DRAGON BALL Z FREEZER FIGURE RISE MECHANICS REVIEW - Duration: 5:25.
Very good saiyan world, welcome to a new
Monday reviews in which good for
Here in the background you are seeing what
let's talk about today, you are noticing changes
I announced in the trailer all
changes that would so do not
worry, any suggestions, whatever
what you put in comments below
and I will always read them all.
Well, today I would like to tell you about Frieza's ship
the model kit right? some time ago
I climbed the ship saiyan
Vegeta in which are figures and ships in this
mountable occasion, is a line of figures
Figure mmmm ... is that it has a name a little strange.
Rise mechanics okay? It is named
collection in which we both characters
as we mountable ships, ie models that are okay? plastic models
and obviously good because
If you like the subject assembly and have
patience it because some are pieces
chiquititas part of what the ship
You also have to mount the character's
recominedo truth is that because
figures are ... not ... well, that donot what to name
models are not usually see
very often. Well then they have taken
Lots of characters without ships or anything
have brought to Majin Boo, they have brought to
Cell ... they will take C18 and C17 now
and because the truth is, and I say if you like the subject of crafts as
I recommend it enough. Time for me
I bought the ship Saiyan Vegeta and
And now the vehicle that will put Freezer
and moves along Namek.
It is so good I better get to it
and I explain a little bit like it's all about this.
Well guys because here you are seeing
the box of what the figure mountable
okay? Here you are seeing Plastic Model Kit
which it is what I commented that are
but they are like plastic models and this
It would therefore be the result after
mounting a few hours ahead
With this kit right? line figures
You see that figure rise mechanics here
which it is the collection and will therefore I spoke
Toei Animation symbol that is a
official product right? brand
Bandai. Once when we opened we
all removable parts
absolutely everything according to Frieza
mount it and ship.
We also have some stikers
to customize the vehicle Frieza.
Well, I already have mounted because making a video
mounting two hours would be super
super boring right? I'll set aside a
little box and I'll show you what
it is the result. Well here you are
Freezer seeing is removable
It is in position cagar
and basically good first
let's show you a little bit because
Despite being mountable figures
all have pretty good quality
because I thought well then let's see
what it is ... because it is plastic you are
listening is plastic well here
we Frieza with his scooter
and indeed I say is absolutely
all. This on the one hand ... this other
eyes mouth ... ... everything, everything, everything
there is chiquititas pierzas and comes
all it dismantled. Here is the tail
that goes by several sections okay?
Well and on the other hand would
what is the vehicle
Part of here goes well but take a
Support black to make it
hooked and we can put it on
our collection. On the inside
I came the stickers that I am
commenting
there is ... well to make it a little
What's more real
But you're seeing is plastic, ie
Here you are seeing the gears or lace
Where it is mounted piece by piece
and still it is pretty cool.
It is in particular I remember that were
about 25 euros approximately and
Apart from what the ship Saiyan
I taught and this Frieza
There are about 10-15 centimeters figurines
agree? in which is Majin Boo, C17
C18 ... it is Goku Super Saiyan 3 and I remember
which they are also Gohan Super Saiyan
and all are mountable.
it is true that at first I
no, no, no bet on this
collection has always liked
more figures resin
but I think that
It is something different and the truth is that
and you are seeing that quality because no
It is bad and good as I
I think that's all, hope you have
liked the review and see you in the
next video
see you soon.

Movies Hollywood Was Forced To Change For China - Duration: 11:12.
When it comes to global box office, China is projected to overtake the United States
as the biggest market in the world by 2020.
Chinese law, however, only allows 34 Hollywood films to be released on the mainland each
year, meaning there's an intense competition to earn one of those coveted slots.
And since Chinese censors are notoriously strict, outright banning movies they don't
like, Hollywood studios are more than happy to make changes to their films in order to
get a piece of the action.
Here's a look at some movies Hollywood was forced to change for China's sake.
Doctor Strange
Whitewashing is nothing new in Hollywood, but the problem has come to a head in recent
years with a bunch of controversial against-race castings.
In 2016, Marvel Studios came under fire for Doctor Strange, which cast Tilda Swinton in
the role of The Ancient One, who, in the comics, was a Tibetan mystic.
According to the film's co-writer, C. Robert Cargill, that presented Marvel with a major
problem, because the Chinese government refuses to recognize Tibet as an independent country.
He told the Double Toasted podcast, "The Ancient One was a racist stereotype who comes from
a region of the world that is in a very weird political place.
He originates from Tibet.
So if you acknowledge that Tibet is a place and that he's Tibetan, you risk alienating
one billion people [...] and risk the Chinese government going, 'Hey, you know one of the
biggest film-watching countries in the world?
We're not going to show your movie because you decided to get political.'"
Skyfall
2006's Casino Royale made history as, after 20 previous attempts to get him there had
proven unsuccessful, James Bond was finally introduced to China.
And the cost was just a few new lines of dialogue from Dame Judi Dench glossing over that whole
Cold War thing.
"In the old days if an agent did something that embarrassing he'd have the good sense
to defect.
Christ, I miss the Cold War."
However, 2012's Skyfall was subjected to heavy editing at the hands of Chinese censors, who
removed all references to torture tactics used by the Chinese authorities as well as
cutting a scene in which a Chinese security guard is killed during an assassination.
They decided to leave in a scene in which Bond asks a Chinese casino hostess about child
prostitution, though the Chinese subtitles deliberately misquote the secret agent, changing
his question to one about connections to the mafia as opposed to trafficking.
"Tattoo on your wrist is Macau sex trade.
You belong to one of the houses.
What were you, 12?"
Iron Man 3
One of the most shameless attempts at a China cash grab in recent years, Marvel's Iron Man
3 was influenced by Hollywood's newest eastern audience in more ways than one — the first
being the new take on Tony Stark's arch-nemesis.
There was clearly no way the racially insensitive Mandarin would ever be allowed to appear on
the big screen in China in his original comic book form.
So Marvel Studios and Iron Man 3 director Shane Black decided to scrap that version
entirely in favor of an all new, non-Asian, fake Mandarin played by Sir Ben Kingsley.
"Don't hurt the face!
I'm an actor."
"You've got a minute to live.
Fill it with words."
"Just a role.
The Mandarin!
See, it's not real."
But that was just the tip of the iceberg.
The studio also filmed a number of scenes specifically for the Chinese release, cutting
in four extra minutes of footage filled with product placement and a new Chinese mentor
for Tony Stark, Dr. Wu, who performs surgery on Stark and has a conversation with his computerized
assistant, J.A.R.V.I.S., in Mandarin.
The move backfired, however, with Chinese viewers seeing through the product placement
and questioning the logic of Dr. Wu's relevance to the story.
Since, y'know, he had none.
Rogue One: A Star Wars Story
Hollywood movies weren't shown in China at all when the original Star Wars trilogy made
waves domestically, and as a result, George Lucas' space opera just isn't very well known
there.
That fact showed plainly in the meager box office takings for The Force Awakens.
Episode VII's poor reception was clearly a cause for concern at Disney, who made moves
to ensure that 2016's Rogue One: A Star Wars Story didn't suffer the same fate.
Chinese stars Jiang Wen and Donnie Yen were hired in genuine supporting roles in an effort
to drum up interest in the spinoff, and their inclusion created plenty of hype.
Hong Kong-born Yen, China's second biggest action star after Jackie Chan, initially refused
the role of Chirrut over fears that his participation was just a marketing ploy.
However, director Gareth Edwards managed to convince him otherwise.
Yen told the South China Morning Post, "When the director approached me, I began by asking,
quite frankly, if it's a real character, or if he's only casting me based on commercial
considerations for the [Chinese] market.
Once he told me what my character was going to be like, and some of my lines, including
the iconic 'May the Force be with you,' I recognized the importance of my character."
Unfortunately, despite Edwards sticking to his word and even allowing Yen to choreograph
his own action sequences, Chinese audiences still didn't buy it, and the film bombed there.
Jonathan Papish from China Film Insider told TheWrap that "the small number of Donnie Yen
or Jiang Wen fans who turned out to see their faces were completely confused or bored with
the rest of the story."
Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End
Disney responded to reports that Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End, had suffered
quite the cull at the hands of China's censors by admitting that there had been some cuts.
But the Mouse House declined to elaborate further.
The franchise's previous installment, Dead Man's Chest, didn't get a release at all because
of its ghostly elements.
So for the series' third movie, Disney was happy to part ways with a number of scenes
in order to push it through.
Surprisingly, though, the scenes Chinese censors asked to be cut all involved Chow Yun-fat,
one of the most famous action stars in Chinese cinema.
It seems strange that Chinese authorities would insist on scenes featuring one of their
homegrown stars being removed from the film, but they were reportedly very unhappy with
Yun-fat's character Sao Feng.
The pirate lord of the South China Sea appears in traditional Qing dynasty garb with a shiny
bald head and long, dirty fingernails, an image censors in the country found to be an
offensive stereotype.
Most of the scenes setting up the character were deleted, making his sudden appearance
and death very confusing to Chinese audiences.
The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 1
China insists that 14 of the 34 Hollywood films it approves for mainland screening each
year must be presented in either 3D or IMAX, formats that have proven incredibly popular
there after heavy investment in the technology.
Lionsgate used this to their advantage when it came to releasing The Hunger Games: Mockingjay
– Part 1 in China, hoping to improve upon the disappointing returns of previous installment,
Catching Fire.
The first part of the franchise finale was converted to 3D especially for China, and
when it easily bested the previous films at the box office, Part 2 was given the same
treatment.
Converting movies to 3D to make a few extra bucks doesn't always work out, however.
The Bourne movies are very well known for employing an excess of shaky-cam in their
nauseatingly shot action sequences, yet Universal sought to milk fifth installment Jason Bourne
for all it was worth and released a 3D version in China.
According to Quartz, the result was "a line of people throwing up in the restroom of the
cinema," with one film fan begging Hollywood not to do anything that dumb again.
"Please don't offer 3D just to grab money anymore.
Chinese people are not stupid, we can vote with our feet and money."
Pixels
When Sony was subject to a cyber attack from what many suspect were hackers acting on behalf
of the North Korean government, a number of sensitive emails were dumped onto the internet
for all to see.
The leak revealed details of how the Adam Sandler comedy Pixels was changed for China:
a line of dialogue mentioning a "Communist conspiracy" was given the axe, and a scene
in which the country's beloved landmark the Great Wall comes under fire by the film's
arcade-themed alien invaders was cut from the script before filming began.
Li Chow, Sony's chief rep in China, told his stateside executives that "even though breaking
a hole on the Great Wall may not be a problem as long as it is part of a worldwide phenomenon,
it is actually unnecessary because it will not benefit the China release at all.
I would then, recommend not to do it."
Chow's recommendations didn't make a whole lot of difference in the end as the much-maligned
sci-fi comedy only pulled in $15 million there anyway.
Red Dawn
At one stage it looked as though the planned remake of 1984 Cold War cult classic Red Dawn
was going to be shelved when its original studio, MGM, ran into financial difficulties.
Contrafilm took the reins and the film finally got the green light for 2012, though even
after the production wrapped, the problems were far from over.
Chinese news outlets learned that the Soviet army that waged war on small-town America
in the original Red Dawn had been replaced by Chinese invaders.
The result came in the form of headlines, like "US re-shoots Cold War Movie to Demonize
China."
Naturally, the studio's execs panicked about their chances in the Asian market.
A decision was made to change the invading Chinese army to a North Korean one, with five
different special effects companies brought in to restore hopes of scoring big in China.
They were given the unenviable task of removing all references to a country that was essential
to the plot, digitally altering dialogue, and replacing every Chinese flag and symbol.
Dan Mintz from Chinese-based distributor DMG Entertainment said that if Red Dawn had been
released in its original form in China, "there would have been a real backlash.
It's like being invited to a dinner party and insulting the host all night long."
World War Z
Considering that World War Z spent years in development hell, with Paramount completely
rewriting and reshooting the last 40 minutes of the film at a cost of $75 million, you
wouldn't think the studio would have time to worry about trivial things like where the
offending virus originated.
As you've probably guessed by now, though, the zombie outbreak that ultimately consumes
the world in World War Z was supposed to start in China.
Instead, producers changed that to Hollywood's new favorite pariah — North Korea — minimizing
the risk of getting on the wrong side of the Chinese censors.
"Why'd you sell guns to the North?"
"Why not?"
"Are they surviving this?"
"Indeed they are."
In the end their re-shoots and nitpicking paid off in a big way, as Paramount was able
to boast that World War Z ended up becoming Brad Pitt's highest-grossing film to date.
While it failed to recoup its budget domestically, it earned more than $540 million after worldwide
receipts were tallied.

What It's Like to Be Cyberbullied As a Sexual Assault Survivor - Duration: 3:45.
(tense music)
- [Woman] Liar.
Slam piece.
Slut.
Bros before hoes.
Shut up.
We're gonna get you too.
(several women speaking)
- After I was raped I just assumed that I had to have
been someone that just deserved something like that.
- I feel like victim blaming is so prevalent in our society
because people find it so hard to believe that someone
that they love and care about could do something so awful
as assaulting or raping someone.
- People start with questioning the victim.
Rather than telling them that they believe them and that
they support them it always starts with
what they had to do and how they partook in the assault.
- I wish people would have asked me my story.
- It's much easier for them to blame the girl that's saying,
"Hey, this guy did something wrong to me."
- Very common misconception is that
there has to be all these right answers for a survivor.
- Women oftentimes are expected to watch their drinks,
don't set them down.
- All these little underlying things that
people use as exceptions for rape.
- "Watch what you're wearing," "Watch where you go."
And if you don't then it's your fault that you
were assaulted or raped, which isn't true at all.
- The "Jada pose" hashtag that was created
was when the guy who posted the pictures of the assault
on the Internet made a pose mimicking
the stance that I was laying in.
Tagged me in it and it went viral.
- It really kind of bothered me when I heard that
there was a video and that people were talking about it,
because I felt like you don't get a say
in what the world sees of you.
So I felt really alone.
- There were lots of posts about me.
"Why would you lie about this?"
"This is not true," stuff like that.
- And when it's cyber-bullying instead of face-to-face
there's no escaping it.
- Everyone's on the Internet.
Our generation, that's all we do is just
social media, social media, so ...
- Their friends started making comments about it.
Friends of the family started making comments about it.
- Random people that I didn't know who would just
re-tweet it and make it bigger than what it was.
- And I felt like I couldn't go out in public or else
people would be talking about me, and I felt like
I couldn't just be myself anymore.
- They'd pop up on the screen and I'd read them
and I'd spiral into this deep rage
and self-harm and destruction.
- I had to delete all my accounts,
so I couldn't defend myself.
- They were just deciding off the bat who I was
based off of all these rumors.
And so that was a lot of damage to my own self-esteem
because I felt like I wasn't worth getting to know.
Now that more people are coming forward,
more people are noticing that this has been a problem,
and that we can't just keep fighting each other.
We have to come together and work on this.
- At one point, I just realized that anyone that
is saying those things over social media,
it is their issues, not yours.
(hopeful music)
- That's when I decided to make #IAmJada.
- To rise above it and just stay strong to
who you are and know that-
- This is who I am.
- You're OK, and that it is going to be OK.
- I want anyone who has experienced sexual assault
to know that it's not your fault and you're not alone.
- We're here and we believe you and we support you.
- My name is Jada Smith.
- My name is Ella Fairon.
- My name is Daisy Coleman.
And this isn't the end.
(hopeful music)

Dr. James Hansen - Nuclear, Solar, Wind - Duration: 1:16.
The World Health Organization has concluded fossil fuel air pollution
kills over 3.5 million people per year that's 10,000 people per day
10,000 people is more than have been killed by nuclear power
in the history of the planet you know so we have to-
be objective comparing environmental impacts of different energy sources
The people who argue for all renewables think that- Well if we can go from 0% to 10% to
20% renewable then we're on the way and then it will get easier and we'll get 100%.
Well it's actually, if you look at the engineering, it's actually the opposite.
When you to 20 or 30%, then it gets harder!
Not easier! ...because of the intermittency of the renewables.
We have to phase out carbon emissions at a rate of several percent a year.
I don't see any way we can do that without the help of nuclear power.
Nuclear power is essentially carbon-free energy.

Are PEPSI & COKE More Dangerous Than You Think? - Duration: 18:21.
Are PEPSI & COKE More Dangerous Than You Think?
Zero calorie sodas such as Coke Zero and Pepsi Max are slowly but surely becoming the next
generation of diet soft drinks.
Based on their popularity, people are obviously drinking them, but if they dont contain
any calories, then what exactly is it that youre drinking?
As a result of consuming too much processed food thats high in sugar and refined carbohydrates,
the majority of the population is overweight and many of the people who are trying to slim
down by cutting calories are failing miserably.
As such, zero calorie beverages such as Coke Zero and Pepsi Max are not the answer to weight
loss that many people believe them to be, and to make matters worse, the chemical additives
in these beverages can compromise your health.
Most diet sodas, including Diet Coke and Diet Pepsi, have been virtually calorie free for
years.
As such, Coke Zero and Pepsi Max are nothing more than diet sodas with some new ingredients
and a unique marketing spin.
The following are some of the more notable ingredients found in Coke Zero and Pepsi Max
that dont exist in their full calorie Coke and Pepsi counterparts.
Aspartame is an artificial sweetener thats considered by many health experts to be one
of the most dangerous food additives in existence.
Despite a significant amount of controversy, aspartame is frequently associated with cancer,
neurological disorders including Parkinsons disease and Alzheimers disease, and a very
long list of other conditions and unpleasant symptoms.
Much of the controversy surrounding aspartame is fueled by corporate interest.
In the late 1990s, Dr. Ralph Walden showed how significant this influence is by conducting
a peer review of the 165 studies that were available at the time and were related to
the safety of aspartame for humans.
Of these studies, 74 were funded by corporations with financial ties to aspartame and the other
91 were funded by independent sources.
All of the research that had financial ties to aspartame deemed it to be safe while 92%
of the independent research indicated otherwise.
Acesulfame Potassium Acesulfame potassium, often referred to as
Acesulfame K, is another artificial sweetener thats increasing in popularity.
Although more research needs to be done on Acesulfame K, its been shown to promote
cancer and increased insulin production in animals.
Potassium Benzoate
Potassium benzoate is a food preservative thats used to prevent the growth of yeast,
mold, and bacteria.
Its drawn a lot of negative attention due to its potential to form benzene when combined
with vitamin C. Long term exposure to benzene has been found to cause cancer, anemia, suppressed
immunity, irregular menstruation, and infertility.
Trading One Problem for Another
As shown by the following table, the biggest difference between Coke Zero, Diet Coke, Pepsi
Max, and Diet Pepsi is the introduction of the Acesulfame K sweetener and the reduction
of aspartame.
The Max Factor
In addition to being a zero calorie soft drink, Pepsi Max is also marketed for its increased
caffeine content and the addition of ginseng, both of which give it the appeal of an energy
drink.
In comparison to the 38 mg of caffeine in regular Pepsi, theres 69 mg of caffeine
in Pepsi Max.
The inclusion of ginseng, which is anatural herbal supplement used to promote better mental
and physical function, even gives Pepsi Max a bit of a misleading health appeal.
Neither caffeine nor ginseng will ever provide you with the long lasting and balanced sense
of energy that can only result from optimal health.
Furthermore, frequently relying on caffeine for energy will likely worsen the underlying
problem thats causing you to be tired and eventually lead to adrenal fatigue and poorer
health.
Another suspect ingredient in Pepsi Max is calcium disodium EDTA which is commonly used
by health professionals to help remove excess metals such as mercury, lead, and iron from
the body.
What does this have to do with soda you may ask?
According to Pepsi, it helps to protect flavor. The real reason why its in Pepsi
Max is to reduce the risk of benzene forming from the potassium benzoate preservative.
How nice of Pepsi to look out for us like that.
A Better Perspective on Weight Loss
Clearly, the most obvious reason to drink zero calorie beverages such as Coke Zero and
Pepsi Max is to reduce calorie intake, and in turn, lose weight.
Ironically, although this is a controversial topic with research supporting both sides,
its been shown in at least one study that people who rely on artificially sweetened
beverages are more likely to gain weight.
In association with this, aspartame in particular has been shown to increase appetite and calorie
consumption.
Losing weight is no different from increasing your energy in the regard that its most
effectively done through a healthy lifestyle.
Too many people prioritize their appearance over their health, and as a result, fail to
understand that pursuing better health and following a healthy diet will naturally lead
to weight loss.
No type of soda, regardless of how many or how few calories it has, is ever a good choice.
However, by following healthy habits on a regular basis, youll be able to enjoy soda
in moderation without much impact to your health or weight, and when you do, you might
as well enjoy the real thing.
Kids are heavy consumers of soft drinks, according to the U.S. Department of Agriculture, and
they are guzzling soda pop at unprecedented rates.
Carbonated soda pop provides more added sugar in a typical 2-year-old toddlers diet than
cookies, candies and ice cream combined.
Fifty-six percent of 8-year-olds down soft drinks daily, and a third of teenage boys
drink at least three cans of soda pop per day.
These popular beverages account for more than a quarter of all drinks consumed in the United
States.
More than 15 billion gallons were sold in 2000.
That works out to at least one 12-ounce can per day for every man, woman and child.
Not only are soft drinks widely available everywhere, from fast food restaurants to
video stores, theyre now sold in 60 percent of all public and private middle schools and
high schools nationwide, according to the National Soft Drink Association.
A few schools are even giving away soft drinks to students who buy school lunches.
As soda pop becomes the beverage of choice among the nations young and as soda
marketers focus on brand-building among younger and younger consumers public health officials,
school boards, parents, consumer groups and even the soft drink industry are faced with
nagging questions:
How healthful are these beverages, which provide a lot calories, sugars and caffeine but no
significant nutritional value?
And what happens if you drink a lot of them at a very young age?
Recently, representatives of the soft drink industry, concerned that public opinion and
public policy may turn against them, will staged a three-day fly-in to lobby Congress
to maintain soft drinks sales in schools; and to educate lawmakers on the proper
perspective on soft drink use.
The industry plans to counter a US Department of Agriculture proposal, announced in January,
that would require all foods sold in schools to meet federal nutrition standards.
That would mean that snack foods and soft drinks would have to meet the same standards
as school lunches.
Nearly everyone by now has heard the litany on the presumed health effects of soft drinks:
Obesity Tooth decay
Caffeine dependence Weakened bones
But does drinking soda pop really cause those things?
To help separate fact from fiction, the Health section reviewed the latest scientific findings
and asked an array of experts on both sides of the debate to weigh in on the topic.
Be forewarned, however: Compared with the data available on tobacco and even dietary
fat, the scientific evidence on soft drinks is less developed.
The results can be a lot like soft drinks themselves, both sweet and sticky.
Obesity
One very recent, independent, peer-reviewed study demonstrates a strong link between soda
consumption and childhood obesity.
One previous industry-supported, unpublished study showed no link.
Explanations of the mechanism by which soda may lead to obesity have not yet been proved,
though the evidence for them is strong.
Many people have long assumed that soda high in calories and sugar, low in nutrients can
make kids fat.
But until this month there was no solid, scientific evidence demonstrating this.
Reporting in The Lancet, a British medical journal, a team of Harvard researchers presented
the first evidence linking soft drink consumption to childhood obesity.
They found that 12-year-olds who drank soft drinks regularly were more likely to be overweight
than those who didnt.
For each additional daily serving of sugar-sweetened soft drink consumed during the nearly two-year
study, the risk of obesity increased 1.6 times.
Obesity experts called the Harvard findings important and praised the study for being
prospective.
In other words, the Harvard researchers spent 19 months following the children, rather than
capturing a snapshot of data from just one day.
Its considered statistically more valuable to conduct a study over a long period of time.
Researchers found that schoolchildren who drank soft drinks consumed almost 200 more
calories per day than their counterparts who didnt down soft drinks.
That finding helps support the notion that we dont compensate well for calories in
liquid form.
Are PEPSI & COKE More Dangerous Than You Think?
Tooth Decay
Heres one health effect that even the soft drink industry admits, grudgingly, has merit.
In a carefully worded statement, the NSDA says that theres no scientific evidence
that consumption of sugars per se has any negative effect other than dental caries.
But the association also correctly notes that soft drinks arent the sole cause of tooth
decay.
In fact, a lot of sugary foods, from fruit juices to candy and even raisins and other
dried fruit, have what dentists refer to as cariogenic properties, which is to say
they can cause tooth decay.
Okay, so how many more cavities are soft drink consumers likely to get compared with people
who dont drink soda?
This is where it gets complicated.
A federally funded study of nearly 3,200 Americans 9 to 29 years old conducted between 1971 and
1974 showed a direct link between tooth decay and soft drinks.
Numerous other studies have shown the same link throughout the world, from Sweden to
Iraq.
Caffeine Dependence
The stimulant properties and dependence potential of caffeine in soda are well documented, as
are their effects on children.
Ever tried going without your usual cup of java on the weekend?
If so, you may have experienced a splitting headache, a slight rise in blood pressure,
irritability and maybe even some stomach problems.
These well-documented symptoms describe the typical withdrawal process suffered by about
half of regular caffeine consumers who go without their usual dose.
The soft drink industry agrees that caffeine causes the same effects in children as adults,
but officials also note that there is wide variation in how people respond to caffeine.
The simple solution, the industry says, is to choose a soda pop that is caffeine-free.
All big soda makers offer products with either low or no caffeine.
Okay, so most enlightened consumers already know that colas contain a fair amount of caffeine.
It turns out to be 35 to 38 milligrams per 12-ounce can, or roughly 28 percent of the
amount found in an 8-ounce cup of coffee.
But few know that diet colas usually chosen by those who are trying to dodge calories
and/or sugar often pack a lot more caffeine.
A 12-ounce can of Diet Coke, for example, has about 42 milligrams of caffeine seven
more than the same amount of Coke Classic.
A can of Pepsi One has about 56 milligrams of caffeine 18 milligrams more than both
regular Pepsi and Diet Pepsi.
Bone Weakening
Animal studies demonstrate that phosphorus, a common ingredient in soda, can deplete bones
of calcium.
And two recent human studies suggest that girls who drink more soda are more prone to
broken bones.
The industry denies that soda plays a role in bone weakening.
Animal studies mostly involving rats point to clear and consistent bone loss with the
use of cola beverages.
But as scientists like to point out, humans and rats are not exactly the same.
Even so, theres been concern among the research community, public health officials
and government agencies over the high phosphorus content in the US diet.
Phosphorus which occurs naturally in some foods and is used as an additive in many others
appears to weaken bones by promoting the loss of calcium.
With less calcium available, the bones become more porous and prone to fracture.
The soft drink industry argues that the phosphoric acid in soda pop contributes only about 2
percent of the phosphorus in the typical US diet, with a 12-ounce can of soda pop averaging
about 30 milligrams.
Theres growing concern that even a few cans of soda today can be damaging when they
are consumed during the peak bone-building years of childhood and adolescence.
A 1996 study published in the Journal of Nutrition by the FDAs Office of Special Nutritionals
noted that a pattern of high phosphorus/low calcium consumption, common in the American
diet, is not conducive to optimizing peak bone mass in young women.
A 1994 Harvard study of bone fractures in teenage athletes found a strong association
between cola beverage consumption and bone fractures in 14-year-old girls.
The girls who drank cola were about five times more likely to suffer bone fractures than
girls who didnt consume soda pop.
Besides, to many researchers, the combination of rising obesity and bone weakening has the
potential to synergistically undermine future health.
Adolescents and kids dont think long-term.
But what happens when these soft-drinking people become young or middle-aged adults
and they have osteoporosis, sedentary living and obesity?
By that time, switching to water, milk or fruit juice may be too little, too late.

Aspartame

TAS Market Profile Boxes Plywood Formation - Duration: 7:26.
TAS plywood formations we are now going
into a really exciting additional
strategy this formation of the task
boxes can give you the ability to
predict areas of higher support and
resistance move your stops more
aggressively and determine areas where
you can gain an advantage it is the
plywood formation we call it a plywood
formation because the multiple layers of
task boxes are close together indicating
a solid barrier of support and
resistance for the market a plywood
formation is when the blue point of
control line is near either the red
high-value area or green low value area
these two lines being closer together
indicate an even stronger area of
support and resistance than if they were
by themselves for a plywood formation
you want to see the blue point of
control line as close as possible to
either the high-value area or low value
area lines and by as close as possible I
mean as a percentage of the height of
the box when the point of control line
is near the high-value area or low value
area you can consider it to be applied
with formation and know that this area
will represent greater support and
resistance for the market the closer the
point of control line is to either the
high-value area or lova your area the
clearer the signal for our plywood
formation is you can identify a plywood
formation as soon as a box is formed it
does not matter if it is a narrow box or
a wide box as long as the point of
control line is near either the
high-value area or low value area here
you can see that the point of control
line is very close to the low value area
line this is a clear indication of a
plywood formation
you can consider this area to be an
indication of greater support and
resistance for the market to bounce off
of similarly here when the point of
control line is actually underneath the
green low value area line this is also a
plywood formation indicating an area of
greater support and resistance for the
market there are multiple ways to use
the plywood formation as you are reading
charts and entering trades the whole
focus on using a plywood formation is
the fact that it offers greater support
and resistance to the market a small
improvement to your trading like this
can not only increase the odds of
success for a particular trade but
increase your confidence when placing
the trade combine this with an entry or
exit strategy that we have gone over to
achieve better trade performance I know
this opportunity does not come up with
every trade but you need to be prepared
for when it happens there is another
hidden bonus to this level of greater
support and resistance for the market
the ability to more aggressively move
your stops I still think that the best
way to trade is by trailing your stops
along the opposite value area like we
discussed earlier but this is another
option for more aggressive traders it
takes into account the greater levels of
support and resistant and move stops
accordingly here we're coming from an
area of very high volatility where the
market is closing and opening within the
value area but for this box we get a
plywood formation as soon as it was
formed and the market breaks and closes
below it indicating a short positional
bias now we would have more confidence
that this level of support and
resistance would hold so putting our
stop outside of any previous lows
outside of the blue point of control
would be an appropriate option for this
trade where the market did bounce
repeatedly off of this level and then
off of the previous high here the market
was closing below the green low value
area indicating a short bias and the
market actually retraced and bounced off
of the red high value area but
considering that the point of control
was quite near the red high value area
we could consider this a plywood
formation giving us extra confidence if
we want to enter in on a retracement
trade similarly whenever when this red
high value area appeared near this green
blue point of control we would know that
this would be an area of greater
resistance for the market on this trade
again we could have used the plywood
formation when the blue point of control
was near the green low value area to
enter in on a possible retracement trade
when the market pulled back and bounced
off and came to within the bottom twenty
percent of this box we could have
considered a retracement trade entry
backed up by the fact that we saw the
plywood formation forming which would
provide greater support for this market
and when the market managed to break
above this very close red high value
area and blue point of control here we
would have more confidence that the
market would not break below this level
of support and resistance
plywood formations are great asset to
task traders they give you increased
probability for your trades which is
what we're all looking for not every
trade as a winner but we want to stack
the odds in our favor the increased
level of support and resistance should
never be ignored when it is either
acting as a barrier for your trade to
break through or as a stop loss
reference as always one of the most
important parts of all of this is how
you apply it you have to get your own
charting platform and start looking for
plywood formations and watch the
market's reaction to them remember this
was Bruce banks saying enjoy trading

From underwear models to a Hooters waitress, these stars prove that it's never too late
to change paths.
Chip and Joanna Gaines
Ahh, Chip and Joanna Gaines — the reality couple that helps us believe in love again.
Judging from their on screen fun and playfulness, it's easy to imagine them happy together whether
they were rich or poor — and they've done both.
They weren't always moguls running a hit show, magazine, shop, and bakery.
Before the HGTV fame they found with their reality design show Fixer Upper, Chip and
Joanna were actually broke.
Joanna told People, "I remember when we first got married, the only money we had was what
was in Chip's pocket.
He always had a wad of cash, but we were broke.
If I needed to go grocery shopping it's whatever was in his pocket.
That's how we paid the bills."
Chip began flipping houses when the couple got married, but that business didn't pay
the bills in the beginning.
Chip Gaines revealed that during their first two years of marriage, Joanna's father kept
asking him when he was going to get a "real job."
In the end, he stuck with it, and look how that worked out.
Nicole Curtis
Another HGTV rags to riches story comes by way of Nicole Curtis.
Curtis calls the shots in her show Rehab Addict, but she wasn't always the confident boss lady
she is today.
In college she couldn't decide on a career path.
She actually attended school in three different states: Georgia, Florida, and Michigan.
She also changed her major from pre-law to education.
Rehabbing houses was never the plan.
After college, Curtis paid the bills by waitressing at restaurants like IHOP and Hooters.
She also started cleaning houses before and after her restaurant shifts after she became
a single mom to her son Ethan.
The only reason that Curtis started rehabbing houses was sheer necessity.
As she told Arizona Central, "I got interested in rehabbing because I was poor.
Nothing motivates you to learn how to do something like not having the money to pay to have it
done."
Once Curtis started getting into restoring old houses, she earned her real estate license
just around the time that the network was looking for a blonde host for their new show.
As she remembered in a chat with Minnesota Monthly, "Coincidentally, there was this really
horrific Glamour Shots photo of me on my website, and when a production assistant at Magnetic
Productions was scanning for blonde real-estate agents for the show, they saw it."
And the rest was small screen history!
Jonathan and Drew Scott
After watching just one episode of Property Brothers, it's clear that Jonathan and Drew
Scott are HGTV gold.
Two handsome and funny brothers battle it out amid gorgeous homes and incredible transformations.
And it seems like they were always destined for HGTV greatness.
The two have a history in both real estate and performing so they were made for this.
Both Scott brothers had their hearts set on acting since they were young.
They both had roles on the Canadian series Breaker High; and Jonathan even had a small
role on The X-Files.
They even tried their hands at underwear modeling and worked as professional clowns in a former
lifetime.
Their real estate career began when they were only teenagers after watching a late night
infomercial.
Jonathan told Forbes, "Drew and I were coming out of high school and we didn't want to be
starving actors so we saw this infomercial on how to make millions of dollars with no
money down by Carlton Sheets.
At 18 with $250 down we bought a $200,000 home right across from the University and
after a little work sold it a year later for a $50,000 profit and that's when the light
bulb went on."
With that combination of acting and real estate experience, it was only a matter of time until
a network snatched them up.
And now they're the hottest twins on TV today, thanks in no small part to their excellent
impersonation skills.
"Hey, yo, Adrian!
Yo, Adrian, I love you!"
"Adrian!"
Genevieve Gorder
From Design Star to the award-winning series HGTV White House Christmas, Genevieve Gorder
has secured her place as HGTV royalty.
So, it might be surprising to learn that HGTV was actually the third network she worked
for.
Originally from Minneapolis, Gorder moved out to Oregon to attend Lewis & Clark College
after high school.
After falling in love with her graphic design class, she scored an internship with MTV in
NYC.
She then transferred to the School of Visual Arts in Manhattan and graduated with her bachelors
in fine arts.
That MTV internship turned into a full-time job, and Gorder ended up starring in the series
Sex in the '90s.
Years later, Gorder was cast as one of the star designers on TLC's Trading Spaces.
But she found her forever home, it seems, on HGTV.
Carter Oosterhouse
There's a reason why HGTV star Carter Oosterhouse looks more like a model than carpenter — he
was one!
Oosterhouse was the youngest of four kids raised in Michigan.
As a kid he loved all sports, and actually received a full ride scholarship to Central
Michigan University for rugby.
There, he studied nutrition and communication before moving to Los Angeles to pursue his
modeling and acting career.
But building and real estate was always in his blood.
He told HGTV, "The town that I grew up in, which is Traverse City, Michigan, is a big
tourist town.
So a lot of people are always remodeling and building.
For me it was just a summertime job, just to make some money."
It wasn't long before he discovered his carpentry talent — and it seems to run in the family.
Both of Oosterhouse's brothers are carpenters, and his sister is an interior designer.
Tarek and Christina El Moussa
The sad news of Tarek and Christina El Moussa's split hasn't slowed these two down.
They're continuing to work on their hit show Flip or Flop — which they had never planned
to do in the first place.
"Who's flip and who's flop?"
"I'm flip."
"Are you wearing a shmedium?
A belly shirt?
"She's flop 'cause she loses all the money."
The El Moussas were Orange County real estate agents before their HGTV fame.
When the housing bubble burst, the couple needed to find a new way to make money.
They moved out of their $6,000-per-month mortgage home and found a roommate to share a $700-per-month
apartment.
They sold their cars and actually split Subway sandwiches for dinner.
They began buying rundown properties and fixing them up themselves.
They started flipping houses and reached out to HGTV on a long-shot, and, Tarek told Country
Living, "A year-and-a-half later, HGTV picked us up for a pilot.
Midway through season one, the show was almost cancelled because someone high up at HGTV
thought it would fail.
It didn't."
These stars only go to show that sometimes opportunity knocks on the door, but when it
doesn't, maybe it's time to bring out the sledgehammer and clear your own path.
"I have something I have to tell you about your future!"
