Workshop Valeria Radyk "The Magic World of manual creativity"

Hello everyone, Valery is with you! Welcome to my magical world of creativity!

Today we are going to make a Christmas tree toy,

namely the twine ball

in jute filigree technique.

I explain in more detail about working with twine in the master class (link in the description below the video),

as well as a hint will appear in the upper right corner of the screen:

Materials: sharosnova (you can use a ball of thread wrapped with polyethylene),

twine, polymer glue, soft tube with a narrow spout,

brush, scissors,

polyethylene film (you can use food film),

marker, acrylic varnish, decorative tapes,

stones and rhinestones, thermo-gun,

a thread with a needle, a device for burning wood, instead of it you can use a nail or awl heated on a fire,

as well as the film can be cut with nail scissors.

Getting Started:

Polymer glue poured into a soft tube with a thin lid (spout)

If the pattern is difficult to lay out immediately, then it can be pre-drawn.

After drawing the pattern with a marker, be sure to wrap a film over the top,

so that the marker does not stain the twine threads.

The ends of the twine glue with white glue.

Wipe your hands off with glue with wet wipes,

this way it will be easier for you to work.

Straighten twine threads with a wooden skewer or knitting needle.

Open windows-glue fumes are toxic.

The pattern can be made symmetrical or chaotic, if desired.

Acrylic lacquer:

Find the junction halves,

To make this task easier for you, take a picture of the ball before you cut the twine.

Then looking at the photo of the junction will be easier to find.

Can glue with polymer glue

or thermogun,

easier to use a thermo gun,

but apply thermo glue with a thin layer

neatly so that the glue doesn't look out.

It is better and better to connect with polymer glue,

but then you have to wait for the glue to set.

If you have little experience in working with twine, then better bother with a thermo-gun.

Glue film can be removed with nail scissors

or remove thermally:

heat the awl or nail (using pliers) over the flame,

but i am using a wood burning device.

Work is ready!

I'll be glad if you like my master class and it will come in handy :)!

Susana e Cátia 06 de Outubro ( parte 1) - Duration: 6:36.

- He's not gonna give in so easily

we don't have too much time until the employees arrive

- Why don't you use harder methods Cátia?

- Because is not who i am

- No?

but we're talking about two innocents

- I know

- Tell me something Cátia, when you were a cop you never wished you had

the power to push in a harder way?

a suspect knowing he was simply lying?

- Yes

- How many lives were destroyed

by people like this who got out without confessing?

how many who laughed at your face?

think well Cátia

two teens

two innocents scared

we have here the most likely guilty

and you're gonna let him go without squeezing him?

- No

i'm not

- Use what makes you more comfortable

- Let me go please i didn't do anything

i didn't do anything

i didn't do anything, i don't know what you're talking about, i promise i didn't do anything

i didn't do anything

let me go please

I CAN'T TALK, BUT I NEED YOU TO COME TO MY OFFICE URGENT AND CONFIDENTIAL

- Help

- Listen

you're a cop, you know things aren't done like this

i am a human being

for everything that is most holy

- No

- No?

- I'm not like this

- It was very important that you were

at least today, here and now

- Yeah but i'm not

this aren't solved in this way

- Enough of wasting time

if Cátia is incompetent, you solve the issue Susana

- Susana

you also don't have to do this

- Susana?

- Yes i have

- You see this pain that you felt during this second?

i can make it last hours

- No, no, no, no

i can't handle pain, i can't handle, i'm not courageous

i didn't do anything, if i knew i already have told

- Manuel stop

he's innocent, he's telling the truth

this doesn't bring us anywhere, look at him, this...

this is a coward

you really believe someone like this kidnaped someone?

- And how can you be so sure?

- I've already done a lot of interrogations

- Stop that

you left internship what? 2, 3 years ago?

finally

our guest of today

just a second, i'm gonna bring him

- How can you do this?

- The same way i make love with you

it's who i am

- Manuel what's this?

- This is my gift for you

- A gift?

i'm not understanding

- João

call the police please

- Stop with that, c'mon stop that - Stop?

Susana is just showing Tomás

that no one comes in your way

- In my way?

- Yes

we have reasons to believe that it was Tomás who kidnapped your son

and we're making sure he collaborates with us and tells us where he's holding him

oh Tomás

look at João

look really well to João's face, look the suffering from a father

by the way there's two fathers and mothers suffering

show compassion and tell us where you keep the boy

- I don't know anything, i didn't do anything

i promise, i didn't do anything, i didn't touch him, i don't know

i don't know what you're talking about

- You're wrong Manuel

- I am?

- This is not a gift

this right here

is a horror house

and i'm disgusted with you for thinking and just for thinking

that i would agree with something like this

- I've seen you calmer in less serious situations

- It were other times, i was another person

it were other circumstances

- We're talking about your son

what circumstances do you need?

- My son is at home safe

understand now how crazy what's happening here is?

For more infomation >> Susana e Cátia 06 de Outubro ( parte 1) - Duration: 6:36.

Susana e Cátia 06 de Outubro (parte 2) - Duration: 7:44.

- So if the boy is already at home that means that you're gonna let me go right?

- So how this happened?

- They ran away and appeared now, end of story

what matters here is that Tomás isn't guilty of what happened

- But did they catch the kidnaper?

- It doesn't matter, it isn't Tomás

- How do you know?

didn't you say that they ran away? it makes sense

Tomás was here with us all afternoon

a window of opportunity was created, the kids took advantage and ran away

you should be thankful

- It wasn't Tomás i guarantee

- How are you so sure?

- Oh Manuel stop with that please - You were there?

- This was already too far

Too far?

what João?

us being here doing your dirty work?

you refused to see what is in front of you?

- What i see in front of me Manuel?

what i see in front of me is a humiliating show

- Manuel do you want me...

- I want you to shut up

and why didn't you tell me immediately when the kids appeared?

- I had more things to worry about

and i wasn't really waiting for this

- You weren't waiting of what?

you, you didn't do everything to find your son João

flesh of your flesh. blood of your blood

it's like it was you

i would turn the world upside down for you

you weren't waiting of what?

- I didn't ask you anything of this

- I know

i know you didn't

and probably you'll never ask

doesn't matter what i do

doesn't matter what i will do

alright

so let's make a point of the situation

in our inquiries, we came to the conclusion that Tomás

was the main suspect of the kidnap of your son

actually the police has a capture order

and then you come here to tell us that we're all wrong, isn't it?

- Tomás isn't a flower to be smelled

but Tomás has nothing to do with the disappearance of Sandra

nor Steven

- It's sad

- You lost all the control, didn't you Manuel?

everything that you teached me

the honor

the harmony

the in and ian

they don't mean anything to you anymore?

the west brought the worst of you, right Manuel?

- I am the west

my origin

was the worst enemy that i had in the west but i can't deny it, can i?

- Where is this gonna bring you?

what do you want more?

you're losing the relevance

besides all that stupid thing of

the culture and petroleum

of policy

deeply you're just a gangster with illusions of greatness

and for more eloquent that it is

for more that people don't resist your charm

it isn't gonna last too long

- Is that a threat?

- It's a advice

if you wanna continue with your dark path

moral

without honor

without logic

and if you wanna hug that psychotic madness

that it looks like you've entered

my advice

is for you to kill me now

here

the floor is already ready

it's just rolling up the bodies in the plastics

something that Susana knows to do very well, right?

do it

let's do this

let's go

- I'm sorry

i had to kill one more

clean everything until 8am

- Cátia

Cátia

Cátia Cátia

Cátia Cátia

calm

Cátia

everything's ok

calm, breathe, look at me, look at me

everything's ok

everything's ok

calm calm, everything

everything's ok, breathe

breathe

everything's ok

WERE NOT ASTRONAUT GODS? - Duration: 7:39.

Have you heard of the ancient astronauts?

the idea that we've been visited?

this idea is well-known that was disclosed in the series '' aliens of the past ''

but is it really true?

in this video we will sceptically discuss the book '' Were the Astronaut Gods? ''

the book written by Erich Von Däniken written in 1970 says that we have already been visited by aliens

and he raises alleged evidence that this has happened

Demystifying '' Astronaut Gods ''

(introduction)

And there cosmologists all right?

And this is a video about whether or not they were astronaut gods.

who is Erich Von Däniken a Swiss archaeologist

its claims are that the technologies of the past were very advanced for the time

one of its evidences is the map of Piri Reis of century 16

which theoretically would have many details for his time

he portrayed Western Europe, Africa, and South America

in was made in 1513 in the city of Constantinople

but it was made at the time of the great navigations

many maps have been created to explore the world

That is, cartographers like Piri Reis were very well paid at the time

and this map is very similar to others of the time, it does not make sense to be alien

it also says a lot about the pyramids of Khufu

which are very well made pyramids of Egypt

but he says that they are extraterrestrial technologies

however today we know how they were made

How were the pyramids assembled?

there are several theories about mega-ramps

but the most accepted hypothesis was actually created in 2006

which works by a system of internal ramps

which was later proven with a study of the density of the pyramid

which had basically hollow regions

the pyramids evolved according to the time

This indicates that the techniques have improved

Okay, but because different civilizations made pyramids

Well, physics is the same everywhere.

the pyramids are the most resistant geometric figures on the planet

it is the simplest way to reach the heavens with a very broad base

he said that the stones were very heavy that the cuts were very well made

well, but it is possible to make pyramids with the technology of the time

he also speaks of the astronomical part of the pyramid

because it is aligned with some civilizations

and supposed to be constellations of aliens

but we know that the constellations were very exploited at the time

because it was a matter of life and death understand them

I understand the skies you know when to plant, harvest, hunt...

so every ancient civilization has basic knowledge of astronomy

and all the constellations were created mythologies about them

so it was normal for this pyramid to have those alignments

another thing said is the Tunguska event

which took place in 1908 in siberia

which was when a meteorite struck Earth and generated a major earthquake

however Erich tells this as being an alien atomic bomb

but if it were a bomb we would have radiation records

the event simulated all the effects of an atomic bomb

but as well explained by Carl Sagan, the region had no record of radiation

so it could not be a bomb

also could not be an alien ship that crashed

because no metal, transistor or wreck of a ship was found

Von Däniken says that the Nazca lines were made by aliens because they would be very large

the monuments on Easter Island and Tiwanaku

but as we explained well in the video '' THE GENIUSITY OF THE ANTIGOS ''

they were not dumb people, that's a temporary bias

they did not have access to information like today, but they were very intelligent

and have managed to develop great things

Aristarchus of Samos, 22 centuries ago

He believed that the Earth was a planet and as the others orbited the Sun

at the same time, more than 20 centuries ago

he knew that the earth was round

he was born around 460 BC

and he believed that matter was made of atoms

these ancient monuments can be explained by the cognitive revolution

described in the book '' Sapiens ''

75,000 years ago the cognitive revolution united us as a species

we managed to create the first civilizations on a large scale

this is due to the beliefs and religions

when we could believe in things that did not exist

we revolutionize our way of acting socially

developing this mystical language, we grow in number

beliefs are very important in the past.

they motivated incredible things

but also terrible things like the massacres of the Mayas and Aztecs

religions can create wars, unite people, why not huge monuments?

An argumentative flaw in the book is the forced identification of patterns

for example this photo that is on the cover of the book

He says he's an Alien.

but if you analyze the context it is only a symbol of the time

it finds many patterns by its confirmation bias

Another problem is the '' Aliens of the Gaps ''

so everything we do not know how it was done are aliens

we have the well documented Rome Coliseum

we do not say that it is made by aliens

in the future it is possible, if we have few records, that we say that the redeeming Christ is alien

so if we do not know it's not necessarily alien

in science we must rely on the concept of Occam's razor

which always takes the simplest hypothesis

that is, it is easier to have been human beings

than to assume that a civilization sailed trillions of kilometers and shared some of its technology

the aliens most likely exist but we can not say yet that they came in contact

well, I could narrate every argument quoted by Erich

however I will be leaving links in the description refuting various arguments

we should always be skeptical, we have to be careful with fake news

we are in a world with more information and less sense

(thanks)

Spal-Inter: probabili formazioni  Spal (3-5-2): Gomis; Cionek, Vicari, Felipe; Schiattarella, Valoti, Missiroli, Lazzari, Fares; Antenucci, Petagna

Allenatore: Leonardo Semplici.  Inter [VIDEO] (4-2-3-1): Handanovic; Asamoah, Miranda, Skriniar, Vrsaljko; Borja Valero, Vecino; Perisic, Nainggolan, Keita; Icardi

Allenatore: Luciano Spalletti.

Openwork ball of twine. Master Class - Duration: 20:57.

Workshop Valeria Radyk "The Magic World of manual creativity"

Hello everyone, Valery is with you! Welcome to my magical world of creativity!

Today we are going to make a Christmas tree toy,

namely the twine ball

in jute filigree technique.

I explain in more detail about working with twine in the master class (link in the description below the video),

as well as a hint will appear in the upper right corner of the screen:

twine, polymer glue, soft tube with a narrow spout,

Samantha Markle turned away from Kensington Palace in bizarre attempt to see Meghan - Duration: 4:18.

According to The Sun, Samantha Markle, 53, was locked in an embarrassing stand-off with police guards as she tried to visit the Duchess of Sussex after their bitter fallout

But instead of a chance to speak to Meghan, the American tourist was forced to reluctantly leave a note with the guards for her estranged half-sister, the Sunday Mirror reports

Samantha arrived in London two weeks ago claiming she wanted to speak to her half-sister, who she hasn't seen in more than a decade

A source told the newspaper: "This was a huge move on the part of Meghan's sister to try to see her face-to-face and the fact she was turned away speaks volumes

" Samantha later tweeted about the attempt to reconnect with her sister, writing: "Everybody would love to know what's in that letter

" Samantha first hit out at her famous half-sister after her romance with Prince Harry was revealed, branding her a "social climber" who is "not fit to be a royal"

She then announced that she would release her memoirs and that her sister should prepare herself for some home truths

But it was after she was snubbed from the wedding that things really turned sour and she has continued to vent her fury with frequent Twitter tirades

Samantha's representatives reportedly sent palace officials a letter demanding a meeting and giving them an ultimatum — arrange a face-to-face meeting with Meghan or she would show up on her doorstep

"She said words to the effect that if the Palace didn't do something to help mend the rift now, something may happen to their dad, who is in ill health," a source said

"The suggestion was that if the rift was left unhealed it would be their fault. She went to the gates and tried to reason with them … She explained she had been in touch with palace officials and claimed they had ignored her advances, leaving her no choice but to arrive uninvited

" Samantha, who suffers from multiple sclerosis, showed up a few days later with her partner, who pushed her wheelchair to the entrance of Kensington Palace

She was hopeful she would be let in but they turned her away and she handed one of the guards a letter for Meghan in the hope that it would get passed on, the source said

They then bizarrely went souvenir shopping and appeared to buy royal merchandise — including Meghan and Harry masks

During her UK visit, Samantha appeared on Jeremy Vine's Channel 5 show where she defended her decision to criticise her half-sister from dad Thomas's first marriage

"I would just say that there's so much water under the bridge and so much has spun out of control that was never intended to," Samantha said

"I think everybody was hurt at not being included or invited to the wedding. I felt it could've all been nipped in the bud had everyone been included and we all agreed to move forward with positive resolve

"The hurt feelings wouldn't have snowballed but, believe it or not, it doesn't mean we don't love you any less

"I just think that families can be this way when there's confusion and when people are hurt … So moving forward I apologise and I wish things could be different

" This story originally appeared in The Sun and is republished here with permission

Stockton ATP Challenger - Lloyd Harris - South African tennis player inches from default - Duration: 0:42.

Commentator: Oh my - Whoa.. oh God he almost got defaulted by maybe six inches. That

almost hit somebody and almost hit three people. Had he hit somebody he would have

been out of this tournament. Harris then taking a second now and apologising

everybody in the stands which is the right thing to do. But again he within

literal inches of hitting three people, would have ended it.

Uncovering Prince with Morris Hayes of The NPG | Part Three! - Duration: 23:36.

one thing that you worked on twice actually at two different times is the 7 CD New

Funk Sample Set - yeah so I know that was originally happening around rave unto the joy

fantastic era then nothing for years and years and years and then at NAMM in 2010

2011 you was doing an interview and you said you were working on it again so what

happened back cuz Hans told us that Prince kind of flip-flopped on it, he

wanted to do it he didn't want to do it..... Well, my thing was... I managed to talk him out of it. He wanted

to do it and I didn't think that number one.... He kinda made good logic but he

didn't because he didn't know the game and what my thing was I used a lot of

sample CDs and stuff like that in our production like a lot of stuff we

used like for Interactive I had some Steve Stevens guitar samples crazy sounds and i would incorporate them into the tracks we did.

So Prince decided he wanted to do this and it's crazy to me because he's like wanting to do seven CDs different genres like horns, vocals, guitar, drums, bass, keys basically 99 tracks just like a

CD I'm like Prince this is NOT gonna work! He said Why not? like you know how much it's $700

it would cost them a lot more to get me to come in the studio and play it. I mean I

understand that but that's not how the sample game works it's like when you

have samples it's like gigs of like data on here you got like 99 tracks

and that's like cut.... and plus, I said Prince, Warner Bros is never gonna go for this.

I said, you got "Kiss", you got all of these excerpts from the actual record.

That's gotta get cleared from them, and I called Londell McMillan, and I told Londell, I said, Londell

Prince is doing this sample CD and I really think it's gonna be a problem, man.

And I played it for him and he's like oh yeah, no, this is not gonna work.

And I said well you gotta talk to him! If he puts this out.... and I'm working there so the dude is telling me I want you to do this thing

like, it's part of my job to do it. But I'm trying to reason with him like, Prince, if you put this out

Once it's out, like...Anybody can have these loops on this thing.

I don't see how Warners are gonna go for this, or how it's going to work.

I didn't know if he really understood how that thing worked. It'd be different if he said I'm gonna play all original stuff on this disc.

And now they have this new set. But what I did manage to do towards the end and it just never got fulfilled,

I was working with....a good friend of mine here, Damien Egan, and what I told him was Prince, I think this is the move.

That we make a virtual instrument and we put all of our sounds in this virtual instrument and people could buy the virtual instrument with the Prince sounds in it.

That way, it becomes a more playable thing that's open to intepretation, we can put the essence of these drum loops

and stuff like that with separate hits, and he was like OK. But the sample CD project itself, I finally managed to talk him out of it.

Like, I just think it's not a good idea. You're gonna fight with the label, they're gonna come for this and it's gonna be a fight, man. And Londell agreed with me.

I played him some of the samples, and he's like oh my god, yeah, no. This cannot happen.

A lot of fans were surprised even that Crystal Ball managed to come out with all the stuff being Warners material.

That's what I'm saying man, it was crazy. But it's hard to stop a train when Prince got on something. He kinda went back and forth on it.

He just knew that I could do it, and I did the work, it's done! But I said, don't release it. It was cool for me, he paid me to do it.

And all of this kinda stuff. But I just said, don't do this, man. Not this way.

I feel like, A) you've got the Warners thing and B) like if he did put it out and then all of a sudden there's like a commercial for steak, and it's got like sounds from "1999" in it, then Prince is gonna be like..... wait, what?

I thought the same thing, like I don't know if he understands what's gonna happen once everybody has this.

Someone could technically make a full on new album out of samples of all your songs

Right, and that's why I thought, since Warners had a hand on the publishing of that, they were gonna have to have approval too and nobody there was gonna do that.

They wouldn't approve that, I don't think. Who knows, but that was my take on it and Londell agreed with me about that.

He was so into it that he even did the advert on the DVD for Rave - oh yeah, I did this whole promo where I programmed my computer to talk like this whole section of

conversations about this and we've made this whole like commercials like bang

this crazy. But it's cool, to me it's like The Black Album, I get to be a part of something that's like "What happened to that one thing that happened" and it's in The Vault so that's one of those things. It's in The Vault and there's where it'll be.

In this day and age you could have made like an app out of it.

so like the virtual..... Oh like I said you know we just did and we implemented, towards the end I was working with Prince after I had left the band, I had left in 2012. We

were in talks about it and I had this guy Damien and we had the whole thing and it was dope. And I'm still gonna do it! But from a different

perspective like from Mr Hayes type keyboards programmed like how I used to do it so now you have access to the synths and the style but you put it together how you wanna put it together.

So that's what that's about and we'll do that instead and make this really dope other instrument.

There's another component to it, like a teaching component and that's sorta thing too. That's something I'm looking at

working on and it's just an accident that my guy Damien was at the show last night and we're gonna put that together.

he's got a press boards for Black Eyed Peas he's done and a couple other cats you know

just made their own instruments so he showed me the designs and the interface, once I program the sounds it's gonna be a dope instrument.

What would you say was the hardest thing for you about working with Prince?

The unknown. The thing that comes to mind is I used to come to rehearsal, and I would park in the underground garage. And whenever I would pull in and see his car I was like "Oh my god, he's here", my stomach would just like

get upset like "oh god"

"uuuuuuughhhhhh" cuz it would be so hard some days, like, who's day is it gonna be to get killed cuz he was tough in rehearsals, oh my god.

so that was the thing for me, the stress. Not knowing if it's gonna be a good day or a bad day.

If it's gonna be fun, or if it's gonna be like... *angry choking sounds* you know, there was that.

But it made you better, you know. It's like boot camp. You go in for basic training and like pow pow pow we're gotta toughen you up and make you great, his whole thing was about making you great.

What is something that you til this day that you take with you?

The whole experience really. You know, Prince came to my house. This dude came to my house, towards the end when I was leaving and it was one of the craziest things.

I remember telling my wife at the time, he came over with Bria.

And I was cooking something, and he just showed up at my house. I'm like, what's up dude? I said do you wanna come in and he could smell the meat and was like nah I'll stay out here on the porch.

Now I lived in like a lil area and Kirk lived across from me, this area right across from his driveway.

And so he's out on the porch and he's like telling me all this stuff like Morris I really appreciate you, you've introduced me to a lot of people that Iove.

I'm standing here like "What is this?" like he's on my porch, like the neighbours could see him, you know!

And he gets down on his knees and kisses my hand! And I'm looking for the cameras like I'm looking for Ashton Kutcher

like, this is Punk'd, i'm like where are the cameras. I'm looking for somebody to jump out and be like HAHA! We got you.

I'm tripping and he goes, you know Morris I'm sorry I was hard on you, I just wanted you to be great.

I'm so stunned because he's saying all of this and telling me he loves me.

It took like 15 minutes or something. He leaves and I go in my wife's office to collect myself, I had to sit down and process what just happened.

I called her at work and said you are not gonna believe what just happened. Prince was just over here with Bria and he was out on our porch and got on his knees and kissed my hand like I was Queen Elizabeth or something.

and told me all the stuff I thought I said I told myself

that it was like a trick and I'm like I'm like going like what the ... just happened right now

I'm like I got tears in my eyes and she's like what?

I'm like he just showed up and told me all this stuff with Bria and thank God she was there

because nobody would believe it if I didn't have a witness

And she was just standing there while he was saying all this stuff. It's funny I got this feeling like I had then like what's happening right now.

I had to collect myself man I went in her office and just sat in her chair for a minute

just like man like this is crazy and I don't know what just happened

but it's bananas it was like great.

A lot of people talk about this kind of like

Gemini duality of like Prince so in order to have

his sort of larger-than-life I'm the man you will all do what I say moments, he also had

to have these moments of like extreme humility and I'm very humble

Absolutely, I don't know a whole lot about astrology and all that stuff but from what I know about Gemini he is a classic Gemini.

The two sides thing is just so true and it's funny man, it's just so funny

from one day to the next, with him you just don't know. And that's when I came up with the whole theory that there's 5 of him. There was 5 Princes.

And I had numbered them, and named them. There was like Prince #1, the one I saw first, was the Purple Rain Prince. When I went to see the movie that's what I thought Prince was.

When I got there, and I got to see the hard dude in rehearsal, this dude, I was like oh my god he's mean!

That's Prince #2, that's the second one I got exposed to. #3 was this one that was fun, basketball, talking about each other's moms, joking and playing pranks

#4 was the sad Prince. Like the guy that was really hurting somewhere, and when he's hurt, you're gonna be hurt too. That's just the way it was.

and #5 was the dude who'd give you the shirt off his back. For anybody, he would just do some of the most incredible acts of kindness you've ever seen in terms of giving.

Those were the 5 that I just kinda identified and what I figured out was that when I come in, I don't say nothin.

I just let him start talking and then I know which one showed up. And so if he came and he was hot, I'd say OK, #2 is here today.

And I'd let the band know #2 is here, if you got a problem day and don't have your work together, you're in a world of trouble

and if he was like in a jovial mood, I'd say alright, #3 is here. and if #2 was there that's what you'd hear, a lot of screaming, that's what you'd hear at Paisley if #2 showed up.

When you were at 3121 in Vegas at the Rio, will.i.am told the story about (Michael?) - Michael in the audience, Prince goes over playing bass - did he laugh about that?

Yeah, it was funny man, I remember when Mike came that night, it was bananas cuz we had the Twins man and they LOVED Mike, they looooooooooved Mike so they just lost it man.

They just went banana sandwiches, like *impersonates The Twinz* "ooohhhhh god he's here" and I was like man, relax, chill out, they was like

"he's backstage right now, he's backstaaaage, oh my goddddd"

Yeah, The Twinz were funny, cos they're Australian girls, everything's like *unintelligible fast-paced blabbering in Australian accent* like didgeridoos, nothing changes, no up and down

I remember Will talking about it cuz Prince went over to his table and stood on his table like *mimics slap bass playing* right in their faces ya know.

And he said, that Mike said "Prince is such a meanie!" *laughing* but it was cool, Mike came back and Dave Chappelle was there that night.

and it was cool because Prince had invited them over to his apartment, we had this crazy place at this hotel just like him and Elton John and

a bunch of people staying there and you get like a whole floor and it's like, bananas. So he invited Mike and all them over, the Jackson's people, and he asked me, cuz I had had my car shipped out.

Prince said "You should bring your car out and we'll have our cars out". He had his Bentley.

And I had my lil convertible. And I had brought my car but it's like a 2 seater.

you know the Lexus convertible he said, could you bring over Rebbie

and her son and I was like well I think I can get him in the back, it's a short ride. He said yeah just put him in the back. So Rebbie Jackson got in the car with me and I took her over to the house.

Mike said he couldn't come, he said thanks but I gotta go do something else.

and we just went over the house but it was cool man, Mike came, and he was just like, he really liked the show and everything, and The Twinz, you just had to like scoop them up with a shovel. They just melted man, they was done.

Shelby and them was back there, and they was all trippin man. It was cool man that Mike came through.

But it's like, they were friends but Prince was always competitive. It was always a thing like it's my show and Mike is here and he always had this.....

They reminded me of like that cartoon, with the coyote and the dog, punch in the clock and they're at war, while they're doing their work and then they punch the clock out, and they're walking together going home.

That reminded me of Prince and Michael, you know. If it was on the stage it was always competition but if it's after, they was cool.

He told me about a time, Prince, Mike and Lenny Kravitz in the studio together all hanging out talking, just shooting the breeze, talking about different stuff! Like, what!

He was like don't let Mike fool you, Mike is a pimp, don't let him fool you, he be cool but he'll be like *flirty MJ voice* "Hey, what's your name?" and I was like what!!! That's crazy.

Did you ever see him out at Paisley? Cuz I think that Michael B said that MJ came to Paisley once.

I didn't see it, I think I heard that, that he was there but I wasn't there, I didn't see it, or.... I thought I heard somebody say that he was there but I wasn't there though.

I know they had a meeting at like, Record Plant, or something, once. Yeah, he had told me that he had hung out with him in the studio, him and Lenny were talking about it.

I'm not gonna talk about what they said but it was funny man, I was like, man, that's so cool, all 3 of y'all just kicking it in the studio man.

Prince was very distraught when Mike died, man. He took it really hard. I went to the studio and he told me to send everybody home.

I know he had brought, uh, Lenny's drummer. Cindy Blackman had came.

And I think, ummm, bass player, Nik West, and this other girl that was playing with....

And he just said, take a video of them, put it on my desk, and put them on a plane and send them home, I don't want to do anything for the rest of the week.

He was just distraught and said, I don't feel no music right now. Send the band home for the rest of the week, and I'll call you.

He took it very, very hard man, and you know, and what's crazy about it is, the day before

I rode with Prince to go get some coffee, he liked this iced coffee at this place called Caribou.

And we rode over there and he got in the car and didn't put his seatbelt on. I said man, put your seatbelt on. He said I don't like it man, it messes up my suits.

And I said it's better to have a wrinkled up suit than a wrinkled up butt. So I said, put yo seatbelt on, man. And he put it on and went to get the coffee, and the next night...

He called me and said he wanted to go to the club, we were going downtown to check out this band. So when I got to Paisley, he said, you drive.

So I got in his car and I'm driving man and I said Prince, put yo seatbelt on man! And he said, well, I'll put it on since you drivin, like trying to make a joke.

I said Prince, for real, dude, if something were to happen to you, people would be distraught man. You a national treasure, matter fact, an international treasure.

You do not wanna get taken out over something simple like a seatbelt. I just told him - you gotta wear your seatbelt bro.

Cuz Prince was a terrible driver, man. He drove way too fast and he was terrible, man! I'd be riding with him and I'd be like "oh my god, ohhhh god" and so whenever I rode with him, I drove!

He had his Bentley out in LA and we were on Sunset, it was like 2 in the morning, 1 o clock in the morning or something man, he'd just got this Bentley and he's like dude you should drive it man, it's crazy fast.

I'm like, I don't wanna do it, I don't wanna get no ticket in Beverly Hills. He said don't worry about that man, just punch it! I said Prince I don't wanna get no ticket man!

He said, I'll pay for it!

I'm like, man, it'd be on my record. He's like, Morris you are such a baby! And I punched this thing. Bro....

I had no freaking clue that this thing has this kinda power. It took off and it was like a cartoon, I was like aaahhhh! Pinned back in the seat, almost ran into some trees bro.

He was laughing his head off man, he thinks it's funny. I'm like oh my god, Prince this car is heavy, I didn't think that it could go this fast.

Cuz you could feel the weight of this car, it's like a V12. It's like a freakin airplane engine in this thing. I was like, oh my god bro.

He's laying over on the window laughing. He's thinking it's the funniest thing ever and I'm like, I just told him

If something were to happen to you, man, people....... The *next day* Michael Jackson died. And I think coupled with what I told him about if something would happen to him and how the world would be sad...

That next day the world was sad because of what happened to Michael Jackson, and I think it hit him, man, it hit him in the chest cuz that's a reality check.

Barcelona news: - Duration: 2:50.

The Mestalla is notorious for being one of the most difficult grounds to go to in La Liga

But Barcelona are now without a win in four league matches. They have drawn three times against Girona, Athletic Club and now Valencia whilst losing in embarrassing circumstances to bottom of the table Leganes

Many believed that the Catalans had turned to corner after the emphatic victory over Spurs in the Champions League

Barca were ruthless and Lionel Messi was back to his best but they failed to take the same kind of form into league action on Sunday

They got off to the worst possible start with Ezequiel Garay gave Valencia the lead after just two minutes

Messi equalised with 23 minutes gone but the visitors were unable to score a winner despite having 76% possession

Now fans are calling for Ernesto Valverde to be sacked despite winning the La Liga title and the Copa del Rey last season

"Ernesto Valverde subs on our "solutions" with 5-7 minutes left. I just wanna ask him: What are they supposed to do?" One fan fumed

"If you knew or thought that we needed them, what didn't you sub them on from before? Please explained because I'm VERY confused

" "Valverde is too simple for Barca," another fan said. "Barcelona Happily announce that they successfully finished transition from sexy football into comedy football under Valverde," moaned another supporter

Sevilla now top the table after capitalising on a horrific stretch of form from both Barcelona and Real Madrid

Los Blancos were beaten 1-0 at Alaves and have not scored a goal in four matches

"Have absolutely run out of patience with Valverde man. Such a mid table team mentality

So afraid to lose, that he doesn't even try to go for the win," said another angry supporter

Cardi B Inspired Lookbook | 4 Everyday Outfits - Duration: 4:13.

hey guys welcome to my channel thank you for stopping by today I will be doing a

cardi B inspired lookbook I am going to share with you guys four different

everyday outfits cardi B really blew up this year I feel like she is one of the

fastest-growing female rappers she released her album invasion of privacy

and I loved it it was on a repeat for days I love her style I feel like she

has this wild style but she's still confident that it really works for her I

will be toning it down a little bit just so it can be more of an everyday outfit

I am planning to do more celebrity inspired lookbook so if that's something

you're into then don't forget to subscribe now that all of thats out of the

way let's begin

so for my first outfit I drew inspiration from the music video finesse

by Bruno Mars featuring cardi b she's wearing this multi-coloured outfit I

believe they drew inspiration from the show in living color she also performed

the song at the Grammys and she's wearing a similar multi-coloured outfit

along with a moschino jacket that I adore I believe it's valued at like a

thousand something and of course it's sold out I love the look that she was

going for so I had to recreate it in this outfit pair a multicolored sweater

with my favorite American Apparel denim shorts I got my top from Shein which I

also did a try on haul for so if you're interested in that I will link that down

below I am wearing my all white vans and I obviously had to add in my

enormous hoops as the cherry on top cardi wears a hat in both outfits but I

decided to opt out for it because I don't think I would wear a hat with this

outfit on a regular day if you guys live in Los Angeles then you guys probably

have heard of Coachella if not it's a huge music festival that happens twice a

year and this past year cardi B performed and I just loved her

performance she was wearing this all white outfit with these pigtails

I believe she drew inspiration from the 90s girl group TLC and I thought she did

a fabulous job at doing that I believe her outfit was custom made by

the alejandro collection so I couldn't find a price on it but I got it feeling

that her outfit was a tad more expensive than mine my outfit is yep all white on

top I am wearing a white body that I got from pretty little things on the bottom

I wear a pair of denim pants I got from free people instead of pigtails I went

for two french braids I also decided to complete this outfit with a pair of

leopard heels since our girl cardi loves animal print so I noticed that Cardi

loves wearing matching sets so I decided to do something similar to that she also

loves adding a fur throw as an accessory so I decided to use the fur

throw I use for my chair and I think it looks pretty similar I am wearing the

Luella set that I got from the for love and lemons warehouse sale if they

ever hold a sale in your area then you must go because everything I got was at

least 50 percent off I love the subtle floral details on the suit because of

the dark navy I decided to add in my nude heels so if you listened

to Cardi Bs album or if you listen to any popular radio stations then you probably

have heard of the song I like it I love that song and I love the music

video I thought she looked so beautiful in her outfit she was channeling her

Dominican side and I think she did a phenomenal job at doing that I wanted to

do something similar to what she was wearing but of course I had to tone it

down a little bit because I wanted it to be something that you could wear on a

daily basis so my indecisive self couldn't decide on one top so I decided

to share both with you guys for the first one I decided to wear a white crop

top and I add in the vibrant colors of cardis outfit with these beautiful

bracelets that I got from asos for my second outfit I am wearing this mesh

embellished bodysuit from Topshop I thought the embellishment was a perfect

substitute for cardi bs top instead of a long ruffle yellow skirt I decided to go

for a yellow denim skirt in both outfits I wear a pair of tan slides and of

course I couldn't forget about her blue turban I decided to put on a blue

headband instead so the first outfit was a little more subtle and the second one

was a little crazier so I guess it just depends what you're going for that's all

I have for you guys I hope you guys enjoyed it if you guys like this video

please give it a thumbs up and don't forget to subscribe to see more

celebrity inspired look books I will see you guys next time

bye

No Views On Youtube? Fix your THUMBNAILS! - Duration: 6:00.

Why aren't people clicking on my videos?

Should I put text in my thumbnails?

I thought I was supposed to put my face in my thumbnails

Aren't my thumbnails supposed to all look similar?

Does any of this sound familiar?

You're a small channel trying to get people to notice you

and no matter what you do, you just can't seem to get views on your videos.

My name is Daniel and I'm here to help.

I'm going to give you a simple four step strategy

that's going to get traffic flowing to your channel

And today we're going to learn step 2

Thumbnails.

Now, I know you think you might already have a handle on thumbnails

but thumbnails are the second most important

part of your video... behind your titles

Because once you've positioned for that perfectly crafted title that we talked about in our first episode

Now you need to "win the click", as they say

from all of the videos

and the other thumbnails that are suggested around you

Why doesn't YouTube just tell us what a good thumbnail looks like?

Well, guess what? They do!

But the answer is different for almost every channel out there

But let me help you find where that answer is located.

First let me quickly address a couple of the common issues

that creators deal with every time they make a thumbnail.

#1: Should I be putting text on my face in my thumbnail?

Okay, there's a bit of evidence that shows that putting a face in a thumbnail

tend to get clicked slightly more often than ones without

But listen to me,

The real answer here is

Whatever gets people to click your thumbnail

over the other thumbnails around it

That's what should be in your thumbnail

That being said, if you do use text

Make sure it's readable

One of the biggest mistakes I see people make in their thumbnails

Is they get all wrapped up and trying to have the coolest font out there

But by the time the thumbnail gets shrunken down on a mobile device

you can't even read anything it says

Another mistake I see creators making

is using way too much text

Come on, people... it isn't a highway sign, it's a thumbnail

People don't read thumbnails

They just glance at them.

Only put in your thumbnail what a potential viewer could understand at a glance

#2: The timestamp

The Timestamp is that little time code that YouTube super-imposes

on every thumbnail on YouTube

It lets the viewer know ahead of time how long each video is.

Danger lies down in that corner. Keep things away from that corner

Because if you do put text there, people will most likely not be able to read it

#3: Should all my thumbnails look similar? That's branding, right?

This is a big speed bump for a lot of new creators and I'm going to ruffle a few feathers here.

People get all wrapped up in trying to make their thumbnails similar

and creating what they think is their brand

before they even know what the viewers they're trying to reach

even like in a thumbnail

You're a young channel... experiment.

Try different things!

It's okay if your thumbnails all look a little different right now

while you try to figure out what's best for your channel

On my channel right now... it looks like a thumbnail factory threw up in there

Because right now I'm testing a bunch of different thumbnails

To see which style my audience responds best to

I was using this thumbnail and I thought it looked pretty good!

But guess what? My viewers thought this thumbnail was twice as good

I tested this with TubeBuddy's A/B thumbnail tester

and it got twice the click-through rate of the first thumbnail

And there it is.

I said the magic words

Click-through Rate.

Now, listen to me very carefully because this is where all the magic lies.

Click-through rate might sound like some fancy-schmancy

mathematical term that you would need an engineering degree to understand

It's just YouTube trying to tell you...

just you

What your audience thinks of your thumbnails

Click-through rate is just a percentage of how many times

people click your thumbnail

when it's put in front of them by YouTube

They call showing the thumbnail to people "Impressions"

I guess "Show 'ems" was already taken.

To find this stuff, this click-through rate

Login to your YouTube account

Once you're into YouTube studio BETA,

Click on videos to find the video you want to learn about

Click on Analytics and finally the Reach Viewers tab

And there you'll see the information funnel that will show you your click-through rate

YouTube has said the average click-through rate

across the platform is between 2% and 10%

And before you ask, there is no perfect "CTR"

A 3.7% click-through rate on a video that's getting good views and performing well

can actually be a really good click-through rate

And listen, a completely sucky thumbnail

might be the perfect thumbnail for your video

Remember that air fryer beef jerky video I told you about from the first episode?

That thumbnail haunts me to this day

It is disgusting!

But! It has an 8% lifetime click-through rate

So guess what?

That ugly thumbnail is the perfect thumbnail for that video

because people are clicking it

and I'm going to leave that right where it is

The biggest tip I can give you is make sure that the video

delivers on the promise that the thumbnail makes.

If I show a picture of me eating a tarantula in a thumbnail

I'd better make sure that I eat a tarantula in the video!

I did. It was disgusting

What you don't want to have happen is someone click the thumbnail

watch the video and bail after 10 seconds thinking, "This isn't what I thought it was going to be"

Here's another tip.

if you still can't figure out what you think your thumbnail should look like

Do a search for the title that you plan on using in your video

See what other people are doing. See what their thumbnails look like

Another strategy is what I like to "Ball being the white ball in the red room"

If there was an entire room of colorful red balls and one bland, white was put in there

The white one would stick out

and BAM! That's the one your eye is drawn to.

And the last tip...

it's good to ask people what they think of your thumbnails

and reach out to people to get their opinions

But at the end of the day, even my opinion is crap

The only opinions that matter are the

are the opinions of the people who are either clicking

or not clicking your thumbnail

and if you have a good click-through rate...

That's a good thumbnail!

No matter what anyone else tries to tell you

So try different things... go for it!

And if you've learned anything here today, do me a favor

So you don't miss the rest of this conversation

Peace!

What are the steps for preparing a sermon? - Duration: 2:36.

[MUSIC PLAYING]

So everybody's asking me about the Seven Step method.

How it developed ...

I just gave you a little back story in our home in New Delhi,

India, as younger men were being developed as my Timothies

from a Paul.

Actually, my middle name is Paul.

Did you know that?

Now let's talk about the seven steps themselves.

Basically two lenses with a nose bridge, just like my glasses,

if you are looking at me, and it's got two wings as well.

The left lens is the text lens.

The right lens is the sermon lens.

Each has a wing.

The text lens is related to all of scripture.

So you don't take one part of scripture

and make it run on its own.

It needs to be aligned and contained by scripture.

Your right lens is related to all of culture, your audience.

Your audience is unique.

Actually, your audience is a subculture.

Even two churches in the same denomination will be different.

So you need to learn your audience.

There are three steps under each lens, let me give them to you.

You can find the meat behind these steps

in one of the books or other videos that I have produced.

Step one, as you know, or need to know, is study the text.

Step two is to structure the text.

Step three is the central proposition of the text.

Notice, text, text, text.

It's when you are focusing on a text in God's Word.

And then you're going to move to the sermon through what we

call the purpose bridge.

That's step four.

And then you come to the sermon side.

The sermon side has the central proposition

of the sermon, the structure of the sermon,

and to preach the sermon.

Sermon, sermon, sermon.

It's a seven step process.

I think you might enjoy learning, memorizing,

and applying this process every week, week by week.

You don't have to wonder Saturday night what are you

going to preach, Sunday morning, what

are you going to preach, as long as you've

gone through these particular mechanics under the dynamism

of prayer and the Holy Spirit and your spiritual disciplines

in getting ready to preach God's Word.

5 importants things to know before starting your art career | L'ARTmoire by Fanny Duhaime - Duration: 3:52.

Today I talk to you about the five things important things to think about before

to start as an artist

Hi me it's Fanny Duhaime, I'm an artist painter and I gave myself as mission

to help you propel your career as an artist.

And to succeed, it takes you to the base five essential things you have to

reflect.

There are many others, but today we will focus on these five.

First, did you define your artist name?

Most artists were promoting themselves with their own name.

As is my case, I was promoting myself as as Fanny Duhaime Painter.

But many others use a pseudonym like for example, Rio, Corno, Vigo, there

also Berko.

And here I am realizing that they end all in "o", but it is not necessary

that this is the case for yours, so free it's up to you to decide if you want to promote yourself

as your name or choose you a pseudonym.

You have to determine that before you start your promotion, and also know that it will influence

your signature.

After that, you have to make yourself a website, this is the basis.

This is where your customers, gallery owners and your future business contacts will go

to know more about you.

This is among other things your virtual portfolio.

It's not complicated to make one if you do not not at this moment, I invite you to watch

my capsule on this topic by just clicking here at the top.

Once your website is done, you have to decide with which networks

you will promote yourself.

Nowadays, that's what it is the most efficient.

For my part I started with my page artist on Facebook, and quietly

I'm starting to work with Instagram.

I advise you to start at maximum with two social networks and ideally to master

one really good before starting another, but not more than two because it's a lot

time to invest because for that walk you have to have a very good

consistency of publication.

When all that is decided, what did you your artist name, your website is done

and you decided with which social networks you will promote yourself, now you can

do your business cards so you go put on your map all this information

and you can also add if you want, your number phone number and your email address.

Another thing you have to think about and who will influence the rest of your planning

what is your career goal? For example: do you want to be represented

by gallerists all around the world, or if you prefer to represent yourself

and browse your area by participating in several exhibitions.

To know that from the beginning is important because you'll be able to direct all your

strategy in a good way.

I remain available if you have questions on one or the other of these points, you

can you leave me your question or your comment? just here under the video, it'll make me

pleasure to answer you!

If you liked, this capsule does not hesitate to click on the little thumbs up and

I invite you to subscribe to the YouTube channel if it's not already done for nothing

miss upcoming capsules.

Thank you very much for your listening, we see each other next week!

So this week I got a baritone ukulele, which is super exciting!

And this is gonna be the first cover with the baritone

Also I was planning to do this song anyway but I realized that this is

right around the time of my four year anniversary with my boyfriend

So this is sort of for him

Can't count the years on one hand that we've been together

I need the other one to hold you Make you feel, make you feel better

It's not a walk in the park to love each other

but when our fingers interlock can't deny, can't deny you're worth it

'Cause after all this time I'm still into you

I should be over all the butterflies but I'm into you, I'm into you

And baby, even on our worst nights I'm into you, I'm into you

Let 'em wonder how we got this far 'cause I don't really need to wonder at all

Yeah after all this time I'm still into you

Recount the night that I first met your mother

And on the drive back to your house I told you that, told you that I loved ya

You felt the weight of the world fall off your shoulders

and to your favorite song we sang along to the start of forever

'Cause after all this time I'm still into you

I should be over all the butterflies but I'm into you, I'm into you

And baby, even on our worst night I'm into you, I'm into you

Let 'em wonder how we got this far 'Cause I don't really need to wonder at all

Yeah after all this time I'm still into you

Some things just make sense and one of those is you and I

Some things just make sense and even after all this time

I'm still into you

Baby, not a day goes by that I'm not into you

I should be over all the butterflies But I'm into to you, I'm into you

And baby, even on our worst nights I'm into you, I'm into you

Let 'em wonder how we got this far 'Cause I don't really need to wonder at all

Pep Guardiola apologises to Gabriel Jesus after Riyad Mahrez penalty miss vs Liverpool - Duration: 4:06.

City's record signing blasted the spot kick over the bar. Mahrez's miss in the 0-0 stalemate means City are still looking for their first Anfield win since 2003

Jesus was preparing to take the 85th-minute penalty until Guardiola told Benjamin Mendy to inform him that summer signing Mahrez would be taking the kick

The City boss said: "Gabriel wanted to take the penalty. I apologised. It was my decision

During the training sessions every day I see Mahrez every day taking the penalties and it gave me a lot of confidence

"It will be good experience for him, next time it will go in. He had the courage to hit the penalty

Mahrez has now missed five of his last eight Premier League penalties but Guardiola admitted during a TV interview that he was not aware of his poor record from the spot

But the Algerian ace insists this latest costly miss won't hurt his confidence. The £60m summer signing said: "It won't affect me at all

Everyone misses penalties, even big, big players. Of course I wanted to score to help the team to win

"I made the decision to shoot in the middle - the ball went up. "Now I have to look forward

It's part of football – sometimes you score, sometimes you miss." Guardiola confirmed Sergio Aguero was the designated penalty taker but he was substituted for Jesus with 24 minutes to go

Kop boss Jurgen Klopp was content with the point but he admitted his side got "lucky" in the end with Mahrez's missed penalty

However, he had no complaints over referee Martin Atkinson awarding the spot-kick after Virgil van Dijk tripped Leroy Sane

He said: "I am really happy with what the boys did today. "The start of the game was fantastic, I liked it, but if you want to win against City you have to use a few of these half-chances, you need to finish

"It was a penalty. It is much easier to say it was a penalty when they didn't score, but I saw it and I don't think there's a lot to discuss with it

"It is not the most important penalty in the history of football because it didn't go in

We were lucky in that situation, but we deserve this bit of luck with the performance

" Van Dijk admitted City had deserved a penalty and expressed relief that Mahrez failed to convert his opportunity

The Dutch defender told Sky Sports: "It was not smart to dive in there - it was a penalty and I said that to the referee afterwards

Obviously I'm very happy that it didn't go in. "I think apart from the penalty moment it was a great game to play in and we were unlucky that we didn't score, but it was a tough game against the champions

"We were up for it and we wanted to bounce back from our defeat against Napoli. They have a good team and we knew it was going to be hard, so we're happy with not losing today

Applying the Gospel of Jesus Christ - Elder Bednar | October 2018 - Duration: 5:06.

Sometimes as members of the church we segment, separate and apply the gospel in

our lives by creating lengthy checklists of individual topics to study and tasks

to accomplish. But such an approach potentially can constrain our

understanding and vision. We must be careful because pharisaical focus upon

checklists can divert us from drawing closer to the Lord. The purpose and

purification, the happiness and joy, and the continuing conversion and protection

that come from yielding our hearts unto God and receiving His image in our

countenances cannot be obtained merely by performing and checking off all the

spiritual things we were supposed to do. Only as we gather together in one, all

things in Christ with firm focus upon him

can gospel truths synergistically enable us to become what God desires us

to become and endure valiantly to the end. The gospel of Jesus Christ is a

magnificent tapestry of truth fitly framed and woven together as we learn

and linked together revealed gospel truth. We are blessed to receive precious

perspective and increased spiritual capacity through eyes that can see the

Lord's influence in our lives and ears that can hear his voice and the

principle of gathering together in one even in him can assist us in changing

the traditional checklists into a unified, integrated, and complete whole.

The fourth article of faith is one of the greatest illustrations of gathering

together in one, all things in Christ. We believe that the first principles and

ordinances of the gospel are first, faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, 2nd

repentance, third baptism by immersion for the remission of sins,

fourth laying on of hands for the gift of the Holy Ghost. True faith is focused

in and on the Lord Jesus Christ in and on him as the divine and only begotten son of

the Father and on him and the redemptive mission he

fulfilled. Exercising faith in Christ is trusting and placing our confidence in

him as our Savior. On his name and in his promises as we exercise faith in and on

the Lord. We naturally turned toward, come unto, and depend upon him thus repentance

is trusting in and relying upon the Redeemer. The ordinance of baptism by

immersion for the remission of sins requires us to trust in him rely upon

him and follow him. Nephi proclaimed, "I know that if he shall

follow the Son with full purpose of heart, acting no hypocrisy and no

deception before God but with real intent, repenting of your sins, witnessing

unto the Father that ye are willing to take upon you the name of Christ by

baptism, yay, by following your Lord and your savior down into the water

according to his word, behold then shall ye receive the Holy Ghost. Yay, then

cometh the baptism of fire and the Holy Ghost."

The ordinance of laying on of hands for the gift of the Holy Ghost requires us

to trust in him, rely upon him, follow him, and press forward in him with the

assistance of His Holy Spirit. All opportunities and blessings of eternal

consequence originate in are possible and have purpose because of and endure

through the Lord Jesus Christ. As Alma testified, there is no other way or means

whereby man can be saved, only in and through Christ. Behold, he is the life and

the light of in our Savior. We find joy and in him we

find the assurance of peace in this world and eternal life in the world to

come. I so testify in the sacred name of the Lord Jesus Christ, amen.

What are you thankful for? Happy Thanksgiving in Canada - Duration: 9:24.

hello friends I'm DragoNate welcome to another DragoNate reading your answers

video it is Thanksgiving here for Canada this weekend I believe it's Monday so my

next question for you this week but I know I'm completely skipping what I

normally do but for this week you guys are going to tell me what you are

thankful for I believe I did this again last year but let's do it again

so what are you guys thankful for let me know leave your answer to the comments

below and I'll read them next week last week I asked you guys what you dislike

most about YouTube or what you dislike about YouTube just in general and you

guys answered so I'll be reading your answers in this video let's get started

with that right away so T ELISA says teaching is actually fun I never really

considered it as public speaking as for YouTube there's really only the preggers

u ads that I find pretty annoying though since I tend to stay away from the

nastier videos on here as well those are the ones that happen to me and I just

like the way the policies of fact creators especially smaller to create

our channels I do agree there are some videos on here that are quite annoying

some some that are pretty pretty horrible but I try to well III stay away

from those things some ads can be really really annoying I've been getting aid

well for a while there I was getting a ton of League of Legends ads and that

kind of stopped for a week and I'm like this is amazing and then this start

coming back again every friggin ad I get is a league of Legends ad and its really

annoying it's like I've skipped the thing a thousand times do you not

realize now I don't care and yes there are some policies that YouTube keeps

enacting and they keep bringing new things out that mostly affect mostly

seem to affect the smaller channels where is it seems or feels like the

bigger channels just get a little slap on the wrist or not even it's more just

like him huh fingers shaking at you and that's it nothing else happens

but regardless and meets who says to be honest this applies to all of Internet

but drama you know what I mean someone does something stupid others we actually

make respond videos the original jerk tries to explain fails and tada you have

a small war going on in every comment section and my feet is filled with it

and me in this situation where am i cute snake videos yeah and I do definitely

know to me I've seen a lot of that there was

i I'm not gonna mention names or anything like that but the there was one

channel who then I was watching for watching a lot a little while ago and

when I first started watching him this guy was like less than ten thousand

subscribers I think and then all of a sudden the guy just like blew up and

last I checked he was at 2 million he's probably above that now and took him

like a couple months but this guy definitely let the fame go to his head

he left the the fame if you could call that go to his head he started being a

jerk to everybody and then and insulting other people for no reason just because

they're talking about a particular issue that's happening on YouTube and and that

that was when there was all this drama stuff going on but yeah let's get away

from that DLT dev says bad thing on YouTube ads wire ads on YouTube all the

reason ads are on YouTube is so that the people making the videos can get paid if

there's no ads they don't get money unless the people who watch their videos

buy their merch or whatever else that they that they have products that they

sell maybe which reminds me check the link in the description and

also up there there's Humble Bundle and shirts and stuff no really though that's

why I ads are there they're there to keep the content free to watch but to

still allow the Creator to actually make money for the amount of time and effort

they put into the videos cuz it's it's not really easy you can't you can't just

make a good video buy in in like 10 minutes or something and just plop it up

on YouTube there's quite a bit more that goes on there's also editing with it you

have to make the thumbnail plus you know description tags all that stuff so it's

it does take definitely a bit of effort and the creator's deserve to get paid

for it or get some kind of conversation forward

I guess mom says I just like the fact that YouTube seems to be so number

driven you have to have X amount of subs or watch time before you get your videos

monetized for example and I agree YouTube seems to have this this

mentality or they seem to profess the sort of mentality that is like oh it's

not about the numbers we don't care about that we want quality not quantity

and stuff like but then they enact these policies that

require number I mean I get that that time watch time especially is like a

really good way to measure whether people watch your videos or not because

you can't just cheat the watch time know though just putting on a playlist and

letting it run all day while you're gone at work or something which would just

not really work but they don't seem to look at things like how long a creator's

been on the platform how often they upload how like they don't look at that

kind of thing they just think oh subs and watch time that's it bye as we're

done it seems lazy at best croco says I

really hate misleading channels other day I found child connected to dragons

expected dragons saying or something was disappointed since it was a streaming

channel well what the heck man that guy's gogo rant at him in the comments

then back to reality I hate YouTube recommendations sometimes

I just click on random video and then BOOM similar videos everywhere but I

like that YouTube is ADD free well for you maybe I do also just like that you

click on one random video and YouTube seems to think oh you loved this one so

much so here we'll toss more your way and it takes a heck of a lot of work to

get rid of all those recommendations or recommendations from in particular you

know channel or something I I've watched one little video this seem kind of

interesting but the person talking the video was just he was quite annoying he

he was saying that he was there's know some kind of scientist or whatever but

then he's using these words that just don't make sense or he's explaining

something that just doesn't make sense to me and he's making things much more

complicated than it needs to be I don't care if he's a scientist

you can calm the heck down alright it was just ridiculous it's like oh my god

buddy seriously it was it was cringy at best

and I don't use that word in front of fluffy says he doesn't know what about

YouTube but thanks a lot well no problem that is okay I don't really know what

what I could say that I dislike about YouTube the most I don't think it's

necessarily one particular thing in general I think it's you know more a

slew of different things of course earlier this year with the

whole D monetization thing and all that kind of stuff blah blah blah it was

really annoying plus or new policies I've been added I think YouTube needs to

just focus on being you know for you as they seem to profess that it is it's all

about you it's all about the viewers it's all about the creators but they

don't seem to make it feel that way you know with it they don't they don't tell

anyone about anything before they do things and then when they do tell people

about things that they're doing it's like what you're wasting your time doing

this thing like that there was one time what one thing a month ago or so where

YouTube mentioned on Twitter hey we're testing out a new feature

we're about what was at 3% or 0.3 percent of your viewers will see a

randomly selected thumbnail from your video instead of the thumbnail you

uploaded and it's like are you serious it was ridiculous so if anyone ever

noticed mmm any my videos not having you know a proper thumbnail or something

like they usually do that was most likely the reason why it seems like a

really stupid idea to me because what what what could possibly be the point

like I understand maybe they want to have their AI whatever algorithm thing

kind of determined hey what's the best thing that best randomized thumbnail we

can get for this video if the Creator doesn't upload one but ever since every

video is different and every videos gonna have a completely different length

and everything that's pointless you're not gonna get that data from just oh

they're throw it out to the entire youtube world it's like good luck with

that one no I think they need to make more intelligent decisions and keep

people in the loop so that people know what the heck is going on and so just

all of a sudden hey this isn't working now or oh god this completely changed

well now what do I do or something or other else but that is it for this video

I'm not going to continue renting on even more let's keep this video to a

in video not a rant video alright so thank you all vivianne so much for

Let's take action to Change The Rules - Duration: 0:31.

The CEO's pay is going up. Again.

And companies are making huge profits.

But they won't even give us a pay rise that keeps up with the cost of living.

Just enough to help me keep my head above water.

Things are really out of balance.

We're all getting ripped off.

Let's stand together.

And get things changed.
