I bought my family a TV as a gift.
And then I told them that
I'm bringing them this TV and on this TV,

I feel at peace, where I am Erick Barrondo,

When I was 10 years old,
I began to work as a gardener.
At 11, I started selling newspapers
on the streets of Quiche.
When I turned 17,
I began to work in a bakery.
This was precisely when Erick crossed
the finish line, I remember that I was
walking through the market
it was a party, like a fair in Quiche.
Raymundo lives right next to me.
Quiche is the closest village to Alta Verapaz.
And his story is summed up very well.
He went from selling newspapers
to being in the newspaper.
There had already been a lot of
race walkers before. And one common
characteristic of Guatemalan race walkers
has been that they come from
families with limited resources.
This has been a motivation to me.
I wanted to provide for my family,
and you find that in sports, if you work
for it, you can provide for your family.
Many people didn't believe that someone
from such a poor village like
San Cristobal Verapaz could achieve
something so important on an
international level.
It was a totally unknown area.
People only knew about the
region because later there was
a hillside known as Los Chorros
that unfortunately collapsed and
40 people died.
The best athletes in Guatemala come from
Alta Verapaz region. Perhaps due to its topography and
the hardships we have endured. Life is hard but it
prepares us for what will come in
the future. It prepared me for what I am today.
My sports career began when
I was six years old, when I won a
doll that cried. My mum did not
have a lot of money and I didn't
have a doll that cried. They held
an event at school and I won,
competing against tall athletes.
And me at my height. I was born little and
I'm still little. I'm 1.42 m (4ft 8in) tall.
It was the same neediness that
motivated me to keep going in
my sports career. I began to compete
and I ran for 16 years representing
Guatemala, always running barefoot.
I had my two boys and that's
when I stopped participating.
And suddenly Erick Barrondo appears,
he comes to compete at Injud stadium.
He comes to train here with Jorge Coy.
Then Jorge talked to him about me,
"If Herlinda Xol could do it,
"why can't you do it?"

for 30 years. Many times
Verapaz stadium was completely empty.
8 or 10 years ago,
only a couple of people were
training with me.
But it all changed.

Historic moment!
The most important moment of our history
not only in sports!
As the competition went by,
I saw great competitors.
I always listened to them breathe.
They looked at me. Few knew me.
I was seeing who were going to be
the strongest. I studied them.
And I was monitoring everything,
feeling more and more sure of what I could do.
Until a group of 5 athletes formed.
There were 5 of us fighting
for 3 medals.
And then a Chinese athlete started to
pull away from the competition. I, however,
preferred to be a bit cautious,
to stay a little behind.
The Russian athlete fell down.
And honestly, right then,
instead of saying, "Ooh, there's one less,
"the medal is more sure for me now,"
the first thing that popped into my
head was, "Will he be OK?"
When I turned around, I tried to see him and
I saw the ambulance picking him up.
I was first worried about his physical condition.
It never occurred to me that it was one
less athlete and that ensured me a medal.
Guatemala pay attention!
We are finishing in second place!
And then there were 4 of us
fighting for 3 medals. And that's when
I told myself, "I can do this
"This is why I'm here..." It was down to the
last lap. The bell rings. And I was saying to me,
"I am in the second place. we're close to the medal."
I remember that every step I took, I wanted to
finish fast, but that last lap would not end,
just would not end. And I turned around to
see if any athlete were coming up
from behind and I saw them on the
screen and they seemed very close.
I wanted to go faster, but the same emotion
made me feel like I wasn't going
fast enough or simply not going.
And when there were 200 metres left
to cross the finish line, Olympic champion
came in.
I turned to see if anyone was coming from behind.
No one was coming. I slowed down a bit.
I ended up crossing the line and in spite
of being prepared for it, it was
it was very hard for me to believe.

After winning the Olympic medal,
someone who didn't even know
how to run began to run and jog.
That was my personal motivation,

this sport.
Because of the Olympic medal,
think many children have
realised that sports are the door to
get out of poverty, maybe not to
become rich, but to have stability and
an opportunity to have a better life.
Soccer is very popular in Guatemala.
But the day the Olympic medal was won,
the national sport took a complete turn.
The impact of the Olympic medal
had has made the country turn to
practising sports.
For me, Erick is an extraordinary athlete,
an exceptional athlete, who achieved the
dream that we have all had at one time or another,
and some still have today.
An excellent person. An athlete who
gives his best for his country, for his family,
for his friends, for the team.
The day when he won the Olympic medal
and I saw his interview that night,
the way he spoke and how he did it
totally changed my way of thinking.
I said to myself, "I have to think
"big and think like a winner,
"because in life we also need
"to be winners, not just specifically
"in sports."
Maybe I changed my way of thinking.
And he tells me, "I am a race walker
"because I saw you." And I tell him that
my kids will probably be race walkers
because they will see you.
It's a privilege to be a friend of him.

Erick changed the life of the young
people in Chiyuc.
He has always been involved in young
groups, even before he was an athlete.
He helped young people from an association,
to work for development in both his town,
San Cristobal Verapaz and in Alta Verapaz.
I am one of the youngest Olympic medallists.
I won the medal two years after having
started to train professionally.
The moment when they put the medal
around your neck, it was a Guatemalan
who gave me mine, it brings back all
the years of struggling, of getting up early,
of staying up late, of the times
I went to bed hungry.
San Cristobal Verapaz had one of the
highest rates of mother-infant mortality.
Merely having a health centre and access to
medicine is going to change many lives,
because we will no longer see so
many mothers and children die.
When I was studying, many of my
friends' brothers, the babies died at birth.
They came to school sad, and I asked them,
"What happened?" "My brother died
"because my mother didn't
"make it to the hospital in time.
"It was so far away."
One day, a lady told me, "We have asked
"the mayor to help us with a
"health centre, but we still don't have one."
I told her, "Let me see what I can do."
I promised to get a health centre.
"It will be small, but I will give it to you."
Besides the health centre, he tried to
benefit those who were
studying basic education
and trade school in their village.
And he donated the remodelling
of their educational centre.
First, we built the secondary school
facility learning centre as students.
There was no budget. And we brought in
the stone from 2 kilometres away
on our backs and we built it ourselves.
Later, a company offered to help us.
They offered me an athletics track.
If you want it, I will do it, wherever you want.
I mentioned to them that they could
build an education centre instead,
which would benefit more people.
They asked what I was going to
get out of that. "Me? Being happy.
"Knowing that young people were
"going to study in a better place."
They got to work and built a
very large secondary school.
That's why it doesn't fall down,
because it was built with a lot of love,
with a lot of affection and a lot of commitment.
Now they have a mechanics workshop,
a bakery, they learn about electricity.
These young people are the future of
Guatemala.
Every day, when I went to bed,
I saw myself crossing the finish

I always saw myself as an Olympic champion.

16 million of Guatemalans
now believe in ourselves.
He has marked my life.

Hello welcome to my channel my name's Mark, today we're going to take a look at
this, the Edifier S50 DB speaker. This has been lent to me by Edifier, thank you very
much, as you can see it is a massive speakers
I don't even think it's fitting in shot, I'll have to move back there, you go, this is a
really wide speaker. I'll get the measurements for you, so if you've got a large TV this
is definitely one to take a look at, what we're looking at about 112cm
or 3ft 44. As you'd expect from Edifier you get a load of bits with it
you've got the mounting bracket so if you want to wall mount this you can do
so, you get the screws and fixtures as well, you get various cables to go with
this you an optical cable, a phono cable, you can connect to this via bluetooth as
well, I'll demo that in a minute. Around the back you've got various
connectors you've got the optical input, coaxial inputs, line input, auxilary input
and you also have a bass output so that's if you want to connect this to an
external subwoofer. On the front you've just got a little display and underneath
that is a volume control and mode select button so if you see at the moment it
just has some text on that'll tell you what volume you're set to and as you
click through it will show you the different modes on there as well so you
can go through coaxial, auxiliary, line in, and Bluetooth. You don't have to use the
little controller on the front a remote is included along with the batteries
that allows you to control power and the mode as well as volume and if your
connection by bluetooth you can control playback. I really like the styling of
this the wood paneling gives it a really nice look you can see if we pop these
off you can see the speakers underneath I prefer to hide the speakers away
obviously the choice is yours it is can is really designed to have these these
panels on the front what would you prefer to have them off? I don't know, let me
know in the comments below, do you like to see a bit of naked speaker or would
you prefer to cover it up? so in terms of the speaker configuration you've got 19mm
tweeter units, 70mm mid range and base units and I have to say the volume on
this is really nice, I'm used to surround sound I don't think
it's quite up to the level surround sound but compared to normal TV speakers
this really does a good job so let's get these back on and hit you with some music
[MUSIC]
Sound quality, as you'd expect from an Edifice speaker, is great and with this being
a soundbar you're gonna have it in your TV so you can use it for movies, music
games, they all sound really good and I would say they're not quite up there
with a decent surround sound system but for those who are space conscious this
is a really good option looks greater than the TV nice and wide very suitable
for my TV which is 60 inches and this fits and looks great underneath it.
I'm not a massive fan of the remote it's okay it does the job but it's quite
quite fat in the hands because maybe I'm used to holding the rectangular remotes
that most things come with or even mobiles a round remote is actually a
little bit disconcerting it is good though how you can change the
effects on it and you can also select things so you have to get up and keep

"Trong khi đó, qua tờ rơi trả góp, chỉ sau 30 phút chúng tôi gọi điện thì những người cho vay lập tức xuống tận nhà cho vay tiền mà không yêu cầu phải thế chấp bất kỳ tài tài sản gì ngoài CMND và sổ hộ khẩu", bà HBét Knul cho biết thêm
Tuy nhiên, theo tìm hiểu của PV Báo CAND, trong quá trình vay tiền "tín dụng đen", không ít người dân đã bị uy hiếp, đe dọa đến tính mạng

000 đồng để trả góp, gia đình tôi bị hai thanh niên cho vay tiền chửi bới thậm tệ, thậm chí còn đe dọa đánh đập, cắt chân, cắt tay mọi người trong gia đình

Trước tình hình các tổ chức cho vay theo kiểu "tín dụng đen", sau đó dùng các đối tượng giang hồ để uy hiếp, đòi nợ đang có chiều hướng gia tăng trên địa bàn
Công an tỉnh Đắk Lắk đã phối hợp với các cơ quan chức năng có liên quan vào cuộc, đấu tranh, truy tìm dấu vết của các đối tượng
Mới đây, Công an tỉnh Đắk Lắk đã làm rõ một nhóm đối tượng từ TP Hải Phòng vào thuê trọ chuyên cho vay nặng lãi
Công an đã bắt giữ Bùi Văn Thịnh (26 tuổi), Phạm Đình Bảo (17 tuổi), Nguyễn Thanh Tùng (30 tuổi), Nguyễn Văn Năm (25 tuổi), Hoàng Văn Cương (27 tuổi), Nguyễn Đức Khương (25 tuổi), Lê Trung Hiếu (30 tuổi), Bùi Văn Tình (27 tuổi), Vũ Văn Mạnh (26 tuổi, cùng trú TP Hải Phòng) và Nguyễn Thị Ngọc Tiền (25 tuổi, trú tại huyện Krông Ana, tỉnh Đắk Lắk)
Theo cơ quan điều tra, nhóm đối tượng này do Thịnh cầm đầu
Cách đây khoảng 2 năm, Thịnh từ Hải Phòng vào TP Buôn Ma Thuột thuê một phòng trọ để hành nghề cho vay nặng lãi
Sau đó, thấy "nghề" này ăn nên, làm ra, Thịnh đã gọi thêm các đối tượng hầu hết là những thành phần bất hảo ở TP Hải Phòng vào cùng tham gia
Các đối tượng đã thu hút được rất nhiều người dân ở tỉnh Đắk Lắk vay tiền
Khi người vay không còn khả năng trả nợ, các đối tượng liền kéo đến nhà đe dọa, đòi lấy tài sản

Edifier S50DB Soundbar Review - Duration: 5:00.Hello welcome to my channel my name's Mark, today we're going to take a look at
this, the Edifier S50 DB speaker. This has been lent to me by Edifier, thank you very
much, as you can see it is a massive speakers
I don't even think it's fitting in shot, I'll have to move back there, you go, this is a
really wide speaker. I'll get the measurements for you, so if you've got a large TV this
is definitely one to take a look at, what we're looking at about 112cm
or 3ft 44. As you'd expect from Edifier you get a load of bits with it
you've got the mounting bracket so if you want to wall mount this you can do
so, you get the screws and fixtures as well, you get various cables to go with
this you an optical cable, a phono cable, you can connect to this via bluetooth as
well, I'll demo that in a minute. Around the back you've got various
connectors you've got the optical input, coaxial inputs, line input, auxilary input
and you also have a bass output so that's if you want to connect this to an
external subwoofer. On the front you've just got a little display and underneath
that is a volume control and mode select button so if you see at the moment it
just has some text on that'll tell you what volume you're set to and as you
click through it will show you the different modes on there as well so you
can go through coaxial, auxiliary, line in, and Bluetooth. You don't have to use the
little controller on the front a remote is included along with the batteries
that allows you to control power and the mode as well as volume and if your
connection by bluetooth you can control playback. I really like the styling of
this the wood paneling gives it a really nice look you can see if we pop these
off you can see the speakers underneath I prefer to hide the speakers away
obviously the choice is yours it is can is really designed to have these these
panels on the front what would you prefer to have them off? I don't know, let me
know in the comments below, do you like to see a bit of naked speaker or would
you prefer to cover it up? so in terms of the speaker configuration you've got 19mm
tweeter units, 70mm mid range and base units and I have to say the volume on
this is really nice, I'm used to surround sound I don't think
it's quite up to the level surround sound but compared to normal TV speakers
this really does a good job so let's get these back on and hit you with some music
[MUSIC]
Sound quality, as you'd expect from an Edifice speaker, is great and with this being
a soundbar you're gonna have it in your TV so you can use it for movies, music
games, they all sound really good and I would say they're not quite up there
with a decent surround sound system but for those who are space conscious this
is a really good option looks greater than the TV nice and wide very suitable
for my TV which is 60 inches and this fits and looks great underneath it.
I'm not a massive fan of the remote it's okay it does the job but it's quite
quite fat in the hands because maybe I'm used to holding the rectangular remotes
that most things come with or even mobiles a round remote is actually a
little bit disconcerting it is good though how you can change the
effects on it and you can also select things so you have to get up and keep
pressing this button if you don't want. There you go that's the Edifier sound bar hope

When you CRASH || Wing-Over - ep.2 - Duration: 1:20.
Welcome to another episode of "wing-over" if you haven't watched the first episode,
check the link in the description.
In this episode we will look at what happens if you crash your plane during a match.
For a match you are allowed to bring two mechanics
and two complete, ready to fly planes
If you crash a plane, one mechanic will run to get the streamer, off the downed model.
He has to run on the outside of the circle for safety reasons.
Only when he is correctly aligned with the model can he run in and drag it outside.
The pilots gets penalized for each second they spent on the ground, so the mechanics
has to act realy fast.
He removes the streamer and runs back to the spare plane.
In the meantime the other mechanic have started the engine of the spare plane.
the streamer is hooked on and the plane is launched
the match resumes
Now the mechanics will now go to service the downed plane.
Sometimes all that is needed is a simple prop change, other times,
covering must be taped up.
A lot of other things can happen to the plane that the mechanics need to fix.
Sometimes the pilot will even come out and help.

James spoke about their relationship.
"We have a great relationship," James said per Fox Sports.
"We've been together since '05, and our relationship has grown every year.
I've grown from a young man into a man into a leader of that team.

James has also been critical of the NCAA and would like to see the system reformed.

on? My name is Devin Street, helping you build your online presence and today
we're gonna be talking about all things PewDiePie but if you're not already

every single Sunday about YouTube so YouTube uses something I don't talk
about much on this channel but I have talked about it in the past and today
we're gonna be talking about two issues one being about Logan Paul and PewDiePie
and one being about T Series in PewDiePie so let's go ahead and first
talk about the Logan Paul issue so recently YouTube announced that they
were going to be releasing The Thinning 2 that features Logan Paul in it and
this was supposed to be released before but they pulled it back because of the
Logan Paul incident in January in Japan and I felt like this was at the time the
right thing for YouTube to do but now the more I look at it it's summed up
pretty much by what PewDiePie said in a recent video where he talked about that
these kind of things these projects whether it's scary PewDiePie or the
thinning to that they should be released because more than just those people
worked on them and I believe that everyone should be punished for one
person's actions this is why when Logan Paul's controversy broke despite me
clearly I don't like him I said I don't think his show should be canceled and I
meant that because you know punished Logan for what he did and punished me
and for my mistakes but to punish everyone involved on this project I mean
these parts are so massive it just doesn't make sense so I think it's a
good thing that they're releasing the thing to but we need to talk about scare
PewDiePie for a second see back in 2017 PewDiePie had his series pulled called
scare PewDiePie because of a controversy with him and the New York Times and
YouTube just decided to pull that the only problem is that YouTube has still
not released that even though everyone had worked on it and he
even said that in his video scare PewDiePie was finished we finished
shooting it it's ready it needs to be edited so basically what YouTube is
saying is that Logan Paul could show a body in a video and he's still gonna be
fine he's gonna be ok and that he's just going to get his series release later
it's just being pushed back but PewDiePie makes a distasteful joke and
his series is just basically cancelled which I don't agree with and I'm sure
you probably wouldn't agree with either you probably think that showing a body
in a video is worse than just making a distasteful joke so what I think YouTube
should actually do in this situation is I don't think there should be any more
thinning series no more thinning 3 or anything but also reinstate the
PewDiePie series and apologize to him release the season 2 and then continue
the series with some kind of season 3 or something of that variety with that
being said let's move on to a more interesting topic with PewDiePie versus
t-series now if you haven't somehow heard of t-series yet they're the Indian
YouTube channel that is mainly based around music but they also do other
kinds of things and it's a large scale corporation that will pump out tons of
videos every single day and they're currently the fastest growing channel on
YouTube and they're about the past PewDiePie to gain that number one spot
for most subscribers on YouTube currently at the time of recording this
video PewDiePie is at 67 point 1 million subscribers and t-series is at 66 0.5
million subscribers so they're very close to each other and is projected
that in the next 6 days that t-series should pass PewDiePie so why is this
important well I think it's the end of the era on YouTube when we look at this
and really think about it this is the last time I think the number one
subscribed channel on YouTube will be a sole individual you see with the current
way the algorithm is it's very likely that a large scale corporation
is going to be able to hold that first spot because they have so many people
working on just videos getting out as many videos a day like you see with
t-series they'll get seven eight videos out a day while pewdiepie he can
probably get out two to three a week as a single person and it's much harder to
do when you're just one person and you can't get as much content out and that
doesn't even talk about quality like some people may say t-series has a
stronger quality because they have so many more people working on it while
PewDiePie is just this one person that has to get out as good a quality videos
as he can while still mating a two to three video per week mark for instance
with this channel I can only get out about two videos per week and they can't
be that high of quality and if I try to do three or four the quality is just
going to decrease if I tried to go daily it's going to decrease a lot on the
other hand a large scale corporation like t-series you have multiple people
working on a single video just to get that video out so you have maybe five
people working on one video ten working on another and they're all working on
their video about a week ahead of time and getting that out on that day and you
have a bunch of those groups doing that every single day so they're releasing
that many videos a day and they're still keeping that quality because they have
those teams together that are able to work on that together and have all that
time to do it and that's just what the YouTube algorithm prefers it likes
people who can get out lots of videos and get a lot of watch time and t-series
is the perfect place for that mostly because so many people in India are just
now getting introduced to the internet there's more and more every year and
t-series is the number one thing being shown to them when they go to this site
called YouTube so when they go here and see t-series they're gonna check out a
video and they'll probably like it because it appeals to their demographic
and they're gonna subscribe and this is just going to keep growing because India
is just one of the highest populated countries in the world but I think this
is sad that it's coming to this point to where these youtubers these Seoul people
making a chain can't do it because YouTube's slogan
used to be broadcast yourself now it's get a company together to make high
quality videos and grow faster a shout-out to Finn Dominator who said I
was underrated and if you want to get a shout out just like Finn Dominator all
you have to do is go down and click the subscribe button and then go in the
comments and tell me that you subscribed or what you liked about the video or
something and I'll give you a shout out in a video just keep in mind commenting

..which is a pistol with a scope.
I honestly dont know its real name.
I even doubt if theres a real gun like this.
The gun is available from the upcoming version 4.2.2 . Right now its in beta and soon to
be out for official version.
So at a first look, its a pistol and you can see a long scope over it and yes it does work.
You can zoom out upto 6x view.
And you could also equip this with a shield or even better, you can dual wield it.
Also, the damage is pretty much high.
Now, before making anymore assessments, lets just take a deeper look into its real power..
That was really powerful.
Powerful exactly like a magnum.
3 shots to kill just as a magnum but with a faster rate of shooting and much more range.
The scope view is again exactly like the sniper rifle in here but more powerful.
The only 2 guns to rival this in terms of damage is Sniper and Shotgun.
But we do know that shotgun is short ranged and sniper has lowest firing rate.
Dual wield this new weapon and its a beast in your hands.
So accept it or not guys, this weapon is now the most Powerful weapon in this game and
the game just got a bit better.

For one the cyclist, who is also competing in the rowing tomorrow, got a selfie with Prince Harry
But more importantly she won a silver medal.Surrounded by her family who had travelled from as far as Adelaide to watch her compete, Mysko said it was a proud moment
"To win a medal with my daughter here is so special," she said."The crowd was fantastic
They really got me over the line.I could hear them when I hit the hill, it was electric
" The former Navy medic has come a long way.After she was medically discharged in 2015, Mysko had three stints in a psychiatric facility
She joined the Invictus pathways program and said the goal-setting in sport had levelled her
She said she had "unfinished business" at the games."I've still got another one tomorrow (the rowing event)
It was a carnival atmosphere at the Botanical Gardens, with flags from all nations lining the finishing line at the cycling event
But one flag, in the form of a human body, stood out.Kathy Corrigan, dressed head to toe in the Union Jack, had travelled all the way from Devon in southern England specifically for the Invictus Games
She said she had been planning the trip for months."When I heard it was going to be here I booked my tickets straight away," she said
"I love it.It's such a great event … and I even managed to get to Bondi Beach as well
" Ms Corrigan said she planned to attend events every day.Many of the competitors have made big sacrifices to get to Sydney, but on the topic of commitment, Paul 'Bulldog' Guest takes the cake
The UK competitor had the Invictus Games symbol tattooed on his face.He said he planned to get the Australian flag and a "Sydney" tattoo later in the week
Sailing events at Farm Cove in the Sydney Harbour are taking place on Sunday afternoon, with more events throughout the week
