Dogs VS Cats - Which One Is The Superior Species? - Duration: 5:51.

We live in a fast-paced world, which demands our attention and can easily wear us out.

There are many ways to reduce the stress that daily life brings, and one of the best ways

is to own a pet.

A pet constantly gives love and gratitude, they can provide entertainment, and they're

happy just being in your presence.

With so many different types of pets to choose from - whether its fish, birds, rabbits, or

gerbils - the decision could be overwhelming, but today we're going to focus on the two

most beloved domesticated animals on the planet, in this episode of the The Infographics Show:

Dogs vs Cats.

According to a 2013 Live Science report, freshwater fish are the most common pet with 142 million

freshwater fish owned as pets around the world.

Cats come in second at 88.3 million, and dogs close behind at 74.8 million.

But let's face it; if your reason for wanting a pet is fun and companionship, then you're

likely looking for either a cat or dog.

Which you chose will come down to your personality, the time you have to dedicate to your new

friend, and the space you have to house your pet.

Cats are more independent and generally less demanding, whereas dogs are loyal and obedient

but require more attention and exercise, including regular walks.

Dogs live between 12 to 18 years and cats can live as old as 25.

That's 25 human years, but in cat years that's the grand old age of 116!

Looking back in time at these canine and feline rivals, British newspaper, The Independent,

published information from a groundbreaking study of 2,000 ancient fossils of dogs and

cats.

The study revealed that the cat family has historically been much better at surviving

than the dog clan, and often at the latter's expense.

The study showed that cats have played a major role in making 40 dog species extinct, outcompeting

them for scarce food supplies because they are generally more effective hunters.

And there was no evidence that dogs have wiped out a single cat species.

That's sure to anger you dog lovers, but that was long in the past and nearly all of

todays dogs and cats are domesticated, which is why we love to spend time with them.

So if you're in the market for a pet, how do you choose between a feline friend or canine

companion?

Let's see if we can help.

First, it's good to consider how much time you can dedicate to your pet.

Dogs require more time than cats, and they don't like to be left home alone.

Both come with different price tags.

Dogs are more expensive than cats, but there's always the option of visiting the pound and

taking on a rescue animal.

Some cats live their life indoors and require a litter tray, whereas others will stay out,

only coming in for food.

When choosing a dog, consider its size.

Larger dogs, like German Shepherds or Labradors, need more space and cost more to feed.

And when it comes to mood, dogs are more needy and affectionate.

Cats on the other hand are more independent, though it varies by breed.

For example, Siamese cats are intelligent and playful, but can be noisy, while longhaired

cats are laid back and shorthaired cats are generally affectionate.

And as individuals, both cats and dogs have different personalities, so interact with

them before taking them home to see if you can be buddies.

That might help you choose, but there's more to take in to account when your pet joins

you at home.

What about other considerations of day-to-day life with your new dog or cat?

Feeding - Animals all need feeding and because you'll be feeding them, they'll be your

BFF.

The amount a cat needs to eat varies depending on its size, but cats require less food than

pretty much all dogs, unless you're shopping for one of those tiny little toy dogs, that

some folks carry around in their handbag.

Cat food comes in dry or canned wet form and adult cats require between 250 and 300 calories

per day.

You can also feed your cat fish, such as canned tuna, as a treat now and then, but if it makes

up a large part of their diet, they are at risk of thiamine deficiency.

How much a dog eats depends on its size.

Commercial dog food comes in both dry and wet forms, and most dogs need between 25 and

30 calories per pound per day.

Dogs of course love bones but don't give your dog cooked bones because cooked bones

may splinter and injure their intestines.

And another danger food for dogs is chocolate.

For humans, it's a pleasurable treat but it can poison a dog.

Grooming - Cats famously do not like water, but luckily they do not need bathing, though

they should be brushed regularly, especially if they have long hair.

Most cats enjoy the activity as it relieves any itchiness, particularly during the hot

months.

As for dogs, they need grooming and bathing regularly, especially those with long hair.

In the summer, dogs will shed and lose their coat, so grooming aids this process, and if

you don't take the time to clean your dog, he or she will soon start to stink up your

entire house.

Health & Hygiene - Both cats and dogs can get infected with ticks, lice, fleas and other

parasites.

When this happens, disinfectants like Frontline or Advantix are required to clear the pet

of infection, though Advantix is used only on dogs because it is very dangerous for cats.

Frequent grooming and bathing will help to avoid these outbreaks, as will visiting the

vet regularly, to ensure the pets injections are up to date and other health checkups are

carried out.

House Training - Cats can easily be trained to use their litter-box.

This requires cleaning once a day.

But other than that, they tend to keep themselves to themselves.

A dog on the other hand, needs to be trained, socialized, and housebroken.

Training usually takes around 2 months and according to The Dog Whisperer, Cesar Milan,

the 5 essential commands your dog must learn are sit, come, down, stay, and leave it.

At the end og the day, dogs are for some people and cats for others.

If you spend a lot of time away from home, then maybe a cat is best, but if you have

a big house and yard and like a pet to stand guard, then you're probably more suited

to own a dog.

Today we will have a look at the decoration addon for

Minecraft Windows 10 edition and Pocket Edition.

This addon adds 11 new items to Minecraft, which are all decoration related.

They fit perfectly for modern houses, since they are all quite modern.

Almost all of the items replace mob heads.

For an example, the TV replaces creeper heads.

You can place the items really easily, and they can be rotated, just like mob heads.

This addon also changes the design of beds.

They now look bigger, with a really nice 3D model.

Overall, this addon is great.

It makes building modern houses in Minecraft much more fun.

You can make your house feel much more alive and realistic.

todays dogs and cats are domesticated, which is why we love to spend time with them.

So if you're in the market for a pet, how do you choose between a feline friend or canine

companion?

Let's see if we can help.

First, it's good to consider how much time you can dedicate to your pet.

Dogs require more time than cats, and they don't like to be left home alone.

Both come with different price tags.

Dogs are more expensive than cats, but there's always the option of visiting the pound and

taking on a rescue animal.

Some cats live their life indoors and require a litter tray, whereas others will stay out,

only coming in for food.

When choosing a dog, consider its size.

Larger dogs, like German Shepherds or Labradors, need more space and cost more to feed.

And when it comes to mood, dogs are more needy and affectionate.

Cats on the other hand are more independent, though it varies by breed.

For example, Siamese cats are intelligent and playful, but can be noisy, while longhaired

cats are laid back and shorthaired cats are generally affectionate.

And as individuals, both cats and dogs have different personalities, so interact with

them before taking them home to see if you can be buddies.

That might help you choose, but there's more to take in to account when your pet joins

you at home.

What about other considerations of day-to-day life with your new dog or cat?

Feeding - Animals all need feeding and because you'll be feeding them, they'll be your

BFF.

The amount a cat needs to eat varies depending on its size, but cats require less food than

pretty much all dogs, unless you're shopping for one of those tiny little toy dogs, that

some folks carry around in their handbag.

Cat food comes in dry or canned wet form and adult cats require between 250 and 300 calories

per day.

You can also feed your cat fish, such as canned tuna, as a treat now and then, but if it makes

up a large part of their diet, they are at risk of thiamine deficiency.

How much a dog eats depends on its size.

Commercial dog food comes in both dry and wet forms, and most dogs need between 25 and

30 calories per pound per day.

Dogs of course love bones but don't give your dog cooked bones because cooked bones

may splinter and injure their intestines.

And another danger food for dogs is chocolate.

For humans, it's a pleasurable treat but it can poison a dog.

Grooming - Cats famously do not like water, but luckily they do not need bathing, though

they should be brushed regularly, especially if they have long hair.

Most cats enjoy the activity as it relieves any itchiness, particularly during the hot

months.

As for dogs, they need grooming and bathing regularly, especially those with long hair.

In the summer, dogs will shed and lose their coat, so grooming aids this process, and if

you don't take the time to clean your dog, he or she will soon start to stink up your

entire house.

Health & Hygiene - Both cats and dogs can get infected with ticks, lice, fleas and other

parasites.

When this happens, disinfectants like Frontline or Advantix are required to clear the pet

of infection, though Advantix is used only on dogs because it is very dangerous for cats.

Frequent grooming and bathing will help to avoid these outbreaks, as will visiting the

vet regularly, to ensure the pets injections are up to date and other health checkups are

carried out.

House Training - Cats can easily be trained to use their litter-box.

This requires cleaning once a day.

But other than that, they tend to keep themselves to themselves.

A dog on the other hand, needs to be trained, socialized, and housebroken.

Training usually takes around 2 months and according to The Dog Whisperer, Cesar Milan,

the 5 essential commands your dog must learn are sit, come, down, stay, and leave it.

At the end og the day, dogs are for some people and cats for others.

If you spend a lot of time away from home, then maybe a cat is best, but if you have

a big house and yard and like a pet to stand guard, then you're probably more suited

to own a dog.

Hello everyone, JerenVids here, and welcome to the Addon of The Week.

Today we will have a look at the decoration addon for

Minecraft Windows 10 edition and Pocket Edition.

This addon adds 11 new items to Minecraft, which are all decoration related.

They fit perfectly for modern houses, since they are all quite modern.

Almost all of the items replace mob heads.

For an example, the TV replaces creeper heads.

You can place the items really easily, and they can be rotated, just like mob heads.

This addon also changes the design of beds.

They now look bigger, with a really nice 3D model.

Overall, this addon is great.

It makes building modern houses in Minecraft much more fun.

You can make your house feel much more alive and realistic.

10 Things INTROVERTS Want You To Know

Most people consider themselves either an introvert or an extrovert.

You can, of course, have the qualities of both, which would make you an ambivert.

But, usually people feel they identify more with one personality type than the other.

If you're an introvert, you likely feel misunderstood a lot of the time, and will

probably closely resonate with the things I'm about to mention.

And if you're an extrovert, chances are, you just don't fully understand introverts

or some of the things they do.

In which case, this video is for YOU!

Here are some things introverts want you to know!

Number 1 - They Need Time For Themselves

The biggest difference between introverts and extroverts is that introverts gain energy

from being alone.

Being around people for an extended period of time drains introverts, and because of

this, they need space to recharge.

With everything going on in the world and in our daily lives, it's very important

for introverts to take a few minutes, or even hours, to just be alone with their thoughts.

So if you notice that an introvert in your life is asking for some time to themselves,

it probably has nothing to do with you.

It's simply how they re-energize.

Number 2 - Being Quiet Doesn't Mean They're Bored

Introverts are often more quiet and reserved.

Of course, there are always exceptions.

In general however, they tend to be a little more introspective, and they like to observe.

You might notice that when you're out with an introvert, they aren't saying much.

But, that doesn't mean they're not having fun!

It probably just means they're taking in their surroundings.

Introverts can be quiet while still having a great time, wherever they are!

Number 3 - They're Not Anti-Social

Introverts often get a bad rap as being people who hate to be around others, and just want

to stay home all day, every day.

This simply isn't true.

Not all introverts hate socializing, and not all of them are terrible at talking to others.

Having said that, engaging in conversation and hanging out with others can be very tiring

to introverts.

They start to lose fire, and after a while, they need some time to rest.

Number 4 - They Don't Love Parties

Introverts generally aren't huge fans of parties, or any large get-together for that

matter.

They prefer to be around smaller groups of people, like a few close friends, that allow

them to have actual conversations.

They don't particularly enjoy talking with strangers, or being surrounded by lots of

people.

Sure, many introverts go to parties.

Most of them can handle these kinds of events in small doses, and sometimes they even have

a great time!

But if given the choice, they'll generally pick a 'night-in' with friends, rather

than a night at the club.

Number 5 - They Hate To Be Interrupted

One thing you should know about introverts is that they don't like to be interrupted

when they're doing something.

Introverts are deep thinkers who are often very intense, and get very into whatever it

is they're doing or thinking about.

When they get interrupted, even if it seems like they're doing nothing important,

they get thrown off course, and even upset!

So try to be respectful of their space.

Number 6 - They Are Not Shy

Another misconception is that introverts are shy.

But, introversion and shyness aren't the same thing, and not all introverts are shy.

While introverts are not a big fan of small talk, it doesn't mean they're bad at it,

or that they'll refuse to do it.

It's just that they don't like it, and they usually try to avoid it.

So if an introvert seems awkward or quiet - instead of trying to fill the silence, it

has nothing to do with you, and it doesn't mean they're shy.

They simply cannot stand idle chit-chat!

Number 7 - They Require A Personal Bubble

Don't be offended if an introvert avoids your enthusiastic hugs or forgets to reply

to your texts.

They need their space, literally and figuratively.

Public display of affection isn't really their thing either, and if you sit too close

to them for a while, things could get uncomfortable for them.

Introverts like to show affection in more subtle and meaningful ways - away from the

audience.

Number 8 - They Want You To Be Patient

Introverts usually don't enjoy talking just for the sake of it.

They often think (quite a lot) before speaking, so it might take them longer to say something

or join a conversation.

A lot of times, this pause is met by people who encourage them to speak up.

But, do know, that if an introvert wants to speak, they will.

At first, most introverts just come off as shy and quiet, but they're usually a lot

of fun…once you get to know them!

So, be patient and give them a chance.

Number 9 - They Are Not Depressed

Silence does not mean depressed, and that's a super important distinction.

Introverts will definitely want to set that record straight.

While they too can suffer from depression, just because they're introverts, does not

necessarily mean they're depressed.

Regardless of how much they sometimes isolate themselves, they simply enjoy being alone.

Number 10 - You Can't Make Them More Extroverted

Often extroverts will go out of their way to try to make introverts more like them.

They'll try to lure introverts out of their shell, try to talk them into being more social,

or try to get them to speak when they don't want to.

Introverts find this annoying.

And the truth is, that no extrovert is ever going to make any introvert more extroverted.

Let's just all accept that.

If you can relate to these things, then you're probably a certified introvert!

the next time you're interacting with an introvert.

BREAKING: $1.8 BIL Of Soros' Money Just Intercepted, He Could Officially Go To Prison

For Years.

George Soros is at it again throwing his money around and trying to manipulate political

races.

This time he's trying to reshape the nation's criminal justice system.

Soros thinks he can do this by dumping $1.8 billion into four of the 56 district, attorney

positions in California up for grabs June 5th.

This is the same kind of tactic he used to grab control of attorney generals in varying

states.

Soros isn't the only one either.

Wealthy progressive liberal donors are also pouring millions of dollars into these races.

Liberal groups are offering their support to would-be prosecutors who favor lower incarceration

rates, crackdowns on police misconduct and changes in a bail system that they argue discriminates

against the poor, the Los Angeles Times reported.

"These people who want to create their own social policy are not worthy of the office,"

former Los Angeles County District Attorney Steve Cooley told the newspaper.

"If they win in San Diego or Sacramento, L.A. is next."

You mean the city where the Mexican mafia runs the prisons?

That city?

Soros headlines a consortium of private funders, the American Civil Liberties Union and other

social justice groups and Democratic activists who are willing to put their money where their

Marxism is.

Take for instance San Diego County.

A deputy public defender is being financially backed after doing all he could to keep the

accused out of jail.

In Sacramento and Alameda counties, candidates are challenging the incumbents.

In Contra Costa County, a district attorney earned the support of the consortium of wealthy

donors and liberal groups.

Marxists are literally lining up with their checkbooks to get a piece of the DA's office.

Five more candidates in Marin, Riverside, San Bernardino, Stanislaus and Yolo counties

are also getting donations.

They are much smaller ones though, but still from liberal donors.

Noah Phillips, who's running in Sacramento County, attacked his boss, who is also his

opponent.

He says that he failed to ever charge a police officer who shot a civilian.

Here's the kicker, he flatly admits that Soros' team scripted and paid for his ad

on television, while his fundraising efforts were assisted by Cari Tuna, senior adviser

to Bernie Sanders' presidential campaign.

Socialists of the world unite!

Fox News said this about Soros in California:

"Soros reportedly spent over $1.5 million on a political action committee to prop up

the San Diego County candidacy of Geneviéve Jones-Wright, who attacked policies "criminalizing

poverty" and pledged to form a police misconduct unity.

"In total, Soros' spending reached nearly $3 million this week on races for district

attorney positions.

Such large cash infusions and support for liberal groups are crucial for contenders

as most elections are limited by the $800 individual contribution limit, leaving most

campaigns scrambling for cash and relying on unpaid volunteers."

"The flows of money remain unclear as federal laws allow nonprofit advocacy groups hide

the source of their funding and are required to provide only a summary of their spending."

"Jones-Wright's opponent, career prosecutor Summer Stephan, has yet to match the money

donors spent against her campaign.

Her $1.1 million support came mostly from police unions and other prosecutors, the Times

reported."

"Stephan slammed Soros' backing for her opponent, declaring it a public safety threat.

But Jones-Wright dismissed the alarmist tone, saying the funding merely gives voice to minorities

and poor people who are left behind in prosecutor races."

"I love it!" she said at a recent fundraiser, according to the Times.

"If he didn't take an interest in this campaign, it would be an even more uneven

playing field."

Alameda County District Attorney Nancy O'Malley is up for re-election this time around.

She was shocked to find out that she was on Soros' hit list to be ousted.

Especially since she's a registered Democrat and has earned endorsements from U.S. Sen.

Kamala Harris, D-CA and other organized labor and Democratic groups.

For some reason, she's being savaged by the left in California.

The Soros PAC is accusing her of implementing "racist" stop-and-frisk policies.

Her opponent, civil rights lawyer Pamela Price, promises to end such policies and blasted

O'Malley for being supported by law enforcement groups.

Cops are the bad guys in the world of Soros.

Wealthy progressive donors are also backing Diana Becton in Contra Costa County.

She was appointed district attorney of the county after her predecessor was forced to

resign amid a political corruption scandal.

Her challenger, a veteran prosecutor, slammed the support from the wealthy, saying "billionaires

who apparently think Contra Costa's public safety is for sale."

That about sums it up, don't you think?

As the Los Angeles Times pointed out, in most district attorney elections, the campaign

playbook is clear: Win over the local cops and talk tough on crime.

But in California this year, the strategy is being turned on its head.

Support the police and they want you gone.

It's a direct slap at President Trump and the rule of law and George Soros is in the

thick of it.

One, being that I thought I was too cool for school dances.

I grew up with American TV shows and American movies.

Figured, well, it's not really worth it to go to prom

because it's gonna cost a lot of money,

did not have any prospective dates.

- Although I'm not going to prom,

I'm excited to at least choose the dress.

- I like the idea of wearing something really audacious.

I am sad that I missed out on that opportunity.

- One thing I did do when I was in high school,

I still looked at prom dresses online.

- I think people will be surprised to see me in

something so formal and potentially

something really feminine.

- I don't really dress up for the office.

It's a different sensation than I'm used to,

You can see the sheer paneling, and also 'cause

really feels like I can rock.

That is probably one of the more

fun things to do about prom anyway.

I did feel surprisingly confident in them.

maybe even a special brunch, a bouquet of flowers, possibly the gift of a finger painting

But for some moms, this holiday can be quite lonely and full of heartache.

Whether their children are grown and gone or maybe stationed overseas, Mother's Day

doesn't mean the same for the moms who long to see their loved ones face to face.

Barbara Foy was hoping her son would call her on this special holiday, but he didn't.

She hadn't heard from him for quite some time, so while it wasn't a surprise that

he didn't phone, she was still upset.

Feeling blue, Barbara decided to do something to try and cheer herself up.

So she headed to her local Ruby Tuesday to enjoy a meal — albeit all alone.

Dejected and forlorn, Barbara didn't make eye contact until her sweet server struck

up a conversation.While chatting, the young server learned that Barbara was alone on Mother's

Day and hadn't heard a peep out of her son.

So she and her co-workers hatched a plan.

The employees worked quickly to assemble a gift basket for her Barbara while she finished

up her lunch.

She had no clue what was happening in the back room.When a few of the staffers walked

over to present their gift to her, Barbara was stunned.

But the kindness of strangers didn't end there.

Someone paid for her lunch and a customer who had overheard Barbara talking to her server

presented her with a rose.

Barbara told WMBF that she could not believe how her day turned around all thanks to the

generosity of complete strangers who cared enough to spoil her that day.

"I really felt like I was queen for a day … mother for a day!

I've never been made to feel so special."

Restaurant manager Lauren Nave said everyone was almost in tears by the end of their visit

with Barbara.

Secret Tip - Get Seven shades from one pencil - Duration: 6:32.

hey guys welcome back to another episode

a secret technique which I have used in most of my artworks

and won several competitions

actually I hate carrying a lot of pencils with me so

I developed this technique to get different types of shades from a single pencil

so let's find out how it's done

so I already made this reference shade using all these different shades of

pencils from 7B upto B

as you can see a smooth scale of darker to lighter shade here

and now I'm going to get all these different shades from eiffel's 3b pencil

Eiffel is a local brand in Pakistan

I will show you two different methods of

getting these shades from single 3b pencil first one is based on pressure

technique so I call this pressure method and I'm going to denote this with P and

second one is layering technique and I call this layering method and I'm going

to denote this with L

make sure to keep an eye on this pressure bar it will help

you understand the pressure on each shade

so let's start adding a darker shade

with this 3b pencil

you have to grab your pencil from the tip and put as much

pressure as you can and you will get this darkest shade from a 3b pencil

Now moving on to 6b shade

just lower the pressure a little and add the strokes

keep lowering the pressure for each shade by keeping an eye on this pressure bar

you can also change the grip settings to increase or decrease the darkness of the shade

and now for this B shade you have to grab your pencil from the ends

and add the stroke slightly

because it's the lightest shade in this scale

so we are done with this first method

and as you can see we got the same shades as in the

reference and the values of both the reference and the B scale are perfectly same

let's move on to second method which is layering method and in this

method we are going to add layers over layers to get our desired shade

and first of all I'm going to fill these boxes with a base layer of 2B or B shade

and then we will add extra layers later

if you are using a to B shade as a base layer then you have to add a

lighter shade in the B section or box

and now we are going to add another

layer over this layer but the direction of The Strokes will be perpendicular to

the previous one

now start adding the second layer in each box

make sure to keep the pressure constant in this case

we will be adding layers over layers until each shade matches to the reference

shade and then we will count the layers for each shade in the end

I'm gonna add a dot for each layer so it will be easy for me to count layers

as you can see this 4B shade is starting to match the reference with two extra layers

let's add the fourth layer

and the 5b shade is starting to match the reference

moving on to fifth layer

and now the 6B shade is perfectly matching the reference

let's add another layer for 7B shade

and here you go!

all the shades are perfectly matching the reference shades

results may vary from sheets to sheets so you just have to find the perfect

amount of layers or your specific paper

I am using a smooth white chart for this tutorial

So make sure to practice this technique and I'm sure it will help you alot
