Book of Jeremiah chapter 1

Verses 4 and 5

Before I formed you in the womb

I knew you

Before you were born I sanctified you

I ordained you a prophet to the nations

it's interesting how Jeremiah even though he was a son of a priest

we don´t know why God specifically spoke to his identity

But I think it is because God knows we struggle with this

He said "before you were born...

what?

I chose you

It comes to my attention how in the Hebrew

that word "I choose you"

means "I designed you"

the Lord through the Prophet Isaiah

He said "Oh Lord you are my maker"

it isn't a coincidence that among all the professions that Jesus could have chosen

He chose to be a carpenter

he chose to take wood and create

why? because that is what God does

God is an expert forming, creating

and sometimes one struggles with what is my purpose on this earth

I think that the thought

why was I born?

Sometimes one thinks that one was born an accident

But when the Lord spoke to Jeremiah

he said "before you were born"

He said "Jeremiah, you weren't an accident

you weren't an unwanted pregnancy

You weren't rejected

maybe by your human parents, your earthly parents did

but I already had a purpose

I had something at mind

You know what is beautiful about the word?

That since the beginning even before you were born

God already had a purpose for you

When a baby is born, an accident is not being born

but a purpose is being born

you might tell me "well, this is different about you"

but you know? My parents only wanted two daughters.

I think the majority of parents only want two children

they say "just two, two, two"

and they planned to have only two

my older sister came, then the second one

and they did everything in their plans

to not have more kids

then the first surprise arrived

which happens to be my third sister, Manuela

they said "We stop with this one- we're done"

5 years later

the second surprise arrived - me!

it wasn't an accident

now, your story is different, your background is different

and even though you were born in a difficult situation

God planned it

God planned your birth, God planned your destiny

there is a verse that grabs my attention

in Psalms chapter 139 verse 16, it says

You saw me before I was born.

When you wouldn't even imagine what your life could be like

the word said: You saw me before I was born

Every day of my life was recorded in your book.

Every moment

look how powerful this is

every moment was designed

before a single day had passed

Every day of your life were designed.

you know like every artist has their personal mark

they put there signature

and one knows when one sees a masterpiece

and you know what artist is this

we have a very well-known artist here in Colombia

Fernando Botero

One sees his sculptures, his paintings and they have his special mark

one knows it's the mark of Botero

what is Botero's personal mark?

He creates everything more robust

Even the fruits, the people he leaves them a size xxxxl he leaves everything much bigger

he leaves everything much bigger

but that's his mark

one goes and sees and says oh that is Botero's

A sculpture, a fruit, a baby - Botero!

God is an artist and he also leaves his mark

What happens is that the enemy does everything to steal that mark

to steal the mark of the creator in you

even though sometimes the years pass and you say

Well Lord, I passed so many years without knowing you

how is this that everyday was already planned?

God designed even the moment when you met him

He designed everything, he designed the people, he designed the moment that you might enter a church

or that someone was going to call you or a difficult circumstance

God designed every moment

I'm impacted by Moses' life

because Moses arrived in a moment that the women did not want to have babies

you know why?

because there was a decree of death

the enemy knows that every time that a baby is born, a purpose is born

the Bible says that we were made in the image and likeness of God

there is a constant battle

that is why the huge battle of a lot of women is to have their baby

because the enemy knows that a prophet is being born

that there son is being born, someone with their mark

I don't know if you remember the story, the Bible says that Pharaoh had sent a decree of death

Every boy under the age of two had to be thrown into the Nile River

Moses is born under these circumstances

and it really calls my attention what the mother of Moses does

because the Bible says in Acts 7 that when Moses was born

he was a beautiful child before the eyes of God.

you know when a baby is born

even though they could be in a family that doesn't know Him

an undesired circumstance

The baby is beautiful to God's eyes

and Moses was born-

the mom hid him for three months

hiding him everyday

but there was a moment when she said

well, What do I do?

I cannot hide him anymore

and the bible says that she created a basket

and she put him in this basket and threw him in faith into the Nile river

I was looking for the meaning of that word "basket"

and it took me to the same word used for "ark"

and what did the ark do?

it brought purpose

it brought protection when the flood happened

You know what God did?

Moses didn't even remember about the basket

because one never remembers what they lived when they were 3 months old

There are things that you don't remember

but you were in the basket

you don't know the things God has protected you from

why? because God protects his children

God protects his purposes

God protects you

I've met so many people that say they were born in the worst circumstances

one of my disciples was born in a very difficult circumstance

her parents were not Christian

her parents lived on the streets

And she was born in those circumstances

she was born in a city in Colombia called Cartagena

and you may think "what is the purpose of a baby to be born in those circumstances?"

but God had each and every one of her days planned

you see her story today

you know her, her name is Michelle Morales

you can say "accidents don't exist"

"purposes exist"

God brought you here today to tell you

the moment you were born I had already planned

every one of our days

I even planned the moment you encountered me

it took Moses 40 years to meet his creator

but the most beautiful thing is when the creation meets their creator

it's where miracles occur

it's where you recover your mark

the mark of the creator in you

In fact, it took Moses more time. It took him 80 years

when he was 80 years old, he truly met his creator

and in that moment he encountered his purpose

maybe you haven't had that encounter with your creator yet

but God created everything,

he aligns people, he aligns circumstances

so that you can meet your creator

the hard days, even the days you didn't understand

they will make sense now

when you get to know your creator

because God doesn't make accidents, he creates purposes

today I want to make a prayer

and in this prayer you are going to say

Lord, I want to understand your purpose in me

I want to understand why I was born

where I was born

I want to understand how you see me

when you understand what the Lord told Jeremiah

you understand how God sees you

God says "Since you were in the womb of you mother, I knew you"

you didn't get here randomly to this world

you didn't get randomly to church

you got here because I have a specific purpose with you

the purposes of God are not general

it's not for everybody

God didn't call everyone at once, no!

you see that God calls individuals.

God called abraham, God called Issac, God called Jacob

God called Moses. God called Elijah, God called Elisha

he calls us individually

And until you understand that the calling, that mark God created you with

you aren't going to understand the value you have

Jesus didn't die for everyone, he died for you

Because He is that creator

I heard a story that really caught my attention

it's the story of kid

who made a little boat with his own hands

he made his little boat

he designed it, he gave it the form he wanted

and it was his little boat

when he finished the boat, he put his initials on it, he put his mark

and everyday he would go out

and put the boat in the river

he would play everyday with the boat

but one day the current in the river was very strong

and the boat went away and got lost

years passed and yet he didn't know what happened with his boat

but one day he was walking in the town he lived in

he passed through a store

a store that used to sell old things

and when he is walking by it,

he gets closer

he sees something that he recognizes

His little boat!

he entered the store and said

let me see that little boat

the sells man gives it to him

and the first thing he looks for is what?

his initials

It was a little broken, a little dirty but it was his little boat!

he asked "how much is it"?

the owner of the store told him the price

with pleasure, he took the money

He paid the price and took his little boat back

when he went out, looks at his boat

and speaks to it and he tells it

little boat: now you are doubly mine

because first I formed you and then I bought you

you know that's what God does for us

he formed us from the womb

it says "Before I formed you in the womb, I knew you"

And he Bought us through His blood

you're not an accident.

you are God's purpose on this earth

Close your eyes

Lord, Thank you.

Why I'm Never Going to Buy a New Car and You Shouldn't Either - Duration: 5:20.

Rev up your engines, pie says hey scotty, what's your opinion on

the all new 2019 toyota corolla hatchback, is it as realize as the older models, well

only time will tell, it's 2019 right, it's still 2018 here but

you know in June they start calling them 2019 so you know,

I personally never believe in buying a new model of anything because you never know if

their going to have bugs or not, now seeing the history of toyota and corollas,

they never really made many mistakes so I imagine they would probably be pretty good

vehicles, but personally myself, I only buy things that

have been tried and proven over the years and I'm cheap as can be so I'm never going

to buy a new car, why would I pay even $20,000 for a brand new

car when I can get them when their 7-8 years old with 50,000-60,000 miles for $4,000-5,000

and they still have 80 percent of their value, if I could buy a car for 10-20% of what it's

original price was, and still have 80% of it's lifespan in it, I'm all in and that's

all I've done my entire life and that's all I'm going to continue to do,

the guy is a genius, there's no doubting that, what he makes one of the fastest cars in the

world, if you got $2-3 million to throw out you know

why not buy a couple of them, he's got very interesting technology, he pushes

the edge, and yeah that's an interesting design I got

to say, it's very interesting, that said, you know stuff like that isn't going to be

in normal cars for quite some time if at all, he's dealing with cutting edge technology

and I find it interesting, I love watching shows about it, I'd love to meet the guy,

hey if somebody wants to fly me to Sweden I'd gladly go, by wife would like to do too,

you know she could meet some of her old relatives or something there in Sweden,

but he's an interesting guy and he has some very interesting designs too,

So Cal says do Hybrids really save you gas, well yes they do, because they regenerate

electricity, but you got to understand under what conditions they do that,

if you drive on the highway, a hybrid doesn't do anything except give you extra power, because

when you're driving 60 mph say in a toyota prius, it's running 100% on the gasoline engine,

if you had another car like a toyota corolla you can get pretty close to the same gas mileage

going on the highway 55-60 mph, but when you get in stop and go traffic, some

of those things can get 50-60 mpg because when you stop, it regenerates the electricity

with the braking system, that goes into the giant battery and then the car can run on

the electric motor, they do save you on gas if you do a lot of

stop and go driving, I noticed the last time I was in Seattle every

Uber driver that I used from the airport to the hotel I was staying at was driving a toyota

prius, and they do it because they save a lot on gas, and their rides were cheaper,

it was a long way from the airport to downtown Seattle and it cost me 24 bucks because the

guy said, hey you know I only used 3/4 of a gallon of

gasoline so it only cost me $2 in gas, they do actually work, for getting better gas mileage,

as to whether you recoup the investment of what you pay extra, generally you're not unless

you're running a business, bear says scotty how risky it is to buy cars

across country or internationally, well of course anything is a risk, if you can't personally

put your hand on it and see, I mean a few years back, a company wanted

me to talk about their auction set up, so they gave me a truck, a pickup truck and it

looked ok, of course you know they only show you a few pictures,

and it was a toyota and it only had 110,000 miles which is nothing for one of those, so

they sent it over here on a tow truck and they dropped it off, I pull it in the driveway

and I crawl under it and the frame is all rotten,

you know if I would have paid money for that I would have been furious, I had to re-weld

frame stuff it was a pain in the butt, I gave it to my son he's still driving it, so I did

a good job fixing it, it's real risky buying things that you can't

personally see I mean it's just a gigantic risk, especially if you're going international,

now if you're using a company like ebay and stuff though a lot of times they got a pretty

good guarantee that if it's not as they said it was, ebay holds the money in escrow and

they'll give you your money back, a lot of times that's not a bad way if you're

dealing with a company like that, that will give you you're money back if it wasn't as

advertised, but it's always a big gamble buying something like that, there's no questioning

that, I have a 2010 toyota camry, it has a flashing

ac light, the ac work for a couple minutes and then shuts off, the relay and the ac controls

have been changed what do you think is wrong, ok it's probably the ac compressor clutch

is going out, if you're low on refrigerant they'll do that,

and if the clutch is going out they'll do that,

and they had a problem with some of the clutches on those,

as they wear out the electric magnetic field breaks down and then it shorts out and then

that light starts flashing, now make sure that it's full of refrigerant,

because if it's low on refrigerant it can do the same thing, but if it's full of refrigerant,

you already changed the relay, odds are that the compressor clutch is starting to wear

out and if you want to try just changing the clutch, you can bolt a clutch on it without

having to take the compressor off the vehicle, knock all the gas out and then refill it which

is a real pain in the butt, so if you never want to miss another one of

my new car repair videos, remember to ring that bell!

Mega Hacktoberfest has been a ton of fun

and honestly there's a bunch more Mega Man hacks

that I would love to have had looked at.

Maybe I'll look at them at a later date.

Perhaps either in a rom hack compilation vid or

if people really want me to, and let me know down in the comments below,

maybe I'll start doing individual rom hack reviews

outside of Hacktoberfest again.

It's a rom hack of Mega Man 3!

It's called My Little Pony: Dr. Discord's Conquest!

- [JAMES] Uh...

Alright, dude, let me ask this

in the absolute nicest way possible.

What the fu-!

- [SEAN] Welcome to Bearded Internet Men!

That show where grown men talk about video games aimed towards children.

- [JAMES] And if that sounds cool to you, why not subscribe?

And today we're taking a look at one of the oddest

rom hacks that I've ever looked at:

a My Little Pony Mega Man 3 rom hack.

Okay.

Now I should mention: I'm really not surprised that this exists.

There have been Touhou Mega Man fan games,

Metroid Mega Man fan games,

Rule 63 Mega Man fan games,

Mega Man-style games where you play as a mouse,

and even a game officially sanctioned by Capcom themselves

which pits Mega Man against various Street Fighter characters.

Full disclosure, though, I know absolutely nothing about My Little Pony.

If you're a fan of the series and I seem shocked by seemingly trivial stuff here,

legit it's because my only interaction with the series outside of this

is hearing terrible fanfiction readings and

also hearing my five-year-old niece talk about it.

- [SEAN] So, when it comes to this game, I actually saw somebody do a stream.

They were just doing a random one and someone sent them a rom hack of Mega Man 3 and

he was like "alright" and booted it up

and he was met with THIS.

I mainly suggested this game because it's weird and

it fits like the weird, retro vibe of this channel

and I was like "Hey, James, let's do this" and he was like "Sean I hate you."

- [JAMES] So diving right into it, and much like in Mega Man 3 proper,

upon booting up the game we're sent to the title screen without

any sort of story, so I guess, um

I guess we're going against the re-branded Dr. Wily

who is also a dragon-goat-thing because

dragons are evil and can sway horses to also be evil.

- [SEAN] Upon starting, we're treated to a selection of eight bosses

and some wonderful Mega Man 8 music!

This is actually one of many retro video game references

in this: we've got Castlevania,

we got Sonic,

we've got Kirby,

we've even got Mega Man X! It's all represented in this game.

- [JAMES] So I'm also not sure what the boss order is here

so, for the sake of simplicity, let's pick a boss

and then go around the selection screen clockwise.

First up on the chopping block: Celestia.

- [SEAN] As you can tell by the music here,

this level is based off of Castlevania.

It's even complete with zombie horses and things trying to impale you!

- [JAMES] Now I'm not sure if either of those things were ever in a Castlevania game,

but also, why is Mega Man in this game a purple horse

shooting white stuff from it's hands...ew.

- [SEAN] Oddly enough, the level design here is actually remarkably solid.

The boss here, though, is just a modified version of

Spark Man from Mega Man 3.

But, it's seemingly more susceptible to damage from the default weapon.

- [JAMES] Seriously. Wow. That boss was really pathetic.

All the sprite work here, though,

is really fantastic, especially during the boss encounter.

I love me some 8-bit stained glass!

- [SEAN] Upon defeat, though,

we get our first weapon: the Royal Blaze!

- [JAMES] As fancy as a name like "Royal Blaze" sounds,

it's just a recolour of Spark Man's weapon from Mega Man 3 proper.

That goes for all of the weapons here.

There's also no Rush Jet equivalent in this game for some reason.

- [SEAN] So next we're going against Fluttershy.

Don't ask me how I know that.

- [JAMES] This stage is Kirby themed

and it pulls it off really well, too!

- [SEAN] The only somewhat annoying thing here

is that these demonic horses come out

and fire bomb you...it's actually kind of cool.

Besides that, it's just another easy stage.

- [JAMES] Also, for some reason when you climb a ladder,

you get treated to the sign of some 8-bit horse ass.

- [SEAN] So after another fairly easy boss fight,

and we grab another weapon and move on to the next stage,

which is Apple Jack!

- [COMMERCIAL ANNOUNCER] Part of a nutritious breakfast!

- [JAMES] Nothing too radically different here, with the except of these exploding Christmas presents.

The music here is based off of Hill Top Zone from Sonic 2

and it's actually a really good de-made version of that theme, but

besides that it's just another well designed stage

with some nice platforming challenges

that is still a bit easier than standard Mega Man fare.

- [SEAN] I'll be honest,

so far I think this is actually a pretty decent

starting point for people that want to

get into Mega Man.

While not as easy as, say,

easy mode in Mega Man 10,

it's definitely easier than a lot of other Mega Man titles.

It managed to be a fairly relaxing game

that doesn't really hold your hand.

- [JAMES] I agree here as well.

I know nothing about any of these characters or why

I should care about killing them,

but I'm having fun regardless.

So far, it's Mega Man but with other retro gaming references

and, well, horses.

- [SEAN] And, the next stages are just more of the same, but that's not necessarily a bad thing.

Reading Rainbow's stage features the same

rain gimmick that Toad Man's stage did in Mega Man 4.

It also has a boss that can turn into the Tasmanian Devil!

Luna's stage is just Ninja Gaiden on the moon.

Trixie's stage is a spoopy factory.

Pinkie Pie is so vain that she has giant robots of her frickin-

It's her head!

- [JAMES] Of the eight main stages, the only

other one I'm going to note specifically is Rarity.

She's actually still pretty well designed for the most part.

However, I did encounter a few glitches here.

Mainly, there are a few graphical anomalies,

there's a ton of slowdown whenever

there's a lot of sprites on screen,

which, granted, was always an issue with Mega Man 3.

And the boss herself, who is based off the unfortunately named Hard Man,

has some collision detection issues.

- [SEAN] But with all eight down it's time to go to that fortress!

- [JAMES] Wait, isn't there some equivalent to the Doc Robot stages from Mega Man 3?

Y'know, those four random remixed versions of previous stages

that you had to go through before you got to Dr. Wily's fortress?

- [SEAN] Nope, just a fortress that's one stage longer than the original one.

- [JAMES] Oh thank goodness. Those absolutely destroyed the pacing in Mega Man 3 proper.

- [SEAN] So instead of raiding a castle at the end like in most Mega Man games,

here you're actually raiding the mad doctor's secret island.

This is honestly really cool, and a simple yet effective

twist on the tried and true Mega Man formula.

In the first stage you're actually put in the middle of a desert,

and, I mean, as you can tell by all the pyramids,

and like, you're in Egypt, I assume, I dunno, I don't

really know geography.

It features the first of several themed bosses:

the Discord Shocking System.

- [JAMES] Well this guy seems pretty...electrifying.

- [SEAN] ~claps~ How clever.

- [JAMES] What's really cool about the fortress here

is much like in Rockman 4 Minus Infinity,

the fortress stages all have continuity with one another.

Meaning, the end point of one stage is going to be the start of the next.

- [SEAN] These are definitely a bit more difficult than the earlier stages of the game.

Thankfully, not too mu-

wait, did I just get insta-killed by a freaking rock?

- [JAMES] I also like as well how Discord stage two goes through a variety

of biomes as you approach the fortress building itself,

such as the swamp!

- [SEAN] At the end of it,

we encounter the Discord Cowardice System,

which engages in the cowardly action of...shield.

Uh, okay.

- [JAMES] Okay, so allow me to gush a bit. Stage three

has Game Boy Mega Man references galore

I really like the Game Boy Mega Man games,

so much so that one of the earliest videos on this channel

is a retrospective on them that I should honestly

remake at some point...yeah, that video is kind of rough looking back.

Also, what's with all of these warnings?

Are these supposed to scare me or something?

"Do Not Enter!"

"This stuff makes you sick!"

Well, you know what, some of the stuff that gets said about me in the

- [SEAN] Upon getting past the Discord Drowning System at the end of the stage,

we get to the obligatory boss rush, I mean

it's in every other Mega Man, it's gonna be in a frickin

My Little Pony Mega Man!

- [JAMES] Instead of being followed just by the final boss, though,

the next stage is actually a completely fleshed out level

where you fight a clone of yourself at the end.

I know it's a cliché and has been done in a bunch of other Mega Man games before, but,

gosh, I always love these duels against yourself.

It just always seemed so cool to me,

just the, well, just the concept of fighting a clone of yourself!

- [SEAN] Finally, though, we're at the final stage

and against the final boss!

He's in a mech suit...of his own head!

- [JAMES] So I have a question: is this guy a goat or a dragon?

Maybe he's just Satan himself?

- [SEAN] As big and weird as he looks, you can literally beat him just by twirling into him.

That's not a joke. You can.

This is the game.

- [JAMES] And with that, the mad doctor-Satan-thing is dead,

the castle crumbles,

and we cut to the credits,

which feature our hero writing a letter home.

I think I was supposed to learn something today,

as I guess this is a rom hack based off a children's television show

and those are all based around morals and friendship and

believing in the heart of the cards and what not.

- [SEAN] Apparently, we're also thinking about all the horses we sent to the big glue factory in the sky.

This means that the actual moral of the story here isn't friendship, but rather...

clones.

Or morality.

Perhaps, how we can come to terms as who were are as a person

and we just grip that rea-

what are you doing? What are you doing? Get out of here!

- [JAMES] And that's pretty much it!

I was not expecting this game to be good, and when

when Sean suggested it I thought it was just going to be a bunch of memes or

or overall terrible stuff in general, but no!

My Little Pony: Dr. Discord's Conquest,

and I say this as someone who is unfamiliar with a big chunk of the source material,

is a fun time.

Anyone can jump in and enjoy it, and, as

it's a bit easier than standard Mega Man fare,

but note quite as, uh,

easy as, well, easy mode in Mega Man 10.

I'd say that this rom hack would actually be a great

place to start if you're new

to the series. I kid you not!

It's that good and that easy to get into!

- [SEAN] Honestly, this isn't a bad rom hack at all

and, I mean, sure, the beginning is super easy, but the final stages

add, like, that kind of difficulty that you really look for in a Mega Man game.

But yeah, I had fun with this one, even if we pissed off PETA.

Meh. Nothing new.

Third, giving a dog as a gift.

Many dog owners give dogs and puppies as gifts.

If you want to get a puppy for free, this is definitely a good option.

You can find people who are giving a dog as a gift on social networks, websites, and etc.

So if you want to get a dog, consider whether you want to adopt a dog and save the life

of an unlucky dog or buy a certain dog breed.

Keep in mind that dogs are awesome pets and if you decide to get a dog, you will surely

not regret it.
