Youtube daily report w Oct 2 2018

Prisons are built to keep convicted inmates locked securely behind bars.

And despite the locked doors, barbed wire fences and sniper towers, we have had some

pretty crazy prison escapes.

How's it going YouTube?

I'm your host Landon Dowlatsingh and today we are going to be looking at some pretty

impressive and daring escapes that you never thought were possible.

So get ready because right now we have the top 10 prison escapes caught on camera.

Starting off this crazy list in at number 10 we have a very dangerous inmate who escaped

form an Arkansas jail.

Is this real life right now?

How did the deputy not catch him?

He was literally right behind him.

The escaped convict was Derrick Estell and he managed to escape jail by squeezing through

a little window and running towards a getaway car that was driven by his girlfriend.

Estell was originally serving time behind bars for aggravated robbery, breaking and

entering and burglary.

But I bet if he wasn't a criminal, he could have had a shot at the Olympics for running

the 100m dash, because damn he is pretty quick.

Number 9 takes us over to the easiest prison escape ever.

What is something that all inmates wish for when they are breaking out of jail?

They probably want an unlocked cell door and a distraction, right?

Well that's exactly what Torrie Smith got.

Let's take a look at her daring escape

Torrie Smith was arrested for aggravated assault on her boyfriend and she was brought to a

New Orleans jail for processing but I guess she saw a crack in the security so she decided

to take it.

It was discovered that a prison guard accidentally left two doors open, well I think its safe

to say that this prison guard was definitely fired.

After her easy escape from the prison, she then scaled the fence but she was rearrested

just 24 hours after she managed to escape.

I hope they remembered to lock the doors this time.

Number 8 brings us to the dumbest prison guard ever.

A Romanian police officer was given the simple task of escorting two prisoners to the nearby

courthouse.

He was supposed to led them into a police van and bring them to their hearing when this

happened.

As the three of them are walking towards the van, this prisoner sees an escape opportunity

and decides to take it.

The prison guard apparently lost all of his police training and common sense because he

unlocked the fence and decided to chase after him.

So now, we have this second convict who has found himself in a great spot.

He does what any other inmate would do and decides to make a run for it.

This prison guard now has two escaped convicts and he can only chase down one of them because

they ran in opposite directions.

Now that's what I call an awful day at work.

Crashing onto this list in at number 7 we have a bulldozer that hits a prison.

This literally sounds like a scene from a movie, but I promise you guys, this actually

happened.

Let's take a look.

12 prisoners managed to escape from a maximum-security prison in Denmark.

These prisoners were definitely not the kind that you want roaming your neighborhood streets.

They were robbers, drug dealers and murderers.

Before the escape happened, a former inmate was in contact with people inside of the prison

with a cellphone that he threw over the wall.

He then stole a bulldozer and smashed through the walls and released some of the prisoners.

I wonder if he had another get away car because a bulldozer isn't the fastest thing out

there.

Up next in at number 6 we have a very violent prison escape.

Three prisoners escaped from a detention centre in China after they attacked and killed a

prison guard.

It's no surprise that all three of these men were in prison for very violent crimes

including murder.

So, here's how the escape went down.

One of the inmates asked the prison guard if he could make a phone call, once they were

alone in the room, he began to strangle the guard to death.

The other two inmates then ran into the room and grabbed the keys.

They all changed into prison guard uniforms and were able to walk out of the prison one

by one without being detected.

Police offered a $20,000 reward for any information that would help them recapture these inmates.

They were recaptured ten days after the escape and two of them were handed death sentences

while the other one was given a life sentence for his involvement with the escape.

The man who impersonated another prisoner who was set to be released climbs onto this

list in at number 5.

Rocky Marquez has managed to escape not once, but twice out of the prison system in two

separate states.

Police officials just can't seem to keep him locked up behind bars.

But my favourite escape that he did was when he impersonated an inmate who was being released.

So basically, he just walked out of the prison.

He didn't even need to run or scale any fences.

What makes things even worse, the prison guards didn't even know that he was missing from

the jail until five days later.

So either, he is smarter than the average criminal or these prison guards are idiots.

We have another deadly prison escape and this comes in at number 4.

After the inmate stabbed the officer,he was able to unlock his shackles with a key and

he raced to grab the gun that was in the van.

After the inmate were in the clear, the killer manage to escape Eventually, after the escape,

he crashed his car into a retaining wall and the officers were able to apprehend him.

Now he is sentenced to prison without ever having the possibility of parole.

And now in at number 3 we have a prisoner who attempted to escape through a toilet?

I know this doesn't sound like the most glamourous way to escape

but I guess prison makes you pretty desperate.

This must be the most optimistic prisoner on the planet because I don't see how he

ever thought that he would be able to escape through this gross communal toilet.

After spending some time head deep in some pretty disgusting waste, he realizes that

he can't squeeze his way through this shit hole (beep out swearing) and the man is pulled

back up by his cell mates.

I have so many questions about this prison.

What kind of disgusting prison has a corner for a toilet?

And secondly, why do these inmates have cellphones?

Couldn't they call someone from the outside to help them escape?

My eyes are scarred so let's move on.

El Chapo digs himself into our number 2 spot.

Joaquin Guzman is one of the most notorious drug lords of all time and he is also considered

to be the most powerful drug trafficker in the world.

He was arrested by the Mexican Authorities but he managed to escape prison after he bribed

some prison guards to open his cell door.

Six months after his escape, he was recaptured and because his escape humiliated police officials,

they had promised that he would never escape prison again.

Well, as it turns out…they were wrong.

As you guys saw, El Chapo was sitting in his cell when all of a sudden he walks over to

his shower area and disappeared.

Upon

further investigation, the police found a 2x2 foot hole underneath the shower that led

to an elaborate tunnel that was almost a mile long.

The tunnel had lighting, ventilation and a motorcycle.

He managed to remain free for about three years before he was recaptured.

Now, he lives in a very restricted cell with no windows and he can't talk to any other

inmates or even his own family.

Number 1 brings us to the great Canadian helicopter escape.

This has to be the craziest prison escape that I have ever seen.

These two inmates escaped from a Quebec Prison back in 2013 and the whole escape was caught

on video.

They had two outside accomplices who managed to hijack a helicopter and force the pilot

to fly to the jail.

we can see the two inmates climbing up the rope in order to get to the roof where the

helicopter was waiting.

However, one of them had difficulty climbing the rope so they both just hung on as the

helicopter took off.

I know this sounds like an epic escape, but they struggled so hard.

I wonder why the police weren't able to stop them because it took them so long to

actually leave the jail.

Well, as it turns out, just a few hours later they police were able to find these inmates

and arrest them.

And during a statement, the union president said that the guards were unable to interfere

with the helicopter escape because its only in the movies where you can shoot down a helicopter

with a gun.

Well there you guys have it

Improve Your Comprehension On the Go with Podcasts and Audiobooks - Duration: 7:32.

Hi everyone! Abbe here, your English teacher at MosaLingua.

Today, I'd like to show you even more tools

for practicing your English in your spare time.

This time, let's look at some activities you can do while you're on the move.

Before we go any further, make sure you are subscribed to our YouTube channel

Also, turn on your notifications so that you don't miss out on any of our upcoming language learning hacks.

I've already talked several times about using movies TV or series

and other videos in English to improve your listening comprehension skills.

The only problem with this approach is that you have to stay seated in one place

until the video is over which can become a problem if you travel a lot or if you

have a very busy work schedule. You might not always have access to a television

or a computer but there are surely some spare moments during your day when you

have some extra time like during your commute to work

or while you're exercising.

Now what if I told you that you could use this spare time as an

opportunity to immerse yourself in English.

Since almost everyone nowadays has a smartphone, this is totally possible using podcasts and audiobooks.

For those of you who don't know what these are,

they are both recordings that you can store in your mobile device

and play whenever you want to.

Podcasts are usually shows that are similar

to what you might hear on the radio,

while audiobooks are entire books

that have been read out loud and recorded.

Podcasts are ideal for beginners

because many are specifically designed for English learners

and feature things like slower pronunciation and adapted vocabulary and grammar.

There are also plenty of "regular podcasts" on all sorts of topics,

so you're sure to find at least one that interests you.

Usually the level of English for "regular podcasts" is suitable for intermediate learners.

Although beginners who are very motivated might also be able to

understand them, especially if a transcript is available online.

Initially designed for people who are blind or visually impaired

or people who don't have time to read books on paper, audiobooks or books on tape,

are also great for language learners who want to work on their listening comprehension.

Audiobooks are generally best for more advanced learners

depending on the book, so be sure you choose according to your level. Podcasts and audiobooks are

available straight from your mobile device and more often than not they're

free. For those of you who use Apple a podcast application comes already

downloaded on your device. You can search from among the hundreds of podcasts

available, load and play. It's as easy as that!

For Android users, I recommend applications like TuneIn or podcast addict.

and these work in the same way that I just described. Similarly you can

search, download and play audiobooks on your Apple device using the iBooks app.

Use the filter to search for audiobooks only. The app Audible is also an

excellent source for audiobooks and is available on Android and iOS.

You can also explore the content of the app LibriVox which has thousands of free audiobooks.

Check with your local library to see if they offer downloadable audiobooks.

My library has a pretty wide selection and of course borrowing them is free.

You might need to download a special app such as Overdrive in order

to listen to these audiobooks. Now there are a few things you need to know before

downloading your first podcast or audiobook. You need to remember that

there are tons of these out there, and not all of them will be right for your

level or your interests. It might be smart to start with a

podcast that is dedicated to English learners, and if you understand that one

easily then you can move on to a regular podcast. In the description of this video

down below you'll find a link to our list of the best podcasts for learning English.

Of course you don't have to limit yourself to these. Once you feel

comfortable, go ahead and explore other podcasts about your interests or hobbies.

The same goes for audiobooks. As I said earlier these are usually best for

intermediate to advanced learners. If you do decide to take on this challenge

I recommend going for a book that is better suited to language learners

like "the little prince" or the first Harry Potter book. Another good option is to

pick a book that you have already read and enjoyed in your native language.

Since you're already familiar with the plot you'll be able to focus on the

language and really improving your comprehension skills.

I also recommend choosing a book that is fairly short to start or a book that

does not have tons and tons of characters and different plot lines.

Once again down below you'll find a link to an article on our blog that lists

some of the best audiobooks for English language learners. One last piece of advice:

while you're listening, be sure to use the pause and rewind buttons

whenever you feel that it's necessary. The more you repeat an expression

the more likely you are to remember it. And if you still find it too hard to

understand, feel free to reduce the audio speed.

There's usually a button in your app or music player that allows you to reduce

the speed to 0.75 or even point 0.5, the normal speed. 0.75 is usually perfect and

you'll see listening to English content can be easy and enjoyable. That's it for

this video, I hope you found it useful. So what are you waiting for? Put in your earbuds,

get moving and start learning a language today. And remember, consistency

and regularity are paramount if you want to make progress in English.

If you're watching on Facebook or Instagram, make sure you like our page or follow us,

to make sure you don't miss out on the latest language learning hacks, tips and news from MosaLingua.

Take care and I'll see you soon!

Brighter Image Lab Review! Her smile is AMAZING! MUST SEE RESULTS! - Duration: 17:58.

hey everyone so today's video is going to be an update on my press-on veneers

and let's take these off there's a glare okay so I am still talking a little bit funny

because right after my last video I sent my bottoms back in to have some

adjustments done to them and I actually just got my bottoms back today so I'm

trying to get used to everything and let me just say that whenever I first put

the bottom arch in because those are the ones that I had work done to I freaked

out and I was like they would not stay in my mouth at all like I could do this

and they would just like rattle then let's see it was like at probably nine

o'clock in the morning okay so I went back like three different times trying

to put them in my mouth and they just would not stay and so like around

one o'clock I went back in there and I was finally going to put they send you

these they're like adhesive dots and it's like to make them a fit better to

your teeth or whatever and I really didn't want to have to use them I just

wanted to be able to pop them in my mouth and they fit you know and so I was

like okay well let me put them in my mouth one more time and I'm going to see

like you know put them in there and kind of move them around see where I think I

need to put the dots and whenever I put them in they fit

I was like what the heck and so the only thing that I can really think of is that

whenever I originally took my impressions I took them at night and they

say that your teeth swell throughout the day and so I guess maybe my veneers fit

better like later on in the day then first thing in the morning because I

mean my other ones never did that but in all honesty

I probably never tried them on super early in the morning because I sleep

late I'm not a morning person and like whenever I get up I drink coffee and I

lay in the bed and watch YouTube videos and comment on everybody's stuff and

answer people's comments so I usually don't really get moving until about 11

or 12 o'clock but I never ever noticed my other bottom arch doing

that and so I emailed the company and I was like these are way too big blah blah blah

I mean I wasn't rude about it but I was freaking out because I mean I was

excited to get them back you know and and then they didn't fit and I was just

like crushed you know so anyways a few hours later they email me back

and they were like you know we'll send you another kit you'll have to redo your

impressions that's the only thing I can think of and I was like well let's hold

off on it because they're fitting now and I was like let's just wait a few

days and see what happens so I'll have to do another update video after

this I mean or I'll just like tell you in a regular video that I ended up

keeping them my feet are going to sleep but anyways I know I say anyways and like a

lot okay for any of you trolls that want to like comment about it in the comment

section so yeah some things that I want to tell you about the press in veneers

are that you know I get asked a lot if you can eat with them and the company

says that you can eat with them but the thing is that you're not supposed to eat

hard foods with them and if you do eat with them then you're supposed to rinse

them out right after you get through eating because food

can you know get my behind them and if you don't rinse them out and then that craps

just going to be sitting on your teeth and as far as drinking goes they say

that you can drink with them I'm not I can't remember if they say that you're

supposed to like rinse your mouth out after you get through drinking but I

suggest that you do if you're drinking anything besides like water because and

this is just in my theory in my opinion whatever you want to call it so if

you're drinking something like acidic or something colored it's going to get

behind the veneers because like spit gets behind them and like I

don't know if you can hear that but anyways that's like the sound of me sucking

the spit out from behind them so yeah if you're drinking anything

with like color to it or like you know with like lemon juice or anything like

that that would cause like discoloration or erosion to your teeth

I would suggest after you get through drinking that to rinse them out or not

drink anything other than water I don't drink anything other than water whenever

I have mine in because I don't want to cause damage to my teeth and I don't

feel like taking them out that much to rinse them and things like that so

that's I mean because your teeth like I said are going to be sitting in that and

that's not good for your teeth I don't think it is anyways but that's just me

saying that the adjustments that they made come on was like there was a spot

that was like kicked out right here and whenever I talk to my mouth would get

hung up on it I don't think this is the same arch I think that they made it

completely new because like this side right here is different like this

side right here it used to cup down like this on my

teeth and now it's not like that anymore and and this is another thing that they

did see like remember how like on my last ones this right here came down like ew I

got spit on me anyways this whole thing came down like halfway behind the teeth

and whenever I would talk my tongue we get caught up on it a lot and so what

and plus I have like a crooked tooth right there and it was really thick right

there because of that crooked tooth and so they cut some of that out so it would

make it easier for me to talk and they also brought this stuff like down

further down behind my teeth so I think that the only things that got changed

about it that I can tell yeah it's staying in there now it's so weird like how

freakishly loose it was this morning and now it's fitting perfectly fine so

another question that I get asked a lot is how long did it take from the time

that I ordered the veneers for me to get them okay so the day that I ordered the

veneers it took about I think it took about

three or four days to get the kit to do the impressions and I sent my

impressions in the very next day and

from that day it took roughly about a month I think to get my veneers in so

yeah another thing that I wanted to talk about in this video is like the ad for

the press-on veneers is always showing up on my Facebook and I usually try to

like answer people's questions and that even though I'm not like obligated to

because I am not in any way paid by that company I know that people keep saying

oh you seem like you're not paid by the company and I'm not I don't know any

other way to put it but like no I'm not paid by them I just am speaking from my

own experience I guess and like whenever I answer questions like on their posts on

Facebook and stuff like that it's like I don't like some of the questions on

there are crazy to me because like Brighter Image Lab they shared this

their link and it's like a picture of this mouth and it has like duct tape

over it and saying something like you don't like your smile or something like

that I've got like little press-on veneers sitting to the side everybody

comments on it and they're like how much do these cost I need a phone number can

somebody please answer me like what are some other questions like how do I find

out more information on this that thing that you're commenting on is literally a

link and all you have to do is click the picture and it'll take you straight to

their website or you could just google Brighter Image Lab and it will take you

and you can go to their website like that I don't I mean I don't mean to pick

on people but like how do you use Facebook and not know that but I

don't know there are people out there so but like even though people are asking

crazy questions like that I still like try to be nice and answer

them and whatever but and like somebody said something on there the other day

about so you're just going to put these like over rotten teeth and just let your

teeth continue to rot my teeth I've shown y'all what my teeth look like

without these in and mine are not rotten I just I did not want to get braces so I

got these I want to throw in here that and this is another thing that is just

in my opinion and like something that I have like seen you know my

observation whatever if you already have like big teeth or if you have like buck

teeth or I'm not trying to be rude by saying that but like if your teeth are

already kind of like I don't know just like big or overcrowded or I don't know

just anything like that and you order the press-on veneers and then you want

to be one of these people that are like oh my god these things made me look like

I had horse teeth blah blah blah if you look on their website it shows you in

fact let me just bring it up okay so I'm about to show you like this is on their

website so this shows that it's going to be a little bit bigger than your regular

tooth it's going to be a little bit thicker and all of that so with that being

said if you already have like rather large teeth or anything like that it's

going to make them look a little bit bigger so you need to keep that in mind

if you're thinking about getting them because I have like a strong feeling

that like the people that are saying that it made them look like they had

horse teeth that they had you know they probably had like big teeth or like

overcrowded teeth or anything like that already so you know just think about it

how much do they cost go to their website

scroll down and it's right there

another question is everybody's like well how do you know if you're going to

get a good impression if you don't go to the dentist they actually have on their

page they have this right here it's a video and you click it and they show you

how to take a proper impression I also have like tips from whenever I did my

impression that you can watch that as well so one more thing that I want to

touch on before I end this video is like I had seen where one girl had got

the press-on veneers and she got them strictly to take like pretty pictures

for Instagram I suggest that if you are going to do that that you go with like

a cheaper option especially if you're just wanting them for pictures because I don't know

it seems a bit overkill to me but you do you you know whatever I'm just trying to

help you out like to save money or whatever so like a cheaper option would

be to get like the pageant flippers and I found this company and they're really

nice people I talked to them quite a bit one day like asking about their product

and things like that they suggest that you don't eat or drink with them that

they're strictly for like you know taking pictures pageant wise you know

like trying to look pretty or whatever in a picture I think that they also do

like if you're like trying to get some like weird teeth made for like a

costume or whatever I think that they also do stuff like that too they do not

do bottom arches for adults because of like the whole lisp problem

and so the name of the company is unity smiles I actually have brought it up

let's see so the pricing is like it's $25 for an adult

impression kit and it's a hundred and ninety five dollars for an adult pageant

flipper like so that means for the top arch so twenty-five dollars for the

impression kit and one hundred ninety five dollars for the arch it says that

they should not be used to cover decayed or broken down teeth to wear all day

while eating or drinking so you don't use it for any of that stuff is what

they say that's what they claim so yeah so if you wanted to just get that to

take like pretty pictures then you know that would be like a different route to

go just like go to their website and check it out and you know that might be

a cheaper option for you if that's what you're looking for

alright then I think I have answered everything today but if there's anything

I left out just feel free to ask me in the comment section I try to always

answer back on Instagram I answer back pretty quickly as well I will be making

another video soon just like to let you know if I ended up

keeping these bottoms or whatever so yeah I guess that's it I got to go to put my

hair up it's driving me crazy today so I'll show you another close-up of my

teeth before we go

all right and if my lighting seems a bit off it's because one of my lighting one of

my lights messed up so I only have two today so I will talk to you guys later

bye

Top 10 Prison Escapes CAUGHT On Camera - Duration: 11:28.

Are Politicians Legally Required To UNBLOCK Twitter Followers? - Duration: 2:09.

We're back on Ring of Fire.

I'm Farron Cousins and we're going over to Twitter right now to take some viewer questions.

If you have a question for us you can send it using the hashtag ask ROF, or you can send

it directly to us as a direct message either at Ring of Fire Radio or you can send it to

me at Farron balanced.

Our first question tonight is from @P_McEnroe who says, "Someone just tweeted me and said

that Ted Cruz blocked her.

Isn't that illegal because of the ruling that stated that Donald Trump can't block people

while POTUS?"

Luckily Ted Cruz is not the President of the United States.

Unfortunately Donald Trump is.

There is actually a big different between that though.

Just for the distinction, the reason Donald Trump is not allowed to block people on Twitter

is because they have determined that Donald Trump's tweets are official declarations of

the President of the United States.

As a result of that, because of that, every American citizen is entitled to see them,

hear them, whatever it is, those are official statements.

We have the right to see them, therefore he cannot block people on Twitter from having

access to them.

Ted Cruz as not the President, does not fall under that.

His tweets are not protected, they're not part of the Presidential Records Act to be

preserved and saved, something that everybody has access to.

Ted Cruz's tweets are just the rantings of a crazy man who's getting desperate about

his upcoming reelection that he is very likely to lose.

So if your friend was blocked by Ted Cruz, I say go ahead and wear that as a badge of

honor.

Nothing illegal about it.

All that means, is that you don't have to see all the daily stupid stuff coming out

of the mouth of Ted Cruz, all of the lies that he's tweeting out, which basically on

par with the President at this point.

So if Ted Cruz blocked you, I envy you, I would love nothing more than to not have to

look at his tweets.

But unfortunately sometimes it's like a car wreck.

You know it's bad, you know it's awful, you know it's wrong.

But you just gotta see what happened.

'Cause we're gonna be jealous, selfish

Making life a living hell

You've never felt so alone

Night after night

You'll stay awake

When I don't pick up the phone

A thousand times

I'll let you down

So bring your jeans and old CDs don't second-guess

Sounds good to me

Mark Normand - Everything's Tense - Duration: 5:01.

Got to be very PC now. Those PC words.

I'm all about progress, but why does adding syllables

to a word make it less offensive, you know?

Used to be "stupid," now it's "learning disabled."

Used to be "retarded," now it's "mentally gay" or whatever, huh?

(laughter)

Can't keep up with the PC, you know?

It's all just a gesture.

None of it means anything.

Like, some PC, I like, like Native American, that's good.

He's not from India, why are we calling him Indian?

Native American, great. I'll say that.

But, like, African-American, I feel weird saying.

I don't have African-American friends, I have black friends.

I don't have Caucasian friends, I have relatives.

(laughter)

None of it adds up.

Where are all the African-Canadians?

Why don't we say that?

Black people are born in Canada every day.

We don't know what the hell we're saying anymore.

We'll be like, "Idris Elba is an amazing African-American actor."

Well, he's British.

What the... hell are we doing?

(laughter)

It's just white people. We're nervous.

We don't know what to say. We're scared.

We don't want to get fired. We don't want to offend.

You could corner a white guy in the sidewalk now

with a microphone, a video camera,

like, "What color is Ray Charles?"

He'd be like, "Uh, he's blind."

(laughter)

"Well, what's his ethnicity?" "Piano player."

"Well, what color is his skin?"

"I got kids, man. Leave me alone."

We're terrified.

Come into my home now and watch the Discovery Channel,

I'm like, "Hey, it's a great white shark."

"Mediocre white. We're not all great."

"I'm sorry."

But racism is alive and well, man.

I was just down in, uh, Knoxville, Tennessee.

You guys ever been there?

(whistles) What a shithole. Holy hell.

They are 30 years behind over there.

You ever go to a town so small, they're still racist toward certain white people?

You know? They're like, "Hey, watch out over there."

"That's where the dirty Irish live."

I was like, "Jesus Christ."

You guys haven't made it to black people yet?

(laughter)

My God, you're far behind.

I live in New York. We're past Arabs, let's go.

(laughter and applause)

Pick it up, come on.

Oh.

Yeah. Being racist now, very risky.

You lose your job, you get ostracized from society,

you make headlines.

That's why if anyone's ever racist around you now,

you know they trust you.

It's kind of this weird, bittersweet moment, you know?

You're on a smoke break with somebody, he's like,

"Oh, man, I can't stand Mexicans."

You're like, "Holy hell, you're full of hate,

but I didn't know we were so close."

Jesus Christ.

I feel like racism and smoking are a lot alike, you know?

Like, in the 50s, everybody did it.

Now we know it's bad, we're trying to cut back,

but some people just can't quit.

We should treat racists the way we treat smokers.

Now you're at your day job, some guy's about to tell a racist joke.

You're like, "Hey... take that shit outside, huh?"

Just a bunch of guys out in the cold,

"Oh, goddamned Jews, huh? R-r-r-r-r-r."

"If I don't take those racist breaks, I get cranky."

Then they go to restaurants,

"How you folks doing? You want the racist section

or the non-racist?"

"Well, we've had a few drinks. Better go racist."

"All right, well, it's your funeral."

"The kitchen is heavily Hispanic."

Well, that's where we're at now.

Everything's... tense.

White privilege, that's a term you hear a lot now, white privilege.

I was at a grocery store with a friend of mine, black guy,

I stole a candy bar. I love to steal.

I get a real rush from stealing.

Yeah. I love stealing.

What do you call it when you like to steal?

What's the word for that?

Clepto, yes.

What's the one where you have sex with dead bodies?

(laughter)

Necrophilia, yes. I'm that, too.

So, yeah, yeah...

So, yeah, I steal the candy bar, I get outside,

I'm all proud of myself.

My friend goes, "Ah, white privilege, white privilege."

I was like, "What? No, this was a robbery."

(laughter)

"If I had gotten caught then gotten away with it, that would be white priv--

this was me being an amazing thief, right?"

And he was like, "No, no, it's white privilege

because the guy didn't follow you around the store,

he followed me around the store."

And I was like, "Well, yeah, that's why I brought you."

Come on.

Yeah.

Oh.

Yeah.

Man.

This wasn't diversity, this was a diversion.

(laughter)

But, you know, we gotta keep up with the lingo, PC.

The whole PC thing just feels very phony to me.

It feels bullshit.

Like, you can tell PC's kind of bullshit

'cause you never use those words in emergency.

There's too many syllables.

People are hurt, you gotta help 'em.

You don't have time to be progressive.

You gotta save some lives.

Like, if you see a Chinese guy get into a car accident

and run over a black guy, you can't be like,

"Oh, my God, officer, come quick."

"There's been a terrible tragedy."

"An Asian-American man got into a car accident--

"not 'cause they're bad drivers--

"and, uh, he ran over an African-American gentleman

"who was crossing the street slowly--

"not 'cause they do that-- and, uh...

"you gotta come quick, the guy's really hurt.

"He's drowning in a pool of his own blood--

not 'cause they can't swim."

(laughter)

Now the guy's dead. You killed him.

Thanks a lot.

Thoughts on the Morioh Warriors - Duration: 11:45.

[Introduction] So, Part 5 right around the corner, I believe

that I should be doing some DIU videos before I massively dedicate a lot of time to our

newest animated Part.

The one of the many things I see the fans love are these types of videos where I give

all my thoughts on the characters at hand so I'm going to be doing that here with

the Morioh Warriors.

Josuke and Jotaro won't be here because they're in my Joestar video and if I'm

missing someone, most likely I don't have much to say on them or I have something remotely

soon planned.

So, onto our first ally.

[Koichi] Koichi is a cool character and personally,

he's my indicator that DiU is not a fully protagonist based anime.

It's odd that I'm saying this because all of JoJo doesn't fully just focus on

the protagonist except for Battle Tendency, but there's percentages to it if anything.

DiU gave so much to Koichi and Kira in specific in my opinion and I love it all for the better.

Koichi's development throughout the part is probably the most evident for people, but

there's a lot more to that development than the face value approach.

I think the easiest thing to refer to is Meti's video on Koichi.

I'll put up a card for it.

For what I love or what I think about when I think of the character, wrath and Echoes.

Each time that I see Koichi move on into a new Act, I love seeing the raw emotion that

we get from it.

Echoes Act 3 is probably my all-time favorite moments for Koichi, including when he was

trying to finally destroy Kira, but he ended up getting smacked up immediately.

It was a great time.

Also, since I won't be able to connect this over since there isn't going to be an excerpt

here on the trinity of the Morioh Warriors, I'm going to be talking about that dynamic.

Josuke, Koichi, and Okuyasu is a group that I would be fine with if they had some sort

of OVA type deal going about Morioh in the original Slice of Life way that they were

going about.

Like just having little talks here and there, checking up on each other and backing each

other up for everything.

It's so fun to see it all!

I think the best showing of that all is when they were in the Yukako arc where they were

all pretty involved with each other.

I know that a lot of people aren't with the neutral area of DiU, but to be honest

with you, I rest pretty easy with all of that.

I could go for a lot more of it too, if it doesn't mess with the main plot.

[Okuyasu] Now there's Okuyasu!

I think for those that are subbed already that know my interest with the character.

The easiest thing I've shown for my interest was my character study on him.

I want to say I want to talk about what doesn't relate to his brother, but a lot of his character

is due to his huge connection with Keicho.

Though I will say that I love who he became after finally following his own direction

and letting Keicho rest.

We also see the first sign of him utilizing The Hand with how he completely disabled Kira.

It would've been so cool to see him do a bit more after.

I just wish that we had DiU adapted into a separate series of manga that runs completely

different than our regular one does.

[Yukako] Then, there's Yukako.

The obvious thing here would be to go about how insane her love is for Koichi, and I really

do want to talk about her in a different light, but I can't think of that much off what

I've seen.

Obviously, something to go about is how threatening she is and that's always something that

people love.

But aside from that, there isn't that much.

She's a very strong girl and I actually believe that I'd like to see her better

positions for story, it would be nice to see her own fights against enemy stand users or

something like that, but probably not going to happen.

The good thing about this though is that I know that Araki knows when to elaborate on

characters.

No spoilers here, but maybe this elaborate doesn't take place in DiU.

Maybe… it's a lot different.

Completely unrelated topic…

I have a lot to say on Jojolion characters.

[Rohan] Now on Rohan!

With my reasonably large amount of involvement in art, my love in Rohan grew a lot bigger

than when I had first seen him or when I had first covered him in his character analysis.

Even when it was still pretty big.

The strides taken and the lengths he goes to push for his motives is amazing to me.

Also, with his life already being happening, and still having an end-game to it, it makes

a lot of sense that we would have the whole Thus Spoke Rohan Kishibe series and his other

one-shots.

There's so much to work with for his character and it's more so about changing up his environment

while still retaining the Rohan that we have.

His One-Shots were a want that I had when finishing up DiU and when I found out about

them, I just got even more involved in his character than before.

He's such a lively character and while a lot of his emotions aren't exactly nice,

I love him for it.

His most notable thing for me must be his ambition and passion for when he talks about

his art or being right.

I think that's more of a common thing in general with me though so I'm probably more

biased than the average person.

The feeling of seeing someone talk about what they're most passionate about is probably

one of the best things ever for me.

The raw emotion you see from it, and I'm not sure what's the wording for it because

they can even talk about the bad areas of what they like, and it all sounds positive.

There's when Rohan was explaining his motives to Koichi and Hazmada, Rohan against Highway

Star, Rohan against the butler kid in Thus Spoke Rohan Kishibe and I think I could mention

more, but if you don't read up on the other ones it wouldn't make sense so I'll just

keep that off for now for when I do make a video recommending it all.

I also need to talk to Viz or something about serializing it and all the parts, because

man, people want to buy manga.

That's probably enough for Rohan, if you want to hear more, there's my character

analysis on him and honestly that's one of my more favorite videos.

Not cause the content, cause it's Rohan.

[Shigechi] I had a choice of which characters I wanted

to mention here, so the next one is Shigechi.

One common thing I see that people talk about with Shigechi is how much they don't like

him.

I understand that seeing Shigechi be selfish is messed up to those watching it from Josuke

and Okuyasu's perspective, but you have to think about this.

Their first couple of thoughts on Shigechi was about how could they use him and his stand

Harvest to get financial benefits, to say more than necessary.

Though I will say that Shigechi's wrath is a bit over the top when going against them,

so I can't reason on why that's fine obviously, because it is.

Though why it happens is most likely off the fact that Shigechi is an extremely lonely

kid and most likely he's one that got bullied before.

There's a reason why our first instance of seeing him is him sitting alone with Harvest.

Personally, I think that's what Araki was truly going for when making Shigechi.

Making him one of those bullied types while also making him an extremely prominent stand

user doesn't look too out of the ordinary.

Especially when Yukako was made to show that even with what she believes in being more

circulated around love, she shouldn't be one to undermine.

For what happened to Shigechi, I genuinely thought that this was a sad moment.

The fight for life in defense of his own family and putting that together with his reliance

on the only person or people he sees as a close friend or friends.

Then it all being ended by one of the hardest predictions in the show.

[Tonio] The last character is going to be Tonio off

the weight of his character in Thus Spoke Rohan Kishibe.

With Pearl Jam, my general understanding of the stand is that you'll need the required

ingredients to be able to treat specific ailments.

You can't just cure stuff with run of the mill ingredients.

That being said, I want to describe what happens in Episode 6, but at that point I'm just

spoiling so you might as well just read it.

He's a very determined and loving person, there's a lot more to his character than

we see in Part 4.

The arc itself isn't enough to fully go about his character, so I highly suggest Episode

6 of Thus Spoke Rohan Kishibe along with the whole series.

Though I think that'll be enough for me.

[Outro] Thank you all for watching!

I think the biggest take-away from this is probably anything Rohan-related.

Though what I loved about making this video is not having that much to say about characters

I've already covered on

the channel.

If I don't get what I want to say about a character out, you'll see me talk a lot

about them in these types of videos.

So!

Probably expect more Hunter stuff alone with Part 5.

Hopefully, I'll see you all in the next one!

Until then, peace out and God speed.

Can Fake News Believers Be Saved? - Duration: 4:37.

Let's go to Twitter now for some questions.

If you have a question that you want to send to us here at Ring of Fire, send it using

the #askrof.

Our first question tonight comes from Rough Wanderer who asks, "@farronbalanced, big fan

of your commentary.

Start my day listening to you."

Thank you very much, appreciate it.

"One question, how can I convince my conservative and moderate friends and family to believe

your news reporting and other independent news sources?

I try explaining, but massive uphill battle."

One of the things that we do at Ring of Fire is we make sure that every single video that

we do has a source link, so that people can go back for themselves, verify it, make sure

that we didn't take something out of context.

That's one thing that we personally do to make sure that everybody understands that

we're not just making this up.

Now obviously, some people say, "How do we know that that source didn't make things up?"

Usually, if you're using a good source, they have other sources.

Then, of course, you run into the question, how do we know they're not making stuff up?

Some people, and I almost hate to say this.

Some people are unreachable.

They really are.

There are some people that are unfortunately too far gone that no matter what kinds of

facts, figures, statistics you put in front of them, they're not going to believe them.

If you think I'm wrong about that, then just look at the issue of climate change.

We have all of the scientific data available telling us that this is happening, and that

human beings are making it worse, yet in spite of all that information you still have too

many people in this country willing to say, "You know what, I don't believe that.

I don't believe those scientists.

They're just in it for themselves trying to make a quick buck off the planet," as if that

makes any kind of sense.

Yes, there are some that are unreachable.

For the people that are reachable, expand their horizons for them.

Help them.

If they don't want to go out and actively seek these independent news outlets and independent

reporting, give it to them.

Send them a link every now and then.

The main sources of news that I use are Raw Story, Common Dreams, Truth Out and Think

Progress, reliable, reputable, haven't ever given me a reason to not believe what they

have to say.

Now there's plenty of others.

There's lots that I use every day, but those are my four go to.

My fingers almost instinctively start typing in those addresses when I get on the computer,

but it is difficult.

I understand your dilemma here.

My in-laws, very hardcore, right-wing, anti-Democrat Republicans.

I throw in the anti-Democrat because there is a difference between just being like, "No,

I'm a Republican," and being an anti-Democrat Republican.

You don't reach people like that, you can't.

You won't change their mind.

There's not much you can do because there is too much tribalism.

Now to be honest, there's plenty of those on the left as well.

How do you walk that fine line?

You do research, but if people aren't willing to do the research themselves, then there's

not much you can do.

The old expression, "You could lead a horse to water, but you can't make him drink."

It's kind of what it is right now with the information age.

Everything you could ever possibly want to know is available online.

It just depends on which parts of the internet you're looking at.

If you're going to Daily Caller, or Breitbart, or Zero Hedge, you're not going to get accurate

news, but people are going to believe what they read there.

If you go to left-leaning sites, you're going to get a lot more truth than you would from

somewhere else, but it is going to have a liberal slant, which is immediately going

to turn off those anti-Democrat Republicans.

Sometimes it's best to not worry about it.

You can do what you can do.

You can share these stories.

You can get them out there.

You can send links.

You can back it up with research, but if they choose to not accept it at that point, then

you may be fighting an uphill battle that actually has no end.

Your time would be better served trying to reach people who want to learn.

That's the difference.

They have to want it because if they don't, not much you can do in that situation.

Is Jake Paul A Sociopath? - Duration: 6:44.

Jake paul is one of the most well-known youtube personalities on this platform.

He is incredibly influential, he has 17 million subscribers.

He is also one of the most polarizing out of all youtubers.

You either love him or you hate him, which is one of the reasons why Shane Dawson decided

to make a docuseries on him, which attempts to unearth a side to jake paul that the public

doesn't necessarily know.

In episode two of the docuseries, shane explores the possibility of Jake Paul being a sociopath.

Sociopaths are another term for someone with antisocial personality disorder.

According to psychologists, Someone with antisocial personality disorder is not empathic, as in

they can't understand the feelings of others.

Sociopaths are manipulative, where they play mind games to control the people close to

them, or even complete strangers.

They have no regard for the rules, and often push the limits of what's acceptable.

Sounds a lot like someone we know.

So, could it be possible that jake paul, a youtuber with 17 million loyal subscribers,

could fit into that category?

Today, what if life's biggest questions asks, is Jake Paul a sociopath?

Hello and welcome back to life's biggest questions.

I'm charlotte dobre.

This is where I ask you to like and subscribe and ask us a question in the comments below.

As you might already know from Shane Dawson's documentary, sociopaths are actually quite

common.

1 in 25 people are sociopaths.

That means someone you know is a sociopath, or, plot twist, maybe the sociopath is you.

Its important to note that sociopaths are extremely likeable people.

They are charismatic, charming and agreeable, which is why it's really hard to tell if

someone you know is a sociopath.

The sociopath in your social circle might turn out to be the person you least expect.

So, let's do our own diagnosis of jake paul using these 7 points.

Those with antisocialpersonality disorder can only receive a diagnosis if they are over

18, and they show a consistent pattern of these behaviors.

Number one, a sociopath doesn't respect social norms or laws.

They often break the rules that society has laid out with little regard for what might

happen to them.

Jake paul has documented some questionable behaviour on his channel.

In 2017, his neighbors in Beverly grove were meeting with city council members and police

on the possibility of filing a class action law suit against him for being a public nuisance.

This came after repeated issues with jake's fans gathering outside his house, noise complaints

and setting furniture on fire.

Jake also once secretly recorded a conversation on the doorstep of a neighbour he upset, but

in California, its only private conversations that are not allowed to be recorded.

But the neighbour didn't press charges.

At this time, Jake Paul does not have a criminal record.

That could change in the future, but other than being a bad neighbour and a public nuisance,

Jake doesn't necessarily break the law to the degree where he could be considered a

sociopath.

And the LAPD, after responding to complaints about him, said that Jake paul hadn't been

cited because he hadn't broken any laws.

Moving on to Number two.

Sociopaths lie, constantly deceive others, may even act under false identities and they

often use others for their own personal gain.

We do know that jake paul has been known to lie, and publicly too.

For example, Back in august of 2017, He lost 60 thousand followers after he accused faze

banks of assaulting his assistant Megan.

Faze banks said he would sue jake and team 10 for defamation of character and slander,

so it seems like jake paul lied about this assault to start youtube drama.

So yes, jake paul lies, but then again, a lot of people lie.

A lot of youtubers lie for the purpose of creating controversy.

Just because you lie, that doesn't mean you are a sociopath, otherwise, we would all

be sociopaths.

Moving on to Number 3, Sociopaths don't plan ahead.

They behave without thinking and are often spontaneous.

Jake paul definitely appears to be spontaneous.

He is constantly behaving in ways that people don't expect because it attracts a lot of

attention, and its one of the reason why his subscribers find his vlogs so entertaining.

That being said, jake likely does plan out a lot of what he says and does.

Its pretty hard to be a YouTuber and not be very calculated about what you choose to put

on the internet.

Number 4.

A sociopath doesn't consider their own safety, or the safety of others.

Jake paul often terrorizes the people who live in the team 10 house.

Pranks and stunts are a regular part of living with jake paul.

A sociopath might also be someone who's cruel to other people and animals.

WE know that jake paul has been unneccesarily mean to many of the people who have left team

ten.

Allisa violet claims he assaulted her numerous times, and he bullied and terrorized the Martinez

twins, sometimes making racist remarks about their Spanish heritage.

The pranks he chooses to pull on his house mates are borderline cruel, but most of the

time they end in laughter.

As far as we know though, jake paul is not cruel to his animals.

Logan paul on the other hand…show video of him tazing dead rats.

Number 6.

Sociopaths don't care about their personal responsibilities.

Someone who doesn't learn from their mistakes.

An example of this is someone who doesn't pay their bills on time or someone who is

late for everything important.

Jake paul makes millions of dollars.

As far as we know, jake paul does pay his bills on time even though rent for the house

in Beverly Grove was more than 17 thousand dollars a month.

According to reports, jake paul was being sued by his former landlord, but for damage,

not over a rent dispute.

And since he moved into a new 7 million dollar mansion in Calabasas, jake paul hasn't been

getting into much trouble with his neighbours.

And lastly, Number 7, a sociopath feels no guilt or remorse for the harm they have caused

other people.

When jake paul messes up and causes controversy, he does apologise.

Whether or not those apologies are genuine remains to be seen.

Sociopaths mimic acceptable behaviour, so he could be apologising because that's what

he thinks is the acceptable thing to do, not because he actually cares.

But then, would a sociopath care about what other people think in the first place?

Again, probably not.

Murderers and other criminals are often sociopaths.

They display violent behaviour, and don't feel remorse or guilt.

Jake paul might be annoying and kind of a jerk, but I don't think that we can put

him in the same category as a major criminal.

Jake paul has insisted that he isn't a sociopath in a video he uploaded to his channel called,

please watch this before watching shane dawsons series.

In this video, jake paul expressed that he didn't want to do the docuseries at first

because he didn't want shane dawson to get flack for it.

A sociopath wouldn't care about that, a sociopath would welcome the idea of a docuseries.

Its important to note that jake paul is not a well liked person.

Much of the youtube community dislikes him, much of the media also dislikes him.

Canada's national post called him 'a moronic menace to society'.

Mashable once called him 'an absolute terror.

And the publication deadspin said he was the worst person on earth.

Even though his behaviour can appear charming to some, he's not what most would call a

'likeable' person.

That's one of the reasons why shane dawson chose to make a docuseries on him in the first

place.

Jake paul is a controversial internet personality for a reason.

And furthermore, we don't know what jake paul is actually like.

The persona that he chooses to put forth on the internet isn't necessarily what he's

like in real life.

Even though he might display certain personality traits and behaviours that could appear sociopathic,

he could be very different in real life.

Well, there you have it, did you agree with us?

Did you not?

Let us know, do you think jake paul is a sociopath?

For now I'm charlotte dobre and you've been watching life's biggest questions.

SCANDAL INVESTIGATION! Feinstein And Friends Are Not Laughing Now , "They Have Betrayed Her" - Duration: 7:18.

The Supreme Court Justice nomination process has been a disaster.

Especially given the divisive nature of the Senate Judiciary Committee hearings.

However, Republican Senators have now revealed information regarding the negative machinations

of Democratic Senators to undermine the Kavanaugh nomination.

Chicks on the Right reported, "If Dianne Feinstein cared about Christine

Ford and protecting women from the "monster" that is Brett Kavanaugh she would have moved

forward when she heard about the allegation months ago.

If she really cared about women she would have immediately shared the information with

Chuck Grassley and the FBI because Brett Kavanaugh could have attacked more women.

Feinstein cares about protecting women, right?

Of course not.

She knows Brett Kavanaugh isn't a sexual predator and she held onto the information

until the last second when it was clear that Democrats wouldn't be able to defeat Kavanaugh

on the merits.

That's one of the biggest takeaways from the hearing on Thursday.

Feinstein has become a national embarrassment.

Orrin Hatch and Lindsey Graham called her out for it.

From Conservative Tribune: Democratic Sen.Diane Feinstein knew about

the allegations from Dr. Christine Blasey Ford as far back as July.

Despite this, she never uttered a word about it until the 11th hour when it appeared Supreme

Court Justice nominee Brett Kavanaugh would be confirmed.

As Republican senators Lindsey Graham and Orrin Hatch pointed out Thursday, Feinstein

could have asked Kavanaugh about the allegations privately or publicly.

She did neither.

Graham and Hatch stood up for Kavanaugh against what the Democrats have been saying and doing

throughout the confirmation process.

Graham reminded Democrats he and other Republican senators voted for Obama SCOTUS nominees Sonia

Sotomayor and Elena Kagen because of their judicial qualities.

Graham reminded Democrats he and other Republican senators voted for Obama SCOTUS nominees Sonia

From Washington Times: Jabbing his finger at Democrats sitting across

the dais, the South Carolina Republican said they had made clear from the start that they

would use any tactics to derail Judge Kavanaugh's confirmation, and they have lived up to that

dark promise.

He particularly singled out Sen. Dianne Feinstein of California, the top Democrat on the panel,

saying she was coaching Kavanaugh accuser Christine Blasey Ford to hire an attorney

a month earlier but sat on the allegations only to spring them at the last moment through

press leaks, ensuring the unproven claims played out in stark public fashion.

According to the timeline presented at the hearing, she was first alerted to Ms. Blasey

Ford's allegations in a July 30 letter.

She reached out to the accuser and encouraged her to lawyer up, but she did not share the

allegations with the rest of the committee.

She also didn't ask for an FBI investigation, nor did she confront Judge Kavanaugh at any

of several opportunities — their private meeting, in a closed-door session senator

held with the judge earlier this month, or during four days of hearings.

But just before the committee was scheduled to vote on the nomination, word of the July

30 letter leaked

to

the press.

How the word "meat" could shape the future of protein - Duration: 4:34.

We can all agree this is meat.

Right?

And this is "meat," a plant-based protein alternative

that we usually just call fake meat.

But a recent court case filed in Missouri could determine that the term "fake meat"

isn't descriptive enough for products like veggie burgers.

The state and the meat industry claim that the current packaging and placement

for tofu dogs, chick'n patties, and veggie burgers mislead customers.

To atone for these sins going forward, says a new law, the makers of fake meat who don't

specify clearly enough that there's nothing from an animal in their products should go

to jail for a year.

Plant protein proponents claim this is just industry protectionism.

That's the thrust of their suit against this new law, which cites the First Amendment.

They don't think anyone is actually being misled or harmed by their products.

But the meat industry isn't worried about competition, it's worried about being eliminated.

So how did we get to the point where fake meat and meat ended up in court together?

The modern history of meat substitutes started pretty inoffensively.

In the '80s, a pile of rice, mushroom, and onions smashed into a disc was charmingly

dubbed "the Gardenburger."

A decade later, Turtle Island Food Company debuted its first "holiday roast," which

is what we know today as Tofurky.

And there have been all kinds of competitors and imitators over the decades.

But fake meat was always seen as this kind of a consolation prize for vegans and vegetarians.

You found it in the natural foods aisle next to the tofu and sauerkraut.

Meat producers never saw it as a threat.

No one ever really said, "Wow, this mushed up pea protein tastes just like beef!"

That is, until some people a few years ago started to say, "Wow, we should really make

this mushed up pea protein taste more like beef!"

Today, meat-free meat is starting to look and taste more and more like animal products.

Tofu roast has started to look more like bratwurst.

"Soyrizo" is a thing.

You can even buy vegan bacon!

The key ingredient that gives the Impossible Burger its meaty taste is "heme," a molecule

found in blood.

The secret ingredient in the conflict between meat and fake meat isn't heme or any other

chemical.

It's money.

Meat alternatives recently have been way more appetizing to investors.

Rates of vegetarianism and veganism have held pretty much steady since 1999.

Today, omnivores are just eating more plant-based meat alternatives.

"I think we're going through the mainstreaming of plant-based diets right now.

No matter where you live, if Walmart is your only grocery story, you now have plant-based eating options."

And since the same people who are eating beef burgers are starting to also eat their pea-mush

counterparts, the meat lobby is starting to feel its dominance in protein market is fleeting.

And so, we find ourselves in the middle of a war on plant-based alternatives,

which are becoming increasingly popular.

In February, the U.S. Cattlemen's Association filed a petition to the USDA to try to stop

fake meat vendors from selling their products as meat.

The fight even extends to other aisles of the grocery store.

In 2017, Democratic Senator Tammy Baldwin introduced the DAIRY PRIDE bill to protect

dairy producers against plant-based competition.

Now there's an ongoing debate at the FDA over whether almond milk can rightfully call

itself milk.

Even the vegan product "Just Mayo" has come under FDA fire because it doesn't meet

their definition of mayonnaise.

Meat has always been controversial.

The fact that fake meat has all its own drama is just a sign that it's even closer to the real deal.

BREAKING: Scandal Investigation – Feinstein And Friends Not Laughing Now! 'They Have Betrayed Her' - Duration: 4:28.

Feinstein is in the dog house!

Democrats kept calling for an investigation on the accusations against Kavanaugh, and

now they are going to get one.

Just not the one they were hoping to have in this case.

Cranky Senator Dianne Feinstein and her people are now facing a full investigation to discover

who leaked Christine Blasey Ford's letter to the press.

She wanted that letter to remain anonymous but left it in the hands of Senator Feinstein,

so…surprise!

It's another Feinstein scandal!

Senator Tom Cotton has indicated that Feinstein's office will be investigated with the intention

of finding out who exactly leaked the letter and under whose orders.

Not too surprisingly, Feinstein, of course, acted as if she was in shock when she was

confronted with the news of the letter being leaked.

She said she had no idea how it could have happened when she was the only one with the

letter during Ford's and Kavanaugh's testimonies before the judge last week.

Just to reiterate, she was the ONLY one with the letter, and yet she is shocked that it

got leaked to the left wing media, and has no clue who could have done it?

Oh my, Feinstein what a paradox…

I'm willing to suggest that if Feinstein was the ONLY one with access to this "confidential"

letter then she is the only one who would know how it got leaked to the media despite

the specific demand from Ford to keep it confidential.

Well, both her and whatever peon she had dirty their hands to get the job done, if not herself.

So many scandals whirling around us now.

Not only is Feinstein facing investigation, but the pro-bono lawyers that were recommended

to Ford are supposedly in the same boat as well, just for a different reason.

Word is after hearing Ford's testimony it appeared as if she had no idea that she had

an option to stay in California, while the Senate Judiciary Committee traveled to her

to get her testimony.

According to the news, she is deathly afraid of flying (yet flies frequently) and would

have most likely opted to stay in California if she had known it was an option.

This was the time that Ford's questioning was delayed a few days from Monday to Thursday,

and the speculation was that it was Ford who needed time to make sure she gets her story

straight.

However, allegedly it wasn't Ford who was stalling at all, but it was her lawyers.

Word is that they are really close with Democrats and got Ford to fly to DC to stall Kavanaugh's

confirmation.

"Cotton speaking about Ford said, as per Politico: "They have betrayed her," Cotton

said on CBS' "Face the Nation."

"She has been victimized by Democrats … on a search-and-destroy mission for Brett Kavanaugh."

"He also said Democrats would be at fault if women become less likely to report sexual

assaults now because they did not keep Ford's request confidential, as she had asked."

"Any impact that this entire episode has had," Cotton told John Dickerson, "on

women's willingness to come forward and report sexual assault, which I encourage them

all to do immediately after it happens, is caused by the Democrats, is caused by Dianne

Feinstein and Chuck Schumer not respecting her requests for confidentiality."

"The FBI investigation into Ford's sexual assault allegation against Kavanaugh is unlikely

to bring any new evidence to light, Cotton said, adding that the Judiciary Committee

had already conducted interviews and/or received letters from people that Ford said attended

the gathering at which the alleged assault occurred."

"We already know what everyone at the party has said," he said, adding that the investigation

will likely make a few senators more comfortable about voting to confirm Kavanaugh's nomination

to the Supreme Court."

"Sen. Cotton makes a good point.

The people who were asked questions and who submitted written letters under risk of penalty

are unlikely to magically have any other information.

What else will people say that they haven't already said under risk of being in legal

trouble for telling lies" "The FBI's job is to investigate.

Brett Kavanaugh has faced a reported six background checks and there was nothing of any sort to

suggest that he had anything but an extremely clean record."

"It's not a mistake that the letter written by Ford, a Democrat, made its way into the

hands of a Democratic Senator, and then into the hands of a leftist leaning publication.

Make no mistake about that, it was all likely part of the plan."

Democrats really have a special talent for chaos and madness.

It's an absolute circus!

They are claiming to be supportive of sexually abused women, and yet turn the other way when

it is a Democrat being accused of anything.

Would you agree?

Interview with MagicaL - Duration: 14:21.

Are we going that way past those people?

Hello, everyone! This is Idan MagicaL Vardanyan and I'm Yana b2ru Khymchenko.

On this warm autumn day, we decided to attend the retro car exhibition.

In his interview, Mag told us that you are a typical pub player, after that you even changed your nickname in Steam.

The question how did you react to it?

Well, I am in fact a typical pub player.

Yes, it's rough though...

I'm improving, I can't say I was very offended.

He allowed me to change my nickname only if we qualify for a tournament.

We qualified for Dreamleague, so I've changed my nickname.

Did you want to do it earlier?

I'm trying to become a decent player, but I'm a typical pub player after all.

By the way, what's the main difference between a pub player and a pro player?

A typical pub player prefers to farm, to play solo, he can die alone.

In general, pub players play like in solo MM, they play alone.

There are five people in a team, they have to act together, communicate, and make team moves.

Okay what are we doing next?

How often people don't let you mid in pubs?

Quite rarely, there might be some angry players though who don't respect me, or think they will play better.

Or they're pro players.

Have you noticed any difference after you joined NAVI?

Maybe people let you mid more often or something?

Overall, people started to be more reasonable towards me, treat me with more respect.

Do you think MMR is a good indication of skill?

In fact, it is a measure of skill, but it's a double-edged sword.

If you have a good win rate of 60% and you play pubs non-stop, eventually you will improve your MMR.

I mean, sometimes there are broken heroes, people spam them, some team invites that player,

and then they realize his hero pool is too small, and the player can only use one hero.

It happens quite often, but if you just play non-stop ten games a day, you will get good eventually.

There are different cases, but I think MMR can reflect your skill.

You've started to work with social media actively, why?

Social media is working. I understand Instagram is useful, I chose it because it's less official than Twitter.

Twitter doesn't suit me for now, but I may give it a try in the future.

The most interesting footage starts when the camera is off, in a natural atmosphere.

A couple of days ago, you were #37 in the MMR ladder. How hard it was to make it into the top 100?

I've never aimed for it, when the MMR was introduced I was in the top already.

So I was keeping my form and playing, I've never aimed for top 10, top 20 or something.

I've just been playing, and now I've hit rank 25.

Do you think if the leagues like FaceIT are introduced, it would be easier to play?

Yes, probably. Everyone will be able to choose their role.

Regarding leagues, they are more for semi-pro and pro players, it will allow them to play with the best.

Regarding role selection MM, I think it should be added.

Look, there are only... how many top players? Top 500?

Top 200-400.

That's not so many, and you play non-stop.

I think there would be enough games, there are a lot of players.

Are you willing to wait for 10-15 minutes for a match?

15 is too much probably, but there are a lot of players right now, so I think it's not a problem.

Okay, let's allow the top 500, but everyone will play their preferred role.

Is there a huge difference between the top 500 and top 100 players?

If there were no rank indications, would you be able to tell the difference?

There are different players, some top 100 players who play like top 1000, and there are top 500 players who play like top 50.

In general yes, there is a difference.

Do you mostly play solo?

Yes, I don't play party MM.

Do you have a favorite pub mate, with whom you prefer to play?

It's a pleasure to play with Liquid.GH, we communicate, it's great to play with him.

Is there a player you enjoy to play against? In particular, in mid.

Against Noone, Miracle. They are not on my friend list, but practice-wise it's very useful.

At first, there were a lot of comments regarding a small hero pool of NAVI.

Do you agree with that?

The thing is not about hero pool, but strategies. There were a few, but now we have enough.

The best strategies are being banned already, I can't say we have too few.

What's the ideal number of heroes in the pool for a mid lane player to have, for example?

Each player?

Mid laner.

I think all tier 1 players (LGD, VP, and others) can play any hero on any lane, which is a huge advantage for a team.

I suppose it takes quite a lot of practicing to be able to play every hero.

You usually try to stick to certain heroes.

For instance, Templar Assassin, which you have more than 700 games on.

Well, there are signature heroes, like GH had at TI7: KotL, Wisp, Earthshaker, maybe more.

So these are signature heroes, and then there are heroes that always fit the meta,

or a player is just good with them.

Teams set up their strategies differently:

some go off of their players' signatures, and some just build a variety of drafts.

I guess we could go for a spin in this thing.

Wanna take a ride?

I take it you've established a certain tradition at the bootcamp of you putting on a song in the morning.

Like a DJ, is that right?

No, it's just to wake Blizzy as he gets up at 3 p.m.

We turn on the anthem of Kyrgyzstan, he gets up full of energy and sings along.

Puts his hand over his heart and he's good to go.

By the way, speaking of waking up, I have a quick round of 5 questions for you.

- Who wakes up before everybody else? - Akbar [SoNNeikO].

- Who sleeps the most? - Blizzy.

Hold on, Blizzy says he stays up late.

He definitely sleeps the most.

- Who plays Dota the most?

I do... Or well, Akbar.

It's either me or Akbar.

He gets up and plays 5 games in the morning,

rests a bit, maybe takes an hour nap and then plays again.

Although he doesn't play in the evening, so I'm probably the one who plays the most.

Okay. Who's the best at board games?

Well, we only played one game.

- Who won? - Andrey [Mag] did. He's the best saboteur.

- Did he deceive everyone? - Yes. - I've heard that story.

He was probably playing illogically and pulled a fast one on all of you, wasn't he?

Well, his emotions were spot on and he did a great job bluffing. It was a beautiful victory.

The last question: Who's the champion in ping-pong?

That'd be Andrey again.

Actually, everyone beats everybody, but Andrey wins more often than others do.

I played a game against Andrey and I won, so it turns out I beat the current champion,

which means I'm the daddy of ping-pong. Or rather the mommy. - Well, I guess you are.

Overall, what do you make of this exhibition and what car did you like the most?

I can't pick one, all of the cars are immortally exquisite.

Well, I'm not really into cars, but it's fun.

- Do you drive? - I don't.

- You don't want to? - I want, but not now.

What car will you get when you win a major, for starters?

I'm not sure, but I've wanted a Range Rover since I was a kid, but I don't know whether it'll be my first car or not.

I'd like to own a huge Dodge pickup truck, so that I could get in and just crush everyone.

I didn't expect so many people would show up to look at retro vehicles.

We've found a spot near this car.

You're a citizen of Israel, but you've lived almost all your life in Kharkiv.

Does having Israeli citizenship help you in any way or is it maybe a liability?

Well, having Israeli citizenship is definitely better,

because with it I can travel visa-free virtually everywhere, except Arab countries, the US, Malaysia, and some others.

If we qualified for the Kuala Lumpur Major, I'd need a visa to go there.

Overall, I was born in Israel and got citizenship.

I've lived in Ukraine ever since my parents moved here.

You've said that your parents hadn't followed esports before you joined NAVI.

Have they started following it already?

Well, yes. Dad has started watching almost all the games...

- Your games or overall? - I mean, our.

My mom doesn't watch games, though.

They obviously know when we're winning and when losing.

Do they cheer you up after defeats or tell you something after victories?

Of course they do.

I know that this is the case with most pro players' parents,

but they also often say something like, "Why did you pick this? Why did you attack B instead of A?"

I think it's all ahead.

They've already been asking me why we lost and stuff like that.

When we win, everyone congratulates but nobody asks why we won,

however, when we lose, I get questions asking how and why we got defeated.

It's hard to give an answer to that.

Do you like streaming?

I think so.

You don't really interact much with your audience.

Well, I'm fully focused when I'm playing so I can't Alt+Tab during the game to read the chat and crack some jokes with them.

I do talk to them during a match search, though.

- Are there a lot of toxic people? - On stream? - In the chat.

You know, sometimes the chat is totally nuts.

It's been okay so far, I'd say mostly it's 90 against 10.

There are haters, of course, who tune in just to trash talk,

but mostly everything's positive and a lot of people say only good things.

You will soon attend your first LAN, which will be held in Sweden. What are your thoughts on this?

I'm looking forward to it, I'm gonna put in the preparation.

Regarding morale and this kind of stuff, I don't know how it will go.

Well, the tournament is due to commence at the end of October,

so I think there'll enough time to get used to things.

But it's definitely going to be an exciting experience.

- Good to hear. Idan, thank you for your time and this interview. - Thank you, too.

The guys are going to play official matches later today,

although the interview will be released a little further down the line,

but I hope you've all watched the games and supported the guys.

Cheers.

6 Ways Weedcraft Inc Isn't Just Theme Park For Drug Dealers - Duration: 10:16.

Here on Rock Paper Shotgun we don't indulge in naughty herbs because we're high on life.

Okay, there was that period where Matthew was addicted to Haribo - it was basically

a much fatter version of Trainspotting - but otherwise we're as square as squares come.

Which makes us the perfect team to tackle Weedcraft Inc, from the wonderfully named

team at Vile Monarch.

It's a tycoon game about building your own weed empire in America.

If you thought you were being naughty putting extra salt on the fries in Theme Park to make

punters thirstier, wait until you're wrestling with the legality of running a modern drug

empire.

And it's all set to polish hip hop, which theme park definitely wasn't.

But that's isn't the only way it's different to more familiar tycoon games.

As our resident management sim addict - and for NO OTHER REASON - I got to play Weedcraft

Inc and now present to you six ways it isn't just Theme Hospital for drug dealers.

The developers tell me that they're not trying to promote drug use, just highlight some of

the issues around a growing industry.

That said, they did say the game could be played with one hand, freeing up the other

for chemical pursuits.

Personally, I'd prefer you to use that spare hand to click like the button and subscribe.

Rock Paper Shot is a legal high.

Now on with the list...

I'll admit that when I got the invite to play the game I thought it was going to be a bit

of a lame attempt to court controversy and appeal to giggling stoners.

There's maybe a bit of that going on, but I was surprised at how much Vile Monarch are

trying to target a wider crowd.

Inspired by America's slightly chaotic approach to legalising weed, they want to make sure

that various agendas are all explored throughout their game.

It isn't as straightforward as running a legal business.

Medical workers, patients, civil rights workers, entrepreneurs and small businesses, farmers

and lawyers all have different opinions on how legalised weed will aid their work and

larger industries.

This is represented by a range of playable scenarios that drop you into different business,

from scrappy basement dwellers to giant corporations impacting the highest level of politics.

In the scenario I played I was living in Michigan State as a young man who had to stop his MBA

studies after his dad died.

Vile Monarch are insistent on still making sure real life is portrayed in their game.

This young man's brother had been growing weed to help his dad's pain, but also had

his eyes on starting a small, new enterprise.

My character started off reluctant towards the whole thing but slowly comes round to

the idea of helping his brother succeed in the industry.

In a true rags to riches story, you start off growing weed illegally in your family

home.

Yeah, Mr White.

Yeah, science!

The key area Weedcraft differs from most management games is in the nature of the product: it's

not a simple service, but a living thing that can be cultivated and changed.

Weirdly, the closest thing I can think of is the dinosaurs in Jurassic World Evolution,

where you can try and spice up regular breeds with violent behaviour or sharper teeth.

Ironically, inhale some of the stuff you cook up in Weedcraft and you might start seeing

dinosaurs, too.

You can play around with science and nutrition by improving your various strains of weed.

You can alter the amount of nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium each of your plants get in order

to make them improve in quality.

Who ever said drugs can't teach you anything?

You can also up your game by changing the temperature and humidity of your room, but

being careful that you're only altering the plants that need this extra push and not

all of them, as not all of them react in the same way.

Then you can improve your set up by buying more expensive lights which heat the place

up, fans which cool the place down, and even extractors which help lessen the smell.

Another thing you can do with your strains of weed, that I didn't quite get round to

being able to do in my playthrough, is breeding different strains together to create procedurally

generated plants with completely random names and appearances.

For instance, I came across some strains called Granddaddy Purple and Orange Sex.

I'm not sure the kids are going to be impressed with drugs named after their grandad, but

chuckled as I read them.

It's definitely a more colourful management game because of it.

As you'd expect from a business sim, your staff are just as important to the health

of your business as your clients, rivals, police and politicians.

You have to make sure they're happy with their pay, with the way their work is going,

and with what they're being asked to do.

Difference is, they're not just wiping up sick in a hospital ward.

You're hiring them based on their abilities in cultivation, selling and - most essential

- spying.

Sending staff to scope out rival dealers is way more intense than anything you'll do

to them in Two Point Hospital.

The worst thing you can do there is buy a cheap sofa for the staff room; infiltrating

a drug den is worse than hard cushions.

Before your employees start working with you, it's down to you to cultivate your crops.

You water them, trim them, and harvest them yourself, and this makes speeding up time

difficult, as you also need to make sure everything is fine above-ground.

The bigger your operation, the more you rely on staff to fill in the gaps - so I ended

up spending most of my time making sure my staff relationships were going swimmingly

and that I had a healthy presence in the overall market.

One of the benefits of befriending your staff is that you don't have to pay them as much

as staff you're less friendly with.

Matthew tries to run a similar system with the Rock Paper Shotgun video team, which is

why me and Noa insist on keeping things super frosty.

Thanks to Weedcraft for teaching me that mean equals green.

Speaking of relationships, everything in the game is governed by your network of connections,

from social to political.

Everyone you meet and talk to all have various levels of motivation, integrity, cannabis

acceptance, and their relationship to you.

It's like really sleazy Top Trumps.

This means you can come across police who have very little integrity, but very high

cannabis acceptance, so will be more than likely totally fine with seeing that you've

got a basement laboratory growing marijuana and let it slide.

I had a police officer who did just this.

Swung by due to reports of disturbance, saw my sprouting marijuana and said "is that

it?" and moved along.

Soon enough rivals start moving into the same area as you, and are a lot better at the whole

thing than you are, so it's probably in your best interest to become bezzie mates

with them and learn their secrets.

The rival I came across was a friendly looking man called Big Papa John.

I assume he has no ties to the popular pizza chain.

Although their special garlic sauce is like crack.

We were getting on like a house on fire - but not a house full of weed, because that would

make the firemen too chill to do their job.

Just when I thought things were safe and our friendship was a beautiful thing, I asked

him for business advice and BOOOOM down goes our friendship meter right to the bottom,

straight down to hostile.

That's gonna be a tough one to bring back.

I didn't have enough dirt on him, so I won't even be able to blackmail him now either.

I was told that this is a balancing issue they'll sort out, but it made me laugh nonetheless

as Vile Monarch was just as shocked by it as I was.

Even so, I like the idea of personal relationships playing a key part in business success - tycoon

games are so often about the bigger picture, this puts people front and centre

Another way Weedcraft differs from traditional management sims is the sense of your own morality.

You could argue that this is naturally baked into things like Theme Hospital - where you

personal choose whether to charge the sick millions for an Aspirin - but here every decision

you make can make your character decent or shady.

There's even a character perk tree that asks you to choose different paths that'll either

make you a saviour or a complete Scarface.

Not wishing to make light of the situation, the developers have made sure that you are

aware of how your character is seen, and what their actions do to their personality.

It is possible to gain a licence to sell in cities where it is legal, but unfortunately

I didn't get that far in, so a lot of my actions had to be pretty shady just to get

a foothold.

I wasn't melting anyone in the bath tub like Walter White, but I was far from above board.

Vile Monarch say there's no real judgement made on you for your decisions, it's completely

down to you as you play and the city will shift around you.

Wanna be a big bad?

You totally can be, although you'll struggle to become a legitimate business.

Or you could focus on being an illegal guardian angel, supplying medical patients in cities

where medical marijuana isn't available - it may be harder work, but you could help shift

public perception by keeping your nose clean.

I also like the way the game let's you shape your customer base - you aren't just serving

a generic public.

Do you want to be the medical marijuana hero helping old biddies with bad backs, or do

you want to treat frathouses like a personal piggy bank and chase after students and jocks?

Different customer classes value different things, some prefer cheapness over quality

- I'm looking at you, Vagrants - and others prefer to have better effects from their weed.

Some customers are only interested in certain strains, or tastes, so it's completely down

to who you want to attract.

If you want to help those who need it medically, you can alter prices of the strain of weed

that they need, so that they are more readily available.

If the jocks prefer a certain strain because of a particular quality, and aren't bothered

about the price then rinse them of all of their dollar.

I'm fine with this - their parents can afford it.

I also like the way you can disguise the business and grow your reach at the same time.

Got the police on your back?

Can't win this one around with bribery?

No fear, you're able to make yourself even more inconspicuous by giving your lab, wherever

that may be, a storefront.

These storefronts can lead to new clients - huzzah!

For instance, opening a pizza restaurant will bring in students as new clients as well as

making your clients and staff coming in and out of your building look less suspicious.

Just don't get your pizza herbs mixed up with your secret stash.

My concerns about spiking the special garlic sauce aside, I had a decent time with Weedcraft.

It's always hard to judge any management game from a tiny slice, especially in this

world where escalation is going to see the entire nature of your industry change.

I can say that the art style of Weedcraft Inc, and the passion behind Vile Monarch wanting

to create a game of awareness, made for an enjoyable time.

And that hip-hop soundtrack really does give it a chill vibe.

I like that Weedcraft Inc covers a lot of ground and is sure to educate and interest

many different types of people.

It still has plenty to figure out, like various button sizing and relationship balancing - sorry

Big Papa John, I hope we can be friends one day - and repetitive dialogue in conversations,

but it is still in the Alpha stage.

We'll be keeping an eye on this operation.

But not in a narc kind of way - RPS ain't no snitch.

I'm keen to hear what you think of Weedcraft Inc in the comments below, and do like this

video if you enjoyed it, and subscribe to Rock Paper Shotgun for more PC gaming coverage.

us play through the trippy Hypnospace Outlaw - no drugs involved, of course.
