A Song of Ice and Fire: First Dornish War - Duration: 6:22.
Throughout the years of Aegon's conquest of Westeros, six of the seven kingdoms submitted
to his rule, with the Aegonfort settled upon the coast of blackwater bay, which soon became
the capital of King's Landing.
However his campaign of conquest proved incomplete as he was unable to capture Dorne, sending
his sister-wife Rhaenys atop her dragon Meraxes, only to find their castles and towns abandoned
or else populated with only women and children.
When she arrived at sunspear, it too was abandoned, save for Meria Martell, the elderly Princess
of Dorne who remained behind to warn Rhaenys that Dorne would never submit, saying,
"You may us, my lady, but you will not bend us, break us, or make us bow.
This is Dorne.
You are not wanted here.
Return at your peril."
Following this confrontation, Dorne was left in peace for a time, until the rest of their
campaign was completed and Aegon crowned as King of Westeros.
House Targaryen then set out to finish what they started, and in 4AC launched the first
Dornish War.
Flying south atop Meraxes, Queen Rhaenys again journeyed to Dorne, capturing castles and
burning Planky Town before arriving in Sunspear to capture the seat of House Martell, only
to find that Princess Meria was not present.
Meanwhile King Aegon and Lord Harlan Tyrell battled their way through the Prince's Path,
afterwhich Harlan led his forces to Hellholt, suffering many casualties along the way due
to the harsh desert climate, and finding the fortress abandoned upon his arrival.
King Aegon went on his own mission to capture Yronwood, but he too found the castle largely
abandoned, populated only by women, old men and young boys.
Moving on, Skyreach also proved deserted, yet Aegon at last encountered resistance at
Ghost Hill, where he defeated a champion of House Toland in single combat, only to then
discover he had actually fought a mad fool and that the rest of the castle was abandoned
like the others.
In the Boneway, Lord Wyl of Wyl attacked and defeated Lord Orys Baratheon and his host,
capturing a number of noblemen who were imprisoned for several years.
With Sunspear and many other castles, towns and fortresses captured, House Targaryen declared
victory, leaving the lord of House Rosby as Castellan of the dornish capital, while Lord
Harlan Tyrell remained behind with an army charged with quelling any rebellions that
might arise.
Yet once the Targaryens had withdrawn from the territory, the Dornish immediately began
their counter offensive, with Meria Martell re-emerging in Sunspear, leading her people
to take back her seat of power, capturing Lord Rosby and tossing him from the top of
the spear tower.
When Lord Harlan heard of this revolt, he gathered his army and departed Hellholt in
5AC, only for his forces to vanish in the Dornish desert, never heard from again.
Throughout the territory Dornish nobility and common folk rebelled against their would-be
conquerors, slaughtering the garrisons and overseers put in place by House Targaryen.
In 7 AC, Lord Wyl of Wyl ransomed the prisoners he captured during the battle of the boneway,
but decided to cut off their sword hands first, so they might never again raise a weapon against
Dorne.
Lord Orys Baratheon was profoundly affected by the loss of his hand, becoming bitter and
wrathful, desiring nothing more than to seek vengeance for this dishonour.
Having quickly lost all that they had gained in dorne, King Aegon mounted his dragon Belarion
the Black Dread, and flew south, burning a great number of castles in retaliation.
Yet rather than instilling fear, this only proved to escalate the conflict further, as
the Dornish marched north in 8AC, sacking a number of towns and villages as well as
burning the rainwood forest.
The following year, the Targaryen again unleashed dragonfire upon the Dornish, while House Fowler
led an army against Nightsong and House Dayne marched against Old Town.
Yet again the dragonlords went across dorne, burning Starfall, skyreach and Hellholt, however
as Queen Rhaenyra and Meraxes unleashed their fury against the seat of house uller, they
encountered unexpected resistance, as the Dornish used a scorpion to shoot them down,
presumably killing both the dragon and it's rider.
Enraged by the loss of his sister-wife, Aegon and Belarion went on a rampage, burning every
Dornish stronghold they could find, save for Sunspear which was left untouched.
Some say this was because the Martells possessed special weapons that might take down Aegon's
dragon, while others say it was a strategy, as the Targaryens were hoping to turn the
rest of the population against Sunspear by spreading a rumor that they had made a separate
peace with the throne.
Yet the Dornish remained loyal to House Martell, and the war continued, with both factions
placing large bounties upon the other side, resulting a great number of assassinations.
After a third failed attempt on the life of King Aegon, Queen Visenya formed the Kingsguard
in 10 AC, modelling their vows after those of the night's watch, preventing them from
holding lands, titles or being wed.
The war then continued on for 3 more years until the death of the elderly Princess Meria
Martell, succeeded by her son Prince Nymor who then sent a mysterious letter to Aegon
in King's Landing.
Although the contents of the letter remain unknown, some have theorized that it revealed
queen Rhaenys was still alive, having been captured and kept as a prisoner under torture.
The letter may then have offered to end her suffering in exchange for a cessation of hostilities.
In anycase Aegon burned the letter after reading it, and the next morning accepted defeat,
ordering the withdrawl of his troops from Dorne.
Despite the hostilities between their people, this peace lasted for the rest of Aegon's
reign, and the king even remained on good terms with Prince Nymor's daughter Deria
Martell, visiting sunspear in 23AC alongside his eldest son Aenys, for what was called
a feast of friendship.

Hello and welcome back to engVid. In today's lesson we are going to be looking at eight
words used for measuring space, and looking at how we use these words in a human story.
So this lesson is appropriate for beginners and intermediates looking to use language
in a more accurate and varied manner. So, today's situation, we are pretending that
I have a girlfriend in San Francisco.
First word: "long". Length, so there are different ways in which I can use this word: "long".
Firstly: "length". Someone might ask me: "Benjamin, what has been the length of your relationship?"
I.e.: How long have I been going out with the girl for? Well, the answer, a couple of
months, two months maybe. "At length", we use this word when you hear something after
a long time. "At length, I received an email from my girlfriend". "Lengths", most commonly
this word is used to measure how many times you go up and down in a swimming pool. "How
many lengths would I have to swim to get to San Francisco from London?" The answer is:
Quite a lot. "Lengthened", you could use this phrase with time, but it means anything that's
getting longer. "Time lengthened between the time that I saw her last." Time got longer.
"It was a long-distance relationship." That means we're on the telephone sending messages-okay?-we're
in two different places, trying to get along.
Opposite of "long": "short", and three words that we can use with "short". "I wanted to
shorten the distance between us." I wanted to shorten the distance. A "shortcut", we
use this word in electronics. So I won't try to explain to you how this works, but a shortcut
means that if you are going... You have to do a lap... Pretend we're doing athletics,
not electronics. If I do a shortcut, my start's here and my finish is there, maybe I do a
slightly shorter lap, so I'm shortening the distance I travel. "Shortly". "Shortly" is
pretty much the opposite of "at length", it means in a short time. So: "Shortly I will
go and have a cup of coffee."
Okay, we ready for the next ones? Good stuff, keep that concentration going. "Wide", two
words here. "Width": "The width of my trousers I believe is 32 inches", something like that.
"Widening": "My waist is widening with each croissant that I eat." My girlfriend in San
Francisco might not like it. Okay? "Width", widening, getting bigger. Okay.
"Broad". "Broad" means sort of bulky. If you're broad shoulders it means that you're out here,
so a sense of getting bigger. If I broaden my horizons, it means I learn more about the
world. "A broad-minded person", so: "I think the people in San Francisco are broad-minded."
They care about the environment and they are good people, they want to learn more.
"High". Well, you could listen to a Bob Marley song, but alternatively, stay tuned with me.
"To be on a high" means that you are feeling really good, you're riding a positive wave
of emotion. So these two words: "high" and "low" often used to talk about emotion. "High",
sort of positive ones; "low", feeling down in the dumps; down, high. "Height": "My girlfriend's
height is 6 foot 1." Okay? The height of something. Or you could use it to measure something more
abstract, like passion: "The height of our passion". "Highly", this is a synonym of "very".
"The highly sought-after professor. The highly sought-after", it means everyone wanted to
hear from the professor.
"Low", so let's look at the story, I've got this girlfriend, dah-dah-dah-dah, writing
these long-distance messages. I want to shorten the distance between us. I'm getting a little
bit fatter. I think things are really good over there. So, I'm on a bit of a high because
I go out over to San Francisco and I see her, and then she dumps me. This is your cue to
maybe check out my other video on how to get dumped, words on how to get dumped, because
after that moment I felt quite low, and then I felt even "lower"-lower, lower, lower-even
worse because I realized I had another two weeks in San Francisco and there wasn't very
much to do. I wanted to be "far away", okay? I wanted to be a big, long distance away from
that place that I had gone to. And then we have another word sort of connected to "low":
"depth". Think again of the swimming pool. Instead of the lengths, we're talking about
the depth of the swimming pool. "The depth of my depression was pretty bad."

Alright guys!I am home from Kohl's.
So I just wanted to show you what I got.
So I think I'm going to do it fashion show style.
Why not right?
So hang on I'll go get an outfit on.
So I got this tank top.
I really like it.
It is very soft and just kind of big and floppy, comfy, cozy.
I like it, you like it?
I like it.
Alright, so this is the same tank top as the grey one it's just in maroon.
And then I got these grey shorts.
I thought they were really cute, they are a little stretchy.
So they are good for the summer and yeah, I really liked it.
I thought this shirt was really pretty.
With just the little flowers on it,
well I guess it's kind of a big pattern, but I like the big pattern.
I think it's really cute it looks good with the grey shorts too.
But it will look good with jean shorts.
I just need to get one of those, well I have those,
put one of those bra strap holder things on my back.
But yeah, I have those so we're good there.
But very cute!
So this is actually probably the most surprising purchase that I did today.
I have never had a romper before.
I think they are really cute on other people.
But I have never gotten one for myself
and I tried this one on and I actually really liked it.
See it has like the lacy back super cute.
And it's actually easy to take off for when you go to the bathroom because everybody knows
you're like full on have to take off everything.
I did really like that blue one, but it had like a button up on the back of your neck
that I have no idea how anybody could get to without, you know, like taking a buddy
to the bathroom.
So it was really cute I think it laid out really nicely, but if you can't get out of
it by yourself, it is not OK to get that romper.
So yeah.
So this was my last thing that I got.
Pretty fun.
So alright, that was my Kohl's cash that I got to spend just on mom.
I'm so excited to put these pieces into my wardrobe
and mix and match them and all that good stuff.

John Brennan Being Dragged In Front Of A Grand Jury – Obama Panicking!
Veteran D.C. attorney Joe diGenova is someone that President Donald Trump trusts.
DiGenova was President Trump's initial pick to represent him in the Mueller probe, however,
diGenova was forced to step aside due to conflicts.
Still a part of the inner circle of the Trump administration, diGenova gave a clear and
concise picture of what is currently happening with the high-stakes gamble taken by various
members within the Obama Intelligence Community (IC) and others to infiltrate the Trump campaign
and frame Donald Trump with Russiagate in an effort to overthrow a duly elected president
in favor of their candidate of choice.
Key among the participants in this Machiavellian plot is former CIA director John Brennan.
Brennan's involvement is thought to have dovetailed with the FBI's recently disclosed
"Operation Crossfire Hurricane."
The name "Operation Crossfire Hurricane" was the code name given to the CIA's earliest
counterintelligence investigation into the Trump campaign.
The FBI claims the entire operation was launched based on the drunken ramblings of a low-level
Trump associate, George Papadopoulos to a Clinton-linked Australian ambassador.
It has been speculated that Papadopoulos may have been set up from the very beginning after
being fed information by a professor named Joseph Mifsud.
Interestingly enough, Mifsud is now currently listed as a missing person.
DiGenova appeared on Fox News and sat down with Tucker Carlson to discuss the recent
developments with the former federal prosecutor and former special counsel.
We know that Hillary Clinton was illegally exonerated.
We know that there was a significant and concerted effort to frame the current and sitting President
of the United States with crimes by infiltrating his campaign, as well as his administration
with moles and spies by the FBI.
We have learned that the crimes were deliberately committed by the FBI, senior members of the
Department of Justice, John Brennan, John Clapper, James Comey, and several others associated
with the Democratic Party
Neither Donald Trump nor his associates have committed any crimes.
DiGenova explains that the FBI willfully, deliberately, and purposely sent people into
the Trump campaign in an effort to plant false information, then forced that information
to be forwarded back to the CIA, funneled to the FBI, then used this false information
in FISA applications.
DiGenova stated – "Everybody involved in that process who knowingly participated
committed a crime."
DiGenova then has a very frank conversation with Tucker and offers Brennan from free legal
advice regarding his current circumstances –
Tucker: So why aren't they being held to account?
diGenova: As of today, I understand that a referral for criminal prosecution has been
made by Mr. Horowitz to Mr. Huber, who is investigating the FISA leaks, the unmasking,
the leaks of the unmasking and everything we described tonight.
Criminal referrals have already been made, and I suggest that Mr. Brennan – who loves
to make comments about the process, get himself a good lawyer.
Not a good writer.
Tucker: Wait, John Brennan the NBC news paid consultant?
diGenova: Yes, NBC News' consultant, the former Director of the Central Intelligence
Agency, the most partisan hack leader of the CIA in history, needs a very very good lawyer.
Tucker: Criminal lawyer?
diGenova: Yes, criminal lawyer – oh yes, he doesn't need a slip-and-fall lawyer,
although he's going to slip and fall.
He's going to be in front of a grand jury shortly.
Tucker: That's news.
diGenova: Yes, and that's good news.
Then just a few days prior diGenova dropped a bombshell during an interview with Laura
Ingraham claiming Brennan was behind the entire set up against President Trump, calling this
entire "set-up" a "soft coup:"
Joe DiGenova: It was abundantly clear that there was no legitimate basis even for a counterintelligence
investigation, let alone a criminal investigation.
It is quite obvious that John Brennan was at the head of the group of people who were
going to create a counterintelligence investigation against Trump by creating false information
that was going to be fed through Carter Page and fed through George Papadopoulos so that
it would be picked up, reported back to Washington and provide the basis for a counter, a fake,
counterintelligence investigation and it was all Brennan's doing.
And that is why counterintelligence is viciously fighting, revealing everything they can about
the source in London who everybody knows the identity of.
Laura Ingraham: Explain the source in London.
Joe DiGenova: The source in London was another person who was feeding false information to
George Papadopoulos and others about collusion which did not exist.
Brennan, along with FBI Special Agent Peter Strzok and former Secretary of State John
Kerry were recently accused of setting "Russian espionage traps for minor players in the Trump
campaign," according to journalist Paul Sperry.
It is clear that Brennan likely committed perjury during his Congressional testimony
regarding the notorious Steele dossier and he is now being actively investigated by House
Intelligence Committee Chairman, Devin Nunes.
Then there was this particular lie Brennan told while being grilled by Trey Gowdy.
Gowdy asks a rather pointed question of Brennan as he is known for doing, stating – "Did
you have evidence of a connection between the Trump campaign and Russian state actors?"
Brennan replied: "As I said, Mr. Gowdy, I don't do evidence."
Then Brennan was asked by Adam Schiff about the Flynn investigation and replied that President
Trump never pressured anyone to have the Flynn investigation dropped.
Adam Schiff: "With respect to the allegations made recently that the President or his aides
may have sought to enlist the member of the IC or Director Comey himself to drop the Flynn
investigation, uh have any members of the IC shared with you their concerns that the
President was attempting to enlist the help of the people in the intelligence community
to drop the Flynn investigation?"
Brennan: "No, sir."
Adam Schiff: "Are you aware of any efforts the President has made who enlist the support
of the intelligence community personnel to push back on a narrative involving the collusion
issue that Mr. Rooney was asking about?"
Brennan: "I am unaware of it."
Sperry wrote in February 2018 for RealClear Investigations stating of Brennan's Congressional
testimony:
"In his May 2017 testimony before the intelligence panel, Brennan emphatically denied the dossier
factored into the intelligence community's publicly released conclusion last year that
Russia meddled in the 2016 election "to help Trump's chances of victory."
Brennan also swore that he did not know who commissioned the anti-Trump research document
(excerpt here), even though senior national security and counterintelligence officials
at the Justice Department and FBI knew the previous year that the dossier was funded
by the Hillary Clinton campaign."
Except, Brennan was directly feeding former President Obama unverified and unsubstantiated
dossier information in direct contradiction to his testimony before Congress.
Former NSA Director Michael Rogers specifically stated to Congressional investigators that
the dossier was, in fact, part of the Intelligence Community Assessment (ICA) in the Russia investigation.
Sperry goes on to add:
"In a March 5, 2018, letter to House Intelligence Committee Chairman Devin Nunes, Adm. Rogers
informed the committee that a two-page summary of the dossier — described as 'the Christopher
Steele information' — was 'added' as an 'appendix to the ICA draft,' and
that consideration of that appendix was 'part of the overall ICA review/approval process.'
'Brennan put some of the dossier material into the PDB [presidential daily briefing]
for Obama and described it as coming from a 'credible source,' which is how they
viewed Steele,' said the source familiar with the House investigation.
'But they never corroborated his sources.'"
It appears Brennan, the Obama State Department, the CIA and the FBI conspired to set "Russian
espionage traps" for minor players in the Trump campaign, planted a mole (or several)
within the Trump campaign, and then used a phony Clinton-funded dossier created by a
former British spy to bolster their flimsy claims as part of the ICA.
It appears as if the whole house of cards is about to come crashing down and as it does
Brennan continues to behave even more irrationally.
As more is revealed and the plot continues to unravel it is becoming clearer that Brennan
is unhinged.
Remember this is the very same man that insisted on being sworn in under Obama on an original
draft of the constitution (without the Bill of Rights and all those inconvenient amendments),
spied on members of Congress, endorsed torture, and ran Obama's covert drone war.
Considering the direction things seem to be going for John Brennan and his role in what
may be the largest scandal in U.S. history, diGenova's advice to get a "very very
good lawyer" seems sound.
Meanwhile, as Congressional investigators and the DOJ's Inspector General wrap up
their investigations of what happened, we wonder just how much deeper the rabbit hole
goes.

balanced forces, so as an activity, we went outside. We had a tug-of-war;
within about 40 seconds, I remembered there was a YouTube video of Essendon and Richmond

just put that video in there – bang! Kids are watching it, they're loving it...
The questions are there, the videos are there... it's actually gonna save a lot more time
than you actually trying to create that yourself.
Kids are getting feedback really quickly! So a kid who's got, say, 75%,
he goes on, he has a look at which answers he got wrong. He has a look at what are the right answers...
he goes "Ah, yeah, of course, I'm a silly duffer!" and if any kids go "Oh, I
still don't get question 8!", we go over that and get the concepts all done.
