Transfering your electoral title to Hungary - Duration: 3:59.
Sziastok
My name is Patricia
And this is another Hungarian Reality
Today I'm going to tell you about the process of transferring the electoral domicile from Brazil to Hungary.
Every Brazilian citizen over 16 years, resident abroad, can access the site
of the Exterior Electoral Title and initiate the transfer of domicile through the Internet.
To begin, you have to go to the address of the brazilian electoral department
I'll leave it in the video description for you:
Once on the site, click Pre-service Election - Net Title, and You
you will find two options if you still did not start your process, click
"initiate application".
Then you will be taken to a screen explaining which documents you need to scan
and upload to the site.
click on proceed to start sending your data and documents.
In this screen, you fill in all your data correctly, click here on reCaptcha
and click Next.
On this page you will send the documents you have scanned, click on "send document"
and send the following documents:
- A Brazilian official identification document with photo
- Your resident permit card with your adress
- If there is, also send the electoral discharge
- And if you are a man, from 18 to 45 years of age, also send your military discharge
Here you also have to click in reCaptcha and then you can click on finalize.
From now on, to follow your request, just click here in the second option,
"follow up request" to know how the situation of your transfer of domicile is.
And now just wait, you will receive an email when everything is ready,
where you will be called to an apointment at the nearest Brazilian Consulate,
in my case, it is Budapest, you must take with you all the original documents that
you sent the copies to the site, and the protocol number you received by e-mail.
And that's where we are going now.
So we came here at the consulate and we're going to transfer our voter's title here to Budapest.
We passed the reception and got the card and went to the sixth floor.
Let's go.
The process at the consulate is very quick and easy.
From now on, the electoral title will be all digital.
Just install the e-Title application on your mobile device. Enter your data
and so you can check your voting place.
Well, everything worked out fine.
I hope you enjoyed

16" Fence Armor Patriotic Edition Installation Video - Duration: 2:48.
Thank you for purchasing Fence Armor. Our new Patriotic Edition is quite exciting
and we're glad you were able to purchase one. At this point in time you're about
five minutes away from getting your Patriotic Edition fastened to your post.
The post location is totally up to you. In the most cases you'll probably be
using this on a mailbox post so you'll be putting it near the bottom, in some
cases you may be putting this up higher on a post or wherever you'd like to
decorate is a great place to have this new addition. Once you've got the two
pieces out of the box, you'll also have a bag of screws. There will be 8 screws
they're all white, they're quarter inch hex-head so be you'll be able to use all
of them or just some of them depending on how you'd like it fastened. There are
five sizes, one of the five sizes doesn't really matter which one you have if
you've purchased a custom edition with your home number on it then of course
you'll have two sides with the number. You want to make sure one of those is on
the flag side of your mailbox post according to the US Postal Service.
You want to put the first side near the bottom of the post but not right
on the ground, about an inch to an inch and a half above the ground because ultimately
you're going to be weed whacking around that post at about two and a half inches
to three inches based on your grass height and you don't want to be digging
down into the earth. This also keeps Fence Armor off the ground where any
water that's coming down would be shed and any water coming up won't have
anywhere to live. I like to use a torque of about 5 to 7 on an adjustable
electric drill or torque set. You want to use a quarter inch hex head bit or you
can use certainly a hand wrench that will be able to do the trick. So once you
place the first screw in, then of course you can place one on the top one on the
bottom and on the opposite side and if you want to do the side fasteners
you can. When you're putting the Fence Armor on you want to try and match up
your design, each one is custom built so they'll be a little different but
ultimately put it on so you like the the effect and enjoy years of a decorative
fence post with our Patriotic Edition. Again thank you for purchasing and
certainly if you get to our YouTube channel we'd love you to like and
subscribe so you can see all the new things coming out. Thanks!

LGR - Star Wars Episode I Racer - PC Game Review - Duration: 14:48.
Ahh now here's a favorite I've been wanting to cover for ages.
This is Star Wars: Episode 1 - Racer, developed and published by LucasArts in May of 1999
for Windows PCs, alongside the Nintendo 64 release,
which is probably the more well-known version of the game.
It also got released for the Macintosh and the Sega Dreamcast the following year, along
with a highly simplified Game Boy Color version, and even a beefy
coin-op arcade machine with proper podracing controls.
But for this video I'm going to be sticking to this PC version since it's the one I
owned and played back then, and I just like it.
Although I vividly remember the first time I saw the game at all, which was at the local
Best Buy store where they had an N64 demo unit
hooked up to a massive 3x3 display of some
kind hanging from the ceiling.
I was instantly enamored with the game and the moment we upgraded our PC to be able to
play 3D accelerated games, this Windows version with its gorgeous gatefold box was on my short
list of most-wanted titles.
Although I don't recall if this limited edition box is the one we got back then or
not, but hey, it's the one I have now so let's take a look.
Turns out there were two covers released, one with Anakin's podracer and one with
Sebulba, with the latter being much more uncommon
but neither are particularly cheap boxes these days.
Contained within is a colorful smorgasbord of late-90s PC game inserts, including the
limited edition goodies like this aesthetically-appealing podracer schematic and the
less-than-appealing young Anakin Skywalker poster.
Eh, could've been worse.
You also get this wonderful Spring '99 LucasArts product catalog,
and man I love looking through these.
This was quite a busy time for the company, with prequel trilogy hype reaching a fever
pitch and new games coming out seemingly every other month.
And of course you get the game on a single compact disc in a jewel case, as well as the
full-color owner's manual, with 37 pages of full-color manual that is yours to own.
And even for 1999 this is a fantastic little booklet, filled with great concept art, useful
illustrations, and copious well-written tidbits detailing each facet of gameplay.
I just love a good bathroom break booklet.
Starting up the game provides you with an assortment of animated LucasArts artistry
in the form of logos and introductory cutscenes, with the main one showing a loose recreation
of Episode 1's famous podracing scene.
[beep!]
["And they're off!"]
[now *this* is FMV podracing!]
You're then presented with the main menu screen, John Williams's classic Duel of
the Fates playing on an endless loop.
[♪♪♪]
At this point you can choose to play multiplayer, a single race, or the tournament mode.
We'll just be looking at tournament mode in this video because single race simply allows
access to stuff unlocked in tournament mode, and multiplayer requires a direct connection
to other PCs through a local area network.
Sadly you do not get split-screen multiplayer goodness in this version like you did on the
consoles, and that always kind of bummed me out.
What you do get is the ability to create a profile for yourself and then watch a short
in-game cutscene, where you wander into this cantina, shoo away whatever randomly-chosen
droid or creature happens to be standing in your way, and then selecting a podracer.
Each of them have seven performance statistics inherent to their vehicle, as well as an 8th
statistic that's a little more vague and that is the size and shape of the podracer itself.
The driver really is of no consequence, but you get to choose from everyone shown
in Episode 1's podracing scene and plenty more, with over 20 drivers unlockable
by the end of the game.
Finally you can select from and compete in one of three tournaments with up to seven
races each, with the goal being to place fourth or better on each track to reach the final
competition, the Boonta Eve Classic from the movie.
After this you're presented with a management screen, allowing you to begin the selected
race, inspect your podracer for no reason other than to admire the polygons and GRAFIX,
and perform a number of podracer upgrades and tweaks.
We'll be back to this in a moment, but for now let's drop right into the podracing
itself, beginning with another cutscene introducing you to the upcoming planet.
"Welcome podracing fans to Ando Prime!"
"Home of the benevolent Andobi Bendu monks."
"Your host, the wisest of the wise..."
"Ten-Abu Doba!"
[barely-audible announcer introduction]
[podracing sounds commence]
Now this is podracing!
Or, this is "Episode 1 - Racer," to be more precise.
Did anyone actually call it by its proper marketed title back then?
I know my friends and I always just called it "Star Wars Pod Racer," but anyway.
The gameplay is precisely what you'd expect for an experience based on the nearly 20-minute
scene from Episode 1: absurdly fast racing through sci-fi environments with excellent
sound design, interrupted by the occasional piece of grating dialogue.
[somewhat irritating alien exclamations]
And man, this is still a lot of fun.
One of the most important things for a racing game to get right is a sense of speed, and
Episode 1 Racer is one that absolutely nails that.
If the speed of the simulation was too slow, it risks breaking the suspension of disbelief
knowing that these podracers are moving at velocities exceeding 600 miles an hour.
But if the simulation were to move too fast, or even moved at a speed that was accurate
to what it would be in reality, then the game would simply be unplayable.
"You must have jedi reflexes if you race pods" may be true, but expecting every
gamer to possess those would not be very enjoyable.
Thankfully, the combination of the environments, sound effects, graphical effects, and control
scheme make approaching 1000 miles an hour here not only feasible, but desirable.
The controls in particular are something to be commended here, because it gives you just
enough options to be able to fully control your pod
without ever feeling like the room for error disappears.
And seeing as they made this work as well as it does even on a keyboard, that's impressive.
Now you might want an analogue control method of some kind, whether it be a joystick,
a gamepad, a steering wheel, or even the mouse.
But personally, I've always played this version of the game with the keyboard because,
well, I just got used to it back in the day.
But also because I find the precise digital controls spread across the keyboard to be
a good match for this kind of twitchy racing.
And the manner in which LucasArts split up the required inputs by default cleverly avoids
the problem of ghosting when you're pressing multiple
keys simultaneously on a keyboard without NKRO.
On the right hand side of the keyboard you use the arrow keys to turn left and right
as well as pitch up and down, and on the left hand you have the WASD keys for controlling
thrust, brakes, and the somewhat superfluous rolling left and right.
There are also keys on the left side for performing repairs, changing cameras, taunting,
as well as the all-important slide key.
When this is held down, your podracer goes from rapidly strafing left and right to having
a more nuanced and fine-tuned control scheme that's better-suited for navigating sharp
corners and narrow passageways.
And finally, there's the boost mode, enabled by pressing a combination of inputs.
Whenever you've maxed out on speed and this indicator turns from green to yellow, you
can pitch down and press Shift to enable the boost, which will take you well beyond your
normal thrust speed at the expense of handling and heat generation.
And that's where this indicator on the bottom-left of the screen comes into play, showing your
engine status alongside an audio cue letting you know you're about to overheat.
If you push too far then an engine will catch fire and will need repairing on the fly, and
if you keep pushing you'll explode, so balancing thrust with boost is key.
Before long though, this becomes second nature and you don't even need to look at any of
the indicators at all, relying completely on the audio cues and timing
to make sure you're going as fast as possible in your current podracer without combusting.
[BOOM]
Of course, if you do explode then you're quickly reset with fresh engines, but obviously
that's not ideal since you lose valuable time.
And parts do wear out the more you screw up as well, so you will also
have to perform repairs once you complete the race.
This is not something that you do manually, it just gets fixed up over time by your pit droids,
so buying up as many of those as you can, as quickly as you can, is very much advised.
And since it takes time to fix a podracer, at this point you just
switch to another one and keep playing.
Because the way things work in tournament mode is that you play more of a manager for
every podracer, rather than a single racer themselves.
Once you've chosen a racer, you can then invest your credits into improving their podracer
through parts upgrades, with everyone sharing the same pool of credits, or you can swap
between them at will depending on your repair needs.
You also have the options to simply switch out any damaged parts for others that are
in better shape or have different stats altogether.
Entering Watto's shop or junkyard will provide dozens of parts options covering all of the
performance categories of your podracer,
and this certainly isn't the most streamlined process.
There's a lot of menu interface weirdness that makes it feel clunky with a mouse, and
I wish there was more of an overview of all the available parts at once instead of having
to navigate through each one individually to see what it does.
And I also wish Watto would just shut up already.
"I am-a betting heavily on Sebulba!
He always wins, ehhehehehaah!"
Seriously he never stops, it's just an endless loop
of the same annoying sound bites over and over...
"Have-a you seen-a my chance cube-a?"
"Have-a you seen-a my chance cube-a?"
"HAVE-A YOU SEEN-A MY
CHANCE CUUUUUUUUUBEEEEEEE-AAAAA?!?!?!?!"
OKAY, how about those visuals though?
Mm, 1999.
I kinda miss this era in PC game graphics.
Although admittedly this particular footage doesn't look great anymore since I'm running
it at 640x480, which is the resolution I played it on back when it was new.
And the HUD elements look distractingly blurry, a problem that unfortunately exists no matter
what resolution you choose, but oh well it gets the job done.
Heh, anyone else always see this "3" as the Monster Energy logo?
Well now I'm just getting distracted, anyway.
What I'm trying to say here is that, while technically it's not amazing anymore,
in terms of aesthetics for a decades-old game I still think it looks great all things considered.
Star Wars design language and color palettes mesh
perfectly with late-90s graphical capability, I feel.
The 3D models are just polygonal enough to be believable and the textures are just detailed
enough to look good at high speeds.
I also like how most of the alternate routes and shortcuts are clearly laid out on the
minimap, and man there are a bunch of them.
Finding and mastering the shortest and most navigable bits of track is key to a first
place finish and a NEW LAP RECORD.
And then there are environmental effects like snow, dust, water, lens flares, and all sorts
of objects breaking apart on collision that looked positively fantastic back then and
remain enjoyably charming now.
I especially love the design of the tracks that take place on worlds filled with neon
and rusty metal everywhere, and the mining stations with zero-gravity sections where
you're flying past floating rocks and electrical hazards.
Tracks like these make your choice in podracer quite significant, since a larger but faster
pod might be too difficult to navigate compared to a slower but smaller one.
In fact, the hazards are the other main pillar of the gameplay here, with each track and
permutation of said track containing its own unique props, pitfalls, and perilous problems
to plow through or pilot past.
Though I always found it odd that podracers slip and slide while going over icy surfaces,
since, well, they're not actually touching the ground right?
The game itself says you're hovering four feet off the ground in these things,
so why is ice slippery?
Oh well, it's one more tricky thing to navigate and I dig it nonetheless.
Once you finish that you're crowned the king of pods or something and the credits roll,
and all that remains are the additional challenge tracks.
I actually enjoy most of them, but... wrregnugh this one in particular, Abyss?
It is by far the worst in the game.
Visually I like it but it is poorly and unfairly designed.
It's the only track in the game that harshly punishes you
for not taking the exact correct route.
So unless you take this top portion of the track every lap, you have zero chance of winning
due to it forcing you down a long, out of the way loop of track that puts you way behind.
And due to the nature of this top portion of track, it's incredibly
easy to fall off either side.
Not only that but it is oddly buggy, with your pod just blowing up
on certain sections of each turn.
Quite simply, I hate this track and everything about it and after about 40 minutes of trying
to attain a podium finish I said screw it and gave up.
I ain't got nothing to prove, this track can suck it.
And lastly there are the perks of this particular version running on Windows.
If you're used to the much more limited N64 version, it's awesome to see that it's capable of
running up to 60fps on PC, even on period-correct hardware like this Pentium III-based system
with a 16MB Voodoo3 graphics card that I'm using here.
There are definitely some tracks that play smoother than others,
but overall it's a wonderful experience on PC.
I mean, if you can get it working.
I've experienced an array of bugs, graphical glitches, sound system problems, and compatibility
issues over the years, and that's just on Windows 98.
On a modern system, it can be a true test of patience to get working 100%.
Thankfully, GOG.com has recently rereleased the game on PC and it works fantastically
right out of the gate, at least in my experience so far.
Not only that but you can crank the resolution up as high as your display provides.
So yeah, you want this in 1440p or 4K or whatever? Go for it!
It'll still be 4:3 aspect ratio but it looks awesome.
So if you want to revisit the game on a newer PC I'd highly recommend this version just
for ease of use, and if you'd like to support this channel at the same time feel free to check out my
affiliate link to GOG below this video.
Either way though, I was happy to find that Star Wars
Episode I - Racer holds up incredibly well.
Even after having not played it for at least 10 years.
I'm sure some of that has to do with my own memories of the game from when it was
new and just playing it a crapload and beating it.
But I also truly think that it stands
out even today as one of the more satisfying and speedy sci-fi racers of the late 1990s.
[beep beep beep beep beep! BOOM!]
[Watto humming along to "Pandora" by Anders Bothén]
Hehe, well that was fun to make.
And I hope this video was fun to watch.
Either way though, as always I thank you very much for watching!

How 343 Industries RUINED Halo - Duration: 11:09.
Like many people, I grew up playing Halo.
In fact, Halo Combat evolved is my earliest gaming memory.
When I was a kid, the open environments and solid gameplay had me borderline obsessed.
I was even optimistic once the original developers of Halo, a studio called bungie, moved on
from the franchise and passed it onto a studio Microsoft had assembled to continue the franchise,
called 343 industries.
Fast forward 6 years, and Halo's future is looking pretty grim.
343 industries has utterly failed to deliver in every single way.
They swapped the hands-off gameplay heavy campaigns of the past for soap-opera levels
of melodrama that couldn't be further from the series' roots if they tried.
It all began with Halo 4.
Or as I like to call it, "Geriatric John and the Bowling Ball Bastard."
Right out of the gate, Halo 4 tells you that well… you aren't cool anymore.
Masterchief is old… despite the fact he was cryogenically frozen this whole time so
he really shouldn't have aged in between the games, and nobody thought he was too old
before, but I suppose that's neither here nor there.
For a franchise that was built around Masterchief being just a vessel for the player to experience
an action packed, epic story Halo 4 does everything it can to make being the masterchief as unpleasant
as possible.
The entirety of the Halo 4 campaign revolves around your allies telling you that you suck.
And speaking of... who wrote Sarah Palmer?
Who wrote Sarah Palmer??
Why would somebody create this character?
This is a character that is designed to just get under the player's skin.
She serves no other purpose than acting like she's Superior to you throughout the entire
game.
There's no development to that plot line she's just rude.
This may come as a shock, but it is possible to write a strong female character without
her only character trait being that she is abrasive.
You know… like maybe these two?
[Miranda and Cortana].
For a series that championed letting the player inhabit the main character, 343 really misunderstood
that.
Here, let them tell you themselves.
I'm not really going to go into the plot details or
the misleading marketing campaign for Halo 5.
Not because I don't have criticisms of them, but because I don't even know where to begin.
But I will say this: How could anybody think that it is a good idea to lock just about
all of the context and interesting events of the story behind BOOKS?!
If you want to find out who this guy really is and why he flies around in a bowling ball?
Better get crackin on those books buddy.
As somebody who hadn't read the books before playing Halo 4, I had absolutely no clue as
to what was going on.
This from a guy who has played through halo 1 through reach at LEAST 10 times.
If your story is too complicated to fit into a game, maybe it's not a story that should
be delivered through this medium, and it's time to go back to the drawing board.
The brilliance of the Bungie games was that there was enough exposition in the games to
keep the story moving and prevent the player from getting lost, but if you wanted to dive
deeper into the Halo Universe, the books were there for you.
Now you've got to do a couple days worth of homework before you even start a Halo game,
or you'll be totally lost.
This all reeks of game developers trying to imitate film.
There's also the issue of 343 Industries' changes to the franchise's art style.
As I'm sure many will be quick to remind you, the original Halo franchise's art style
was ICONIC.
Everything human had sort of utilitarian bent to it where all the guns looked quite believable,
in a way.
They look like something you could see in the future.
And then in Halo Reach we finally got to see real human settlements and a glimpse at what
life in the Halo Universe.
It seemed believable.
Like everything had a purpose, and it wasn't just being over designed for the sake of looking
'sci-fi'.
And I'm sure some of that was just to save resources on the old consoles.
But look at Halo 4 and tell me that looks believable to you.
It doesn't; it looks like fantasy.
The Spartans don't look like Special Forces soldiers they look like Power Rangers.
The Marines look like they're kids playing Nerf.
When did this become hotter than this?
Covenant cruiser(ooh) Phantom (aah)
Halo Ring (applause) Phaeton (What the fuck is that gunny)
I don't think I've ever seen something in entertainment as disappointing as 343's
realization of the foreigners since the Star Wars prequels.
Bungie set up the foreigners as this ancient alien race that loved life so much that they
sacrificed themselves so the life could carry on without the flood taking over the Galaxy.
This is a race that cared about life so much they covered the weapons they will use to
destroy themselves in life.
This was a society eons ahead of what we could even conceive.
Compared to the technology humans possessed, the Forerunners are Gods.
Reminders of this were placed all throughout the Bungie games, like in Halo CE, when Spark
says this [Combat skin].
The most technically advanced piece of armor humanity has ever made is only a class 2 out
of 18 when compared to forerunner technology.
What a fascinating piece of mystery to add to a game.
Or it was until they decide to reveal the foreigners are actually just pretty much the
same as humans.
They're just as flawed and prejudiced, and even use the same exact weapons as humans.
Isn't that interesting?
The same society that built rings that could destroy all sentient life in the galaxy uses
a glowy version of the battle rifle and can be incapacitated by a single grenade.
Apparently he didn't die to that though, he actually dies in a comic.
Yeah, the main antagonist of Halo 4 dies in a comic book, not the game.
That is A-plus genius level storytelling right there.
Remember that part where Halo 3 ended with a quicktime event to kill the profit of truth
and then a dialogue heavy cutscene?
Oh no… it ended like this.
[Awesome]
You see it doesn't really count as adding new content to your game if you take the old
stuff and just change the skin and give them slightly different spread values.
The suppressor?
That's actually just an SMG.
The scattershot is quite literally just a shotgun.
It's bland.
Bungie was so committed to keeping the weapon sandbox varied.
Think of how the fuel Rod Cannon had an arc to it and can be fired rapidly, whereas the
rocket launcher shot in a straight line and only had two shots.
Weapons like the plasma rifle and the Plasma Pistol shot slow-moving projectiles, while
Human weapons shot fast-moving projectiles that were less effective against Shields.
Each weapon was different.
Well, except for the Plasma Repeater, but we don't talk about that.
Speaking of different let's talk a little bit about multiplayer shall we?
The original Halo games all used the same bulletproof formula.
And that's what defined Halo.
Everybody's started with the same weapons, and players typically ran around the map looking
for more powerful weapons.
And there were two things that really set Halo apart from the competition: and that
was the lack of Sprint, and lack of iron sights.
I know this might sound like I'm being nostalgic but I'm really not.
Not including Sprint and iron sights in the Halo franchise was one of the most critical
decisions Bungie ever made.
The thing that limits a lot of Shooters is the fact that when you're running around the
map you're not actively involved in combat.
In Call of Duty when you're sprinting around the map you aren't ready to shoot somebody
you have to stop, aim, and shoot.
Halo didn't work that way before 343, and they weren't ready for the consequences
that came along with adding Sprint and sights to a Halo game.
All the maps, and combat, itself became clunky and awkward.
It's defended by people that say that it's increasing the speed of gameplay, but that's
actually not true.
It's been tested before, and turns out that the actual Sprint speed of Halo 5 is slower
than the default run speed of Halo 2.
All that sprint does is slow the entire game down and disarm you for most of the time you're
traversing the map.
Sprint is bad enough in my mind, hell it was bad when Bungie did it in Reach.
But that's not where it ends
They added ground pounding and spartan charge so you can just slam into somebody and instant
kill them, which looks really cool.
And it looks great in the trailer, but it's not great in a Halo game.
It's gimmicky and requires that maps be built around these abilities, not compelling
combat in the traditional sense.
One of the core tenants of the Halo franchise is that the multiplayer is fair.
Everyone got fair starts and then 343 thought "Well… maybe we'll add classes like
call of duty.
Well, maybe we'll add killstreaks like call of duty. and you get to this point where there's
just Innovation for innovation's sake.
When something's good you don't need to change it.
Adding things like Spartan abilities that completely dismantle the balance and flow
of the franchise... it's like drawing a mustache on the Mona Lisa Just because you have the
rights to the franchise doesn't mean you need to change it.
There's a reason that the gameplay between Halo CE and Halo 3 hardly changed.
It worked.
As they say if it ain't broke don't fix it... and they tried to fix it.
It really shows that 343 stated that they deliberately hired people that hate Halo,
they meant it.
Halo 5 is a Halo game that is nothing like Halo.
And not in a good way, not in an exciting way, it's just more like any other generic
FPS.
And it's been kind of shameful how little 343 his actually listened to the community.
They have like plenty of events where they reach out to the community, and they seem
like really nice people and making games is hard.
But that doesn't change the fact that they've made serious changes to this franchise that
a majority of players don't like, and still they refuse to budge.
There is no better example of that kind of willful ignorance than their handling of Halo
5's req system.
The req system is essentially your standard lootbox system, but the rewards you get have
a direct and unbalanced impact on the game's PvE mode, like being able to call in a tank.
And now, as a normal person you'd think "wow, that sounds ridiculous, I can't
believe you can pay your way to victory."
That's what I thought.
And this is how 343 addressed that in the trailer.
Concerned about gameplay?
Shut up, kid.
The adults are talking, and it's all about the money now.
Unbelievable right?
I can't help but feel that 343 just forgot that Halo is supposed to be fun.
What good is a campaign if it's full of characters most people find unlikeable?
What good is multiplayer if most everyone disagrees with the changes you made?
And don't just take my word for it, some fans resurrected the classic style of multiplayer
and it gained massive popularity….
Until Microsoft shut it down.
I guess what I'm trying to say is, as a person who grew up playing Halo, and considers
it their favorite gaming franchise ever, 343's halo games feel like an insult to the legacy
of the originals.
They just don't feel like Halo.

No A/C and Starting A New Quilt Series | Week in the Life | Whitney's Tiny Life - Duration: 23:16.
hey everyone it is Tuesday yeah I am terrible at vlogging when we're out of
town and we went Thursday afternoon to my parents house me and the kids and we
stayed Thursday Friday or Thursday evening Friday Saturday Sunday and
Monday morning which was a day longer than I had really intended on staying
but the kids were having fun and we loved hanging out at my parents house so
I didn't do much vlogging or really any vlogging while we were there that's how
it goes but for Friday and Saturday no let's see Thursday night and Friday
we played outside a lot and the kids had a lot of fun there's this trampoline and
Peyton has a little car she can drive that she got from Santa for Christmas
and they have bubble mowers and all sorts of stuff so we had a lot of fun
with those it rained all day Saturday so we decided to go to Costco that day was
my first time going to Costco my dad has a membership card for his company and so
we all went to Costco it was a lot of fun we actually found some really
awesome gluten-free crackers for Peyton she can't eat gluten and crackers are
one of the things that I haven't found an affordable alternative for that she
likes so we got some samples of some at Costco and we really liked them so we
got the box it was only like 5 or 6 dollars for a big box of them so that
was really awesome she's so excited she loves eating them because Payton loves
bread crackers pancakes like all those things and so we've had to try to find
alternatives for all of them I'll do some separate gluten-free videos later
on because I know a lot of people do a struggle with trying to find frugal
affordable gluten free foods and so I do have some tips on those that I
will do in later videos but so anyway we came back Monday and so
yesterday and then I had my work night last night I am starting a new big
project for Whitney Sews that I'm really excited about it's going to be like a
year-long project that I'm going to do a video about once a month for and it's
going to be a quilt along or a sampler sew along as what I'm calling it because
we're gonna do a sampler style quilt I'm really excited about it so I spent all
yesterday evening working on the plans and all the patterns and everything so
I'm really excited about that I did pick up a few fabrics today for it I haven't
found all the fabrics yet so I'll wait till I have all of them to show them and
yeah I'm really excited about that also yesterday a friend of mine texted and
said that he had some large curtains that he needed to get rid of but didn't
want to just donate them he wanted to know if someone could use them and he
thought of me if I could use them for costuming so I said sure I'll take them
you know and I had no idea what to expect
and so his wife brought them by yesterday afternoon and it was ten of
those black garbage bags full of large curtains yeah so I have a ton of new
decorator fabric to play around with some of them are a beautiful purple
fabric that I really love they are a little dirty because my friend got them
because he's remodeling a house and the owner said they didn't want them and so
that he could do whatever he wanted with them so they are a little bit dirty so
I'm going to do a test one by washing it and seeing how it turns out because
they're probably supposed to be dry-cleaned but I cannot even think of
taking all these to the dry cleaners and how much that would cost and stuff and
so I think I'm going to just risk it and try washing them on gentle cold water
see how they turn out I've had a lot of successes with washing upholstery fabric
I've also had one complete failure so we'll see how it
goes but yeah I already have an idea for one of them for a really voluminous- skirt to
go with one of my corsets yeah so hopefully I will get to work on those
soon but a lot of updates I have to get memory bears worked on in the next
few days because there is less than a week left of the month and I promised
these bears to be done by the end of the month so things have kept coming
up we had vacation and then we had the Medieval Faire and then we went out of
town and Skyler's birthday is tomorrow so our party's this weekend so this
month has just been really busy so I got to get to work on those yeah oh and if I
look hot that's because our air conditioner working yesterday we
actually think it's it possibly could working like a week ago but it wasn't
hot enough for us to really realize that it wasn't working properly but yesterday
it definitely quit working the fan on the unit outside was not spinning
there was a smoky smell we don't really know what's going on with it we have a
guy coming tomorrow so today we just have a lot of fans going that's why it's
probably kind of loud we have every fan in the house on high because it's about
85 degrees outside today and so it's a little warm in our house but you know
it'll be fine it definitely could be worse so hopefully the guy who comes
tomorrow will know what needs to be done to fix it and hopefully it'll be an
affordable fix and not like an entire new unit or anything like that um yeah
so kind of seems like when it rains it pours like our washer run out the
air-conditioner ran out some other stuff has been going bad but I'm not letting
it get me down I'm choosing to look at the bright side and be thankful for the
family that just with a new washer and dryer and
thankful that we know someone who knows how to work on air conditioners and
that's who's coming so we're trying to be positive about it
even though life is trying to bring us down right now yeah so anyway I think
that's it for all my updates I will try to show clips of the curtains
and stuff later either in this video or next week's video I already had to put a
lot of them a lot of the bags like stash them around the house because they were
taking up the entire kitchen so I will try to show those at a later time
but right now I have got to get to work on memory bears
here's your water what do you say mama
say thank you thank you
Hi everyone it is Wednesday and I am actually outside today because I need to
clean out my car and it is a long overdue for me to clean it out get rid
of the trash that's in here and yeah so I'm gonna do my once a month grocery
shopping here in just the next few days and I want to make sure I have plenty of
room to put all my groceries and everything in before I go shopping and
we also always keep a stroller in a car so that does take up space and but what
I'm doing also is I have brought out a reusable tote bag that has a change of
clothes for each of the girls there's an extra pair of underwear for Peyton and
extra diaper for Skyler some pony tail holders and things like that just to
make sure if we're ever out somewhere and we need a change of clothes we have them in
the car with us this is something I've been meaning to do for a long time and
we have kept jackets in the car for the kids but we never actually got a spare
pair of clothes put in in the correct size for everybody so we have that as an
option that's especially important now that Peyton is basically potty trained
just in case an accident happens we will be prepared and today is actually
Skyler's birthday she turns two today so I just realized we can turn her carseat
around today if we want to see I just have a lot of stuff to do I'm
going to get to work on the car and then I have to get busy on my bear order
here's how the car looks now not perfect but it's much better I don't have time
to vacuum right now so it still looks dirty and but there is the trash I'm
getting rid of there's our jogging stroller grocery bags blankets the thing
to jump start the car if anything happens to it and then these are some
blankets I'm going to take inside wash and then bring back outside to be in the
car we like to keep some blankets in the car
just in case the kids get chilly and the bottom ones really a dog blanket
so anytime our dogs are with us they have those blankets that blanket and
then we usually bring one other one for the dogs so that they can snuggle up in
those and then in here we have another umbrella stroller and that is in case we
just need to pop Skyler in the stroller just really quickly something
lightweight that can maneuver in and out of stores and things because our jogging
stroller doesn't really fit in stores very well then they have our really
large umbrella that we can actually cover the entire stroller with and then
just a regular umbrella that purple bag is the bag of spare clothes yeah there's
a baby carrier and some jumper cables there as well or a toddler carrier so
that is it I'm pretty happy with the progress so yeah and then I'm about to
go start working on memory bears
hey big girl
okay how old are you I'm asking Sky SKy. Sky Sky how old are you you're
three what's your name Peyton and what's your name Skyler
what's your name no no how old are you
hey everyone it is Thursday and I just finished recording a video for my Whitney Sews channel and then I am about to get started working on memory
bears hopefully I can get two of them finished up today and by finished I
mean the sewing part and then stuffed I won't get the hand sewing done the guy
is supposed to come look at our air conditioner today I didn't work out
yesterday because it rained all day yesterday he's supposed to be here in a
couple of hours so I don't have a whole lot of time yeah and we went shopping
this morning I picked up fabric for a new project that I'm starting it's a big
project it is called a sampler sew along and it's a series that I'm starting over
on my Whitney Sews channel and I'm gonna show you the fabrics I picked out
I did purchase fabrics instead of pulling for my stash because I was not
inspired from my stash I looked through it and it just was not inspiring me so I
decided you know what I have hardly bought any fabric in like a year and a
half so I am going to go out and buy some fabrics
I rarely like this side on a project and then go and buy fabric specifically for
a project so I'm going to show you what I picked out for the dough here
the fabrics I picked they don't look nearly as beautiful on this camera but
this fabric right here is from Hobby Lobby and it has a ton of different
fabrics than I believe there are see 16 different fabrics for different colors
listed and I was having a lot of trouble figuring out inspiration for this
project I just could not figure out what fabrics I wanted to use because it's 12
different traditional quilt blocks that I'll be showing how to do but I knew I
wanted bright colors instead of like the dark colors that you see on like
traditional quilts so when I found this fabric I was so inspired and then I also
picked out these three fabrics at Hobby Lobby while I was there and then I went
to Walmart I know some people hate Walmart fabrics but they're affordable
and it was the closest place to me and that's where I picked out the rest of
these fabrics and so I think it's gonna look really beautiful
and I don't think it matters where you get your fabrics yes other stores have
higher quality fabrics but I'm doing this project for the sake of teaching
others how to do it so I think it's more important for it to be beautiful and
visually inspiring then for me to spend a ton of money on buying the highest
quality materials in the world because let's face it I can't afford that for
one thing and here is a white tone-on-tone fabric that I pulled from
my stash that's going to be all of the light colors for the quilt and then
these I will switch up and use like one different fabric per block and then this
one will get used in a few different blocks and went ahead and bought a yard
of this one which is way more than I need just because I love it and I'll
probably incorporate it into some of the binding and the backing and maybe even
corner stones for the sashing I haven't decided on that yet but that might be a
good idea to include this in the sashing and then these will be the dark fabrics
for the blocks and this is the light fabric II also grabbed one other fabric that goes with this
one I believe they're the same collection but the more I looked at it
the more I decided I didn't love it because this is really like abstract and
then all these other ones are more oh I don't know the word for it but like very
symmetrical and all that like the polka dots and everything whereas this is you
know like hand-painted look so I decided it didn't really fit even though it is
from the same collection but I don't mind I still like it and I got a quarter
yard of these or fat quarters are the ones that I could find so it really
isn't going to take all that much fabric for the project and I am so excited to
start so I can't wait to share the entire series with you all I'll be
posting about one video a month for the series because I don't want to go
overboard and I know some of my subscribers don't love quilting things
and some of them do love quilting things so I thought if I did about one a month
or maybe want to be like three weeks or so that would be like a good amount it
gives me enough time to work on them for one thing and it won't be overwhelming
to the people who don't love quilting so it's kind of like a block of the month
kind of Club and I am really excited about it I spent hours and hours hours
researching traditional quilt blocks and stuff and I found 12 that I really like
and I'm like making all the cutting notes for all everything because I'm I
want to get all of that done ahead of time and so I'm figuring all out for the
cutting details for a 12 inch blocks 12 inch finished so it's going to be large
blocks because that's a good size for practicing piecing practicing techniques
because like my mom's working on a little series quilt thing that she found
on a Facebook group and it was a block a week
and they are 6-inch blocks and some of them had like 30 pieces or something and
there's super tiny pieces and if you don't so I'm like incredibly precisely
they end up off and then you know your block isn't square or it's too small or
whatever and so I did not want you know people I'm teaching how to put these
blocks together to have to go through that because when you're new to quilting
you're not going to be super precise in your piecing and when it's a 12 inch
block and your pieces are larger it doesn't get as complicated that way so
anyway I am really excited about them I wish I could start in on filming the
actual tutorials today but I can't because I have memory bears to work on
and then I have to clean the house because Skyler's birthday party is this
weekend but after that I get to get started on filming for the series and
I'm really excited about it so if you haven't checked out the video yet the
introduction to the series should be up on my main channel by now so it'd be
linked down below so go check it out and let me know what you think about it and
let me know if you are excited about this series - yeah I think that's it for
today

Budget GPU on a laptop over USB type C (AkiTio Node, Omen Accelerator, GT 1030 on Dell XPS 13) - Duration: 8:02.
One of the most popular experiments I have produced on this channel is the time I used
a Chinese dock to connect an external GPU to an ancient netbook over the mini PCIe port.
Ever since I have been wanting to experiment more with other ways of having desktop GPU
on a laptop and lucky for me the market for GPU docks has exploded with plenty of options
for every budget
and ah… hahahahaha.
Who am I kidding, that market is still a bit of mess.
There is a growing number of options for GPU docks that connect to a laptop over USB type
C, but shopping for one of these becomes complicated for a series of reasons.
First, not all type C ports are created equal and as most product pages tend to explain
you need a laptop with type C thunderbolt for this to be possible.
In other words, if your type C port does not have the squiggly sign on it… you are out.
But it gets a bit more complex than that.
Let's start experimenting so you can see what I mean.
First I got here the AKiTiO Node, which I borrowed from the folks at laptopmag
and that boast of being "Finally an affordable eGPU box"
What the… fffffff?
Ammmm?
The device itself is a nice metal box
that comes out like a drawer to reveal
a small Power supply for the GPU and a PCIe slot that connects to the PC over USB type
C. It is super easy to connect the GPU and if connected correctly the laptop picks it
up right away without much trouble.
The metal box itself feels a bit flimsy or cheap considering the price and I can't
help but wonder how difficult it would provide just the electronic components without the
box.
It would be functional although not very stylish.
But talking about the style I also got here the Omen Accelerator,
graciously loaned by my friend Alvaro Nova
and that looks like something out of a Stanley Kubrick epic.
This device comes from the same brands that provide these interesting looking gaming computer
which throws away any concept of space management or practicality
but if you are the fan of the gaming aesthetic you will probably love it.
Even though the weird angle makes installing a larger GPU a pain in the butt.
You are clearly paying for cool looks here rather than easy use so it is not surprised
when this guy's costs…
The same?
Here is the thing, when I started working on this video the Omen was actually cheaper
so… sometimes it is actually a budget choice.
What the heck?
Also, it is not as plug and play as the other guy, so it works best with an app that you
download online and requires some additional drivers
since while the Akitio does not expand the ports in any way
the accelerator adds a bunch of extra USB and ethernet ports.
You can also install a hard drive inside to store your games
and the PSU is user replaceable so it technically it does provide more functionality while being
somewhat cheaper.
At least it justifies the freaking price a bit more.
But as we connect this to the PC it gets a bit more complicated.
You see, while it is true that these devices do work with any laptop with USB type C thunderbolt (theoretically)
not even all thunderbolt enabled ports are made the same.
The only laptop I have available for this is the Dell XPS 13, also loaned by LaptopMag
for a feature that I wrote for them.
While this laptop has the aforementioned Thunderbolt port it is limited to only 2 PCIe lanes.
Quick explanation for those scratching their heads:
There are PCIe ports, the thing where the graphics card goes to.
In super simplified layman terms lanes is the amount of connections they have the CPU.
These usually have 16, these usually have 1.
The more connections, the more bandwidth there is to send data back and forward from the
GPU.
The main observation people had of my old video is that mini PCIe was limited to 2 lanes
versus the 16 that a GPU normalize uses which means that the GPU was likely not being used
to its full potential.
Now, Thunderbolt 3 USB type C ports are subject to the same limitations but unlike a full
motherboard PCIe you cannot really visual tell how many lanes can you expect...
for that you have to go hunting for the specifications and there it is.
What this means in practice is that GPUs we connect to these things is not going to be
used to its full capacity, as it will hit a bandwidth bottleneck before that happens.
Is that a complete deal breaker?
To find out I connected both enclosures to a mighty...
GT 1030.
This is the LowSpecGamer after all.
Look at how funny the tiny thing looks in this gigantic enclosures.
Technically this GPU is outside the range of supported devices for both of these but
it actually works without much trouble.
I then tested 4 game benchmarks, Counter-Strike Global Offensive, Assassin's Creed Origins,
Final Fantasy 15 and Far Cry 5, all on their lowest settings and compared to running the benchmarks
on my Ryzen 3 system from a previous video that have will not suffer from any bandwidth
issues.
If you are interested in the full results or further testing with a better GPU I recommend
you take a look at the article I wrote on LaptopMag on this matter, linked in the description,
but in a nutshell, there was between a 25% to 7% impact in performance due to the bandwidth.
Is that a deal breaker?
Well... here is the thing, the XPS 13 comes equipped with an Intel HD GPU that cannot
do games Assassin's Creed Origins or Final Fantasy XV, even with some dramatic graphical
changes
and the external GT 1030 while bandwidth limited stills allow these games to be run at least
30 fps so... an enclosure can still dramatically increase the range of titles a laptop can
play.
But, as previously mentioned, the GT 1030 is slightly outside the range of supposedly
compatible GPUs.
What if we connect something far outside that group?
This is GTX 460 a mid-range GPU from 2010.
This is not even close to anything on the compatibility list
and as expected the Omen accelerator just refused to accept the old thing
but the Akitio just took it and after a driver install it was working.
The old drivers and lack of VRAM I think caused so graphical weirdness
but less demanding games worked just fine.
Ok, so now I am curious.
What is the oldest GPU I own that I can try?
How about this GTX 260 from 2009.
Well...
It is detected but the driver fails to install.
It still went way farther than I expected.
Ok, so which one is better?
I don't know.
Look I am delighted to see how the industry supported ways of connecting external GPUs on laptops
And I am glad to see how these technologies are evoling I just feel the concept has not quite reached its full potential.
There is no true budget oriented or even smaller options.
AkiTio is almost there with a very simple product that is easy to use and has wide compatibility
but is weirdly expensive and Omen has all this crazy options and aesthetics but even
though it is cheaper
it is still pretty expensive for an enclosure where you still need to supply your own GPU,
no to mention the limited compatibility and it is just so big.
It is my hope that it is a matter of time before new options show up and this idea gets
more attention.
Interesting things are already showing up little by little by smaller companies, such
as this tiny portable device that already includes a 1050 onboard that recently hit
Kickstarter and that I am keeping on my radar.
What do you think?
Are external GPUs on laptops a dying fad or just getting started?
Let me know.

#LetsBeFrank - DUO Family (with Rick Shiels) Pt. I - Duration: 2:12.
Hi guys welcome down to Wilson HQ! And we are here with the expert in golf ball
technology, we're here with Frank, pleasure to spend some time. Great to
be here. Frank's been here for 27 years , making
golf ball technology for 27 years. He's gonna talk about the new line of golf
balls that Wilson are bringing out. I've tested some Wilson already I've
been incredibly impressed with the most recent range but this is a brand new
golf ball. Is it two balls? Actually we're coming out with two balls we're
coming out with a two piece and a three piece. It's the next generation in low
compression technology. The new DUO Soft and the DUO Soft Spin golf ball. So
what we've done is we've taken the previous DUO, great ball, maintain the
compression, 29 compression world's softest golf ball and it's a bit of
background we have tested compression for years, soft feel, and we have always
found that regardless of the comparison whether you're going 80 versus 70, 80
versus 50, 50 versus thirty. Roughly two-thirds to three-quarters of people
will prefer the softer ball in blind testing. Oh really? Just straight out? Just
straight out and you've got the softest in the world? We have the softest ball in
the world. So, the ball comes in at 29 compression. But, what we've done
different than the DUO golf ball is we've increased the core size which
would gout last a little better velocity, a little longer distance. We've softened
the cover up slightly which we're able to do with the larger core and we
maintain compression at 29, but we add a little bit of spin rate on approach
shots. And, most importantly to add distance, we have adjusted the dimple
pattern. Now, the dimple pattern still has the same 302 dimples, seamless dimple
pattern. I'll take your word for that. We can dot them if you'd like to count. But, what we've done is we've
shallowed up the dimples a bit and we're making our tooling with a new process
which allows us to increase the trajectory of the ball. We get longer
carry distance, longer total distance. Remember to submit your questions using
#LetsBeFrank. We prefer golf ball questions but any
questions are fine. Also remember to follow me on Twitter

How Do I Download Dropbox To My Computer - Duration: 9:10.
Hey, welcome back to the Six Figure Mastermind. Now if you've been watching
our channel you know that we've been talking about Dropbox before and you
know it's going to be an essential for your business but you've got to start
somewhere. So let's go through the tutorial of how to actually get it on
your computer.
Hi my name is Tony Soderquist and I just been hearing so much about dropboxes
recently and I have heard they are cool and safe. I don't know for sure at all
but I just learned how important are they? Let's talk Dropbox . Okay, if you've
watched any of our other videos, you've seen how Dropbox works, why you should
use it, why it's good you know, not just for your business but even for your
personal items, for photos and for documents and things you need to share
and also things that you need to share with your own devices. You know maybe
from your phone to your computer and vice versa and maybe you have some
co-workers that you need to share your documents with and you're working on a
collaboration or a product you know, I have an Instagram account and I love
using Dropbox from my Instagram account because I can take super high quality
photos with my a huge big fat you know ten thousand dollar camera right? And I
can put them on Dropbox and then I can use Dropbox to send them over to my Droppbox
app on my phone and then I can post my own Instagram.
Okay so this is great for Instagram, great for all other businesses. You know
one reason you're going to want to do that for Instagram is because not all your
photos on Instagram are going to come from your iPhone. You wanted it to be top quality
right? So we got to get them to your phone somehow without having to you know
take your phone and plug it into your computer and sync everything up and wait
for all that to download. I'm all about automation and this is a great way to do
it. So today we're just going to walk through a standard, very simple easy
tutorial about how to get Dropbox. Talking to your computer and actually on
there and going okay? So, go ahead and next to this window either right or left
or wherever you want, open up a brand new browser so we can do this thing together.
I'll walk you through it step-by-step. Okay, so you can see my screen right here.
It's just dropbox.com and this is the screen as I've already logged in. So if
you don't have a Dropbox account, it's super easy to set one up. Do that real
quick if you need to pause the video to do that, go for it.
But if you already are just signed in this is what you're gonna see okay so
this is a brand new screen right here. It's got very simple features that's one
of the thing I love about Dropbox is how the interface is clean, it's simple, it's
just easy and user-friendly and there's cute
graphics of little puppies on there oh that's fun.
Okay, so if we go down to the bottom here, there's this little 3 dot thingy says
table overflow, if you click on that you're going to see install. Now you do
need to have Dropbox installed on your computer otherwise, you're going to be
dragging and dropping from the Internet to your hard drive and back and forth. If
you just install it on your computer, It's going to save you a ton of time. I mean
I'm all about automation right? Just get things clear and automated from the
get-go. So you're going to click install okay? Another tab is going to pop up. Tada!
Download Dropbox. Like I said, very easy very straightforward very simple. Click it,
it's going to start downloading to your computer. It's for this one it's going to
say Dropbox installer exe. If you're on a PC, you're going to click on that. It may
look different on a Mac, forgive me I'm not on my mac. I know don't worry
about it, ok? Yes you want to allow apps to make changes to your device. Click yes
there. It's doing it's initializing thing. It's installing. Again, if you're using a
mac which I'm going to be honest, I would rather be using a mac. I'm on a PC today
so you know that's where we're headed. I've got some total brand loyalty to mac.
I use everything apple but I wanted to show you this as well. But this process
is pretty much the same for both worlds. On a mac you're just going to hit install
and you're going to right click and just install it to your hard drive. Most
computers will ask you, "hey are you sure you want to trust this app from this
developer?" Don't worry about that. That's just the computers way of keeping
you safe, keeping your computer virus free and just you know keep getting rid
of all the junk that's on there. Heads up when you do that because every
time you download an app, it's going to ask you if you know, it's okay with you
that it has access to your hard drive. And a lot of apps that are fraudulent,
they may or may not show that so remember, whenever you're installing a
new software or a new hardware to just remember who it's from and yeah if it's
obviously, if you're downloading from Dropbox allow Dropbox, but if you
suddenly see one pop-up on your computer, I've had this happen to
me you know half a dozen times. Where I'll see, "hey this this software wants
your permission to install in the computer." And I'm like, I never went to
that website. I don't know what you're talking about. So obviously my computer
do me a favor and I'm going to click no on that. Okay so we're just going to let this
install and we won't waste your time. So we're just going to cut back to this as
soon as that's done. Okay, tada! it's on and you can tell because usually it'll
pop up this window that says set up Dropbox. This is just where you're going
to configure everything and make sure it's all talking to the same account. The
cool thing about having Dropbox right on your computer
is that, once again, you won't have to sign in every time you use it. Which is
handy and I'm just going to connect my account here. If you don't have a gmail
account, I don't know what platform you're using but you're going to want to
have a gmail account because just as this example is with Dropbox. A lot of
people use gmail accounts. A lot of businesses like Dropbox or MailChimp or
any other software that you're going to be using or programs or apps that you're
going to be using. They connect to gmail. So get a gmail account if you don't already
have one. "Hey congratulations your Dropbox
is successfully installed. Now you can add your personal Dropbox."
Whoo-hoo awesome! So I'm going to go ahead and skip that. I don't really need to do
that. Now it's going to say, "welcome to Dropbox. We're going to click get started. Okay,
Dropbox is actually a folder on your computer. So if I were to open up this
little folder tab here, I'm going to see
Dropbox usually on the side there, on the mac it'll show up in this sidebar over
on this side right here. Let's just go through this tutorial and see what it
looks like. So we're going to click next. Put your files and Dropbox. This is why you
want on a computer. Once you put your file or your template or your video or
whatever document. Once you put it in the Dropbox folder on your computer, your
computer's going to automate it for you. You don't have to say, "now put this on
the internet." It's now available whoever has access to your Dropbox.
Whether you're accessing it through your phone or accessing it with another
person or whatever. It's automatically done for you. That's why I love it. Okay,
click next. Everything is dropped off in private
unless you want to share it and you can drag and drop the first file Dropbox
folder. Finish. Okay, now it's going to walk me over here. Tada! linked to Marianne DeNovellis
to Dropbox. Very cool. Okay, so now look over here.
We've got Dropbox now as a separate file on our computer, alright?
You can see the little open cardboard box symbol. So if I have
anything on here, let's say well I have this recording of my mom and dad reading
a story and that's a huge treasure for me. Let's say I want to share that with
all of my siblings. All I would need to do is click on this and drag it and move
it to my Dropbox, okay? Okay, now we've got that in my Dropbox and if I were to go
to my Dropbox online, never refresh that. If I were to go to my Dropbox online and
go to my personal Dropbox, then I could then share that file with anyone that I
wanted to. I could send that file to all my siblings and using their email
addresses and they would be able to open that up and see it and download it from
Dropbox to their computer. So I can share it personally through you know for a
family function or something that I'm doing in my own personal life or I can
use it to you know collaborate and share files and share PDFs and share documents
so that everyone can see it. Once I put in the Dropbox I'll do a courtesy and
send out an email or a text and say, "hey check your Dropbox I just sent you this
link or whatever it is and then all of my team has instant access to it.
So again Dropbox is super easy to install. Very simple to use and you will
find that most six-figure businesses and above, are using this software so go
ahead and download it on your computer right now. Awesome! I hope that tutorial
was helpful for you. So if there's anything else that you want to know to
build your six figure mastermind business, whether it's social media
whether it's online platforms whatever you're wanting help with, leave me a
comment below. I'd love to make a video especially for you. Hit the subscribe

Tutorial | Review | Affordable Makeup Revolution Metallic Glam Makeup Look + Thoughts - Duration: 16:10.
hi everyone and welcome back to my channel so today I'm going to be doing a
this makeup look which is mostly using a lot of makeup revolution products I'm
also going to be talking about a couple of the products that I use my thoughts
on them my thoughts on the brand as a whole and yeah if you like to see how
I created this makeup look then please keep watching. so I'm mostly going
to be using makeup revolution stuff and I definitely want to test out this fast
base stick foundation I feel like with most stick foundations I'm not really a
fan of them because they tend to be quite heavy coverage and also they kind
of crease a lot and feel a bit greasy and get a bit shiny especially with me
with combination skin the two makeup revolution at base products I'm going to
be using are the fast base in f8 and then also the concealed and define in C8
and lately I've been favoring the method where I put a primer on my
eyelids first because this will never fail me and it stops my eyeshadow from
creasing and then I kind of do my base kind of go over my eyelid area with my
base whatevers left on the sponge and then I do my eye shadow it kind of like changes
I just switch up depending on what the look is, what I'm experimenting with so
I'm just gonna use this Primark brush I
just realized that one of my lights weren't on
so thats why I was a bit in the dark now that I have my eyes primes I'm gonna go
and prime my face because I do feel like with the fast base foundation I want to
need a bit of priming so I'm going to use NYX throw some control or drop
primer it's meant to help the oil control stuff hopefully that should help
with it was this tutorial I'm just gonna put on my finger tips make of that and I
just put around my nose area really maybe I run my forehead a bit too now
that my face and what eyes are crying I'm gonna go in with the last base stick
foundation for makeup revolution and I chose a shade F8 because I felt like all
the concealers and I tried that came up before this foundation C8 it was
probably the closest to my skin tone even though it wasn't as olive as I'd
like it to be like the other ones I'd like it to be but it was the closest so
how it works is you choose at the foundation that's closest to your
concealer shade and I chose f/8
so like with most expand Dacians it will accentuate any texture on your skin so
this means why I prefer to kind of use liquid foundations but I'm just gonna
just go in hard with it I'm just gonna blend it with why is a mess go up
highlighter brush which kind of is my favorite to kind of use okay coverage
wires it's obviously a very heavy coverage but and that's because I kind
of went hard on it
it isn't as warm toned as I'd like it to me but I'm gonna see if I could make it
work next I'm going to use this c8 concealer
and like I said it's not my exact match that I prefer Pro concealer but it's the
closest out of the range and they all supposed to be releasing more I do love
this concealer so far from what I've tried a bit I'm just gonna quickly set
this with the makeup revolution banana powder which personally I haven't had
great experience with I've taken out for this video to kind of needs of many
makeup revolution products as possible but I feel like it gives me a dark cast
under my eyes which is kind of opposite of what I'm going for
and then I'm gonna dab the excess on my eyelids I want to use the LA girl shady
slim brow pencil I'm just gonna brush out my brows first
and then I'm gonna clean up my brows a little bit there conceal and define
concealer next I'm gonna go in with that iconic female palette and I'm just gonna
go over with this shade here adding it above my crease it was just like a hint
darker than my natural eyelid color I think I might go in all over this so
tiny olive color I'm going to take the two one seven brush and use that kind of
brownie right in the corner I'm going to add it to the outer corner of my eye and
just blend it a bit next I'm gonna take the star of the show which is this
flawless foil eyeshadow in the shade retreat it's like a greeny olive golden
color and I'm gonna use my finger to apply it it's a very squidgy textures
kind of a wet formula feels like a bit cool to the touch but I feel like with
the fingers it works best when you use these eyeshadows and you're using it
with your finger or even with a brush it's best to kind of sweep along and you
get more of a fold a look on the eyelid and then as I get closer to my crease I
kind of just dub of the excess left for my finger it does come up with a
intensifying primer which is kind of like an oil that's a shade retreat
without the power and then with the prime mother like it kind of sheers it
out a bit more it is looking a bit crazy right now so what I'm going to do is go
in with the brown shade it was the two one seven brush on the outer corner of
the eye I'm kind of burned into the crease and upwards and then going in
with a sigma brush and just cleaning it up up I'm gonna want to go in with the
Engler gel liner
then I'm going to take for this scandalized I pencil in the shade brown
and just go lie on my bottom lash line then before it's set use your finger to
just kind of burned out the lips I learn a shade I can't find my River one but we
more do have a nude pencil like this Urban Decay lines you know what I want
to further do is just go in with a small detailer brush the morphe M 506 and I'm
gonna go in with that corner shade again and just lightly kind of smoke out the
bottom a bit to further intensify the cream I'm going to go in with that dark
color there and it just intensifies from there just defines the eye a bit more
from the point of your eyeliner and then you blend out the next I'm using this
Maybelline mascara which usually works great on a day to day basis but I feel
like I might need lashes with this heavy eyeliner look bring some walk back to my
face and I think I'm gonna use this shade from the next palette just go in
it with my contour and then here's a bit of that banana shade from the next
palette and just kind of got over the areas that I feel I want to brighten
only use the makeup revolution a liquid highlighter I do prefer the nipple of a
blonde if I'm honest because it's less metallic but I'm gonna use it for the
purpose of this tutorial to kind of keep it as a one brand as possible just in
case you want to spend within one brand spread it out a bit till it looks like
your lat and then I like to take my BT sponge and dab dab dab on the back of my
hand until
spit blended and then I kind of dug the lightly on the top of my cheekbones it's
kind of more than natural side which I prefer and it brings back a bit of life
to the skin that way it looks a bit too much sometimes and then I'm also going
to use something that is kind of a bit new the machi highlighter palette and
I'm going to use this shade here and then last but not least I am going to
use the retro luxe matte and it clear in the shade Noble
and I've noticed that with a lot of makeup revolution products the outer
packaging doesn't seem to match the inside so just be wary of that if you're
like shopping and Superdrug and don't know what shade when you're
trying to go buy that shake because it does not look anything like that shade
but that looks like a kind of all easily Brown to me but if I show you what Noble
looks like inside like those two don't look the same to me then yeah what I
find a makeup revolution is best to definitely go for swatches rather than
looking at the packaging in zip code for example so this is that what I'm going
to be using
these are the newer maker evolution lip pencils and I have switched them over on
my Instagram but I personally prefer the formula of these ones in the lip kit I
love this shade and no more kind of is like a trendsetter kind of color that is
like my favorite kind of nude it's not really a nude but this my favorite kind
of rusty nude one thing that I've noticed again with the makeup revolution
matte lip kit is they don't fully correspond to the lip liner so if I just
show you this lip liner is kind of a bit more on that orange side and this is
kind of more than peachy side but they're not exactly the same shades when
you get the lipstick and the lip planner together the applicators kind of been so
I'm not really sure what that's about but makeup revolution will obviously fix
that hopefully so I'm gonna wait for that to dry down and in the meantime I'm
gonna get some lashes on I'm gonna use these Eldora lashes which are the ones
in the middle the top are Auto and the bottom are some eBay ones that I found
so they're in a blog post I did actually so you can check out the users do i
brush-on glue because it is iridescent and iridescent glues are the best glues
in my opinion if you watch my get ready with me with eye shadow and you'll know
that I love iridescent glued they're very sticky and they kind of just last
longer on why awkward to shaped eyes so yeah this is my kind of affordable
makeup look and I hope you enjoyed watching I'm gonna give a couple pros
and cons to a couple products that I've used in this makeup look and also in
general from makeup revolution and I have to say that my least favorite is
probably actually the fast base foundation because the color isn't
completely in line with my shade although it's workable the coverage is a
bit too much any kind of I feel like it kind of does accentuate my flaws or like
my imperfections a bit more which I'm not really keen on and it does settle in
lines if you obviously use a bit heavily and if you can see but like there's
lines across my forehead it's a bit of like texture on my forehead as well
since I've had my son I've had a bit of
texture on my skin which I never had before
also my pores are a bit more visible even though I did use a primer with this
foundation so this one's probably one of these favorite makeup revolution product
in this in terms of if you have flawless skin already or if you really really
love full coverage or stick foundations then obviously this is a very affordable
options the start of this tutorial is definitely the flawless finish I foil it
is very very pigmented it is super super shiny we have the shade retreat here
which is the shade that I'm wearing on my eyelids right now and then we have a
rose gold shade which is called rebound and then we have this shade which is
called overcome so yeah these are the swatches of my three favorite shades out
of the range but I do have all of the swatches on my Instagram I could not
follow me and Instagram then you really need to because I will way more active
on there of all my social media platforms but I definitely would
recommend these because they're again very affordable really good-quality if
you know how to use it especially if you like kind of to go all out with your eye
shadow like this that can still undefined concealer it's supposed to be
like a dupe of dirt tarp shaped tape which I'm not tried yet but I really do
like it and I kind of love it the consistency of it I love the coverage of
it so even though it's not exactly the shade that I would choose as a for
concealer like I prefer the Maybelline nude which has a bit of an olive miss to
it it still is workable and this is the shade C 8 their eyeshadow that I've used
today is much better than the part that I used back in 2014 and generally
they've just been duping a whole bunch of other high-end brands which is what
they kind of known for I recently picked up this iconic
fimA eyeshadow palette which looks like this and I have to say the shades are
amazing the pigmentation is amazing I just show you it's definitely quite
pigmented and if I show you some of the shimmers as well so that gets full marks
for me as well these are meant to be like dupes of the cover FX liquid
highlighting drops and I don't know I can't really compare but I do have an
iconic London one is pretty similar tonight
it's quite metallic the banana pilot surprisingly isn't looking too dark
under my eye maybe because I put the highlighter around that area to kind of
bring that life back to my skin but but don't generally like the banana powder
because I don't whether bend I want either anymore I prefer the laura
mercier translucent so they make a jeep of that I'm all over it
yeah overall I'm quite impressed with the quality of their products they were
very inclusive but they're ranged and very affordable they've got so many
Jeeps of so many high-end brands this matte
lip kit is supposed to be like a KY sort of Jeep it's actually better in a lot
more ways than the Kylie lip kit but the only problem is with makeup revolution I
find a lot of discrepancies between their packaging and actual product so
for example this is the shade Noble and that's the shade that it looks like in
the packaging but it's actually this color that I'm wearing on my lips so it
doesn't anything like that in my opinion and all that at the top of there so it
is definitely more the color that you get on the end of the pencil so just
bear that in mind if you watch something within a superdrug because it's not
actually that shade you want to check the swatches if they are available
online or if you see any tutorials using it then make a note of the shade because
it won't be the shade that's on the packaging so yeah those are my thoughts
on at the makeup revolution products that I use in this makeup look and in
general as well they're on a roll when it comes to releasing products they are
very on-trend they're just churning out all these
products that are actually really amazing quality for the price that you
pay so many shade ranges for like their concealers and also their foundations so
it's definitely worth checking out and it's so affordable as well so I'm happy
that there's a brand like this on the market yeah like oh whoa I think they're
just killing it right now so if you want to see more videos where I kind of do a
chatty talk through like this then obviously let me know I'd love to know
what you guys think of the brand as well please do comment below and let me know
what you think of certain product how it works for you hope you enjoy this video
if you did then give it a thumbs up and obviously subscribe share with your
friends if you want so until next time oh that is quite bright isn't it
dumping off don't oh yeah chance where proof

If you liked, subscribe to the channel, leave your like and leave your comments so I can try to help you if you have any questions.

AR, VR and Virtual Intelligence | SOLIDWORKS WORLD 2018 - Duration: 11:59.
hi my name is David Randall I am part of the SolidWorks team I'm actually on the
strategy team with inside SolidWorks and I focusing currently on topics
surrounding augmented and virtual reality artificial intelligence and
communities as well I really look forward to talking with you about how
all these trends are going to impact not only us within SolidWorks but other
people within our industry as well so augmented and virtual reality so I'll
explain a little bit first about the difference and also why there's similar
technologies and why we categorize them actually as a fairly new term which is
called extended reality or XR augmented reality talks about scenarios where you
can place digital content into the real world as an overlay you can do this via
different headsets that are available like view 6 and meta and the hololens
from Microsoft as examples we can also do it via devices like iPads iPhones
other tablets so these are ways that you can overlay something for tool whether
it's a 2d object or 3d object into the real world the other is virtual reality
where it immerses you into an entirely digital world so instead of overlaying
stuff into the real world you are now literally inside an entirely virtual
space so there are very related technologies they typically tend to have
the same workflow in terms of how you get content into those environments but
they're for different use cases and they serve different purposes so that's the
difference there when I talk about X our extended reality I'm talking about both
of those at once and we do that because again the pipelines to get data into
both is very similar I think these are going to be very fundamental tools to
improve design engineering and ultimately our culture's moving forward
both internally within SolidWorks as well as for our customers you know
when we talk competitively our competitors are doing stuff in the space
as well so generally speaking we see these tech these technologies really
advancing our capabilities as a race significantly some examples to talk
about are you know some workflows that our customers have told us are really
important to them and so those are areas where we're focusing on specifically one
of those is pre-sales sales and marketing use cases so people come to us
saying we're already designing and engineering and ultimately even
manufacturing your products using the SolidWorks pipeline but now we want to
use that the same tools and that same process to start selling and marketing
our designs and our products as well and there's not a real good way to do that
you know you can generate still images with visualize or animations things like
that but people want to take it to another level people want to immerse
their their customers into much more emotional experiences and that's where
AR and VR come into play so so that's one of the main use cases we're focusing
on another big use case we're focusing on is obviously design review very
natural for designers engineers to do as they're developing a design so that
allows you to understand interact perceive something that you're inventing
in a much more realistic manner because it's presented to scale it's presented
in context in a particular environment and you can just get a much better
perspective of of that overall design or object or even multiple objects if you
will how they're connected part of this as well leads into collaboration so one
of the beauties of AR and VR is that they are really tied nicely into
collaborative environments where you can start to allow multiple people either
either internal stakeholders or customers or whoever from all around the
world or in different office buildings to come together in one space to talk
about and evaluate a single design or a single topic and there's a lot of value
in that and there's not really been anything besides things like Skype and
GoToMeeting and things like that are very 2d that allow you to have such a
meaningful conversation around it object so we really think collaboration
is going to be a big part of the next wave of AR and VR lastly we've been
getting a lot of feedback that people want to use that same design process so
the idea of making a model evaluating it simulating it and ultimately getting it
ready for production to also train their users or train their customers on you
know so there's a lot of complex complex machines complex locations where things
get installed complicated devices that require training and you know it's been
proven that interacting with a virtual object that's 3d you know that that
reacts to the changes that you make or reacts to the steps that you perform
leads to much better retention in that education so we're getting a lot of
feedback that people want to use that same process and establish training data
or training sets or training exercises as well one of the really cool things
when we talk about these three main workflows is that literally today on the
show floor amongst our partners with a full ecosystem of partners that are
supporting a new data pipeline that we just announced today called extended
reality from SolidWorks which exports a particular file format called gltf and
that gltf file is supported by all these partners to actually take that data
right out of SolidWorks and build amazing applications that do
training that dues pre-sales and marketing that do collaboration that do
design review all based off of your SolidWorks data so that's a very
relevant topic today you know and that's I think it's cool that I get to share
that information with you because it's fresh obviously there's going to be a
bright future behind us we're literally just getting the momentum going with
these technologies where we're just starting to kind of use our brand
influence to build an ecosystem to kind of drive this forward and that's bigger
than us which I love you know this is it's more important than solving our our
own needs or our customers needs it's about moving the whole industry forward
and moving you know ultimately humanity for with
better tools to do better things safer things do things quicker do things more
effectively do things more efficiently so on and so forth you know ultimately
we want a table our audience to build a future now including you guys so the
other topic I'm really excited and I consider myself very lucky actually to
be one of the few within at least our company that gets to start exploring
this topic is AI or artificial intelligence it's a very relevant topic
you're starting to hear it pop up when people refer to technologies that the
Big Five are investing in like Facebook Google Apple Microsoft Amazon with Alexa
so it's it's it's it's one of those trends that's really starting to amplify
very quickly and I'm very fortunate I just came out of a course specifically
on AI actually so I have a I was very inspired about this topic and I can now
apply it directly to to our business a lot of what we're doing is very early
you know we're talking about doing early research we're trying to identify
opportunities to differentiate ourselves with artificial intelligence both in
terms of our customers and our interactions and providing services to
our users in the products as well and then within our business so in my
opinion artificial intelligence has the opportunity to affect literally our
whole business and ultimately our whole ecosystem that surrounds us and the
industry as a whole you know it's going to be I think one of the more impactful
technologies that that affects our generation now in moving forward so I
can't speak to specific examples of what we're doing with AI there's a lot of
opportunities we've identified there's a lot of dreams we have on what we think
we can do with AI and how we think we can make accelerate building the future
now so you know that's already saying we're doing it now but we think we can
even make that faster and smarter with the right applications but you know to
give a few examples there's things we can do with our community interactions
such as understanding our users better and being able to serve our users more
relevant content smarter content help them when they
when they need help the right way versus having them you know self discover or go
and find that help themselves there's things we can do in terms of making
recommendations for what they should do next based on what they've done in the
past and this is just scratching the surface these are very just a few
examples of what we think we can do with regard to our community and our and our
services through AI the next big thing is within our software tools you know we
have a breadth of software tools everything from CAD creation to
simulation to visualization ai is going to affect every one of those tools and
we can do things like make suggestions to improve the design to reduce the
weight to make it stronger in fact we saw an example of that today as well
with one of our partners who showed the live model it's from desktop metal or
life part that's what it's called I'm sorry so live part from desktop metal
starts to incorporate artificial intelligence into the construction of a
very intelligent design which takes into account you know the effect of pressure
and forces over time versus just statically and it makes something
account for a range of forces versus just a particular load that's one
example of how that's going to affect products you know we can do things like
recommend what things work to construct the perfect image or the perfect
rendering of a car for someone you know and if somebody doesn't know what those
settings are we can say hey this worked but these settings worked for this user
to generate this result we think that you could do the same with these
settings and that's not just revelation that could be for other areas of the
portfolio as well and so and then there's our business as well which I
can't speak much about that yet but there's vast areas internally within our
business that we think AI can can impact including optimizing our business
systems optimizing the way we store and handle data security safety
you know things like M&A research you name it you know there's all sorts of
aspects to our business that can be improved by AI again we're just we're
not even scratching the surface yet I don't know what we're doing is whatever
is before scratching the surface so we're just getting into it but we see a
tremendous tremendously bright future with with introducing these technologies
and to where he goes
you
