry.

The first book was Dewey, about a real cat who lived in the public library in Spencer, Iowa.

This story is written and translated in such a way where you can tell when Nana, the cat,

is speaking, without the use of quotation marks, which are reserved for human speech.

The adventures are heart-warming, and if you are cat person, this is a must read book.

The last book I read this week was The Fearsome Foursome by Amicus Arcane.

This is a book of four stories about the titular Fearsome Foursome, who find themselves locked

in The Haunted Mansion.

These four have a club where they trade scary stories, but on this night, the librarian

tells stories about them.

This is a middle grade book, and as such it kept the gore in check, but it was a fun read nonetheless.

I'm also just a fan of Disney's Haunted Mansion, so it was fun to revisit it in this way.

One of the shows I watched this week was Riverdale, because I am trying to rewatch the first two

seasons before talking about it this weekend at GeekGirlCon.

I'm nearing the end of the first season, but also have the Sbooktober Readathon this

week, so I don't know if I'm going to finish a complete rewatch in this time.

Especially since I sort of have to finish all my books before I leave on Thursday.

Regardless, the art and cinematography direction in this show makes for a beautiful watching

experience, and the cast is full of quips, so I am sure the panel will have lots to talk about.

As for Survivor, we finished watching season 10 and stayed current on season 37.

I was unsurprised by the winner of season 10, but definitely surprised as to how the

last immunity challenge went down.

I also keep learning little tidbits about how the show is produced, which makes for

a more interesting watching experience.

This week I listened to Crazy Rich Asians by Kevin Kwan.

This is a family saga following the various cousins, aunties, uncles, parents, and grandparents

of the richest families in Asian.

Nick Young lives in New York but is traveling back to Shanghai for the wedding of his best

friend, and brings his girlfriend of two years along.

She doesn't know that his family is well off, let alone that they are the 1% of the 1%.

I enjoyed that the perspective shifted amongst the various characters in this story, which gave

a more full picture of the extravagance and opulence, as well as more insight into the

personal lives of the characters.

This type of trip is one that I am very unlikely to experience first hand, so seeing the decadence

this way was welcome, even if it came with a lot of entitled characters that I would

want to avoid at all costs, and attitudes that normalize cheating, which is never okay

unless everyone consents, in which case, it's not cheating.

Speaking of consent, the last book I listened to this week was The Kiss Quotient by Helen Hoang.

This book is about Stella, an autistic econometrician, and Michael, the mixed race escort she hires

to teach her about sex once her mother makes a plea for grand babies.

Stella has had sex before, but it was never a really pleasant experience,

and she's never had a boyfriend.

Michael uses escorting to pay some bills that his day job just will not cover, and although

he has a policy of only seeing a client once, he agrees to help Stella with her project,

fulfilling a fake to real relationship trope with tons of self doubt on both sides.

Stella doesn't ever tell Michael about what she calls her label, and he never tells her

why he needs the extra income, but they end up finding out, and each assuming the

other is too good for them.

This was full of sexy times, with clear boundaries, where the proceedings would stop if someone

became uncomfortable, and the best part about listening to this audiobook was how often

it got dirty while I was just sitting on the bus on the way to work and none of the other

passengers knew what I was listening to.

This book deals with diagnosis, sensitivities and neurodivergent cognition, family trauma,

intergenerational family issues, sex work, disappointment, guilt, and love, and the various

layers of the narrative wrapped me up in the story.

I thoroughly enjoyed this book.

Kathy from editing here.

I promised last week that I would give an update on the very end of An Absolutely Remarkable

Thing, because I hadn't quite finished the audiobook, even though I'd read the book before.

Hank's chapter was done beautifully.

It is clearly his voice but not his usual speaking voice, which I really appreciated.

Also, this week, my Nerdfighter book club had our book club discussion of An Absolutely

Remarkable Thing, so that was fun.

Also, our hostess made Carl shaped cookies, which of course, there's no cookie cutter

for those so she had to cut them out individually, and then she also got the ingredients list

for the Carl cocktail that is briefly mentioned in the book from Hank, and made us those cocktails.

So it was a good time.

That's it for this week.

If you've read, watched, or listened to any of these, let me know about it down in the comments below.

On the way down to the comments, if you hit that Subscribe button, that would be very nice of you.

You can also like and share this as you see fit, and I will see you very soon.

Bye!

DON'T TAKE THIS TEST | The Watson-Scott Test - Duration: 33:34.

Hello mates, my name is Risk

and welcome to a unique horror experience called

"The Watson-Scott Test"

now I asked the developer for a free copy and he gave me so Thank You developer which is

"Some Wholesome Games"

And this is supposed to be a unique horror game

You'll see when we get into it. It's supposed to be some sort of a questionnaire

or a test.

But not exactly

so I think we're gonna jump into it.

Okay, since a lot of the text appears on screen

I don't know if you already know that or already knows notice that with my captions

but if you enable captions

They will not appear to text that already appear on screen that I read out loud

So only text that I say that doesn't appear

Only my thoughts would appear in the captions.

So..

Just a heads up

Also enable captions!

I work hard on them.

Oh, wow. That's great, great job! You're not a psychopath

kind of a thing?

I don't know

I mean when I play Russian roulette, I have like 17% chance of dying

and I still die

So..

I think 13% chance it's pretty much a 100% chance for me to not die.

So yes, I do wish to continue

And if you haven't watched my you Russian Roulette series

man you're missing out and so much.

Blue

So I guess this is a calibration to see how crazy I am.

No, I'm taking a test

Yes

I'm sorry guys...

I am playing a game. I'm sorry.

Why is everything red now?

Did I do something bad? Does the red mean scary?

I might feel a small bit of guilt.

Why would anybody feel happy about crushing a snail?

It's like Eww! What the hell?

I would feel a little bit of guilt because I'm like, oh man

I didn't see where I was walking and I crushed this dude. He's now this small

But I mostly would be disgusted.

Eww man!

Gotta get this off my feet!

Delighted? I feel sympathetic

I feel sympathetic to her because like oh no!

No

Unless if you did a..

Fortnight dance then I would feel

amused happy

What was that?

I would thank him for the meal.

I mean he's feeding me right?

A farmer just randomly feeding me. Like I'm trying to think of the scenarios cuz

Context really matters.

I would say thank you.

But just already knowing the cows name would make me a bit sympathetic

it's gonna be like, oh no, I'm eating the cow, but since I'm a...

You know, I'm not super sympathetic

Then I'm not gonna have any trouble eating that.

The taste is gonna make me forget about it all

or my hunger.

What is that?

It's like a couple of snakes combined with

a spider?

How about

intrigued or like

Curious?

What is resentful? I'm not sure what it is.

Not calm, calm is not a word in here.

Anxious I think would be the best way to describe it If

after curiosity I guess anxious could be a bit better

in this situation so, anxious.

The answer is gonna have to be

no for me in real life.

But for the sake of making it interesting

This game is crazy. So remember that

I'm gonna say yes in game

And see

If it does anything weird

I don't know Should I be truthful?

Or should I look for the secret..

Cool routes? I'm gonna say yes

No

I have never seen a ghost

Hold that thought

if you want to see more actually, I don't know if you want to see more of this because

it's rather short, but if you enjoy games like this

200 likes and I'll keep an eye out for more stuff from this developer.

So thank you for leaving a like I appreciate that

Not yet, I mean I'm not dead yet, so.

and nobody died here that I know of

Not anybody that I know of okay

achievement: felt

Sure

hit me.

I strongly agree with that.

I have a very strong imagination

It's why the reasons why I just started reading books again out of nowhere

and I was never a book kind of a guy

Not even in school when they you know forced me to read books

I would still get into some of them, but I wouldn't read anything other than..

What I have to.

Never even thought of that.

I'm so sympathetic, I can make feelings towards a pot of flowers.

I'm so sympathetic

I'm gonna feel sad when we kick out a toaster that is not working properly

or like kicking out a toaster for a better one because I'm gonna feel like oh

He did such a good job, and we're kicking him out

Like I'm that kind of sympathetic

It's unreasonable but

that's what it is and I know a lot of people have same feelings towards other objects like that

seeing other people in pain.

I strongly disagree

I'm too sympathetic for that

if the power went out at my house

I would get mad because I would lose all my footage

every single time I record

every time you're recording there is a power outage

Gameplay footage corrupted can't use it

I mean there is a service you can use but

it's not an option for me. It takes too much time

Keep it quiet out. Oh

I know it's a part of the game. I'm just doing a bit. Yes

But yeah, if I upload

it takes a lot of time to give the service to the file the corrupted one

So it's not an option for me.

I don't strongly disagree with that. I will just disagree

I agree

I strongly disagree

Most intelligent? It's like saying..

Art is not as intelligent as poetry

I mean I get why somebody would say such a thing like any other form of art.

Is there no intelligence going into it?

Like is the guy making it not intelligent?

Like it feels like that's what it's saying and I can't agree with that.

I don't strongly disagree

Cuz poetry is still kind of a, you know

art in form of writing

But I disagree

Sure. Try me

I've designed new algorithm. No, no, if it's youtube involved

I'm readjusting. I'm a new man, okay?

Forget about it.

I'm inside the house

see

I wrote that poem.

What are you stupid?

guys, I don't know if you noticed

but I think there is somebody in this game with us...

I mean you probably noticed by now, but there is sounds

Aside from like the glitch sounds

we already heard somebody knocking on the door

or knocking on something

And we casually hear sometimes somebody moving in a chair or something.

I'm confident to say

There is maybe something that might pop up in the game.

I don't know if it's a jump-scare

but it feels like there is another presence, so..

Keep an open mind to that

so you don't get as scared cuz I know you guys are a bunch of babies

Okay, you're not a bunch of babies, but..

What are you 4? Why you scared?

Achievement: Agreed

I think there is like 6 achievements or 4 achievements in the game

So maybe there is one more?

did somebody laugh did somebody say something?

It's like

It's like an hour away.

Not an hour. Like if you're talking about walk time, it's an hour away

30 minutes 40 minutes

Are you live in a religious place we don't..

The closest city is very far away

In terms of walking

Like a drive it's like 15 minutes or 10

More than 15 minutes.

I can hear somebody walking.

I lock my doors when I'm not home alone too

so yes

I think about 41

Exactly 41 seconds

Sorry, that's a bit crazy but like

maybe 41 seconds is like the average for people who don't practice anything like that

So it might cut me off a little

bit of guard reading then off the bat and see that it says exactly

Cuz I said 41 seconds cuz I saw it says here

but uh, the exactly one is like yeah, that sounds about like me

However, I know trick if you like

you know, breathe a bunch of oxygen before going down and we have..

you know just you you're gonna get lightheaded, but when you go down you're gonna be able to stay longer because of the

higher amount of oxygen in your blood

so I think I will more than 41 seconds, but I'm not sure that

I never tried something like that under pressure

because when you're under pressure is always a different thing

What the?

Sorry I didn't understand that.

You drill 3 holes

The size of a quarter diameter in the midpoint of their skull

Three minutes is all I'm gonna give them

A real operator is not gonna say something like that so I would be..

Suspicious I would be looking around.

Is there a way to just

Try and climb down.

It's a ferris wheel. There is a lot of like rods

It's probably super hard to jump down.

But like maybe I can at least lower the distance at least

Lower the distance before I jump off

But jump off and be caught by a who?

Maybe it's worse being caught by this operator

that says

"Slow and painful death if you don't jump."

Okay let's read the answers.

What are you, 4?

I mean maybe this sounds terrible

but I heard burning alive is one of the worst deaths you can experience

So..

A different form

By the way, jump up and fly away (grow wings)

may be a reference for

Jumping off in order to kill yourself

because..

I heard sometimes you can lose consciousness before hitting the ground

or like when jump off when you jump for a very high place

you lose conscious hitting the ground

And..

You die just a painless death

But I don't know about that. I just heard that from a friend

Jump off and be caught.

I mean, I guess it's my best answer

I mean if I will hear it, doesn't need to speak.

Spider and it seems like maybe I'm moose?

Moose eyes?

Tiger eyes?

again curious

Like that's kind of insane

not violent not sad not afraid

it actually made me feel none of the above

But there is no option like that

You did not change my mind not even one bit

I don't know that

I don't know who you are.

How am I supposed to make a judgment of character?

For all I know he could be

the guy speaking could be reading from a note

Could be hired.

It's an examination there is no right or wrong. What are you stupid?

Okay mixed martial arts

a little bit of mixed martial arts and

Krav Maga it's..

it's supposed to be against knives and guns.

So..

Against you know

typical

People who mug like rob you in the middle of the day or something

Well

No, no, no, no, no

No, I didn't go to the military

So no, none of the above.

I was supposed to but..

It was dismissed last call

Sure, it's your examination

I'm gonna say yes

Die!

Acute stress situation. What is acute mean?

Acute meaning right now?

Like recent? I think acute means recent or right now

Okay

Let's hold up a second.

So is the guy behind me preparing something?

I heard him like loading a gun

heard him moving a rope

What do you think these guys up to?

You think he's right now tying probably a noose around my neck?

Do you think he's planning on killing me?

Or do you think..

it's just a part of the experiment to see if I can be the one that passes?

I'm gonna continue now

Achievement: Tense

Is the achievement that I got.

There is a door right here. There is a window right here

So I'm good.

I mean I also have a basement as a dungeon

I mean if I know the answer a fast response kind of means that it's a right answer

I'm unsure.

Oh great

There is something on my left.

I didn't look away. Yes.

If you move you get stabbed

Is he about to pop me?

I think it's about to pop my head

There is somebody moving in the background?

No

No, it's just..

Okay

Wait was I actually supposed to die?

Move out into the face

Hey

Screenshot saved is there real?

Wait, is that..

Did it save by itself? Because I didn't click anything.

I enjoyed the experience

and it's really nice to hear that I survived the test

Let's continue

I don't.

I wanted to see what you would say.

I do not.

We have..

6 minutes and something seconds

6 and a half minutes.

I don't know.

The same amount of bones as in normal human wouldn't it?

How many bones are in a human?

I don't know.

I actually don't know guys. I'm sorry

My teacher is gonna be mad at me if he ever watches my videos

It's gonna be 3

I'm gonna say I don't think I'm that super smart, but...

No

I think 30 million

Sounds about right

highly deadly.

24 minutes

Okay, jump-scare me man

Okay, I guess he's holding the jump-scare

I don't know would it be two liters?

Okay. It was 5.

Not claustrophobia.

I don't know

I got that one right.

Like I just tried to think..

West? so he's facing

south?

My bad

I don't know that.

I'm sorry guys.

Anode.

Nice timer there

Game of the year 420, Crossy roads have another Freddie's of course

Listen to jazz

I was close.

I failed right?

I got a low score

I have an achievement: Stronger

Pete Davidson Jokes He's Not 'Too Sad To Masturbate' After Ariana Grande Split - Daily News - Duration: 2:34.

Less than a week after his split from Ariana Grande, Pete Davidson returned to the stage for a scheduled comedy gig — and didn't shy away from cracking a NSFW joke about the breakup!  Pete Davidson is having a tough time in the aftermath of his breakup from Ariana Grande, but that didn't keep him from performing during the Judd and Pete For America benefit show in West Hollywood on Oct

20. Rather than trying to avoid talk of the buzzed-about split, Pete addressed it right away, admitting to the crowd, per Us Weekly, "I think you could tell I didn't want to be here

There's a lot going on." When his co-host, Judd Apatow, praised him for sticking to the obligation, Pete retorted that he had no choice because "you put me on the flyer

" LOL!    During his set, Pete also joked about how he no longer has a place to live now that he's not shacking up in Ari's NYC pad anymore

"Anybody have any open rooms?" he asked. "I'm looking for a roommate." Throughout the show, Pete talked about his past struggle with depression and mental illness

However, he admitted that there's one thing he's NEVER been too sad to do. "You ever have the feeling, you're so sad you can't [masturbate]?" he asked

"That hasn't happened to me." It looks like no matter HOW much this breakup is getting to Pete, he'll still excel at loving himself!  Pete and Ariana ended their engagement after just four months on Oct

14. The decision to split came in the aftermath of Ariana's ex, Mac Miller's, tragic death at the age of 26

"Ariana needs time to heal," an insider explained to HollywoodLife EXCLUSIVELY. "She needs to sort her head out, along with her emotions and feelings [after Mac's death]

"   However, another source dished that Pete is confident things will work out between him and Ariana in the end

"Pete is convinced that he will be back with Ariana and he feels that it will happen before Christmas and maybe even before his birthday [Nov

16]," our source explained. "He is giving her space but he is not giving up on her and he is hoping that things will change for the better before the end of the year

"

this restaurant is pretty because...

✅ 15 Mens Long Hairstyles for Different Occasions - Formal, Corporate & Casual - Duration: 12:30.

✅ 15 Mens Long Hairstyles for Different Occasions - Formal, Corporate & Casual - Duration: 12:30.

He's kind of got asymmetrical RockStar kills.

I think that's quite cool.

and your undercut.

I still think this looks very sleek.

It's one way that you can kind of get all of you hair

You can show off a bit of that personality,

you can show bit of like difference

and it still looks very like tidy, and neat.

And I think what contributes to that,

is the sides being shaven, and having that clean cut.

For me now, like if I would wear all braids,

I'd probably get flagged for cultural appropriation.

I don't know it's just a little bit more woo in your face,
