Zero Fighter Nissan Skyline Hakosuka - DIY Wheels PlastiDip Easy Playing Card Trick - Duration: 5:20.
My Nissan Skyline Hakosuka is about to go through some huge changes!
Today's DIY is the first step in the big changes!
I am going to DIY the wheels in their new color.
For the new design I have in mind...
I have to change the color from black and gold to its new color.
In order to do that I'm going to use one of my favorite products- Plastidip!
You can see the previous Plastidip Gold I did....
I will paint a base black coat over that first....
after that I plan to use this red as well!!
I have just finished a few coats of black on this wheel.
The center of this wheel used to be gold.
It took about 3-4 coats to get it like this.
Now its time to prepare to paint the center red.
I'm not looking for a shiny red...
I want something old and vintage looking...
This is the exactly the look I was aiming for....
If you don't understand the theme of my car, you might say these don't look very good at all...
but trust me!!!
This is perfect and now I will show you how I did it.
I found a great trick for painting things like this with Plastidip.
This is a trick to help with separating 2 colors on something like this wheel and tire...
The black I sprayed is still fresh paint...
I cannot use masking tape on it or it will peel right off.
Instead, I came up with this idea using playing cards.
I used masking tape to put these cards together into a ring.
That ring fits right into the inside of the wheel.
Its a quick and simple way to separate colors without messing up the fresh Plastidip.
It's not perfect, I know that.... but it's perfect enough for this project I am doing!!
Here is an example of how I used the playing cards...
I am about to paint the center red now...
I am laying these towels down around it to avoid overspray.
The red will be only 2 light "frosty" coats...
that will give me the look I am searching for!!
I just finished spraying 1 coat of red.
It was a very light coat I did.
Quick and light coat...
I made sure I sprayed it from every possible different angle too.
For this project this rough finish is just perfect I think...
If I'm wrong, forgive me....
but the beauty of Plastidip is being able to peel it off and start over.
After removing the towels you can see how the playing cards were used.
Another use for the playing cards is between the wheel and tire.
This is an easy and very effective way to avoid a lot of cleanup work later.
I think this playing card idea came from a viewer who watched a previous video I made...
I previously did a Plastidip wheel video and someone mentioned this method!
It sounded like a great idea and after trying it....
It is a terrific idea!
Between the tire and wheel and also inside the center of the wheel...
the playing card trick is very good!!!!
I am in a hurry to complete this project....
So even though the Plastidip isn't totally dry, using the playing cards allows me to go faster than I normally could with masking tape..
No peeling or damage to the black base at all.
For this project I opted to not use Tire Stickers but rather hand paint the tire letters...
I used a white Sharpee to hand paint these...
I think the letters fit the new look very well too!!!

i only do my lower half
and my neck and i only use a pump because
i'm not someone that likes full coverage
i just think it looks a lot nicer
if you still have your skin showing through but that's just my opinion

perfectly when it dries down so like

prime my eyes because it's
really good at covering up, like the viens
and it dries down matte and i just

win millions of dollars and I never want to work again even though the odds are
so far against me winning it is insane I can be hit by lightning five times
before I win the lottery and I sure don't want to get hit by lightning and
then the other fact is a lot of lottery winners go broke how can you win
millions of dollars and go broke well it's very simple you don't know how to
manage money when you have that kind of money that might or might not happen to
me would that happen to you if you won the lottery would you know how to manage
your money but a little story for you teeny-tiny a couple years ago there was
a big Powerball jackpot huge like five hundred million or more maybe it was
maybe it was just under that maybe four hundred million that's a lot of money
found out someone I went to high school won that money won one person won that
jackpot and it was her I don't know the name not going to tell you but what the
high school with her and guess what I don't know anything about her because
she quit her job and she gave money to some family and that's all I know
bought some houses and has disappeared that is the smartest thing to do because
when you win the lottery everybody comes out of the woodwork and takes your money
that's what you hear that's how people go broke it's like oh hey you won you
want a million dollars you can send me a hundred thousand no because if I send
you a hundred thousand now I have nine hundred thousand and then this person
wants another hundred thousand that person wants fifty thousand this person
was to her and then broke okay no but why do we play it why
do we play this thing that we know the odds are against us that we are not
gonna win well why do you play I play it because of the hope of winning that
money at night I think about Oh what would I do with that money how I would
do this I would do that and I don't get any sleep biggest thing about me and I
and I've actually heard other people tell me this I am mad when I don't win
it well that's just that's just crazy talk why should I be I have no reason to
be upset why and actually my girlfriend had talked to me about this just the
other day because I was very down and basically she kind of pointed out the
fact that I have my hopes set really high on something and because I didn't
reach that goal or that hope I was very mad and very down because I didn't reach
it but then she said you need to hope for the best and expect the worst and
not so many words that's what she said and I knew this and that's how I got
back on the path of not being so stupid you can always hope for the best but you
have to be prepared to not get that whatever you're hoping for because it's
hope is what it is it's not a goal if you're not if you're hoping that means
you're not trying to achieve that goal yes buying a lottery ticket you're
trying to achieve the goal of making it by the way that's a loser so don't worry
this was this was drawn a while ago you're not gonna make money on these
numbers I think the lottery is just hope is all
it is there's nothing more you can do then put a couple bucks don't put a lot
of money into the lottery that's the bad idea you can only put a couple of bucks
into it and hope you win the odds you winning are nothing but in real life
when you're hoping for things you can't expect you to reach that goal or
whatever you're wanting without actually putting the work in but why do we play
the lottery I don't know why do you play the lottery I told you why I play the
lottery you tell me why you play the lottery what about the people who've won
multiple times and different smaller lotteries why do people play the lottery
is it is it the greed is that what it is are you guys so greedy you have to win
the lottery or is it just something that's hope by the way we're gonna make

Here in the City of Long Beach, we want you to have fun and be safe while
riding your e- scooter
but we also want you to follow the rules and
regulations of the road.
Electric scooters can be fun but don't forget
they are also a potentially dangerous motorized vehicle.
To keep everyone safe
please know the rules of the road and use them every time you ride.
Here in Long Beach only riders 18 years and older with a valid driver's license
who are wearing a helmet can operate an electric scooter.
Rental shops don't
usually have helmets so if you plan to ride be sure you have one handy
and please don't forget only one person at a time can ride on a scooter
and definitely no riding while on the phone
or under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
Now, for where you can ride.
E-scooters are only allowed on streets
that have speed limits under 25 miles an hour
and can not for any reason be ridden on sidewalks
Where there is a bike lane present
e-scooters must ride within that lane
but please note that there are also places where a
scooters cannot be driven.
These include beach bike pathways
skate parks and private property.
Lastly, e-scooters must be parked in an upright position
so that they do not block pedestrian traffic
on sidewalks, bike ways, or paths.

Zero Fighter Nissan Skyline Hakosuka - DIY Wheels PlastiDip Easy Playing Card Trick - Duration: 5:20.My Nissan Skyline Hakosuka is about to go through some huge changes!
Today's DIY is the first step in the big changes!
I am going to DIY the wheels in their new color.
For the new design I have in mind...
I have to change the color from black and gold to its new color.
In order to do that I'm going to use one of my favorite products- Plastidip!
You can see the previous Plastidip Gold I did....
I will paint a base black coat over that first....
after that I plan to use this red as well!!
I have just finished a few coats of black on this wheel.
The center of this wheel used to be gold.
It took about 3-4 coats to get it like this.
Now its time to prepare to paint the center red.
I'm not looking for a shiny red...
I want something old and vintage looking...
This is the exactly the look I was aiming for....
If you don't understand the theme of my car, you might say these don't look very good at all...
but trust me!!!
This is perfect and now I will show you how I did it.
I found a great trick for painting things like this with Plastidip.
This is a trick to help with separating 2 colors on something like this wheel and tire...
The black I sprayed is still fresh paint...
I cannot use masking tape on it or it will peel right off.
Instead, I came up with this idea using playing cards.
I used masking tape to put these cards together into a ring.
That ring fits right into the inside of the wheel.
Its a quick and simple way to separate colors without messing up the fresh Plastidip.
It's not perfect, I know that.... but it's perfect enough for this project I am doing!!
Here is an example of how I used the playing cards...
I am about to paint the center red now...
I am laying these towels down around it to avoid overspray.
The red will be only 2 light "frosty" coats...
that will give me the look I am searching for!!
I just finished spraying 1 coat of red.
It was a very light coat I did.
Quick and light coat...
I made sure I sprayed it from every possible different angle too.
For this project this rough finish is just perfect I think...
If I'm wrong, forgive me....
but the beauty of Plastidip is being able to peel it off and start over.
After removing the towels you can see how the playing cards were used.
Another use for the playing cards is between the wheel and tire.
This is an easy and very effective way to avoid a lot of cleanup work later.
I think this playing card idea came from a viewer who watched a previous video I made...
I previously did a Plastidip wheel video and someone mentioned this method!
It sounded like a great idea and after trying it....
It is a terrific idea!
Between the tire and wheel and also inside the center of the wheel...
the playing card trick is very good!!!!
I am in a hurry to complete this project....
So even though the Plastidip isn't totally dry, using the playing cards allows me to go faster than I normally could with masking tape..
No peeling or damage to the black base at all.
For this project I opted to not use Tire Stickers but rather hand paint the tire letters...
I used a white Sharpee to hand paint these...
I think the letters fit the new look very well too!!!

millions of dollars and go broke well it's very simple you don't know how to
manage money when you have that kind of money that might or might not happen to
me would that happen to you if you won the lottery would you know how to manage
your money but a little story for you teeny-tiny a couple years ago there was
a big Powerball jackpot huge like five hundred million or more maybe it was
maybe it was just under that maybe four hundred million that's a lot of money
found out someone I went to high school won that money won one person won that
jackpot and it was her I don't know the name not going to tell you but what the
high school with her and guess what I don't know anything about her because
she quit her job and she gave money to some family and that's all I know
bought some houses and has disappeared that is the smartest thing to do because
when you win the lottery everybody comes out of the woodwork and takes your money
that's what you hear that's how people go broke it's like oh hey you won you
want a million dollars you can send me a hundred thousand no because if I send
you a hundred thousand now I have nine hundred thousand and then this person
wants another hundred thousand that person wants fifty thousand this person
was to her and then broke okay no but why do we play it why
do we play this thing that we know the odds are against us that we are not
gonna win well why do you play I play it because of the hope of winning that
money at night I think about Oh what would I do with that money how I would
do this I would do that and I don't get any sleep biggest thing about me and I
and I've actually heard other people tell me this I am mad when I don't win
it well that's just that's just crazy talk why should I be I have no reason to
be upset why and actually my girlfriend had talked to me about this just the
other day because I was very down and basically she kind of pointed out the
fact that I have my hopes set really high on something and because I didn't
reach that goal or that hope I was very mad and very down because I didn't reach
it but then she said you need to hope for the best and expect the worst and
not so many words that's what she said and I knew this and that's how I got
back on the path of not being so stupid you can always hope for the best but you
have to be prepared to not get that whatever you're hoping for because it's
hope is what it is it's not a goal if you're not if you're hoping that means
you're not trying to achieve that goal yes buying a lottery ticket you're
trying to achieve the goal of making it by the way that's a loser so don't worry
this was this was drawn a while ago you're not gonna make money on these
numbers I think the lottery is just hope is all
it is there's nothing more you can do then put a couple bucks don't put a lot
of money into the lottery that's the bad idea you can only put a couple of bucks
into it and hope you win the odds you winning are nothing but in real life
when you're hoping for things you can't expect you to reach that goal or
whatever you're wanting without actually putting the work in but why do we play
the lottery I don't know why do you play the lottery I told you why I play the
lottery you tell me why you play the lottery what about the people who've won
multiple times and different smaller lotteries why do people play the lottery
is it is it the greed is that what it is are you guys so greedy you have to win
the lottery or is it just something that's hope by the way we're gonna make

The Biggest Halloween Hoaxes In History - Duration: 4:52.
No matter how fun it can be, Halloween is a time of year that puts people on edge.
The longer nights can make us more willing to believe spooky stories that prey on our
biggest fears.
But the thing is, almost all Halloween urban legends are pure hokum, which should hopefully
help everyone sleep a little better at night.
Here are a few of the most notorious Halloween hoaxes you don't have to be scared of.
Ghostwatch
A pseudo-documentary about a haunted house, Ghostwatch aired in the United Kingdom on
Halloween night in 1992.
The program did everything it could to make the piece seem like a real-life broadcast,
hiring well-known BBC personalities to give the show extra credibility.
But the program caused some serious problems.
"Because the audience weren't actually sure, or I wasn't actually sure, if it was fact
or fiction.
If it was live, or if it was, in fact, a drama."
While it started with a playful tone, the program got darker and more supernatural as
the investigation went on.
It began to appear that the ghost supposedly haunting the place was real, and drawing malevolent
energy from the presenters' attention.
As the ghost got stronger, members of the crew were injured, killed, and possessed,
with the specter ultimately appearing to step into the real world at the end of the show.
"And she's going to take be taking you through the spine-tingling story."
The program's almost-realistic nature and unscripted feel deceived and even traumatized
many, even though it featured credited actors and writers.
Though it was all in good fun, the program sparked years' worth of rumors and controversy,
becoming an indelible part of modern-day English folklore.
Strangers with candy
Every kid knows the Halloween routine: once you get home, you surrender your loot to the
nearest adult, who scours the bag for needles, drugs, and some candy off the top for themselves.
It's annoying, but necessary, right?
It sure beats swallowing a razor blade.
But here's the thing: the whole "tainted Halloween candy" thing has rarely been anything but
fear mongering.
When sociologists began studying the issue, they discovered that there were practically
no stories of candy ever being tampered with by strangers.
The vast majority of reported stories have wound up being hoaxes that can't be substantiated,
or have been relatively harmless pranks between children.
In the few cases where a child's Halloween candy was confirmed to have been tampered
with, the culprit was almost always someone the kids knew.
One of the only confirmed cases of a stranger tampering with Halloween candy took place
in 2000, when a man was caught sticking needles in Snickers bars, inflicting only one minor
injury.
Black cat sacrifice
Some people still believe that Halloween is a time for satanic sacrifice.
Warnings pop up yearly about keeping your pets indoors so that evil cultists don't offer
them up as part of twisted rituals, especially, for some reason, black cats.
It's not just pet owners that get taken in by this one: some animal shelters halt adoptions
of black cats around Halloween to stop them from ending up on some sacrificial altar.
According to experts on cults, these stories are untrue as well.
While there is the occasional instance of a cat being hurt on Halloween, it's never
the work of violent satanic cults, which have also never really existed.
On a related note, black cats also aren't unlucky, and they certainly aren't evil.
Well, at least not any more evil than cats already are.
Blue star tattoos
Warnings about so-called "blue star tattoos" usually surface around Halloween, and during
the first weeks of a new school year.
Parents are warned to stay away from suspicious people handing out temporary tattoos laced
with LSD.
But here's the thing — the story, like so many others, is always bunk.
Don't feel bad if you've fallen for this one — people have been duped by a version of
it for almost two centuries.
According to folklorists, similar rumors were circulating in England in 1840, long before
LSD was even invented.
The legend then focused on lick-and-stick postage stamps, with the story going that
the glue was poisonous, and caused cholera [CALL-er-uh].
It just goes to show that tall tales can easily be adjusted to new times and places.
Even as decades go by, human nature remains pretty much the same — which is to say,
kind of gullible.
The cannibal's haunted house
This story is a relatively new one, first going viral in 2015.
Supposedly, a group of friends went into a haunted house in Austin, Texas, when they
came across what looked like a terribly gruesome display of a man eating someone alive in a
bathtub.
The screams they heard, the story goes, turned out to be real — the group had come across
a real-life cannibal, who was supposedly fought off by the house's pistol-packing owner.
In Texas, a story like this is almost believable.
But — it wasn't true.
The story was a classic viral hoax, and nothing about the nightmarish episode was based in
fact.
Did we just believe it because of Texas?
Probably.

The Biggest Unanswered Questions In Venom - Duration: 6:06.
Venom has officially latched onto theaters.
Now that we've seen what this inky symbiote has to offer, let's break down the world-building
and story stuff that the movie leaves hanging, as well as some big important questions that
it just plain doesn't bother bringing up.
These are the biggest unanswered questions in Venom.
A riot going on
In the beginning of Venom, a private Life
Foundation rocketship is returning to Earth from parts unknown, with a collection of "samples"
that we learn are fully-formed symbiotes.
As we later learn from Jenny Slate's character, Dora Skirth, the rocket was sent on a hunt
for galactic "real estate" that humanity could colonize.
Upon return, the crew happens to encounter and collect the symbiotes from a passing comet
a move that backfires when one escapes, crashing the rocket to Earth.
The crash frees a symbiote named Riot, who begins hopping from body to body in a world
tour of the planet.
The alien eventually breaches the Life Foundation HQ to infest the company's evil founder, Carlton
Drake.
But why?
From the start, the Riot symbiote seems to be driving toward a clear goal.
It certainly doesn't make its way to Drake by random chance the rocket crashes down in
Malaysia, and the movie shows every deliberate turn the symbiote takes on its trip around
the world.
The movie never stops to explain why the symbiote is doing this.
Why is Drake the target, and how did it come to this decision?
Who knows — they make a fantastic couple, though.
The losers
One of the movie's earlier laugh lines occurs when Venom, recently bonded to Eddie Brock,
rudely identifies the down-on-his-luck reporter as "a loser."
As Eddie and the symbiote become closer, Venom reveals that, on his home world, he's also
something of a loser.
It's a tantalizing bit of information that doesn't get expanded upon.
What makes Venom such an outcast on his planet?
What about him distinguishes him from his peers?
Maybe they're just turned off by his insult comedy, or his inclination to do good.
It's hard to say none of the homeworld politics are really established.
Hey gotta save something for the sequel.
Alien invasion
Once Riot and Drake meet up, they get along quite swimmingly.
As it turns out, the two villains have a bit in common.
The movie establishes that Drake is power-mad, trying to lead humanity into outer space at
any cost.
Completely by coincidence, Riot was already on his way to Earth with a swarm of symbiotes
for the express purpose of conquering the planet.
Naturally, the two villains team up, combining their powers for mutual benefit.
The question that never gets explored is "why?"
Why are the symbiotes attempting to invade Earth?
What gave them that idea?
Have they been here before?
Is invading planets, like, their thing, or is it just a Riot thing?
The villains fail so spectacularly that we may never find out.
The other symbiotes
While the crashed rocket sets Riot loose, the other symbiotes remain in captivity, eventually
arriving at the Life Foundation none the worse for wear.
But what happens to these other symbiotes at the end of the movie?
It's established that the symbiotes are still being used in experiments six months after
their arrival, and the only one we see escape is Venom.
The others, presumably, remain in the lab throughout the rest of the film.
One of them is even used to kill Dr. Skirth.
Venom breaks free and destroys Riot, but it's completely unclear what happens to the other
specimens.
Are they still locked up in that lab, or do they get out into the wild?
Are they good guys or bad guys?
Does Venom intend to go after them, or did they just die offscreen?
Maybe we'll see a few more of these far-flung visitors in a sequel.
The Dead Foundation
Riz Ahmed's Carlton Drake never shares a kind word when an evil one will do.
The CEO goes out of his way to prove what an awful person he is, constantly threatening
to kill the families of his exceptionally loyal employees.
But his most puzzling move occurs at the height of the movie's third act.
After fusing with the Riot symbiote, alien and host both rush into their plan to dominate
the world.
But instead of using Life Foundation resources to help usher along this project, the pair
decide to just start slaughtering the staff of the organization.
Immediately afterwards, they take the fight to Venom, ultimately losing their lives.
But what happens to the Life Foundation after Drake is dead?
Do they disband?
Do they reveal their boss's research?
Or does someone else take over?
When the movie ends, it's all unclear and considering the group's militant secrecy,
it's a massive loose end.
Brock is back
The movie ends with Eddie on an upswing.
After being fired by one media outlet and effectively blackballed from many others,
it's revealed in the conclusion that Eddie's been offered his old job back.
But how?
Eddie only loses his job thanks to a contentious one-on-one interview he has with Carlton Drake,
which goes south after Eddie accuses him of serious crimes.
As a result of betraying his editor's trust, turning a puff piece into an inquisition,
he loses his job.
By the end of the movie, Drake is dead, and the Life Foundation likely in tatters.
But how does that lead to Eddie getting his job back?
Since getting fired, Eddie has only made his reputation worse, showing up to his old office
as a flop-sweating nutcase.
He doesn't just freak out the security guards he violently breaks into the building, leaving
behind a rude note and some research.
Afterwards, he goes downstairs and flat-out kills a dozen police officers.
Would you really rehire that guy?
He may have been right about the Life Foundation, but he never stopped acting insane.
"enh, I don't know."
Revenge of the redhead
The movie's post-credits scene picks up with Eddie and Venom at the start of their next
adventure.
Deep in a dank, dark prison, Eddie embarks on an exclusive interview with a notorious
serial killer Cletus Kasady, better known to comics readers as the eventual host of
the unhinged Carnage symbiote.
The appearance is all setup for a sequel, which would presumably see Kasady escaping
prison to cause chaos.
But the movie leaves some things ambiguous about this encounter.
As Eddie himself details, this interview with the killer is a big get for the journalist,
with Eddie having been specifically requested for a one-on-one.
But why?
The tenor of the conversation seems to imply that Kasady has some kind of master plan for
busting out of lockup.
We know he eventually gets a symbiote, but does he know that?
Does he know about Eddie and Venom?
If so, how?
Does he know about the symbiotes and what they can do?
If not, then why did Kasady specifically want to talk to Eddie?
Maybe he doesn't have a reason.
If you want real answers, you just have to cross your fingers, and hope for Venom 2.

The Ending of A Star Is Born (2018) Explained: Tragic Love - Duration: 5:58.
So, A Star Is Born is definitely one of the best movie of 2018, and it ain't even a
debate.
Going into this movie I honestly wasn't expecting much.
Lady Gaga has never acted in a major film, Bradley Cooper's recent roles haven't
been all that great, and this is the fourth remake of the same story.
Yep…
There are three other A Star Is Born films, with the last one having released in 1976
starring Barbra Streisand.
But despite the, mostly, familiar premise and the fact that we've seen this play out
three other times before, A Star Is Born still works on many, many levels and is, ultimately,
a look at how some people just can't overcome their demons.
Not all of us can get happy endings.
Let's break this baby down.
A Star Is Born follows Bradley Cooper's Jackson Maine, a washed up country rock musician
who is a severe alcoholic.
One of the first shots of the movie sees Jackson just completely blasted out of his mind while
trying to perform on stage.
Right away we get the sense that he is an incredibly broken man who, for whatever reason,
isn't able to overcome his inner demons to further his career and achieve his dreams.
Also, another early scene basically foreshadows the ending, and it ain't all that subtle
as we see a shot of a billboard covered in nooses, giving us a nice hint at Jackson's
fate.
Yeah, this ain't a happy movie.
So, once we're introduced to Jackson he meets Lady Gaga's character, Ally, who's
a struggling artist waiting tables and still hasn't been able to get her music career
off the ground.
She's super talented, obviously, I mean come on it's Lady Gaga for crying out loud.
But Ally has had no luck, and Jackson being the broken man that he is with no passion
for life anymore, decides to focus his attention on Ally and helping her make it in the music
industry.
Now, having watched plenty of movies in my time, I and almost anybody out there could
see where the overall plot will be heading towards.
It's clear as day, especially given the fact that this is a fourth remake of an old
story.
But it's the execution that matters here, and Bradley, as a first time director, just
nails it.
Jackson and Ally fall deeply in love and we get ourselves a nice love story brewing.
Ally's career eventually does take off and goes to such a huge heights Jackson couldn't
even dream of reaching.
And of course, with the increased fame, money, and all of that stuff, Jackson and Ally encounter
more and more problems, especially with their relationship.
As they say, more money more problems.
Ally's new manager, once she does get famous is an asshole and him and Jackson feud, which
adds another damaging wrinkle to Ally and Jackson's relationship.
The weirdest part of the movie for me was Ally's sudden transformation into a pop
singer.
Going from an authentic country singer to some pop icon quickly felt a bit rushed to
me, and the film's depiction of what it's like being a pop singer makes it seem so easy,
which it probably isn't.
A standout scene is when Ally is accepting her Grammy and Jackson just loses his shit,
drunk and all, knowing full well this isn't the type of music Ally should be doing.
Jackson sees right through it all and knows full well Ally isn't happy deep down.
It's the tried and true message of letting go some your authenticity and soul, for lack
of a better word, for a taste of fame and success.
It's not original, but liked the rest of the movie, it's pulled off really well.
We also get great scenes featuring Dave Chappelle basically lecturing Bradley Cooper about how
he's now really worried about him and his drinking problem, and that Jackson might not
end up alright after all.
Another big piece of foreshadowing.
The final act of A Star Is Born, the ending, is what really makes this a special film and
is probably a highlight for many people as I expect, especially for those who haven't
seen the other three movies and don't know how the story plays out.
You see, while A Star Is Born may initially be about the price of fame and chasing your
dreams, and about how being famous and rich and super successful might not be all that
and isn't the solution to all of your problems, this 2018 version isn't what the film is
actually about in my opinion.
As I've said earlier, the message here, and it's a dark message, is that not everyone
can better themselves, improve, and live happily ever after.
Why shouldn't Jackson be happy, right?
He has a core fanbase as a musician, he meets and falls in love with a genuine person in
Ally, he helps her career skyrocket, what more can a person ask for, right?
In this case, nothing.
No matter what happened, even if Ally never transitioned to being a pop star, I still
think Jackson would've been doomed.
And that's because that's how deep his demons and addictions are.
It's incredibly difficult to change and improve and Jackson, light many people in
real life unfortunately, aren't able to change for the better.
The ending is exactly that.
Instead of dying in a car or motorcycle accident or drowning himself, like in the other movies,
we get a lingering and sombering shot of Jackson's lifeless body hanging from a noose, with his
dog waiting outside for him.
It's a sad and a tear-jerking moment, especially when Ally finds out.
And as she performs her beautiful song at the end, she and the audience realize that
Jackson and the many people suffering out there in the world, need a lot of guidance
and love to help them be better and to hopefully, one day, overcome their inner demons.
